Amazing hidden gem for Peruvian food! We tried the fresh pupasas with pork and cheese, empanadas, and churros. Everything was delicious and fresh. The staff were super friendly and the owner was so kind! She makes the salsas in house which are a must try on the pupusas!

One of the best peruvian dish I have had since ages. It is held by a mother and her daughter and when you go there, you see stream of peruvians flocking to the place. That's when you know the food is good when even the locals go there. 5/5.

Best, most authentic Peruvian food in Toronto, according to my Peruvian husband. He likes to go some weekends, when they have meals (a few set meals, rotating each weekend). They also have freshly made pupusas out front, which are delicious and so fresh tasting). Also, on both weekdays and weekends they have tasty empenadas (including vegetarian option), churros etc. And all staff are friendly. Really love this place! It is tiny and there are only a few tables, but it's worth the wait, for sure.

Decided to try out this little shop after researching for Peruvian food in Toronto. My partner (half Peruvian) is a big fan of aji de gallina and he told me this dish tasted exactly like his grandma's. I'm also a big fan of this dish after trying this for the first time. Ceviche here was also on point. We'll definitely visit again.

Was walking down Kensington when we first smelt, then saw these customers sitting outside enjoying these DELICIOUS looking seafood soups. We just HAD to stop and try it. I'm not even sure if it's on the written menu, but we asked the cashier if we could order a bowl and she said yes. The sweet mamas served us up with gorgeous bowl of parihuela and my goodness was it good. It was packed full of flavour and had so much seafood. It was $22 for a large bowl of soup and worth every penny. So excited to go back and try everything else.

Our experience at the local Peruvian restaurant was pleasant overall. We opted for the fresh chicken taco, which, while flavorful, left something to be desired in terms of taco seasoning and chicken meat quantity. The dominant taste of garlic was unexpected and somewhat overwhelming.

One of our favorite go to places when we come to Toronto for a visit. We always come for the fresh ceviche (only available on Saturday and Sunday) but worth it. The picture does not do the taste justice for how good it is. Refreshing on a hot day, we always get one to go for our Sunday travels home. We will be back for more!

Better than a lot of places Ive eaten in Peru! I love their ceviche which they only do on weekends, and they use proper Incan corn (not the dried stuff!). Love their tamales, and this is one of the few places I will eat an empanada at (since theyre so sketchy normally).

I came with the idea of having ceviche but it was already prepared and ceviche is better when it is prepared to serve. Try the chicken empanada. It wasnt bad but maybe the lomo saltado empanada would be better. What yes, they have Peruvian products: yellow aji, aji panca, tari, huancaina and inka kola. I will return to buy the products and try the lomo saltado empanada. Otherwise they only accept cash and debit.

Authentic Peruvian Culinary Delight with a Touch of Home. From the moment I stepped in, I felt a warm and welcoming ambiance. Lorenas passion for her heritage and food shines through in every aspect of the dining experience. The food was nothing short of amazing well-prepared and bursting with flavors that transported me to the streets of Peru. And if you cant dine in, dont worry! They offer takeout, which is a fantastic option if you want to enjoy the delightful dishes at home. The packaging is secure, and the food stays fresh and flavorful. The best part? You can find authentic Peruvian ingredients here at reasonable prices, making it an excellent place to stock up your pantry with quality items. Congrats Lorena!

She invited us some alfajores and those were delicious as well!! Keep up the good work Lorena!!! Your customers from Niagara Falls.

The tasty empanadas have various stuffings and the tamales melt in your mouth especially the award winning Quinoa tamale! I ve been lucky to have tried the papas a la huancaina(boiled potatoes that are covered in this delicate cheese sauce that will blow your tastebuds, and arroz con pollo which is a rice-chicken dish that with every bite you just want to say Mmmmmm!! What makes this place special besides the incredible food is the owner Lorena. She is so warm and inviting and definitely puts all her good vibes into everything she makes. This is our second time sitting here at the two window seats at the restaurant, we came back for the ceviche because it is INSANELY GOOD and super fresh! We wanted to try something else from Sunday menu so we went for the Arroz con pollo, it was definitely a new & unique flavour and a great portion. We also got two empanadas Spinach Feta & beef to go because they were selling out like hot cakes! My only con would be that every time we went we paid a different price and they don t give you a receipt for each item just a receipt of your total, which doesn t add up to the prices on the board, but it s a lovely lady doing all the work herself so I just consider it a tip because I would have tipped anyway. We got the ceviche, Arroz con Pollo & 2 empanadas to go and our total came at 45$

We havent been able to try everything they offer, but everything we have tried is EXCELLENT. My order of favorites: nougat (homemade, you have to order it 1 week in advance with Lorena) nothing to surprise from those from Peru, tamales (the pork and chicken one are excellent, but my favorite is the quinoa one, you must try it) and the empanadas (they taste just like those from Peru, which I had a hard time finding in Toronto). They also sell dishes like ceviche and others, Im sure they are good but I havent tried them. They always have Inca Kola, Peruvian ingredients and even sweets and chocolates.

The most authentic Peruvian ceviche I ve come across in the GTA. No frills, just good old fashioned ceviche de pescado. It s not particularly cheap (I believe it was $15 for a plate), but the quality and quantity is worth every nickel, and the value surpasses that of all the more expensive Peruvian restaurants I ve tried on St Clair West. Not a place to have a fancy sit down lunch, and last I visited, they only serve ceviche on the weekends. But if you miss Peruvian ceviche, this place will 100% hit the spot.

Popped in for a quick bite with my wife and kids while strolling around the area this wkend. Had no expectations with our order of 4 empanadas (spinach/cheese, jalapeno beef, beef & chicken) They were just alright and quite filling but the meat was dry & crumbly and not as flavourfull as we like our food... extra seasoning would help. We were also charged an extra $3 for an Alfajor that we did not order. When brought to their attention the 3 ladies seemed quite annoyed for some strange reason and made it very evident to us all. In any case, I just took the Alfajor instead of the $3 and it was actually quite good. Its too bad that the somewhat unfriendly service overshadowed everything else. Will not be returning.
