I always order from Acute Pizzeria, and the sourdough pizza is always great crispy and flavorful. The wings deal is also really good, offering great value. Definitely a solid choice for a good meal.

In response to the owners reply: thank you for your response, just to clarify for you, your website is where I tried to order for pickup at your in store prices, and you had it set to unavailable. Next time Ill call the store, I didnt try that this past time. Original review: The pizza was decent, we got the margherita and jala-pep, the dough was sour and chewy, which was nice and the toppings were decent. 3/5 We wanted to order for pickup but for whatever reason, that option was not actionable and we were forced to order delivery which cost an additional $27 all in from the usual price for a total of about $85 for two large pies. We wanted to come and pick up the pies ourselves after pre-ordering because we had just enough time to do that before our guests arrived and not to come in and order and wait for the pies to be done and as such, were pretty much forced to use the delivery option. The pizza is not that great to justify this cost, I realize this is DoorDash setting those fees but the restaurant did not avail the pickup option as an alternative for us to just pre-order. I try actively not to allow delivery service experiences impact my reviews but I think this is something the restaurant has control over, so I have deducted points for the service and not for the food, 2/5. I will come in and try a fresh pie at some point and I would recommend you do the same. It is different from west end favourites like Badiali and North of Brooklyn and worth a try for a different perspective.

Grabbed a few slices from the ready-made counter to heat up at home (they will blast in their pizza oven, of course, but I wasnt going straight home, so took it cold). Delicious!! The sourdough crust is fantastic, with a nice hint of sea salt to bring it home. Quality toppings -- we had the pepperoni, margherita, and 4 cheese. Sold at a fair price and ... well ... so good!! Knowledgeable, friendly staff. I totally recommend for the pizza afficiando to anyone just wanting to grab a casual slice. I will be a repeat customer now, %.

Toronto pizza has grown so much over the last few years but damn I recently came here and the pizza is really up there with some of the best.

I was looking for a nice pizza place outside of my regular options I order from and found Acute Pizzeria. I was reading the reviews and realized that its a place I noticed people seemed quite happy buying pizza from. Its on Dundas/Lansdowne. I decided to order from Uber as delivery. I ordered the Jala 14 Pepperoni with creamy garlic dip and a Fanta Orange drink. The pizza was so good I ate it myself and I have not ever done that. It was something with the taste that had me hooked. I hope it is consistent as I will order again. I have included a picture. It was well made and had the right amount of ingredients. If you are wondering to order? Give it a try. Parking: There is No Frills across the street but you have to park and walk over for pick up. Street parking is a no.

We have ordered from here a few times now (pickup and delivery) and the food is consistently delicious, and service is very friendly! Large portions with a generous amount of toppings - definitely our new go-to pizza place! Thank you for making great pizza!

Easily one of the best pizza places out there. The dough is so fluffy and yet every bite is perfectly crisp with a nice crunch to it. Fantastic place, definitely recommend.

Good for a quick slice but nothing to write home about. Parmesan grated on your slice fresh. Chili oil at the table. Dough is their best ingredient which is a sourdough. Sauce and cheese were meh (got a Margherita slice). Maybe slice was old?

Enjoy your pizza without the bloating! I got a Margherita and Cheese slice. The undercarriage was crispy, crust was airy, great flavours. I got the garlic dip as well, wasnt a huge fan of that. I will definitely visit again!

Its 2 days ago I went to this pizza store to pickup an Uber Eats Delivery order with my thermal bag.as mentioned in their Pickup Instructions. When I asked the staff I have a bag please rate me on Uber eats for my Job. The staff guy said dont worry youll automatically get a thumbs .. Its Okay it wasnt first time they made me fool by saying same words .. Last month in July i went 4-5 times to pick up delivery order with bag .. Each time the guy told me dont worry youll get thumbs up automatically .. I never got any single thumbs yet ...till now .. If you guys so busy cant give ratings on uber dont lie atleast ... It hurts alot ... I kept patience but now my frustration is out of control .. So cheap staff in this restaurant . Fake Smiles on their face

Tried for the first time yesterday... Was horribly disappointed. At first the top of the pizza looked at little burnt, so immediately wasnt impressed, only to find out the entire bottom was burnt to a crisp. Hoped this was a one-off, but based on other reviews it is not. Definitely not worth the money and wont be going back or recommending.

This is the worst pizza I have ever had... All of the dough was very burnt, and the toppings were peeling from it. First and last time I will order from here. Could not enjoy it at all because everything just tasted burnt.

One of the best take out pizzas Ive had in a long time! The edge crust was crisp, fluffy and chewy with a thin crispy base. We had the Jala pep.

This is arguably the best slice Ive had in the city and its super reasonably priced. The dough and ingredients are so light that you feel better afterwards than before (rare for pizza). As soon as the city catches onto this spot, its going to be packed. Grab a slice while you can.

The crust on their pizza is the highlight. Crispy first bite, but then it gets soft and chewy as a result of the sourdough. Flavours are standard (in a good way) and you can tell the ingredients are very fresh. Really good when reheated the next day. Base is well baked and has good structure without being over done. The best Sourdough Pizza in the city IMO, I keep coming back to it. On a mission to try every pie in the place its that good. They have specialty sodas as well, flavours you dont necessarily see in your average grocery or corner store. The wings are also fantastic and juicy, i highly recommend this Pizzaria Vegetarian options: There are around 6 vege pies available

Delicious pizza great service

Fantastic pizza, but they forgot the garlic dip I ordered! There are some really good pizza places in the neighbourhood and Acute Pizzeria is one of them - the name is alone warrants this. A test of a good pizza is its sauce, cheese, and dough, all of which Acute does exceptionally well. The crust is nice and fluffy which I imagine tastes amazing with a creamy garlic dip. Unfortunately I wouldnt know.... This was my first time here and while I would have easily given this place 5 stars, no dip knocks it down a bit (and I dont round up). Still, its definitely worth a visit!

This is my favourite pizza and best kept secret in the West End. Sourdough crust and ingredients is excellent and reasonable priced. Wings and fries are also so tasty. I get this more then I should and I cant help it, its so good. 5/5

This is a top 3 pie in the city. Absolutelt incredible stuff. Not to mention the price is very very fair. Would suggest changing Hot Peppers on the menu to Chili Flakes, as I was expecting pepperoncini or something similar, not simply chili flakes.

Acute Pizzeria is a great place to go if you are interested in eating well crafted and delicious pizza. Their sourdough crust is simply exceptional. It s wonderfully chewy and crispy. YUM. The staff are so friendly, good natured and so accommodating too. As a vegan, I appreciated very much that they have a separate pizza cutter to avoid cross-contamination. Thank you, thank you! My most recent experience at Acute Pizzeria is worth a special mention. While yummy pizzas are always on offer, the pizza that I had tonight (April 6) was made by Daniel and that pizza was not just YUM but BIG YUM!! The crust was so perfect, so delicately chewy, so deliciously crispy that it reminded me of the types of pizzas served in Naples, Italy. Now that s a real feat! Thank you Daniel for making my dinner so memorable for my taste buds. And Thank Acute Pizzeria for serving such high quality food and crafted with such care and at such affordable prices too.

Chewy and crispy crust with a little char in the best way. The Hawaiin pizza is excellent. I am currently in a pizza club with some friends and we try pies all over the city. This place ranks right up there with my favourites. Go try it. Also noticed there s a disgruntled uber driver wreaking havok on their google rating with his several fake accounts by giving a ton of 1 star reviews. Super lame. If you read this, help this business out and give them a good rating, they deserve it.

Absolutely atrocious pizza I received today. The bottom of the pizza was black and the entire crust was burned to a crisp. The entire pizza went into the trash. It is really shocking they would box a pizza like this and send it to a customer. Never again.

In my opinion the pizzas need more cheese and the service was just bad. I was looking at the menu which is on the counter and the girl put someones order right on top so I could no longer see it. I dont like that they put a bunch of toppings on your pizza slice when you order and it was already applied before I was asked or had the chance to stop her. She serves the guy before me slices with bags even though he is eating in the restaurant and my slice to go comes only on a plate. Kind of annoying. I may give this place another try because the crust was good but not anytime soon.

Pizza is so yummy, I prefer the whole pies to the slices. They use a Sourdough crust which is delicious. Reason for only 3 stars is that every table was dirty when I walked in to order. As I was waiting someone cleaned two of the three tables with something that smelled so strongly of bleach. The person who took my order was wearing gloves. She went to the back and later came out and the gloves were covered in flour. She took another order, scratched her hair a few times, drank from her iced Capp drink, restocked cans and took two more orders (touching cash and the screen) without changing gloves. What s the point of gloves if you re not changing them as you go? To me it s the same as not washing your hands. Please change your gloves as you handle different things (cash, the screen, cans that are coming out of the trays, etc.) or don t wear gloves and you re probably going to be handwashing more often.

So. Good! My partner is a serious pizza connoisseur and not easily impressed, and he was very impressed with this pie. We we had the Jalapeno pepperoni with hot honey and it was *chefs kiss.* The garlic dipping sauce is solid as well. Will definitely order again!

Great pizza slices. Cheese and Margherita slices were deliciously on point. Sauce and cheese were plentiful and flavourful. Uniquely buttery soft and airy crust with chewy exterior and tons of character due to the sourdough. Not much seating inside but the place is bright, clean and unpretentious. Great addition to the area. Ill be back often for slices or full pies.

Got the pepperoni and mushroom pizzas. Fresh ingredients, great texture, well cooked, but way way too salty. Very disappointing.

Excellent pizza. A light and airy crust that is perfectly crisp. Friendly service as well. We had 3 slices and all were delicious.

My favourite pizza in the city! Ive been by a few times for both slices and whole pies. Love the fact they use sourdough since it makes the crust light but flavourful. Prices are very fair. Service is always fast and friendly. Cant wait for my next visit.

Wow. So good. I thought it was one of the best pizzas in toronto. The crust is crispy and gummy at the same time. Sauce was good too I thought. Pepperoni could be more crispy but nbd. I personally love the texture combo of crispy and gummy crust. My best friends review: not enough fresh mutz (he got the margarita) he says flavourless sauce I disagree but he says 3/5. I don t think badiali is that special but he loves it. If you agree with me you ll probably like it here. If agree with him you might not like it. Good luck.

Best pizza around!

So glad we tried this spot finally. Pizza was really good and dipping sauces were equally as great. We had to call in to ask for the honey on the side because of an allergy and the lady we spoke to was so lovely. The best part was we decided to add wings and were blown away. Best wings Ive had in years!

I ve been reviewing pizzas in toronto for 10 years, this place floored me. Best pizza I ve tried since Badiali; I would rank them top 3 in GTA and a must try for anyone.

Words cannot explain my love for this pizza! It is chewy fresh and delicious! You can tell how much care the team puts into every pie and I couldnt be more grateful that they opened! PS get the hot honey on the pizza- its a game changer to dip the crust in!

Really really good pizza. We ordered 12 pizzas for a party and they were all still hot when we got them home and everyone LOVED them. The crust is amazing (not too big) and the pizzas reminded me of the ones in Italy but better. Will be coming back for sure

OMG! One of the best pizza Ive had in the city! I went in for just a pizza slice, but after finishing 2, I took a whole pizza home for dinner. Sooo good . The quality of the dough and of the ingredients are exceptional! The staff are fairly friendly too and service is quite quick. There are a few seats inside. I cant wait to go back to try another pizza. Highly reccomend!!!!

It is not a tasty pizza. Over priced.

Popped for a slice. Got the jalapeno and pepperoni. Some unique flavours of Crush I hadnt seen before, like grapefruit and watermelon. That slice came out and the shell of the sourdough crust was thin but super crispy. Shattered. But still soft chewy warm interior. It was lighter than expected in a good way. But the highlight was that hot honey. They drizzled it over the edge so i had something to dip and scrape up with my crust after devouring the slice. 10/10 would come back. Bonus, Im 99% sure it is Vietnamese owned. No photos because my slice was destroyed by my mouth.

Ordered Le Carne, I dont like their ham and the Pepperoni was still soggy, but their dough and pizza sauce is great. Ill try one of their OTHER pizzas next time and probably bump this up to a 4 or 5*. They are priced very well. The other pizza places in the area are over-hyped and overpriced. This place is very underrated (read some of their bad reviews, they are quite comical).

Amazing amazing service! Kelvin was lovely - and oh my GOD that pizza!!! It s crisp, yummy and the dough is actually delicious! We went as a Hail Mary late in the day and it was SO GOOD!

Acute Pizzeria is cute indeed! Popped in to try the sourdough pizza offerings and was super happy that I did! Crust is airy but crunchy and the bottom of the slice, and the crust has a nice chew. The sauce is nice and tangy and really shines through. They have a Moretti Forni pizza oven towards the front so you can see the pizzas baking and the slices warming if you choose. Good amount of toppings on the meat lover slice, but is definitely a saltier slice for those who are salt-adverse. Next time I will try with the hot honey. The Margherita slice was finished with fresh grated parm and all the flavours melded really well. Their soda pop selection is WILD. Three types of Sumol (Passionfruit, Orange, Pinapple), Tahitian Treat, cherry or pineapple 7up, four types of Crush (Strawberry, Peach, Grapefruit, Pineapple), and Pepsi Mango were some of the ones that I can recall, and of course they had some Brio as well. I tried the Peach Crush, and now I have a crush on it. Service was quick and the staff were very friendly. Decor is sleek and clean, with a black, yellow and white palette and some quirky pizza themed art. No glaring menus on display, the menu and prices are on the counter by the cash. Alternatively you can scan the URL located on the slice display case or on any of the tables. There are 3 tables with 8 chairs distributed among them, along with 2 counter stools at the window. Tunes were bumping but not deafening in case you are planning to sit and chat while you eat. I will definitely be back! Love the staff, theyre very friendly and sweet. The plant based options are fantastic and delicious, and the dough is perfectly balanced with a crunch and chewiness.

I discovered Acute from a TikTok and decided to give it a shot on UberEats. BEST. PIZZA. EVER. Also they have the best wedges I ve ever tried in my life. I wrote that I needed the pizza well done and they actually made it perfectly to my standard. Pizza is amazing the dough-crust-sauce-cheese-toppings ratio is perfect. I would highly recommend this place!

Never had sourdough pizza before, but Im a fan now! The crust as airy and light. Probably in my Top-10 pizza joints. Id take a pie from here over Badialis any day.

I love trying new pizza joints around the city and am happy to say Ive checked this place off my list! I opted for LA CARNE (16) which is a meat-lovers dream as it is a pie with tomato sauce, whole milk mozz blend, then loaded with cup n char pepperoni, fennel sausage, and bacon. Admittedly all this meat made the pizza quite salty and on the heavier, greasier side but I havent ever had a meat-loaded pizza where this didnt feel like that case. The crust is definitely the highlight as the under crust is a good thickness, while the edge crust is soft and fluffy, with a crispy exterior! Personally, I think a pizzeria should be judged by the crust because you can always change out the toppings - so this was a win for me and Ill be back to try some other flavors (which I think would also award this place with a higher score). Oh, I also ordered their homemade ranch to dip and personally didnt love this rendition of the sauce. It was on the thin and runny side, and quite tart. The one upside was that it helped to cut the grease of the pizza but I think Ill try their other dips next time. As a gourmet pizza joint, I feel like their prices are more affordable than other spots Ive tried around Toronto which is great. Another added bonus is that they have a really neat selection of drinks like Crush in special flavors such as peach and watermelon! These were so fun to try! You can easily check out their menu and order online via their website. Orders can be for ASAP or scheduled which is great and convenient.

My friend and I got different vegetarian slices and then split them with one another. Just wanted to clarify cause the picture could make it seem like their slices are tiny. Anyways solid pizza, super thin crust, lots of vegetarian options to choose from which was really nice. Staff was very welcoming and friendly.

Even though I said that I wanted to take my order, the short girl kept me waiting and continued to do other things. All he had to do was give me the pizza that was ready, but the staff did not respect their job. I had to cancel the order.

Slices can be a little bigger for $5 a slice. Theyre also too salty.

This spot sells baked happiness! Sourdough crust is a different game and these guys do it wonderfully. Super friendly staff, love the unique selection of pop and decorations. Do yourself a favour and order a fresh hot pie, slices are for amateurs, you ll surely want more and your stomach wont penalize you for it the next day because, sourdough!

I had been meaning to try Acute for a while since its in my neighbourhood and now having tried it a few times Im kicking myself for not trying it sooner! The pizza is delicious, the menu is simple (in the best way), and the staff are great. During my second visit I showed up a little early and when they told me it wasnt ready yet I went to my car to wait. A couple minutes later one of the staff members ran out in the cold and said it would just take a few more minutes and that theyd bring it out for us so we didnt have to come back in. It was a simple but thoughtful act of good customer service and I really appreciated it. This is my go-to place for pizza. It competes with Maker and Blondie in terms of quality but is more affordable and the staff are super friendly.

Grabbed a pizza after a long bike ride. They were just opening and I think we got the first one of the day. Fantastic crust, great toppings and friendly service.

Best pizza and best customer service

Their customer service is TOP TIER. I ordered Snow in marinara and it tasted very very good. The sourdough crust is just delicious. They have a huge variety of soft drinks to choose from.

Loving their pizzas, every slice is amazing very friendly owners and always consistent with quality and always on time ! Not only that but they have great sides as well equally great as the pies themselves. Only down side is theyre close on Tuesday :( give this place a try and youll find yourself coming back pretty often.

The moment I walk in, Im hit with the irresistible smell of fresh-baked pizza. Hands down, this is the best pizza Ive ever had. The sauce tastes like the tomatoes were crushed at their freshest. The crust? Something special about it its got an unbeatable crunch. Clearly, they dont skimp on quality here. No need for fancy words; the pizza speaks for itself. Its simply awesome. And the staff? I was looking for a pizza place with cup and char pepperoni near by and stumbled upon this place on Uber eats. We ordered the 16 inch pepperoni and added hot honey on top. It had about 8 slices but it was very filling for two people! 14 inch would of been a perfect amount. I really enjoyed the pizza, the sourdough is different and I liked it a lot. The garlic dip was great and a generous amount, we got two but could have just split one. Overall loved it and would order again! A plus is they have Vanilla Coke!!

Tried this place for the first time yesterday and my family and I were blown away. Would go as far as saying this is officially one of my top three pizza spots in the city (amongst Badiaili s and Mac s Pizza). We ordered their Snow in Margarita, Pepperoni, Vegan Bianca and Chicken wings, all 10/10. Crust was perfect, sauce was a perfect balance of sweet and salty and the vegan cheese was impressively good (can be hit or miss from other spots). Chicken wings were cooked perfectly, breaded well and not greasy. Really glad they re on Uber Eats bc this is a new staple in my house! Vegetarian options: Lots to choose from! Dietary restrictions: Great Dairy Free, and/or Vegan options!

I was pleasantly surprised the fungi pizza was soooo good. I highly recommend, good quality ingredients and worth the price you won t be disappointed

I had the Hawaiian pizza and wings for my first time trying Acute .. Its literally the best pizza I ve had in Toronto and now have my sourdough crust obsession checked . Crust was amazing and toppings were fresh and perfectly loaded ! Winds were awesome too

I ordered a pizza and I have to say, it was a complete letdown. The crust was overly soggy and tasted like it had been sitting out for hours. The toppings lacked freshness, and the cheese had a strange, artificial flavor that I found unappetizing.

the staffs are inattentive and disrespectful and the food is trash, I cannot recommend a pizza from this place based on my recent visit. I hope they take this feedback to heart and make the necessary improvements to provide a better experience for their customers.

Best takeout pizza in the city hands down.

Our FAVOURITE spot to grab pizza. Weve tried most of their flavours and have never been disappointed. Our favourites are the Margherita and jala pep. The wings are also delicious. Acute is the best thing thats happened to our neighbourhood!
