Wow! It was my first time trying Big Trouble tonight and I was blown away! The lace on the smash burger was exceptional along with the quintessential toppings and fresh bun. Tried a slice of pizza too and it had awesome taste too. Great quality for great prices and the staff are so friendly and welcoming. Will be back asap and now reigns in my top 5 smash burgers in TO! You have to check it out!!

We have a lot of good pizza options in this area and right now this is our favourite. The simple cheese pizza so good with tons of cheese! Smash burgers are addictive as well! Highly recommend

As a burger guy, KWB has the bite! Accompanied with the right touch of heat. Met Mikey at the counter. A fun, passionate guy. They focus on food and it shows. I see the creativity and inspiration in their craft. Kind folks, get down to Geary, and smash a few smash burgers or za at Big Trouble Pizza.

The pizza is probably the best I ve ever had but the website and ordering process is the worst. If I didn t know how good it was I would have given up after the 4th try ordering online.

Great customer service! Ever have the trouble of choosing between pizza or burgers? Well this place has both, and both are REALLY good. People kept comparing to burger drops and my expectations were high. I say they exceeded them. The outside patio is also really nice to sit and enjoy a bit when the weather is warm. Nice peaceful street and good vibes. Parking: Kinda hard to find parking since so many people want to go here and the other places nearby.

We love Big Trouble! Everything on their menu is unique and exceptional. I have something different every time but dont sleep on their perfect fries or their Kung Funghi pizza which is both beautiful and delicious. The owner is so friendly and there is always a great movie on! Definitely find the time to try this place out and it will become a regular haunt. Kid-friendliness: The owner always makes our kids pizzas a little less hot so they can eat them right away and the casual atmosphere is perfect for family lunches

I left the church about ten years ago but I think Eddie and the team at Big Trouble are bringing me back to God, one burger at a time. Not only are they using meat from a local Geary Ave butcher, but the fries are truly out of this world. Everything from the toppings and secret sauce are carefully prepared in house to ensure each bite contains the perfect flavour profile. It is a balanced and satiating meal that leaves you wanting to come back the next day! The only thing more exciting than the wonderful food is the thought that they might do something crazy next Thank you for joining our neighbourhood and adding to the vibrant local community!

Pizza was amazing, tried the parshoots! The dough was such a nice blend of crispy and airy, thicker yet not thick, just amazing! Definitely will be back to try the others!

the food here is creative, unique, and absolutely delicious. i usually get a couple of different slices during lunch, The Keanu is incredible. the smash burgers are so tasty and satisfying, i usually grab one to go and eat it in the park paired with a beer from blood brothers. its very apparent Mikey and his team put a lot of care into what they serve - not just presentation and quality but also the diligence and discipline to create the flavours which are unique (with a touch of familiarity) and consistent. in a city flooded with pizza shops and burger shops, Big Trouble is a standout for flavour and creativity, no one does it like they do.

Tried the special roast-lahoma smash burger and it was, with zero exaggeration, the best burger I ve had in toronto, and toronto has amazing burgers. This was so perfectly layered, cooked, proportioned, just perfect 10/10 burger. I can t stop thinking about it.

Incredible pizzas and smashburgers, and owned by some of the best people. Their pizzas are unique with a crispy and fluffy dough and really understand flavours so there are no bad options to choose from. Aside from amazing pizzas, they arguably have the best smashburgers in Toronto as well. Its worth the trip out to Geary. Vegetarian options: Their Kung Funghi Pizza and Kilauea Pizzas are two of the best vegetarian pizza options available.

Was at Blood Brothers Brewery and stumbled upon this pizza and burger joint. Quite honestly the best pizza Ive ever had in my life. Worth every penny. Had the mushroom pizza and balsamic reduction with lemon (cant remember the names off hand). You can literally taste the love that went into crafting this oven toasted masterpiece. Will be back for their burgers, I can only imagine. Cant recommend this place enough, you wont be disappointed.

We had the Butter Jam Jam and the mushroom pizza and they were SO GOOD!! We spoke with the owner for a bit and he ended up offering us an entire pizza for free! Definitely going to be coming here more often. Great service, great price, great pizza, and in a very cool and unique part of town! What more do you need?

Absolutely blown away by how delicious and unique the pizza was here. Dough was light, flakey, crispy and ingredients were gourmet and fresh. Mikey is kind and thoughtful. Definitely try this place out if you re a foodie and love pizza!

4.5/5 Prior to COVID, Big Trouble Pizza was one of my favorite pizza spots in Toronto, known for its unique pizza combinations like Raspberry Jam, Balsamic Reduction, and Mozzarella or Prosciutto, Cremini Mushrooms, and Truffle-Infused Ricotta. After closing their previous location, they ve now reopened bigger and better, expanding their menu to include not only pizza but also burgers. Since I had previously reviewed their pizza a few years back, this review will focus primarily on their burgers. Upon recommendation from one of the workers, I decided to try the Big Trouble Burger (the original), even though I ve sampled many smash burgers across Toronto. The first bite was a revelation the soft potato bun, the crispy crust of the beef patty with the perfect fat-to-meat ratio, and the standout element, the sauce. That extra sweetness, which may go unnoticed by most, made my eyes widen in awe. Aside from Extra Burger, I have not had a burger that has impressed me this much in a long time, 9.5/10. The burger was so exceptional that I had to compliment the chef, who insisted I try the other two burgers on the menu the Kwispy Wanch Burger and the Roast-Lahoma Burger. Firstly, I must express my abhorrent disdain for the name of the Kwispy Wanch Burger. However, setting the name aside, the burger has all the makings of a top-tier burger. I would rate this burger a 7.5/10. What it lacks is the tanginess, which can come from the ranch or the pickled onions, or from pickling the jalapeños. Though, I did really like the fresh crunch the jalapeños provided. The Roast-Lahoma Burger also earns a 7.5/10 rating from me. The essence of the Oklahoma Burger lies in letting the sweetness of the onions shine, where the vapour of the onions would perfume the beef. Unfortunately, the onions naturally sweetness was overshadowed by the dijonnaise. Although roasting the onions was a good idea, I felt there was a lack of onion flavour which can come from cooking the onions a bit longer to bring out their natural sweetness. In conversation with Eddie, the mastermind behind these burgers, I gained insight into his dedication to quality and consistency. He emphasized his close collaboration with the butcher next door to ensure a consistent fat-to-meat ratio in each burger. Eddie s meticulous approach involves preparing a small portion of the meat blend each morning and cooking it to perfection to maintain consistent quality. Overall, including both burgers and the pizza, I give Big Trouble a solid 4.5/5. I m hopeful that they ll become a neighborhood staple and continue to delight customers with their creative and delicious food.

Just had the Kwispy Wanch Burger and it might be one of the best burgers I ve ever had.

Super chill spot with the best smash burger in town. Try it, you wont regret it. Youll probably want to order another one right away. Their pizzas are amazing and they have such interesting take on flavours. My favorite is the Keanu which appears to be a permanent menu item. There are some other rotating flavours and they are all worth a try. If you want some alcohol to go with it, they are just a short walk away from several different brewery options.

The pepperoni pizza is out of this world. Very flavourful. The dough and crust are airy and perfectly crunchy. The sauce is made of real tomatoes.

Fantastic smash burger! Meat was nice and seared. I really enjoyed my burger. Next time I come Im going to try their pizza. My only complaint is the seating isnt comfortable. But this isnt the place where they want you to hang out so take it with a grain of salt.

Amazing burger and the best service!

Pizza was fresh! The burger was delicious! Im not a fan of coated fries but they were also fresh. The milk carton stools were really not cool or comfortable, so we opted for the Algonquin chairs out front in the hot sun. A couple patio umbrellas and decent chairs inside would be a fantastic addition.

Tried the pepperoni slice. Was small and very average. Crust was thick and non-traditional but had a nice crunch and was still decent. Tomato sauce was fairly bland, as was the pepperoni. The slice was definitely not worth $10 including a can of ginger ale and a $1 tip. I was left hungry afterwards. Not sure why they have such a high rating though perhaps its because of the creativity of their other pizzas but, still, you gotta make a good pepperoni pizza.

Eddie and his crew have crafted something absolutely genius. Between their unique and varied options, they have perfected both flavour and crust combinations. You cant miss eating here. I travelled from Oshawa and I would travel here again from Ottawa or beyond just to have the Keanu or Butter Jam Jam. Ridiculously incredible. Dont settle for a Pizza Pizza pizza again! The folks over at big trouble pizza are making a big wave over at their location on Geary avenue. With a stellar, but tight menu, you cannot go wrong with any of the pizzas they have. Their staple however, the butter jamjam, will always be a hit. In addition, the well kept secret here is that they are in contention for one of the best smash burgers in the city. You wouldnt anticipate it from a pizza shop, but its one hell of a burger, we can tell you that much.

Really amazing food. Tried their big trouble burger and the keanu pizza. Both were fresh, the quality of the ingredients were spot on. The pizza really stood out though... no ones doing pizza like these. The combination of ingredients is so creative and delicious! The burger was amazing too, everyone seems to be doing smash burgers but theirs is definitely not one to sleep on. The edges were crisp, the bun was soft and toppings fresh. Will definitely be back. Good job chefs.

First time Ive tried them after moving to Geary, and their pizza is just as good as I remember from Spadina: crust is spectacular (crisp but not crunchy or burnt), toppings are fresh and the amount of food you get from a large are generous. Butter Jam Jam and Kung Funghi are my go-to, but their simple pies are also great. Took my food to go, but their new spot looked clean and breezy, wouldnt say no to dining in next time. Glad theyre back, looking forward to patronizing them again! Heard about this place a while back and was finally able to try them out. Definitely one of the best smash burger spots in TO. Perfectly cooked burger patty with that distinct smash burger crisp and a simple, Perfectly layered amount of lettuce, tomatoes, house sauce and ketchup between fluffly potato buns. Managed to try out a slice of their MF Prashoots pizza, which was also delicious, especially with the crunchy crust. Very pleasant and friendly staff. Will definitely come back and order again and try out the other pizzas!

Been going here since they were still in Kensington back in 2018. Decided to go to the new location recently and Im so happy that everything is the same! The Butter Jam Jam is easily one of the best pizzas I have had in my life. Love the funky and delicious combinations yall put out. People here are always super friendly and chill to talk to as well. 100% worth taking the time out of your day to come here!

During my stay in Toronto, I discovered this place because of its proximity to my Airbnb and what a great discovery it was! They are delicious and very well served. Delicious and crave-worthy! I have had the pleasure of trying out most of the slices on the menu and they are all exceptional. My favourite slice is the butter jam jam which you will not find anywhere else. It s an experience with every bite and a perfect 10/10 overall.

This place has the BEST smash burgers in the city. All the pizzas are amazing, too. Super friendly staffs Food : 5/5

Delicious cheese pizza and really good customer service.

Meh. Weird menu, they dont allow modifications, but their menu items are not memorable at all. Slightly overpriced for what they offer. There was a bunch of cold pizza on the counter, I guess for display but did not do the trick for me. The place is really big and it looks empty most of the time

Ive never written a food review but this pizza hits different. Went on their 3Y anniversary and got a free pie. Solid chef, best pizza hands down. Respect.

My fave pizza in T.O.

I ordered two pizzas - Kikis Memories (pictured) and a Spicy Pepperoni. The former was like a levelled-up Hawaiian, and absolutely delicious down to the crust. The missing star is due to the SP - I appreciate that theres only so much you can do with a pepperoni pie, but I was taken aback by the discrepancy in quality between the two products. Based on KM, Im sure this shop does other good stuff, so Ill be sure to try the other offerings.

Expensive but WORTH the price. One of the most unique pizzas I ve ever had; it was sweet, salty, and savoury all at the same time and they definitely don t skimp on the cheese. Totally worth stopping in for a pizza, you won t regret it!

I really loved the light crispy and crunch of their one of a kind pizza dough! The toppings were well crafted and everything tasted so amazing together. The staff was incredible and patient in helping us navigate through the menu and very welcoming and inviting for having us dine on the open patio picnic tables out in front. Definitely coming back to try more!!!! I typically do not eat pizza crust- however, for this- I cannot stop thinking about the crunchy crust

Big trouble has the most interesting pizza in the city and the 365 dough is delicious and leaves you feeling great afterwards. I had the MF Prashoots. It was delicious. I also love the Kung Funghi. This pizza has different ingredients and methods of putting flavours in with jellies and creams. Highly recommend.

Amazing new concept! Their choice of toppings is super diverse and unusual. The crust is puffy and you want to eat every piece of it! Totally worth it, I highly recommend it!

Mind blowing pizza. Totally worth every bite. Toronto style pizza at it s absolute best. We had the mushroom pizza and the margarita and absolutely shocked at how tasty it is!

I have been meaning to drop by for a while... We ordered MF prashoots yesterday. Everything on the pizza was perfect. The flavours worked well, the crust was crisp but not hard. Every bite, our tongue swirled the ingredient in unexplored excitement. This place is delicious! I am looking forward to trying their smash burger on a tuesday!

Im writing this review solely based on their ash burger. Its THE BEST smash burger in Toronto. Hands down. Better than Rudys, Mattys patties, gold Standard, happy burger, etc... Just trust me. Get it

Not a generic pizza place like one around your block and not a generic pizza either. Discovered them last year and ever since I have been getting pizzas from them. Highly recommend them

Big Trouble is amazing! Love the non-typical sponge like crust. Went for the Danza, because who doesn t love Tony? Delicious.

Run by the nicest and hardest working guys! The most unique slice youll find in the city. The dough is amazingly light and airy. A must try! Tuesdays they make smash burgers, delicious!

4/5 Would return for the other flavours. Definitely chose the wrong pizza here as the pepperoni is nothing to write home about. Crust is interesting as it is much lighter and fluffier than it looks. Otherwise needed maybe 2 mins more in the oven for pepperoni to cup more. Edit: Shame they moved.
