920 Danforth Ave, Toronto, ON M4J 1L9, Canada
Danforth Pizza House, established in 1964, is the oldest operating pizzeria in Toronto. We've been serving up the neighbourhoods best pie for generations and we're proud to say we continue to follow the same beloved recipe. Family run for years, we're not just a business but a part of a beautiful and historic Danforth community.
Drove from Hamilton to come try this place while the sauce and crust were good the cheese was of very low quality (very chewy and hard) just made the pizza not great. The toppings were also lacking, they were only on some slices which was disappointing.
Best #1 Pizza in East York since 1964 and was in the media. Been there and now I m know why Paula Fletcher City of Toronto was there. Cash Only! Never Closed it's Doors Since 1964 Keep up the good work! Highly Recommend
Delicious pizza! I love that you can grab a quick slice if you're just passing by, but taking home a full pie for dinner is always a good idea. It always makes me smile to pass by and see them stretching the dough in the window!
Probably the best pizza in the city, this little shop has been operating for decades. The current family who run it have pizza making down to a science and are some of the nicest and most friendly people around. You can tell that they love what they do and that is reflected in every pie they serve. Sauce has the perfect tang, their cheese is prepared fresh and with their own style giving it the perfect melt and stretch, and the dough is soft with the exact bite you want. Bring cash and order lots... you won't be disappointed!
Danforth Pizza House is a charming, family-owned restaurant with a welcoming atmosphere. The owner’s sons, who run the place, are very friendly and make you feel right at home. I tried their special, and while the pizza was fresh and well-made, I found it a bit lacking in flavor. The sauce and dough could use a bit more seasoning or salt to bring out the flavors. That being said, it’s still a great spot for a casual meal. Keep in mind, they only accept cash, so be sure to come prepared!💵
My wife and I were in the area after getting off at the TTC Subway Station Donlands and came across the really eye-catching Pizza Joint. The sign stood out and grabbed our attention as soon as we were walking along Danforth, so we decided to get a pizza and let me say….. This is how a pizza should be done. We walked in and found an extremely clean place. You could tell that the people that work and own this place take pride in how they present themselves. The staff was extremely friendly and helpful with any questions we had. We ordered a 12” pizza with Pepperoni, Sliced Tomatoes, Double Smoked Ham and Green Peppers. The pizza was cooked perfectly and the crust was airy and light, so tasty. The pizza sauce they used was full of flavor which is where some pizza places drop the ball. The toppings were very fresh and of great quality, especially the cheese. A bonus that was available was a few outdoor tables, where you could sit and enjoy your pizza. The only negative we had was, this place only does cash (at the time we were there), so make sure to bring some along with you. This was a great experience and we will definitely be back for great food like this. If you live in the Danforth and Donlands area, you are very lucky people. Give this place a try, you will not be disappointed you did.
GREAT pizza, one of THE very best in the city, despite often being ignored in the rush to embrace new, trendy places in hipster zones. Extra cheese, well done, old school impressive 'neighbourhood style' pizza that is absolutely Top Notch!! Was great in the past, and still is!
Pre-ordered online on their website for weekday opening (1pm). Pretty solid pizza, we got The House Special with pepperoni and bacon, which was tasty. I most liked the ratio of dough to sauce to cheese. Definitely better than other pizza chains on the Danforth. Pickup is cash only! Prices weren’t crazy and standard to pizza chains nowadays
The pizza is always great for the reasonable price. Much higher quality and care than the mass market pizza stores. Wheelchair accessibility: The door is on the main floor. Not sure if its accessible.
Absolutely amazing..best pie in town.. the owners are very friendly and treat you like family
Make the trip over to the Danforth Pizza House, you wont be disappointed. Great pizza done the old school way, will return soon. Food
Great pizza, and the family running the place are awesome. Great to see families taking over the place and keeping the traditions alive. Well done.
Excellent pizza would highly recommend
Ordered 2 pizzas Very yummy and lots of toppings Thank you very much Food : 5/5
Best ever! Greatest people youll ever meet
Simply amazing enough said, luv Chirs
Congratulations Danforth Pizza House.
Best pizza in the east end. Classic style, unrivalled for flavour.
The pizza was amazing and beautiful service. I recommend everyone to go here and eat a big pizza.
Nice pla e nice staff could only pay with cash
Got a large pepperoni pizza with extra cheese well done. WOW. New neighbourhood spot I ll be a regular. Great crust, flavourful sauce and mozzarella. Food : 5/5
This place has the best pizza and reasonable prices. Love it every time! Friendly staff, super clean, everything 5 star!
The cash only policy is a bummer. But what is a bigger bummer is that they close so early on non-weekends. Even just an extra 15 mins would be great, as 8pm is a touch early. Food is great and staff are super friendly. I would def go more often if it was opened a touch later and offered cashless options.
The issue might of been because we went around 5pm...the food seemed ok, could of had a little more food, my 8yr old had the burger, fries and drink there and he even said it was small. The fries could of been a little better and too, it was the size of a small fries at McDonalds. The burger was good, just small. Service was OK, seemed like everyone was tired and tried their best. Just one other person was there eating and he looked unimpressed too. The burger, fries and drink was around $20 and small portions. Vegetarian options: Yes Dietary restrictions: Flexible Kid-friendliness: Yes Wheelchair accessibility: Yes
Expensive pizza and it doesnt taste any better than pizzerias that are considerably cheaper (my kids who are pizza snobs dont want to go back). I bought pizza from here recently and five years ago. Back then we bought four or five pizzas for a birthday party and they were over done/burnt (which is why we never went back for five years). This time at least the pizza wasnt burnt but it also wasnt worth the premium. They also only take cash and their receipt didnt even show an HST number, business name or number, tax amount, total or subtotal. Nothing that youd expect to find on a regular receipt.
Im so delighted that DPH retained the quality from when it was a hole in the wall. The pizza is delicious and the crust is the best Ive had in the city. Plus, the family that runs out are so nice.
Whenever Im in the east end and feel like a proper pizza this is my go to spot. The pizza is amazing and the toppings are all high quality and fresh! The owners are also as sweet as you can imagine and care for their new or returning customers. If you like a little bit of heat and sweet, Id recommend the angry bee and make sure you get the roasted garlic dipping sauce! You can actually taste that roasted garlic flavor and its a game changer.
Super happy I discovered this place. They are cash only, so please make sure you have some before going in. Sweet owners, clean, friendly place.
Love this Restaurant, food is delicious and the owners are warm, friendly and have been in the neighborhood for over 40 years. Highly recommend you try it out.
The last pizza was too greasy, and there were barely any toppings. The toppings werent spread out, and the tomato sauce tasted like tomato paste:(
Everything is great in this business! Thank you !!!
The best pizza on The Danforth imo. Got the House Special and the dough was nice, chewy and soft. Crust was not too thick which I like. Toppings were fresh and I was very happy with my purchase. Always excellent freindly service, I highly reccomend.
A real gem!
Good peeps, great Za
Amazing pizza . Staff if super friendly. Clean nice restaurant Food : 5/5
Whether its the Friday night pizza tradition, or a family get together, we look no further than Danforth Pizza. My parents have gone here since they were kids, and Im happy that my kids and I are now part of the tradition. LARGE HOUSE SPECIAL, SEE YOU IN 20!
Perfect pizza, professional and nice staff
Great atmosphere great food
Without fail, one of the best and most consistent pizzas in the city.
The pizza was good but it was cash only when I went so make sure you have some
So disappointed. Burned again and we even put a note on to cook but not overcook. We used to get the occasional pie from Danforth Pizza and they were ok so we thought we would give them another try. So back to our previous pizza place as they do not arrive burned.
Accepts only cash.
Not my favourite pizza, I find the crust reminiscent of stale thick white bread. The pizza kind of reminds me of how pizza pizza used to be way back in the day, very old school style pizza. Many people like it though so may just be me but I found it not very fresh or tasty. 2.5 stars
Fantastic pizza and service!
Just tried this place for the first time. Absolutely great pizza, True quality ingredients. Probably the best on Danforth! Parking: Found parking on first pass
Amazing pizza! Staff was great and definitely worth it, pricing is good and pizza was fresh! 11/10
Ummm not sure where all these great reviews came from. I thought it was rather nasty to be honest. Burnt and next to no toppings. Next time I ll stay home and make toast.
Had another 5/5 pizza last night. We ll be back, again and again and
Good option for pizza with great taste. The owner is very respectful . Great service and pizza is made in front of your eyes. Tried Bianca with roasted garlic dip and cane cola. They take only Cash and has ATM inside. Vegetarian options: You can custome made pizza so there is endless combinations for pizza. Parking: Its street parking so you have to find any place to park
Excellent pizza! If you like crispy crust montreal style pizza this place is for you
Best pizza in the city.
Incredibly friendly staff and delicious pizza. A true gem of the neighbourhood. Ive been meaning to try their pizza as it is very popular in the community pages/groups. We (2) ordered the 16 Angry Bee and took half of it home. Highly recommended. Such a great mix of sweet and spicy. Theyre cash only with an ATM on-site. I was waiting for a friend, outside, for about 10 minutes before going in. It was constant steady traffic for folks picking up pizza orders. I even often heard people walking by, cutting off their conversation to say how great it smelled in there. I completely agree. I love the countertop set up at the storefront window so that passersby can watch the pizzas getting made. Since COVID they pivoted and no longer have much dine-in seating. There are a few stools by a bar table against a wall with a beautiful assortment of Danforth Pizza House memorabilia. My favourite were a set of business cards from the establishment over the years. We were told that they had been brought in by customers who, for example, found them in their parents homes from way back when. It was so wholesome to be shared this story. Theyve also got a nice selection of fizzy beverages that just go perfect with a slice of pizza. Looking forward to coming here again!
Its my favourite pizza place. Thanks for the great pizza and service.
Good pizza , good price
Owner and his wife are very pleasant people. We ordered the Butcher pizza with extra cheese. Lets just say we ate it all and my husband and I didnt talk much! It was that good. I would say the only star I would take off would be for price. We spent $35 for a medium pizza, lol. I dont know maybe Ive had too many pizza pizzas, but thought it was more expensive the 1 $ Ill be back someday.
OMG. Literally the BEST TASTING Pizza in Toronto. I ve lived here for 13 years now, Why am I just learning about this place?! I m a HUGE FOODIE and I love flavour and when I walked in, the ingredients were displayed with freshness and I just KNEW I had to have some. Although I did not have cash, the Marsales grocery store next door does cash back so I went over and I am so glad I did. The pizza didn t make it home. I ate half on the subway ride home. The woman inside said I m going to love it because it s made with so much LOVE and she was right. Thank you guys for being around Try this place, you won t be disappointed.
I heard a lot about them from a friend and gave them a try today. Perfect pizza! They may have just ruined the other pizza places that I really liked. Definitely worth a visit!
Passed by here last week while I had a craving for pizza. What a great choice! The pizzas were excellent as was the service. The crust was light and airy with a crispy texture. There was just the perfect amount of salty flavour. The sauce on the cheese pizza was perfect. We ordered plain cheese and Bianca this time. Cant wait to go back and try the others.
Looking forward to my first pie from Torontos oldest Pizzaria, the MeatLovers Delight. Will rate more after Ive eaten.
Hands down the best pizza Ive tried in Toronto. In a city with stellar pizza spots in every neighborhood this my favorite. Classic pepperoni and garlic dip you wont be disappointed.
Family owned & run pizza place. The food is delicious & the service is amazingly warm. We walked in and found out they currently only do Take-out, and depending on what you order, it can take about 30mins. Food is always fresh & you can sit and watch them (Nonna, Mama, & papa) make all the pies. They currently only accept cash payments, but there is an ATM available if needed. While they do cost a bit more than a fast-food pizza place; you will notice the higher quality of food and service.
Best pizza I ate in Toronto and they are very nice !
I believe 5star is not enough for this business! Im so picky in choice my pizza, but this taste with fresh bread and garlic made this food elegant! Thanks for respectfully treat and super delicious pizza
Everyone is so friendly and food is absolutely delicious. We go every few weeks, totally worth the commute from Vaughan, YUM!
Picked up the House Special today and it was absolutely delicious! Great thin crust, super cheesy, generous toppings and friendly people. It was well worth the 40min drive from Scarborough. In terms of price I believe it s pretty fair about $20 for the 12inch especially for its homemade like taste. Definitely coming back again!
Cash only. Which is NOT ideal but the soprassetta won.
I m sitting here enjoying the best pizza I have had in a very long time and just wanted to thank you. The Diavola and Sam s 1962 Hawaiian is absolutely full of flavour, perfectly cooked with an amazing tasty cheese that I cannot identify. Great job guys, we re a bunch of critical Italian foodies sitting in the backyard at Pape and Danforth and cannot find a single thing wrong with this pizza. Yay you. Love it!
Great pizza, nice people. Update: I wrote this when I first moved to the area, since then its become my favorite pizza of all time. Nothing beats a margherita pizza from Danforth Pizza in my opinion. Food : 5/5
Absolutely amazing pizza. Friendly staff, always easy to call in and pick up 20 minutes later. Service with a smile.
Very good pizzeria with really friendly employees and generous pizzas, nothing to complain about, I recommend!
Very good pizza, the tomato sauce is delicious and the ingredients are fresh
With over fifty years in operation, you know they have to be good. Their dough is handmade and especially good. I also think that they use very high quality cheeses and very fresh toppings. I have tried many of their varieties and, frankly, like them all. Staff is very friendly and the eat in area is plain and functional. Nothing better that eating in a pizzeria with the aroma and noise of a busy joint. We only eat in or take out. Tried the Uber delivery twice and it sucked both times. Never again. Great food, great atmosphere and i genuine product. Highly recommend.
First time here and I will definitely be back. What a great experience and wonderful pizza. The staff was friendly and super helpful. As a new customer I was a little unsure of what to order and they helped me pick out two delicious pizzas for my family and myself to enjoy.
This pizza is so good. My son loves it.
Thanks to a tweet from Jon Kay we visited for the first time. Bought a couple pizzas and thoroughly enjoyed them!!! Suffice to say, we will be back!!!
I ve been getting pizza here since the 90s when Angelo was the owner. Same pies except stingy on cheese now, get extra cheese. Solid 4.5. My photo was taken after we ate two slices in the car on way home . Just can t resist. Medium house special (pep, onions, green pepper, mushrooms & bacon) with extra cheese $33 (cash only). Excellent old school pizza, consistent with pies all the time. Get well done. I still cook it a bit in a 425° oven for 7 minutes. But that s personal choice. Cheaper for pickup then delivery.
Small business, Pick Up only, can call ahead( if necessary), Old Style Stone Oven Baked, prices are reasonable . I added extra cheese.
Great pizza and fantastic staff love to see family run business keep those great pizza going .
This place is the best!
Absolutely delicious, the Angry Bee was like no other pizza I have ever had!! Hats off to tge owner!!
Love thier pizzas!
My sister and I love the pizza!! it was our first time eating from there and it was fantastic!! So fresh and delicious!! I would order it again!!
Too expensive, 29.00, for a large pizza with two toppings, dough is still great, though I think it is out of my league as far as price goes. I have been a customer of this place for 57 years and now not so much, nothing lasts forever. Enjoy
We love pizza in this household. Its something almost sacred to us. And this is a *proper* pie. Their homemade sauce is perfect. Tangy, flavourful, but not too sweet or salty. We got the House Special. Fresh toppings. Excellent pepperoni. Wonderful crust (on the thin side with a nice crisp outer). Theyve got great veggie options, and some really creative pizzas on the menu as well (looking at you, Angry Bee) This was our first time ordering from there, and it certainly wont be out last. Cash only, ATM on site.
Great place
Its real pizza! Loved it. Its a must try.
Ive been ordering from Danforth Pizza house for over 15 years, when the son took over and fancied up the place, the only thing they kept was the quality of the pizza. I moved to the west end 10 years ago, I I still make the trip about once a month. Ive been spoiled
Super!
Classic old school pizza, they way it should be. I feel old saying this but back in the day most pizza joints were family run affairs without a corporate headquarters selling them commercially made ingredients and telling how to make pizzas . Danforth Pizza House is a family run business and they use homemade ingredients. It is that simple. If you want a pizza cheap and fast, don t go there. If you want real food, you know where to go.
Sadly, Not to our taste at all.
I really enjoyed the egg pide, the pizza was good but left something to be desired
Forget the fast food assembly type pizza places. Danforth pizza house, in my opinion, is the ultimate in the art of gourmet pizza that will make you crave and fall in love with pizza all over again. You owe it to yourself to try it, if you already havent.
Finally found the best tasting pizza in Toronto. Well done guys!
Great pizza, prices and service.
Fantastic pizza! Cheese is on top of the ingredients like a Montreal-style pizza. Very nice char and the cheese is beautifully browned. If you re a barely melted cheese on your pie type of person, isn t the place for you. Ordered the OG pepperoni, mushrooms, and green peppers (pizza toute garnie) and it s the best pizza on the west side of the Ottawa River. Bonus: delicious the next day when cold, too.
Havent Ben there for 10 years, but let me tell you that it tastes just as good as it did 20 years ago
Delicious pizza
Pizza worth getting over all the other big pizza chains in the area
Had the house special, looked delicious but was underwhelming. Crispy crust but the toppings were undercooked. The green peppers were still raw.
Amazing pizza and super friendly staff. Cash only so come prepared.
The Pizza overall was O.K. ... it was sparsely topped, the tomato sauce was nothing special and the dough was a bit sweet. Then when we saw the prices and it was over... a pizza margarita for $25. Other pizzas up to $40...all with no indoor seating and only 2 tables outside. Unfortunately, the pizza is definitely not worth the price.
Tried it for the first time. Amazing experience
Visited Danforth Pizza House today for the first time after many recommendations from our students, and it was a awesome experience from the moment I walked threw the door, I was made to feel like I was at home and part of the family, it was an amazing experience watching hand crafted Pizza being made, and the most important part the Pizza, from the crust to the crumbs it was worth ever bite. I definitely recommend Danforth Pizza House Delicious Hand Crafted Quilty Pizza, at very reasonable prices.
Not from this neighbourhood but were staying at an air bnb and needed a quick fix. It was delicious! The garlic knots were not my thing, but the pizza was excellent. My kids even ate it all and theyre picky with their pizza.
Went a while back and ordered for pick up and thought it was super fresh and delicious! Still was crispy on our way back home! The Butcher pizza was devoured in seconds by the meat eaters in my home and The Bianca was super fresh and filling, I enjoyed tasting the garlic and their arugula. Thank you so much!! So tasty!!
what an amazing pizza and great people makingn it all
One of the best pizzas in Toronto
Excellent pizza... very close to Montreal style... I would definitely go back. All Montrealers must try. You will not be disappointed....
Hands-down the best pizza in Ontario. The only comparable to Cape Breton pizza. Friendly staff and always cooked to perfection !
Very good pizza. Excellent. (If you like this style of pizza of course). Think: moreso like bakery style pizza in terms of taste, just elevated. Medium/traditional crust size. Nicely cooked with good crisp and undercarriage (see photo). Price is higher of course then your chain pizza, though not egregious for these days. Cash only for pickup (uber prices are materially higher and would presumably impact your rating/review). It will be a part of my take out/pizza rotation going forward for sure. Friendly/sociable owners on 1st impression.
Dont waste your time and money anywhere else, THIS IS IT, BEST PIZZA IN TORONTO, HANDS DOWN...
my go to pizza, the best in the city. always fresh and delicious. lovely customer service. very worth it.
Our pizza was black at the bottom, I call the restaurant, they looked at the photos and told me it was not burnt. Told me to tell them next time to not to brown my pizza. It looked burnt, and it tasted burnt. So if you don t like burnt pizza, don t buy from them.
I ordered online to pick up and when I got there was informed they re cash only. I can understand charging a fee to use credit, but to not take it at all, and not warn you is brutal. We don t carry cash/debit cards (and haven t for years!) so we had to go home and return. I reviewed their website and don t see anything warning of this. Sure is convenient that they have an ATM in house which I m sure they profit off of. The pizza is good, but it s seriously overpriced. Why not have a disclaimer when ordering so people can come prepared? SMH. Edit to add after their response: after searching, the only place this is listed is a drop down menu at checkout. However, it s not a mandatory step in the checkout process so it s very easy to miss. Other reviews have mentioned the same thing. They have a beautiful modern website it wouldn t be difficult to make this more obvious and save new customers an unexpected hassle.
It is an incredible experience to eat this pizza. I have been living in Toronto for 5 years and I have never found a rival to them, their flavor and combination, always on time and, above all, hot to enjoy with the family.
X-Large Pizza- pepperoni, green peppers, onions, and mushrooms were on this one. Very well made, can tell the passion they have on making each pizza. Very flavourful and fresh toppings. Cash only place FYI. I would recommend supporting this establishment for pizza rather then cheaper big pizza stores. Tastes better, costs a little bit more then compared to chain pizza joints, BUT worth every penny. Can t wait to order again !
I really used to love this place - they had the best and freshest pizza in town, but since they changed owners, it is just not the same. I was disappointed with the pizza quality and it has really gone downhill. I could get better tasting pizza for the same price just down the street. I also tried the garlic knots which were not good either. They were basically breadsticks in a soup of oil.
Very tasty pizza. It feels like homemade food where you can actually eat till you get full.
So delicious! Its not Neapolitan style, so dont compare it to Neapolitan places. Apples and oranges you know? If you want a big delicious pizza freshly made this is the place to go. The cheese is particularly good here. In all of my orders they have never made a mistake, well done
As always a great pie. Lots of cheese and right amount of char on the crust.
Really amazing pizza. Got the margherita and was blown away. The cheese and the dough was great but the real show stealer was the sauce. Highly recommend
Greatest pizza in the city of Toronto by far. They pile on the toppings and dont cheap out at all. Pizza weights a ton and the taste is out of this world. Its Pizza like you remember it when you were a kid. Family run business that always welcomes you with a smile.
This pizza is something special. I recommend the Angry Bee.
Best pizza in the City.
Great pizza, absolutely delicious but the Uber charge was obscene. Both my brother and I immediately canceled our uber eats account after their highway robbery...during a pandemic. If youre going to get a pizza, do pickup.
Ordered The House Special pizza from the Danforth Pizza House ... Absolutely AWESOME! BEST PIZZA EVER! Ill be back...
Consistently delicious. One of Torontos great pizzerias.
This has been my Friday pizza spot for my whole life. My grandma loved this place. It warms my heart with nostalgia. There is no pizza like Danforth pizza! It s the best I ve ever had!!
Very old school style Pizzeria take out only apparently this is one of the oldest lasting pizzerias in Toronto same location same name. They have some classic items in the shop including the original sign and the original window. They use the same recipe for when they first opened very friendly owners The pizza was fantastic it received a hi score I do pizza reviews around the city of Toronto and this is my 68th pizza spot. LOOK FOR ME ON YOU TUBE TORONTO PIZZA REVIEW
Best pizza in the city! Love the new owners too! ZHTO ELLAS!!
The best
Great za, good ppl working there. Happy to support local.
Im new to the area and was looking for my new go-to pizza spot and I think I may have found it! Ive now had two pies from Danforth Pizza House (The Pizza Queen & The Angry Bee) and both were delicious. The Angry Bee was especially delicious 10/10. The crust, sauce, and toppings all tasted like high quality ingredients and theyre generous with their toppings. I found a slice from a 14 pie to be quite filling. The thickness is also perfect for me, you can pick it up and eat it with ease but it isnt too thick for a traditional style pizza. Their pizza is more expensive than your typical fast food pizza places but its worth it given the higher quality. Overall, I think the price is a fair value. The folks who work (and own?) the place were very friendly and Im happy to support this local small business. I highly recommend!
Great pizza!!!
Very nice good food
The pizza here is amazing!!! The dough, sauce, cheese and toppings are outstanding. Made to perfection. Great little spot, very friendly staff. You wont be disappointed. And easy to find becuase of the great signage out front.
Best Pizza on the Danny! If you gotta wait, so what! Its worth the wait. These guys step with the Big Dawgs, when it comes to Pizza.
Called this place 25 times cause we ve been dying to try it. Only to realize they were closed during working hours. SMH.
Still one of the best pizzas in town.nice that the new owner is still using the original owners recipe for there pizza, and keeping his legacy.
Love this place. Great pizza. At least once a week theres a guy who orders a pizza, walks out the door and then tucks it up under his arm like its a newspaper. For sure everything slides off the pizza inside the box. That really has nothing to do with Danforth pizza House but its just so weird and seems like it should be some sort of crime to ruin such a great pizza like.
Great pizza.
We only order from here, the pizza is fantastic every time! The owners care and it shows, what a lovely family. Id give them a 10-star rating!
This is one of the best pizza joints in the city. Staff are super friendly and service is quick. FYI: Only accept cash but has bank machine in store.
Best pizza great variety and wonderful service!!! My family has been going there since 1968
Great tasting pizza! A bit expensive but when you taste that dough and the sauce it you get over it! Lets support our cultural family owned businesses!
Ordered pizza and garlic knots on Uber eats, and i didnt receive the garlic knots.
Very decent pie, but when you get extra cheese, youd expect it to go to the edge of the crust.
Amazing pie! Best pizza in the city. Family owned and operated. Incredibly friendly.
Very friendly staff, good crust thickness, delicious taste :)
Some of the best pizza in the city.
Go here all the time. Good pizza family run. Cant go wrong with the angey bee.
Nice people
Used to get pizza there when I was kid on the 60s dont hesitate awesome 2nd generation family run da best
Great old style pizza
Small but nice place. Simple but familial ambience. Staff is friendly. Pizzas are delicious!
Love the pizza. Friendly people.
Our fav pizza in Toronto! Always hot and fresh when we pick it up and consistent quality every time!
For those of you that dont know what a real pizza tastes like, you really need to try one of these. Hes been here, eating the best Pizza in town, for all these years, for a good reason. Tom
Great food and family owed great people
House special pizza is unreal. Bit pricey but worth it.
Definitely gone down hill over the years.. overpriced and pretending to be something it WAS.
If you like a gooey Montreal-style pizza this is the best in Toronto. Delicious and totally satisfying, bravo!!
The most disgusting pizza that u can ever eat. The lady doesnt wash her hands after taking a dump
Best pizza in Toronto
Tasty pizza but no where near montreal style pizza
Its a 3.5 Star place but Yeah. The pizza is Good. Nice topping distribution. Good amount of Cheese, nice crunch on the Crust. However the sauce is bland, the sausage on the pizza needs seasoning and flavour. Also docked a point for being cash only for walkins during a pandemic.
If you live near the Danforth, this is and should always be your local pizza place. If you live somewhere else, find it and order it. You re welcome.
These guys are artists. Best pizza in the city.
Amazing pizza. New favorite spot for sure!
I was happy when Libretto moved in. Lovely place. Then recently I went down the street and had a pizza with my wife and child last week. Mind Blown Like the very best New York pizza, made with love from a wonderful family that knows exactly how to please the palette. Very Highly Recommended
Cape Bretoners: If youre looking for the taste of pizza youre used to at home, you should try this place out. Closest Ive found up here so far.
Best pizza in town great staff
High quality ingredients, amazing crust, fantastic pizza. BE WARNED CASH ONLY.
If you dont think this is the best pizza place in toronto, or at least east of yonge, you are welcome to put your dukes up and prepare to defend your life. the Angry Bee is one of the best eating experiences ive had in my life and if it came down to it, i would sacrifice my life for the kind and industrious people who made it for me. also if you arent tipping at least 10% on takeout and 20% on delivery youre a rat to me!!!!!
Great pizza - unique toppings, traditional crust, perfect for a little oil on the end, and the right amount of sauce (just enough to taste it). Friendly people! This is one of few places that I get the curated pizza experience instead of getting my own usual topping choices. The Angry Bee is a work of art, and the House Special is a crowd pleaser. Well worth the wait & price.
One of the best pizzas in Toronto, hands-down. Very unique options plus more standard offerings. Good ingredients and great dough. A little bit more expensive than your average pizza place but I imagine thats due to the quality of the ingredients. A must try for any Toronto pizza lover!
Great pizza place - been coming here for years.
Amazing every time. Hot, fresh ingredients and over all great service. Thank you
Our go-to pizza place, where they make old school pizzas with a twist. We usually get a custom pizza. The crust is crispy without being oily and firmer than your average Neopolatan style pizza. Toppings are fresh. Tip: if you can, order for pick up as their prices are WAY cheaper by going direct, and they are cash only.
Fantastic pizza and super nice staff. 1000% would recommend!
Eat this Pizza Seriously. It is in the top 5 pizza places in Toronto and up there with Descendent Detroit pizza. Totally different style. Crispy airy crust and the home made sauce has the perfect zang to it. The topping offerings on their signature pies compliment each other extremely well. The Angry Bee was a taste game changer. If you are tired of Pizza Pizza and Dominoes, start by stepping up your pizza game here. You will not be disappointed.
