At Levant (not) Pizza, we pride ourselves on crafting exceptional (not) pizza using time-honored artisanal techniques. Our process begins with the creation of our signature focaccia, made from the finest "00" Italian flour and cold-proofed for an impressive four days. This results in a sumptuously thick yet incredibly airy dough, which is then expertly pressed into a well-oiled pan and left to rest overnight before being baked to perfection. The outcome? Our renowned light and crispy focaccia that tastes like it came out of a sicilian restaurant, the cornerstone of our mouthwatering creations.
Nothing like their IG. Got the pepperoni pizza. Barely any cheese. Mediocre presentation. Dough was nice but not as airy as i expected. The hype definitely was not substantiated. Garlic sauce is nice. I think if they focus on food consistency this could be really good
Very very good! Blend of Palestinian flavours and pizza. Focaccia base is very very good. Appetizers were also delicious. Our favourite was the potato mushroom pizza.
We went in by accident. We thought it was a real accident when reading what it wrote on the menu because what we wanted was a pizza meal. It turned out that the dough was amazing. It’s different from what we had before. The pizza bread was made in a honeycomb . Their garlic confit dipping is great. Must try. It makes the meal an experience. We recommend
New favorite spot 😍 delicious food, super friendly service, and welcoming atmosphere. The dips are full of flavour and great texture. The (not) pizza is so flavourful. We tried the hot pepperoni and the sfiha (which was a heartwarming taste of home). Can't wait to come back!
I would honestly eat from Levant everyday if I could! My fave is the Spicy Shatta Bomba pizza - the flavour is incredible and I literally tell everyone I know about how delicious it is. I also love ordering it as mix and match with the Formaggi. I've ordered delivery/takeout from here countless times, even ordering a bunch of mix and match pizzas for a birthday party - which everyone adored. I've dined in once with 3 friends (1 vegan friend who had plenty to eat!) and we had a lovely time, our server was super friendly and welcoming - we really enjoyed chatting with them. All the other staff were really welcoming as well. Will need to come back to dine in again asap! Love supporting this Palestinian & Lebanese business 🇵🇸❤️🇱🇧
I've been here several times, discovered through some events they held with Yelp in the past. I always recommend their Shawarma Pizza, a side Arugula Salad, and a Tiramisu Kunafa. In a recent event, they provided some off-menu items like the Syrian-style shawarma pizza which was amazing and scrumptious, being a symphony of flavors. The combination of familiar ingredients came together in an unexpected, exciting, and explosive way for my taste buds. The kanafa bite was perfectly crunchy, light, and not overly sweet, a mini version of the Kunafa. I only wish it was on the menu so I could order more. I also ordered the arugula salad, which was a refreshing balance to their cheesy garlic focaccia which I had ordered for the first time as I was with a friend who was curious for it. Per the restaurant's advice, I high recommend reserving a table, as the place is sometimes packed! Despite being busy, the atmosphere is warm and intimate. The staff are incredibly nice, working their hardest, and making the experience even better with their attentiveness despite the constant flow of customers and guests. Overall, as someone who lives in the neighborhood, I highly recommend this place for bringing friends or just grabbing a slice to go.
Levant Pizza isn’t your typical pizza place where bold flavors and distinct characteristics hit you from the first bite. Instead, it’s a journey for your palate, with subtle nuances that reveal themselves as you savor each mouthful. What stands out initially is the beautifully chewy and airy dough, but as you keep going, the delicate blend of spices and the harmony of the toppings come alive. During my first visit, I tried the OG Shawarma, Upside Down Maqluba, and for dessert, the Traditional Kunafa. I also sipped on their Hibiscus Refresher, which had a surprisingly complex flavor reminiscent of a well-aged wine. Compared to other pizzas made with 00 flour, Levant Pizza’s dough maintains the right amount of chewiness but leans towards a softer texture. It almost feels like a different flour blend was used, and I mean that in the best way possible. The dough’s thickness, characteristic of Sicilian pizza, was spot on and very satisfying. The OG Shawarma had a pleasant balance of flavors with its chewy and soft texture, complemented by a thoughtful mix of spices and well-chosen toppings. Although it’s more intense compared to the Upside Down Maqluba, it’s restrained enough for those new to Mediterranean spices. Upside Down Maqluba is now my personal favorite. The bright flavors, balanced with the richness of the cheese, and the slightly charred roasted cauliflower and smoked eggplant, were absolutely divine. The garlic confit and the labneh creme tied it all together beautifully, creating a dish that felt both familiar and exotic at the same time. The soft, creamy texture of the Kunafa, enhanced by the gentle sweetness of the rose and orange blossom syrup, made for a comforting finish that contrasted wonderfully with the bold flavors of the pizzas. I can’t end this review without mentioning the Hibiscus Refresher. It was an unexpected delight, with a complex flavor profile that was both refreshing and sophisticated, almost like enjoying a glass of mature wine without the alcohol. If I had one suggestion, it would be to amplify these unique combinations even further. The subtlety and restraint are admirable, but in a world dominated by fast food and instant gratification, some might find this a bit challenging to appreciate at first. This is a pizza meant to be savored slowly, not hurried through. Overall, Levant Pizza is a fantastic choice for those looking to explore refined and innovative flavors. Just be prepared to take your time and let each bite surprise you.
I like the idea of mixing Middle Eastern and Italian food through sandwiches, focaccia, and pizzas. The honey cauliflower was a little too sweet in my opinion, can use a little bit more balance on the sour and savory flavors. I really liked the lamb Shawarma sandwich. Very rich and filling, with a lot of olive oil. I ordered the small size and it was enough. Convenient indoor and outdoor seating areas. All their meat is Halal. This place is also owned by Lebanese and a Palestinian.
Loved the pizza here when visiting Toronto!
Love this place, great atmosphere its a must visit of you are ever in downtown!
Nothing like what s advertised on IG. I was really looking forward to the food from here but the quality of the food was just awful. The pizza was burnt, chicken wasn t marinated well and their hot pepperoni (which has so many on them in the pics) had only 3-4 per square. The beef sandwich was so soggy and not crispy at all. The one thing that was amazing was their garlic sauce! Likely wouldn t return again until there is some better quality control.
Stopped in for a slice! The cheese pizza is delicious, the people are lovely and the location is near a subway. Poif!
I had the half and half small special today - ordered the Spicy Shatta Bomba and Upside down Maqluba, with some garlic dipping sauce. Everything was so tasty and filling. Was supposed to be a side dish for the family, ended up as my main meal. Service was lovely and very helpful in giving me advice as to which kinds of non-pizza to try. Ill have to go earlier on the day sometime and maybe try out their 2 for $10 Large pizza slices.
The pizza you make is good but make sure when you make it spicy you let your customers know about it. My son had it and he cried for 15 minutes, if i knew it would be too spicy I wouldnt have gotten it. Just like an indian restaurent, you need to ask first. I understand that when you get too good to go bags its a surprise bag but it would be great to know if its too spicy. We got 3 boxes and we could only ate one of them. It really bothered my son. Keep in mind thay families including kids use too good to go bags. Goodluck and I wont return.
Id kill for these people I was hungry they fed me i was in need and they provided they gave me warmth and water when I was cold and dry they went above and beyond for a mere too good too go order and Ill never eat pizza at a different place ever again
Delicious food! Tasty drinks and the service was lovely
Food took extremely long. The roasted pepper and tomato dip tasted like salsa. Ive had better. Pricey. Food
Beautiful place. Clean environment. Wonderful Palestinian food!
Probably the best restaurant in Bloorcourt. Delicious take on pizza, great portions Vegetarian options: The spicy shatta bomb Dietary restrictions: Lots of veggie options and they just added a gluten-free pizza
I would ignore the 1 star reviews completely, seems like there s some trolls on the internet. This place is legit and serving good eats, italian middle eastern fusion done right!!
cute spot with amazing pizza and aaaaaamazing kunafa
This will be my go-to spot after Long & McQuade. A very small and quaint resto with what seems to be run by one person answering phones, preparing the food, etc. I had the Aleppo Chicken Shawarma Sandwich and my friend had the Halloumi and Caramelized Onion Sandwich and both were delicious! The slight crunch to the focaccia, to the tangy and slightly spicy seasonings were AWESOME! My hubby, who does all the cooking at home, said he has to up his cooking game for me (he doesnt but Ill let him believe he has to). Definitely worthwhile to get off the Ossington station and walk a block for a visit to Levant -- excellent food! Vegetarian options: My friend had the vegetarian (not sure if its full vegan) and she found the sandwich quite meaty even though there was no meat.
Nice place! Thanks for your lovely pizza...
Pizza was yuck
This place rules! Syrian Chicken Shawarma Pizza somehow topped the OG shawarma pizza
Airy bread meets very eclectic and tasty pizza toppings. Its so good..their kunafa is fresh and great too
Simply Delicious
One of my fave spots in the neighbourhood!
Nicest people and best food! I first visited years ago, and they ve managed to become one of the few newsletters I actually stay up to date on. Aside from their delicious pizza and dips, their commitment to growth and transparency is very admirable! Great place.
Great food and experience. Some nice vegan options. Thank you!
This picture doesn t do the (not) pizza I had last night justice - it was so good! I got the Shawarma (not) pizza and the Moroccan Mule. The atmosphere is cozy and relaxing and the server was kind and attentive. I will definitely be coming back soon. Dietary restrictions: Options for dairy-free/vegan folks
Be careful Delivery drivers!! For delivery guys not to have the same experience with me. This restaurant prohibit bike drivers picking up. But you know store can t choose the types of vehicles we have. So app can t allocate the order only to car drivers. And store says 14-inch size pizza bag is required even though their delivery settings are allow to accept delivery driver not having pizza bag To the restaurant, If you want to designate the drivers only those who have a car and 14inch pizza bag, contact delivery support to change settings as soon as possible. Don t bother delivery driver anymore.
It felt SO good to have pizza WITH FLAVOUR! every bite i took made me say wow. Thw doigh itself is superior to most of the pizzas ive had in toronto, but the choicea of toppibgs and spices Levant has is really on another level.
Cannot say enough about this place - Food amazing, staff and service amazing .. will be back !!!!
Ive wanted to come here for some time. Amazing food. Laid back, casual and welcoming atmosphere. I tried the hummus bianco, harissa cauliflower, and upside down maqluba pizza. The foccacia-like zaatar breadsticks were so fresh and delicious. Five stars all around. Add Levant to your must-try list. You wont be disappointed. Vegetarian and vegan options, too.
I picked up an order from Too Good To Go for $7, and to my surprise, it was the worst experience I ve ever had. Just look at the pizza: hard dough with nothing on it. Everything was so tough; it was like a piece of cardboard. I threw it away. I can t believe they are serving this.
Great pizza, the shawarma pizza in particular was divine. The atmosphere was small but intimate, and the service was wonderful. My friend and I were there for easily over two hours catching up, yet their service never rushed us or made us feel like we had to go. Be sure to try their tiramisu kunafa its delicious!
Levant Pizza on Bloor West is a hidden gem for anyone craving authentic, flavorful, and fresh Mediterranean-inspired pizza. The crust is perfectly crisp yet light, and the toppings are clearly made with high-quality ingredients, bringing out bold flavors in every bite. The unique selection offers something for everyone... from traditional margherita to innovative, mouth-watering Middle Eastern-inspired options. The atmosphere is cozy, with friendly staff who make you feel right at home. You can tell they genuinely care about delivering a great experience. It s the kind of place you ll want to keep coming back to, whether it s for a quick slice or a full meal with friends. Highly recommend if you re in the area and looking to try something deliciously different!
This (not) pizza was a moan-out-loud experience. Complex flavours and unfettered Toronto vibe. A must-see in the city.
I came here with my parents. We tried the mix and match large with Meat Habibi, Spicy Shatta Bomba, and Formaggi. We got traditional kunafa for dessert. All of it was really good and so well made!
Amazing food, fresh. Great convo
Some of the best pizza in the city! Cant wait to go back.
Delicious (not) pizza! Love that they have a number of vegan options. Would recommend the Upside Down Maqluba and Spicy Shatta Bomba.
really good food. unique. and the owners and people working there are really nice. great food and cause to support. Dietary restrictions: meat is halal here as well
Delicious food, and friendly and knowledgeable staff! Always have a good time here and recommend it to all visitors to Toronto.
I celebrated my birthday here last year and had a really great time! The variety of pizzas is the best, and many of them taste delicious.
The hot honey pizza and the dips are soooo good.
So so delicious. I ve dined in at this restaurant a few times and had such a lovely and cozy experience. I ve also ordered delivery about a dozen times at least. Recent favourites are the sfiha and shatta bomba pizza with the harissa honey dip. SO GOOD. Also can t go wrong with the pepperoni. Must try, at least once in person too.
Has a different touch the pizza with its focaccia bread. Sandwiches are really great, do try the Shawarma sandwich, was so delicious that we forgot to take a picture. Vegetarian options: Eggplant pizza is a good one too
The vegan pizzas were Dietary restrictions: Great vegan options Food : 5/5 |
Great food, great place. The space is tiny but its amazing how many people can fit. Takeout also an option.
Great food, really friendly staff. Theyre serving up flavour combos that youre not gonna find on pizza anywhere else. They get a lot of takeout orders (makes sense, the space is small), so you might have to wait slightly longer for your food than youre used to, but its well worth it. Theyre a small operation and everything they put out is top quality.
Amazing and unique food, very kind staff, and quite affordable for the quality.
Levant makes very unique pizzas and they taste great. I was happy that we were able to mix and match and get 3 different styles within 1 pie. If you want pizza but want to try something different this is the place to go, I would say its a sicily pizza with an Arab touch. Food
Excellent pizza with interesting and unique flavours. We had a small group for a casual birthday dinner and enjoyed the casual vibe.
Ordered a vegan pizza with delivery! Absolutely delish! Food
Our group of four loved the pizza. We ordered a large that we did half and half, and a small. That was plenty to fill all of us. We got the shawarma, meat habibi and honey pepperoni.
Delicious
Terrible food. Terrible service. Terrible location. Terrible crust. Terrible seasoning. Disgusting.
Best service, amazing food and love the halloumi sandwich!
Every time I order from here I know I m going to be happy with how good it is! Great flavours and taste. Crust is wonderfull!b
Delicious pizza and interesting flavours. Incredible owners and employees!
Great and unique selection. Love the mix and match. Thanks for having vegan options and for being so kind :)!!
Pizza was great, the confit garlic dip was so good!!
The pizzas, appetizers and dessert here are delicious. Ive most recently tried their Shawarma sandwich and it was superb. Not to mention the many times Ive ordered pizza (a must try is the sumac chicken one and the shawarma) and kunafa (which I think is the best in Toronto!) The ordering in experience: I constantly order in from here and the food has always arrived well packaged and warm, mainly due to the restaurants policy of only allowing delivery with heated bags. Thank you for that!
Absolutely delicious and so fresh! We catered food from Levant Pizza for a work event and received rave reviews from everyone! Definitely a crowd pleaser!
Incredible food and incredible service. Everyone was so kind and the pizza was exceptional. Will come back again
Amazing service and amazing food!
100% would reccommend. Theres no other pizza like it in Canada. The hot honey beef pepperoni was out of this world delicious, must try!
10/10 all around!!
My favourite not pizza.
Their food is delicious with really unique flavours. The labneh is so good. There are so many good choices for pizza and you can mix and match so you don t miss out! Vegetarian options: There good vegetarian pizza options and the dips add a lot of variety for vegetarians
Best pizza in Toronto. The staff and service are always the best. I love bringing my friends here as it s a place where everyone feels welcome. We love their sandwiches and you must try the knafe. 10/10 would recommend.
Best pizza! Best customer service. Highly recommend!!!
Amazing food and great service!
Super friendly folks, *delicious* pizza-ish foods easily modified for a range of dietary needs. Big fan of the OG Shawarma but Meat Habibi is also yum. When my partner went to pick up an order for a party on a hot day earlier this year, they even offered a free ice-cold sparkling water to him. <3 Really appreciate their presence in this city.
Great take on pizza and was super yummy
Vegetarian options: Veg options are plentiful! Parking: Municipal parking nearby. Wheelchair accessibility: Two stairs up from the street, very narrow spaces. Not recommended for wheelchair users.
Amazing food, good portions and beautiful atmosphere Vegetarian options: Vegetarian and vegan options Food : 5/5 |
Changing my 5* review to 1 as I just ordered from Uber my used to be favorite shawarma pizza. What a disappointment again. Last time I recommended that my friend orders for an event and food wasnt what good either. I thought might be due to large order. But ordered again and its even worse. Pie was overcooked, dry, no ingredients, meat is dry and actually tasted week old. Used to love this place souch and now I think Ill give up on it. After owners response I did email the details of what was wrong with my order but didnt hear back. Nice try
I could honestly eat the Sfiha every day of the week if my wife would let me. Absolutely love this place. Also recommend the Egglant Parmigiana.
Pretty disappointed by the TGTG order. The first time ordered it was dry and a complete brick. Thought I would give it another try and it doesn t seem much better. Cost wise you re better off just buying their normal stuff. Feels like I paid $7 for a stale piece of bread unfortunately. It would ve been better to just discard the food than to make some money off of some uninspiring leftovers.
My review is not on the pizza as I haven t tried it. But a couple weeks ago I stopped by because they had Knafeh cookies and I wanted to grab one as it was on my way home. I stopped in at 11:35 and on their website it states they open at 11:30. When I go in the line cook who was incredibly nice said that he can t put any orders in because he s not the cashier and they don t start serving until 12 which I was confused because they open at 11:30. He apologized multiple times that he couldn t put the order through and tried coming up with many solutions. I think by 11:45 after we had sorted out a solution someone else finally came in but regardless if you can t put in order until 12 don t open at 11:30.
Pizza s are unique but I wouldn t say it was the best pizza I ve had! Thoroughly enjoyed the burrata salad and the focaccia is delicious.
The food is delicious. The slightly different quality and taste is something to try, a great blend of flavours. Delicious!
I have twice tried to eat at this establishment in the last three weeks. On my way going down to the ex I decided to stop in for slices as I am not from the area and have heard good things about it . Opened at 11:30 was informed though they would have no pizza until after 12. I mean if you re going to open at 11:30 be ready to be able to serve a customer at that time. Thought I d give them another chance and went in again, this time at 1pm. Show up and the restaurant is closed. Had to go to social media to say they weren t open til 3:30 that day because they were out of some things. Brutal. Travelled an hour each way for literally no reason. In reply to the owners response: It s fine that slices are not a regular menu item, but what I was told is that the ovens weren t up to temperature. This was 10 minutes after ordering, so why not have them turned on earlier so they are ready. If I ordered a full menu pie at 11:30 that day it would have been the same issue. And while I can understand a delivery issue might have left you without ingredients, not everyone checks their social media page prior to going into a restaurant or a store, you expect it to be open if Google says it s open.
Super delicious! You must try the pizza! AND DONT FORGET THE GARLIC DIP!
I can t believe I am about to say this but I had Toronot s most unique pizza ever and this is everything I thought but first welcome to Levant Pizza located in Toronto s Bloorcourt neighbourhood at Ossington. This pizza place has been all over my for you page for more than one reason. What makes them different if that their take on Italian pizza with a twist of Palestinian flavours! So let s eat shall we? To start with we ordered the creamiest hummus with freshly baked garlic & za atar focaccia sticks ive ever had, this basically just melted in my mouth, the Lavantine Burrata so sooo delish! Especially these garlic breadsticks literally slapped! & Lebanese Arugula Salad was so wholesome! Can literally eat this everyday! & as for the (not) pizzas at Levant you can mix and match the pizzas of your choice! We opted for The Bianca which was basically garlic potatoes and blue cheese & The OG Shawarma which has parsley pesto, lamb, tahini, shallots, arugula, tomatoes, holy moly guacamole!! What makes them special is that the pizza dough is foccacia and the flavours are so unique. Perfect blend of Palestine & Italian flavours! Highly recommend it!! . . . Details - Read Below . . . - 899 Bloor St W Toronto. - Hummus Rosso, Levantine Burrata, Lebanese Arugula Salad, The Bianca and The OG Shawarma - MOST UNIQUE PIZZA EVER! - Special mention to Nadar for being so warm and kind to welcome us and help us choose the best Levant has to offer! - Will definitely be back!!
The halloumi sandwich is EXCELLENT
Pizza wasn t the greatest.
Everything was very tasty and beautifully presented.
Such great portions and great service! The staff were very nice and accommodating for our group. The pizzas all had such a unique taste and were very affordable! Definitely a great spot to check out!
The food was good. The kanafa was amazing. But it was a dirty small restaurant. The weather was good so we sat outside which definitely improved the experience
Great food and friendly staff in a nice and cozy spot. We tried two small mix and match (not) pizzas of their most popular flavors: OG Shawarma & upside down maqluba, and a hot honey pepperoni & meat habibi. All of them really good, and especially the OG Shawarma with the garlic confit dip add on. Well definitely revisit to try the other flavors too!
Pizza arrived splattered all over the inside of the box, flavour was off, we didn t receive 2 dips we ordered.
I order a muffaletta and eggplant parm sandwich from them on uber eats and both were fantastic! I will make them a regular spot as it is a delicious take out. I can only imagine how good the food is on site. I will 100% eat there again . thanks Levant pizza!
It is a bit if a hidden but cozy gem, so if you are a group of four or more planning on visiting them, I suggest making reservations. Their food was fresh and delicious and big portions. We got the Muskhan and Meat Habibi not pizza. We also got their Laventine Burratta. They have halal meat available so that was a plus. They also had some amazing mocktails! I got to try out the Phony Negroni and my sister got the the Hibiscus refsher. Both werw delicious. Overall will make the trip from Brampton again.
We dined in and had the Roasted Red Pepper & Tomato, shawarma and Upside Down Maqluba. Delicious food, cozy vibes and reasonably priced. The decor is on point and the staff are super friendly. Unfortunately, the store is a little small and doesn t have a high chair. This might not be the place for you if you are planning on coming with a large group. The restaurant is also not wheelchair accessible. There s no ramp. Kid-friendliness: No high chair available Wheelchair accessibility: Not wheelchair accessible. There isn t a ramp
Got the shawarma pizza to go and it was truly delicious. Staff are also so lovely!! Cant wait to come back soon
Disappointing.
Food was very good and the lady who served us was sweet
Be Aware, DIRTY Food. I saw the older lady thats serving the food that was is in today at around 5:45pm not once wash her hand and she went to the bathroom, handled cash and was twisting her hair, not once cleaned her hand and then she handles food, I even found hair in my food, clearly hers as she was twisting it while food laid out on the counter infront of her.Eat at your own risk, never again for me. Its disgusting. My husband had take out and he is not feeling well. Sweating and stomach ache. We just hope for the best and its not food poisoning. Unbelievable it should be shut down.
I just went in for pizza in the afternoon and I wouldnt recommend anyone to go there. The place was unclean even the table and chairs ontop of that the lady serving food need some serious training on hygiene. She has an unpleasant order and not only that handles food with bare hands while her hand has been everywhere and not cleaned and good luck suggesting or complaining about that cause she cursed out more than one customer while I was there. Best you avoid it. I was grossed out by everything there. Gross server, place and food. Best to avoid it.
Wonderful kind service, really really delicious pizza!
This incredible pizza has the best flavours and our server was incredibly helpful and friendly at making recommendations for our party and timed things to make sure we had enough time to get to our show nearby. The Palestinian flavours were incredible.
Amazing people, ambiance, and food! The people working here have the kindest soul. On top of that, their food is soooo good This has easily become my #1 craving
Amazing food; outstanding service!
I ve been to Levant several times and it s always been amazing!
This place rules.
Five stars all the way. Uniquely made and such delicious (not) pizza. We had a Salad, sandwich, pizza and tea with dessert....everything was so well made fresh and tasty. Happy to support this restaurant.
Wow wow wow. So good! Food is 10/10, and the staff are super nice and accommodating. If you want to dine in, note that the space is pretty small so you definitely have to book ahead - but the cozy vibes are great.
Loved the food :)
Yummmm
One of my favorite spots in the city. The cheesecake is to die for
Don t listen to the bad reviews, its trash. This place is absolutely incredible place to visit - outstanding food full of flavour, the staff is incredible and they helped me make a decision as there was too many good options. I love the owner, he incorporates his his culture and chikdhood memories into his cooking and how he is so supportive of the local community and gives back.
The food here is one of the best in the city. And (this coming from another server in the industry) everyone who works here provides amazing, one of a kind service. I always recommend Levant to friends looking for new spots or out of towners!
Genuinely this is some of the best food in all of Bloorcourt, if not even in the whole of the Downtown! The hummus? To die for. The focaccia? Can t get enough! I remember back a while ago I went in right before close after one of the toughest working days I had to that point, and genuinely the food made my night so much better. Thank you for the wonderful service every time!
Delicious food and amazing service. Highly recommend.
Pizza like I have never had before, you folks really take it to another level! Happy to support a Palestinian business as well :) Vegetarian options: Plenty! Was very impressed
Genuinely the best pizza in the city. I go out of my way to stop here on my way home way more than I should. Ive been making focaccia for as long as I cant remember and it doesnt even come close to their dough. The vegan options are amazing too!
Cute little pizza shop, really delicious pizzas and specialty drinks. The shwarma and Sfiha pizzas are excellent. Servers go above and beyond to make it a good experience. Make a reservation as they get busy!
Super adorable spot with great staff, warm atmosphere, and delicious food. We tried 3 different slices of pizza and washed it down with an IPA. Will definitely stop in when in the area.
Stellar food with incredible flavours. Tops! Highly recommended! 5x Vegetarian options: Vegetarian options are AS GOOD as the meat options! Food : 5/5 |
ABSOLUTELY WONDERFUL FLAVORS!!!
Food is always fresh, tastes amazing and great service highly recommend
Pay no mind to the negative reviews- they re disgruntled UberEats delivery drivers!! I placed a large order from Levant Pizza for a corporate event of 30 People. Pizza, Sandwiches and Salads, everything was SO FRESH, HOT when it arrived, and SO Delicious! The entire event raved about the food! I ve had the pleasure of tasting Levant food at a few corporate events now and it never disappoints.
Got two Muffuletta sandwich and they were both so incredibly salty that we had to toss away after 3 bites. I get some places make things on the saltier side but this sand was on anotjer level, felt like I was going to throw up if I conusmed it. Highly recommend the chef tasting the recipe before serving it.
Levant is one of the best cozy little spots to fill up your stomach with a very delicious food ,I always recommend it to my friends and I highly recommend their appetizers and the chicken sumac pizza.
Best not pizza in Toronto, a must try
Really solid! Interesting focaccia-like bread, but softer and doughier. Toppings all tasted good, and I d say the formaggi was the best. Great service and friendly staff! Recommended! Vegetarian options: Formaggi is vegetarian. Olive dish available. Parking: No on-site parking. Maybe down a side street.
Worst pizza ever i had in my life Never visit this restaurant Unclean staff and rude behaviour Food : 1/5
Super fun food! My partner and I got the small takeout dinner for 2 and brought it to Christie Pits. We got half shawarma, half hot honey pepperoni. Both halves were delicious - preferred the pep bc that style is just the best, but the shawarma pizza exceeded expectations too
Vegetarian options: Pizza Dietary restrictions: Halal Food : 5/5 |
A local business that supports Toronto as much as Toronto loves it!
My sister and I recently tried Levant Pizza, and it was absolutely worth the wait! The Sumac Musakhan was so tasty and we left with happy full tummies. Im already looking forward to going back and sampling more from the menu.
Incredible flavorful pizza in a re-invented way. A breath of fresh air. As someone with a gluten, dairy and egg intolerance, this place was a DREAM!!!! Highly recommend and will be back for sure! Vegetarian options: Lots of options for vegans and vegetarians Dietary restrictions: Very accommodating! I m not celiac but have a gluten intolerance, egg intolerance and dairy intolerance and was thrilled!!!
Really good pizza . Would definitely order again. Food : 5/5
Amazing food and experience. Staff were friendly and the meals were incredible with generous portions that we enjoyed the next day. The arugula salad was a standout for me and the focaccia on the sandwiches was one of the best Ive ever had. So good! A vegetarian and a meat eater were both very happy :) Cant wait to come back.
Genuinely the best pizza I have ever had we got the shawarma and sumac muskhan make sure to get the garlic dip it s heavenly. It was my first time trying knafeh it was so delicious and the lady was super nice, overall great experience.
I CANNOT recommend this place highly enough. Normal pizza flavours will never do it for me again. Once you go Palestinian (not) pizza you ll never go back.
I was looking for a Palestinian restaurant to support after the protest today. I saw some great reviews for this pizza spot so decided to check it out. The pizza was really nice and the arugula salad was super fresh and delicious. One disappointing thing was the customer service however. There was an older woman there with probably one of the nastiest attitudes from a waitress I had ever seen in my life. I dont think we did anything at all to warrant such treatment. Its a bummer, I hate to write a bad review and always love to support my people but Palestinians are known for our hospitality and the customer service definitely needs to be improved.
Disappointing experience. Unfriendly, unhelpful service, complete lack of hospitality, and mediocre focaccia pizza crust. We really wanted to like and support a Palestinian business but we wont be returning.
Moving from Scarborough to the west end left me worried that I d be losing a lot of the flavours of Scarborough that I ve come to love. Luckily for me Levant has filled the pizza sized hole in my heart, and has quickly become my favourite pizza spot in the entire city. I ve never been disappointed in anything I ve ordered or picked up, the food is always delicious and fresh! The sandwiches are also fantastic if you aren t in the mood for pizza. Can t recommend this place enough and I love seeing how they give back to the community. They are a small business that I am proud to support.
Good pizza and nice atmosphere.
Lovely restaurant, great service, highly recommend the kunafa 10000 stars
We catered from Levant for a corporate lunch. It was 35 people and they gave us a mix of pizza, salads, and pita/dips. It was wonderful - everyone on staff enjoyed the food.
Excellent food and service!
I called the restaurant to make a reservation but no one answered the phone. When my friends and I got to the restaurant, the employee approached us saying that they are full and are not taking any reservations. In a normal and calm tone, I told that employee that I had called the restaurant earlier to make a reservation but no one answered the phone. I did not have an argumentative tone. She rudely said to me, Can t you see I m busy working here? My friends and I felt very disrespected. We had not known that she couldn t answer the phone because she was busy helping other customers. She should get training on improving her customer service skills. Instead, she could have kindly told us, I m sorry I wasn t able to answer the phone, I was busy helping other customers . We really wanted to try this restaurant after hearing good things about it, it s a shame that we were treated so poorly by staff who don t value their customers.
Never in my life have I encountered such a rude hostess. My friends and I were very excited to try this Palestinian-Italian fusion restaurant, the front desk lady was immediately rude for absolutely no reason, did not greet us at all even though we did we had tried to call in advance but to no avail. She used a rude tone and told us we are obviously full right now and will be all day when we said we tried to call to see if it wasn t busy and make a reservation she disrespectfully replied you can t see that I m busy!!? instead of saying sorry we are a full house today, I couldn t answer your call my friends and I were completely astonished as we have never encountered such rude customer service before. Do yourself a favour and dine else where please. Service 0/5
Cozy little place with tasty food! I got the Sumac Musakhan pizza and it was delicious! Service was also so great very friendly staff! Would recommend : ) Wheelchair accessibility: Unfortunately not wheelchair accessible due to the stairs.
Such a great restaurant. The owners are so welcoming and kind. The shawarma pizza is also incredible. Will be a new regular spot for me!
Group of five ate here last night and enjoyed it immensely. Two vegetarians had no problem finding dishes, while my shawarma sandwich was wonderfully delicious.
The food was amazing and all the staff was great! It is a small place so make sure if you are able you reserve a place
Ordered takeout. The pizza was good however soggy due to packaging. They should improve that. Ordered kunafa, and it was rubbery. Very bad and didnt taste good either. Go here for pizza only.
I ve strolled past a few times and seen reviews on TikTok and today was my day to experience Levant. Atmosphere - sweet and cozy. tables of two and more. Food 10/10 I had two different slices of pizza recommended by my awesome server. Not only were they delicious but also filling. 2 slices filled me up - and the flavours were perfectly balanced. Perfect amount of spice and I m already wondering when I can go back for me. Thanks for a perfect experience. Vegetarian options: Lots of veg options. Parking: Street parking is available.
LOVE this spot!! Went a few weeks ago with some close friends, the woman who runs the joint is such a joy to be around and the food is of great quality. 100% would recommend and 100% will be going back!!!
there were so rude to me. I went there to pickup an order. The woman at the cashier said she dont have time to speak with me. I wont go there ever again.
Delicious food and beautiful service
Excellent food and service. Staff is always super helpful and friendly. Thomas is great!
I finally got to try this place a few weeks ago and it did not disappoint! I ordered over the phone for collection. I went for the mix and match pie, half Spicy shatta Bomba and half Upside down and they made them both vegan for me. I also got the burnt tomato dip. Collection was quick and easy and the person who served my was very bubbly and friendly. I got home and when I say I INHALED it...it was sooo fing delicious. The restaurant is very cute, will definitely be back to try for dine in
Wonderful experience, both in food and hosting!
10/10 recommend this place! The pizza is so flavorful, the ambience is amazing, and plenty of veggie options!
We asked for a copy of their menu. And they told us to look outside Than when we asked what the Shrawma Was on their menu they told us just to go across the street if we wanted a shawarma plate. Ive never experienced such rude. Judgemental service. Just explain to us what you are. We would have happily joined in on the conversation experience. Whatever the experience was we wouldve joined. Im from the industry. But honestly. That was the rudest I was ever greeted at the door. Was quite excited to try it. But honestly. Damn Rude. Was it because i was brown ?
Ordered the Maqlouba pizza for a party, and it was devoured within minutes. Delicious and original. The dips are also wonderful and a great addition to any gathering! Food
Such lovely staff and amazing food. Tried it for the first time and ordered it again a week later
A great place where you can taste some Palestinian traditional food done in a very creative and untraditional way: Served on a Pizza. Yes, on a Pizza. Nice owner and staff and a cozy place to have lunch or dinner. Must try... Five stars and beyond
Went for dinner before a show at the Paradise Theatre down the road. Was unlike anything Ive ever tried before. Was absolutely delicious. Would recommend making a reservation as it is a small space.
Cute place. Great food. Best Knafeh weve had in Toronto. Definitely worth a visit!
Hands down my favourite pizza spot! Dietary restrictions: Love the halal pepperoni option! Food : 5/5 |
The freshest, softest dough and unique flavors.
Such a fantastic hidden gem! A unique twist on a classic, we loved the mediterranean/middle eastern flair to our pizza. We also thoroughly enjoyed the hummus bowl, which could have been a meal all on its own. Worth the trip from Milton and we will be back!
Amazing, Palestinian and Lebanese owned restaurant. Friendly, prompt service and absolutely delicious food. We shared the hummus bowl which is a really generous size, the OG shawarma (not) pizza was fantastic and loved the Moroccan Mule. Unfortunately we were so full, there was no room for dessert. Will have to go back for the kunafa. A must try, highly recommend Levant!
The place is cozy and the food is super yummy every time. The dough is to die for, fluffy and crunchy at the same time. And the staff are super friendly. My go to place when I want to introduce my friends to a great bite.
beautiful little spot on bloor west. lovely service and absolutely delicious food. make sure you share some dishes so you can try a bunch of items from the menu. its so good ! thank you Levant!
Had a large mixed pizza with meat habibi and sumac musakhan. Both were incredibly delicious. The crust was so crisp and toppings were generous. We took leftovers home and had it for the next 2 meals and wanted more of it! Oh and it came out piping hot too! We finished our meal with the baklava cheesecake from sweetsado and that was crazy good. It was a huge slice of cake with a big piece of baklava on top. Beats anything the cheesecake factory ever made in my opinion. The staff were all very nice too. If I didnt live so far Id come here every week. Im definitely telling all my friends about this place! Looking forward to coming back to try the other pies!
5 big yummy stars. Absolutely loved the Bianca The potatoes with vegan cheese were DIVINE. bread so soft. Service so sweet. Absolutely loved this spot. traditionalists would say this feels more like flatbread than pizza but then maybe just don t invite them! Food
Very tasty fresh pizzas with unique menu! The woman hosting us was fantastic she was honest, authentic and very kind/thoughtful. This place was the perfect treat! Can t wait to come back!
The foccaccia base was a bit too doughy. The toppings were fine though.
I enjoyed every dish I ordered and we ordered a lot! That rarely happens where everything has its own distinct taste to make you want more. These are not the exact names, but we ordered the cauliflower, the grilled cheese with burnt tomato dip, swarms sandwich, and then half of the meat lovers with half of focaccia garlic pizza. ALL OF IT WAS AMAZING. If you haven t tried this place, then your missing out on not only a great dine in service but also a delicious explosion you won t forget.
Small place, but it gives an intimate feel. We had two pizzas the crispy crème and the habibi meat lover. Both were very tasty. I m intrigued by the rest of their menu and would go again.
We had the hummus plate, delicious and very generous portion, could not finish it!
A unique pizza experience! Absolutely delicious. Service is excellent. Worth a visit. Food : 5/5
Food was pretty good. Service left much to be desired. I made a reservation and she arrived a few minutes earlier than I did. Not only did she threaten her to kick us out if I didnt arrive immediately... She completely ignored my friend and only spoke to me the entire time. I realize that its a small restaurant and she was the only one there... But the level of unnecessary stress the person was holding the entire time was just too much.
Great food and service, very welcoming environment. Definitely be back soon!
