Mac’s Pizza in Toronto

I can t believe how I just found out about Mac s Pizza. Had the opportunity to try two great slices. Thin and crispy with a perfect balance of ingredients. Can t wait to visit again!!

Came here on a whim with a pal who s just as addicted to pizza as I am. He insisted I had to try the lemon slice. I had some doubts but after one bite I had to admit the thing was delicious. Laid back atmosphere, good service, low key excellent pizza.

Angry peps & lemon pepper water super delicious. Specially angry peps. 10/10

Great place for a slice or even a date night pie to share. We tried 3 pies, including a white pie I was unsure of and everything was delish. Big shout out to the Tie dye with a huge swirl of proper pesto. Little chilly in the winter, but worth it for a scarfed-up dinner.

Okay.. I had to come back and edit this review. When I first tried Macs I hadnt tried Badiali yet so I didnt want to say for sure Macs was the best pie in the city. Well I finally braved the wait for some Badiali and while it was good it didnt quite live up to the hype for me. I can now say with confidence that Macs is the best pie in town.

Sad I ate it so fast I dont have pictures I love how this place is fast and that its open until 11pm - definitely a vibe on the way back from an event nearby I had the lemon and white pie slices. The bottom curst is good as well as the toppings. Next time I would get a red sauce base I would say the crust could use some work and their white sauce isnt creamy enough. The cheese is good but a touch more would be perfect

I stumbled upon Macs and its definitely a perfect 10 for me! Its become one of my go-to spots in the city, and I make sure to grab a slice whenever Im nearby. Their vodka slice and lemon head pizzas are crazy good. If possible, enjoy it right there, fresh out of the oven after they give it some extra crispiness its soooo goooddd. And give their wine a try too, the house pizza wine is my favourite.

Lets just say its not the best pizza in town. Although its crunchy and doesnt leave you super bloated. Great customer service, nice vibes. Free water? Nice touch

Stopped in after work to grab a slice and ended up trying the white mushroom pie, which was great! I ll definitely be coming back to try the other slices!

What a beautiful surprise today! I happened across this gem today and had the best pizza slice! White mushroom pizza! It was amazing! I m a pizza connoisseur and this slice was fantastic! I am not sure why I never heard of this place. Plus the ambience was great and the service excellent!!! Must go back again and again!!!

Had to give 5 stars. A badiali fan, but this might be better. Vodka is good, they do have a different take on Vodka so beware of the meat on it! Cheese slice is amazing!! Lemon head as people say is something unique. Cheese slice is my favorite which would go head to head with badialis vodka slice! Way less crowded than badiali, so that definitely helps.

Lemonhead!!!! Total game changer I never would have thought it would work but love it! That little sizzle when you squeeze the lemon wedge on a hot slice Drizzle a little hot honey on there if you wanna upgrade the experience. I only got a slice this time but Im coming for a whole pie next time

This is probably one of the only places I can easily say everything is. 5/5 - nothings ever missed and it s executed to literal perfection.

I really wanted to like this place, but it s just not good. Came right when they first opened, my friend and I each got two slices and afterwards both were like yeah, it s OK, I guess. Clearly it was quite forgettable because a few months later I really wanted to give it another go and get a whole pie. I hesitated on multiple occasions because $40 for a pizza is insulting, but finally I was just too curious about the vodka sauce one. What a BUMMER though. Completely tasteless. It was actually shocking how bland it was. It s like they had to try to make it flavourless. On the second day, after heating up the leftovers, some life had finally soaked into the slices It wasn t bad. But no one is looking to drop this kind of money for a pizza that s only going to be halfway decent 16-18 hrs after purchase.

Ordered through Skip the Dishes. Angry pepperoni and the fennell salad. Both were delicious. Pizza cooked perfectly. So good we hid it from the kids so we didnt have to share ! Lol

Tried this place for delivery one night because I was craving pizza. Despite it being room temperature and the cheese had settled by the time it arrived, this is hands down the best pizza I have had in Canada. Very comparable to pies down in New Haven. Dave needs to come back to Toronto and give this a review. Will try it fresh in the near future. P.S. The kale caesar salad was also pretty delicious too.

Ordered from Mac s Pizza for my birthday and got four different pizzas (Angry Pepperoni, Vodka Pie, White Pie, and Margherita). They were a hit with everyone! Delicious pizza, and the service was smooth. Would definitely recommend!

This is purely based off of our customer service experience. Did an order for pick up and told the person over the phone, that we didnt want our pizza cut. Get to the restaurant to pick up my order and only after I have paid and tipped, does the guy then tell me oh, they cut your pizza. Found this to be very shady and disappointing. I was so hungry and I didnt have the energy to wait around another 20-30 minutes for them to make me another pizza. It would have been nice if they had offered a refund, free dipping sauce, the salad we ordered on the house, or store credit, literally anything for their mistake, but they didnt do that.

Love this place. The pizzas are amazing, and they also have beer/wine/seltzer to compliment the pizza.

My vote on best slice in the city!!! I ve tried all of their vegetarian slices and each has it s own deep flavour. I always pair a slice with their in house made garlic dip, cannot reco mac s enough!

I usually like their pizza. But this time I ordered a pizza to go. Was told it d be 20mins, I waited 45mins before asking how long it be for my pizza. The guy said we re not making pizzas anymore . I said I already ordered and then he said Oh this pizza? It s been here for a while. They never even bothered calling the name for the order. Paid for a dry crispy pizza, I regret stopping by tonight.

Lemon on a pizza!? Who knew ... One of the top slices in the city, and I dont say that lightly. Shame about the hot honey which is neither hot nor real honey.

A great little gold nugget with a crunchy delicious New York style slice for a good price. When youre extra hungry or share with more people you get the best value for money with a whole pie.

I ve been aiming to try all the best pizza joints in Toronto and after trying Mac s Pizza I can definitely say it s definitely one of the better spots in the city. Recently hit up Mac s with some friends and ordered an 18 pepperoni pizza. The store itself is quaint inside/ definitely has a nice atmosphere and smells like delicious pizza. The pizza itself was awesome. The sauce, cheese and pepps were high quality and delicious. The crust was tasty and had a nice crisp to it. Overall a great pie and will definitely hit up Mac s for another pizza. 10/10 for sure

Hidden gem. Easily the top 5 pizza places in Toronto. Serves the classic and patented Toronto pizza. Marg and cheese are great, Im sure the others are great as well. No complaints and would highly recommend it at least once, if not more.

At 30 bucks their cheese about 25% more than all the other good cheese pizzas in the city, hard to recommend at this price point.

We were ordering pizza from this place every week. But today we received half of the pizza without dressing . It was very disappointing to find out that at home, if we checked it in the pizzeria we would immediately return it.

My experience with ordering over the phone was extremely disappointing. When I called to inquire about their menu and options, the person who answered the phone was incredibly rude. Not only did they refuse to answer my questions, but they also dismissed me outright, stating that they had no time for my inquiries and needed to focus on real orders. This lack of professionalism and customer service left a sour taste in my mouth, and I will not be patronizing Macs Pizza in the future. Vegetarian options: Margherita Pizza

This place is great. I go for a slice whenever Im in the area. I love the garnishes they add after the slice comes out of the oven. Kid-friendliness: We were able to fit our stroller inside on a quiet day.

Perfect slice with the perfect dipping sauce... On par with Badialis!

You literally cannot order from Macs. Skip the Dishes is their delivery partner of choice and they are absolutely awful and unreliable. Ordered well ahead and Skip just never picked up or delivered our order on one occasion and on others it takes so long so come the pizza is soggy and gross. Avoid at all costs!! Way better options around Toronto.

I would say one of the top 10 pizza places in Toronto but not the best. I enjoyed the pepperoni, the angry pepperoni, and the white pie but the other slice we ordered (the vodka) was a bit disappointing. The pizza slices were thin yet sturdy. The pizza sauce and dough could use a bit more flavour. You know the dough is excellent when my partner finishes all the crusts which wasn t the case here. Overall, good pizza but not sure if we would go back.

One of the best pizza spots in the city. Great for grabbing a quick slice, even better to sit down and order a fresh pizza. Great sauce and crust, their dipping sauces are amazing as well. Perfect place to unwind after a long day with a glass of wine.

Person who helped had a little attitude but it s not a big deal to me really. I got a vodka slice, it was very good. I m not sure if i would say it s as good as badiali but it was pretty close and worth checking out as I didn t have to wait 30 minutes for a slice. I didn t really see much single person seating but maybe I didn t look hard enough

Great music, with a cozy and intimate atmosphere! No wait time and washrooms were kept extremely clean as well. Slices were fresh and creamy garlic sauce complimented the flavours extremely well. Will be back soon.

Very delicious food.

Came in for the first time and ordered classic slices pepperoni and cheese. First of all they were playing Big Star in the the store so I could tell these guys were chill and the restaurant was just very calm and lowkey which Toronto needs more of. The slices were super crispy and had great crust and were just great on all counts. I ll definitely pull up again.

Wow! One of my favourite pizza places in the city! The quality is really good, and they add on fresh custom toppings after the slices come out of the oven. If you like thin crust, youll love this place. They have a bit of seating inside too; very cozy atmosphere.

To begin my Toronto pizza journey, my friends and I went here. This place has more unique pizza slices than your average pizzeria, as well as a wide selection of alcoholic drinks. I only had the vodka slice. It left me wanting a bit more, but it was not bad at all. The price is decent and the staff seemed to enjoy making the pizza. Not bad!

Thin slice style pizza crust. Lemon head was nice, with freshly grated lemon zest, which didn t leave the pizza tasting sour or too lemony. They have beer and wine to choose from and they sell honey. There is a washroom and a couple of tables and stools to sit and enjoy your slice. Food

Dropped in for the spicy pep slice, and I will definitely be returning for several reasons. Great unique choices of signature pies and slices, a very cool selection of wines. I also just enjoyed the vibe of the crew working. They were playing some bangers while enjoying what they do and it made the experience that much better. The crust is special, it s substantial yet very light, crisp and airy. We re pretty spoiled in this city with good pizza. This should be added to your list of staples.

Mac s is a wonderful spot for your pizza craving. Not only are their pizza is amazing, but they have a sink for customers to wash their hands before eating! Really well thought out. We ordered two pizza slices, Vodka Pizza and White Pizza, and a salad. I presumably thought that the white pizza would be dry, but it wasn t! They both tasted amazing and not too salty (like other gourmet pizza joints). The total came out to $26 after tax. The employees were super friendly and patient with us when we were deciding what to order. The place had plenty of seating available. We found a gem!

Pizza was good but the service is lacklustre and not inviting. Wouldn t probably go back for that reason

Hands down my favorite pizza in Toronto! I love their white pie, which is mushroom on a cheese pie with dotted ricotta on top. The pizza is perfection. After it s reheated, the guy will drizzle olive oil and shave fresh Parmesan on top. The crust almost taste like pastry, and the topping is a great combination of flavours. You can taste quality at every bite. Super satisfying meal at $6.99 per slice. This is easily the best pizza I ve ever had. I also like the retro vibe of the diner. They lit real candle in the tea light cup. Love it.

Cute little place where you can pizza slices and sit down to eat. I like that the most because no one wants to eat a slice outside when it s cold. We loved the lemon head that one was outstanding. We also got the cheese, vodka and mushroom which were all good. Get the lemon head!

Interesting original flavors like vodka pizza. Unfortunately, the pizza was cold, and you couldnt really taste the vodka sauce. Ill give them the benefit of the doubt and would get it again because it was good. Just expect it to be more like a sausage basil and cheese style pizza rather than a vodka sauce pizza. Hot honey and garlic dipping sauce were great. Expect to pay $27-$35 per pizza. However, they are MASSIVE

Holy s***. Leave Badialis to the rest of the masses - just give me this place. The crust, perfection - thin, crispy, chewy and tasty. The Sauce - tangy, great consistency, not too acidic. Will be in our #1 rotation spot til we can get through all their offerings because they all look ridiculously good (Lemonhead? Sign me up!). They are worth more hype than so many other places in the city, but I think we are all thankful we dont have to spend hours in line.

Got delivery: Angry Pepperoni pizza and kale Caesar salad. Pizza was delicious - not too greasy which was a pleasant surprise. The salad was OK but its a pizza place what do you expect? I do like the generous use of parmesan cheese on everything.

With -27 windchill I was enticed to meet a friend to pick up a pizza. It was well worth it.

I havent tried every pizza spot in Toronto, but whatever, Macs Pizza is hands down the absolute best pizza in Toronto. Beats North of Brooklyn and Badiali. Just take my word for it. I even bought a t-shirt.

First time and one of the best Pizza slices I ever ate.

Delicious za, pizza that is. Had the lemon white sauce slice and it stands out. Other flavours to choose from and the freshness was apparent. Glasses of wines are available and the cute retro sitting areas inside and out make it a place I need to return to. I had a seltzer with my meal, however many beverages available. Boys and men, pay attention for date night or even just a snack with a valued friend.

This place has been in our neighborhood for ages. Finally went in for the first time today. I got the white slice. And hooooooly. Amazing gobs of jammy, caramelized onions. Crispy crust with the perfect amount of char. Rich ricotta. Kinda blew my mind not even gonna lie. 10/10 would die for the pizza pie.

I never write reviews, but this spot is a top tier pizza joint. You walk in, the aroma sweeps you off your feet and reminds you of the love for the world you thought you lost. Incredible, fresh palpable delicious pizza smells just gently caressing your nostrils. The kind gentleman behind the counter offers a warm greeting, (or gentle lady, if one works there) and asks you what you would like. I said I want the pepperoni, and one other one that was really yummy but I forget. (This was yesterday, and Im brain dead.) But it had mozzarella and mushrooms and other stuff I think. He took them out of the oven. He doctord up my sliceys without asking, which I actually have mad respect for. He sprinkled some parmasan and what looked like some honey? On one of the sliceys? Cheeky! You sly dog. Love that. I applied some chili flakes that are readily available on the counter for the custys. Nice. That way I can apply the amount thats right for me. But he nailed it with the parm, dont worry. I took a bite. Superb. Crust: flavourful, perfectly balanced with moisture, a lil buttery maybe, with a subtle crispiness. Sauce not too salty but big flavour. Cheese had that fresh cheesy vibe. And some real house made spicy garlic sauce that made me tear up. Im upset that they dont open sooner in the day. But I suppose thats just how Mac does it. Loves to make us wait for it. You dirty dog! k love you bye

Loved the pizza slices here and garlic sauce. Service was great too. If you re in the area, you should definitely check this place out. I only tried the pepperoni and hot honey but can t wait to try other slices especially the lemon.

Ive visited 3 times in 7 days. The pizza is thin crust so you gotta fold it to eat it. Perfect meal any time. Love that they have cups for water and offer it freely.

Had a lemon white sauce pizza with ricotta. Very unique. Amazing slice. Atmosphere was great. Love the genderless bathroom. The guy serving us probably had a long day cuz he was kinda disinterested in doing his job. But awesome place otherwise.
