This place really went downhill after it was closed for a few months. Seriously lacking. Probably because of the corporate takeover. Food : 1/5

Excellent pizza as always, but please make sure delivery drivers use insulated bags to avoid cold pizzas.

I dont usually write negative reviews... This review is just more of a heads up to other customers. I got a pizza and garlic bread with cheese which both tastes great . But I do not suggest ordering the tiramisu cup as it came freezer burnt Food : 3/5

Pizza had burned black cheese around the outside but was doughy and undercooked in the middle. Had to cook the pizza more to get it to an edible state.

Pizza was pretty good as well as the wings. Customer service was great. I will definitely be back.

Unfortunately, this time my order was incorrect. I asked for no onions on my meatball pizza, but there were lots of onions! It wasnt the best. But usually the order is great and the pizza is usually very good. This was just a one-time mistake.

Great pizza

Too much sauce on veal on a bun and same with sausage on a bun. Very sloppy to eat but veal and sausage would be fine without soooo much sauce. Would order again requesting not so much sauce. Service and delivery great.

The best pizza we ever had in North York!! The pizza was so delicious and with so many flavor could choose that we even visited the pizza shop twice in the same day! And one more thing, the new staff is so much great!! They were very polite and nice to us

I ordered two large pizzas for family gathering, everyone loved the pizzas. I wanted it to be extra well done and they did exactly the way i wanted them. I got a bit late in ordering the pizza, they were so friendly that they rushed to delieved it on time and saved me from embarrassment.

Their stone baked pizza is amazingly good! The pizza crust is a bit on the thin side so it might not fit the tastes of everyone.

Popped in here for a quick slice with the kids and was happy with all the pizza choices. The guys working there warmed up the slices really nicely and it made the thin crust perfectly crispy. The 2 kids got a drink included with their slice which was a bonus. Thanks for the quick lunch!

Was excited to order again after renovations but was disappointed. Cheese was barely melted and tasted really weird. Sad to hear it because we use to live ordering from this location.

This place is a fantastic Mamma s. I highly recommend ordering from their own app instead of through the delivery sites. I got a pizza yesterday that was actually about as perfect as they get. As I was putting away leftovers I was shocked that 45 minutes even AFTER delivery the pizza was still warm. Great sauce distribution, perfectly Parmesan crisped crust, generous cheese, all in a great balance. Uber and Skip and Doordash often don t even deliver the fresh pizza warm. I love pizza all over the city but this is one of my absolute favourite places. Great, great pizza. Thank you!

Ive been eating Mammas for 30 years now! Wow, Im old. Over time they have slowly started using what tastes like cheaper ingredients. Seems the ingredients for the crust were next on the list. Tastes more like frozen pizza crust now. This happened, it seems, sometime within the last few months because it was the same crust maybe 3 months ago... Its not just Mammas though. Seeing this happen at many of the pizza joints over the years. Pizza Hut, Dominos, Pizza Novo, Pizza Pizza. Kinda sad because this place use to be my go to. I dont blame the individual store owners. Its the donkeys making the decisions on what products to supply the stores with. Im sure inflation and the cost to lease doesnt help but I miss old Mammas. Hopefully theyll go back to the old ingredients but not holding my breath. Theyre all friendly guys working there and I want them to do well but for this to happen, the product just needs to be better.

I hate writing a bad review but I m very disappointed with the pizza I received. I ordered a XL meat lovers pizza with extra cheese. Plus a couple of dipping sauces and 4 cokes. With Taxes and Tip was $60. The pizza was not what I ordered. They advertise a meat lovers. Each slice had 2 pepperoni slices, 1 piece of bacon, and few little pieces of ground beef. That is not meat lovers. The toppings were so sparse. Plus I asked for extra cheese and it definitely didn t have extra cheese. This pizza was not terrible in taste. But the price I paid it was definitely a rip off. I will not order from mamas pizza again. My 1st time is my last time.

I came for a visit to Toronto. We ordered a large pizza here..The crust too thick. Not enough sauce. And, it taste like cardboard. Didnt offer us any specials. It cost $40.00. The Meatball sandwich, was good.

Pizza was under done. Salami was in chunks, not thinly sliced.

I ordered my pizza at 6:27pm. It arrived 2 hours later at 8:35. I called multiple times to find out where my food was, and was told each time it was on the way I should have just cancelled my order. Nobody ever apologized for the inconvenience on the phone.

This isn t about the product. The product is great. This is about what I experienced on Mammas special day. First of all, having one person open and run a 5 dollar medium special that is PICKUP OR WALK IN alone is absolute madness. Then to top it all off there was no way to make change. The til was empty. From 11 am the phone wouldn t stop ringing and then online orders flowing in, one man can t make 30 pizzas an hour. It s not possible. Dude deserves a much needed raise and an apology for having to tackle this solo

They never answer the phone call, and when you order online, they tell you they do not get the order!

Never answers their phone - tested on multiple occasions at different times over the past year, no answer. One time a while back they even refused to delicer during store hours. This location has the worst service ever. I have been getting mamas pizza since they opened at other locations. The bayview location is pathetic. The owner has posted responses about making changes to improve their service for years but nothing has changed. Mamas pizza has lost a lot of business not just at this location, but all their others too from me, my friends and family given our experience at this location. Perhaps management and the owner can start improving by putting more effort into actually running their business as opposed to responding to Google reviews.

We used Mamas to cater a large family party. The service was exactly on time, pizzas were warm, and enjoyed by all. I especially liked dressing two halves for family size pizzas for some of the less popular choices (e.g., half Hawaiian, half full cheese). Vegetarian options: Lots Dietary restrictions: One medium gluten free (cauliflower crust) for me. Kid-friendliness: Cheese only.

Finally open after renovations, and we were excited to try it. However, disappointed cannot begin to cover what we had - doughy, barely cooked pizza dough, raw looking pepperoni, and cheese that had only started to melt, not to mention cold veggie toppings. Even after baking and broiling to try and inject some life back into it, it was still not great.

Tried there pizza after reopen, i order 2 XL pizza, which was so good, new owners are chill and have great experience, keep it up guys

Beats the competition for taste if the competition is fast food pizza franchises

I was skeptical at the ideas of Gourmet pizza first but the number of options for pizza made me try this place. I was delightfully surprised. One of the best quality pizza I ever had so far. The people who work here are great too. Despite being busy they were patient enough to guide me with my selection and customization.

Got the walk in special. It was a hit with the kids who normally don t eat pizza.

I had a slice of the pizza al pollo (marinated chicken, roasted red peppers, red onions, garlic and oregano) and was very pleasantly surprised. It was flavorful and the crust was perfect. Aside from having a wide variety of meat pizzas, they also have a lot of vegetarian and vegan options. I will definitely be back to try more if not all of them.

Do not order from here employee was condescending and rude. Afterwards after the store closed our order never arrived with no call to let us know. My mother (a senior) was more than polite and tried to speak with the employee and she never got her food. Now we have to order from somewhere else. Take my advice: DO NOT ORDER FROM HERE.

If I could give this restaurant fewer stars I would. They were very rude on the phone. We tried to order a pizza from the takeout menu that we got from them the week before and they said they didn t make the pizza anymore. They put us on hold for 8 mins and then hung up on us. We phoned back 3 times with the same response. We finally ordered a pizza at 10 pm and we waited until 11:15 pm for it to arrive. When we called to check on it, they were closed. They left us hungry and it was too late to order from another place. I will never order from Mama s again!

New to the area, and our go to has always been Mamma s so naturally we would give our business to tested and true. That was the mistake, this stores standards were set far lower than Eglinton West location. Ordered combination pizza which was over cooked, and actually had char on it. The medium cheese pizza was not made fresh, very obviously reheated and sent to us. Tasted of cardboard and was slightly warmer than room temperature. This was the owners choice to do this, so I m not going to bother calling. He lost all future business from us, and I wouldn t take anything free from them. What a way to violate one s trust. Will be reaching out to their head office on Monday to lodge a formal complaint.

The Pizza was awesome and when, on collection, I realized I hadnt ordered enough the Mamas team expedited an extra pizza so I wouldnt be late or disappoint my daughter.

Weve ordered from this place 5 or 6 times but they always seem to make a mistake. Gave them a pass a few times but it seems to happen all the time.

Good pizza when fresh

I order Mama s pizza because I love the pizza and I love Mama! I mean look at that sweet lady on the box, just makes me happy for some reason. You can also get a cheap cheese pizza added for $7 when you order a regular pizza + the pasta list is huge. Sure Mama s not on all the apps you can download but that s because people will search for her pizza for the quality. Thank you Mama and thanks for the memories

I am at hospital from out of town. 3 item midium pizza $30!!!! Pizza pizza 2 large 3 item was cheaper & better. Pizza pizza delivered to room, mamas had me come to front door. Mamas way off on delivery time and not very pleasant driver. I think its a crime the way they take advantage of customers stuck in a hospital with child from out of town.

Vegan Pizza: Thin crust, stone-baked, vegan cheese.... Amazing. Very flavorful, crust was perfectly baked. Generous toppings. I tricked my Father into eating yesterday, and he couldnt tell the difference (He hates trying new things... vegan cheese in this case.) He just kept commenting on how much he loved it. Ill tell him after I feed it to him a few more times. Penne with Pomodoro Sauce: AMAZING sauce. Most restaurants serve pomodoro sauce as this runny, thin liquid with just a few bits of tomato. But Mammas Pizza pomodoro sauce can be a dish by itself. Very hearty, super rich and chunky. Garlic Bread: Crispy outside, soft inside. Perfectly baked. They delivered in 30 minutes, the price was very reasonable, delivery person was nice. (Im the girl from Sunnybrook Hospital last night! Im so sorry I didnt bring enough for a tip! I love you guys!)
