I ordered two medium pizzas at the Victoria Park and Sheppard location on July 8, 2024. Mathew, who was collecting the payment, did not know how to use the gift card. I have used gift cards without any issues at another location (Leslie and Sheppard) and previously at this location with different staff members. However, whenever Mathew is at the counter, there's always a problem, and he blames the gift card. On Monday, I mentioned to him that we've never had any issues using gift cards at other Pizza Nova locations, but we always encounter problems with him. I asked him about the process for customers to complain about these kinds of issues, and he said he didn't know. He doesn't try to understand customers' concerns or assist them (for example, by engaging a colleague to process the payment) or learn how to process payments using gift cards.
Big shout out to Kra amazing service very polite I ordered a pizza large extra cheese pizza well done after work on Friday June 21,2024 10:50pm I waited 18minutes and it was amazing taste exactly how I love a cheese pizza thank you so much Kra it was definitely made with love definitely will buy again‼️Thanks for having the time to read my review!! We ordered chicken wings but I think we got of sparrows. And the pizza had no flavor or taste. Wasted our Friday kids party time.
0/5 ⭐ REASON: ****MOLDY**** 🤮 CHEESE ON MY PIZZA! Today I ordered 2 slices of pizza, one meat supreme and one Hawaiian. I asked the man behind the counter for parmesan on the slices and he carelessly hands me the shaker before serving the next customer. I shake some of the strange smelling parmesan on my pizza thinking nothing of it. I get home and eat my meat supreme slice thinking the pizza smells a bit rancid, but the taste wasn't off enough to alert me. However get to my next slice and the smell is much stronger, I inspect the slice closer and find ****MOLD**** 🤮 sprinkled throughout the parmesan dusting. I called the corporate number and they said it would be resolved on their end but I was heading out anyways so I decided to bring my mold-dusted slice back to the store and bring it up with the same man who seems to manage the store. I arrive and present the slice in all of it's moldy-glory. The owner looks at me with a expression of disdain, as if I am in the wrong. He tells me "I dont see any mold" I proceed to pick up the suspect particles of fungal-infested cheese flakes and show him the discoloration. He looks and me and presents his thick-skulled theory that I "went home and put mold on my own pizza.🤓" I didn't entertain this dim-witted idea and told him that he is serving mold and needs to throw out that shaker. He grabs the shaker out of the fridge and half-assedly inspects the mold-ecosystem that they call a parmesan shaker and tells me "I don't see any mold in here." and places the shaker on the table. I take the shaker and show him the layer of caked on green mold at the bottom of the shaker and show him what he is serving to paying customers. Now at this point, he is very clearly in the wrong and an apology at the very least is in order, instead he throws another slice of pizza in the oven and continues to deflect the conversation and give me evil-eye 💢. I walk out and tell him to throw out his mold shaker. CONCLUSION: EAT HERE IF YOU LIKE MOLD🤮 (not the blue cheese kind)
4.0 / 5.0 is fair for this location. Food was made to order, but this isn’t the best run Pizza Nova I’ve been to. For me, service was polite, efficient. Pizza was exactly what I asked for. Price was reasonable. The crust/undercarriage never gets a nice crunch, even when I order well done (which is always). But the sauce is tasty. It’s once of the better options for chain pizza in this province.
Had a slice of the new ‘chorizo fuego’ for lunch and it was cooked perfectly and absolutely delicious. I used to have pizza for work functions from this location all the time and it was always great quality (much better than the nearby pizza pizza). Will definitely be choosing pizza nova more often again!
Great Franchise location. Usually done right without cutting corners. Pizza is above average for a Franchise brand and the Wings are surprisingly good too. I always get things slightly well done to make sure it’s cooked through well and it turns out awesome. Fan Favourites... Slices when fresh, Jumbo size circle pizza turns out best but a bit expensive and Honey Garlic Wings are 🔥🔥🔥 Party Size pizzas are a great overall value too but triangular slices are king 🍕💯🍕
An old looking guy who supposedly get my orders. But when he rushed me to choose what pizza I want. I told him to give me more time to decide and not to rush me. He was a disrespectful and is unprofessional. Also there was no chair and tables especially with disability.
The current location is cheating by putting less ingredients into the pitsa than it should be. Poor customer service. Not recommend. Try other branches.
my brother went to get dinner the other day and we got the same exact thing, when they charged more for one, he went back and the owner like a damn child threw the change back at him

NASTY PLACE!!! WOULD GIVE 0 STAR IF POSSIBLE My son on Sunday said he wanted a slice so we went there to grab one. While the person putting our slice in the oven I saw a big fly on the pizza sitting next to the one we were going to get ours from. I told him about the fly and he said I cannot do anything about it, fly come and go everytime ... He DID NOT even try to push the fly away or get it off the pizza which surprise us the most. If your attitude is like this then I am scared to know whats going on in the back.. At this point I told him leave it I wont get the slice anymore and he said thats fine and took the slice from the oven and put it back in the pile ..with the flies still there. As a parent I am not playing with my sons health so if you want to have health issue for you or families eat there at your own risk. I usually order pizza there almost every week but now Im done. I should have taken pictures.

I dont think Ive had a worse experience at a pizza place before. The owner/manager is a misogynist to an extreme, not to mention rude and degrading. I had a coupon from Pizza Nova, and when I reached out to give it to him, he didnt even look at it and just said no. I proceeded to ask him why he was not accepting and he just kept waving me off and saying that if I had a problem, to talk to head office. I continued to ask him to give me a reason, and his reply? calm down! I mean, Im trying to figure out why youre not accepting my completely valid coupon and youre telling me to calm down? The whole conversation gave me the creeps. BEST PART was that I saw a mouse/rat run across the floor in the back! I was actually glad then that he refused me and left. I would LOVE to see the health department shut these guys down. Feel bad for the employees though, they seemed polite.

WHY can this place not follow cooking instructions. 2 pizzas order. One the crust is cooked perfectly! As asked. Second crust is doughy! Toppings were good. On receipt in LARGE RED PRINT are the instructions. Im asked to take a picture! How does this prove its a doughy crust! I stopped ordering from this location 2 years ago. Cannot follow basic food orders! Here I go again! I actually enjoy your pizzas, when they are cooked properly!

I and my friend went there for see if they are hiring or if there is any vacany. There were 2 people. One of them was young and he was really nice helping us with our enquiry and he gave us pen and paper to write down our number so that he can pass to the manager and the other person (he was elder) he was so rude and aggressive, he took the pen and paper from us so aggressively and ask us to leave the store. This was the first time something like that happened to us. He was completely illbehaved, why pizza nova are hiring these people? I will never ever go in that store. I really want to manager to contact us.
Ordered 3 times and all 3 worst experience. 1st time total order was wrong 2nd time burnt pizza 3rd time ordered a party pizza for pick up since 2 delivery experience failed miserably; Went to the store to pick up; and asked for chilli flake topping in a small marinara sauce container; but the owner refused and literally gave me a napkin and asked me to put chilli flakes in it to take away . After persistent insistence he gave me a container.
Good teasty food
No complaints, pretty good pizza for a chain. Gluten-free/dairy-free option is decent, alongside the normal options. Weve enjoyed their sandwiches (pretty good!) and wings (fine) as well.

Very very poor customer service. This place is open for dine in (as per google), I asked this guy out of courtesy is the place open for dine after receiving my pizza at the store. He said you gotta eat is fast because we have customers coming and this place is for them to stand. However, I was there at the store waiting for my pizza I did not see people coming in that 30 minutes of waiting period. Further I asked him for chilli flakes sachets he handed me few tissues and asked me to fill it up from the bottle behind me with very bad attitude. The guy wears specs, he was taking orders today!! This was my very first time with pizza nova and it was so not good!
I normally go to Midland and Sheppard. I was very disappointed with this location. I ordered a walk in pepperoni. When I got home it was just cheese
why are restaurants asking for tip on a pick up order? if I wanted to tip. then I would ask fir delivery.

Sick and tired of wrong orders. Love their pizza and balsamic salad. Fresh and amazing. Pizza orders not always correct. If you complain, thay want proof. GEE! Ill run the pizza right over!!Your pizza is good, but not outstanding! Food change! Fact is I have very little choices living in Scarborough! Independence rarely survive! January 1st,2021 I didnt reply to your last response pizza nova. Thought I would try one more time. I ordered a simple medium double pepperoni pizza. How could you possibly mess that up!! Under cooked crust! Extremely tired of poor quality! You might want to hire a good quality control team. That works with the stores directly. If this is already in place they need to be retrained. Sorry! Not impressed!

I just went from 4 stars to 1 star. The Sheppard and Victoria Park location needs to step up their quality. Dough is under cooked and thick. Wings have barely any sauce one day then flooded with sauce the next order. Consistency is horrible. When they get busy, the quality is gone. You might as well just go across to Pizza Pizza. Wont be ordering much from this location.

It s still COVID and everybody is contactless except these guys that require cash. Very unusual. I got pizzas for $15 and he asked for cash. I never carried cash and gave him debit. Then I asked for garlic sauce which is usually free of charge. He asked for $1.05 cash. Obviously I didn t have. Literally he refused to sell it. Ridiculous or lack of common sense? You ll decide..

Thank you. I should also have expanded my response to mention that Pizza Nova is my familys first choice and the go-to place for Pizza and ancillary food products. We love the variety of menu items, quick and friendly service and convenience. Of course, the product taste is generally top drawer, Yummy.

I love Pizza Nova, but not a big fan of this location. This location is not consistent with the quality, my last pizza was almost burnt. Every time I order, I just have to hope that they do it right. I still end up going here because the location is convenient

Order all the time cause we love the pizza. Basically, regular good customer. Order arrives after an hour, cold and without the soft drinks, so we reject the order. Clearly, they dont train their drivers because I watched the driver walk along York Mills with the my rejected order. Ridiculous!!!!!! AND apparently theyre rushing a replacement over and its been 45 minutes ago and still waiting as I write this, after being told 35 minutes. NEVER AGAIN !!!!!! Dont waste your time, go to Pizza Pizza! Horrible service!

Worst Pizza Nova ever... Paid $22 for 2 panzeorotti and got the smallest panzeorotti in y lifewaited for a half an hour. I added 3 topping, inside was empty and only sause when i got them. Very rude and egoist front desk (I think hes the store manager). When we told to split the bill because amount was big, he got angry on us. Every restaurants splits the bill upon request I dont know why he behaved like this. First we thought he might having a bad day but he behaved same on our another visit. Never gonna visit again.

Good cheap pizza but its way to salty.
Whenever I walk in they look up, and dont come to say hi till like 5 mins and then they are not helpful when you want to pick or build your pizza. Only worth it for the slices if they are ready.

I go here twice a week on random days. Its near by literally walking distance. The crew here are always friendly, present my correct order and I order online!. Just this particular night I went in on a Sunday. The manager was rushing everyone including me was not polite, no smiles like usual. I wont ink be going back soon. Its upsetting the food is soo damn good.

Pizza is good, but the people working here are not. Tried to scam me out of my change and accused me of being cheap and stingy when I corrected them. The amount of money was not a big deal, but the fact that they would do this shows their poor character. I will be looking for another Pizza Nova to get my pizzas from now on.

WORST PIZZA EVER (no stars) from Sheppard Vic Park location Asked for Hot banana peppers what was on pizza was slimy 1/2 wide hot green pepper very GROSS Picked the Special 2 Dips @ 2 Cans When I asked AHMAD THE SERVER for the Brio Pop He said that is not what we offer only Coke I was pissed off since this is not listed any where that there is an extra charge for Biro when you choose 2 Cans of Pop I had no issue at another location near by AHMAD THE SERVER also wanted $1.00 for Brio I think this is a Scam!!! I will not be returning to this location ever
I used to order from them for many years. Today I ordered a party pizza and when I received it I told him that the sun-dried tomatoes look burned, he answered that it needs to be well cooked for the flavor to come out. It tastes burned! Awful! They just lost a longtime customer.I wish I can write a complaint to the company directly.
