Walk in special single topping pizza is what we ordered while running errands in the area. It was our very first order from this store, and probably the last one. The pizza didn't taste good, they have overdone with sauce but not with the cheese which was the only topping! Very disappointing.
We got pick-up special large cheese pizza. We never had such worst pizza before. Not tasty, soggy, too much sauce but very little cheese. The only good thing is the temperature of the food, otherwise the $15.24 is a complete waste.
Great service by the lady at the cash counter named Shivani. I appreciate her promptness in reminding me to pick my diet coke from the front. Store employees keep the area, really clean, must check out the store!!! Keep up the good work 👏 🙌
We tried a regular pizza and a box of chicken trio. A little bit costly was around $33 with tax. Very tasty. Not a lot of space to sit though.
The food is average but their customer service is trash. If you take dine in then u wont have room to enjoy the meal and also two of the employees have an odd behaviour showing their attitude towards customers. I would not recommend this place for people who want to dine in and also because of the customer service. They do not also have the toppings like chilli flaxes which personally is not satisfying for me as a customer.
Picked up a couple pizzas yesterday. They are ok but a little thin on crust and also thin on toppings. This could be your style but I prefer a more body and taste. The big problem was the staff member who had to do everything, make the pizza, take the orders, cash people out NEVER changed their gloves the entire 20 minutes I was there. Handling cash to answering the phone to making pizza, handling all the toppings - the gloves never got replaced!!!! It was a real turn off!! Feb 23 - Pizza Nova has responded and will be addressing my concerns - thank you for your attention to this, improving food safety will benefit us all
Had a small pepperoni cheese pizza. Was not offered the walk-in special, you need to specifically ask for it I guess otherwise they charge you normal prices. The pizza was good for corner store pizza. Not something you’d go out of your way for. I enjoyed the pizza and I would go back. 3.5/5
Super fresh and ready slices! Very friendly service. Tried a new slice today but I haven’t tried before! “The Stinger” not bad, but wouldn’t be my first choice. I just don’t think the honey flavour was right for me. Very happy that I grabbed a second slice that I know hits the spot! If I’m in the beaches and I’m hungry, I will be back! Thank you for the wonderful service.
Loved the pizza with chicken toppings!
Exelent Pizza and owners
Popped in on Easter Monday...first time there bcz Otherside Pizza was closed...I got 2 cheese slices & they were so super dry, hardly any cheese and just down right tasteless and cheaply made even though each slice is $4.50 ....Please go to Otherside across the street if you want real hot authentic pizza with quantity cheese ...A No Frills frozen pizza would taste better than this reheated cardboard monster smh
Great fresh pizza
I went to my local Pizza Nova. Literally 2 blocks away for my usual pizza. I arrived at 10:30 pm. They close at 12am. They were out of cheese. So I said why not send your delivery guy to the nearest Pizza Nova location. Which happens to be 4 blocks east on the same st. I happen to they are both owned by same person. They wouldnt So I walked to the other location and ordered my pizza. Ill never go to the other again ( Coxwell and Queen st east).
Really not so great. Pizza slices were burnt and dried out and the dipping sauces very gelatinous. They didn t even stick to the pizza they were so jelly like. The wings, not even sure what I was thinking ordering these. On par with grocery store freezer wings.
The panzorrati I bought was burnt and had barely any cheese.. It was hard as a rock and they forgot what slice I ordered and told me 15min later then just gave me a pepperoni which is not what i paid for.. No napkins and no bag and no offer for either.. I wish this place burns to the ground.. Maybe they thought I was stupid due to my skin color and if I ever find out or hear theyre treating other paying customers like that there will be a problem
Good
Always a go to place for a tasty pizza..
Good sauce and proper amount of ingredients on pizza. The crust isnt bad either.
I used to come here every day for lunch, but after todays experience, I dont feel like I want to come back. The customer service has been always plain or careless, today I kindly asked the gentleman in turn if I could wash my hands and he allowed me, I asked for hand soap after trying many times, pumping the dispenser, and then then gentleman gave me an attitude saying no more hand soap and now He felt offended, he threw my ticket in the counter while doing other tasks looking a bit upset. Anyway, I dont care about his attitude, I understand I dont know whats going on with his life, but I care about how the staff is washing their hands. The place always looks dirty, but I was able to handle it.
Great pizza with thin crust. The staff is also amazing
Not bad
Great for a quick slice, and exquisite craftsmanship! For what might be considered a low brow joint, Pizza Pizza does it right ! My kids love it.
Unfortunately I ve been ordering from this location for 15 years - gets worse every year.. paid $35 for a med pizza w 4 toppings. I m never doing that again! I had to add more of the toppings I ordered and had to put it in the oven. Btw delisio pizza is better by far. Not even close. Like friendlys next door you will be out if business soon. Quality matters!
Driver was rude and pizza sucked.
Locked the door at 11:45 on Saturday sept 16 when they actually close at 1:00am. Not cool.
Got handed a bag of pizza slices which wasn t packed properly and it immediately dropped. The only response I got was it s not our fault . Make your own judgement on whether this is a business you want to support.
Despite being a few blocks away from us the pizza came cold ( and late but that was less of an issue.) Response from the location when we called about it was disinterest.
Im never going back to this pizza nova. I used to go to that pizza nova location regularly. Every trip, service and speed at that Pizza Nova location only continued to get worse and worse. The last five times I went there, it took 10 minutes for them to put my order in, after placing and paying for the order in the restaurant. Two trips ago, the manager was screaming and swearing at an employee either about a schedule, or a mistake for an order. He threatened to fire that employee, and encouraged him to quit. I had to step in to help what was going on. Three trips ago, two other customers were harshly complaining about it taking 15 minutes for them to punch in the order after paying. The employees werent that friendly compared to most pizza nova restaurants, and I regularly see customers walk out, changing their mind about eating at pizza nova. During the Summer season, there are swarms of mosquitoes at the ceiling, and they dont even bother doing something to get rid of them. The pizza nova phone service is an absolute pain when it comes to them asking do you want to buy extra sauce, do you want to buy any sides. I always get only 2 pizzas with no sides, no drinks, no sauces. If youre someone who always gets pizzas only, its so annoying that they always ask the same questions where my answers never change. Theyre trying to rip you off. I never use the phone service anymore just for that. Overall, I just didnt have a positive experience at this pizza nova location, and with the phone service.
No pizza slices even though its 2 hours from closing staff not in uniform. cashier had air pods in and was on phone not paying attention to my order.
Some of the worst pizza in the Beach. Even poorer since the change in ownership. Do you guys know that pizza is supposed to have sauce on it?
Good food
Good taste. Staff is very courteous.
Picking up is fine but their staff who deliver (not Uber eats/door dash/etc) are extremely rude, miss parts of the order and do not even notify you when your order has been delivered as its not trackable on any app. My food has sat outside while Ive been waiting for the order to arrive. This location has a lot to fix up. Id recommend you avoid this branch altogether.
The taste is delicious and the service is fast. 4 stars because of very few deals available for large pizza toppings.
My sons favorite pizza
Not too bad actually
AMAZING PIZZA here. FRIENDLY staff specially the Asian man in the afternoon. I think the bad review of other people are UNFAIR REVIEWS, as there are some irrational D bag people who you will see here at the beaches. I was eating Pizza Nova here and my friends for 6 months, and they loved it! Fast service too, just try it as a proof.
2nd time i tried to go to this location this month & 2nd time this guy is not wearing a mask. coworkers dont seem to mind edit: 5th time back, 5th time finding a maskless employee inside. my friend who lives in the area says its like that every day and doesnt go there anymore because of it. how could this problem be so persistent for so long? it is clear no action has been taken.
Recently ordered veggie and chicken pizza from pizza nova queen street. Veggie pizza was not cooked properly and it was moist. Didnt provide any tissues with order. Just make sure it is not happening again with any other customers.
Burnt pizza slice.
Great pizza
Love pizza Nova- whenever we order it comes from this location!
The Pizza is only 45 mins late. They dont have a manager at the store and they re not interested in making the situation right in any way. Good job Pizza Nova
One of the BETTER Pizza Novas around....
Great pizza, great service.
Delicious loved the crust being a little crisp. Nice personal. I give it a 10.
Took 25 minutes to prepare a basic cheese pizza. This happened when there was no other customer except one which came. After that when I asked for a catch up because I was doing the takeout he handed me 2 Pieces of small Heinz ketchup packets I asked can I have one more because I have kids to give it to them and I was flatly refused with an excuse that they don t have catch up at all. You are running a pizza shop and you don t have a catch up. Pathetic to say the least.
One of their delivery drivers almost hit us while we were walking on the sidewalk. After I asked him to not park on the sidewalk he got very aggressive, followed us in his car, honked at us, and threw insults at us. Please get your Pizzas somewhere else.
The very first and original pizza nova. I ve been coming here for my birthdays since I was a child. It is a Scarborough stable. Food and service is impeccable and the deep-fried panzerotti s are mind blasting!
My fave.& the nicest delivery persons in the business.
Ordered pizza and wings. Never arrived.
I dont like unhealthy food and people. It grosses me out.
Good tasting pizza , average price , much better than pizza pizza
Our neighbourhood has so many pizza joints, but Pizza Nova is our favourite. They also have a great fund raiser every Spring for Variety Childrens Charity (Variety Village).
Great taste
My past three experience are tonight. I was told to wait when I was the only person there and then was ignored. The last time I ordered large thin crust, I got regular crust and the time before that I ordered and paid for 3 dipping sauce but only got one. I will not be going back to this place again. Nor will I recommend this place unless someone is looking to be ignored, having a wrong pizza made with missing products youve paid for.
Service was great and everything. The pizza is just not.
Some pizza nova locations are better than others. This is not a good one. There is ZERO love in their pies. You probably couldnt put less sauce or cheese on a pizza if you tried. Being a cheapo on those essential ingredients to save a few nickles will cost them dollars in the long run. Try Casa Di Giorgio down the road, You wont regret.
We only ever stop in here for a quick slice while walking on queen. Always fresh and speedy.
Pretty good za lots of options for crusts and ingredients but average crust and dough
We always order by phone then go to pick up. Always a good product and ready at the time promised.
Very delicis pizza
Typical Pizza Nova, guy charges me 5% extra on my order. In the past, theyve told me any slice and then charge more because its a better slice. This time,I had the standard but still for ripped off.
Best pizza
This guy was scratching legs and head at time of entering premises. Who knows what else he scratches when no one is around. Pizza is expensive and not worth the money.
Consistently good quality of pizza, and service. Happy to drive out of my regular area to patronize the Dawes and Danforth location.
Went to the store today to complain about how all the cheese on the pizza got stuck on the bag. There was an older Asian man without a uniform behind the counter and said What do you want me to do about it? What kind of customer service is that? And a minute after that he just walked away and started yelling at his employees. If you cant cater to your customers why bother owning a business that deals with food.
Pizza Nova is the best in the neighborhood
small, busy, fast
Best Pizza in the Beaches
Delivered the pizza and their card machine failed after I entered my PIN number. They could not provide a receipt of the cancelled transaction. The delivery person insisted to return 10 minutes later with another machine, and still would not provide a record. Was very rude about it and after I tipped told me off for being difficult and he didnt want my money. What a waste of money and time. Order uber eats.
standard cheap but good pizza
Perfect. Fast and not much people inside.
Late night pie.
Good food
Killer za for a chain restaurant. also the customer service was great. they were really polite and held onto my glasses overnight when I left them there accidentally. top notch stuff, bruh.
The pizza was close to being raw. The bottom was completely white and very under cooked. We would have sent it back but we were very tired after a long day and didnt want to wait for a replacement. We were regular customers but never again. Super disapointed.
Service is ok but food is great
Decent location. Good pizza.
Not bad pie, then again not great.
One of the better Pizza joints. Love the Californian.
Great pizzas
strange that I am the first... Pizza is Nova standard... although our was more than well done... BUT the Customer Service is more than worse. We ordered two medium size pizzas and when we were at the place, we referred to the offer for two medium sized pizzas - they said we should have mentioned this before!! Now it is too late to get the offer?! (We had both only three topics and would have qualified for the offer) How inflexible is this??? Their answer... We should call Customer Service and complain.... Thanks... there are some Pizza Dealers around the corner which might be happy to have two new customers...and I am still asking myself what if you mention you would like the offer?! Are you getting worse or older ingredients?
