Pizza Nova in Toronto

The owners, or whomever operate the establishment, are rude and disrespectful. We arrived at 11:50 to order pizza and a drink. Once we were eating our pizza quietly in the corner, we were yelled at and told we had to leave at they were closing. The time was 11:56. Prior to our order we were not advised, Hey you have a few minutes to eat as are closing .If we knew the treatment we were about to receive, we would have ordered from another establishment. Once midnight came they turned off the lights and started yelling a bit more and told us they need work/life balance. We obviously didn t take that treatment and told them if you want people to leave perhaps close at 11:30. We left by 12:04. Very disappointed

Have ordered for pickup & delivery, and just walk-in every time has gone well. The staff are friendly and helpful. The food is fresh and tasty. The store is clean & orderly. What more can you ask for! FYI Like most, customer area is small & a little tight. There are a few stools and a ledge to eat if desired. Overall, a great Pizza Nova. Have been many times before, and will many times again!

Always order party size pizzas from this location for our events and for our team. Also order them for home too.. The same friendly familiar faces always remember their customers, and deliver the product with a smile. Always a consistently good product too. Just a great reliable option and cant go wrong.

2022 The lady that was helping me was very kind! She put all the seasoning that I wanted and she even drizzled hot honey for me and made my slice extra special! Thank you! Excellent service! 2023 Not only do they have the freshest slices but they also have a great selection to choose from! I couldnt decide on what was in the window and they came out with 4 different pies fresh from the oven. They would put out a few slices of each, so there were fresh slices across their selection. I thoroughly loved how well they maintained this as well as the great energy the staff had!! Thank you!!!

Find out who owns the store before you order, pizza nova is suppose to be an Italian experience, it was not! Food taste like it was from a different country. Not sure what restaurant it was, but in future I ll be asking more questions. Rice balls were the size of a loonie and did not taste like a rice ball atall. If this is what s happening to pizza nova, goodbye.

The pizza is tasty but the crust is paper thin.

KINDNESS at Queen & Broadview, May 29, 2023: Female staff member showed true empathy to one of the neighbourhoods less fortunate. The staff member wasnt patronizing, didnt call attention to her own charity or even say very much. She treated this person not only like a valued customer, but also as a human being. ...And that says a lot given the level of entitlement in this neighbourhood. Thank you to this Pizza Nova staff member for reminding us what real kindness and respect looks like.

I m so puzzled by the bad reviews. I ve been here probably close to 20 times and have had great pizza and even better service every single time. Staff is so kind and sweet, pizza s always been fresh and they keep it really clean. Of the three pizza places within a hundred meters, this one is my favourite by far.

The absolute worst Pizza Nova in the city delivery or pickup it s a nightmare. Horrible attitudes and extremely hostile / rude employees. The food is just as bad, save yourself the trouble and go somewhere else!!

BROADVIEW/QUEEN EAST Young female counter clerk is always rude, I once bought back a Med pizza because she didnt hear me say med pep pizza it comes only cheese I bring it back 2m later she immed says you didnt ask for pep I said Im a reg here and I always order the same and you always serve me you dont remember me she starts screaming at me no you didnt say pep are you kidding me acting like Ive never ordered here before and as if she would pay for the mistake what a joke for an employee never had this happen to me ever funny thing is she still works here jan 2022 even though I reported it to head office so much for customer service

Bought pizza. Pizza was good. Bathrooms were clean. Its a ... Pizza Nova.

The delivery service of this Pizza Nova is poor. They lose orders and dont refund money, so you have to waste your time calling customer service. One piece of advice, avoid paying them for orders in advance. By the way, the place looks dirty and the manager is a very rude young woman.

One the best options from the hood

Stopped here because we could get a Dairy free pizza for my daughter after we were disappointed with the fish and chip shop further down the street. We had the six slices for $18 which was so much bigger and better than a large pizza in the UK. We could mix up the slices from a selection and I had a bespoke daily free pizza made. All in all, a great experience. Thank you.

Best selection of slices, and very efficient and friendly service. There are a few Pizza Nova locations near me, and this is my preferred one, its always fresh, well stocked, and the place is nice and clean.

The bag of chips i got were soggy and inedible

Seems to be mixed reviews but we have only had positive experiences. Good quality ingredients, always on time for pick up and friendly service at the counter.

Had to wait 90 minutes for my pizza that didn t even come because they lost it. Will never order again. Had to talk 3 customer service people who gave me different responses. If you re going to take the chance do not pre pay.

Pizza Nova at Broadview and Queen is the best Pizza Nova location in Toronto. They make the best pizza. We order the same pizza regularly and it is consistently delicious. We ve tried other locations but were disappointed so no matter what part of town we re in we ll go the extra mile to the Broadview and Queen location. Great people and great pizza!!!!

Horrendous delivery service. Ordered a pizza online, never came after 30 or 40 minutes with zero confirmation email. Then ordered the same thing on SkipTheDishes and guess what, says pizza delivered but actually never came. Had to ask for a refund. Will never support this store or this brand again. Brutal.

Fresh, delicious and always consistent. This is one of the best Pizza Nova locations in the city for quality pies. Its been solid since it opened and replaced the legendary Dangerous Dans dinner a few years ago. You can always spot the manager in the back hard at work making sure everything is to his standard. Would recommend.

Guys, if I ask for LIGHTLY DONE crust, please do not burn my pizza! Two days ago we ordered a large veggie pizza and I specifically asked for the crust to be lightly done and what I received was burned dough at the bottom. We ended up eating the toppings only as we both hate the taste of a burned dough. They seal the boxes now, so it is impossible to check the pizza crust before paying for it. Not sure if we will be returning as this was the second time you did it to our pizza. On another occasion, the mushrooms on our veggie pizza had that weird, disgusting taste of old mushrooms left in a plastic bag in the fridge for too long, meaning they were far from being fresh.

I bought the readymade slices from this location & they were phenomenal Better than other competitors like pizza2, hut etc. The slice was soft & kinda juicy throughout! Topped with excellent customer service god bless you

The service is great but FYI if you want cheese on your lasagna you have to ask and pay extra. Thought that was a bit weird but its good lasagna.

food was burnt and we didnt get our drinks from the uber, we called the pizza place they were rude and said that s how it s done :burnt, black and dark brown panzerotti and pizza, no manners or politeness will never go back unless i walk and see what I pay for!

Extremely terrible experience. The cashier and girl I dealt with tonight was extremely unprofessional. I was walking into the store and I saw her taking a piece of topping off and eating it. This is the same pizza we as customers eat. I literally saw her taking her mask off and eating it!!!!! When I told her she denied and started yelling at me!!!! She said that she threw it out , when she ate it in front of my eyes !!! I can t believe that the pizza Nova staff has become one that has no mannerisms whatsoever. This was a very disturbing scene for me as a customer to experience. The girl was picking at food we eat!!! Please pizza Nova train your employees wirh professional ethics!!!

Saw a horrible experience, saw this one girl screaming at a customer when she saw her picking at the pizza slices displayed at the front. After seeing this, we left the place as well.

I have been coming to this Pizza Nova frequently for the past few months to get 1 or possibly 2 slices. Everytime I have ordered here I have always been extremely satisfied with the quality of the pizza and the customer service. Good work should never go under appreciated.

Quick service at a great price

This place is awful I was here with my kids the guy who rung up our order gave me two different totals another customer over heard and even defended me I was confused I asked for a receipt he said they were out of paper the manger came over asked what was wrong I said I ordered two walk in special pizzas and add on pop the cashier gave me two different totals when I ask for a receipt he says your out of paper I even said this gentaman here heard the whole thing. The manger then started talking to cashier in another language then walk to back if my kids were not with me wanting pizza I would have left but I had already paid. We got home I called head office they did nothing they offered us five dollars off our next order I said no thanks I work in hospitality and Ill never order from you guys again. Not acceptable

Very bad manager and staff

Tried once and its pizza taste is a lot better than other pizza joints. I ordered 2 pizzas and wings for take out and waited for about 15-20 mins. So the waiting time wasnt that bad.

Stay clear of the veal was lousy, dry and chewy wrong kind of bread taste like old pizza dough ordered mushrooms on it instead of peppers because I dont like them and was charged extra for 6 tiny dry mushrooms,,then I got shorted on the cheese ! Stay clear of the veal

I m not picky, but the pizza from here was absolutely garbage! Worst pizza I ve had in a long time. Paid over $40 for burnt pizzas, missing 2 drinks and the pizzelle Italian cookies. Heard that they re a new location so maybe that s why it was so bad. Advice to other future customers: avoid this location until they pull up their socks and learn how to do things better

Standard pizza. I asked for slices to take home to heat - in order to get an appropriate sized pizza box I had to pay extra. Sad customer service.

ordered a simple pizza for delivery over an hour ago from a location I could walk to in 15 minutes; it finally shows up ice cold; pathetic and I will never order from these a-holes again; sadly I am only even using them because the pizzaiolo beside them is even worse; is there nobody on the entire planet who can make and deliver a fu%king pizza? and really I wanted to give zero stars but the geniuses at google force you to click at least one; maybe they used to work at pizza nova?

Not my favourite. Service is slow - budget an extra 5-10 minutes for your meal. Pizzaiolo is a better, faster bet.
