Wood-fired Neapolitan-style pizzas made with simple ingredients & served in a bustling space.
Traditional neopolitan pizza in a relaxed and comfy atmosphere. Very reasonable prices. Well made cocktails. Gluten free options as well which is nice to see.
A prosciutto and arugula pizza should have both of those ingredients.! Where were they ?? Some basil isn’t arugula. Zero prosciutto is exactly that - zero!!! Sure I walked back and it was corrected. But come on !! I shouldn’t have had to do that. I live super close - a walk isn’t an issue. It’s the principle of I should not have had to go back. If I lived not walking distance that would have sucked to correct.
Pizza was good. I ordered the lemon ricotta on a GF crust. The gluten free crust was much better than most but still lacked flavor. My kids split a pizza and enjoyed it very much. It was very relaxed in there. Staff was very friendly and kind. Only complaint was a hair plastered to the inside of my cup that grossed me out but these things happen. I would eat here again but not often because it is a little on the pricier side for pizza. They do have some interesting flavor options though that I would like to try in the future.
Loved the food and the variety. They certainly know pizza and what tastes amazing. Would visit again given the chance.
Very disappointed with the pizza quality, I felt like I ingested a plate of grease, + the in house sausage looked more like ground beef. I finished it because I did not want to seem rude. Staff was nice, venue is quiet and clean but the one thing I came for was nice pizza, and sadly that didn’t happen.
Ate at this location the other day. The pizza I ordered was burnt on top and on both sides of the crust. We ended up sending it bsck. They were nice and gave us another pizza but the cheese wasn't melted at all and tbh was barely cooked. Also the restaurant wasn't busy, and since the ossington location is so good we felt let down. Overall, it was really disappointing.
Great pizzeria. The wood fire oven taste is so present it is the star of the pizza. I really enjoyed my visit there and so did my family. Flavors are spot on. Nothing was overwhelming or over seasonned. Service was very good, discreet, sufficient, and efficient. We will return we already promised each other that much. Hope you get to visit too. Let me know what you thought. Bon apetit.
Super cute restaurant, a very kid friendly, family-friendly vibe. Our waiter was very nice but he accidentally forgot to key in our food. So it was quite late. He was very apologetic and owned up to the mistake, so we figured maybe he was new. It was not a big deal. He was very sweet about it. The food i ordered was ok. It was a new spicey sausage and rapini pasta and I should have just stuck to their classic pizza. It was average tasting. My friends who are vegetarian ordered the cacio de pepe pizza and the beyond the meat pizza. They raved about the beyond the meat pizza but felt the cacio de pepe was just ok. We also ordered dessert, lemon ricotta cheesecake, and Tiramisu. The Tiramisu was a hit. None of us enjoyed the cheesecake.
Incredible & authentic Italian food! Great prices and service! Vegetarian options: Vegan options available. Food : 5/5 |
Excellent place, pizza, and service was good. Price more than decent.
Great pizza.
I had placed an order online through their website and had a wild experience with doordash that they use for delivery. Basically I ordered two pizzas and the delivery driver only brought one. When I pointed out they were missing half the order he insisted that he had to take the pizza he had brought with him to show the restaurant that he was missing half the order. He wouldnt let me keep the pizza that he had with him. He then proceeded to drive around completing other deliveries (I could see this on the doordash link I was provided) only to then turn up back at my door about 30 mins later (after his initial delivery attempt) to tell me that it wasnt his fault and I had to bring it up with Pizza Libretto. I called Pizza Libretto to tell them what had happened and Luis was an absolute angel and made sure that I got my order delivered quickly and a hot version of it too (since the original pizza had gone cold sitting in that drivers car). 10+ stars for Luis and Pizza Libretto. Negative stars for doordash.
Kinda expensive and not much flavour. We were sat downstairs which did not have the same buzzing atmosphere as upstairs.
Very good food, service was excellent, will definitely go again
Recently attended a private function at Libretto and was very impressed. Typically I dont eat out at Italian since its not so difficult to cook at home but our experience at Libretto had me change my mind. So fresh and so yummy. No added salts one usually finds when dining out. Definitely would go again and again. Dietary restrictions: Didnt have salt swell in my fingers after dining here.
Friendly place, very good service and good pizza.
Very disgusting pizza . !!! I felt sick
Great service, so kind and friendly. Pizza is ready so quickly.
We really loved their New York style Pizzas. The fact that they provide colour chalks for kids is a nice touch for families.
I got the wrong order on Uber eats and instead of a genuine apology she kinda just pushed it aside and hung up on me before I was finished talking , love their food but sadly this makes me not want to order from them again
Stopped in at the Danforth location. We ordered 3 pizzas + 2 kids meals. We got a Margherita + mushrooms, prosciutto and arugula and the lemon ricotta. Kids got mini cheese pizza and butter rigatoni. The pizzas were good and the dough had that typical tender with some good chew to it texture. Was a little disappointed with the lemon ricotta since the chilis kind of overpowered the lemon so all I really tasted was the pesto and spice - still tasty though. Our kids are 7 and 9 and devoured their meals in no time and we ordered an additional (full size) rigatoni pomodoro. Next time, well probably just order 2 of those in the future and go to baskin Robbins next door after dinner.
Delicious food and very personable staff.
4 but only cause seemed like slow service however I believe it was just under staffed for maybe what was unusual for the time of the week a Tuesday and place was packed. Its no wonder with the 2nd best pizza ever my wifes is first but the servers where very friendly and you can tell the know how to do there jobs. Experience was great thanks
Dropped in on a Sunday afternoon for an early dinner. Great pizzas!
Great food, great private room
Food was bland for an Italian place
The pizza was so good we went two night in a row. The gnocchi were so fresh, tender, and delicious.
Sooo much good this pizzas! The last one that we tried was Mushroom Pizza, (Sooo delicious) and now we try Prosciutto & Rugula with additional of anchovies, and was so good as well it s ok for 2 person
A bit too sparse on toppings
I ordered some pizzas through the website to pick up, however, when I got into the restaurant requested the server to instead of having it to go, we would like it to have the pizzas in the restaurant where there were 0 customers at the time. Don t quite understand why we couldn t have the pizzas in the restaurant. 0 starts for the service, what a shame.
Delicious as usual can get a bit loud and hard to have a conversation.
Last night, I had the pleasure of visiting libretto where I indulged in their Neapolitan-style pizza. I must say, it was a delightful experience! The crust was perfectly charred and airy, with that distinct chewiness you expect from a genuine Neapolitan pizza. The toppings were fresh and flavorful, beautifully complementing the tangy and rich tomato sauce. Each bite was a burst of flavors that transported me straight to Naples. The ambiance of the pizzeria added to the authenticity, making the dining experience even more enjoyable. If youre a fan of true Italian pizza, this place is a must-visit. Highly recommended for anyone looking to satisfy their pizza cravings!
Vegetarian options: Veg/vegan options including house made vegan cheese. Dietary restrictions: Gluten free option available. Staff helpful with any dietary restrictions. Wheelchair accessibility: There is a step to get into the restaurant but during patio season they likely could accommodate a wheelchair there.
Disappointed by the pizzas and pastas, I expected better
Great people, great food.
Came recently for a pizza margarita. The atmosphere in Danforth location is not bad. Pizza looks fine. I find the crust of the pie extremely elastic and doughy, and the sauce lacks much character. Just not a pizza for me perhaps . Service was quite ok.
The Impossible Vegan pizza was so good!
Went recently on a Sunday for lunch at 1PM with a group of friends. Stayed for hours. Awesome food with awesome servers and service.
The pizza wasnt that great as I thought it would be.
Absolutely no flavour
Best Pizza for ever
Personally, I think this is the best pizza place in Toronto.
We were a party of 7 on a Friday night. Lots of bustle but service was still friendly and efficient. Calamari starter was superb. The kids loved the margherita pizza. With wood-fired taste comes char and one in our party had lots of it with a soft centre and was not happy but did not want to wait for a re-order. It comes down to personal preference somewhat. Recommended.
Extremely rude staff. Gluten free dough? Food : 1/5
Ordered meatball appetizer (16.00 on menu) along with rapini (also an appetizer) as my main course. Was charged an extra $4.00 on my bill for the meatballs. When I asked the server why, he said that s the way we do it at night and the conversation was over. ?! Kindly put the actual prices on your menu. If I was charged for a main course serving of meatballs, I should have been advised / asked. Of course it s only $4 but that s not the point, transparency is. Otherwise, this resto is truly nothing but average. Lots of better places to eat in the neighborhood (where your bill isn t a surprise.)
Service was great. Food was great. That simple!
Went for my husband s birthday and had the best experience!! Amazing diovala pizza and they even made me a custom cocktail Kelsey was sooo sweet and made the whole night extra special :) thank you Kelsey!!!
Celebrated a birthday here. Great family restaurant, with high chairs and crayons to keep kids busy. Atmosphere was great and decor was beautiful Kid-friendliness: High chairs and crayons
This place used to be better. When Pizzeria Libretto opened in Toronto, it was exciting. But theyve gone downhill - more commercial with quality problems. For example, several of our takeout pizzas were really burnt (i.e., blackened crust), so we finally had to make a special request for non-burnt pizza. As another example, I ordered a traditional, mild pizza capricciosa several times, until the last one was topped with ingredients marinated in chili oil. Funny enough, the replacement pizza had the same problem. When were looking for spice, well head to a good Mexican or Thai restaurant. When were looking for fresh, high-quality ingredients in classic Italian cooking - well head somewhere other than Pizzeria Libretto.
Honestly, really not very good. The food was bland, cold and expensive and the waiter and management did the bare minimum. Do yourself a favour and walk the half block to Il Fornello... Same idea and much better.
I m obsessed with Pizzeria Libretto s pizzas! The crust is like heaven crispy on the outside, soft on the inside, and tastes just like Nonna s homemade bread. Seriously addictive stuff
Great pizza and arancini.
Amazing service and staff, was our first time but we will definitely return! Kid-friendliness: Their staff was super welcoming to kids! Food : 5/5 |
My favourites are nourishing niçoise salad and gluten free funghi pizza Thanks for your warm welcome Myles and staff Dietary restrictions: Gluten Free
I ve been here twice now and their pizza is on point both times. The service was a little slow the second time. The wine was OK but overpriced for how little you get. I would definitely return.
Staff were patient and answered all of our questions. The pizza bread itself is delicious, sopping up the crust with chilli oil was *chef kiss* We tried the Impossible Vegan and the Nduja Pizzas. Mocktails were satisfying as well. We would definitely return. Dietary restrictions: We were new to this joint and curious about the Vegan options. It did not disappoint. The in-house Vegan cheese is amazing. We tried the Impossible Vegan in the New York style (16 inch). They were able to accomodate us so 3 curious appetites could try the vegan option. Parking: For accessibility, take extra caution of the bike lane. During evening hours for dinner street parking is readily available and in the winter months many cyclists may not be expected. However take your time and scan the area thoroughly before getting in and out of a vehicle.
Amazing food!
Dough is like salty rubber. Crust is the same but burnt (black) and makes up the majority of the za. Almost no cheese or other toppings. Far from being $80 worth for delivery
Very nice experience. Food and atmosphere excellent.
DELICIOUS vegan pizza! I hope they add more options. The service was super attentive and quick, will for sure be back! Vegetarian options: Impossible meat vegan pizza
One of the few Pizzeria places where theyre certified authentic. Had an awesome dinner experience for my belated birthday party. Definately coming back again!
Pizza is always great here.
Staffs are awesome
Great tasting pizza, and crust to die for. Came recommend by a local friend and met the expectations. Now gotta try the rest of them on the menu.
Always perfect, always high quality food, always amazing service. Love this place so much!
While the pizza we ordered was not to my taste, the lunch special with arugula salad was so good. Very family friendly. Washroom is clean and with diaper change. Food
Very average taste, poor menu choice, wont come back for sure
The best pizza in Toronto & very friendly staff.
Yum! Ordered their vegan option and it was delicious. I d go back! Tasty and soft. Rustic and casual atmosphere. Most of the servers are great.
The experience amazing and the pizza is delicious! Service was perfect!
An amazing local spot. Warm atmosphere and friendly vibe from the staffs. Highly recommend Pizza Duck Confit, have never tried in any resto before. Best Tiramisu in town
Great atmosphere and service , super friendly. The pizza as I remember was always 5 until my last visit where disappointment showed its ugly head in the way of pizza arriving to my table without that wood fired oven scent and aroma. ...I asked whyyyy and got some stupid but honest answer about wood being expensive and difficult to deal with......but thats the reason big pizza fans do go to famous Libretto..... ! Please stick to your legacy of wood burning oven and awesome pizza! ....the quality ingredients made the visit enjoyable but not what I remember from Libretto. Right now Im sitting in San Francisco and after visiting Tonys pizzeria I have to advocate for Torontos best! Grimaldis in Brooklyn NY is also fantastic!!
Havent updated their online menu in over a year apparently, guy on the phone acted totally unprofessionally, didnt offer any alternatives to the options I was looking for and lost my business entirely. I dont give a **** how good the food is, the service was poor and I wont be giving them a second chance.
We popped in for lunch - had a pint of the on tap brew and had a couple pizzas which we shared. The pizzas were amazing, came out quickly and very tasty. It was our first time there so the waiter went into great detail about the various ingredients. We will be back!
We always enjoy going here when we have a craving for delicious wood fired pizza.
My partner and I went here for a late date night lunch/early dinner and were unfortunately disappointed. We went at a time that no one else was in the restaurant (4pm) and then they sat two families with young children right next to us on each side in an empty restaurant. We had the luxury of eating our meal next to screaming and crying children on either side of us, while the rest of the restaurant remained mostly empty. The food was okay, decent pizza, but not the best weve had for stone oven pizza. Tables for 2 were very small, and were pretty small (53 & 57), there was barely enough room for food on the table. We also asked if we could make a small change to our meal (regular cheese instead of vegan) to which they said no problem, but then they charged us $3 on our bill for it without letting us know prior. Ridiculous especially because by ordering regular cheese instead of vegan we saved them money and they charged us for it. They also charged us $1 extra for oat milk in our cappuccino, which is standard practice and to be expected, but didnt tell us ahead. The lowest tipping menu option was 18%, which we obviously tipped because atmosphere isnt inherently a server issue and Toronto is an impossible place to live without tips. Tldr: not a good date atmosphere, food was okay, not transparent about additional charges. Dont go here if youre looking for a date night / nice meal for two.
We went here for our anniversary and loved it. Delish pizza!
Amazing service and atmosphere!
Good food, a little too blad for my taste personally. Loved the Calamari tho.
I was really pleased to find a wood fired gluten-free pizza. Everything Ive had here is very tasty.
Loved the pizza here. Very authentically italian with fresh ingredients. Highly recommended!
The food and service was fantastic. We were originally seated next to a noisy table and our server switched us to a new seat no questions asked. Our server was very polite and professional. The food of course was fantastic, you cant go wrong with anything on the menu.
Ordered a gluten free pizza, was sent a traditional dough (gluten) pizza. Called to talk about it and placed on hold for over 10 minutes with nobody answering.
Ambience - 3/10 (The place was noisy and conversation was hard to make) Decor - 9/10 Food - 7/10 Service - 6/10 Final Verdict - Great place to go to if there isnt any other option in that area. The place is noisy and is almost pub like!! Wouldnt go back again.
Gave this place a try tonight and boy are we glad we did! This place has fantastic food and the atmosphere is great. The service is very good. My husband had the Fungi pizza and Kale salad, I had the Meatballs with crostini, everything served was very delicious. We will definitely be back! Thanks! P.s. Our beers were some local Pilsner they had on tap that week, very tasty but wish I had gotten the name to suggest it to you all
Good pizza and good atmosphere
The Pizza is amazing.
Love this place, went here sometime last year. Pizza was great and it was a quiet spot when I went. Waiter was really nice, would highly recommend! Parking: The area has some parking spots but it will generally be a 5-10 min walk.
Google says I was here but i wasnt. No opinion.
Calamari (the meat are just meh. Not a fan of this frying style. But love the sauce
One of the best spot in Toronto for pizza. Must try it. Ingredients are fresh and flavourful. Love the tomato sauce it s sweet just the way it should be. One thing if I can say I wish bottom was more crispy. Tiramisu serving size is good for 2 people. Make sure you try this spot, there are multiple locations. Vegetarian options: Veggie pizza
Hi dear friends good foods vy nice service
Really excellent pizza. Very fresh and soft dough. The toppings, although not very generous, are really tasty. Staff are friendly and the place is large. The main floor is quite noisy - not the best acoustics but apparently there is a more private downstairs area that I would check out next time. If you re looking for great pizza, this is a top spot!
Great service + the funghi pizza for the win!
I had some high expectations in dining here! A name like Pizzaeria Libretto is promising to be a higher and brand and for the prices that we paid, I feel a bit shortchanged. Do not get me wrong, the food was tantalizing the delicious. I had the focaccia and the buttermilk fried calamari. For the latter, [I will say this, this stellar dish beats fried fish and any other restaurant, crispy, not greasy, perfect balance of seasoning, nothing to fault here the dish was finished with unctuous Romesco sauce which had the right balance of acidity and had helped to cut the grease in the fry calamari. The herbal oil that they had added honestly I think was added just for color but it did nothing for the dish and I think should be omitted. The drinks were the highlight of my experience as they had a great array of cocktails, wines as well as digestifs. And the drinks were consistently coming... The theme of asking you she will receive, was consistent with the drinks My friend had the fungi pizza and I had treated myself to the Roccos Nicoise Salad.... Yes yes folks.... For my to do a review considering I had a salad at a pizzeria.. Fear. I like my liquid calories what can I say and I am going to cut corners somewhere! The salad was well seasoned,, lovely marriage of flavors of sweetness of the dressing with the darkness of the tomatoes and the salty brininess of the tuna. So where it did not go wrong last night?? What had happened to warrant 3*not of 5?? I have dined at Liberato on Augmentin and I will see this, service was much much faster at the other location than the 1 in Danforth. I had to wait over 20 minutes to get my for Foccacia bread which I had wanted as a starter and as a lovely accompaniment to my wine. By the time it had arrived, I was looking at the bottom of my bone dry glass. I was also hoping to sample some of the dessert offerings and it was a disappointment upon ordering and waiting to hear how many of the desserts were no longer available. It feels like a let down especially when you are paying hefty price for the experience there. Now I will say this the servers are lovely human beings... Very amiable, giving is helpful recommendations from the menu and are even willing to share their knowledge on which client would care well with what ever just reordered.. No complaints against them. I just feels there needs to be better organization between the kitchen and front of the house staff. So will I come back to Libretto? I would as they had a few dishes that were memorable but I do hope that they promised to offer the options on the menu that they have advertise
Service a bit slow but it looked like they were down staff - to be expected these days sadly. However overall it was an enjoyable experice. Had the limoncello spritz and the prosciutto & arugula pizza.
My go-to spot for pizza on the Danforth. Has a great vibe, cozy and inviting, and the staff are always friendly and attentive. They make sure youre comfortable and happy with your order. The dough is really something else. You can taste the care and attention they put into making it. So crispy and chewy. Great flavour that and toppings. Theres a good range of options to choose from. I always go for the classic Margherita. On my last visit, I did get seated next to a really loud couple, which kind of detracted from the experience. But thats not Librettos fault, and overall, I still had a good time. Libretto is definitely worth checking out.
Fantastic pizzas.
Good atmosphere. Great pizza.
Incredible pizza! I was smiling all evening because it really hit the spot! Definitely coming back! Servers were friendly too!
Excellent Pizzas
Very friendly and knowledgeable staff. Delicious stone baked pizza, whats not to love?
Incredible. Worth the money. Go for spritz happy hour on weekdays!!
The pizza looked gorgeous but was pretty bland. The highlights of the meal were the starters, especially the fried gnocchi! I highly recommend trying those out. The arancini and the meatballs were tasty as well. Food : 3/5
Best pizza!!! Love the spicy sausage. My local favourite.Great, knowledgeable staff and excellent customer service experience.
Great uptown place.. its not your 241.. its hand crafted piZza Nice coctails, welcome back to city living Food
The pizza I ordered through your website on June 10, at 9:34pm, arrived in terrible conditions. Like someone just kicked the box. Everything inside was squeezed on the left side, sauce and topings printed on the corner of the box. Delivery guy/dasher Ashok.
Great Napolitan style pizza. Delicious. A bit overpriced ,nabbing 30 dollars for a pizza, but its an upscale pizza place. Dubai standard interior
Dietary restrictions: Great gluten-free pizza crust. Food
Really good quality pizza, tried the vegan margherita and was really impressed by the cheese. Service was friendly and food came very quick!
I have been once before and wanted to take my kids out for dinner on a nice Friday evening in June. When I asked for a table for four the host greeted me with I dont think so. I was not given a wait time, or an approximate time to come back but with a I dont think so.... The food is probably still as good as I remember it from before, but the service.....
Modern pizzeria that offers traditional Neapolitan style, brick oven pizzas. This trendy little spot brings the classic and simple taste of the local Italian cooking and ingredients to our Canadian tongues. Located in the heart of the Danforth neighbourhood, this place definitrly adds to the atmosphere of this well-known community. Came for a dinner visit with a group of 4, which they were able to accomodate comfortably. They have a decent amount of tables and space inside the establishment, and a little patio area outside with a more limited seating. Interiors bring a very trendy vibe with a darker atmosphere, a bar, and an open kitchen that showcases the two brick ovens in the back as focal points. They also havr more seating space downstairs and well-maintained restrooms for guests. Atmosphere 5 out of 5. The servers were really friendly, as we were greeted fairly promptly upon our arrival. Food came at a decent time after ordering, and all our dishes came in hot, fresh and all at the same time. Kudos to the kitchen and dining staff that allowed for that whole experience to happen smoothly. Only suggestion would be to have a designated hostess / greeter that could make the seating arrangements more efficient, since we did wait a few minutes at the front before we got seated by someone. Service 4 out of 5. For our food, we started off with a plate of gnocchi fritti with chive creme fraiche as our appetizer. Loved the sauce and even saved some of it for my pizza. However, the actual plate portion seemed scarce to share and the gnocchi size felt too small. It almost tasted like fries due to the smaller cuts. For our main courses, we had the opportunity to order and try four different types of 12 pizzas (duck confit, funghi; Nduja and pepperoni both with gluten free dough). I personally ordered the Duck Confit pizza and enjoyed every bit of it. The duck was very tender and the roasted peaches gave the nice sweet accent to it, wishing that there was a bit more peaches on the pizza. We also had chili oil and flakes on the side which we advantageously used for our pizzas. However, the chili oil was not spicy enough for my liking. I had to add more chili flakes on it & the pizza just to give a nice kick of spice to each bite. The Nduja and pepperoni pizzas were also very good, especially the gluten free crust that impressed our whole table. However, the funghi pizza did disappoint, since the base cheese felt a little too dry and there were not enough mushrooms as toppings. Food 3 out of 5. Vegetarian options: Most of their appetizers & specialty pizzas are vegetarian. Dietary restrictions: They offer gluten free and vegan alternatives / options.
Price is too high for what they offer at least for pizza which was what we had.
We order the daily specials pizza which was apple, bacon and cheese. The pizza wasnt bad, but it seems that something was missing in terms of flavors. Price wise I dont think it is worthy $22 for the size of the pizza.
Great service from a girl with mexican background love it!
Vegetarian options: Good selection of vegetarian and vegan options Food
Friendly and very accommodating. The pizza was delicious!! Will definitely return for the pizza!!
Great food in a relaxing dining experience.
Food/pizza os great but we waiting 10mins before the menu was provided to us.
I think this one of the best pizzas I ever had! Attention it s not the best but good enough, but bro, this pizza is incredible! I comeback every time!
Excellent dinner with a friend. I went with the vegan option and was excellent. I went for the large, so only order if you are famished. But takeaway box was always offered as well
Both of our hostesses were great
GOOOO for their Retro menu this week, what a throwback, even better than it was 15 years ago!! Please bring back these items permanently!!!
We love the pizza here - good atmosphere, great staff. Parking: This Libretto is located on the Danforth by Pape - parking can be challenge but it is available. Food : 5/5 |
Weve been going to this Libretto for years and it is always consistently great. Still the best pizza in Toronto, in my opinion, and the apps and salads are also excellent. Its always a lively space with a good mix of customers from all demographics and ages. The staff are friendly and professional, even when the place gets very busy.
So I have been eating at this location for years and have never had a problem until the other night. I ordered the gnocchi in the white sauce, usually it s amazing, literally mind blowing but today it was not. It was like eating pockets of congealed slime. When I complained about it, the manager that night came over to my table and actually said to me that the gnocchi was made together ( my kids ordered it as well but with the red sauce) so if there s was ok mine is fine. Let me tell you a little something I might know about gnocchi. First off it s made with potatoes so it s a heavy dough. Second if they are not all the same size, others take longer to cook. So I said that s fine, paid for my meal and left. By the way did I mention it was my birthday? I could say that ruined my day, but it didn t. My waiter was fantastic but the manager needs a bit more training in customer service. Will not be returning ever again.
Amazing pizza, beautifully prepared cocktails, my favorite family-size tiramisu. Love this place!
Cute lott place, pizza was really good! Service was great! Definitely recommend!
Great pizza
One of the better pizzas in the city for sure and I really like their specials always check them out on their website before you reserve or ask your waiter/waitress. For example half price wine on Wednesday nights is a great deal.
Found the pizza here to be quite nice. Nothing special but nice. What would rule me out coming back again was the price. For 2 12 pizzas, a glass of wine, a tiramisu and a diet coke it was close to $90. Think Id rather go to Dominos and get some beers in instead.
Very friendly with good neopolitan pizza
Good vibes, good pizza, and service was good! Also a good spot for groups, we were able to get a nice table for ten downstairs, without a reservation :O
A great neighborhood choice for pizza. Made in their pizza oven, which you can see when you peak into the open concept kitchen. I had the funghi pizza with gorgonzola which was delicious! You dont see white pizzas on the menu very often. Service was super friendly.
It was a nice evening with friends and loved ones. Service could have been a bit faster but I will say our server was very lovely and helpful. Dietary restrictions: My partner had the gluten free/gluten friendly crust (which I tried) and it was delicious.
I met my wife there.
Went for pizza and drinks before a concert the other night at Danforth Music Hall. My friend and I picked Pizzeria Libretto as we knew the menu had a vegan option for me. Service was fantastic - our server was super proactive, noticing a wobble in our table before we even did and fixing it immediately. We had also made some initial conversation with her and she picked up that I might have a dietary restriction and asked me about it. She also took a moment to mark on the order sent to the kitchen that I had a restriction, which I really appreciated. We got the Impossible pizza which was soooo good. The crust is so light and crunchy, and their vegan cheese went way beyond my expectations. There was enough to take home and I also appreciated that their takeout boxes have reheating instructions - such a cute/useful touch. The cocktail menu was great as well, lots of classics and twists on classics, so you really cant go wrong.
Yummy
Literally of taste of Napoli and real authentic Italian pizza in Canada!
Awesome service!
I am Neapolitan and seeing the brand you have outside at the venue I thought I was eating a good pizza, but I was wrong. really shameful to bring a cold and dry Margherita that looks nothing like Neapolitan, (not to mention that you only have canned beers) , I did not want to complain because I was not alone ,so I preferred to pay for the frozen pizza and leave and never come back. For the authentic Neapolitan pizza brand talk, I contacted the office in Naples because they have the right to make more selection, and in Toronto unfortunately, too many unqualified people have this brand.
Tried the Nduja pizza at the recommendation of my host which turned out to be excellent. Their espresso corretto and vanilla panna cotta were pretty good too
so OVERRATED !! the quality of the pizza is horrendous with burnt bottom and really overpriced STAY AWAY OF THIS PLACE NOTHING hits the target!
Love the pizza here!
Pizza Libretto on Danforth is a real gem. The place has a cool, upscale vibe but still feels welcoming. Their wood-fired pizzas are amazing think perfect crust and super fresh toppings. The pasta dishes are just as good, and the service is friendly.
I had a reso for 4 people. However another friend ended up coming with us last minute. I asked the restaurant if they could squeeze her in. I ve done this on many occasions and they ve always accommodated. I get that it s a bit of a pain. However, guy wearing the hat would have none of it. Said to put another chair at the table would impede on his servers getting around. I understood and said we could do three one side, two on the other. Again he said no. At that same time there was a table beside where we were trying to sit with a toddler who was continually running around, which would definitely and dangerously impede on the servers getting around more than an extra body at the table. Hat guy offered no alternative. The restaurant wasn t overly busy, fyi. I then asked a nicer waiter if we could then sit two at the bar and three at the table which was finally agreed to. The two people at the bar got served both drinks AND food before the people at the table even received drinks. The Barman serving at the bar, and the nice waiter made up for the sourness of hat guy. Other friends were joining us a little later, so our waiter kindly put two tables together so that the two sitting at the bar could now join in the fun with the other 3 who joined us. Hat guy was all but frothing at the mouth at this and came to tell us this was not happening. However we got to stay in the end and enjoy the rest of the dinner, with relative peace, free of hat guy and his glaring. Overall a decent spot. Food was good enough as were the drinks. I do hope Hat guy gets some help in finding inner peace and happiness. :) Vegetarian options: Good vegan options! They offer vegan cheese on pizzas and salads.
Great service, delicious pizzas, relaxed and warm atmosphere.
Great pizza with inventive toppings and knowledgeable staff
Traditional Italian food, every dish was perfect and tasted as a classic dish should taste. The cheesecake was absolutely amazing and the ambiance and service was great especially on a Monday! Thanks to our server and compliments to the chef for executing such an amazing experience! I d highly recommend the cheese cake was a highlight to my 29th birthday I ll remember that for the rest of my life big thanks
Very good pizza and excellent service by a young man.
Long wait at restaurants also they gave a priority for dining persons if you order online you have to wait a minimum of hour and half and get frozen pizza
My favorite spot to indulge on pizza. Food is reasonably priced, service is prompt and friendly! Great BANG for your BUCK! Food : 5/5
What a Hidden Gem and Peter is an amazing server!
Really good choice for dinner - fresh, delicious food, together with a decent selection of wines and beer. Loved the choices of digestives for after dinner. It was noisy, but thats not a negative - the place is alive and it feels good to be around people. Definitely an earned 5*
