Was here last saturday seated at the front. service by Jake was great! Very helpful and accommodated to our needs.

Very good food. The calamari was a great start. Fresh and lightly breaded. You can t go wrong with the pizza but if you re looking for cozy, the pesto gnocchi was melt in your mouth.

The Neapolitan pizza we ordered was okay-the crust was just right and the toppings were balanced. The service could use some more improvement. Took a while for someone to acknowledge us when we first came in even if the place wasn t busy. The happy hour drinks were decent. The washroom downstairs needed a thorough cleaning.

I ordered two Neapolitan style pizzas for takeout and the staff could not have been nicer. It was a Saturday evening and it was busy, but they made sure my pizzas came out quick because we could not find parking and were idling nearby. The pizzas themselves were great, I got the pepperoni and the funghi, both were not spicy but they were flavorful. Will keep coming back.

I booked a large party (18 ppl) for a celebratory lunch. I just want to say that the Manager was great with communication, and made it easy to book the larger party. The atmosphere at the Ossington location is great, we were there right at lunch time and it felt cozy and inviting. The service was great, we were well taken care of and not one person left unsatisfied. If youre ever thinking of booking a larger party, Pizza Libretto is definitely a great space to do it! Kid-friendliness: They have a kids menu, and pizza coloring pages and crayons which was definitely appreciated.

Server spilled a tray of drinks all over our table and the juice plus beer and broken glass rained over our kids. We offered to move so they can clean up. It would have been nice if they offered to comp part of meal or even a free dessert. The atmosphere was excessively loud. Pizza was quite burnt on some parts. The kids ice cream tasted like it had melted then frozen again. Not going back any time soon.

Great atmosphere and service. The pizza was extremely average tho. Not a lot of taste and a big soggy. The worst was Diavola which instead of nduja had hot sauce

Amazing vegan options!

Been here before but a while ago. Came tonight and had the beet salad, gnocchi and a small pizza. Salad was fresh and tasty! I enjoyed the sauce paired with it. The gnocchi was good as well! Very soft and flavourful. The pizza was also good but I felt it could have been better. The pizza had a lot of flop to it. The middle of the pizza was pretty much soaked by the juices and sauce. Overall I would probably check out some other pizza joints near by but I would still recommend this place to those who like wood fired pizza to give this place a try!

Consistently great. My favourites: white pizza with home made sausage and caramelised onions. Sicilian wine and tiramisu. Service is always great. Update: still one of the best pizzeria in Toronto. Ordered a Marguerita, House made sausage, tiramisu and espresso. Superb as always. Staff is very cutesy, demure and mindful.

The neopoliton style pizza was great, the braised beef rigatoni was fantastic

The food here was divine, they were very accommodating for any allergies and sensitivities. The staff was kind, knowledgeable, and just all-around lovely. This would be a great place to bring your family, or a cute date night. I would recommend this to anyone looking for some good pizza. Their desserts were also amazing!

Bought a pizza, salad and calamari as take I out. Everything was fresh and tasted amazing!

There was a fly in my drink I wouldnt even know unless my friend pointed it out!! On top of things it was hard to find someone when you needed anything. Lastly, Feels like the fly deserved a discount but no!!!! Avoid!! Food

Service was fabulous. Food was meh. I got the spicy salami neapolitan pizza. While I was expecting a thinner crust since it was neapolitan pizza- the dough was almost translucently thin and quite greasy. Toppings were also lacking: I didnt taste much spicy and had only one basil leaf on the whole pizza.

I had again the Margherita pizza, and being from Napoli myself, it is about 80% close to the real thing.

Cozy atmosphere in a cool neighborhood. The service was pleasant and responsive. As for the kitchen, we had two very good Neapolitan pizzas with a nice thin crust and tasty toppings. I recommend this Italian restaurant.

I had heard a lot of praise for this place and decided to check it out after reviewing their delicious menu online. The service was good. Pretty ambiance (with friends, family or dates). We ordered focaccia and I ordered a side of pickled chili. Amazing. The hummus was delicious with fried onions and dried tomatos (even though it was not traditional but way too good). We ordered lemon ricotta pizza to share and the flavour was bomb. The pizza base (and dough) can use some improvement but otherwise 9/10 overall. Will definitely return and recommend to others.

Gotten take out from this place a few times and it never misses. The pizza is phenomenal and so traditional! Great wood fired pizza.

Pizza here was pretty amazing I tried it by the slice for the first time at eaton center food court and didnt like it at all, went to the actual restaurant a few weeks ago ordered the Hawaiian, it was amazing! Having it fresh in the restaurant made a huge difference, so far pizza libretto and blondies pizza have been top contenders for pizza.

I ordered sweet and spicy salami pizza, it was very good, the price was a bit expensive, and the waiter was very kind.

I ordered a Diavola pizza which was delivered cold. Not worth the price

Ordered and had it delivered via Uber eats. Arrived and it was barely warm...umm...maybe not a great idea to let your pizza, with your reputation at stack to be delivered by bike! The Hawaiian pizza was burnt, sides and crust. The Divalo was undercooked on the bottom. Both pizza has slid to the sides of the box, we had to try and slide them over without handling each slice. Will never order from libretto via Uber or the Ossington location. Clearly they are not checking or overseeing the quality that they are pushing out the door.

Reall Italian pizza amazing place and stuff

This was our first time here. The food was fantastic. We had a very innovative pizza with a lemon ricotta topping that was really amazing. The crust was perfect. For dessert, there was a somewhat deconstructed lemon cheesecake that was very light and subtle. Full marks for the food. More importantly, our server Sara was friendly, efficient and very attentive. We had a great experience and will return with friends. Thank you.

The worst vegan pizza ive ever had. Flat crust, boring sauce, tasteless white chunks that I refuse to believe are vegan cheese. I found blondies and levant s pizza way better!

The 12 pizzas are the best Ive had outside Italy. Were regulars, and this place is consistently spectacular. (Its become a bit hard to enjoy pizzas in other places, to be honest.)

Truly a 5 star experience. Highly recommend! Great food, great service and great atmosphere! We were craving Italian food and we are glad we chose this place. We ordered 1 pizza and 2 gnocchi plates and we were FULL afterwards and very satisfied. The pizza selection is big but the pasta is limited. The drinks we tried were non alcoholic but were very creative and tasty.

Went there last night for dinner and honestly disappointed with the slow service pizza was alright. Calamari was good. Arancini balls had a bacon after taste. From my table I could see the servers eating pizza in the back and and right after carrying out plates. For 60$ for my tab I ll go somewhere else.

I went for happy hour as a solo adventure and truly wished I took photos because Im afraid my words wont do this restaurant justice. I had a few items and besides being reasonably priced, they were all exceptionally delicious! I started off with an Arancini and a New York cheese pizza slice. They were beyond what I expected and presented in a beautiful way which tantalized my eyes even before my stomach was able to enjoy them. I ended my meal with a lemon ricotta cheesecake followed by a perfectly balanced decaf cappuccino. The cheesecake was amazing and not too sweet with drizzled wildflower honey from Rosewood Winery which was an incredible touch. The cappuccino had an amazing balance on my pallet without any bitter after taste that I usually encounter when enjoying a decaf beverage. I truly, truly, highly recommend this restaurant and encourage anyone reading this to come down and enjoy an amazing experience just like the one I enjoyed because I guarantee, you will want to make this a regular spot. Whether its a solo food adventure like the one I enjoyed or a day/night out with family and friends, this place is a definite spot to hit up and try out. You wont be disappointed! The staff are amazing and friendly, the food is delicious and visually stunning! I will definitely be back to try out more items on their menu! Kid-friendliness: Witnessed many families enjoying time together and kids drawing their own pizzas with supplies they provide. Wheelchair accessibility: They have a ramp outside to accommodate wheelchair accessibility needs.

A gem in the neighbourhood, Pizzeria Libretto offers a cozy vibe and spectacular pizza. The neapolitan pizza is my go-to, with its unexpected yet delicious topping combinations. Great value for the price, and the quality of ingredients is evident in every bite. Will return for more :)

Lovely quiet spot with decent pizza.

Pizzeria Liberator lives up to the hype. We got the spicy salami and nuduja pizza and both were fantastic. Service was surprisingly fast since they have to make each pizza from scratch and we will definitely return

The receptionist wasnt nice at all. We were a big family with stroller. I understand its annoying to them. But we were still customer she should have shown some respect to us. But she didnt. I could tell she didnt want us to get in. But the food was fantastic!! And the server was nice. Kid-friendliness: They had a kids menu and crayons.

Pizzeria Libretto is a top choice for great and cheap pizza it s beef carpaccio is so delicious and the focaccia is only three dollars it s so affordable I frequent their location on University and I think it s now my go to place for Pizza dine in

Good food, small menu, aperol spritz was great, good pizza, pricey but it s downtown Toronto

Mildly disappointing. Pizza was decent but Ive had better for the same price. Got the gnocchi bites as well and that was actually bland, textures okay, but bland. Is it suppose to be like that? The cheese cake is just cream with some crumbles on top. Theres no base, wheres the actual cake part? Unreal. Its just cream! The only redeeming dish was the calamari. That was actually good. Overall a disappointing buy. Ill opt for other pizzerias over this one. Was actually debating picking this over Leveto pizza but I get that all the time and thought Id try something new. I totally regretted it.

The people working here are a bit irritable, everything is very nice, the lady at the cash register acts like a misanthrope.

Went there twice. Once was a dine in. Food cane quickly and was great and the staff was very friendly. Second time was pick up, ordered Hawaiian NY style, probably the best pizza I ve had in a while. Went 15 minutes after I ordered online and it was already ready!

Updated Review: after a bad experience from the second takeout (burata marinara) , the manager personally came and spoke about the previous order and ensure that this time the burata was cooked properly. Really appreciate the customer service as well as the food! Will be returning for many more of their amazing napoletana pizza

vegan pizza is so yummy!

I m italian, from Naples, trust me when I tell you this place is not good. The service is good and the restaurant is nice, other than that, the pizza is terrible, although the dough looks like actual neapolitan pizza, it s chewy and tasteless, all of the toppings were tasteless too, besides the nduja that was on my pizza which gave the pizza a little bit of flavor, but it wasn t spicy at all. Mi chiedo come abbiano fatto a essere riconosciuti dall AVPN, dovrebbero smontargli l insegna come Zalone in Norvegia

Unfortunately wasn t what we expected - went for New Year s Eve dinner and it was very average and over priced for what we got :(

Great Italian pizza restaurant, pleasant interior and has a solid huge pizza oven. The pizza was great, had meatballs and olives for appys. They have Hendersons Best and Pilsner on draft.

Lovely pizza restaurant! We had the diavola and it was absolutely delicious. The crust was perfect. We also ordered the duck confit pizza but it was too dry tasting - it s ok though because we knew it was a risky choice. Some sauce on top would have been nice. The service was awesome and the vibes were on point. Will be back!

I havent been to a pizza place for quite a while however when this was brought up by my friends I thought sure why not grab some pizza and drinks. I was honestly impressed by the service and quality of food that we had. Im looking forward to going here again

Pizza is mediocre. Would probably go to any chain over this. The price per pizza is about $22 and is large enough to only fill a child.

Loved the pizza! And the hospitality was amazing.

Good ambiance, we (2) were able to be seated as walk ins late on a weekday night. Ordered two pizzas, funghi and margheritta as well as a bottle of montepulciano from 2019. It was on the expensive end but enjoyable and cozy yet aesthetic and high end vibe. Would go back. The space is nice too. We also tried their tiramisu, it was delicious but even the smaller portion a bit too much for two people. Great to share.

What can I say about this overall experience. In one very simple summary word : awful. I really struggle to find a better / fairer word (perhaps) to describe the chaos my family and I have been through this evening so let s take the time to describe this painful experience. - general ambiance: extremely noisy decor / atmosphere but let s face it this is just no-one fault and it is what it is. - waiting time: waited for 1h+ before getting our pizzas. Luckily we didn t order anything super fancy. Who knows how long that might have taken - pro activity: nil. We asked more than once for a status update on our pizza. The latest update was flaky and inaccurate. Waiter was unable to give us an ETA for our food (after the 1h wait ) - quality of the pizza: average. Chewy dough, pizza came lukewarm / almost cold. - quality of waitressing : very underwhelming. (i) Our drinks came 15min after we ordered them, ice melted already and it was given to us at it is. We had to ask for fresh glasses. (ii) no real accountability in terms of providing status updates or accurate information when requested. ==> overall: we do not recommend this place unless if you like some good tunes (their playlist was perhaps the only thing that kept me waiting that long - ironic isn t !)

We got the Diablo pizza - the server mentioned it was spicy but when we ate it, it was beyond edible spicy that we were feeling faint (this is coming from folks who are Korean and good w/ spice). It definitely was not an enjoyable meal :(. The overall atmosphere was nice and the tiramisu was house made and delicious. Highly dont recommend the Diablo lol but worth checking out if youre nearby.

Got the Duck Pizza and the Kale Salad. Salad was super flavourful and refreshing. Pizza was very good too. Only downsides are It gets super loud and very warm due to the Woodfire oven. Overall pros outweigh the cons here though so still 5 stars.

One Saturday evening, two hungry ladies went out for dinner. Being unsuccessful at a near by taco place (waited over an hour and they basically forgot our food), left to find an other restaurant to satisfy their hunger. Saving the evening, enter the amazing staff at pizzeria libretto. They took two hungry girls off the street, gave them an amazing pizza and an amazing experience. Thank you to the gentleman who didn t turn us away at 9:30 (sorry we didn t get his name), & our fantastic waitress Sara! Must try the chocolate sorbetto! These two ladies will definitely be back!

Service very slow and inattentive. Had the diavola. Covered in a Buffalo wing sauce. Couldn t even see the toppings. And prosciutto arugula. Had to ask for more arugula because they literally put 6 leaves on it. Junction location is way better

Not sure what the hype is about this place. Pizza took over 45 mins to come to the table and alongside that it came out cold. Wanted to wave the waitress down to throw it back in the oven to heat it up but she was no where to be seen. Service wasnt the best either. Our waitress didnt come to check in on us once. Its a casual place and great to have a quick bite at the bar but definitely not worth the wait.

Atmosphere is gorgeous. Servers could be more attentive and the food was good but overpriced a little. Not bad overall.

Very strange occurrence happened here with the bald man, who I can only suppose is a supervisor or manager, after seating my Mother, my partner and I - my mother made a joke that she was out with her « two boys » (being my partner and I, to which there is an age gap), to which this man said « well one of you looks good, the other » and dropped the menus and left us seated. The implied statement was that I looked good whereas my partner didn t? It was so strange to be treated this way, on a seemingly special occasion as it was Mothers Day. We were in good spirits upon arriving and immediately felt awkward afterwards. I wrote to the operations manager to make them privy of the occurrence, in a professional but detailed email. That person never replied, not even with a thoughtful response expressing any interest in our discontent with the situation. The pizza is good but the service is clearly quite off. What kind of establishment insults their guests upon seating them? Frankly bizarre and won t be dining there again nor would I recommend it.

Pizza came out burned on the bottom. Waiter 1 said its normal, waiter 2 recognized the issue, apologized and offered to take it off the menu. Its normal for neopolitan pizzas to have leoparding which is small burned areas but not to that degree. I appreciate they have vegan options and it came out fairly fast. As this is a premium priced pizza I would expect no errors. For $20 I would rather go to Blaze Pizza and get unlimited toppings for $17.

The pizza was burnt and the burrata was cold and didnt taste good. The server took so long to get the machine to pay that I had to pay online just so that I can get out. Service and food, both needs improvement.

Delicious food, amazing atmosphere, fantastic prices (especially for the area)! Servers had a great attitude, but food took a while to arrive and had already cooled off quite a bit. That was probably just due to a dinner rush. I didnt mind it, but if thats a problem for you, maybe avoid going when its super busy.

Stopped by around 1pm and only three other tables were taken. Ordered 2 pizzas and it took almost 45 minutes. We asked for our leftover pizzas in a to-go box and accidentally forgot it when we walked out. We went back and they had tossed our box. Not the greatest experience after spending $80. I don t recommend this location but have had a better experience at other locations.

Consistently excellent. Our go-to for Neapolitan pizza in Toronto and the frozen ones are awesome in a pinch. Always keep a few on hand just in case for those 2AM emergencies.

Anchovy pizza (first time trying anchovy pizza. With only four pieces, didn t really get the flavour. The pizza dough and tomato topping are decent, but overall underwhelming

Pretty nice pizza spot on ossington. my favorite was the gnocchi and the diavola pizza. Be mindful the diavola pizza is quite spicy. Pizzas are a decent size but the classics are relatively tiny

We have always enjoyed the food at Libretto. I was surprised that the price on the menu for the Aperol Spritz was a dollar less than we were charged. I noticed after we had already paid and pointed it out to our server who simply said she didnt understand why that was. For a dollar I wasnt going to fuss. Hopefully it will be addressed for future patrons. Wheelchair accessibility: There is one big step to enter the building so not really accessible.

One of my favourite places for getting Neapolitan style pizza in the city. The food is delicious and the service is usually very good. Prices have gone up recently, however, it is well worth it.

Decided to go here with a friend after visiting the University Avenue branch. I had a pleasant experience eating the Beets Caprese salad past winter, only to find that the summer menu switched the beets with heirloom tomatoes instead. So we ordered the salad and Margherita pizza as lunch special, and a full sized funghi pizza just in case. I remembered being very impressed by the Beets Caprese that we ended up emulating it at home. The heirloom tomatoes version was not as memorable in comparison, perhaps because it triggered a fond memory of eating the same dish in Naples, with locally grown San Marzano tomatoes (making it an unfair comparison by far!). The classic Margherita pizza was okay. The sauce came from canned San Marzano tomatoes, so it was less sour than other smaller pizza joints. Unfortunately, my funghi pizza had spots where it was very salty, and with strong garlic flavour. Next time I would follow the servers suggestion to get la bufalina pizza instead, as I recalled it being tasty during my previous visit.

I would have given 4 stars for this place, but staff is bit snappy here, me and my family and friends went in with thought to try new place, so we end up going to this Pizzeria, we were received well, ordered couple of Pizzas and those were good enough, but our other server came to ask about food, and suddenly snapped at my kids for playing around, while we were sitting in their Patio. I know kids can be difficult, but least server should know is to have polite attitude. Not blaming the owner or other staff, but if you have any issues with kids, do mention place is not kids friendly, if not then please train you staff

Best neopolitan pizza Ive tried in Toronto so far! The dough had the right amount of chewiness and wood fire burn. Tomato sauce was perfect, could use a little more mozzarella but dang I ate it so fast. Best of all, I got it on special. Best $13 pizza.

Terrible pizza, I dont know how this place gets 5 stars, oven wasnt cleaned from the night before and the pizza had black burnt stuff on the bottom that tasted bitter, too expensive and definitely not worth it!

Visited the Ossington Libretto on a Wednesday night and got seated right away (usually it s extremely crowded). We ordered a Bruschetta, a Classic Margarita and an individual portion sized Tiramisu! The pizza is amazing and is very similar to Badiali s Vodka Marg. Pizza. The portion size is really good esp. for Tiramisu!

This place is a total disgrace to Italian cuisine. I dont even understand how theyre still around. Without a doubt, they have the worst food on the Ossington strip. My girlfriend and I went there for a date night on Thursday and ordered Calamari, Margarita Pizza Pepperoni pizza, plus an Arugula salad. Arugula salad came mushy and loaded up with so much dressing that we were feeling like were drinking vinegar out of the bottle. Calamari was undercooked, my girl is still feeling nauseous after a day. Pizzas were the worst part of the whole experience, half burnt on one side and undercook on the other side. We asked for a remake but they told us that the kitchen is backed up and the remake will take another 45 minutes. All and all, a waste of time and money. Save your money and go somewhere else, like Anywhere on ossington strip!

Had an excellent time. The service was great and the food was tasty. We all enjoyed the experience thoroughly.

Great dinner and atmosphere. Felt like a little bit of Italy close to home. One thing we didn t enjoy was the Nutella chocolate chip cookie. It would have been nice to have been warmed up with better presentation. Otherwise I do recommend. Food : 4/5

Very less vegetarian options. And the veggie pizza was but the onions were smelling. The Margherita and classic cheese pizza were bad. They did not have any taste. Overall, I did not like the food even though it is pure Italian restaurant.

HI STAFF THAT WAS WORKING THAT DAY ILY! I was coming home from school and was HUNGRY. My phone was dying, my tablet was dying, I was dying. So I found this place on google and decided to check it out. It s in the middle of a location filled with really great restaurants, so I was excited to check it out. I walk in, and I can immediately tell the staff there were extremely friendly and chill. They were very warm when taking me to my seat. Now as somebody who listens to music on the bus, my phone battery was a tad too low to be able to do anything of the sort. I am so grateful that they took my phone and charged it, so thank you. I wanted to go simple, so I ordered a pepperoni pizza. The sauce guys, THE SAUCE. ITS SO GOOD. OH MY GOD. And the crust wasn t like bread, so I managed to eat everything at once. They gave chilli oil on the side, which wasn t very spicy, but it definitely added more flavour. I sat at the front so I can t really speak for how the back of the restaurant looks like, but the front was quaint and nice. Because my phone was gone and charging, I didn t have any music in, and kind of just people watched. It was peaceful. I left with a full belly and satisfied, it was great. As someone in the restaurant industry, I find that a lot of servers tend to judge people who eat alone and don t get drinks or anything as they won t be paid as much, so I m always scared for that, but they were really nice. Even complimented my drawings- you guys made my week :) thank you!

I had last been at this location 9 years ago and had a wonderful experience. Great food and atmosphere. It s now been completely revamped. It s an open concept with little character. I was so disappointed with the pizza. It was completely soggy at the bottom at the centre. Had the Beet Caprese salad which had next to know dressing. Maybe a bit of olive oil. The cheese was stiff and ice cold. Can t believe how it s gone downhill.

my friends and i were the first customers of the day!! we got a pizza to share. the waitress was very sweet and told us we can order more if we still feel hungry later, but we were alright. the pizza itself was great - i was very happy to get a bottle of chili oil along with it!!! overall very affordable even if youre not splitting the bill with anyone. love this place and will totally be back

Long wait

$100 for 3 personal pizzas and gnocchi, and none of the pizzas were even cut properly ruined them trying to grab a slice. Normally wouldn t complain like this, but for the price, the experience was abysmal, and embarrassing for a pizza joint to mess up all three pizzas ! Do not recommend, never going back when there are so many other great pizza options. Get a better cutter in there.

When your friend and yourself had to return the dinner because it wasnt hot. Learn how to bring out the food while the plate is still hot. Or get a better chef.

Summary: 8/10 Good place, Chill vibes, Good pies, overall good, recommend this place! Food: 8/10 Had a pepperoni pizza and it tasted great! The dough had enough structure to hold up the toppings, be lightly charred without tasting burnt, and the pepperoni had a nice full flavour, I ll be honest I came here since the line at Badiali was too long and I was hungry, but this place did not disappoint and left me satisfied that night. Place: 8/10 Honestly it s no perfect layout or super well thought out design in here but it was cozy and had enough seating for me and my friends. The person serving was helpful and nice to recommend things he thought we d enjoy and the overall atmosphere was def smaller scale but in a very good way.

There are plenty of wood-oven pizza spots in the area but I always find myself gravitating towards this spot for an easy no brainer spot for dinner. Love the calamari as well!

Amazing place to eat Italian food. I had ordered two vegetarian pizzas but amongst that I found the margarita pizza to be the best one. Give this a try, it is worth a shot. Vegetarian options: Vegetarian options are really good.

The gluten-free Neapolitan pizza of my dreams!!! It s hard to find GOOD gf pizza, but Libretto s dough closely mimics the taste, texture, and mouthfeel/elasticity of the real thing. I felt like I was eating non-gf pizza. I also appreciate that you can sub vegan mozzarella at no extra cost. Service was friendly and attentive to allergies (note that there is gluten cross contamination in the kitchen). I ll definitely be coming back; so glad this place exists!

Great service, carpaccio, olives, pepperoni pizza, music, and atmosphere. Tiramisu and Aperol spritz were decent. This is our new go-to sit-down pizza place.
