Pizzeria No.900 Beaches in Toronto

An interesting menu, deep in Italian tradition as well as some innovative touches; the ricotta-salami special was delicious; the waitress was nice and helpful; and the location, right off the park, is tremendous!

Was really excited to try a couple pizzas from here . Ordered the margherita and salami pizzas and an order of the arancini. First I was surprised that the arancini was served plain with no sauce on the side (which has always been the case when I have ordered elsewhere). The pizzas were both very doughy and chewy. Unfortunately I was disappointed with the food overall and felt it was a waste of money.

UPDATE December 16: The pizza remains just as delicious and the service just as warm and friendly. A big shoutout to Mallory who took excellent care of us on a Sunday lunch break from holiday shopping. Be sure to check out their great lunch special - pizza and a salad for $19. Welcome to The Beaches! What a great spot for a fabulous gourmet pizza and a quality glass of wine. The space is sleek but warm and welcoming. The staff are personable and attentive (thanks, Max!) and the pizza? My goodness. I haven t had a pizza this tasty since I was last in Europe. I enjoyed the sweet Italian sausage while my husband loved his 5-cheese bianchi pizza. Prices are also reasonable given the quality of the food and service. The house rose wine is crisp, tart, and delicious. We will be back.

Pizza 900 is the best! Had the mushroom pizza and arugula salad. Such fresh ingredients, such delicious flavour. Went with a friend who is from Naples, Italy and she was impressed by how authentic it is to what she has back home. Friendly and helpful staff, and great vibe/decor. My new favourite restaurant in the Beaches. Highly recommended.

For price point was very disappointed. Way too much crust and while edible my pizza was bland and lacking in any significant zesty flavour. . I had heard rave reviews so was expecting the wow factor but instead meh.

Excellent food, service, and atmosphere! I quite enjoyed the pizza dough, as it reminded me of a soft pita/naan bread with wood fire accents. The topping combinations were also plentiful - we ordered the Speck and Gorgonzola (a wonderful blend of sweet & savory) and the Organic mushroom (simply delicious). Overall, I would highly recommend next time you are in the beaches.

Nice spot with some of the best Neopolitan-style pizza in the east end. Beautiful patio in the summer, with an elegant dining area on the inside. Had two lunch/dinner specials with a Margherita pizza and a prosciutto pizza. Also worth trying a cannolo for dessert, but bring a partner cause they only come in two. They can make a good espresso as well. Would be nice to have more variety in Italian beer though as theyre sadly only serving Nastro Azzurro - much like everywhere else.

First time and it was a lovely dinner out on Saturday. Food and drinks were very reasonably priced and the flavours on the pizza were fresh! Good selection of cocktails too. Special thanks to our server Mallory who added to the experience!

The ingredients on the pizzas are of very good quality, but the dough is not cooked, even when we ask for it well cooked when ordering and we return it asking to cook it better. Not only is it not cooked but it is not even hot enough!. This is the second time we have eaten their pizza and two times out of two, the cooking was poor: soft dough, almost white. Moreover. We were put on air conditioning because the staff were too hot in the kitchen. We had a big draft right on us. When we asked if they had the air conditioning on, they told us they would turn it off, which they did. Unfortunately they put it back a few minutes later and it was unbearable to the point where we had to put on our coats. If only they baked their dough I would happily return as the place is nice and so are the staff.

I am now finding harder to enjoy going out in a post covid world, I seem to find many of the experiences I was able to enjoy in the before times are gonna, and rarely do I have a sit down meal, and often I leave dissatisfied, with either the service or the assortment of food, and quality. I am pleased to report that when I went to No. 900 on Monday, none of my usual grievances applied. I had the Fig and Pancetta, and my husband had the smoked meat. I wish I couldve gotten two of everything, it was really *that* good. I havent had pizza that elevated in years, and Chris commented that the caramelized onions & espresso aioli on his brought alive taste buds he thought had been dead for years. LOL. (Direct quote!) We had amazing service from this young server / actress named Mallory, who took extra care with us, and had a lovely conversation with us, which made both me and Chris feel very special. Mallory recommended a bottle of Montepulciano, which could very well be the highlight of my evening. I have not had service or food like in years. Bravo, bravo, bravo to everyone. I will be back.

We always dine at No 900 in Sherbrooke Quebec during our family roadtrips. Its wonderful that you now have a Toronto location. Today, was our first time. I was so happy to experience the same quality, skill, and friendly customer service that we associate with No 900. We will be back. Welcome to Toronto!!

We ordered delivery from Pizzeria no 900 which was delivered via Uber Eats. They delivered it late with multiple stops on route and toppings were slopped all over the box. I called the restaurant to let them know and they personally delivered replacement pizzas on the house. Amazing customer service and care of the food they make which is delicious BTW. Highly recommend. Thanks Mallory!!!

Second time here, first time inside, the atmosphere was great. Our pizzas took slightly longer than expected (which we didn t even notice) and Luke the owner took care of us 100% completely unprompted. Our server Malory was the most friendly and attentive person. We would have been back regardless but their customer service is out of this world, can t thank them both enough, after a difficult week, what they did for us really brightened our spirits. (And of course the pizzas were delicious, perfectly cooked. The chocolate mousse for dessert was just the perfect ending) <3

This is new restaurant is a must a top notch foodie experience. Such a warm and welcoming vibe, excellent food and the most adorable patio space. Absolutely impressed and cant wait to go back!

Our waiter was friendly and quick. The prices were high but comparable to other pizzerias. The atmosphere was cozy, warm and inviting. Two of us split a pizza and a salad. We thought the pizza tasted good, but wasnt as crisp as other comparable restaurants. The salad was a little bleh, just not super flavourful but we might just not have ordered the right thing for us. We each had a mocktail that neither of us enjoyed (the flavors were just... weird. Again, maybe its just a matter of taste?) - my cannoli was quite stale. Overall it was fine, were glad we tried it, but we prefer Pizzeria Libretto.

Close to the beach a great place to eat pizza. AVPN certified, I can confirm, pizza margherita as good as a pizza in Italy. I suggest this place to my friends living in Toronto. . I will come back for sure!!

We went on a Thursday at 1:30, and was very busy which is great but unfortunately they had a small amount of staff causing us to only see our waiter a handful of times. Our arugula salad had yellow and wilted leaves in it which is very disappointing and we sent it back after flagging down our waiter. The pizza were okay but they could be baked a little longer for our preference and the oyster mushroom on our pizza needed to be cut. Was very surprised to see a can of pop was $4 dollars..

Everything was A+ Walked in with 6 kids and 4 adults and received amazing service. Kids all had awesome margarita pizzas. Pizza, buratta, and drinks all super yummy. Thanks for a great dinner!! Food : 5/5

All elements of our dining experience hit far above expectations. The atmosphere, pizza, and service were all exceptional. The restaurant space is really well designed with a lot of different dining areas (we sat in the back with a great view of the green space in Kew Gardens) and the decor was perfectly inviting. Our pizzas were both fantastic (the roasted veggie was particularly excellent) and the caesar salad was great too. We will definitely be back! From the dreamy ambiance (shout out to the cosy little nooks, the patio, and the stunning park views) to the incredible food and A+ cocktails, I cant think of a more perfect place to spend an evening with friends, family, and/or perfect strangers. Honestly the pizza here is one of the best Ive had in this city. Heartier than the pies at General Assembly (which I also love), lighter and more delicate than Maker (which is a fave pie), and the flavour was great. Definitely using premium ingredients here. Perfect location for east enders, immediately feels like a neighbourhood joint thats been there for years. Go check this place out!!!

The pizza was delish! I ordered the Margherita and it was fluffy, chewy and perfectly cooked. The chilli oil served on the side was a flavourful and smoky compliment to the dreamy pie. The place was buzzing with a great energy. We also got to talk to the owners who are extremely passionate about bringing this Neapolitan pizza to Toronto. We ll be back very soon!

Great addition to the beaches. Diavola was amazing and a must have pizza from the menu. Other great items were Popelett and Butchers choice pizza. We had Salami and Margherita during the Jazzfest and they were amazing as well.

Great new place to grab a cocktail and pizza in the Beaches in an atmosphere that is the perfect mix of fun and beautifully unassuming! The pizza was delish, the vibe was bustlinf, the cocktails were great and reasonably priced, and the service was good. And the chili oil that they bring to the table is a great way to enjoy the yummy crust! Happy to have a place so close to home to grab a yummy pizza!

One of the best pizza that I ever had in Toronto. I had a margarita and five cheese. The flavour of the sauce and ingredients were delicious. In terms of texture it was just perfect all I can say is that the crust was done exactly how I like it.

not my favourite style pizza i tried a margarita pizza tasted okay was soggy in the middle would have like to see it more crispy. pizza ratings 6.3/10, had a Caesar salad with it the dressing was tasty, home made style. i really liked the atmosphere and they had very friendly service only reason im scoring them a 5star. go give this pizzeria a try, let me know what you think about it.

900 is an absolute must-visit in the Beaches! Even though it s only been open for under a week, it feels like an instant classic. The atmosphere is absolutely gorgeous whether youre planning a cozy dinner, a romantic date night, or celebrating a special occasion, 900 sets the perfect scene. The staff is just as impressive as the ambiance. Luke made our visit unforgettable, our server Casey was so sweet and attentive, and Juliette added her charm to make the experience even more delightful. This is hands down the best new spot for authentic Italian in the area. Can t recommend it enough five stars all the way!

We recently visited this restaurant and while the food was absolutely delicious, the service wasnt that great for us. It took a long time for someone to take our order, and once we finally ordered, it took an entire hour for our Margherita pizza to arrive. The pizza was worth the wait flavorful and perfectly cooked but the delays were frustrating. In addition, no one offered us more drinks throughout our meal, which was disappointing. Another small but noticeable detail was that someone started lighting candles at every table, but they never came to light ours. It made us feel somewhat excluded, which wasn t a great feeling. I eventually had to get up and switch our unlit candle with a lit one from an empty table. I understand the restaurant was busy, but being prepared for peak times is crucial. Despite these issues, the pizza was so good that we for sure will give this place another chance in the future.

Complete disaster and doubt they last a year. Totally disfunctional and very rude and inexperienced staff. Lost reservations. Dead atmosphere. Funny there ande all these fake 5 star reviews from people with zero other reviews.

The pizza was good. The caesar salad was rather pathetic. Literally a bowl of romaine lettuce with dressing. The olive appetizer was also lacking. On top of that, the waitress tried to add a $6 sharing fee for the bowl of lettuce. I will return but only for the pizza.

A delicious authentic Italian pizza experience! We enjoyed the organic five mushroom and meat lovers pizzas with arugula salad and a glass of red wine. Highly recommend.

Great atmosphere, good vibes - feels like a great addition to the neighbourhood. Went in for a late dinner and we were able to take advantage of the late night special after 9 (also their lunch special) for $19, which comes with a salad and a full size pizza! We had margarita and salami pizzas with the special. The Italian soda was great, and the pizza was delicious, nicely cooked (little crispy, with some char and little moist in the centre) as they should be. I will say that both salads were a bit disappointing. Arugula salad needs more lemon, some pepper and parmigiana or other salty cheese grated over it but nice fresh arugula and lots of tomatoes. Cesar salad seems like I could make something from a bagged salad, to be honest. Will be back despite the salad as the pizzas were great (will try more types another time) and has good vibes.

Went with my family after labour day for dinner; I called and made a reservation and the service was great. We got there and they were able to accommodate our request for inside seating - which is beautifully decorated! They were out of our prefered appetizer - but I guess thats a testament to how good it is! The pizza was fantastic, we all got different kinds and all were amazing! Weve lived in the area for almost 20 years and its nice to see a more niche restaurant doing well that isnt pubfare. I no longer live in the city, but I will be making a point to eat there when I come to visit. Keep up the great work!

They have AMAZING gluten free pizza with rice flour and it was absolutely the best along with the arugula lemon drizzle salad. The Chianti was also a treat with the pizza. Wonderful addition to the Beaches. Everything we ordered was extremely fresh and delicious. The selection of specialty ingredients such as unique meats and extra fresh cheeses was excellent. Beautifully curated wine list & drink selections. Would HIGHLY recommend the flavourful Garibaldi; a cocktail made with non alcoholic bitters that satisfies and excites. Fantastic ambience & decor; well designed seating areas that are comfortable and inviting. Service was stellar; provided with genuine care and kindness. Will most certainly be visiting again.

Pizzeria No 900 is as great as I remember it from Montréal visits in the past. We had the 2 extremes Grilled veggies (Kale, Kalamata and carmalized onions) and Butcher s Choice oh boy that Nduja sausage! Highly recommend!

Great food, atmosphere and interior design. However, very arrogant and rushed service. We don t need your free drinks, thank you. We just want to be seated by one of 4 people who passed us at least twice each telling us it will be a second for the last 5 minutes in the half empty restaurant. Also, wish we could finish the Tiramisu which was pretty amazing, before it was taken away. Will order again but definitely take out next time. PS - Having a glass of wine at home which I would ve rather had at the restaurant if I was offered one instead of pressured into getting a bill.

YUM!! mmm more please. I took three of my friends out for dinner and drinks at No. 900 last weekend and was so excited to try their real authentic Neapolitan pizza! (like apparently they are officially certified by Napoli!). What a great find. An excellent warm welcoming neighbourhood vibe. We didnt feel either overdressed or too casual, seems suited to fancy celebration meals as much as you could pop in straight from the beach. Stylishly designed with many intimate areas to sink into and linger. We were torn between sitting on the sparkly patio or indoors but then our charming (and very handsome) host found us a wonderful table where we could watch our pizzas come out of their giant fancy tiled oven. That was super fun. They are cooked super fast at 900 degrees, thus the name. Loved that amazing dough so soft, yet crisp and fluffy. Very addictive. The servers were friendly, attentive and helpful especially when explaining some of the interesting toppings Id never heard of. I started with some warm gorgonzola cheese dip with house made apricot puree that is making my mouth water just from the memory. We loved their well curated cocktails and mocktails so much we all kept ordering different ones and passing them around to all taste. The phony negroni and garibaldi were two standouts but then I got seduced by the prosecco. More Toronto restaurants should learn from their great example. So well done and excited to take more friends there. This is definitely my new go to spot!

I visited this pizzeria after seeing numerous positive reviews on Google and Facebook from local groups. Unfortunately, I must say, I was quite disappointed with the experience. Although the owners are reputed as top pizzaiolos from Naples with impressive credentials, in my opinion the quality of the food did not reflect their expertise. My partner and I each ordered a white base pizza with different toppings. Before ordering the Prosciutto pizza, I asked the waitress whether it was crudo or cotto, and she didn t even know the difference. Despite our choices, my pizza was quite bland, with just a few slices of prosciutto crudo, three cherry tomatoes, and a spread concentration of just dough, leaving the toppings mainly in the center. My partners pizza, on the other hand, was overly salty. We also tried the appetizer listed as TARALLI with Gorgonzola on the menu. However, what we received was a small, overpriced dish of tarallini, which is not the same thing. The portion was inadequate compared to the amount of gorgonzola, forcing us to use a fork to scoop it up. When I mentioned these issues to our server, she noted that free bread was included with our order, which she had initially forgotten to mention. However, when I asked for the bread, it was not brought to our table. Later, she returned to inquire if she could clear the appetizer plate, but did not address our earlier concerns. Overall, the dining experience fell short of our expectations. There is significant potential for improvement with more attention to detail in the menu descriptions and a better-informed staff.

What a beautiful and delicious spot! The food, service and atmosphere were excellent and the dipping oil was so good I had to buy some for home. This beautifully designed restaurant with a casual feel and prices that don t break the bank is just what the Beaches needs. Be sure to check it out! This is great pizza! The crust is similar to that of a pizza in Italy.

Very good. If a caesar salad is $9 on the menu, it should be $9 on my bill, not $15 because I shared it. If its $15 to share a caesar salad, this should be on the menu. Asked if the croutons were homemade. Affirmative. No croutons at all. Otherwise, good amount of bacon. I spent almost $200 for dinner for two, no dessert; theres no need to grab $6 from me in these circumstances. Great pizza in a nice atmosphere.

Wow, finally a Naples-style pizza thats actually delicious and authentic. Cant wait to be back!

Not officially open yet (August 8th) but theyre currently serving two base pizzas on the street, and theyre delicious. Proper Neapolitan pizza wood-fired within 1-2 minutes just the way it should be. Good leopard spotting and a bit of charring on the crust, and thin without being too wet or floppy. I can see why theyre well-regarded in Montreal. Looking forward to their official opening so we can sit down and give it another try, but this is an easy spot to recommend. Extra points: Their Italian sodas and tea were also delicious and a perfect pairing on a hot summer day.

No.900 Pizzeria has a delicious margarita and salami pizza topped with an amazing spicy oil. While I was at the pizzeria I ate outside with clean tables and comfortable seats. I would come back anytime!
