Honestly we were so excited as the reviews were so appealing. We ordered 3 medium pizzas and none tasted baked. Mushroom pizza had big chunks of garlic and bland mushroom. The vege pizza was unfortunately undercooked and no taste. Margarita was okay but dough is not the best. Disappointing :(

Got a few slices for takeout on a hot day. Great little local pizza spot. Super friendly staff and just low key vibes.

They highly recommended this place to me. The pizza was without a doubt very good: the dough, the quality of the ingredients... everything excellent with the food. But the service is very bad, the person serving at the bar is very pedantic and even impatient with some customers (except with the people who seem to be his acquaintances).

My husband just brought a pizza home from there and it s not actually cooked $30 for this is just awful ! The cheese is not melted and the dough is awful .

Were living in a golden age of pizza, and this is one of the places I keep coming back to. They serve a thin crust pizza with ample, richly tomatoey sauce, and fresh, creamy mozzarella. All the pies Ive had there are good, but the pepperoni is the best. Great for take-out or eat-in. Service is warm, attentive, and quick. Atmosphere is simple, casual, clean, and very down to earth - think long, communal, wooden tables, white tiles, wine served in tumblers, and big windows facing the street - best enjoyed on a warm evening. Hot honey and chili-infused olive oil are among the condiments on the tables, but if your timing is right and you ask nicely, you might get a drizzle of authentic Halifax doner sauce (but dont say I told you!).

I wouldnt order from here again. I was at a friends place and we ordered it in for delivery. We ordered a Margherita Pizza - no where does it say it comes with Parmesan in the ingredients. I cant eat Parmesan. Also, we asked for delivery to our condo door. It was, but left on the floor outside the front door. No knock, nothing.

Wonderful veggie pizza. Perfectly cooked and tasted fantastic will definitely try other pizza on the menu. Vegetarian options: They have all the elements for a great vegetarian pizza.

A cozy and unpretentious restaurant that makes great pizza. Crispy soft crust and fresh cheese on the pizza are much appreciated. Portions are reasonable and the price is just where it allows you to relax while you enjoy the pizza.

We decided to try Salt & Tobacco after finding it on Google maps - the restaurant has amazing reviews. We tried the pepperoni pizza and were extremely disappointed. The ingredients tasted cheap - the sauce, pepperoni and cheese. The crust was not crispy, almost seemed undercooked. The whole experience was underwhelming, will not be going back. Definitely surprised on the rating of this restaurant considering Toronto has incredible pizza joints.

Pesto pizza was really good! I liked it more than the pepperoni. If you dine in, use the many options of sauces on the side of the table, the garlic infused olive oil and the spicy honey makes the pizza even yummier.

Quiet for dine in but a good flow of takeout. Staff were nice and checked on us appropriately. Pepperoni pizza was really good. Dough was tender but with a nice chew to it. The jalapeños added a good kick and the staff put them on only one side for us.

Some of the best pizza Ive had in Toronto hands down. I used to prefer Brooklyn, but these guys have them beat.

Dietary restrictions: We have ordered many a pizza from S&T and been quite happy with them. However this was the first time I ordered my pizza with a gluten-free crust. I don t recommend this option. I couldn t even pick up a slice from the box without the crust falling apart. Furthermore the crust was as tasteless as cardboard.

We are pizza lovers and pizza is life! We were recommended this place by a friend and it did not disappoint! We went with a 16 between two of us. Utterly delicious rustic-style pizza! Crunchy and soft, wonderful tomato sauce, and great toppings! Check out the complimentary honey and chilli pizza dressing! No photo as we were to engrosed in the food! Oh... and fab service too!

Low quality cheese and all other ingredients. Dough is 2 out of 5 . The flour is ... ok but the finished product is poor due to the steps I know by the taste .The price too high for low quality.

I ve already been here a few times, and its always been extremely delicious! They make the slices similar to a NY style, with a thin crust and a great cheese pull. I usually get the pepperoni pizza, which they provide hot honey along with it. They also have chili infused olive oil as a condiment along with your pizza. The service is very fast, friendly, and approachable with any questions.

Probably one of the best pizza restaurants in Toronto! Small with limited dine in space but often do take out. Has vegan options including vegan cheese. However, I love the simplicity of the marinara pizza which is just tomato sauce, garlic and basil (no cheese)! Huge bread, garlic and tomato lover so it is a bit of a comfort food for me!

What a great vibe provided by Thomas and the team here at Salt and Tobacco! Can we eat here tomorrow, I overheard a little girl ask, Thomas offered her a complimentary vegetarian to take home and heat up tomorrow! She left with an awesome memory and a pie! You just cant beat that kind of service.

The pizza here is well priced and delicious, the people friendly, and the space is very comfortable with air conditioning. The chili infused olive oil and honey are unique and elevate the eating experience. Cold water was also served and kept us hydrated. Make this place your top lunch spot if you are around as they serve pizza by slices for lunch as well.

If you are a mushroom lover, as I am, the Funghi is a must. One of the best pizzas Ive ever had - absolutely sublime!

The pizza is good, but we ended up paying 25 dollars for 2 beers, when each one was supposed to cost 8 dollars, we never understood that.

Legit pizza. One of the best slices in Toronto. You wouldn t say by the way the place looks but these guys know their pizza. Definitely deliver. If you are in the area and are craving a slice this is the place.

I like that this place is up the street from me. Friendly staff. Consistently good pizza. Dough is very good. I enjoy the topping options. Some may say a bit pricey but I do feel quite full with a medium pizza btwn 2 ppl. Also, the ingredients taste like quality ingredients. my only suggestion would be that a touch more red sauce on the pizzas that have this topping that could just be me. I like a zingy red sauce on my pepperoni pizza! Not drenched but enough there to have that flavour. They have a spicy honey that isn t spicy (to me) but still tasty and adds a nice touch!

Second visit here, ordered 16 pepperoni pizza to go, which is probably perfect for 3 people. Didn t love how large the slices were cut, and had a bit of burnt areas on the pizza. The pizza was great regardless, with a thin crispy, airy crust- different from Neapolitan style pizza. The hot honey was a nice touch as well.

We went for a pizza takeout at 9.45 pm on sunday 26 nov after hearing lot of good things about restaurant. We were so excited to try the food but the server said we are almost close and continued her cleaning. She Didnt even talk to us properly. If we can see the board as open and after checking timing from google this is the response that customer does not expect. Very disappointed with the behaviour of its employees.

Meh... Seemed like the pizza wasnt cooked enough on the top eventhou the under carriage was well done... IDK, Ive had it there before as a take out slice and really enjoyed it... Ill give it another try sometime ..

This Pizza is dangerously good. I moved out of province a year and a half ago and still think about this pizza probably once a week. I miss it. Service is incredible and the spicy honey is actually addictive.

Last night was my first time having Salt & Tobacco pizza and I have no idea what took me so long!!! Hands down one of the most delicious pizzas I ve ever eaten. Great quality ingredients, perfect crust and amazing service. Definitely not to be missed!

Great Food. Come here all the time with my kids all the way from Maple just to eat the fungi pizza.

Have been coming here regularly and ordered the prosciutto pizza to go about 30min before their closing time. Once home we realised there was no fior di latte on the pizza. By then it was too late and Salt & Tobacco had closed for the evening. As we were hungry we ate it anyway but for a $30 pizza to be missing one of the vital ingredients, it left us really disappointed.

I got the Funghi pizza with the Romana salad. Both were delicious. Great, friendly service, too.

The cashier opened my pizza, scratched his scalp for a solid minute ( I could see flakes falling out ) Then used that same hand and shoved it in a bin of cheese. For whatever reason kept handing it to consumers to hold until eventually calling out the wrong name . Just gross .

Customer Service Is Important So PASS Last summer stopped by. Order pepperoni slice. Pretty good. Went back a week later to get another pepperoni slice. There wasn t any ready but the guy said if I waited he d make a pepperoni pizza - no problem because a lot of people like pepperoni slices. Sure enough people who came in after me order a couple of pepperoni slices. Third time I stopped by - a different guy this time. New guy said they didn t have any. I said I d wait. Guy said he wouldn t make it. He had other slices with toppings I can t get my kid to eat. Said I had to take his hoity-toity pretentious toppings slices or walk. Apparently no one else wanted them either as the looked like they had been sitting there for a while. So instead of making a pepperoni pizza (a normal topping that even kids would like) this delusional artiste decided he didn t want my business. Can t wait until someone replaces this place - someone who doesn t have an inflated ego and cares about customer happiness.

Cool spot in Cabbagetown and the summer patio is a nice addition. The kale, bacon, and pepper was my favourite - also got the margherita. Just the right amount of greasiness, crust thickness and toppings.

Haved lived in Cabbagetown for 20 years. Only recently noticed this place. Location has changed many times, last was ice cream place. Ordered pickup Veggie Deluxe. It was delicious! And it was the first thing I was able to taste after recently getting Covid and my taste buds back. Will be ordering again.

This place was amazing. My colleague and friend took me here for us to get lunch after work. It was a great first experience visit. I ordered the Mr. Hand Pizza and it was amazing especially with the hot honey and spicy chili oil. Even the oregano oil was good with it too. I ate the whole thing and it was amazing. I truly loved it the place was very cozy and chill. I would definitely come back here and order from here again.
