I ordered veg fajitas and the garlic fingers and both were awesome. They had pretty good veg options which I personally loved and also the quantity was good. The quality was good as well Vegetarian options: Quite good options

I love this place. They waiters are very nice and the place is amazing as well. I recommend for sure.

Will not be going again. The service was terrible. Waited 15 minutes for my drink order and over half an hour to get my food. The bar was about 1/3, plus people on the patio, full but there appeared to be only 2 staff. Even allowing for that service was almost non-existent.

My friend and I each ordered fish and chips for delivery a couple of weeks ago and what we received was technically fried potatoes and fish, but everything was so dry and tough, it was almost like eating jerky. We lost our appetites and couldnt finish. Wont be ordering that again.

We really enjoyed our meal at Gabbys. The exceptional customer service provided by Anastasia was friendly and professional. The wings were so good, the best Ive ever had, followed by a delicious house salad. Eating outside was a great experience. I highly encourage people to eat there.

We ended up here last night after an event downtown and had a lot of fun! It was a cute little spot. Shane was great and met a friendly local. It was all around good vibes. Looking forward to going back to try out the food next time!

I eat on their patio every year. So glad its open again. Burgers and salads to die for. Highly recommend the bison burger but I have tried EVERY SINGLE THING on their menu and have no complaints. Really good clean food.

The bartender was extremely rude just for asking a drink that they can make but is not on the menu even when we ve been there many times and consume. (Always giving a good tip). Never coming back

very bad service, the bartender is rude, I visited the place with my wife and he had racist attitudes, we are regular customers and we always gave tips because we are aware of peoples work and because my wife works in the middle, we live in the building since the front, we were going to get some drinks and takeout, he literally threw the cup holder at my wife and I, then we ordered a cocktail that my wife always orders and wanted to make, this guy is really, he is despicable, he has no values or I respect. For women, I do not recommend this place. I think the manager is bald, please do not visit this place, there is a lack of education and respect for women.

Recently went to Gabbys with my husband and had a great time. We sat at the bar and had a lovely chat with the bartender Shane. He was super friendly, offered great service and was attentive to my allergies. Will be back!

Myself and my business associates recently visited and were looked after by the magnificent Shane, a throwback of bartenders from a bygone age, charming, good humoured, mannerly and most importantly skilled behind the sticks. The overall quality of service was excellent, drinks served in a prompt and timely manner, we had a splendid evening.

Great place in the St.James quadrangle. Best time to go is in the dead of summer like August on the patio for a cold, crisp beer on a hot dry day or the dead of winter like January for a warm, cozy time indoors away from the sub zero cold.

Their garlic cheese bread is more than addictive. And their chicken wings are delicious. Perfectly fried and juicy! Try the Hot Honey, youll love them! Thanks Gabby!

On Mondays and Wednesdays, wings are half-price with the purchase of a beverage! Wings are super delicious and are paired with carrots and a dipping sauce. The sauce isnt that great, to be honest. Thick and lacks flavour. Service is always friendly, which I appreciate. Sometimes the wings arent as warm as I would want them. So itd be great if they sent out the wings as soon as theyre ready. Love the atmosphere though. Its located at the basement of the Isabella Hotel.

Gabbys is a really great restaurant located right in the heart of the Isabella Hotel. Located right in the heart of downtown Toronto, near Bloor Street and Sherborne Street, Gabbys grants you old pub fare and an atmosphere that reminds you that you went back in time. Gabbys has a great patio for the summer as its a prime destination and location for the area. You are bound to meet someone new and schmooze your way into a conversation. The menu at Gabbys is your typical bar menu that you would have. You would expect a fantastic rating on their chicken wings , burgers , salads and sandwiches. Ive been going to Gabbys I think about 8 times and each time was a different experience and different occasions. I really enjoyed the restaurant and I do intend on coming back.

Great spot. Great TVs (crystal clear). Just busy enough at 9:30pm for Karaoke, which is on Thursday night at 9:00pm until close. DJ is a bit self absorbed be prepared, but alas that s show business. Lol. Heineken on tap! However, $$$. Spirits are also expensive but what isn t. I would recommend .

Went for lunch today, such a cute patio and atmosphere seemed like a great spot . But the waitress we had was horrible. She complained about her kitchen staff instead of going to ask about a menu item, she was as slow as molasses and very forgetful. The food wasn t horrible but our fries were cold and it wasn t a huge side by any means. In the end there were 6 of us and a total of 4 bills and she couldn t even get that right. Also multiple errors in our order and when we were waiting to pay the waitress told a couple to go inside for drinks and it would be a while and she would get to them when she could. Seemed she didn t want to be there and didn t want the business for her place of work

Gabby s service was really bad, my friends and I went on July 5th, and the waitress seemed rude and not engaging at all. I understand they could have been having a rough night or was understaff but the disorganization of communication between their staff was very visible to us as customers. We waited a very long time for our food, and there wasn t an apology nor acknowledgement for the poor service. Finally they lied to us saying groups with 8 or more has to pay a gratuity of 18%, when on the receipt it clearly says groups of 8 or larger must pay 15% gratuity. Conclusion: My friends and I won t be going to this location again, but I hope they fix this and prioritize customer service and quality of service. Service 0/5 Food 3/5 Drinks 3/5

Went with friends to the restaurant for food and drinks. They have a lovely patio right at the intersection of Sherbourne and Isabella streets so one can enjoy the vibe of the city and the weather while dining. Since it was a friends birthday that we were celebrating, they were very accommodating with storing a cake we had for him and bringing it out later. Food and drinks: We ordered nachos and Buffalo chicken pizza. The pizza was amazingly good. It was thin crust and filled with toppings. Real value for money.

Nice place to go for a drink. On the other hand, very disappointed by the Bison Burger which was overcooked, well burned and very dry, served without any sauce.

There is one server who is so RUDE doesn t answer a simple question of how you? I even asked how are you!? She is purely treating me such rasicism, she needs to be let go to tell me as a white person who only ordered a drink and poutine she said I was upset or mad? And telling the bar tender I m screaming? No where near, she is not a proper server at all. She is the most racial person to accuse a single whites woman for one meal to be denied?? Look at you staff at GABBYS on sherbourne cause clearly there taking away your profit and denying simple folks who want a meal

Ordered some chicken fajitas and received about 1/3rd of a chicken breast for over $20. They gave me 4 tortillas which was overkill considering the portion of chicken and veggies could barely fit in 2. If youre going to eat here go in person or just pass. Im going to assume they skimp majorly on all online orders.

I am used to come weekly for the Thursdays karaoké night and it has been a great experience until November 2nd 2023. A drunk, drugged, or just plain stupid female started to abuse verbally and physically the karaoke host, and the bartender decided to ignore this and not kick that person out, and blaming whoever decided to defend the victim in this situation. This comment is not judging the food / drinks / general atmosphere of the place, which I consider to be good. But this is the type of behavior that is just not acceptable. I will be enjoying other Gabbys from now on

Went in there for the first time about a month ago. Had Burgers and fries, worse Burger I have ever had, dry bun, mushroom cheese patty cold and tasteless. Waited a long time for the food,no apologies, fries tasteless and salty, very small size desert for almost $10 with taxes. Only one NEW staff serving...bad service food etc...although the bar tender were friendly ...

The server Rob was amazing and very helpful! It was super busy at some point and only him serving everyone All the stars for that drinks were OK, beer was great! Parmesan fries could ve used more Parmesan, but other than that, it was all good

This place has gone completely down hill. $18 for tiny burger patty on a wonder bread bun with a tiny but of wilted lettuce and tomato. Looks like the only thing decent here is the beer...its cold at least!

The wait was too long to get the food and drinks but the wings were really good.

One small order of fries. $8. Probably worth about 10 cents in terms of the potatoes and oil, and maybe a buck in labor. Absolutely shameful price gouging. We live in the neighborhood and go to Gabbys regularly, but after being ripped off like this, well never be back. Unforgivable. Wouldnt be surprised if theyre not around much longer with this kind of pricing. They certainly dont deserve to be.

The wings here are great. Small cheers type vibe with the enterence. Seems like the bartenders know most peoples names and the draft is cold. Thanks for the lunch!

Good wing night place!

We went for lunch there. Our server is so helpful and pleasant. I ordered Cobb salad, its a different from what Im used to but its OK also. All in all, its a good experience Thank you.

Came for the second time to watch a soccer world cup game. Very good service. Selection of beers a bit limited but not too bad. Food was good and not too pricey. Would probably come back

Every Friday and Saturday night, we show up around 12:30 a.m. and the bar is completely locked and closed. It says open till 2 a.m. Switch your times online IF you constantly choose to always close so early. No one will show now because this place is always closed early.

I went here with a friend on Thursday night and it was karaoke night! Drinks were affordable and we had such a fun time!

Ordered takeout chicken wings, mozzarella sticks and beer from here tonight. The staff is friendly and helpful and in non-COVID times I think the ambience of their patio would be quite nice for a drink. However, the food is really some of the worst I have ever consumed in a restaurant. The dominant flavour in the mozzarella sticks was vomit - I couldnt finish a single bite of it. Never, ever go here.

(Takeout) Tried Beyond Veggie Burger. It s normal like any other place s vegan burger. Nothing special in taste I would say. Easily accessible and a nice patio place. Looking forward for an in-dine experience.

We had a beautiful day for dinner on a fine patio. Clean and comfortable. Excellent wait staff. Since the completion of major development on the east side of Sherbourne Street, the street is far less grubby than it used to be. Our fajitas were excellent and the price was right!

Friendly staff, Im grateful this location survived the pandemic. Their patio is very nice, and indoors has that classic pub feel. Its a little tight in there, but staff are doing an excellent job maintaining social distancing, so when you walk in remember that theyre cleaning everything thoroughly and will not sit you nearby other patrons.

Amazing pub - Nice atmosphere - Its cozy in winters. Food was amazing , we tried their chicken wings which was one of a kind. Staff is amazing and very welcoming. One should must try this place and it is not very expensive. We loved this place and will definitely recommend.

Gabbys food is usually pretty good Id youre into pub fare. This place is no different. Service was a little slow.

If the food was not amazing (which it definitely was!) I would still continue to support this restaurant solely for the information they stapled to the bag. I appreciate when restaurants try to keep their carbon footprint down while still maintaining a high quality of food and service. We had the West coast burger, Yankee burger, onion rings and root medley fries. Everything was excellent! Thank you!

My husband and I seem to go to the same places, all the time, hitting up Gabbys was a rare switch. Their menu seemed extensive enough, so we were sure we could find something we wanted. The plus is that it was lunch time on the weekend, and their full menu was available, as opposed to a brunch menu (were not brunch guys). I had a single order of the honey garlic wings, with fries. Wings were great (and the best since 1989, apparently) and the fries were addictive! My husband had the Cobb Salad with chicken and loved it. We topped it off with a slice of Blueberry Cheesecake, which was...to die! They have a promo with The Cheesecake Company. We NEVER do desserts, but this was too good! I had a mini-pitcher of Canadian, which was $10 and my husband had some wine. I like drink deals during the weekend, but theyre rare. In the end, great way to spend time on a long weekend. I wish they had music on their patio, though, but definitely adding this to our restaurant repertoire.

Service staff are friendly and knowledgeable

One of the waitress didn t want to take our order just because we didn t tip her one time out of all the times we ve come because the service was very poor. She in front of us refused to take our order when she was speaking to the manager. Terrible service. When we talked to the manager he told us to leave because they are mad for the time we didn t tip, and didn t even apologize for her employee refusing not taking our order in front of us

The most awful experience I ve had in Toronto so far. I ve come to this place many times for the wing night and two weeks ago I came and the waitress that gave us service was not attentive and ignoring us when we called her many times. I came today and realize she was talking about me and my friends and she was saying she s not gonna take our order because of that time. The manager and her were very derogatory with us, the manager told us to leave because we didn t agree with the rude behavior of the waitress. Definitely wouldn t come here because if you don t tip due to their poor service you ll be treated like trash

I love coming here on Mondays or Wednesdays for their 50% off wings night. Their wings are fabulous. The honey garlic ones are my jam. They have good prices on drinks and bottles of wine too. This is my go-to neighborhood spot. I would highly recommend it!

We had lunch here on a weekday. The restaurant was relatively empty. We overheard the waitress apologising for having made an error on a diners bill more than once. Ordered ribs and chips (fries); the chips were plentiful, the coleslaw was 3 parts mayonnaise and the ribs were neither good nor bad. It was blatantly obviously that the BBQ sauce was squirted onto the ribs, as if the cook was dressing a hotdog from a street vendor. The dining table was shaky and moved when impacted by the slightest shift. Overall, the experience was just okay.

Love this place. Enough variety of beers, good food, nice atmosphere, and especially the best server(looks main server, small cheerful lady with glasses) has the best friendly hospitality. I only visit here every three months(means visit only a couple of times a year) because of my business trip from Vancouver, but she remembers me! This is a place you can enjoy drinking yourself, or with a bunch of friends. I also like the atmosphere of downstairs. Patios is also nice in Summer.

The wings are VERY good. Monday and Wednesday they have a half price promotion. The service is good and they are attentive. There are karaoke nights. It has a terrace and underground bar. Its something small.

Husband insisted on going to Gabbys last month because they were giving away limited edition Toronto Raptors championship beer glass in each Jurassic meal you order. We stuffed our faces and ate like little piggies. We even ordered a slice of cheesecake because Gabbys is carrying dessert from Cheesecake Factory.

Great atmosphere. Food was delicious. Service excellent. Music was at comfortable level. They do need to roughen up tile at outside door. Very slippery when wet.

Lovely Irish waitress serves during the day. Big Man finds the booths a little too snug for his girth. Wings are okay at half price Mon and Wed. Good portion of fish and chips. One star off for dim lighting.
