A great neighborhood bar with above average pub, food and incredibly helpful and amazing service staff.

Not many gluten free options but I felt confident in my order. Great service. Dietary restrictions: I got a gluten free bun and it was very good. I also got sweet potato fries. I cannot speak if you have a celiac allergy as I only have a gluten intolerance.

The wings are actually good. Not like, chintzy small but good sauce, like actually good.

Cozy pub. Good food (for a pub).excellent steak salad. A dozen or so local draught beer on the menu. Service was fast and without mistake but could certainly be warmer. 4-5 big screens to watch hockey. Music off during hockey games jnfortunately...

Very much a pub but with fine dining energy. Yes the interior is a bit small, so not alot of seating and yea there is only street parking BUT the food is UNREAL. Burgers, pretzels, sandwiches and Porkchops..Ive had it all and each time is consistently great. The staff have been around for a while and are fantastic. So efficient and friendly and if you frequent The Mugshot Tavern theyll get to know you quick. Lastly the atmosphere although very much a pub or sports pub has a very chill and cool feel. Playlists are always on point and love the mugshot decor. Check it out you wont be disappointed

I hadnt been there in a long time but it was just as good as I had remembered. Small-ish menu which I prefer and this one is well curated. BBQ Cauliflower was the #1 hit at our table. Good music and Egoless vibe. Im in.

My husband and I had some drinks here the other night, we quite enjoyed the setting and the service was exceptional.

It s an ideal spot to grab a drink, enjoy some food, and catch up with friends. As advertised on their website, the staff are friendly, engaging, and do a commendable job of maintaining a warm and inviting environment. The bar is well-equipped with a good TV setup for watching the game, and theres also a quiet backyard patio for those who prefer a more relaxed setting. The food is top-notch; I tried the Roast Beef Dip, and it was a delight juicy, tender beef served on a baguette with a side of fries. However, my one critique is that the fries were over-seasoned and too salty, which detracted from the overall enjoyment of the meal. Despite this minor issue, I highly recommend Mugshots if you re in the High Park area and looking for a cozy tavern to grab a bite and a drink. The bar is accessible and just a two-minute walk from Keele subway station, making it a convenient addition to the Bloor West/High Park neighborhood. Overall, it s a great spot that enhances the local scene.

This is a true tavern, in all its glory. A neighbourhood vibe, welcoming staff, TVs for hockey, a rustic rooftop patio, and all-in-all a solid visit! Try the burger with a side of poutine! The burger bun has a glossy domed bun and the poutine is made with real cheese curds. I also had the Rosemary Gin Martini and it was excellent. Enjoy!

Warmed a few stools at the Mugshot over the years. I was pleasantly surprised to see it operating 5yrs after leaving the City. Great good and atmosphere, froendly staff, and plenty of draft options. Highly recommend to stop in after a day in High Park.

I recently moved to the neighbourhood and found my new local. The service was excellent, friendly, and welcoming, and the food was also excellent. It was pretty busy, but the two gents handled it efficiently. We had the mugshot burger and mugshot wings, which were very good and highly recommended

Weve never been to this bar but we met Pablo who works here and he was so kind to let us borrow his tool for our bike. He helped get us and our babies get home safely!

I love this place! This is my go-to spot for a casual drink or food. I went there for brunch today for the first time and it was great! The service is always awesome and I always enjoy their selection of guest taps.

Everything was pretty good - not excellent. The server was pretty good at being attentive, the table was pretty clean, and the food was good but the wings were quite small.

Best brunch within 2 subway stops. Always solid and the staff is always awesome. Eat here or travel.

Stopped in here by chance and so glad we did! The pulled pork sandwich was out of this word. Well worth the 2 hour drive from home.

First time coming here and we were blown away by the food and drink selection! Amazing chicken tenders with a delicious Carolina bbq sauce, and amazing artichoke dip. They were sold out of the Mac and Cheese bites but a friend said they were amazing, so we re definitely going back to try them. For a place of its size, it s amazingly well spaced out and it quite roomy while feeling like an intimate pub. 100% coming back again!

Dropped in for brunch today and it was lovely. Very delicious egg bacon and tomato sandwich and amazing potato wedges. Very cozy place and warm, friendly staff working the floor.

What a perfect little place to grab a pub fare meal. Met a few friends here, and it was packed on a Saturday night. The beer on tap is top-notch, and the food selection is great. Not just sub-par bar rail cocktails, either. They will make some delicious creations with some higher quality spirits if you need them. Def work a try!

Gave them 5 stars 3 years ago and started going there 3 years before that. Great staff, consistently good food, always something tasty on the rotating taps not much else to say!

Once again ordered the Sunday night roast beef special for take out and it didn t disappoint. We had my sister and two nieces visiting and my sister remarked that it was the best take out meal she had ever had. I highly recommend The Mugshot, great food and great people.

Excellent spot. Discovered their kitchen during the pandemic and they have become a regular for takeout. The food really is a cut above typical pub fare. The fried chicken is a particular standout. Highly recommended!

Felt pressured to leave after waiting to find a seat note i was by myself just came for a couple beers ......I got one finally then five minutes later I was asked to move being they were busy I understand that but they had no seating for me left very unhappy and satisfied I am also a traveling restaurant and bar critic for a couple canadian magazines I have never been treated like this even in shifty dives this place was clean though clean

Originally I had plans to host friends in the park, but we got rained out on a Sunday and I called Mugshot Tavern ~3 hours before everyone was supposed to arrive and the wonderful Pablo reserved a section for me for 15 people on such short notice. We were treated to great, timely, personable service and Im so impressed with how affordable everything is. Great selection of drinks, snack food, and Pablo was simply incredible. Thank you for helping me pull off my birthday and thank you for giving me a new favourite spot in the area.

A very nice spot on the west end. Food and service was very good. Had a chicken sandwich, fish and chips and fried chicken. Recommend trying it out during the summer. Its a small but nice rooftop patio.

Had a tiring stopover after a long hike in High Park, wanted to unwind to somewhere a bit empty with satisfying grub. On the outside, it looked a bit empty but the lively and homely atmosphere has a nice meeting place vibe. Seating is anywhere between 2 to 8, excluding the bar. Surrounded by face which arent people you wouldnt think would end up in a lineup, there are a few who are friendly to serve you up some standard pub grub. Wings, burgers and fried goods which always pairs well with a brew. The Mugshot Wings were quite meaty with the heat of the Louisiana hot sauce dulled by the ranch. But at a certain point especially with a 2 pounder of wings, this switches and overpowers the ranch. For me, I was 4 away when the the sauce put me in a heated daze. For a small menu, they definitely have the worst offenders for being too sweet, salty or spicy. It took me longer to consult whether I want the traditional wings, a hefty burger or a classy main. Service was standard, really kept an eye on me as I scarfed down those wings while helping survive the aftermath. Their front of house is really friendly and if youre unsure, they do come to you and provide hosting duties which is something I wouldnt expect in a small establishment like this. For anyone visiting the cherry blossoms, taking a nature hike, or doing business locally, this spot feels like that place can help you get away.

I cant recall how we discovered this cozy neighbourhood pub but we have enjoyed all three visits to Mugshots. When I hear about local pubs closing in the UK and closer to home, I make an effort to support great locals like this one. The owner (who I think I recognize from The Alpine) pays attention to every detail and treats everyone with such respect. The drink list and selection of drafts beers (many from GLB) are great. I chose this place to have breakfast and a beer or two with my brother who was visiting from Calgary (he used to live in the area) and we had such a nice time. Pablo was so funny and nice to my wife when she wasnt feeling well. Everyone else was great, too. The brunch menu has all the favourites and the quality of the ingredients is top notch!

I have lived in High Park for 10 years and been here (minimum) 500 times. I have never (not one single time) had anything but brilliant service, food and drinks. Be it dinner, brunch or late evenings to watch sports and enjoy the awesome playlists. Always impressive and above expectations. Great attention to detail. Non pretentious yet extremely elevated. Strongly recommend.

Went twice this past Saturday, first for some drinks and later to eat. Both times great service. Eating later had poutine and chicken wings. Poutine was terrific and with great portion and as for the wings: absolutely brilliant! I dont think Ive ever had better, we were all very impressed. Ive never written a restaurant review before but I really wanted to say how great it was. I look forward to returning soon.

I have been there several times and every time the food and service has been excellent. I had the Philly Cheesesteak during my most recent visit. I really enjoyed it and it was a good sized meal. Also love the atmosphere there. Whether you are looking for a bite or just a cold pint I would recommend Mugshot Tavern.

I had the cheddar bacon burger with no bun and sweet potato fries whoaaaa. It was so good. And the portion of sweet pot fries was huge!!! I sat on the rooftop patio and our service was quick and efficient. Our server was really helpful in making my final meal decision and he was also very kind and funny! Lastly, the atmosphere was soooo cool-I enjoyed the mug shots but really loved the mug shot outdoor painting on the wall on the patio. Go here for efficient service, large portions and a cool vibe

This bar is a gem. The food was great. The staff made us feel at home. From first date to 50th anniversary, I would definitely recommend this bar for any occassion. I cant wait to go back.

What a local tavern should be, good beer selection with some other choices available. Sandwiches were good, freshly prepared. Staff were attentive and friendly. Seemed to be mostly local people, could see this being the local meeting place.

My favourite pub in the whole city. Everything on the menu is delicious. I dont know what the chefs do to their burgers but its some sort of crazy tasty magic. The rotating guest taps keep things fresh and the variety of beers are unique. Different stouts, lagers and sours. Service is always attentive, quick, kind and sometimes with humour. Relaxing atmosphere inside during the cold and rainy days and a nice rooftop patio during the summer months.

My sister and her bf come here all the time. I had several interesting beers on draft. The mugshot wings were delicious, and their fried chicken with Mac and Cheese are so friggin tasty. They were happy to turn on the volume on for the raptors season opener. Great spot!

Always a treat! Fun decor (obviously), super kind wait/bar staff, and excellent food. They also have amazing prices! My partner and I went, had a meal and a drink each, and only paid around $40 with tip. Highly recommended for a nice Sunday brunch after a stroll in high park

My group, consisting of around 10 people, visited here for lunch on a Saturday. I must commend our server, Pablo, for his exceptional service and kindness. When there was a mix-up at the table, and someone inadvertently received my food while I got theirs, Pablo promptly addressed the situation by kindly offering potato wedges, the original side of my choice. Thank you, Pablo, for your fantastic and considerate service!

Service was incredible! We were seated quickly and our waiter made some great suggestions. He even brought me a sample of vanilla bourbon cider because I couldnt decide. Definitely recommend getting whatever ciders on tap! And the mugshot wings are spicy and delicious.

Very unique bar. Loved the concept and set up of the space. Staff was very friendly. I personally had to take of two stars because I went there during the week when they opened and used their washroom. I noticed the garbage was filled to capacity- which made me question if the washrooms were thoroughly cleaned before they opened. They lost another star over the food. My wings were not seasoned and bland. This may not be an issue for others with plain tastebuds but I love spice and I know not even salt or pepper hit those wings before they hit deep fryer (yikes). I hate taking my food back for a replacement ..so I just took them to go and added my own flare to them. My friends did enjoy their sandwiches-- so I would suggest you order a sandwich rather than wings if you prefer more flavourful wings. My Long Island Iced Tea was perfect! I would of rated them 3.5 stars over the washroom issue...but I am not able to do half stars on here ...so they have to settle with 3 for now. Would go back again and place a different food order.

Was craving a night out with good craft beer and great food with a pal and boy did this place deliver. Great service, good music and a neighbourhood pub feel. The mugshot wings were exceptional and the spicy chicken sandwich with the wing hot sauce all over it - exceptional. Thanks guys.

Surprisingly really good appetizers. Id have preferred pickle chips to spears for fried pickles but they were really solid. Managed not to be full of scalding pickle juice. Good beer selection. The lavender peach cider wasnt very good but thats not their fault. Makes for a good conversation piece however.

Mugshot is a place I go fairly frequently. Their Big Mug burger has this perfect ratio of meat, cheese, and pickle that I cant get enough of. They also have some solid rotating taps. I learned about Peoples Pint by trying one of the rotating taps, and Im really glad about that one Mugshot *does* have other food, but I havent found anything I like quite as much as that Burger. Been a while since Ive tried their Poutine, but I think that needs a bit of work. Still a 5/5 overall, though.
