The Firkin Burger... Wow!!! Its ridiculous to think but its better than any burger that Ive tried including Webers, Wahlburger, Bobby Flays, Ramsay or anywhere. Its Firkin Amazing!! Food : 5/5

Ordered dill fish it was surprisingly really good but the waitress was horrendous she gave additude and basically didn t care about me as a customer inside was very dark and depressing we sat outside and basically got ignored while she enjoyed all the male customers attention which happened to be old men in their 50s at least or regulars I won t be returning go somewhere else no worth it paid 56 dollars for 2 plates of food looked like I could make it at my home

This is not a proper Firkin. The menu is limited and the kitchen sends out garbage. I was lucky to have ordered the burger with tater tots, but my companion was very unlucky, and felt sick afterwards. His fish and chips were terribly overcooked and hard as a rock. Why is the Firkin label still on this pub? Thats the ONLY reason we went there. Disappointing. Dietary restrictions: Not bad

Great atmosphere and service. Guinness poured perfectly. However, the food was below average. My chicken fingers were obviously fried in the same oil as their fish and fries. (Not chips). Tasted like chicken and fish fingers.

This was my second time visiting this location, and it has become a new stop we have to make if my friend and I happen to be in the Runnymede area. Great atmosphere, and excellent and friendly service! Our food arrived quickly and tasted amazing, definitely recommend! I also love that they have chef specials available!

Regular pub. Its nice. But I went there at the end of the day and sat down on the couch by the window. The sun made it very hot, even though it was a cold day

If you guys get the chance to have Leo as your server, youll have an excellent time. Food is really good, especially considering its pub food. I didnt have high expectations, but so far, its been great. Wings and beer are my usual go-to, and their hot wings are great.

Thank you for accommodating our large seniors hiking group. We appreciated having the specials / drinks menu read out to each of the two tables. Taking names to ensure we each got our proper drink was a great touch. As well, allowing us to stay to have our Executive meeting afterwards was also appreciated.

This place is a 10/10, the atmosphere is really nice. Ive been here in different seasons, and the service is usually very good. Sometimes you get beginner waiters, but they usually serve you well. The food is very tasty, especially the breaded calamari. The music is good, and the price is fair.

My son just competed in some grueling events at the Ontario Swim Championships out at the Toronto Pan Am and was craving mac and cheese. Ordered mac and cheese over the phone for pick up on the way home. It was super delicious! Thanks for feeding this hungry athlete and giving this exhausted swim mom a break from cooking. I wouldve given a complete 5 star as the mac and cheese was one of the best hes tasted but the main course version would not be enough to feed a regular kid half his size! Nevertheless, the service was amazing as always (my first time ordering for take out but not my first time eating there as Ive had a few ladies nights out on the rooftop patio in the past. Fish and chips one of my favs)!

Came for a birthday with a large party, double checked prior to coming to see they would be able to accommodate on a Saturday. They were super helpful and reserved seating for us. Drinks were great, would recommend the berry mojitos. Fun atmosphere. Would recommend and come again!

First time going here with my boyfriend and everything was amazing. We both had the shepherds pie and it was amazing. Also loved the British theme and cool art work on the walls. Good service as well, all the servers we talked to were really nice.

Great place for a brew and bite Quite and quint pub with a great selection of drinks and food. As far as pubs fare goes, the food is well above the average. The Schnitzel and ale pie are winners for me and classics like burgers, wings, and sandwiches are up to expectation. Go-to place around Runnymede!

Can t say anything about food, we didn t have a chance to try it. However service is disappointing. Came around 11 pm on Friday evening, waited 10 minutes for waiter to show where we can seat, after that guy just disappeared. We waited for another 15 minutes for someone to come and take our order. When I stood up, I saw one bartender busy with bar clients and 2 waiters just casually chilling in the corner talking to each other. We waited another 5 minutes and left. Would t recommend this place at all

Went there for a pub steak on Friday night, and the chef nailed the doneness each of us asked for. The server was fantastic too. Very friendly and on top of things.

Came here only cause fox and johns was busy. Took forever to get menus. By the time the waitress came we knew what we wanted. Waited forever for our drinks. I get the maple leafs are playing but the tv s were so loud you have to scream. I won t be coming back

Service is just horrible. You dont know who is serving you have random staff coming up to the table asking reapeted questions! Verry annoying , beer is warm ! The quality of food is way over priced ..and takes about 45 minutes to get to the the table .. unprofessional and very disorganized!

The food used to be good, when it was Bert and ernies. But, I ate some wings and they were terrible. They were frozen, rubbery and small. Wont be back for food. Its a big place which is nice. Friendly.

Horrible service i went there tonight June 16th I was denied service and accused of stumbling around and fallling off chairs when I have not been to your bar since the fall time. It s ridiculous that other customers get accused of things. She even cursed me out which is nasty, which was on another level I will not come back to this bar because of the bartender, she does not know how to treat her customers and does not know anything about customer service, it s the bartender with tattoos on her chest who was very rude never coming back to this place they just lost a good customer that by the way would come here weekly.

Nice place, part of the Ferkin pubs franchise. The food was very good, tasty, and decent portions. Our server, Savanah, was friendly and accommodating.

Food overall was good, lots of great options. The sign inside said to seat yourself, it took a while to get greeted, at least 10 or 15 minutes. At the time, the restaurant didn t seem very busy. Starters took a long time, as did the mains. Service seemed spotty. I usually don t get impatient at restaurants, but I found myself to be slowly getting to that point. It was alright.

I have to say Jack is the greatest. He has served my husband and I many times before. Great customer service. I hope he gets to see this.

Such a great place to eat and drink, the music selection was delightful and at volume that allows you to enjoy conversations. The service was very friendly, I appreciated the small talk and greetings. We had some nachos and they were good, a bit spicy for my taste but good nevertheless. Overall, totally recommended place.

Come here almost every Saturday. Always greeted with a friendly smile from all the servers. I usually sit upstairs and served by Akele. He is very friendly and attentive and remembers his customers. Ill definitely keep.comimg back just for him!

Its a pub! So, great beer and ok food. Patio is nice and the service can be slow if it is busy. Expected pub food options.

Food has gone downhill. Ordered 2 pounds of wings, 2 fish tacos, old fashion burger, fish and chips and a salad and some drinks. Took 30 minutes for the food to appear on the table. Is not like we ordered anything fancy but 30 minutes?

Always a pleasant experience. The staff bend over backwards to give you a good experience. They will let you share a sandwich, do individual bills,answer any questions, etc . Much better customer service than many more upscale restaurants.

First time going to this place with a friend. Love the British theme atmosphere. The Eggs Benedict and taters was spot on and delicious, customer service was excellent. Definitely will come back again in the near future.

Ok visit. Had to wait a while for service. Server didnt look too happy. I didnt order any food and its a good thing because others I was with did and the food didnt look inviting. Maybe I just caught then on an off day.

As a British person visiting I will be honest and say it could be taken as an English bar but with all the tvs your reminded how close to America it is. The staff are friendly and helpful, there is a nice sofa and plenty tables for relaxing and eating. Cant comment on food as not eaten here yet. But overall its a nice pub and as I live close I plan to visit more often.

This place has a great atmosphere, great staff and great food. I love the whimsical and well thought out interior design - always something to look at and admire. Definitely my favourite place to meet friends and get something to eat in Bloor West Village.

The Swan hosted a high school football re-union for over 120 and what an event they hosted. Kathryne and her staff were outstanding keeping our glassed filled and everybody was pleased with the wings , the chicken pesto sandwiches and many other options. The service was sensational and they deserve kudos for providing a venue that worked for our needs and being always so helpful. Whether a dinner for 2 or for 20, they will look after you here. Thanks Firkin Swan.

Hands down the best chicken sandwich Ive ever had hot crispy and tasty. The sweet potato fries and sauce were perfect as well. Samantha was our bartender shes the best very attentive.

I went to The Swan on a Sunday afternoon. The space was nice and the food was great. The coffee wasnt the best but it could have been a bad time of day for coffee.

I have always been a big fan of this place. I had been away between November and May. I returned today and was rather shocked at the stench in the ground level area. I could not stay there because it reeked so badly. What did it reek of? Old smoke, though smoking is prohibited in there. Dirty bodies. General dirtiness. This establishment, not with standing its popularity and the good food that is served here, requires a thorough and comprehensive cleaning. Everything in here is old and grungy and needs a serious revamping. The upstairs patio is safe because it s open air and you can t smell the dirt that you can smell downstairs.

Patio was a great place for a lunch. Wings were extremely good and the service was first rate.

I am always extremely careful in avoiding spicy selections on any menu that is presented to me. My dinner choice this evening was what I thought would be a very neutral Cobb salad. To my surprise it was extremely spicy and unfortunately I could not finish my meal. After a little detective work, my husband and I discovered that it was the guacamole. After speaking to both our waitress and then the manager on duty about perhaps mentioning on the menu that this component was spicy for fair warning, I was disappointed that neither staff member offered me any options for a meal that I had to push aside. I was not asking for the meal to be removed from our $100+ check but hoped one of the two staff members would have seen it appropriate to perhaps offer us a complimentary dessert or a coupon that could be used on a next visit. There will likely not be a next visit.

Im was surprised that i gave this a 5. I expected standard pub fare and service. But the food has been better than expected and the rooftop patio is super nice. Ive been twice over last few weeks. I had an amazing English breakfast the first time and a chicken burger the next. The drinks were good too. Very good for a chain place. And not that hard to get a table.

The Swan is a good place to grab a beer and some apps. Come here whenever I can, nice atmosphere good staff. Calamari is top shelf

i originally put a 2 star review on here because of an extremely poor experience on one visit. However following that review, the manager reached out and apologised profusely putting her hands up. She also invited us back, and we did so at approx the same day and time as our previous visit - and what a difference. Great service and good food - and we just love the rooftop patio. Will surely visit more regularly in future

Great service. Great food. Passed by this pub so many times and ventured in on a whim. We had the Little Larry s chicken sandwich and Big Blue burger. We demolished our plates. So tasty. Will definitely be coming back.

The hot wings were, as usual, delicious with the dill sauce. Drinking whiskey and beer on the patio, while people watching, so fun. Friendly service .Ill be back next week

By FAR the best Shepherds Pie Ive ever had at a restaurant! Very rich in flavour and great portion! The servers are also very friendly. Last but not least, I really like the atmosphere!

Service was okay at best. Bartender was busy convering with staff, if not with people they knew. Also last call was called early when no one in the restaurant.

Edit: not taking reservations is a truly bad idea, whoever came up with it is not adding to the pubs appeal. Were moving next door as we dont feel like chasing tables or lining up for a dinner and especially not when we have an occasion. The food is amazing!

*UPDATE NOVEMBER 2022* We went back for family night. The portions were at least 30% smaller. There were so few fries on my husbands plate he finished his fast and started pilfering mine, which never used to happen. We both had the fish and the fish was also at least 30% smaller. Predictably the price was the same though. It was annoying too that they allowed 2 parties of 3 people sit in the 2 booths meant for much larger parties. *APRIL2022* Great for family dinner night. As soon as we could, we went to eat there on the patio after lockdown. We were there in Apr 22 with 2 other families on a week night with all our kids and we felt really comfortable. The kids were a tad loud but the staff were cool about it and we were a bit separate from others. Since it was a Monday, no one seemed to mind and Im the type of person who is hyper aware of this. Did shush the kids occaisionly just in case. The food is GREAT and generous. The kids menu is a recommend even though none of the 11 years olds wanted it. All the younger ones got it and still left food. The server was so nice, the main meals dont come w juice like the kids menu but he offered as he did with the ice cream. Thankfully, the boys who talked a big game on the adult meals neither finished their meal nor had space for ice cream :D I love their fish and chips AND LOVE there is the option for tater tots instead of fries. Their ravioli looked awesome and their spicy wings are apparently legit spicy. The Irish Nachos were good. Id have those again. Recommend! ( i was a 4 but just read another 4 and I definitely liked it more than that 4 so Ive upped to 5)

Attended a Deaf event on Dec 2nd and the whole staff were very patient and accommodating. They took their time to understand what we would like to eat and even stayed as long as it would take. The menu has a good selection of foods to choose from.
