The Yonge St Warehouse in Toronto

I dined in 2 days ago and forgot my bag at the restaurant, since then Ive been trying to call them, email, message on instagram and their website, no responses anywhere. Not even the general manager responds to the email that I sent to the address provided by their official instagram handles automated reply. How can we reach you please it was something really important to me. Please let me know.

Tomato soup was a purée, not a soup. Cajun pasta with chicken was alright. Its frustrating that debit isnt accepted here which is unheard of, server was very nice when my card wasnt functioning. Music was a tad too loud. Prices are alright.

Hey, its been four years since our TMU gang hung out at that warehouse after exams! Its got a great vibe, you know? The only downside is the wait time. Its worth it to chill with friends.

Tonight we had a terrible experience! As two girls visiting this place, our orders were taken without any warning. We had something to eat, drank our beer, and asked for the bill. That s when we were told we couldn t pay by debit card and were forced by the bartender to pay in cash. We said we didn t have cash, and she told us to use the ATM inside. On top of that, we had to pay a $3.50 fee to withdraw money! We explained that this wasn t right and that, if they had such a policy, it should have been communicated before taking our order. Their attitude was disgusting when we pointed this out! We asked to speak to the manager, and another bartender came over claiming to be the manager, saying this was the way we had to pay. When we questioned whether this was legal, he argued with us, and we were forced to withdraw money from that machine to pay the bill. We ended up humiliated despite spending our money! What a ridiculous place! They are doing everything they can to avoid paying taxes!!! Hopefully, they don t get away with this!!!!

Went out with some friends to relax,the place was jam packed,music was good,only problem is the some staff on the upper floor are so grumpy,so we have to go down again because no one assisted us.

While I understand the need for ID checks near a university, turning away visibly older patrons in a half-empty restaurant reflects poorly on management. They were more interested in avoiding service than upholding standards. Do better.

I wanted to sit in the front and the Waiter made me go all the way to the back, even when I asked her first for it...

The music is good. Theres a lot of old pop music. On busy days, it is very difficult to find the responsible server. You have to wait all day to make eye contact. David card does not work. I paid in cash and left. lol..

Absolutely horrible service by your waiters. Teach your staff some manners, and then have them on the floor. This location is an absolute no go. The drinks and food were also terrible.

I recently visited Yonge Warehouse Bar in Toronto and was quite disappointed with the service. Despite the lively atmosphere, the staff seemed more interested in chatting among themselves than attending to customers. We had to wait a frustrating 18 minutes just to get our check. Its a shame because the place has potential, but the lack of attention to customers really put a damper on the experience. I hope they work on improving their service, as this was not what I expected.

At age 50 plus and on holiday, we were absolutely shocked when me and my partner were refused entry because we had no ID. Dont get me wrong we were flattered, but for sure we dont look like young pups any more and we know it. Absolutely shocking for tourists on holiday. Plenty of better places to go in the city.

Inattentive waitress forgot to bring three drinks we ordered to our table, and then attempted to charge us for them at the end, but luckily we caught the mistake before processing our payment. Always remember to check your bills before paying here! After waiting forever to get additional orders taken, we asked one of the hostesses if we could get up and just order drinks at the bar instead, thinking that it would expedite the process... But we were told no, and that we needed to wait for our waitress (who was still taking her sweet time). Meanwhile, the two bartenders are just standing there chatting it up with each other... Make it make sense? Either be a full service restaurant, or be a bar. The weird in-between thing is insane. Management needs to get their shit together and start coming down harder on the front of house staff for their abysmal customer service. The servers need to be held accountable, or trained better. If you enjoy sitting around wasting your time, go to Young Street Warehouse. Better yet, walk down the street and go to 3 Brewers instead where they dont ignore your table like an adopted stepchild

First time visiting and had a great experience except for the washrooms!! Why are they so small it s too uncomfortable. I d rather wait on a line for a larger stall rather than squeeze into cramped space. Food was amazing, service was great- always on top of filling the water and checking in.

The prices and environment is great but the service at the Yonge St location is THE ABSOLUTE WORST! waitress ignore you and pass you to eachother and still nothing after 30 minutes waiting! We go to Queens St location almost all the time and it is great there.

After reading reviews, we went prepared for slow service. Happy to report we we seated immediately and our server brought us water and told us the drink specials within less than 2 minutes of being seated. The attention to our table was adequate considering the customer service standards since 2020 (covid) have drastically dropped everywhere. Basically pubgrub, but was tasty and decently priced, music was loud but fit the atmosphere. Great location for university students and would probably relate better with the younger staff. Would return/recommend.

I went here earlier this week with my sister. The food was amazing but I m writing this review cuz Sue gave the best service ever literally the best server I ve ever had in my entire life, she was amazing!!! Great stop on our way back from a concert. Was a great vibe and mix of people, music was fantastic. The drinks were great, we had margaritas. Food was just okay. Would visit again.

We visited Toronto from Swansea uk, the Yonge St Warehouse was a brilliant find, great choice of food and beers, the staff were very friendly and helpful, if I lived in Toronto this would be my go to place.

Had a quick bite and a few drinks for supper during our visit! The rooftop patio was full, but we still enjoyed sitting inside. The music is a little loud, but the playlist was great! We had the nachos, and they were okay, not a whole lot of Toppings on it. The drinks, though, were to die for!

I came here for a couple of times. They have a patio during the summer. The music was loud there too. The price was lower years ago. We ordered fries and fingers but the portion is too small to share, too salty.

I am not at all impress! The place downstairs smells like bleach. The security guard is unprofessional. And first and foremost, the food made me and my partner both sick. It didnt taste good at all... the server didnt even know what was on the menu.. it used to be better. Something was rotten in there for sure. Patio was ok. ****Cheep****

Friendly staff, creative drinks, good food

This place was great! The drinks were bomb af, especially the sour key! We came here a few times during our stay and would definitely come again. Our server Valentina was great too!! Definitely a memorable place.

Always a good option if you want both quality and affordability! Obviously, you don t expect the highest quality or the portion sizes, but just decent enough. Staff are usually friendly and helpful. And be prepared for long lines over the weekend!

Was seated and waited for 20 minutes without anyone coming over but passing us to even say hi or offer waters. Was embarrassing to sit there and have multiple servers continuously pass us by

Wish I could give zero stars. I work in the industry I am generally very understanding but this was by far THE WORST service I have ever received in my entire life. Our server Martina was absolutely terrible. Friendly, but terrible. We were at this restaurant with the intention of just grabbing a couple drinks and a quick nibble to eat but ended up there for well over 3 hours because she took ages to complete basic steps of service. I don t usually condone no tipping any server, but wish I could ve in this case. Welp, sucks for my group as an automatic 18% gratuity was included for this god awful service. I swear every other server did more for our group than our actual server. Plus, my friends and I helped bus the entire table! Hell, we should ve been the ones getting a tip. This was a horrible experience. Never coming back!

I tell you, yesterday was my first time going to the warehouse on Yonge after looking for a place with a patio. This place was amazing it wasn t too busy and our waitress Nika I think her name we did what waitress should do. She constantly made sure we had everything, asked if we needed anything and was fast with delivering our food and beverages. If you re looking for a great place with a patio downtown I suggest going here. Thanks guys

Wish I could give this place zero stars. We waited at the front for 5mins to be seated noone came no acknowledgement from bartender or any waitresses downstairs. We decided to seat ourselves in the upstairs patio. We asked a waitress upstairs if we should just sit anywhere and she rudely pointed to a table and said I will give you a menu. The menu never came. After sitting upstairs for 20mins no acknowledgement again from any waitress I asked for a menu from a waitress walking by. She again rudely ask did you just seat yourself throw a menu down on the table and walked away. After waiting another 10 mins watching waitresses walk by us and ignore us we decided to leave. This place sucks all the food looks like it comes from the dollar store and the staff should all be replaced by immigrants, atleast they would appreciate the opportunity.

Their food is so bad. Please do not get anything on the 6.95 food items list. Everything I have eaten here is garbage that is why the prices are so cheap! Drinks are fine.

great spot with a lovely patio, loved the mushroom burger and fries and just the overall atmosphere. fun and loud music on the patio too (not insanely loud but i like loud music anyway so that wouldn t be an issue) and nice, very private bathrooms too.

Came over today for a quick lunch after almost 6 years! Last time I was here, I was a student at Ryerson lol. Had the best time and our server Paul was just great! His attention to detail was incredible. He made sure our food was perfect! Hes definitely the best server Ive had in Toronto! The perogies were amazing and the little donuts!!! You must try! Again, a big thanks to Paul for being so amazing!!

Be careful, been there twice scammed both times. Shame as good food and lunch specials but the servers will over charge and decieve you with the drink specials.

Good for drinks

Manager is from India and he doesnt respect the person who are from India.. He talked in a really disrespectful manner ..I went to outside for some after taking permission from person standing at the entrance and then after he said we dont have a policy to go outside without giving credit card ...if thats the policy then how the person standing at entrance allowed me to go outside.... It was really an embarassing moment for me and this is not at all acceptable. Thanks

How can a manager ask that from which country a customer belongs and then according to that they usually treat that customer?

Not a place I would recommend for a pleasant dining experience. I went with my family for some good food and time but worse decision ever. We had to ask for sauce for 5 times and when i mentioned it to the server (about asking it the 6th time and we almost finished our food) she made no eye contact and threw the ketchup on the table and left. And same happened with the drink. We had to wait for quite long to order for more food. We kept waiting and unfortunately we had to get up. When we tried talking to the manager, the blonde girl (server) with butterfly on her arm was so rude and started yelling on where to stand and kept going non stop. I get it you guys dont love your job and if its not your place to work, just dont work but don t be a racist. They took so long to come to the table despite of calling them over and over if we wanted something. And the blonde server had no dignity and was so rude. I dont recommend this place at all. Please go somewhere else with your beloved ones. Its disheartening when the highlight of the evening becomes the realization that its finally time to leave. Save yourself the frustration and avoid this establishment at all cost

All food items on menu have this one same characteristic chemical taste. The servers have no problem skimping out on all of the booze in your mojitos so long as you act like you hadnt noticed yet. In the evenings, get your company infiltrated by floozies whom the staff know and never kick out. Trash out of five.

Super disappointing experience. The food was good and server was nice, but the hostess was incredibly rude to us multiple times. We were also given ONE menu to share between 6 people. I would not come back to this location, unfortunately.

Waited for half an hour but no one was asking for order neither offered anything. Other guest came and they were served faster and their food also arrived and we kept on waiting. Felt insulted and had to leave.

It s a pretty decent place to go if you want few drinks and food with your buddies. Our server Valentina was really nice, and made sure we didn t go unnoticed and catered to us. We left with a pretty good impression for the hospitality we got and it s not expensive either. Shout out to our server Valentina again for making the place comfortable for us!

waited about 35 minutes for a server to come greet us at our table, which was a bad start-however ended up getting the sweetest server. Knowledgeable, very kind and helpful with recommendations. food came out so fast and was so good. and great prices especially for much you get!! highly recommend.

Best place for emloyment

This is absolutely a gem in Toronto located downtown. Vibes are nice laid back, food is great, prices are amazingly low for downtown Toronto, and the service is on point. Amazing service! Amazing ambiance & great vibes! I came on a Wednesday evening and there was a great dj in the house. I sat at the bar and Adam was very attentive, with great energy! Very nice people at this spot and I definitely recommend coming here to enjoy a night out! Cheers and keep up the great work

I mean its only getting three reviews cuz the food was really good. Our service was like really bad. We probably waited about 30 minutes just to get drinks and then maybe another hour and a half just for food. We saw about three or five people that got there before us that had their food and it was the exact same thing I ordered. The waitress was kind enough to offer free shots to make us feel a bit better, but I mean at the end of mythe day it took way too long for pretty much everything tough to say if I would eat here again

Nice place

It was my first time here and I was absolutely impressed by the level of service received from every single person we came into contact with. Our server was Lenor and she was FANTASTIC. Funny, friendly, engaging and just made our evening a lot more joyful. Emily, would pop out of nowhere and top up our water glasses. Not once, did we have an empty water glass on the table as Emily would constantly pay attention to our table and top up our water glasses without us having to track down a server. Not something you would expect as I have dined in fine dining restaurants where this would NOT happen. We spoke to the manager Erica to compliment her on the staff working that day and Erica was also a joy to speak with. She was actively listening to the feedback and I am sure relayed our positive feedback to the team. Jacob the bartender also on one occasion brought our drinks to the table and was engaging and friendly. I can say with confidence that post-covid, this was probably the best service experience we encountered in a really long time. We sat on the Patio, which was amazing and the cocktails we had were reasonably priced and yummy. I had a spiced guava something that was recommended by Lenor (too drunk to remember the name) and boy was she right! You should all feel proud for the level of service and going above and beyond to make our dining experience at your establishment a true delight. THANK YOU from the bottom of my heart :). We will most definitely be back!

My recent visit to the Warehouse restaurant was disappointing. The service left much to be desired as the servers were quite rude and lacked proper communication skills. Additionally, there was confusion regarding the availability of vegetarian options, with inconsistent responses from different staff members. Furthermore, during a previous visit, there was an incident where our drink was dropped and replaced with the same one. Overall, the lack of coordination among the staff and these instances of poor service were disappointing. I d never visit there again to be honest.

Black bean burger is fire

Top shelf spot in the core. We came after work and were blown away with the service: totally floored. The scene: we sat at the rooftop patio, where the music was less loud and the atmosphere was awesome. The service: This part was absolutely stellar. Alejandra, the front of house staff warned us it just rained on the patio, but happily showed us to a dry area in the sun. Our server, Lenore, was beyond polite, bubbly, helpful, and had great suggestions on food and drinks. She even suggested an off-menu concoction that was a favorite of hers. We nicknamed it The Lenore . She stopped to see how we were doing and took time to engage in genuine conversation, despite a steadily growing rush; never flustered, always on her A-game. Throughout our drinks and meal, another staff (Emily) was always passing by and filling out waters without question or without interruption. This happened several times, and Emily also asked if everything was good. Additionally, the bartender Jacob stepped in to bring our drinks out when the patio filled up. Seamless transition - so much so that I didn t realize how busy it became. Top notch teamwork. Erica, the manager, took time to hear our positive feedback, was professional and genuine. Whatever the company is doing to train and engage the staff is working. Keep it up and keep improving! Mad respect to the entire crew all around! The food and drinks: I mean, you CANNOT get value like this anywhere in the core. Drinks were tasty and not super watered down. The food was tasty too. Can you maybe get higher quality elsewhere? I guess so. But at this value, our burger and poke bowl: chef s kiss. TL/DR: The Warehouse slaps. Amazing team and insane value.

The waitress didnt inform the whole table (6+ people) that 18% gratuity is already included in the bill, causing us to double pay the tip (30%+). When asked for a refund of just the additional tip, we were denied our money back.

What a bad service, first they complained to me about a water that I brought with me and not even an apology because they claimed that I was outside the establishment, then they didnt attend to me, they ignored us for 5 minutes with the dirty table and finally we left, we went to JOEY where they do know how to treat to the people

My best friend and i wanted to get some food and a drink after her shift, i was carded at the door, Im 43 years old. you idiots turned down no less than $200 from us because the only ID i had on me had expired. again, not 25, not 35 - Im 43! . well never go back nor will anyone i know. congratulate your cop reject door man.

The food is bland and feel like it came from the frozen section. They charge premium price for mediocre food and increased drink prices substantially. These changes are after the owner changed. Atmosphere and service is still great.

Walked in looking forward to.a.good meal. Walked out with stomach cramps and a general feeling of disappointment. The potato skins were actual garbage. Not at all up to the quality of most other establishments Ive been to. Service was great but the food was awful. Yall need a new chef. The sound system is also really bad. Bass is overdone causing really unsavory sounding vibrations that just ruin the music.

Its a small place, well lit. Our server was very nice.nachos were a 7/10. We had a cocktail called pink warehouse( not too sure of the name) but there was an offer. Double the quantity of alcohol for the same price (13.75). Would recommend visiting once. Wouldnt visit again.

The food is great and the prices are the best in the location for what you get. However, as much as I like this place, I can not recommend it in good faith with groups of more than 2. The music is too loud to hear anyone who isnt right next to you. If you cant talk to the people you came to the restaurant with, it doesnt matter how good the food is. When I asked our server if the music could be turned down, they said it couldnt. Will likely not be coming back again.

Last weekend, I visited with my friends we really like the ambience and vibe in there. There was good crowd. The deals were amazing, especially for drinks, where we could have a shot and a beer for just $9.99. The service is great as it was quick and well presented. But if I talk about food none of us likes that. Overall, a great spot to unwind and have fun with friends.

I only went for their power hour for drinks and it was great. Went on a Monday afternoon and no one was there. Our server was on top of everything extremely polite. Got around 6 or 7 drinks and paid an amazing price. Atmosphere was welcoming. Would definitely come again! And apparently the smash burgers are to die for !!!

Everything s amazing, the staff the food and the atmosphere. However the security person at the entrance yesterday was being so disrespectful which irritated me a lot. Eventually we left. We will make sure to comeback again when he is not there.
