I love enjoying a bowl of ramen while looking outside to the street view. The atmosphere here has such a unique vibe that makes the experience even more special. The customer service is excellent, and the staff are quick and efficient. My favourite dish is the Chicken Original—it’s simply delicious!
I usually go to Kinton Ramen, the food is good, usually fast, i have been there a couple of times. But something i noticed is that the servers might be a little bit forgetting things you ordered and this just happened to me more than twice. They look unhappy. Everytime i have to ask for the bill or something extra they barely notice you or is hard or have to stand up, or ask you again if you need something else. And they are just there almost intentionally avoiding you even if there is not that much of people around the place, fair if the restaurant is busy. But once i ordered gyoza they forgot to bring it, and is uncomfortable to go to a placer and order things that they tend to forget. Attention to detail is important in customer service. Greet the customer. Ask if everything is fine and complete. I feel they tale the order and then go hide in the kitchen and ignore you are there. One guy in the kitchen noticed me with long hair and glasses he was very helpful but i think that is the servers job.
Great stop for a Ramen fix. Is not the most authentic but definitely satiates your craving. The spicy soup base is VERY spicy so order with caution .
The garlic pork ramen soup I got was good, better than the one I tried in New York a few months ago. But the portion was small and for the same price in this neighborhood, there are better options.
Order kinton for so many times but the food portion is not stable as the same size everytime we ordered This order via uber. I know that their food portion is not much, so I placed an order for extra meet ( pork belly ) for $4 + extra bamboo, beansprout and egg for over $25 but you can see how was the size in the picture. Feel like their increase their price but still cut off the food portion. I can understand everything is so expensive now but it doesn't mean you increase the price and cut off the food quantites. Hope they can improve in the future.
I had dinner here with some friends and I ordered the original pork ramen. It tasted good. The egg was especially delicious. Taking off 1 star because: - Other ramen restaurants I've been to include an egg for free in their ramen but Kinton charges extra if you order any ramen flavour other than the original. It feels stingy. For the prices here, I'd expect all the ramen to include an egg for free. - The waitress gave one of my friends a dirty dish and we had to ask her to replace it.
I went there with my aunt, uncle, and brother last Sunday. We were satisfied with the food both times. It's delicious. It's located on Bloor Street in Toronto. The service is good and the food is served quickly. I remember I had the original pork ramen. My aunt ordered the original beef ramen. I think her soup is very rich. The soft-boiled egg is also delicious. And the fries are fried just right. Crispy and the saltiness is just right. The seats were full at 7:00 on Saturday. It seems that the business is usually good.😃😋
One of the advantages of eating at a Kinton Ramen location is consistency. This branch definitely served up noodles and appetizers that were up to the usual Kinton standard. The order was messed up a couple of times, but the food was delicious and they were served very quickly. The plain ramen was a little too plain, unfortunately. Otherwise, a thoroughly enjoyable quick meal.
I always get the spicy pork miso and hot karage. The new sauce on the hot karage is good . But the original flavor/sauce was the best. :) either way 5 stars! Food is amazing and the work ethic is always on full display.

Amazing atmosphere, the food is quickly prepared and served on time and hot. The appetizers never disappoint and are always served after 10 mins of ordering. I ve been here countless of times and have always had my food served within 10-15 mins. This place never seems to disappoint. Highly recommend anyone to go here with your friends or with your partner.

Not bad ramen, lacked extra toppings, chili oil, or spices.. but the classic pork ramen was ok. you can ask for hot sauce and they will bring it to you. Delicious springy noodles. Especially thanks for the very friendly service of the waiter Roman! He made our evening very pleasant, despite the fact that there were a lot of people and the place was very crowded

Portions are incredibly small. Do you see that how small the cheese cake is? It is smaller than credit card. Even ramen is so small, and they charge $20. I dont underatand their price policy. IT IS RIP OFF.

The ramen was delicious, the portion was very large. The service is very good, the waiter Roman was very friendly. To go down to the toilet you have to walk down very steep steps. The toilet is dark and gloomy looking. You can eat quite tasty food in this establishment.

Had the basic shoyu ramen, which was probably a mistake. The ramen broth was unfortunately disappointing. It did not have the intensity of flavor that Kinton had in the past. I suspect part of that is the need to cut costs and stock 4 kinds of soup in smaller amounts, and also push the summer chilled noodles. Everyone in the reviews who had a great experience had a special so maybe the basic menu items are suffering a bit.
We were not allowed to dine in at 9:50 pm even though store was open till 10:30. Secondly we were not allowed to use the restroom and were being told you have to order to go food to use the restroom. This I found very strange and ridiculous.

Always get the fried bean curd extra!! This is THE place for getting a good bowl of ramen. Each bowl is made perfectly with exceptional attention to detail. It s slightly pricey but it doesn t disappoint one bit. Service can be slow at times if they have a ton of orders to prepare. Vegetarian options: Good amount of veggie broth options. I usually order the shoyu and spicy veggie ones. Do try their cold ramen variety as well.
Workers are too busy conversating to themselfs to pay attention to customers. I could have left without paying is how unattentive they were , didn t ask how the food was or anything . When speaking to me it was with disinterest honestly I haven t been to any kinton as bad as this one , the noodles were stuck together? kaarage dry and tasted like it had been sitting out all day . Unfortunately this deserved a bad review and I don t even usually take the time out of my day to leave one at all . Sorry please do better

I was there and the servers didnt even care about me they didnt even looked at me I waited 20 mins just to order. I called servers many times. They did not come. There was one guy and one girl server at that time around 9:15 pm They looked very upset. They do not care customers I ended up leaving. Hello, I am very disappointed because the waitress who attended me was not friendly, when I asked her on 2 occasions about the ingredients, when I made the choice of my food I asked her if it was spicy and she told me that very little when I tried the food and it was too spicy. Another waiter asked me if everything was fine and I said no that the food was very spicy, he told me that he would bring me extra broth to minimize the spiciness, but it was still very spicy, its a shame not to have received good information and pay for something that was not consumed.

Great food with absolutely rude servers. They treated us as if they were doing us a favour and serving us free food. After coming to our table 15 mins after we sat down, we ordered for drinks and starters and she rudely told us that last call is 10pm. It was 9:30 and we were going to order ramen in 10 mins but it really soured the mood. The portion sizes are the smallest out of all Kinton Ramens and the servers really need to get good. Btw as I write this, weve ordered but havent gotten water yet. I wasnt going to post this but for some reason the server wanted to yank all the plates off our table before we got up. Never coming here again
Good service and atmosphere. However, surprisingly there is no veggie or vegan options on the summer specials menu. When asked if they could make any accommodations, was told they can t.

Courteous staff. Enjoyable food. Prices are reasonable. Street parking with paid parking lots in the area. I was a little uncomfortable in the seating area, but I am a big person. Good portion size and tasty. I also enjoyed the kim-chi. Love the loyalty card I was issued when I finished my entire meal. Vegetarian options: I didnt pay attention to the vegetarian options, but they do have a tasty kim-chi.

I just finished my lunch at Kinton Ramen. I ordered a special lunch, and unfortunately, the pork in the donbuli bowl was gamey. Ramen was as good as usual.

Ordered out. Tasteless broth. Two measly pieces of pork and some light garnishing. Food looked nothing like the photo. This trash is $20? Ordered a side broth for $5.50. Was probably around 250ml or less. See pic. What a joke. First and last time I ll ever order from here. It was a mistake. Way better and heartier soups around the city with more meat for a fraction of the price.

Cozy ramen restuarant right near Runnymede station and High park! They have great ambiance through lighting and music that isnt distracting. The food is wonderful, with some of the crispiest karage chicken, and bold ramen flavours. They are always coming up with new ramen bowls worth trying out! Bonus! The prices are super reasonable, with combo options.

I usually eat ramen with minced garlic. When i got my order, i asked for a little bit of minced garlic but they charged me 2$ for a tiny bit of garlic ( 2tsp of minced garlic ). There is no spices on the table so i had to ask for it ( where i m from, there are spices on the table for customers to use). The food is nothing special, the price is a kinda expensive, the atmosphere is ok.

A great vibe, the servers were friendly and the food was really tasty. I got the pork spicy garlic with a seasoned egg, it came out in about 15 minutes fresh and hot. Would totally recommend. Wheelchair accessibility: They might not have wheelchair accessible bathrooms, however the front access is.

First time to this particular location of this chain ramen restaurant. Ive been to a couple of their other locations, but not recently. The place was ok, standard ramen decor. There were quite a few staff members around but we definitely didnt feel that the staff were super attentive. They were friendly enough I guess though? Food was ok, but to be completely honest kinda just standard ramen fare. Again the kitchen seemed like it was fully staffed but food took a bit to come still with only a couple other tables. In the end this place didnt impress me at all. Overall the flavours and staff were all just medicore or basic even. I dont think I will be returning to this particular location again as there are literally tons of other ramen places to try. I think I would only recommend this place if youre in the area and are really craving some ramen as I dont think theres many other ramen options close by.

I ve been coming to this place since they have opened. As years gone by, the portion of their meal kept shrinking from an adult size portion to now a kid size portion. You would come out hungry after paying $25+ per person. $20 for a bowl of noodles with two strips of bacon. I think $1 instant noodle plus home made bacon is much more fulfilling. $10 for 3 pieces of original karage has shrunk to miniscule. Used to be 4 women fist size and cost only $7. Donburi was portion for a toddler baby. Cheese cake also shrunk from 7 to 5 and thickness has reduced by at least 30%. Yet prices went up. This was once my son s favorite noodle spot but the way they kept shrinking the food and increasing the prices has made this place a rip off.

Amazing ramen. Fast service, around 5 minutes for seating, menu and serving. Beef ramen was an explosion of flavors, umami and the likewise green onion complementing the broth wonderfully. Noodles were done just right. Lovely place would visit again.

The service was top tier! The waiter made sure that he got each of our orders and he made sure to confirm with each of us who wanted what. The food came shortly after having ordered and it was extremely fresh and delicious! The portions were quite large so I wasn t able to eat all of my food but when I come back I ll make sure to be extra hungry! The atmosphere of the place is lovely and it doesn t interfere with the eating experience! The music is not too high energy to the point where I get fidgety. The presentation of the food and the choice in furniture, cutlery, and tableware works with the vibe of the restaurant. Vegetarian options: I really enjoyed the vegetarian options as I am a bit sensitive when it comes to textural experience. The bean curd option was exactly what I expected and the flavour was exquisite! I didn t feel as though I missed out at all when going with a vegetarian option.
