Decent breakfast place. Food was average. Was not busy when I went. I would say that from value proposition is was ok, prices were fairly high for what you got but the staff were nice and it's a great location. My latte was passable but would probably stick with straight coffee next time (for the cost difference of a double vs just coffee).
It’s been a nice experience. Good food. Very friendly lady! Loved the art work inside the restaurant.
Came in for brunch. Their food was tasty. Especially the pancakes with their syrup dressing. I don’t know what kind of syrup their using, but it’s a perfect balance of sweetness! Highly recommended. Staff was kind and environment felt fairly cozy.
Great breakfast spot, very welcoming. My husband and I stopped while we're visiting Toronto from the States. Highly reccomend! Great coffee, food, and environment! The hash was AMAZING!
Amazing experience! Super good food and The staff is so kind and they explain everything to you, very considerate and polite and always with a smile. You have to try the peanut butter and brownie milkshake 🤤
What a lovely little spot. Excellent service and incredible food. I had the Mediterranean eggs benedict with quinoa salad and ate every last bite. I highly recommend this spot!
An amazing place for breakfast, brunch, or dinner. Their open doors let you enjoy your food, the weather, and the stunning view of the park. Everything I've tried is absolutely delicious. Today, I had the chicken penne Alfredo, and I have no regrets – it tasted fantastic. The excellent service enhances the experience.
I had higher expectations for this place but I’m honestly disappointed. Starting off with the decor, it really needs some changes to liven it up. It was super dim and it takes you away from the sunny and vibrant vibes of Queen street. The Oreo cheesecake milkshake was a huge letdown as it tasted very watery and it seemed like it was made with ice cubes instead of ice cream. We even found some ice at the bottom of the glass. It also didn’t have any whipped cream which is a milkshake essential in my opinion. Amo’s Omlette, there was no cohesiveness to this omlette at all. The ingredients seemed to be prepared separately and had zero flavor and seasoning even though it’s supposed to be their special. Veal parm sandwich was good. Veal was very tender and saucy. The home fries and the french fries tasted exactly the same with slightly different seasonings. I expected the home fries to actually be more homemade and have that heavier texture and flavor than french fries. All in all I wish this place the best but adjustments need to be made specially on Queen you need to stand out. I later found out that it’s supposed to be Italian but there was definitely no clear theme or identity to the interior or the menu items.
Very generous portions, beautiful restaurant, great tasting food, I highly recommend it
First time eat here for breakfast, food so healthy and love decorating plates, will comeback again
We had brunch at Amos. The shashuka was delicious, the service was wonderful. I highly recommend this place.
Popped in for breakfast on the weekend and enjoyed people watching through the open-air entrance. Good menu options including latke benedicts and the usual fare. My bagel BELT with turkey bacon was excellent and the home fries were done my favourite way- crispy! Americano was strong and piping hot. Service was friendly and prompt. Definitely recommend!
Vegetarian options: Large selection. Food
Absolutely delicious. The latka hash is delightful! Definitely will be coming back here soon. Kid-friendliness: They have high chairs and bench seating!
Delicious beautiful breakfast!
Great and tasty. Thank you. This is a real review and I am not a robot. I had a hot espresso, this is that me espresso review: yum. I had the thanksgiving special: also yum. Yum but did not make me think about the South Park thanksgiving special which is a shame because that s probably their best special.
Our family recently moved to the Beaches and were so happy to discover Amos - our new favourite brunch spot. Its rare to find a restaurant where the whole family enjoys the food. We had fun eating right on Queen St. watching the world go by. Kid-friendliness: High chairs avaialble and a clean washroom. Smoothies was a great way to get the kids to eat their vegetables.
After strolling the boardwalk on a beautiful Sunday morning, we had a fantastic breakfast at AMOS. Great eggs benny + omelette, and friendly service. Well definitely be back!
Wonderful spot for breakfast and brunch. Quality food and delicious coffee. I got the Easy Eggs with tasty home fries and turkey bacon. The atmosphere was relaxing and the service was friendly. Will definitely be back next time Im in town.
Gem of a restaurant. Quality food and great choices for smoothies
I love the food and smoothies here! The watermelon & cucumber smoothie is delicious. The staff are so friendly, highly recommend!
Lovely spot, delish eats!
Beautiful little restaurant! Very nice welcome and service by Gabriella. We enjoyed our experience! We will come back with pleasure!
Great breakfast. Very creative and original with a huge menu selection. Delightful service. A wonderful addition to the Beaches dining options. Highly recommended!
The Chefs creations are delicious - loved by both kids and adult. An absolute gem in the Beaches. Highly highly recommended! Kid-friendliness: Very welcoming to children and eliminated any picky eaters. My 3 kids LOVED their brunch choices!
Was very delicious!! Presentation and taste was absolutely incredible. Highly recommend this new spot !!
I cant believe anyone would consider this a good place to eat. Our omelettes were warm at best, and mediocre with tinned mushrooms and some fried peppers. The toast was very pale, cold dry bread. When I mentioned this to our server she came back with the same pale bread with grey marks on it and a few grill like marks. No butter, dry and cold. I commented on no butter and she actually said, Oh, you want butter on it, and set down a bowl of jam and butter in peel off containers. Dry, cold toast with no butter? And if they get toast wrong..... Not worth the time, money or waste of food.
Honestly, this is the BEST breakfast I ve had in years. The eggs were cooked to perfection and the blueberry almond smoothy was delicious. I ll l definitely go back for a breakfast or lunch.
Amazing food , best Arrabbiata sauce ever had .
We biked out to Beaches and had breakfast here this morning. We had great coffee and meals. Really loved the Middle East hash on a latke! Highly recommend. Great service, food and vibe.
Welcome to the hood Amo s! Yummy brunch, fresh and tasty! Will be back
Great spot for breakfast, quick efficient service that left nothing to be desired. The food was delicious and all the flavours were balanced well, Gabriella was great and we ll be back again soon!
Great place to stop for breakfast. Fresh fast and the service was quick and friendly. Will definitely come back for lunch and dinner another day
Incredibly sized portions for the salads
Went here for brunch this past weekend. The food was excellent and the service was great (Gabriela was very friendly and attentive). We LOVED the Lemon Ricotta pancakes. Will definitely be back soon! Vegetarian options: There were plenty of vegetarian brunch options. Parking: We parked on a side street for free right next to the restaurant. Theres also paid street parking available on Queen Street.
Loved the staff, the food, location and service. Highly recommended.
2024 May: patio opened, has a view of the green KEW park. 2024 Mar: gr8 services, food, ambience, and reasonablly priced. looking forward to it getting LLBO, and patio in summer Food
With so many brunch options in the neighborhood, its hard to stand out. Ive been here four times since its opened and everything has been consistently exceptional. Unsure why its not busier.
Sweet spot for brunch or lunch. Food is great with fast service. Staff are welcoming and friendly. Decor could be more inviting.
Delicious food, great dish presentation. Lots of choices. Friendly staff.
Very poor quality food! I usually do not criticize for a new restaurant, but you guyz need to update alot. Atleast do not buy readymade tomato sauce from market and toss with the pasta. It s easy to make homemade and tastes much nicer! Also, pancakes are the same case! Tastes bitter because of excessive vanilla essence? Panini sandwich was lacking of a salt and should be little more crispy! May be try these suggestions and you can find some good customer retention! Not worth to try as per this first visit. Will come by sometime later and see the quality of food! I like to support local businesses! Service was very mediocre. Wheelchair accessibility: Not wheelchair accessible!
Finally! A restaurant that serves main salads as described without loading the bowl with lettuce - thank you chef! I had the Mediterranean Chicken Salad and it was pleasantly large, delicious, and packed with everything it was described to be. The chicken pieces were large, moist and nicely seasoned. The lemon vinaigrette dressing was light and measured perfectly. Our server was very friendly and attentive and well able to manage all tables. This restaurant is a newcomer to the heart of the Beach neighbourhood and with its varied menu, reasonable pricing and welcoming atmosphere it is sure to take root.
A great new breakfast spot in the Beach! Really yummy food, accommodates my requests flawlessly and service was friendly and kind. We will be back.
Really great addition to the neighbourhood! Waitstaff was really friendly and gave a great recommendation on the Amos Latkes. Highly recommend this place.
Queen St East hasnt had a decent brunch eatery for a while. Well now it does! A friend and I popped in to check out Amos and enjoyed a delicious, affordable meal (eggs florentine was perfect), in an urban chic eatery right across from Kew Park. I have to go back soon to try their lemon ricotta pancakes ... or maybe the avocado grilled cheese sandwich (yum)
Moist and flaky salmon with a crispy and crunchy crust, this pistachio-crusted salmon is equally delicious and nutritious!
Went for brunch- delicious food, and the smoothie was so fresh (you could tell it was made with real fruit) Will be returning for sure.
It s not everyday you find your new favourite place to eat - however that s what happened to me today at Amos! Stepping in off Queen St I immediately liked the vibe of Amos and it s open front - perfect for people watching. I ordered a breakfast bagel (gf) with turkey bacon and a house salad and it did not disappoint. The portions are generous and there were 3 gf options to choose from, I went with the everything bagel which was super delicious! Service was excellent and I loved the atmosphere with jazzy swing dance playing quietly in the background. It was such a great vibe I could relax, check work emails on my laptop and then be just minutes from the beach when ready to push off. I will definitely be back!
Came in to try a Caesar salad and did not disappoint. Very cozy and welcoming space. Food was top tier!! Will be coming back to try brunch but if its anything like the salad I had then I know Im in good hands.
Excellent quality, price and service. Will definitely recommend.
Four of us just finished dinner here for my moms 86th birthday. Two of us had the Shrimp Alfredo, one had Seafood Linguine, and the other was Chicken Penne and we shared two house salads. Each entrée came with Italian garlic bread. The service and food were both worthy of the 5 stars. The Alfredo sauce on my pasta was probably the best Ive ever had. My mother is a local beach resident and has dined at many of the Beaches restaurants and I think Amos is quickly becoming one of her favorites. (Shes already eaten there twice) Highly recommend!!
Got free smoothies when they opened. Today I came back for brunch and it was very nice too.
Everything is amazing! Food incredibly delicious and the service was just perfect!
Absolutely amazing! I got the Crusty Pistachio Salmon sooo tasty, and I also ordered creamy avocado flavor surprise me, Dani was our server she treated us really nice!!! Five stars
Enjoyed our breakfast. They are friendly and accommodating. We enjoyed the egg bene hash and the kids had pancakes.
Came here Monday April 1st and must say I ll be back the food is outstanding I ordered the Benjamin Benedict with fries and it was that good I ordered it again immediately and ate it all One thing I must say though is when the waitress takes your drinks order bring it straight away don t wait for the food to arrive to bring the drinks because your missing out on a second sale of drinks now we could of been enjoying our coffee while we waited for our food to cook and by the time our food arrived chances are we would order another drink to go with our food All in all a fantastic little place to sit back and watch time fly out the window while indulging in Chef/Owner Nahid s great cooking Vegetarian options: Lots of options to choose from Dietary restrictions: Let the waitress know and the chef will take care of your every need Kid-friendliness: They love kids and have a great kids menu
This restaurant is too small! It is already bursting at the seams. Wonderful food, super service I have already eaten here 4 tines. Gabriela the Manger is the best. Hopefully I wont have trouble getting in next time! KUDOS
Great brunch. Good portions. Lots of choices. Very resonable prices. Nice smoothies too.
Best breakfast in the Beaches. The latka benedict is the bomb.
recently opened at the bottom of our street, will be our new go to breakfast spot! great food, lovely staff, and right beside the ten spot which makes for a perfect morning!
Got a breakfast for two here today: classic eggs with bacon + benedicts + coffee. Service is fast and friendly; meals are yummy and prices are very reasonable. Must highlight the coffee - it was great, tastes like a craft, not like a grocery store one, wanted to ask if they sell it in bulk.
Amazing food from appetizers to desserts. Every bite was savory and delicious. Fellow Beachers, we are super excited about this new place which is just down the street. Would definitely recommend, and will be going back soon.
We ordered take out and everything was excellent! We ordered the burger and Cobb salad, both delicious and couldn t decide on the cheese cake or chocolate cake so we ordered both, so yummy! Definitely will be back!
Delicious food and excellent service,
I was craving for a burger and decided to try it out. It was SO GOOD! Such a nice atmosphere and staff, will definitely come back.
Exceptional experience! Service was truly outstanding - attentive and friendly. The cuisine, particularly their brunch selection, was of the highest quality. I highly recommend this restaurant for anyone looking for a top-notch dining experience. Five stars without hesitation!
A really great breakfast place in the Toronto beaches neighborhood. The prices are decent, portions are generous, good service and the food tasted great. I had a latke benedict for breakfast and it was delicious. I will definitely return back again. Kid-friendliness: Childrens menu
We wanted to give them a try as they ve just opened recently and we weren t disappointed - food was great and service was too. Chicken parmigiana sandwich and burger were great as were the sweet potato fries! We will definitely go back to try some other menu items - California Hash is next :) Staff were REALLY nice!!
Great new restaurant located in the beaches
