The Atmosphere was was great. I order thier Beef Taco and Pull Pork Taco. Great portion, but found it dry not moist. The flavor was ok not great, had add hot sauce just to get the heat flavor.

My first time here was amazing! Dave took care of us and was so excited to help us pick out the best tequila for the occasion. Love the energy

Came here with my friends last Wednesday for brunch and honestly we had the best time filled with delicious margaritas and food. Our server Ranesa was super friendly and a nice addition to our experience. Definitely recommend if you re looking to have a good!!!!

Came to Anejo the other day, the food was delicious, but our bartender Gavin was the best part of our experience.

Service, guacamole, salsa and drinks were great. Chips were nothing special, out of a bag. The worst part was the tacos; we tried the fish which has no taste, steak which was very dry (almost a chocking hazard), chorizo which was also tasteless.

We came here for a birthday dinner for my husband and we throughly enjoyed the food, atmosphere and high energy from our server ranesa! She is absolutely amazing.

I recently went to Anejo at Shop at Don Mills and i was amazed of how welcoming the environment was. i was accompanied with great hospitality and service. The Bartenders name was Gavin and he displayed a great job at what a bartender should do. Gavin s knowledge with Serving and awareness at the bar was truly outstanding. He frequently checked up on me to see if i was okay, or if I needed anything. Gavin is a great example for anyone that wants to learn how to bartend. Food was good, however the guacamole was a bit on the salty side. Dave was our server and he was exceptional and kept us entertained and made sure the food was coming and constantly checking up on us to make sure everything was good.

The environment, service and waiter (Dave) was awesome. The waiter was funny, approachable and friendly service. First time here and I would definitely recommend the restaurant. Their chili coconut margarita was really good.

Slow service, we waited even though it was not busy. Had to ask for utensils, our meal order took awhile, we waited for our bill way to long.

We always have a fantastic time at Añejo, and our recent visit was no exception. We had the pleasure of being served by Renée, who went above and beyond to explain the menu and recommend some incredible drinks. She and Rodger brought such great energy, making our experience truly memorable.

Love it here! Me and my friends go very often for happy hours! Had the pleasure of being served by Renee (hope I spelt your name right) and Heliah.. they were very informative and helpful with promotions. My complaint is about the poorest service I have experienced to date at Anejo Don Mills location. The servers name was WILL ; he was like trying to find Waldo, no where to be seen or at least he wasnt serving us. We initially placed our drink and appetizer order with the hostess that seated us. WILL finally made an appearance after we finished our table side Guac. We gave him our order, after receiving our order, he never came back to us to ask how everything was or if we needed anything. I had to stop another waitress in passing to ask for more water, which she brought to us. We wanted to order more tacos, however, we could not locate WILL ; an Asian girl approached us to ask if we wanted more tacos, we place another order thru her. We sat for quite awhile after eating waiting to see if WILL would bring us our bill, once again, no show, I had to ask another server for our bill. Horrible experience this time. Needless to say, NO tip went Wills way. Please hire servers that are more attentive with paying customers, I know you have a few great ones there.

Great location, decor on point, loved the comfortable chairs and patio. Food was average, tacos a bit disappointing as they had almost nothing on top just the meat and a few cilantro leaves. The margarita was so sweet made with pulp so no bueno. I went back a year later and it happened to be happy hour. Worst margarita and tacos I ve ever had sorry! The lime juice was so concentrated. I tried Taylor s landing plain margarita ( same happy hour night) and it was 1000 times better. Taylor s landing had the dehydrated fruit a mint and a lime wedge as well as a nice lime juice. The añejos had nothing other than the salt. Does not serve Mexico well!!! Sorry I have to be honest

Definitely recommend this place if you re looking to have a girls night out with delicious margaritas and food. Their extensive selection of margaritas and tequilas has something for everyone s taste!!! Our server Ranesa made our experience wonderful and was very attentive.

Spectacular dinner experience!!. Drinks were crafted to perfection and apps were served hot and delicious. The heat of passion drink our amazing server Christian recommended stole the show. As well as their tacos that were juicy and filled to the rim unlike other places. Christian is the real deal and ensured we had a beautiful experience. Won t be long before we are back. Cant recommend this hidden gem enough!!!

Helia brought in an atmosphere that really exceeded our expectations. From her arrival to our table, to our departure; she was from head to toe to a pleasure to be helped from. The food was good too.

They have a couple vegetarian options to choose from for both appetizers and main. Their vegan taco with cauliflower was amazing! Crunchy! Mushroom tacos was flavourful. Surprisingly I was quite full by the end Vegetarian options: Cauliflower vegan taco, mushroom tacos and veg. flautas we re all great dishes

I came here with my friends on the weekend, and we all had an exceptional time. Christian played a big part in ensuring we got the best drinks and food. We did miss their happy hour which is a great deal. But I would say everything on their menu is affordable and big portion. We shared a couple appetizers and by the time it was time for the main I could barely finish it. But of course you can never skip dessert we got both their tres leches and churros as he recommended and it was absolutely the best way to end the night. Thank you Christian and anejo you will definitely see us soon!!!

Excellent service with lots of options and very reasonably priced

Don t bother, worst tacos in Toronto, bad service, overprice but the worst is when after 2 hrs when you haven t finish eating yet they invite you to leave in a rude way. We paid $2,000 bill for 6 people and basically kick us out. Never will come back

This is my go to Mexican restaurant now, its a fun atmosphere l love the decor, good food and drinks menu. Perfect for groups.

We booked the private room and had exceptional service from our server Fasasha and the restaurant manager Kat! They went above and beyond to make sure we had the perfect evening! The service was excellent and they were incredibly accommodating! We are already thinking about hosting our next event there!

We celebrated a 75th birthday with 30 guests, in the private room and it was perfect! Working with Tennille was very easeful and efficient during the organizing process. Michael, our server for the evening was efficient, friendly and cheerful. We did the Ameca seated dinner option, which included appetizers, sides, and protein dishes, and everything was delicious. The margaritas were super yummy! Vegetarian options: Vegetarian options are available and are delicious. Dietary restrictions: All accommodations were made for gluten free and peanut and tree nuts allergies. Parking: Lots of free parking at Shops at Don Mills. Kid-friendliness: A highchair was available.

We are a group of 20 people attended the celebration. We avail of the happy hour menu. It was the Birthday celebrations of my daughter-in-law. We ordered beef tacos, fish tacos & pork tacos. Appetizer, Margaritas, & Corona beers. Food and atmosphere was very good. Service was EXCELLENT!!. I would like to give a shout to GAVIN for his excellent customer service!! Hoping the management or immediate superior will give him AN EXCELLENT PERFORMANCE RATING, and corresponding fair benefits.

We had a private event and the food and service were fantastic!

Today at 2:45pm, on November 25th 2024, I tried making a reservation for 11 ppl. I was then put on hold and the phone disconnected. I called back 5 times and no one answered. And the reason I called instead of making a reservation on Open Table is because my party was too large to accept so I had to speak with a restaurant representative Not cool!!!

We reached out to Añejo for a special work gathering for our team and the Añejo team went above and beyond to ensure everything was ready and going to work smoothly with their AV system in the downstairs room. We appreciated their care and service so much. Special shout outs to Kat for troubleshooting, having back up plans and ultimately ensuring that our evening would go as planned no matter what! And shout out to Fasasha who was such a kind, friendly and courteous server who made our time so enjoyable. Thank you!

Great atmosphere and service. Although labelled as a Mexican restaurant, some of the flavours are not quite Mexican. For example, we had the molcajete. The sausage was not chorizo. We have had much authentic and tastier molcajetes elsewhere. Food

This is a nice meet up spot for after work or catching up with friends. This nice Mexican restaurant is in the Shops on Don Mills and we sat on the patio which has giant windows for a good view. The atmosphere was vibrant, great music selection, and people having lively conversation. You can watched people hanging out on the benches in the park, or shopping, thus giving a nice view as you eat. All the staff delivered excellent customer service. The food didn t knock my socks off though, Which was disappointing compared to my last visit. I m sure if I had couple shots I would not have noticed. The table side guacamole was just meh as the avocado was way too watery and lacked colour. I know they didn t grow the avocado but it was too watery and didn t have much taste. Even the jalapeño tasted like green peppers. Luckily, the tortilla chips were fresh and made just right. I enjoyed that. The crispy fish taco was just that, crispy on the outside and juicy on inside. Use the sauces provided to get that extra umph. The pulled chicken taco was done right. Ask for quesadillas because it s not listed on menu, but they served it to us and even put pulled chicken on it ( at our request) for our little picky eater. The chicken taco was pulled/shredded meat too. A little spicy, but hey, it s la comida Mexicana! You can order speciality taco available if you would like. I would ve given a higher rating if I was very satisfied after dining. Vegetarian options: There s many veggie options. Look for mushroom flautas which is made with wild mushrooms and tastes great. The spicy mayo sauce is vegan. Check out the menu for other options too Parking: There are lots of parking in a multilevel parking garage, open parking lot, and street side parking Kid-friendliness: We did dine with child. quesadilla was offered as a dining option for her ( though it went listed on the menu).

Terrible excuse for Mexican food the shrimp rancheros tasted as if they put Tostitos sauce on the shrimp. Terrible service as well

Great service going to atmosphere good place to be if youre in the Don Mills area. Tacos are quite good so are the guac n chips made table side. Going to tell you the drinks were expertly poured and mixed.

My friends and I enjoyed a fantastic meal here last night. Table side guacamole was unbelievable! I ordered the Quesabirria and it was the best I ve had. All paired with a couple mango margaritas, delicious! Staff was extremely nice and checked in often! My new go to spot. I Will be back to try everything on the menu :) Dietary restrictions: The staff was very competent with asking about dietary restrictions. Options for different tortillas (corn or flour) as well as accommodating my order for allergies!

Food was excellent. Tableside guacamole is a must try. Reason for 1 star is the pathetic service from our server. Our server initially mentioned that the flight would be half-price, but didn t clarify the size options or associated costs. When we received our bill, we were surprised to find that we d been charged for the 3oz option at half-price ($27). I pointed out that we hadn t been informed about the option to choose between 1.5oz or 3oz, and that our drinks seemed to only contain 1.5oz, as they filled half the shot glasses. However, rather than acknowledging the oversight, the server insisted it must have been a miscommunication and stood by the 3oz charge. It felt like an unnecessary hassle and a bit misleading. If you re planning to go for happy hour, be wary pricing clarity and communication were definitely lacking in my experience.

I recently visited this location during happy hour and I can say that this is one of my favourite experiences yet! I don t have much of a raging crave over anejos but this time was different. Brian was my server for today and he lightened up our night! He gave us our drinks and our tacos whilst cracking up little jokes here and there and whenever we wanted to order more he was ontop of it! I heard many complaints about this location over on tik tok but I don t see what they re saying! Food was great, music was amazing, our server Brian was excellent and the vibe was just A1! Definitely a 10/10 Would recommend for you and your friends!

Great mexican restaurant in the shops. The ambiance is really nice and lots of light. Seats are spacious and not packed; we easily fit a stroller. The service was also great, responsive, very nice, and they applied the happy hour discount eventhough we ordered 30 min before (this was nice gesture). In terms of food. The flavors are authentic. We tried the house salsa tasting (typical to what you have at home) and the ribs (amazing!! Slow cooked and full with flavor). We tried the fish, beef, pork, chicken tacos (average and a little bit dry), the shrimp tacos which was generous and delicious and the birria tacos (little bit dry but the dipping broth was amazing). We were looking forward to the desert, and it was not as good as youd expect. The draft beer is very good! In general, the flavors were delicious but I wouldnt say the best mexican food Ive had.

Anejo has some of the best Margaritas Ive ever had. Staff is incredibly friendly too! Only thing I would say is that portion sizes for the appetizers can seem a bit small when going in a large group, so be sure to order a few if youre hungry. Churros were also piping hot and DELICIOUS!

Easy one star. Our server vanished after we placed our order, and after about 30 minutes, we noticed that all the customers who arrived after us had received their food. Eventually, a different asian server(she dress differently I guess shes the manager), came by and asked if we needed anything. We informed her that we still hadnt got our food. When she asked what we had ordered, I attempted to check the menu, but she brushed it off, saying, Its okay, I will check the kitchen. After a few minutes, she returned with 6 tacos and a shrimp entrée, even though we had only ordered 4 tacos. She then brought the menu and inquired about what we ordered. When I pointed to the items, she rolled her eyes and told us she will check the kitchen again and walked away. My wife was shocked and asked me, Did she just roll her eyes? A few minutes later, she finally returned with the right tacos, explaining that the previous 6 tacos belonged to another table. After a few bites, everything was cold, clearly the food had been sitting in the kitchen for far too long. The entire time, our original server was inattentive and only came back to engage with us when it was time for the bill.

This is our place for happy hour drinks and tacos. The tacos are decent. Fish is the best hands down. The beef and chicken are on the drier side. If you add sauces they give you at the table, it works. Margaritas are delicious! Try the blood orange and guava.

I came in with some friends for the nighttime happy hour, and I had the pleasure of being served by Brian. Could easily tell he cared about me and my friend s añejo experience, he made sure our food/drinks came on time, and checked up on us throughout the night. The passion heat paloma was incredible, as well as the cake desert. I will say the tacos were a little dry, but that didnt take away from our experience at all! Will be coming back soon!

Whenever I think of Añejo, I think of Happy Hour tacos. They have delicious assortments of Tacos and if you go during happy hour, they are so cheap! I also tried their guacamole and chips that they prepare in front of you and its so tasty! The setting is very loud and vibrant and its a fun spot to go to with friends or family! Would recommend for sure.

The menu is correct, they have many variations and very traditional Mexican dishes, but the dishes have a lot of cumin, they should change the chef for someone who has Mexican flavor, in general the place is nice.

The food was good and the drinks were made pretty well. The service was very slow and strange though. It felt like everyone was on their first day of the job. Nice atmosphere too.

Our server Dave was personable and on top of his game. He is very creative and attentive. The food was alright. I didnt particularly enjoy the beef taco it didnt have much flavor. The fish tacos were alright. The liquor drinks were amazing.

Absolutely love eating here. The service is always amazing and the food is spectacular. especially love the guacamole and also the mussels. Dave was our server today and he did a fantastic job! He was attentive, friendly and funny as well! Will continue to come here as often as we can! Their guava margaritas are one of the best in the city!

Really great cocktails, the margaritas are awesome and theres a lot of variety. Food is good when its done right but inconsistent, last time there was no cheese on the birria tacos even though its supposed to be included which was disappointing considering the premium price Service is just ok

We live just a kilometre away from your restaurant and frequently visit the various stores at Shops at Don Mills. We always walk right by Anejo but have never ventured inside. No more! We were greeted and led to our table which overlooked the beautifully lit Christmas Tree and our server, Dave, came and introduced himself. He was very friendly and informative and when we didn t really know what to order from the menu, he made some suggestions based on our tastes that he had tried himself ( you should have him sample every dish on the menu he s a natural born salesman). Following the house salsa intro, Maureen chose the scallops and I had the camerones dish. Both choices were brilliant and we were frankly surprised at just how delicious the food was and Dave was genuinely overjoyed that we were so happy with our experience at Anejo. We ll certainly be back. 10 out of 10.
