Very bad

Great food. I had a bad egg club and a pink chai. The staff was very friendly and approachable.

I brought my friend to bad egg on a Sunday night at 5:30pm, the staff refused to serve us food because they had already closed the kitchen, 30 minutes before the closing time. I was very disappointed because I was excited for my friend to try the food as it has been good every time I have been. I think it s unacceptable to close the kitchen and refuse service that long before closing time.

I came to try the breakfast here. It wasnt bad, I would like to try the other things on the menu.

Food was tasty and prepared by friendly staff.

Was looking for some quick breakfast in the area and I came across this place. Quick service, great value (I got the Cheeky BLT), the sandwich was substantial, and because I asked about the sauce the friendly woman at the counter gave me a small container with some extra sauce without me even asking. Will be coming here again and again!

I live near the Garden District, but I finally got the chance to visit, and let me tell you the service was absolutely amazing. Coming from a culture where people serve with warmth and a smile, it s heartwarming to experience that same kind of hospitality here. It s that genuine care and friendliness that make you want to come back. The entire experience was fabulous, but special shout-out to Rhea and Arti their exceptional service made the visit unforgettable. While the food was great, it s truly the people that elevate this place. As for the food, I highly recommend the Tempura Cauliflower and the Peri Peri Chicken Burger both were delicious and well worth trying! This restaurant has quickly moved to the top of my favorites list, and I ll definitely be back. Kudos to the team keep the good people, they make all the difference!

I recently visited Bad Egg and had the Cluck N Roll Boo Chicken it was absolutely amazing! The chicken was packed with flavor, perfectly cooked, and had just the right amount of spice. Definitely a must-try! The service was equally impressive, with Kshitija providing warm and attentive hospitality, making the experience even better. New quirky place in an area that has very food restaurants. Interesting menu, good flavors and great staff.

I rarely give 5 but this new place was great. I needed some food items explained and I was given detailed descriptiontons. I had a seafood bao with grilled shrimp. They made mine to order skipping the hot sauce. I was thrilled with the outcome. We were about to leave when a pleasant young man came to ask how we enjoyed our meal. Ww told him it was fabulous. We wupere given a lovely mango ice with fruit and pistachio. That was divine.

Bad Egg is a beautiful place to stop along Richmond, the restaurant is clean, well decorated and the staff has been amazing every time I ve come in. I order the Korean Poutine (beef), which is crispy fries topped with cheese curds, spicy Korean sauce, smashed beef strips and (my favourite) the signature Bad Egg sauce. The staff are always happy to modify the order a little at my request. Amazing place to drop in!

I came for breakfast I tried avocado toast it was really good taste and really well cooked sunny side eggs and they have smoothies and tea coffee and other food options and fair prices in downtown

Bad egg is appropriately named because the eggs are not great. We got two egg sandwhichs from here, i was expecting Korean style egg sandwhichs like egg club but what I got was hybrid of Indian style omelette with Korean sauce and regular grocery store bread. There is a place for Indian style omelette but it is definitely not with Korea style sauce, terrible combination. The sandwhich is also loaded upto to a point that it was impossible to eat.

I ordered This beautiful looking chicken kimchi bowl and it was terrible. The rice was not cook properly it was disgusting. I threw it away and just wasted money for this. Food : 1/5

Bag egg is one of the best finds while exploring Toronto city. We were looking for place to grab a quick bite but this place took us by surprise with their service and food. The Bag eeg scramlette and Cheeky BLT were absolutely mind blowing. This place is a must try and we will definitely go back to try other things on their menu. I have to add that the staff are absolutely lovely and were very warm and friendly.

Coffee is cheap and decent. Food is amazing for the price. I tried the fried chicken & egg sandwich and enjoyed every single bite. Defintiely recommended.

This restaurant appears to be confused about what cuisine it is serving. Fusion done well is amazing, unfortunately this isnt, and came out just kind of mediocre. Not terrible, but probably wouldnt order again. Bao tasted Greek (?!) and texture wasnt right, burger was pretty underwhelming for a $15 burger, decent fries and pickle chips

Was not what I thought it was going to be when we first walked in and didn t know what to expect but so very glad we stayed! New place to eat in the 6ix with great food and SUPER FRIENDLY service! Had the Korean fried chicken sandwich with fries, hubby had the chicken tacos and my sister had the shrimp egg drop sammy. Everything was made fresh while we waited and was so lip-smacking good ..sandwich was so high I couldn t get my mouth around it! This place is fantastic for delicious and healthy drinks, as well as breakfast, lunch, and dinner. I ordered the BAO BUNS and tried the Cluck n Roll Bao (Chicken) and the Bold Beef Ramen. Both dishes were really delicious, but I liked the chicken one the best. I highly recommend this place, especially because its new to the area and the staff is super friendly. I also had an amazing mongo smoothie from their Juice-to-go section. It was so tasty!

I came to BadEgg with our friends all the way from Brantford for brunch. I must say loved the food and vibe. The staff was very friendly and the manager was himself there and suggested us some yummy dishes. We will be coming back for sure. Korean Firely Burger to the win

I recently dined at Bad egg, and I must say, it was an exceptional experience from start to finish. The ambiance was warm and inviting, creating the perfect setting for a delightful meal. Awful customer service. Just terrible attitude. After a long wait time, My Order was poorly made with an inch thick end piece of an onion, and a very thick tomato end-Cap in the sandwich wish I had taken a picture. it was gross to see, let alone eat. When I asked if these 2 pieces of vegetables could be replaced, I was met with lots of attitude and none compliance. What could have been a simple easy fix, turned into an unnecessary dispute. Frustrated, I asked for my money back, but they refused to do that either!!! Just horrible customer service. I Wouldn t go back. Neither should you . Customers should be treated with respect and dignity. I was there for over 40 mins trying to have lunch. scrambling trying to get the order I paid for. The Horrible attitude. And terrible customer service I will be sure to share my experience with everyone in these buildings. This is a small community and we reject this kind of attitude and behaviour.

Amazing place for a quick cheap breakfast, brunch or lunch. Friendly staff and seriously good, fresh food. My second time back and the staff are just as friendly as ever. Convenient location for my work and home, and I can get something small but filling for 7 bucks, easy. Really smart business, really good product, really kind staff. Good for eat in or take out. For the adventurous in breakfast options! Spent a total of $30 for 2 people, including drinks, an app and mains. Go to this place while its young and you can easily get a seat!

I stopped by this place on a whim, and I m so glad I did! The tacos were absolutely delicious fresh, flavorful, and perfectly seasoned. The tortillas were soft and warm, holding together a generous portion of filling. I will definitely come back

Tried the bao and it was oddly flavored, no Asian flavors to speak of. The sauce was overly spicy and there was way too much sauce for the tiny bit of chicken in the bun. The bun was too firm and obviously mass produced. Perhaps their other items are better, but I won t bother trying again.

Coffee was quite bad but the food was very good and the place had a great atmosphere.

Stumbled in here needing lunch and a place to work and what a solid find! The staff was insanely nice and proud of their food. I had the Seoul chicken rice bowl with tempura caulliflower and it was honestly a 9/10. The chicken in the bowl was packed with flavour and was the perfect consistency. I will 100% be back.

The experience at Bad Egg was beyond awful. The taco I ordered wasn t just cold it was practically frozen and tasted like it had been left out for days. It was the most disgusting excuse for a taco Ive ever encountered. This place is a complete disaster, and I ll never set foot in here again.

Visited this place last week. Pleasantly surprised with Asian fusion selections on the menu. Tried a couple of items and none disappointed . Definitely warrants a second visit to try other dishes. Had loaded fries they were exceptional, packed with flavor and texture. Also tried their shrimp ramen which was, savory with perfectly cooked noodles. If you re in the mood for innovative Asian fusion cuisine, this is the place to go! Ok my way out I was offered spring rolls to go. Had them at home and they were crispy spicy and delicious. I went there with my family and friends to try this new restaurant. The food , environment and service were amazing. We ate poutine which had some unique sauce (very tasty), Tempura cauliflower and burger were also very fresh and well balanced flavours. We loved this place and recommend everyone to try.

Ordered the Avocado Toast, it was very disappointing. Just one slice of toast which had hard avocado (not ripe). The service was slow, took multiple staff members to prepare the order. Would not return or recommend.

It was the worst place for breakfast. We can not tolerate too much spice, but they put way too much spicy sause, losing the original taste of the ingredients. Its not a sandwich they promise, its a porridge they serve. A poor description provided by the owner of this place, waisted my time.

Over staffed every time I have been there. Food takes long also. Took 3 people to make a coffee. I understand there is a learning curve but does not appear people are moving with purpose - particularly when this is a breakfast spot.

My first experience at Bad Egg was great 5/5. I had kimchi dumplings and beef patty burger. My second time trying the food is not so great the food is burnt also the kimchi dumpling came with lots of kimchi and lots of red Korean sauce but this time had nothing disappointed. Too lazy to go down again and complain.

One of the best places in Downtown Toronto to have your breakfast! 100% recommendation, loved the avocado toast with chicken. The smoothie place, juice to go, also serves organically fresh smoothies. Will be a regular here, that s for sure.

Food is really good and staff really friendly. I m trying all in the menu one by one as I work near by. Easy to get to. Only thing I wish they have in the menu are options on spiciness level. Some of their stuff are really spicy n it doesn t indicate on the menu. A little warning would be nice. Otherwise a good place for food.

Delicious food and affordable prices

Was really excited to try BadEgg, but was extremely disappointed. Ordered the Korean Poutine, Slim Sammy, and the Unholy Guacomoly. Overall the food was cold, yet overcooked. The salami was burnt, the cheese was cold and so was the toasted bread. It was as if the bread was toasted before opening and was slapped together with the rest of the food. I wouldve preferred to have bought food out of a vending machine. Not only was the food inedible they also got our order wrong and seemed confused and unaware of what they were serving. An absolute waste of money and time, considering it took well over 20 minutes to serve us ontop of having to remake the food because they didnt know what they were serving.

I am over in Toronto from the Uk and I have been to Bag Egg two days in a row. The staff are amazing, welcoming and friendly. The service was quick, and the food was delicious and fresh! Highly recommend and will be returning next month!

The food was really good and the workers were kind and attentive. MY girlfriend and I had the Bad Egg Classic, Cheeky BLT, and Korean Poutine. Husband and I went for lunch today after a long bike ride this morning and we re not in the mood to cook so knowing this place been opened for a little while and I ve studied their menu, we decided to give it a try. It s an interesting layout as once you stepped inside, a juicy stand is right in front of you and Bad Egg is slightly on the right with seatings available but it s more like a fast food joint. We were greeted by the friendly staff and were asked if we need any assistance on the menu. We browsed a little and decided what we were going to have. I ve tried the fried chicken burger and hubby had the Korean Chicken Ramen. It took about 10-15 minutes but boy oh boy, we were certainly pleased with the food. My friend chicken was a piece of crispy fried white meat with plenty of onions, shredded lettuce, slice of cheese, and very yummy sauce, which is a little bit spicy. All were sandwiched between a soft brioche bun. Hubby s Korean Chicken Ramen was quite something. He liked it and said it had a REAL kick with kimchi and 2 halved hard boiled egg. Honestly you would doubt who s in the kitchen cooking because of the background of the staffs, you wouldn t imagine the Korean food would be THAT good. We live close by so I ll have today I m pleased we find a good go to place for a quick bite!

The staff are incredibly sweet and nice. I got the shrimp bao and it was really good, however I wish there were more slaw or other veggies. The sauces were great but it was pretty much only shrimps, sauce and bao bun.

Bread was very dry and very stale. Most likely old. Not likely to come back

I went for a egg sandwich and ordered the bad egg scramlette. Enjoyed the breakfast sammy and found it very filling. The bread was thick cut and the scrambled egg was fluffy.

I got the Korean poutine and was excited to try it. I chose the chicken as protein. It was their new opening so a little bit of a wait was expected, and we waited around 20 min. The food looked good but when I actually tried it, the sauce was so spicy I was actually tearing up within the first bite (and I have a pretty good spice tolerance). The whole thing was smothered and layered with sauce, which I usually wouldn t mind, but it made the whole thing inedible. I got around 3 small pieces of chicken, which tasted good. The service was friendly, and I might other food items, but my coworkers who all got something different weren t able to finish their meal if any of them had the sauce on it.

Bad Egg brings to mind the delightful egg sandwich cafés of South Korea, while tailoring them to North American tastes. Im particularly pleased that they dont add sugar to their bread. However, unlike my experiences in Korea, the service here was quite slow. While this is understandable for a newly opened spot, its important for the staff to remember that breakfast is a time when customers often need to grab their food quickly and head to work - also not having the coffee ready in the morning can be a serious turn off for some. I ordered the Bad Egg Scramlette which was scrumptious, and had delicious sauce! (I only wish that the sauce be also put in the sandwich instead of just on top). We also got fries which unfortunately came out undercooked and cold. The chai was delicious and I would recommend it as a must get item. Overall, my visit was satisfactory, but I see a lot of potential for improvement once the staff starts getting into the swing of things. Looking forward to my next visit!

Had the shrimp sandwich at BadEgg, and it was absolutely delicious! The shrimp was perfectly cooked tender and juicy with just the right amount of seasoning. The toasted bun ,succulent shrimp and their signature sauce made each bite a delightful experience. Highly recommended.
