125 Wellington St W, Toronto, ON M5J 0E8, Canada
We are a restaurant bringing culinary delights to humans of all ages and dietary needs, alongside an endless stream of craft beer since 2012.
We were pleasantly greeted by the nice atmosphere. Of course, heading there for lunch during this season promises to be really busy. There were tons of other people there but we were seated relatively quickly (thanks Open Table). Once seated, it took a while to get the initial round of drinks. We had waters all around then they took our orders. The server was okay. He wasn't super helpful with making decisions about what to get. He didn't come to check on us after we got our food. He didn't ask if we wanted anything else or a water refill. That said, it was super busy. The food was okay AT BEST. We had the turkey burger, fried chicken, big burger and one of the vegan salads. The vegan salad was great but the rest were not very good. The burger was bread heavy - way too much bread. The burger had a smash burger vibe but I couldn't appreciate it much because there was not enough sauce. Suggestion: - more burger sauce, - choose better bread (brioche), - fried chicken was a bit over and not moist - the turkey burger was also bready
Always a great time here… the food.. the atmosphere, the people! Hostess was great, our waiter was ok too. The food was amazing and even our friends who were there for the first time— loved their food. It was our third time at this location. The menu here is smaller it seems, than the one in East Gwillimbury.. but great nonetheless!
We went here for a Monday night dinner. Fried chicken might be the best dish here. Changed it up and tried the pad thai with shrimp. It was good. Mac and cheese with decent sized chicken was good. My friend said the brisket was good. Breading the calamari tasted alright. As people said, great selection of beer. Our server was great too - checked up on us frequently and kept our drinks going.
Beer Town in downtown Toronto offers an amazing dining experience. The fish tacos were exceptional—fresh, flavorful, and perfectly seasoned. The service was quick and attentive, making the visit even more enjoyable. The impressive variety of beers, with options ranging from local craft brews to international favorites, adds to the charm, ensuring there’s something for every beer enthusiast. A great spot for delicious food, excellent service, and a fantastic beer selection. Definitely worth a visit!
Fun atmosphere with a great staff. They have a very impressive selection of beers. Unfortunately our group was not impressed with the food and found it mid. Brisket was tender but lacking flavor. Pretzels were to salty and that’s saying alot since you would expect them to be salty. They do have a vegetarian and gluten free menu to try as well. If you're looking for something simple this menu will accommodate but for something to tantalize your taste buds try the Moxies across the street.
The bar was enjoyable, the waitress was very attentive and polite, but the brisket did not taste good, the calamari was average, the fries were good, the beer was refreshing, but the glass was not full.
I visited this place recently on my birthday and was surprised why I hadn’t come here sooner. I have heard such great things about this place and wasn’t disappointed at all. The vibe was great. I was tempted to try their Strawberry beet which was very refreshing. Loved their wonton nachos. The staff was very nice to offer a cute birthday dessert. I would definitely visit more frequently now to try all their things 🤩
Came to this location for my buddies birthday, was about 14 of us, and the wait staff were just great. Great food, great staff, great atmosphere. Got the spinach dip, Calamari, public house nachos and Singapore Sub. All of which were great, also was able to try some craft beers from around Ontario some of them were good, some weren't my taste. Very impressed by the amount of food options they had, and the fact that they all tasted so great! The Singapore Sub was my favorite by far the flavours mixed with the Asian slaw and sauces were great. Will definitely need to come back to try more craft beers and food.
Food was good. Wait-staff was great. Pretzels could have been less salty though. Vegetarian options: Sweet potato wedges Pretzel with dip
Three of us ate here for lunch. The overall feeling from all 3 of us was that the food is very very average. For example, the sesame buns were tasteless and fell apart. The fries just arent good, seemed like theyd been overcooked and then sat out for a while. There was no potato to them, just greasy crunchy hard bits. Wed rather go somewhere else then to eat here again.
Great burgers and a nice selection of beers
Food was great. The brie burger might be one of the better burgers Ive had in a while. Salads were fantastic. Not just typical bar food. The beer selection was amazing. The server was great but the kitchen forgot our Poutine. Would give five stars if it wasnt for that.
Stop in for drink and to watch the Steelers game on Sunday the bartender was great she was nice and made sure I was all set. But know Iam watch the game so she knows when ask if I need something. I had blackberry cider Punch. Given a 4 star even thru I didnt get food. Service was good.
Great wings and fun atmosphere
Best beer tavern in the city good food amazing beers and its one of my best pre raptors bars in Toronto. Staff are friendly bartenders and servers. I would highly recommend it if you havent already! Vegetarian options: Tons of options for vegetarians from Burgers to pad thai Dietary restrictions: They accommodate most things ask a sever Kid-friendliness: Kids can eat with comfort here
Made reservations weeks ago & was given a table right near the door (on a cool night, was not the greatest) ...had chimichurri chicken sandwich, bun was stale, fries cold, small piece of chicken, mostly bun, service was good, once we finally got it, 2nd time here, have to say the 1st time 2 years ago was a much better experience
Amazing atmosphere, Joshua was amazing with all the recommendations of food and beer, will definitely come back
If you re looking to dine out and receive ZERO service, this is the place! Even after emailing the manager to express the disappointment in service, I have yet to get a response back. Wouldn t recommend this establishment to anyone. My four girlfriends and I went into the establishment on a Thursday night for some food. We were seated in the middle of the bar area in clear site. After waiting over 15 minutes to be served I looked behind me at the bar and the manager asked a server what was happening with our table. Several minutes later the manager came over and asked if we would like to order a drink. 3 of us had water and one pop. We let her know we were ready to order our food as well and she took the order and left. This was the one and only time anyone came to our table to ask if we needed anything. We ordered food which required condiments and all of us needed refills. When we were clearly all finished still no one came to the table to even ask if we needed our bills. Finally another server came to cash us out and not one word was spoken. The whole experience felt like ordering takeout that we sat and ate in the restaurant. Definitely will not be returning.
Best beer bar in Toronto, their prices arent hideous like the rest of Toronto.
Very disappointed withour meals last night my steak was good but the fries where stone cold the server said bring new ones out but never came The other two times we been there great experience but last night very disappointed Also sat us where there was a large girls party very loud and they rude
Good beers but poor food
Great place
Our local in Toronto, good beer loved the Pompous Ass and my good lady loved the sangria food was good along with excellent service
Had a great experience. The staff was great with a nice mood. Food was great. The atmosphere was great too. Enjoyed alot. Best place to have steak. Food : 5/5 |
Bad service, not even providing water! Automatically charge 20% tip on top of tax without letting me know. Is the tip supposed to be for good service? Not recommend !
The waiter said it is mandatory of 20% tips for a group over 8 people and it is the standard for all the restaurants here. (Ok?) We were here for a good one and half hour and the glass is always empty, no one ever asks if we need water or need anything. Maybe it was because they already got a mandatory 20% so they don t really care. The waitress is friendly and nice. But the guy is just pure rude, not impressed. And yes, he pressed 20% tips for all of us. They don t go rob the bank maybe because mandatory tips of 20% is more efficient.
Great spot for food and a few beers. The food was good, although the burger buns felt low quality and fell apart really easily. The kids meals were great - especially the fried chicken, which was massive! As youd expect, the choice of beers is massive - the Pompous Ass IPA, was the highlight. Food : 4/5
Cool vibe, chill atmosphere and an awesome beer list with lots of rotating taps and local brews.
Loud, but its great
Customer service was incredible! Brought my son to his first leaf game and stopped in before the game. The whole crew there made his day extremely memorable. The manager came out and gave him alittle present to go home with, which was unexpected. The food and atmosphere is great but the customer service was above and beyond! Thank you
Delicious food, great service...very busy and kind of noisy but overall a very good place to eat. Vegetarian options: Theres an entire plant-based menu
amazing choice of beer and food
They were so ready for Taylor Swift. So fun to hear her music and order from the themed menu.
This place is a gem! With an impressive array of food and beer, its a foodies paradise. But what truly sets it apart is the warm and welcoming staff. One staff member, in particular, went above and beyond, sharing stories about our shared Colombian and British backgrounds. I cant wait to come back to Toronto and revisit this delightful spot..
Great food, expensive but not tourist trap levels like some of the other eateries in the area. This was my second time going, and I will likely go again next time Im in the area.
Went in for a preprandial cocktail. Lovely, friendly service.
Great service and very good
Coming to Beertown Toronto was a very disappointing customer service encounter. One of our friends was feeling tired and had head down to which he was refused and asked to leave the place. Joshua and Jonathan forced us to exit the premises just because our friend was nauseous. I recommend to come here only for tacos and not at all expect any good customer service. Think a few times prior visiting for a good vibe.
I enjoyed my meal there. The music is a tad loud, which is a thing in restaurants these days. You need be close to your eating mate, to hear them. I highly recommend the pork belly sliders. As a nice appetizer, three small burgers that are out of this world.... Food
Had a wonderful time there.very delicious food and beer. Had their German beer and the strawberry beer. Spinach Deep and burgers were tasty.great atmosphere.good accessablity if you have no car
Date night with my wife. Going to Roy Thompson, threater. Popped into Beer town for a quick bite. Had one hour before the show. Beer town did not disappoint. Management haley was so helpful in pushing our order through. The food was amazing, fresh and fast service thanks to our server trinity. Atmosphere great. Beer was fantastic. Just wanted to share my experience.
Appreciate the separate vegan/plant-based menu! Including dedicated desserts. I had the impossible burger and it was delish!
Nothing special, it is good to hang out place. Service is good. Varieties of beer can be tasted.
Food was good. A good variety of beer. This is our go to beer place now
Ive been here a dozen times. Food and service are always great and on the ball. The server and manager were superb.
Food was great. Our server, Maddie, was awesome - so kind, funny and great her job. Loved it
Great plant-base options!
LOVE this place! 2 amazing ciders on tap and a separate menu for gluten free and vegan. Fries were cooked in the same fryer but they have other options if coeliac. Had an amazing gf bun turkey burger. Service was fantastic and vibey.
The food is good and the portions are too. Great selection of beers. The brown bag surprise is so much fun! If youre an open-minded beer drinker I recommend it!
Good burgers and good beer, couldnt ask for more.
I was there Saturday September 7th around 8:30PM sitting at the bar with two other girls. We came in for a quick snack and a drink. The male bartender serving us was lovely, kind and very helpful. But our visit was abruptly ruined by a female bartender with dark hair, bangs and she had two braids. She was EXTREMELY rude to use. I kindly asked for side plates and napkins after she delivered our food and did not pre set us or offer us plates after she brought the food we said we were sharing (fyi myself and my friends sitting with me at during this visit are all servers and bartenders). She came back over slammed the side plates on the bar. I said we did not need cutlery so she could save the roll ups. Then she rolled her eyes and stormed away. She ruined my entire experience due to her very bad attitude. She should not work in customer service. The short interaction we had with her ruined our entire experience. I never leave reviews and that is how unkind abs unfriendly she is.
Great spot for an after work beer or a pre Maple Leafs drink.. or 10!
A huge menu selection for beers. The food is so delicious and the service was fantastic. I must say one of the best beer bars in the city.
Great experience at Beertown Toronto. Turkey burger was amazing. Met the manager Sunny and he was delightful. Will be back soon.
Had the most amazing time at Beertown Toronto. Sunny was so kind and made sure that everything was perfect! Will 100% be back. Can t recommend this place enough!
Great Place!!
Brisket nachos were fire. Sunny was a huge help too!
Had an incredible experience at Beertown Toronto. Thank you to the incredible manager, Sunny!
Sunny was an absolute delight!! made our evening special every step of the way.
Thank you so much to Sunny you will be missed! All his help, knowledge and support over the past month have outstanding
Tho i wouldnt recommend the Steak, i an very grateful to this place. Good food, drinks, staff. Toronto hospitality at its finest
Great place for beer. Bathrooms were pretty gross, they need to do a better job cleaning them regularly. At a place called Beertown people use the bathroom often.
Went here before a concert. Great drinks, food, and vibes
It s busy and crowded most of the time. Food options are limited. You might need to wait for a table unless booking is made earlier
sat at the bar by myself. my preferred amount of service - I was left alone, except when I looked up and made eye contact, at which point someone instantly came over. Service and atmosphere - 5 stars, no notes. brisket and potato salad were a little too salty by the sliverest of margins, but otherwise very good.
Dropped in for a spot of lunch and a beer and mocktail. Beer/drinks were good and calamari was very nice . Wheelchair accessibility: Yes, no problems
Second Beertown Ive been to and even better than the one in Waterloo! Dont let the name fool you, this place has a great beer menu, wonderful servers and delicious food. Had a refreshing lager and the Yucatan Bowl before a live event at Scotiabank Arena. It was exactly what I needed. It was busy, but service didnt drop off at all. Would eat here again and again!
Fun atmosphere, good food, good service, and WOW what a huge beer selection! Definitely recommend the beer flights so you can try more than one. And the pretzels are amazing!
Came to Toronto for a Jays game. Walked away from Union Station and stopped randomly at this place. Food was awesome, friendly waitress, and Gluten free options too. Win
Visited this restaurant while in town and really enjoyed it. The food was very good. Service was a tad lacking but overall we had a nice meal and will return the next time we visit Toronto
Not unlike all other beer town restaurants. Rotating taps were largely disappointing. All but three were sours. No traditional IPAs or double IPAs (although there are some options on the standard taps). Food was great. Mac N Cheese is excellent, Turkey burger was well Recieved and both the kids fried chicken and steak proved to be large portions for the little people in our company.
Great food and great service! We had the kale + blueberry salad with chicken which was delicious. I have a tree nut allergy so had to go without pecans but they had no issue accommodating. My mom had the steak + blue salad which was amazing as well. Even though the place was busy we only waited maybe 2 minutes for a table at most. Would highly recommend visiting.
Upscale pub food, good option for the area. Food was decent, the poutine was very smokey, not personally my thing, but the pretzel sticks and nachos were great. We had friendly staff and great service for a large group of 15!
If I could give a zero star I would. I made sure to write this review right after I left this location immediately so I get the review right. When everyone who isnt colored was ordering, no one checked how many beers they had. The moment a black guy did another waiter who never served us showed up (when the black guy ordered) and said we have a limit on how many beers one can have. So if youre Caucasian, go ahead and visit. But if you arent, please find somewhere else as you will not be embarrassed, and talked down on. After having a beer with my colleagues, I was told I cant order new drinks for my friend (like duh its my money), when I asked why (maybe there is a new rule I am unware of) he said, I know how much you drank and we wont serve more drinks. I am an advocate for stopping new drinks for inebriated clients. I literally saw another table order fresh 3rd drink in front of me. When approached the waiter lied. I am happy I only ordered one drink and that will be my last in any beer town bar. As someone whos parent was an alcoholic, I am very careful about this. Imagine trying to buy your friends drink and being told no, and not for a good reason but because the waiter assumed you drank too much because you are having a banter with your friends. Racist waiters arent the way to get customers.
I have never been talked to condescendingly. The waiter was rude, and obnoxious. I thought maybe he had a bad day so I went back to him and asked what was wrong, he couldnt care less. I get it, you dont own the place and I wish I pressed harder to get his name so I can add it here, but I can recognize him anywhere. He worked the shift for 4pm till 8pm on Tuesday July 30, before Beertown management say they dont have any employee like that. People of colour deserve equal treatment. And before you say dont pull the race card, I am available to walk in and point out who said what and to whom. I recorded most of the conversation minus the background noise. It was an appalling service. I have never been disrespected like this in all my years living in the UK. The 1 star isnt just for the service I received, but for the company to have a better hiring practice. And I was with a bunch of introverts who simply walked out after being disrespected. Maybe we should have caused a scene,
Beer selection was great. Service was good. Food could have been better. Had a chicken sandwich.
amazing place, good food, cold beer
Came in to order some food to go and the man who took care of us (possibly the manager?) was incredibly kind and charged us out while letting us eat at a table. Very attentive and sweet despite us not doing in traditionally. The poutine and burger were incredible!
Great place to go before a concert!!
I ordered Korean BBQ wings. I didnt really like the flavour, although I finished them :) The waiter was a bit hard to understand. Food : 3/5
Tonight, we hit the jackpot. The staff were super friendly, quick to fill, and refill our glasses, and everyone had a smile. Beertown always has good food and great beer but can get a little overwhelmed as its very popular. Tonight, everything was perfect.
Company trip to Beertown in Toronto! The service was super friendly. We had a group of 30 and it had the potential to be chaotic, but Beertown staff took the challenge and rocked it!! Dietary restrictions: Celiac
Nice location, atmosphere was nice also
The blueberries salad with steak is very yummy! Switched the goat cheese to Parmesan
Do NOT order the steak sandwich! It was basically a slab of grizzle. Inedible.
Had the southern fried chicken, it was really good. Loved the sauces.
It was simply GREAT Went there after a show and my oh my! Great service, soooo much choices of beers, and PLEASE order the wonton nachos... It was uuuuuunbelievable! Food : 5/5
Had the proper poutine with brisket
Good evening everyone, I came to Toronto to go see the Blue Jays and then my partner and I stopped here, we said to ourselves, this seems like an interesting and fun place and at the same time we wanted to eat. We sit at the bar, a young boy at the back of the bar asks us what we want to drink. We tell him that we want a bottle of merlot, a red wine. Bottle with twist cap. He arrives with the bottle, places it on the counter, without opening it with 2 empty glasses of wine. Normally, we have to open the bottle and have the customer taste the wine. No service. he went to chat with people outside the bar, I asked him to come see me when he came back to the back of the bar, I was ignored and waved at me with his hand arrogantly, wait your turn. My partner and I left and his colleague, really no service and we left The incompetent, young boy, dark hair, no good manners to deal with customers for the good of your business. Visie took place on June 29 around 7:30 p.m.
Service was a bit slow, but the server was pleasant. Good food and great selection of beer
Never again. I would give 0 star if I could. Terrible service. Terrible environment. As a server I understand how a busy restaurant environment works and I can say, absolutely horrible service.
Stopped in here for lunch while visiting the city. We had the pretzels and cheese dip to start which were delicious. For the main, we had the hot chicken sandwiches which were pretty good. We wanted to try the Blue Bird sandwich, but they were unavailable. But the highlight of the meal was honestly the drink. We had the Farmhouse Limeades which were the best! We would for sure return and maybe try to get something different as a main.
Nice environment. Food was pretty good and decent value. We especially loved food for different diets like vegan, vegetarian, and gluten-free. Extensive beer list, as expected. But the service was rough. Staff was nice enough, but seemed disorganized and confused, even though it wasnt that busy during a fairly popular time. Everything took much longer than it shouldve. Confusion where to sit us (with tons of empty tables), then getting service (no one knew they were assigned, and as such everyone ignored us until we went back to the hostess stand to ask for someone after a very long time), then another long wait for food to come out or even just getting drink refills, and finally getting the bill. It was especially odd as there seemed to be no shortage of staff, but most seemed to be a wondering around like they didnt know what to do or were wondering around with someone else (and didntappear to be training). I might be willing to visit again, but only with a lot of extra time.
A very nice place with excellent and delicious food... I hope to come again and enjoy the view and the taste...
Good food with generous portions, plenty of vegan options, and of course a wide selection of brews. Knowledgeable staff was helpful, and they have longer hours. Comfortable, casual atmosphere and a homey feel.
Amazing food and service. The bartender, Erin, recommended food and drinks. She was very pleasant and attentive. Its definitely worth a stop. The restaurant was very busy but clean and efficiently ran by the staff and management. We will be back, probably before we leave, and come again when we visit Toronto next year.
We ordered brisket, portions were good. The beans were a bit too salty. The potato salad wasn t that good, but it can be changed for fries which were good the coleslaw was good. They play sports on TVs, but they don t play the sound of the sports, it s only random songs.
Love beertown as they have a good amount of gluten free options Dietary restrictions: Good gluten free options Food : 4/5 |
I cant speak for the food, but after visiting here several times, they have an awesome selection of over 40 beers on tap and constantly rotating brews weekly. You will find every style of beer to suit what you enjoy. I highly recommend this place.
Devon &.Danelle are #1
Excellent service and atmosphere And the delicious food
Great selection of beer on draft, they have something for everyone to enjoy.
Nice spot to go on a Saturday night. Very good beer selection with rotating tabs. Lots of TVs if you want to watch the game and very clean.
Nice sports bar great friendly service. Tasty food
Awesome place with an impressive range of menu items including an extensive gluten free menu. Devin was very knowledgeable of the menu items and provided great service!
I very much enjoyed the vegan menu.
Stopped here for a quick bite. Great location walkable to union. Staff were good and service was quick. Do yourself a favour and get the brisket poutine - it s outstanding. It s big enough for a main; brisket is great and the gravy and truffle aioli sauce was great! Tons of beers at standard restaurant market. Food is reasonably priced for restaurants in 2024. Will definitely return. Parking: I think illegal to street park. Take public transit or walk.
Go!
Nice place, friendly staff and the food the best
Slowest service ever. 30 min to get a glass of water? Really? On a Saturday when theres a MLB game, do you think you can get more staff working? Also, whats up with taking orders on a dinky little notepad? Invest in a few iPads to send order directly to the kitchen. Wouldnt recommend this place.
Great place to catch up with friends. Atmosphere is good. Dont feel like this place is just trying to turn tables. Staff is very accommodating, friendly and happy. So many beers to choose from.
I would definitely eat here again! The white sangria was the best white sangria that I ve ever had and the calamari was so different but delicious as it included thin slices of dill pickle and hot peppers that were lightly coated and fried. A+ all around!
We arrived on Saturday (June 1st) around 4 pm. The restaurant was moderately busy and we wanted to watch the Jays game. The Champions League Soccer final was on and all screens were dedícated to that or the Canadian Open. This is where the two hostesses stepped up and were awesome, they said that one of the screens could be switched and took us to a table for two where they would swap the game to the TV above the table. Unfortunately the screen was in a position where only one of us could view it, however the hostess had no problem finding us another table where we could both view the screen. Amazing customer service. Server was great, food was great (Turkey Burger is fantastic), and beer selection is also great. Loved the open windows, gives the restaurant a patio feel on a beautiful spring day. Thank you for a delicious meal with wonderful customer service.
Our server Dessa, was incredible!! Knowledgeable and friendly, and went above and beyond to accommodate one member of our group with a severe allergy. She was just wonderful. The kitchen staff were great and did an amazing job!! Can t wait to go back to the Toronto location!! Dietary restrictions: Gluten free.
Visited this place today to meet up with friends after a long while. Very nice place. Laid back atmosphere. Loved the ambience. Clean and quiet place to sit back and relax with friends. Food was great. Cajun wings were especially amazing. Drinks selection was bigger than the food menu and the draft beer we tried were delicious and refreshing. Staff were also very friendly and smiling. Reasonable prices. Value for money.
Tasty food, a variety of beers, worth trying, and a great atmosphere
Alyssa and Harrison are some of the best bartenders around! They always take excellent care of my guests and myself, and have beautiful pride decorations which is lovely to see. 10/10 recommend for a meal or even just a quick drink. Always something fresh to try and a great vibe in the restaurant. xx
Entire experience 5 stars! Most comfortable chairs in a restaurant ever! If the owner could link the info. please Id be so grateful! Sat at round table with leather seats :)
Really yummy vegan options, and open late! I was pleasantly surprised :)
Great food options and weekly specials. Great location as well. My go-to appetizer recommendation are their bacon avocado flat bread and calamari. For food order, being a big comfort food guy, I highly recommend their fried chicken and their brisket meals. Chicken Sandwiches are also top notch and a great smaller meal option.
We ended up at the Brewhouse late at night We were surprised to see that nice place. All windows were open, and it was a very nice ambiance. The bartender was very helpful with the beers menu. I recommend that place!
Surprisingly, we came here with a large group and they said they didnt sell pitchers.. which is odd for a place called beertown. Ended up being pretty expensive for the group because of that. Theres cheaper place to watch a game and have beer
5 stars are not enough. Beer Town Public House in Toronto is an amazing spot that I highly recommend. The beer selection is incredible, with many local and craft options to choose from. The food is just as fantastic the burgers and chilli con carne are especially delicious. The service is top-notch. The staff are friendly, quick, and really know their stuff. They made great recommendations and made sure we had everything we needed. This place is also very family-friendly. I visited with my kids, and they loved it. The staff gave them crayons and coloring books, and they even got free drink refills. My kids now prefer Beer Town over McDonald s!
We were really hungry and there wasnt any other good place nearby. This was reallllly goooooood! Both the burger and the sandwich! The fries are great too! Food
I stopped in a few nights ago for a friends birthday and WOW, food was amazing, great atmosphere and our server Dessa had some amazing beer recommendations. Will definitely be back!
Excellent experience! Cant wait to return.
Great food. Great service by Sarah!! Super kind and very personable!!
Honestly probably the best vegan pub food!! It s a rare find when a non-veg restaurant has an incredible plant based menu. Somehow these guys got it down right. Can t wait to come back!
The BEST!
A solid spot even for non-beer drinkers like myself. If you wanna snack, get the Pretzel, its so good. But all their appetizers were good.
Good food, good service, a bit high priced. Dietary restrictions: My SIL is gluten intolerant. They have many GF and vegetarian choices. Food : 4/5 |
Good food and drinks with variety of options. Good service. Perfect corner location Good value for money. Food : 5/5 |
The soup was delicious! On a rainy afternoon when you came in for wings and saw they had soup, it was just what I needed. The wings were good, I only got 7 wings which was a (bad) shocker. Service was great, I love when you order water and the server still stays on top of ur refills
I was there to celebrate a friend and former coworkers retirement and I had a great time. The food and the service were very good. The 3 stars grade for the atmosphere comes from the absolute loudest radio I have ever heard in a restaurant washroom. I have no idea what they were thinking.
I liked this place. A great selection of beer on tap. Was there late in the evening and it was still busy. The interior is nice and better than the Jack Astor down the street. Overall very nice place.
good food, chicken options were excellent good beer, lots of options good service, done right good price Food : 5/5 |
I was in for dinner last weekend with my mom and sister after seeing a show. The food was great. We all enjoyed it very much. Our server, Devin was an absolute delight. He was super personable and fun. He made our experience wonderful. I ll be asking for him to serve us next time we come in. Food
Delicious food and drinks at awesome prices
Nice atmosphere, I liked the indoor patio, and loved the Super Salad. Edit: 2nd time trying this place today and the fried chicken was exceptional. Also we were served by a guy with blonde hair and glasses, couldnt get his name but I loved his attitude.
Good lively pub with excellent beer and fantastic food.
First time here. Excellent beer choices. From low ibu beers to very high ibu beers! The staff answered my questions cause Im no beer expert. Great place to watch sports . My only thing is I wish theyd get the smokers to do their thing away from the open front door !!! Otherwise ,we had a great evening.
Brisket burger is amazing. So are the fish tacos Dietary restrictions: Has a long gluten free menu Kid-friendliness: Kids menu available Wheelchair accessibility: Restaurant is on ground floor
Terrible experience! We ve been waiting for almost 20 mins and no one came to take our order. Was not busy at all and staff were messing around without paying attention to the customers!
Brutal service while seated at the bar, and a fairly quiet Tuesday night. Had to track down our menus for ourselves after waiting 15 minutes, and needed to then flag someone down take our order, despite MANY staff congregating in front of us at the bar. Took nearly 20 minutes to just be asked if we wanted drinks. They forgot to bring water multiple times. After waiting another 20 minutes with empty plates and glasses we had to flag down someone for bills, and then we were left with bills and no machine to actually pay. We spent way too much time there to just get drinks and an app, so we frustratingly ended our dinner early and left.
I wouldnt go back there even if I had to! On a normal week night, I had to wait for 20mins at a time to get my waiter to check up on me and to ask for things. The beer flight was dripping all over the table, and the waiter did not even write down our order, she had to take one order and come back for another! Unbelievable!
Great service and atmosphere. Loved cherry beer and hot dog
Its a good place for a solid meal. The menu is solid pub fare but theres enough interesting changes to the standards to keep it interesting. The beer selection is the star of the show. You will be spoiled for choice. After your meal you can bring some of it home if you like too. Food : 5/5
Service was really good. People are very nice and caring. The food was okay, but it felt like old oil... Taco with Fish well done Food
Decent food and drinks, the service was very friendly and helpful. Overall a good time.
Quick stop for some great apps. Nachos are amazing!
Lots of great beers. Great service. The food is surprisingly good. And when its busy its noisy as heck. Food : 5/5
First time in Toronto and this place killed it. Venison Chili was amazing, bartender and manger were incredible.
Beer selection amoung the best. Server knew her (Julia) beer facts and made an excellent selection for me when I told her my likes. Caitlinn has a staff many brew pubs and tap room only wish they had. Bartender even made a Black and Tan.
Good burgers, good beer, good place to stop and have dinner and great for a sports atmosphere. May be better after games though to be fair.
Good beer selection, poor food.
The food is amazing but the Portions are surprisingly tiny. Beer selections is great. Music is a little loud in order to speak we had to yell :))
If you were looking for a place to eat deliciously and drink beer, I recommend it) Service can be marked separately - very pleasant
Good beer options, food is okay and the best thing is services and all staff are very humble n fast. So definably recommended Vegetarian options: Nachoes, sweet potato fries
We went there for dinner with office colleagues the food and services was good
Enjoyed lunch..quac is a must
Good place!
Incredibil selection of beers. Good choices for finger food.
Stopped in here after a day of taking in Hockey Hall of Fame and prepping for Maple Leafs vs Stars. Great atmosphere. The beers are poured in the a glass and coaster of the beer crafter really cool. Food is excellent. If you need a beer and food go here. Its awesome
Amazing food and wide selection of beers and drinks as expected. The poutine came out in large portions and very tasty. The burgers are also good and service was very pleasant. The food is reasonably priced and very tasty! I would come back here again
Pretty good selection of craft beer, both on draught and in cans/bottles. Food was decent too, the spinach dip was really good, the brisket maybe a bit dry though. Service I must say was really good.
Great location for having after work drinks or before a game. The food tastes good, and they have a bunch of beers on tap. The rotating taps are a great option for trying out a bunch of newer beers, or the local rotating taps for when you want some local beer. The staff is friendly but the place gets very busy - especially on games nights or right after working
Great place to stop and gran a beer or meet up with friends for one!
The establishment offers a very large selection of beers. We were made very welcome. The atmosphere is nice
This was absolutely amazing! The employees were very positive and the food was DELICIOUS! I would recommend it for all ages.
