Hi, I went in for a burger today and the renovations on the roof were making the air absolutely horrible to breathe. To make it worse my burger tasted gross and chemically when I got home with it and I’m guessing from this air. I can’t believe you are open during these renovations, and that your staff has to breathe that all day.
Burger was horrible. Patty was burnt and bitter, it was so burnt that it started turning the sauce grey, the vegetables were also slippery, additionally the burger is NOT worth $10+tax. So so disappointed because their advertising does NOT look like this.
Mini size for $13. The most not tasty burger with a cheese patty. Lack of taste Bacon is overcooked.
The staff here is great and they stock some really handy pantry items. Unfortunately the veggie burger is not very good - even the toppings feel super cheap for what you're paying. I'd rather just get frozen patties and cook something at home. I ordered spicy fries and somehow ended up with fries with absolutely zero seasoning. I wanna support them because they're so nice, but guuuuys you gotta get the basics down!
I just so happen to find this hidden gem.! And I'm very glad I did!!! I made a burger/chicken combo . . . . . . I mean it was incredible!!! Actually no, incredible doesn't accurately describes this masterpiece!!! This will be my only burger joint I hit up when I'm down in t.dot And aside from food being amazing, everyone working here is top notch!! Very friendly! A family vibe !!! Highly highly recommend!!!
Made fresh to order Friendly service Was a lil disappointed with the size of the burger....also ordered the "spicy fries" - they werent spicy at all Good tasting burger but for the price, youd think it would be bigger 🤷🏻♀️
This place is promising, but could improve its burgers. The good: the buns were nice and soft and they didn't use too much sauce. The fries were tasty and crispy, even after I brought them home. The not-so-good: - the burgers seemed to be cooked on a grill and not a griddle. I could be wrong, but the sear that you usually get with a flat top wasn't present. Additionally, the burgers were not as wide as the bun, so edge bites were mostly bun and tomato. - the bun was not toasted, so it got soggy because of the tomato that was the top of the burger. - only one slice of pickle in the burger. You need to include at least two or use medallions. - they just included one leaf of iceberg lettuce. Iceberg is the right choice, but please chop it up. - $12.50 for a double burger without cheese is steep, but maybe I haven't fully grasped how expensive beef is these days. I would be willing to try this again in a few months once they iron out the kinks.
My wife, daughter and I stopped there after work before hitting the road to Muskoka. We all had the brisket burger and agreed that it was one of the best burgers in Toronto. Lemonade was also very good. Fries could be improved. They could be thinner and crisper. Over-all it was well worth the stop and as my business is around the corner I will be there occasionally for lunch You could finish it off by going around the corner on Westmoreland to Not Out for the best ice cream in Toronto If you haven't been to Geary in the last few years it is quickly becoming the 'go to' food experience street in Toronto
Brisket burger goes haaaaard
im better off with Rudys burger. i love my burger with extra sauce that make my lettuce soggy. Also, love how cold the burger feels. ordinary burger.
One of the best fried chicken sandwiches I ve ever had.
The burger was good but tiny for an $10 burger. Like a kids burgerm The fries are McCain...nothing special.
Got the gluten free bun, when I got home the bun was still frozen solid and ice cold (obviously). Pretty disappointing and unfortunately will stick to Burger Priest for their GF buns.
Service was excellent, friendly staff, great tasting food. I would definitely come here again.
Amazing burgers and fried chicken, the poutine is also
French fries were overdone, dry and no seasoning. Fried chicken burger was average, sauces average, and smaller than anticipated. Not worth the $11 in my opinion. Many better burger joints in the city.
Really great tasting burger! More of a takeout place than dine in but they do have a small indoor table and a few tables on the patio to eat. Owners were really nice too.
The smallest burger Ive ever had for 12 dollars. Also, they ask you for tips even if youre ordering takeout :)
I went there for lunch yesterday and the food was very delicious! I was greeted by the staff who were very friendly! The establishment was very clean and well kept! Overall, a great experience and would recommend this to anyone!
Delicious burger and poutine! Perfect food for the park across the street. Will come back many times!
Mmmm delicious burgers and poutine.
Great simple burger with no brioche bun or breadcrumbs etc which I love. Poutine was some of the best I ve had outside Quebec / Ottawa.
Delicious fresh tasting burger, just wish it was bigger! Fries were really good too. Cool sauces and rubs to purchase in the store front. Awesome little place! Ill order the double patty next time
Great burger and fries, fun specialty sauce. Our experience going during COVID was fine, felt safe and went in the park
Food was fine. The fact that one of the staff, who was dodging in and out of the building to talk to customers, collect orders, talk to his colleague at the order counter, was not wearing a mask was disturbing. Community safety and city bylaws obviously not a concern for this company. Wont be heading back there...COVID 19 not worth a burger. FYI weeks later, after a very nice response from the establishment...I headed back intending to try again. Sadly the same guy was at the counter without a mask. So nope. Wish them well though.
