I have been in this place for a few times now. I ordered Mediterranean style omelette which was served quickly and it was delicious. Adrian helped me with everything and his service was amazing. Will definitely come back next time when I m in Toronto.

I showed up around 7:40 a.m., and they were so nice. The food was amazing, and Im so glad I added smoked salmon to my order. Nice lil chill spot to start your day or even take a break in the middle of. Highly recommended. Great place overall except for the iPad you must use to tell the restaurant you are waiting for a table. That gets -5 stars.

The experience over here was amazing ! The service was outstanding as we ordered tea but unfortunately it was not brewed properly. However when we brought this to the server s attention and they changed it with a new order of London tea. This was something which we do not observe ever where. So I would say great job team! Atmosphere here is on point! The food is solid but without the vibe Id say its a skip. Service was mixed. Our initial server seemingly forgot about us so another server who noticed we hadnt been helped came over to cover for her. He was excellent. Cafe Landwer, all their locations really, have been a go-to choice for me. I have been there by myself and with friends. I like the design, the seating, the food options. I used to really like the blond chocolate chip cookie which as per my knowledge has been discontinued but other than that its a great place to hang out of just have some time alone with a good book.

All really good - great food, nice service and vibrant atmosphere. Had shawarma and shakshuka - both superb! Vegetarian options: Hummus, falafel, halloumi, salads etc.

Dropped by for a quick take out coffee. The place had great ambiance and features a takeout counter for a quick seamless experience. The staff was pleasant and had varied options. I got a white mocha (which is not easy to find, apparently) made with a mocha sauce. It tasted good and was reminiscent of lindor white chocolate. Would consider coming back for a take out coffee or for brunch.

when I was having dinner the waitress started to wipe the lamps, they were very dirty, there was dust everywhere, its terrible, it ruined my dinner, the food was delicious, but the waiters and the manager dont understand what they are doing, its terrible

4 stars for great and fast customer service! I ordered the grilled salmon + fries. The fries were good, not over done and not to crispy, the salmon however lacked flavour and was a little overdone, great coffee though! Update November 6 2024: I ordered the fillet mignon kebab, which, by far, is the worst dish I ve ever had at any Cafe Landwer location. It lacked any seasoning and tasted bland.

Waited for a very long time for our food to be served. I didn t consider it brunch but rather a late lunch. Staff were very friendly and attentive. Food was bland, which was disappointing after waiting for a long time

I recently visited Café Landwer on University Ave, and I was incredibly disappointed. First, the service was painfully slow. It took an eternity for someone to take our order, and when our food finally arrived, it was lukewarm at best. The coffee was mediocre tasted more like burnt water than a freshly brewed cup. The ambiance was another letdown. The place felt cramped and noisy, making it difficult to have a comfortable conversation. To top it off, the cleanliness left much to be desired; our table was sticky, and I noticed crumbs from previous customers on the floor. For the price, I expected much better quality. The menu is overpriced for what you actually get. I left feeling unsatisfied and regretting my choice to dine there. I cant recommend Café Landwer, and I wont be returning.

We had the croissant Benedict and I can not fault it. The turkey bacon was great. For me personally the decor and history does not quite match with the menu. They are both good however don t match each other. At least me as a first timer just didn t get it. The coffee was a let down. Not much flavour, the milk not frothy. It was a Sunday. Very busy with a line outside when we left. Just keep that in mind.

Went there with my parents for evening coffee and snacks. Coffee was good and croissant was fresh and flaky.

The cafe is nicely decorated and feels as if it was there for many years although it is new. If you are OK with a late lunch, the place is much less busy after 1pm. Service was very attentive, friendly and prompt with all servers taking care of all tables which makes it easier. The food was great. The desserts are on display at the corner of the counter which is great. Spacious, lean and modern washrooms. All in all, a great cafe!

For a cafe as gorgeous and with lovely servers, the dessert was really disappointing. The chocolate cake was hard and the apple/raspberry pie was stale. Quite disappointing to be honest. The only good thing about the place was the friendly server and the empathy he showed after we have him out feedback
