I was lucky enough to get a table within a week. The great customer service started with their call to confirm my reservation. They called me on the day of to remind me of my reservation. I came in from NY and it was the highlight of our weekend. Delicious food prepared well to our liking and served with warm and capable service. One of my favorite places to dine in Toronto. I will definitely will be going back again and again. If I recall our waiter was Stephan and he was very attentive and made us feel at home. Keep up the great work FK

This place is special. We tried it in summer 2023, and it blew our minds. Weve been back multiple times since then. We celebrated a special birthday here, and it was so good I took my mom here for her 60th. In her words, it was the best culinary experience of her life. Franks ever-changing vision of his menu is not only inspiring to home cooks like myself, but jaw dropping with what he offers - and no two visits have the same menu. The staff are lovely, unpretentious and ensure you feel at home when dining with them. And dont get me started on their wine list. Id give them 10/5 if I could. We will be back many, many, many more times. Thanks Frank and team.

This was our first visit but it won t be our last. The food was perfectly cooked, seasoned and beautifully presented. (After apps our group had the steak, sablefish, lamb and cornish hen). Service was exceptional. The 6 of us in our group thoroughly enjoyed our dinners.

There is a meticulous artistry to FKs offering, both in taste and presentation. The onion soup was a visual delight, nestled in a whimsical birds nest. The oxtail tortellini and sablefish both had flavourful hits with each bite. The kobe short rib might be one of the best melt-in-your-mouth meat dishes in the city. The goats milk cheesecake was elevated without losing the simple indulgence of a cheesecake. And the passion fruit parfait was all delicate dollops and dome. But the thing that impresses me most about this place is that all this Michelin worthy dishes are served with a charming warmth that you dont always find at fancy places. Its like youve been invited to the home of one of the citys best chefs, and are enjoying a casual dinner with friends. And its what makes FK a place to go back to again and again.

Overall amazing, highly recommended the short rib and oxtail. Quantity is good as well, one main and one appetizer is enough for 1 person if you are hungry.

We were very excited to try FK, having been huge fans of the old Frank s Kitchen. Unfortunately, we left disappointed. Service and drinks were great. We ordered the lobster ceviche and burrata. Both were very mediocre in flavors and texture. As for mains, I loved my sablefish but my partner found the oxtail tortellini underwhelming. The cauliflower cacio e pepe as a side was mediocre. Dessert chocolate ganache was good. Overall, nothing about the food was mind blowing. Also, the mains took a very long time. The main issue though was that it seemed the night before a vent or fan in the kitchen had broken down and while they expected it to be repaired by dinner the next day, it was not. This resulted in a very, very smokey environment at times and we ultimately had to move tables, though that was only marginally better. The door was open and shut to let the smoke out but it was a very cold night so it wasn t comfortable. The smoke issue was probably a one off but I think they should have canceled the dinner service for the evening. They didn t charge us for dessert but that was a very small concession in my view. I would have expected a better comp.

What could be better to elevate a winter movie night at home than some Michelin Guide recommended FK Curbside soo yummy!!! The Kobe short rib was to die for and the homemade bread of course but I m allll about the passion fruit parfait lol Everything was ready perfectly on time and still nice and warm when I got it home. Great value for the quality as well. Thank you for restarting the curbside and giving a fun winter night in with some delicious treats!

This past Thursday, my bf surprised me for my birthday with a tasting menu at your fabulous restaurant! Every single dish was delicious, inventive and so esthetically pleasing! Michelin Star guide recommended restaurant offering exquisite mouth watering meals for pick up during the month of January. I ordered everything and we enjoyed them all weekend long with some of their fabulous wine! - 22 outside - no problem. Let FK make your dinners for you. Can t wait for my next batch.

My family of four came here to celebrate my birthday. Mind you, my kids are 8 weeks old and 3 years old. FK did a great job accommodating us by putting us in a quiet, lounge seat near the window. We had ample space and a high chair. The service was attentive and prompt. The food was on point. We had the Rockefeller oysters, sweet potato fries, scallops, duck confit risotto. Everything was delicious and well portioned. I would come again!

Yet again, another spectacular meal and top notch service at FK! They always get it right - from the minute you walk in the door to the time you reluctantly need to leave - its always a thoughtful and client oriented experience. The food was beyond delicious - I had the burrata to start, along with chef Franks homemade bread (yum!!) followed by the grilled salmon and cauliflower gratin. The salmon was tender on the inside yet crispy on the outside - perfectly executed! And wow, the cauliflower gratin was something else - you must try that when you go! And to finish off, we tried the passion fruit parfait. To say that this dessert was pretty is an understatement - its so lovely to look at and even better to eat! The little spheres of juice pop in your mouth - so unbelievably delicious! My mouth is watering as I write this which means well be headed back there again soon! Thank you for another memorable experience FK - you truly are one of Torontos best fine dining restaurants.

At FK the tasting menu, is not a sampling of the dinner menu, it consists of unique off menu items that are so flavourful, creative and visually pleasing. Absolutely lovely meal in a stylish space. They have a great by-the-glass wine menu that meant for a very special glass of wine with dinner. Loved the tartare and the oxtail tortellini especially. Would recommend this place for sure.

Have dined at FK a few times and several other times when they were on college street as Franks Kitchen. The staff and knowledgeable and friendly. Willing to talk about the menu and wine list , happy to navigate the options to meet dietary restrictions. Table maintenance was impeccable and food as usual was flawless. Only wish I could be there for meals more often. Always recommend this place to friends, coworkers and cliente without hesitation. Shawn leads the front house staff with grace and professionalism and Frank in the back always sends out beautiful delicious food. Make a reservation and know you ll be in for a fantastic night out. This was an absolutely superb meal in a fine room, not at all crowded on a Wednesday night. We three shared PEI oysters which were fine, then two of us had a white asparagus appetizer that was generous and glorious. My main was an asparagus risotto (I like asparagus!) with beef short ribs. It too was excellent as was the lobster salad and the bouillabaise my friends had. For dessert we had house made ice cream, again very good. None of us are drinkers, so the bill with tax and tip came out to $90 each, very reasonable these days and especially so for such an excellent dinner.

Dearest Shawn Cooper: From the beginning, I was a regular at your college street location. My fondest memory was having my (surprise) birthday dinner there. And you turned off ALL the lights in the restaurant when you brought out a homemade bday dessert and candle. The other dining patrons were like why are the lights off? My birthday hosts wanted me to have a 5 star birthday and you certainly went out of your way to make it happen. Most memorable experience ever!!!Yourself and Frank would often come out to our table as we were regulars, and asked us what we felt like eating. And both of you would brainstorm to create items not listed on the menu. It was so natural for you. If you haven t dined at Franks/FK- please go and support them They are truly the epitome of what this industry stands for: excellence, white glove standard of service, fabulous food, family atmosphere and family run business! Chef Frank is an absolutely fabulous Chef and every time we go it s an amazing experience. From his own gorgeously made ceramic plates, home made bread, fantastic food and the lovely and welcoming front of house, it is just a perfect experience. I highly recommend FK!

We have dined at FK several times and the our meals have always been memorable. So much thought and care go into each dish. The staff clearly love what they do and that reflects in the entire experience. The Oysters Rockefeller and the Tuna Tartare are the first dishes that come to mind. Food was amazing, everything made tasted fresh and delicious with perfect seasoning on everything. Our waiter was also great as he made sure to wipe down the table after our appetizers etc to prep for mains. I had the Cornish Hen and it was extremely flavorful! There was a miscommunication regarding booking the tasting menu which led to my friends and I not being able to experience it. Edit: Shawn, the owner has spoken with me and effectively resolved the situation. The team and her definitely cares about their customers so I will be changing this to 5-star for their swift service.

I ve been frequenting FK s since it s origins as Frank s Kitchen. I ll start by saying the food is the best. The best ever. You want Michelin Star quality with prices based on real-life earth. They got you! The fun part is that every time I go back, they wow me even more than the first time! So, yeah, again tonight. I had the Boullabaisse and it was possibly the best thing I ve ever had there. Mussels, clams, lobster, crusty bread and a tomato broth that could be equated with Nirvana. But the main reason to keep coming back to FK is they make you feel like family every time. Food is food (and it s outlandishly good here) but you can t buy the vibe.

Second time back at FK and had an absolutely fantastic dinner, honestly still savoring the tastes in my mouth. Every dish was incredible, unique in presentation and combination of ingredients, but well controlled and fuses so well together for unbelievable flavours. Must try: tenderloin with fois gras, oxtail tortellini, spotted prawn agnolotti. What an exceptional meal!

FK provider excellent service and food to our party of 12! Highly recommend! Tuna tartar and sirloin steak is incredible. It was extremely organized, and they even prepared name cards for each of the guests so they knew exactly where meals would go. Will definitely be back!

UPDATE: So I went to FK with a large party for a 50th bday party. The service was top notch, the food was excellent, and the evening was beautiful and organized. We all pre-selected our appetizer and our mains prior to the evening and when we all arrived, our table was ready with pre printed name place cards. This greatly helped in assuring everyone got the right selection. Because of how highly organized this was, everyone got to enjoy their evening catching up and talking instead of pouring over menu details. Everyone who attended was impressed by how seamless it was for a large party. If you are planning an evening with a larger number of people, I highly recommend FK. From start to finish, it was perfect. I keep going back for several reasons as follows in no specific order. It feels like family. Shawn the hostess greets you like you are a long lost friend, she smiles and is genuninly happy to see you. The staff & service is excellent. They are very knowledgeable about their wines/cocktails and the food being served. And the food, my god, the food has alawys been excellent. I have never been disappointed by any of the dishes I have ever had. I was there with a couple of friends this past Saturday for the early seating. It was the 1st restaurant that Ive been to since they reopened, and they did not disappoint. The level of excellence became even more apparent as later that evening I had to meet friends at another resuarant downtown. I look forward to going again very soon, as I know, I am guaranteed a great evening.

Great food and service! A gem in the neighborhood

Ridiculous portions whilst being crazy expensive and to add, the service was non existent. Don t get the $46 orange blossom sangria, it ll just be lightly flavoured orange water. It s 2 stars because we got our zucchini blossoms taken off our bill after saying they tasted shockingly not great.

Menu changed frequently thats a fresh experience and the food and service were greatttt. Definitely coming back.

Its rare I give 5 stars at a restaurant but this one was special. Everything I had put in my mouth was a just an explosion of flavour. From the ribs, to the watermelon feta to the dessert. Everything was on point. This is my new favorite restaurant in the city.

What a special restaurant. We went to FK on Saturday night and it was by far one of my favourite dining experiences in the city. Shawn, Frank, and the rest of the FK team really know how to make their guests feel special, from the way we were treated to the quality of ingredients and the love put into our food - you could really taste it. I would 100% recommend FK to anyone who loves great food and an upscale, homey dining experience. Lobster carbonara was outstanding. I ve been eating there countless times and I still get amazed by the quality of the food as I ve had it all! These Summer Corn Agnolottis are without a doubt the best pastas I ve had in Toronto. There are too many thing to mention when it comes to express how amazing my experiences have been eating at FK, but I will say, the service is outstanding and the cheese cake is to die for If you didn t give it a try yet you are clearly missing out!

Had a nice midweek meal with friends here. Everything we ordered was delicious and beautifully presented. They deserve their all the recognition for the food they have been getting for the years. We had all of the steak options and all were uniquely great. The boar tortellini was the groups hands down favourite.

My friends introduced me to this gem and I have been frequently coming to dine here for quite a few years now. The food is exceptional, detail oriented and the flavours are just elevating. The owner and staff are very friendly, appreciative and value you coming back , which makes you feel special. The food is carefully made in house, they even bake their own bread! Standards are held high, thats why you always need a reservation!

Just celebrated my 50th birthday dinner at @fkrestaurant. I have eaten at many 5 star restaurants all around the world. FK was honestly the best dining experience I ve ever had! Chef Frank shops daily and makes everything from scratch including their bread (which was bright green and crazy delicious) to the cheese, to the sorbets etc I ve never all at once said this is the best I ve ever had for everything I ate. The oysters, the bread, the cheese, the steak, lamb, and fish, the cheesecake and strawberry shortcake etc When you can make an onion ring taste incredible, you re doing something magical!!! On top of that, I got sticker shock in a good way! It wasn t the cheapest place I ve eaten at, but for the quality, the service, the atmosphere, the attention to detail, I feel like I should have paid double what I did. There s a reason why they just made the Michelin guide! I never post about restaurants but had to with this one. Thanks for much to owners Shawn and chef Frank for giving me an incredible night on a milestone birthday. I will definitely be back!

It s been ages since we enjoyed Frank s - and it was actually our first time at the St Clair location, having frequently dined at the OG College St many many years ago. It is as good and maybe better than it ever was. Fresh ingredients combined in delicious and memorable combinations. The strawberry and Burrata was perfection. Lobster and shrimp ceviche stunned. And the sweet corn agnolotti with truffled noisette was a showstopper. Gorgeous sablefish was almost too pretty to eat. Finished it off with the star berry shortcake - which was the perfect ending. Loved every minute and every bite- one of the best meals I ve had in a very long time. We will be back!

I went there 2 times with my bf and had an amazing time for both. We tried different dishes each time, and every single one of those was soooo tasty. Besides all the staff were friendly and professional. I was especially impressed by the service from the staff called Stephan(Sorry if I spelled it wrong). He was in charge of our table on Nov 5th. He looked very passionate about his work and paid smaller attention to the service, which made our time more memorable. 2nd time when we visited, the table we used was kinda wobbly, but he quickly noticed and fixed it. It was not the big deal, but I do appreciate how considerable his server was. We will definitely come back again. Thank you so much!

Mediocre food and racist management. We were the only Asians in the restaurant and did not get attended to. We waited 40 minutes for someone to come by to ask for desserts while the table beside us (old Caucasian business men) was getting the best treatment of their lives. Disgusting. On a side note, the only thing worth mentioning is the homemade bread. It was really good.

By far, FK is THE BEST CONSISTENT restaurant (no small feat and the benchmark of excellence) and my favourite restaurant period. I have been dinning for over 10 years from when they were on College. The food, incredible, the service incredible, and if you can believe it, the best steak for a non steak restaurant. I would normally not right a review especially for my favourite restaurant as I do not want to fight for a reservation, however after so many years of patronage and NEVER being disappointed, how could I not.

It was my first time at FK and it did not disappoint. The food, service and ambiance just blew me and my dinner date away . The bread starter always made in house daily was beautifully presented. Our appetizers and mains were masterfully executed. We had the sticky toffee and the pear sorbet and both were divine. Can t wait to be back again! for the great experience.

After multiple regular visits I arranged a party for 50 people at FK restaurant. I was astounded at how well the kitchen handled the event. Multiple attendees commented on how good the food was. Im pretty sure I caouldnt have found a space for 50 people anywhere else that could have performed as competently. Totally professional and far better food than even I had hoped. Kudos to all the staff and the kitchen.

Very solid menu and great execution of the dishes. The wine list looks like my cellar, no real story to tell or direction its taking, just a lot of money invested in it. Not to say there is no value to be found in the bottles offered, just too eclectic. They should have someone help write the wine list who can work with the chef. That way all the bottles would make sense not just hundreds of interesting ones to choose from. Oh and severely needs a cheese plate option for dessert. Thats how you set yourself apart, and sell more wine. We loved it

I went there with my friend. The staff there were so friendly and provided excellent service the whole time. The food was tasty with great quality and the atmosphere was cozy. Definitely a great place to hang out with your friends or bring your loved one

We ordered steak and pasta. Steak was fantastic, well seasoned and soft as butter. Pasta was great too. For cocktails, french 45 feels like mojitos and let the sun in feels like Japanese sake. Both refreshed us really well. The server was really kind. Thanks for making our night wonderful.

Went to this restaurant with my bf today to pre-celebrate his birthday. We ordered lobster spaghetti, steak and cheesecake. The food was delicious (especially STEAK!!!) and our server (kris) also really friendly. Personally I think the fries was bit salty.. Again, Thank You for the warm welcoming today ( reception lady )and see you guys next time!!

Sheer Perfection! I have enjoyed FK many times for personal occasions so when it came time to book an important corporate dinner event for a large group of senior executives I immediately thought of Shawn, Frank and the FK team. And WOW - what a phenomenal experience. Everything was even better than I could have anticipated. My group is not easily impressed, and often surprise me with multiple last minute changes and requests. After the event my group could not stop raving about the beautiful space, incredible food and wine, and the exceptional service. Working with FK is a dream and a must for any event. Great Service and food.

I think I expected a bit more reading the reviews. The food isn t anything spectacular. I d say the the frites were more fries. The Bouillabaisse is far too soupy and oily . I would have liked the hosts not to wearing black shorts and Nikes. I expected fancy but really it s more a Saturday night meal As opposed to fine dining. Admittedly the restrauant doesn t say it s that but the prices do.

We had a wonderful evening. Food was delicious and the service superb. The Yuzu tart was amazing was as the Sauternes.

Absolutely delicious. The flavours are incredible and the prices are fair but if they were raised I would say too expensive. Everything is made fresh and has wonderful flavours and textures that allow you to enjoy the flavours of the meat and grains themselves. My only comments would be that the music & decor doesn t scream fine dining, perhaps modern dining is more appropriate & the risotto could loose a touch of the cheese (the last 3 bites we re getting too powerful) but I will certainly be returning and look forward to it. This was our first experience at FK but it won t be our last. Every dish from the appetizers to the desserts was exquisite. I wish I had the vocabulary of a food critic in order to do justice to the dishes that Frank creates.

From the complimentary bread to the starters to the mains, everything was SO delicious! The cocktails were great too. Nice big selection of wine. They ran out of the dessert we wanted but we didnt mind, we were already full. The chef instead gave us some complimentary truffle chocolates at the end, which were yummy! Definitely a must try. Everything on the menu is amazing!

It was ok. We have been here before and we were quite impressed. No so much this time. Maybe third time is a charm?

Delicious and memorable dinner. Everything from the Rockefeller baked oyster appetizers to the beef tenderloin, with foie gras and white truffles was prepared perfectly. Goat cheesecake and chocolate gnash for dessert was a perfect way to top off a delicious meal. Service was attentive and friendly. We look forward to coming back.

What a delicious experience. FK is finer dining-ish and the prices reflect that but the food is worth it. Their menu changes but all the food is made fresh from scratch and make sure to try their desserts. They are known for their great cocktails as well. The atmosphere is very cozy with a nice touch of modern design thrown in. The staff were all very friendly, and made you feel more than just another table paying for dinner. Parking is a little tough on St. Claire however there is a car park slightly further west from its location. This would be a hot spot for a date or just a great night out with friends

The complimentary bread was unique and delicious, my favorite has to be the olive bread. Oxtail with truffles was amazing, a must try. The side dish of brussels sprouts is the best brussel sprouts I ever have, we ordered it twice. Other dishes was good too, and cocktail is pretty. Price is a little high, but for its quality is good. For sure will come back again.

My partner and I ordered our NYE dinner from here. It was a fixed priced menu with a choice of appetizer, main and dessert + a chocolate truffle, oh and some bread, cheese and meat to start for only $85! It was so hard to choose what to eat, so we each picked different things to share. You place your order via email, which was very easy. My only suggestion would be to have an option to provide your credit card info over the phone. I did ask, but was advised that all pick-up orders were done via email and to provide the time of the requested pickup, order in full and credit card information to reserve. I know a lot of restaurants were thrown in to the pick-up and delivery options due to Covid and websites are expensive and tie consuming, so maybe there wasnt time or money to put a secure online ordering site together. But just a suggestion for future to be able to call in with the credit card info. Anyway, back to the delicious part. My home presentation wasnt great, so I wont post a picture, but the food itself was OH...MY...GOD. The portions were perfect, we even had a bit leftover for a snack the next day. The absolute standouts were the truffle ravioli and the beef wellington. We were literally talking about them for days afterwards. The desserts were great too! Some can be so heavy after a rich, meal, but they were the perfect after dinner treat. Not too sweet or heavy. I cannot wait to order again.

During a covid Valentines day, my husband surprised me by ordering an exceptional meal for us. The truffle ravioli and the lobster thermidor were absolutely outstanding! Also, the seafood salad with the cumin dipping sauce and beef wellington were beyond delicious!!

Finally experienced FK, after trying to get a reservation @ their old College St location, then when they moved to St Clair and even during the pandemic they will sold out when I tried one weekend. Last night we had the best pandemic restaurant takeout experience. Hoping we can enjoy it again soon on the patio. We will definitely be back!

WOW! I am at a loss for words at how amazing this dinner was. It was simply the best and utterly delicious. Thank you to the entire FK team for the delectable food. The food looked GORGEOUS and tasted superb. We ordered pick-up (due to the pandemic) and ordered the antipasto plate, crab cakes, ravioli, lamb, fish, and grilled vegetables. Every single dish was special and had my taste buds singing. Each bite was better than the next! I cant wait to try the rest of the menu items! Seriously, this was one of the best dinners I have had in Toronto. As for pick-up, everything was labelled and packaged perfectly, so it made the dinner very easy and special despite being at home. But, if youre lucky to eat in person (now that restaurants have opened again!), the restaurant is stunning and has a great vibe and atmosphere. Shawn, Chef Frank and the entire FK team are WONDERFUL people and have great customer service. We are a big foodie family and have eaten at Torontos best restaurants and FK takes the top spot. My new favourite and I will be returning often!!! Thank you Shawn and Chef Frank for running a truly special restaurant!

We have been twice to this restaurant and both times experienced the same rudeness from the owner. Last night the attitude was horrific and immediately brought us back to our experience with her pre-pandemic. Coldness and quite frankly plain old rude!

Food was outstanding! We had the ceviche, halibut, lobster risotto. Finished the meal with their to-die-for banana pie. We will definitely come back!

Possibly the best steak youll ever eat. And the Oysters Rockefeller (when they have them) are easily the best in the GTA. Dont expect a bargain, it is upscale dining, but do expect one of the best meals of your life! Enjoy!!

Food and service was excellent! They had a table on the patio available when we arrived on a Friday evening, and were able to get us seated promptly. Servers were very friendly and helpful, and the dishes we ordered were nicely presented and delicious. Would definitely recommend!

Our dinner at FK was excellent! Such lively flavours!!. We started with the crab cakes which were excellent, as were the champagne lobster risotto and the halibut and clams in tomato bisque. A1 all the way! Thank you Frank and Shawn!

I do not think words can describe how amazing the food and service are here. The flavors are rich, portions are hearty, and the team is impeccable. Absolutely amazing experience, and a true gem the city has to off for those looking for a culinary delight.

Not my first time here but the experience was so good I had to make sure to review. The food was amazing. We had the short ribs and the duck risotto and it was cooked to perfection and a pretty decent size! We also got the crab cakes and antipasto plate before hand and they were also very very good. The antipasto plate is all made in house and you can tell, very high quality! Wine and drinks selection is large and inclusive. Atmosphere was relaxed but still classy. The type of place you go to dinner with your fancy inlaws. Also! The staff was amazing, we were running behind because people were coming from out of town but Chris and the floor manager made sure everything went through with enough time for us to enjoy our meal even though we only had an hour and a half 10/10 will go again and will recommend.

The steak, with mushroom sauce is beyond delicious, my favourite item on the menu. Great selection of delicious appetizers. The meals are always consistent, which is great. Excellent dining experience. Changing menu keeps it fresh. Comfortable and relaxed atmosphere. Serving staff is fantastic. My wife and I had the crab cakes and the lobster puttanesca, both were fabulous. Will return, hopefully sooner rather than later!

People were nice and very cozy atmosphere. But the food was such a letdown. The duck confit was absolutely flavourless. I couldnt eat it. Consolation was that their drinks were quite good.

Wow. From start the finish food and service were flawless. It was a medium busy time and the server had each course cleared moments after I finished. Each course was memorable and Id eat again. Tasty beets and goat cheese salad + amazing crab cakes. Artichoke ravioli with lemon and truffle butter was fantastic and bright. Great butter tartlet with fun diverse well balanced toppings so each bite had great and new flavors. Ice cream was so smooth and flavorful. It tasted so strong of espresso and was ice cold and creamy. Definitely coming back. Thank you!

I was at FK just a few months ago, and now have time to write a review. Ive eaten at a few 5 star restaurants in my life, and must say that everything about this place is fantastic. We order meals that had several courses of food, and everything was extremely unique. The food is creatively served and eye-appealing. It somehow tasted even better as I ate it. It is extremely clean. The decor was outstanding! The owners are incredibly welcoming, and I will go back every chance that I get!

I ordered take-out from FK for a major personal milestone that happened during quarantine. So while I cant speak to the ambiance or service, the food itself was simply transcendent. Obviously a lot of thought went into the presentation and taste, taking into consideration the time it takes to carry the meal home. Easily one of the top 10 meals of my life. Now if only these milestones could happen every month or so... :)

What a wonderful patio experience. Same great delicious food and warm but professional service. The patio is lovely, we had steak frites and crab cakes, both superb and very reasonably priced. They have limited hours so grab a reservation while you can. Super, carefully chosen wine list as well.

I heard very good things about FK but I had no idea the food would be that delicious! The dishes we ordered included crab cakes, scallops, and lamb, and I dont think Ive had better anywhere. Also, do yourself a favour and make sure to order dessert. Im still dreaming of the chocolate ganache. I cant remember another meal that was this perfect from start to finish. We are steady visitors to FK. We arrived last night, looking forward to a relaxing evening, only to discover that the restaurant (and whole neighborhood) were victims of a power failure. With twinkling candles, a most capable serving staff and a more than excellent kitchen, we achieved just that. We had a marvelous evening, excellent food (try both veal chop and short rib) and superb wines. This place is a gem, even during a power outage.

Had dinner here, some things were amazing and some were extremely salty. The broth in one dish was like having a gulp of ocean water.

I ve Been to FK twice now. The first time was understaffed and mistakes were made with a very limited menu. The second time we were asked to not have our 7 year olds sit on the benches because they are covered in suede and therefore hard to clean. Anyone, including adults can drop food, so I would suggest, as the environment is a restaurant, to recover the furniture so that the customers don t have to feel uncomfortable. I was insulted that we were asked to not have the kids sit on the bench.

My new favorite restaurant. Been meaning to write a review since my wife took me for my birthday a few weeks back. I called and left a message which they were so kind to call back and book us. Delightfully old-fashioned. Baked Oysters Rockefeller - so perfect, we ordered a second helping. One of the best 3 examples Ive ever had - the others being in Miami and Jamaica (where they literally came off the boat before disappearing into our collective gullets) My wife had the black cod with braised fennel & tomato lobster bisque while I enjoyed the seared scallops / charred rapini, broccoli + watercress veloute. Again - flawlessly prepared & delivered. Added the sautéed mushrooms and frites to complete the perfect ensemble. Being a shameless glutton - I added the chocolate pistachio cake which I could not complete thus making the trip home for the kids. Cant wait to go back and WILL take the kids for brunch - theyre just old enough to appreciate this level of culinary artistry. Bravo! Highly Recommended
