Ive been coming to this location for awhile now. The only thing that keeps me coming is attention to detail and level of professionalism from the manager i believe his name is Harsimram. Good help is to hard to come by he definitely keeps flock flocking thank you the whole flock team for making my experience feel like the first time everytime

A staple place for healthy takeout. The owners are always improving. Flock stock and two thighs and two sides are a meal combo.

At first I was excited about Flock moving to our area, Until they started to block my lane way /driveway Every Single Day. I have to ask their delivery drivers for both inbound and outbound deliveries to MOVE! I don t understand what logic you get out of parking your vehicle infront / in a lane way/on a bike lane. Have some respect for your neighbours.

I ve ordered from this location many times. I have never experienced the food quality being so poor - my chicken tenders were extremely small and the chicken was pink and slimy. Prices went up, but the food quality and portions went down. This will be my last time ordering.

I did a huge (20+) group order for my office lunch and it was handled by this location effortlessly! Beyond amazed with how they coordinated the food--all grouped nicely with labels. Will not hesitate to order from this location again. Also yummy chicken! Thanks Flock!

Wonderful food at a decent price point.

I recently ordered takeout from this location and unfortunately, the rotisserie chicken I received was extremely dry and the wings even cracked off. It was a huge letdown, especially considering how amazing the rotisserie chicken is at their other location. I paid $35 for this chicken, but it was definitely not worth the price.

Dont let the looks deceive you! Honestly, hands down the best rotisserie chicken both my husband and I have ever had! We just went here last night for New Years Eve dinner and was an absolute pleasure. Im hoping they can do more for the overall interior look for the restaurant because the service, staff and food was absolutely on point!

The best salads ive had in Toronto!

For anyone looking for a healthy food option in Toronto (especially after all the holiday indulgence), this spot makes a great choice. They are currently featuring Flock Greens, a colourful range of salads that offer vegetarian, vegan, dairy free and gluten options as well as meat substitutions. I tried the Baja and Boho Flock Greens and both are satisfying, flavourful and filling. You know the food is good when the store is busy with orders. A special shoutout to the staff at the Harbord location offering wonderful service. Make sure to check it out!

This was one of the best meals I ve had in a long time. The staff was awesome and super friendly. I m a super picky eater, and I could eat anything on their menu. I had a bowl and some rotisserie chicken. I m so bummed I don t live in Toronto and I can t eat there every day. Dietary restrictions: I can t eat gluten, still lots of options

They customize your order as you like. Totally recommended!

I order the three piece tenders very often, and it is generally consistently great! My grievance right now is that I noticed the price increased for them by about a dollar, but the size of the tenders shrunk quite noticeably. Also, it used to come with pickles and coleslaw, but the last couple of times I ordered there was no pickles or coleslaw :(, and even though I specified I wanted 3rd base level of heat, they had zero spice on them. Maybe they changed things without me knowing, but it s a little disappointing. I ll still order from them because I am obsessed with the tenders but if I keep being skimped out I may reconsider

3 3/4 Stars: it s a chicken place so go there for the immaculate chicken. I won t hold against them the sides - they re not all that - but yeah, perfectly-juicy, tender, and succulent chicken.

I have ordered multiple times from this location. This time THE CHICKEN WAS COMPLETELY RAW! It ruined my dinner. I always wanted to mention this earlier, but the management has been so TERRIBLE dealing with issues and even speaking to guests. I have witnessed it myself and with other customers as well every time I went to pickup. The new manager doesnt even know how to communicate. Definitely not ordering again from any of the locations.

Dear FLOCK staff, Your fried chicken sandwich (LOUD CHICK SAMMY) would be on the same level as the greats (PG Clucks, Heartbreak Chef, Chicas) if you switched from foil wrap to paper wrap. This seemingly small move would vastly improve the texture, density, moisture level, and integrity of the bun, thereby elevating the sandwich to new levels overall. Since FLOCK is going the extra mile in using and advertising the Martins Potato Roll, its a shame to receive the sandwich wrapped up in foil, where the moisture cant escape and the bun becomes flattened and wet. While I recognize the thoughtful consideration of foil to keep the sandwich warm, the tradeoff in favour of temparure comes at a greater expense. Even if the sandwich is picked up and consumed quickly upon wrapping, this is still the case. Please consider switching to a paper wrap and I am confident you and your customers will benefit greatly. With most of your orders likely coming from takeout customers, this change will positively impact customer satisfaction and FLOCKs bottom line in a material way. Thank you for your consideration.

Yummy food but takes way longer than they say!

Ordered from doordash, they missed an item. When I called Flock about it, they offered no resolution, said they called back, still waiting for that call. Terrible experience. Wont be coming back here. Ive eaten here a couple times and the impression i get is its under poor management.

Atmosphere is fabulous and the staff (especially the GM) are completely on top of everything including deliveries and pick ups coming in. The food is sensational.

The food is great but the online ordering platform is TERRIBLE. Awful customer experience to try and place an order. Needing to enter multiple credit card numbers? Autofill that takes up the whole screen?? Terrible. Fix it.

Always a pleasure to drop in from time to time. Great food, lovely staff and enjoyable music as I eat. I always order the Coop Soup, organic brown rice, cheese biscuit, Boho salad and a green tea . . . always served by the well mannered team members Chloe or the manager Rohit, both very kind, hard working and welcoming upon every visit. I always enjoy my stay and love the degree of work ethic and professionalism that they show, whether Ive ordered or not, I love the level of courtesy and conversation on how well taken care of I was. Its the staff that keeps me coming back. Its always worth my time stopping in for lunch/dinner.

Some friends and I got a variety of salads last week from this cute place. They were all amazing! Fresh and varied ingredients, and a good amount of dressing for the salad. Will definitely come back!

They shrunk the size of the chicken tenders but didn t change how they were advertised. I order from this place twice a week. The tenders today are half the size they were a few days ago.

Flock stock is the best chicken soup in the world! Hands down my favourite place for a healthy dinner.

Harbord location has an excellent patio for warmer weather. The food is reliably delicious and healthy.

One of my good friends took me here a few summers ago and I haven t forgot about it since! The patio atmosphere is an excellent gem in the urban setting and great for people watching and catching up with old friends. The food was fabulous, with many vegan and vegetarian options!

Flock is one of our go-to neighbourhood restaurants for eat-in when we can do that again and take-out while we cant. Delicious and healthy options. Lots of veggie dishes. As an example of the quality: we recently had an order of lovely Flock Stock soup and put some in the fridge for later. Unlike powdered stocks, it jelled. Its the real deal.

Great portion sizes! I got the Baja and the Floke box and I was super happy with my choice. Even though it was vegan, it was super filling. Basically a burrito bowl but a lot healthier. If youre looking for GF, paleo, or dairy-free, they also have that too!

Delicious mains, tasty sides, great portion sizes, and a great alternative to swiss chalet or kfc or one of those other chicken restaurants. I wasn t expecting it to be so flavourful but it sure was. I would love it if you opened a location in Mississauga City Centre. I think it would be a big hit and improve the options in sauga for sure!

Tried to order food from here. I wanted no feta on my Baja box but their website says no substitutions so I tried calling. Was put on hold for over 15 minutes with no assistance. Tried calling from a different number but no answer. Decided to get dinner from elsewhere.

Vegan Report: These guys have some legit vegan food!! I walked by many times and just thought it was some fried chicken joint, but my bro found them on some list and we called in. They have a couple of legit (no change needed) salads and one box (think bowl). The customer service rep was hip, so we were able to order quickly. Good taste and fresh ingredients! Ah liiike!!! Pro tips: 1. The salads seem to have beans and berries, so adjust your order to taste. They gave me my salad no berries. 2. If you want your salad ready-to-eat, be sure to let them know so they can toss it with the dressing. Great work guys, Ill be back!!

Amazing salads, generous portions, excellent service, and the pumpkin pie was amazing! Highly recommend for a casual but classy lunch. This is the cardi salad with added avocado and chicken.

I got the Cardi 1/2 and asked for falafels as a add in, and I can comfortably say this was one of the best salads I ve ever had! The portions are generous, welcoming staff and sanitary environment. PICKLES?

Had the fried chicken sammy. It was expensive considering how small the sandwich was - but it was pretty good. I paid $15 but Id say that plate was worth $8.

Can t say it get s any better than those fried sammy chicken sandwiches.

Was skeptical going in, but their chimichurri sauce is delicious.

Really elegant feeling restaurant while also managing to be laid back. The food is fantastic! We were able to pick out the veggie options quite easily and it was both filling and satisfying! The service isnt the most attentive - we sat out on the patio during both our visits and weve had to either stand up to get someones attention or wait for long periods of time. Otherwise we enjoy the cocktails and the atmosphere very much and will be back!

Ive eaten Flock many times and loved it. This time we ordered for catering for a big family event at home. So AWESOME! Service was personable with great attention to detail - important because we have some allergies. Food arrived on time, beautifully prepped and presented in gorgeous, easy to use manner. The Rotisserie chicken was not worth it. They had me waiting on my order when it is there all along and the food overall was not worth it. The cardi salad was great. I would go back from their salads

Ordered pulled chicken sandwich, coop soup and crispy sweet potato fries. Fries didn t look like pictures, the fries were raw and hard. Everything else was good, just disappointed.

Ordered whole chicken. Chicken was kinda dry. I think they need to make some changes to improve the quality of the chicken. Haven t tried anything else yet but I doubt I ll come back. Until I see a review saying the chicken is soft and freshly cooked, then maybe I ll give it a try.

Try their chicken and waffles

Firstly, I will say that their food is very good. Its fresh, well seasoned and all of their sauces are great - everything from the Chicken to the salads. A significant change, however, is the size of their salads. They used to have a FULL and a HALF salad. For years, I would order their FULL salad because while it still cost me ~20 dollars, it was a good size and filled me up. Last month, however, they changed their sizes so there is just one size, for a very similar price to the FULL before. Unfortunately, this new size is just too small for the price. It is like snack size almost. Very delicious food, just too small of a portion for the money now.

Food was OK but they were missing most of the drinks we wanted to order and the atmosphere inside was cafeteria-like.

Such a nice restaurant, the food was great, and waitress was so nice a and friendly. Will definitely come back again!

Im pregnant and I struggle to find food that makes me feel good. I went here with family and boy was it delicious. I order 3 pieces of the breaded chicken platter and I added the mac & cheese. I also got a freshly made carrot and orange juice. Everything was very tasty. I had leftovers and it tasted great the next day. Thanks Flock for a great evening out.

First patio experience this summer post Covid and I could not be happier! West facing west so we had all the sun and shade we needed. $5 beers (am I dreaming?) which were refreshingly cold and went down so nice. Awesome staff/service and a great meal. Cant wait to get back there.

I visited this site after a recommendation and was pleasantly surprised. With Covid they had a great set up with sufficient spacing as we sat on the patio. We noticed they did a great job at disinfecting as patrons left in prep for new customers. Inside did not appear to be open for seating yet. They only seemed to have one server working at the time named Takia though. This was surprising because there was a decent flow of customers that she was handling by herself. We sat and watched as we ate and great job to her because I dont know how she did it!! She was very pleasant and attentive to all customers under the circumstances. I ordered the Baja Box that she recommended with a side of fries while the person I was with ordered the chicken with mac and cheese and roasted sweet potato. Price point is great!!! Even for the drinks as this place had a small bar where you could get an alcoholic beverage. The food was very tasty and I was so happy with my selection. The fries were sooo good with the perfect amount of salt and crisp on them. I tasted the roasted sweet potatoes and they would have been better if they were just sweet potato fries so I didnt like them. I also tasted the mac and cheese that wasnt too bad either. Chicken I already knew to be tasty as I had the chicken at a different location in the past and I just love their flavoring. All in all, my first dine in experience with Flock was a great one and I will definitely recommend this restaurant to others. Thank you to Takia for the excellent service.

Sweet potatoes were half raw and the chicken had a funny smell to it. I ordered through doordash and had to submit another order because that wasnt happening. Its a shame as they seem to have a good concept but the execution was poor. Save yourself the trouble and just order a roasted chicken from Cumbraes.

Service could be faster and more attentive, but Ive never eaten anything here that I didnt love. I wish I could afford/had the time to eat here more often because its so good and the food doesnt leave you feeling like you just ate a pound of lard. When I used to be vegetarian this was like the only place I would order from on Uber Eats. The chicken is fall of the bone moist and FLAVOURFUL, these chefs know their way around a rotisserie. The macaroni and cheese wasnt too salty in the slightest and had the perfect amount of cheese and creaminess. Their bowls are what I get more often, and for a reason. They put all other salads and power bowls to shame, they are really that good. However, the restaurant seems understaffed sometimes, like the staff arent as attentive as they could be because theyve got their hands busy with other duties.

Great service. Great food. Started with a chicken broth and then moved on to gnochii woth a side of coleslaw. They have a variety of wine as well as fresh juices to choose from. My friend had rotisserie with sweet potato fries. The sauce that came with the fries was amazing and our server suggested it. Overall it was a good experience.

This Restruant is fantastic. I went with my buddy Matt Smith, we had the eggs Benedict and the chicken and waffles. They were both perfect. The Decor is warm with comforting music and a chic atmosphere. Our server Alicia was fantastic. She made our dinning experience special and her food recommendations were spot on! Defiantly will be back for the food, atmosphere and the service. Try the key lime pie!

Went there around 3 pm when it was almost fully empty. I was relaxed and not on a rush but well... Bad service and so so uneventful food is what this spot is about. Yes, is a nice room with a fantastic terrace in one of my favourite streets in Toronto. Leave the rotisseries to where they belong. I just order a sandwich, was small, uneventful food, not particularly with flavour, the chimichurri I order on the side was the first flavourless chimichurri I ever tasted (was it chimichurri in the first place?). When I saw the size of the sandwich, I wanted to order a side but the waitresses disappeared into nothingness as they did all along this episode so I concentrated on well, this snack (which was my breakfast and lunch) will bring me to dinner without fainting and gave up on the idea of ordering anything else... It took I believe 45 minutes to an hour to be ready... Because the order didnt printed back in the kitchen... Well, no excuse. Bad unfriendly cold blooded service and bad food. If you enjoy a cute room with bad food, is the perfect spot. Ill keep buying my rotisserie chicken from Meat Department :)...

I went twice in two weeks. The first time, I had the quarter chicken with sweet potato wedges at the TGH location. I prefer Swiss Chalet quarter chicken. This time on Harbord, I had the fried chicken sandwich and it was a home run. Delicious and crispy batter, moist chicken, crunchy slaw, its a worthy competitor for PJ Clucks.

Walked in for a takeout order at 4:16pm. Walked out at 4:46pm with takeout order. It took the kitchen 30 minutes for a take out order only to have the wing of the bird burnt. ITS TAKE-OUT NOT TAKE-LONG.

Worst Attitude of the waitress!

Tried to call ahead several times to order takeout but phone was not being answered. Discovered upon arrival that it was left off the hook. Price for half chicken meal was 3 dollars more than the listed $19 on the website menu. Total price was $26 dollars for half chicken and one side. I think it was supposed to come with coleslaw but they forgot. My side of corn was mediocre. Salad or vegetable side would have been great. Pepper sauce was fine. The chicken was pretty good but way too expensive imo. I think the menu is overpriced but will give it a second try and adjust my review if I have a better experience.

Great food (we had sandwiches and burgers) with a relaxed atmosphere. Not cheap but beautifully decorated. Interesting selection of fresh juices and cocktails too

Either I hit a bad night (Thursday just before the holiday long weekend) or their front of house isnt being well supervised. I sat outside on the patio (alone - 4 other tables occupied.) After a salad first course, brought in reasonable time, it took almost 45 mins to get a simple main course (one plain grilled chicken breast and two standard sides -- small cold salads.) I was reading and happy enough for half an hour (who doesnt like a Toronto patio in patio weather?) but in the next 15 minutes the light declined, no waiter appeared, and when one did it wasnt mine. I called to them and asked for my server, who came immediately, then went inside to check. My main course came out within 3 minutes - dryish and a little less than lukewarm. The explanation I got was that an unexpectedly large number (4) of takeout orders had come in that evening and we dealt with those first. Looks as if either my order sat, ready but unserved for quite a while, or, more likely, was hastily microwaved and brought out after the rush. (I was told they cooked the grilled chicken earlier in the day, then reheated it before serving). That, the ordinariness of the grilled chicken (Nandos or any decent churrasco would be better, juicier and hotter), the Harbord St. price, and the grim light on the patio after dark (harsh street lights only, no candles) made for a discouraging evening. The waitstaff were perfectly friendly and conciliatory -- but scarce, and not covering well. I told them Id have liked at least an earlier please wait acknowledgement. This is the third time Ive eaten here in a year, the other times with parties of three or four. Every time something like this has happened - either forgotten orders or a long wait. I have to conclude that Flock is being run (in the evening, at least) not as a fashionable midprice Harbord eatery, but as an expensive takeout with incidental table service and poor front of house coordination. Pity, because the salads and vegetables are intetesting and tasty, and the other reviews say the fried chicken sandwiches are good. (I now suspect thats because they have to be deep fried at the last minute).

I like that they have both healthy salads and chicken for those that love meat. I had the Boho Flock salad and it was a pretty big portion. It was a good salad overall but I would have liked more beets, peppers, tomatoes etc. , the bowl was 80% kale. I would come back to try their Rotisserie Chicken or their chicken sandwiches!
