Poi was incredible! He was so attentive, so funny, so sweet and so all around amazing. The food was great - at the end of it all, we pretty much tried 85% of the menu. Every dish was better than the next. Drinks were awesome. And really, at the end of it all, it was pretty affordable. Definitely recommend.

Had dinner here 07/21. It was my second time at this restaurant. The food is great! Recommend the Paella, shrimp a la guiho. They have a great cocktail menu as well as a number of non alcoholic options! Our server Poy was great! Very attentive! We mentioned it was our anniversary and he gave us Pastel de Natas on the house! This place is great, lots of variety to share! Good for a group! Will be back!

The good: the interior is beautiful The bad: the moment I walked into this place at 6:30pm and saw nobody else here I should ve known better. Sand in clams Way Overcooked octopus came out half burnt. Sold out of more than half the items on the menu??? Server was very polite but overall quality just wasn t it. I really wanted to enjoy this place but unfortunately I wouldn t recommend, or be a return customer.

The food was very good (had the clams, paella & octopus main) but what truly made the night special was the exceptional service from our server, Poi. His cocktail recommendations were spot on, and his friendly and attentive demeanor made us feel right at home. We were seated away in a room but never felt unattended. My husband threw me a surprise birthday party at this location. The atmosphere is beautiful I loved the decor. Though it ended there. Super unfortunate. There was only 2 events happening here this day our party at 5pm and another party at 7pm. First we were told we couldnt pick 2 items from the mains which left our party with no chicken or steak option because they are being reserved for the party coming after us... Ummm excuse me? That is absolutely outrageous. You should have just told us youre out. Then the food slowly.. Emphasis on slowly starting coming out.. My clams first bite and I had a mouth full of sand... Sent it back and the server told me the kitchen said this is how it came... Ummm Ive had clams.. Made them before.. If you dont properly wash them with water and salt your clams will be gritty. While dessert was coming out one of my friends was still waiting for her main? How does that make sense... Ohh then dessert.. Usually this cannot fail.. But it did! We had ordered the bolacha Maria it had no flavour very dry.. & the pastéis de nata horrid.. The custard tasted old. We all took a nibble and left it aside. The rest of my party also had complaints.. Its so sad... Going at this rate this restaurant will not make it. Unless I knew this place has taken a massive turn from kitchen to wait staff I will not return.

We went for my friends birthday and If I could give 0 star I would. Food was terribly bland, service was terrible, nothing was spiced Portuguese style and even the sauces that should ve come out with the entrees didn t come. It was an empty restaurant when we went and the food service was slow and the server was unsure about the menu as well. Would not recommend at all.

Came here for dinner last night and it exceeded our expectations by far. The food was amazing. We had cod fritters which were a special, and they were perfectly fried with a thin crisp outer layer and a great texture inside. We also ordered the clams which came in a fantastic broth. The branzino was fully deboned, presented beautifully, and perfectly cooked. And we especially loved the seafood rice, again all of the seafood was cooked to perfection, it was extremely fresh, and the rice was super flavourful. We also had a Portuguese white wine that we loved, and our service was really great too. Prices were also extremely fair! Lately all the new restaurants in Toronto are charging $30+ for apps and $50+ (often closer to $70) for mains, so this felt like a steal. Lastly, they seemed very cognizant of food allergies and dietary restrictions, the server asked us immediately about this and when she told us the special of the day highlighted that it was gluten free. Not relevant for us but I know important to many. We ll be back!

Excellent find in Little Portugal area and the food was delicious. We had some cocktails and tapas but no mains. We liked the vibe of the whole place and it was a nice touch to have Adam (not sure if he was the manager or chef or both) check in on our table towards the end. Great food, ambiance, service and beautiful original artwork throughout. Will definitely go back again to try more tapas and mains next time.

Flor 2 Tapas Bar is a great find if youre after an upscale vibe that wont break the bank. Ideal for a date night or but also a spot you could go to hang out with friends. The beef sliders were decent, but honestly, everything else I sampled on the menu on the menu was top-notch. The flavors were on point, and everything came out hot. I m not too into seafood but based on what I had I m sure seafood lovers will love that because there were many options. I didnt even have space for dessert I was stuffed! I have an excuse to come back and try other items and attempt a sweet treat at the end. Overall, if youre looking for a reasonably priced spot with a classy feel, Flor 2 Tapas Bar will not disappoint.

The food was amazing, as were the staff. The gin cocktails and sparkling sangria were a great start. For Tapas, we had the House Fries, Black bean salad, flaming chorizo sausage and Shrimp Rissoles. For main courses, we had Grilled Piri-Piri Chicken, Picanha Steak and Grilled Octopus. For wine, we had the Windstorm Cabernet Sauvignon, which was very good. Dessert was a coconut shaped chocolate shell, filled with coconut and passion fruit sorbet that was delicious. All the food was fantastic. The four of us had a great evening and will definitely be returning.

I cannot express in words how lovely this spot was. My boyfriend and I went here for a casual date night, not knowing what to expect and we were more than pleasantly surprised! Upon arrival, we were greeted warmly and seated quickly. This place is new so naturally the interior was beautiful. It was a really cool ambiance, perfect temp, not too crowded etc. Our waiter made sure we had everything we needed the entire night. He even topped up our wine without us asking AND gave us each another glass on the house! Now to the food: We love tapas restaurants and this definitely delivered! The portion sizes were very reasonable and all at a really great price. We ordered 7 dishes, some honourable mentions being the bean salad, the octopus tacos and the steak! Everything was cooked perfectly, flavourful and got to our table warm. At the end of the night, we were greeted by the restaurant manager as he made sure we had a good experience and we ended up having a really great conversation! Overall, this was an amazing experience and we would recommend it to anyone who wants to have a fancy and delicious date night.

Worst octopus tacos I ve eaten in my life. Mediocre service (served cold food at different times) and when I paid and gave 15% gratuity the waiter said that it s customary to leave 20% . I ve been a waiter myself in Canada and I can confidently say that 20% is definitely not the norm. Not only was the food and service below average but the scolding for not leaving 20% was beyond absurd.

Everything about this place is just okay. The vibe is disjointed - decor seems to suggest they are going for a fine dining feel but the menu looks like a diner menu and they play sports on the TV. The drinks - drinks were subpar. The vodka cocktail tasted like a vodka lemonade. For a tapas spot, in Toronto we ve grown to expect great mixed drinks. The food - Chicken slider were slices of over cooked chicken breast with a piece of cheese. No flavour. The jumbo shrimp was overcooked, had no seasoning and wouldn t come off the shell. The steak tacos were just okay (but have had better at Kelsey s). Service was fine. Overall overpriced for what you get.

Flor 2 Tapas was a wonderful experience. The food we had was delicious, presented beautifully and with a bit of flare! The atmosphere is lovely. It loses just a point because of the nightclub upstairs being so loud. The restaurant was quiet while we were in so I think on a busier night it wouldnt have been an issue. Our server was exceptional. A French man whose name I cant remember, but it begins with an I! Couldnt have been more attentive while not being overbearing. Gave good drink recommendations, was polite, friendly and would absolutely be a draw back to the venue for me. Vegetarian options: Not many, very few and far between. Dietary restrictions: Not many options when it came to gluten free, vegan. Shrimp was on the menu, but avoidable, and with a dairy intolerance you should be fine Wheelchair accessibility: Main entrance was not wheelchair accessible. Didnt see another entrance.

I celebrated my birthday here last night and can I just say it turned out to be a night to remember because of the service we received! They gave me a separate room with all my guests, the set up was beautiful I did not expect all that! The food tasted amazing, I loved the picanha steak and black bean salad if you go you have to try those both!!! This restaurants service is unbeatable, the best service I ve literally ever received in Toronto. I ll be back soon!

Absolutely amazing place! From the food to service to ambiance, I would definitely recommend! The food was amazing!!!! I cannot get over the Octopus soft shell tacos, Picanha steak... and their expresso martini was just *chefs kiss*. Also dont skip out on the Walnut Brownie... honestly still dreaming about it! As a vegetarian, Portuguese cuisine is not my first choice. I m usually picking at the vegetables in the middle of the seafood. Flor 2 was a pleasant surprise! There were 3 vegetarian tapas for us to choose from, all decent: tofu tacos, fries, black bean salad (which we put in the tacos!), and the cassava from the crispy medley. I was also very happy to see they served white port wine, which I devoured! Would return for it! I wouldn t say the food is the best I ve had, but the prices are certainly the best I ve seen on College St. For 3 tapas split in two and a port wine, i paid approx. $24. The staff, service and ambience was another highlight from the night. It s a big space with some really beautiful art and decor. They were friendly, interactive and perhaps most importantly, they were in no rush to dismiss us or push the bill on us after we were done for the night! Only until closing, which is understandable Thanks Flor for a good experience!

Beautiful space, great music, reasonable prices for portions and quality. As other reviewers have mentioned, the concert venue above the restaurant is quite loud and disruptive, at least where we were seated.

We came here for a birthday, and I can honestly say it exceeded my expectations. Some things on the menu were a little price exaggerated (chicken wings and shrimp) but everything else was super fairly priced. The Sangria was amazing, the alheira ravioli was superb, the octopus tacos and tartare are a must have. A few of us got the pichana which was cooked perfectly and tasted amazing, but the roasted potatoes were still hard and undercooked. I have been to a few Portuguese fusion tapas restaurants, this is definitely number 2 on my list. I would definitely recommend this restaurant and will come back.

Mediocre food. Service was terrible the waiter kept interrupting us the whole night to remind us he needed the table by 8pm even though the restaurant was basically empty. I really regret coming to this restaurant. It ruined our vibe for the evening. Was excited to come to Flor 2 but unfortunately we didnt have the experience I hoped for. Service wasnt great, it took a while for them to clear up our empty dishes. Food was OK. The octopus tacos has too much sauce and not enough octopus. We ordered the ravioli special and it came with 1 single ravioli. The only thing I thought was note worthy was the Picanha steak. Everyone enjoyed that dish. Prices are decent compared to your typical Toronto restaurant.

We came here to celebrate my daughter s 19 th birthday. The service was excellent, staff and manager was attentive. Food was great, though the menu is not big. The lamb was soft,the steak was perfectly done, the tofu taco was great. The Ravioli was a hit , my daughter ordered two of them. She loved it. The brenzino was delicious as well. We were not rushed or pushed to order. We had a comfortable time to enjoy the food. I wish I had taken more photos of the food but we were busy celebrating.

The decor is really nice, the music was fun, and the food was great for sharing. Some of our favourite dishes were the octopus tartare, chicken sliders, and housemade focaccia.

We had an amazing night at Flor 2 Tapas bar last night. I was reminiscing with my wife how the space used to be Mana Lounge and how the new owners have adapted it beautifully to fit the new restaurant. The food was fantastic! Expect Portuguese staples like rissois de bacalhau and rissois de camarao (Cod and Shrimp croquettes), Chouriço à Bombeiro, Pasteis de Natas, and of course the chicken. But my favourite dishes were probably fusion dishes --> tacos! Oh and dont sleep on the picanha steak which is your Brazillian flavour on the menu. Overall, a fantastic experience and well be going back. And thank you for the chef for clarify it was morcela on the menu :)

Flor 2 Tapas boasts an absolutely gorgeous interior and a similarly gorgeous set of tapas and drinks offering that will make your mouth water. Whether its your craving for steak, or your craving for seafood, Flor 2 Tapas is an elegant restaurant serving Portuguese and Mediterranean sharing plates with a bigger focus on seafood. It may be a little difficult to find, but it is located in Little Italy on the basement level of the Axis Club and is the sister location to Flor de Sal.

It was an amazing experience for us at this restaurant. I love the foods, service is top-notch. They even gave us 2 glasses of red wine for my girlfriend s birthday. Definitely will come back for the steak!

The food was amazing, everything tasted incredibly fresh and high quality. Prices are very good and the service was excellent as well. Our server was kind and patient with us when we were asking questions about dishes we did not know about and explained everything in great detail. Absolutely recommend!

The tapas selection is a journey of taste and innovation with strong Spanish and Portuguese inspiration. Highly recommend the octopus tacos. Absolutely to die for, while everything was truly delicious. We also had the Piri Piri Marinated Chicken Sliders and the Picanha Steak. Finished off strong with a couple espresso martinis along with the Espresso Crème Brûlée and the Warm Miniature Pasteis de Nata. Absolute musts. Hey Vic, Hope youre reading this. Amazing job and an amazing space. We will be back.

Flor Dois Bistrô was a true delight, from cozy atmosphere to delicious Mediterranean tapas and great main course. We had a lovely time with friends and highly recommended the Bistro. One of the nicest experiences in a long time and we will definitely return.

Incredible cuisine, incredible atmosphere, incredible staff. The moment you step inside Flor Dois it feels as if you have been transported to a quaint restaurant in Western Europe. I ordered the Portuguese Medley, Mushroom Tasting, Creamy Escargot, Grilled Octopus and Sizzling Piri Piri Shrimp. For dessert I ordered the Flor Dois Sampler. The dish portions are generous and the ingredients are very fresh. The presentation of each dish was thought out and complimentary to the dish. This is a College Street (and Toronto) gem!

A new restaurant in Little Portugal. Great place for an intimate meal or for groups and sharing. Dishes are appealing and appetizing. Flor Dois has a cozy feel with brick ceilings and vibrant artwork. Live music was on point. Looking forward to revisiting and experiencing this great new restaurant.

Recently had the pleasure of enjoying the experience that is Flor Dois. Tucked away in a secluded area you wouldn t quite know was there, if the large blue antique doors didn t catch your eye. Every element from the interior, the lighting, plate wear and cutlery seems to be beautifully thought out together to create an amazing atmosphere- along with kind and knowledgeable service, and food that is bar-none. The menu itself seems to be just the right size, to include something from sea, to land to sky- ensuring to incorporate something for everyone. The tapas style makes for great sharing, and by creating smaller plates it s almost as though the flavour is enhanced that much more. Every element seemed to create an umami that is hard to recreate. The Portuguese medley is great for sharing, but the show stopper is definitely the grilled octopus. Truly proves that less is more, with minimal seasoning but absolute perfection in the cook that melts in your mouth and yet has the perfect stickiness from the grill. The time and care really shines through in everything about this place, including the genuine conversations manager Tarik has with each table throughout the night. It s not often I am this impressed and Will most definitely be back soon!

Fine dining & luxurious interior, perfect date location to impress, live music also available. The food is on point, delectable flavours in the Mediterranean style. Warm atmosphere, excellent for groups & couples, with dinning rooms for privacy, exceptional if you want to carry on a conversation or a romantic evening. No dress code, but with the elegant environment dressing up fits in. The Tapas are well seasoned & cooked to perfection, prices reflect the quality. The hosts seated us quickly, the bar makes great drinks, the servers are helpful & gracious, very attentive. Parking available on the street meter or lot parking. Location under the Portuguese cultural center.

Had a birthday dinner for 16 people on Saturday night. Its a new restaurant that opened a little over a month ago so it was not that busy on a Saturday night, but I have a feeling the word will get out pretty soon and it will fill up fast. Great small plates & tapas. Everything I ate was delicious. From the warm chorizo bread and warm olives, to the not so chewy at all octopus and the crunchy, yet gooey deep friend halloumi cheese - it was all super tasty. Wait staff was extremely attentive and the meal was not overly expensive per person. Id highly recommend this place for anyone looking for a fine dining tapas joint on college. Only knock on the place, which isnt really their fault, was the BASS coming from the Mod Club upstairs all night. Thanks for a great night Flor Dois!
