Fresh Kitchen + Juice Bar in Toronto

Ordered takeout soup of the week/day. It was literally 99% pinto beans, 1% seasoning (like straight from the can beans). The attendant who served me at the front counter also had a gives-no-shits attitude and moved so slowly she may have well been walking backwards. Why would a restaurant hire someone like this to work in the front I can t understand. Soup(Chili?) tastes as bad as it looks in the photo. Won t be coming back here.

needed to reach my day s quota for vegetables and this place was the spot! Cute patio, kind waitress, filling salads. Great place to go if you want to be a fit chickpea. Only thing was that our fries hit our table cold but they were kind to reheat.

Rohit served us with a dashing smile and a warm sense of hospitality. It was one of my girlfriend s and my first dates. She s vegetarian, and I m new to this lifestyle. The food was delicious, portions were more than ample, value excellent and the entire engagement was wonderful. Given this delightful experience, and the proximity to my place, we will be back.

Waited over 70 minutes after ordering to get food to my table today... BRUTAL. Hire more people ! I can understand if your busy for a slight delay... This was ridiculous ! We even had to ask for water. You can get away with this for so long.... before people will not return.

The happy hour menu has great deals. The ambiance is refreshing. No complaints about the service because the staff is usually attentive. Squash tacos, fresh hummus and date almond shake are our favorites from the menu.

Theyve really improved over the years. Brought my family here about 5 years ago, and they recalled the food being a little too healthy tasting. Brought them back this weekend and they also noted a remarkable improvement! It reached a good balance between healthy and decadent where even non-vegans can enjoy the meals! Ordered tonight & received little to almost NO tofu & tempeh in the clubhouse wrap I usually get... Im assuming the restaurant is running low or out? It should not be available to order if this is the case. The inconsistencies within this chain have been awful for years. Refunded my money through UberEats.

Food is delicious, the service is desperate. Made an order for take out and gave my name. 30 minutes later I m wondering where my order is. There are bags stacked on the counter and not one of the person who works there is calling out names for orders, I finally ask and the hand me a bag with my name on it and god only knows how long it has been sitting there. Next time I won t give my name or pay a tip.

On September 6th, 2024, around 1 PM, I went to pick up a wrap with my family and our dog. We planned to wait on the outdoor patio, as we had done before, but were approached by a short-haired staff member with a very unpleasant expression. She rudely informed us that the patio was closed and they didn t allow dogs. We ended up waiting outside the restaurant. The food was fine, but the service was extremely disappointing. A little more courtesy would have made all the difference.

The food here is of high-quality nutrition and well prepared. The highlight for me was the recent extraordinary follow-up by Lindsey Davilmar, of Fresh. As I need to monitor my diet very carefully for managing my chronic kidney disease, I wanted to know the exact amounts of the ingredients in a salad I purchased (the Eat Your Greens salad) at the Yonge and Eglinton location. On a daily basis I need to know my intake of potassium, phosphorus, protein and sodium. Therefore knowing the exact amount of ingredients in a menu item is extremely important. So I later phoned in to see if someone could help me. I managed to reach Lindsey Davilmar, who cheerfully and efficiently provided the information I was after so I could easily enter it into my nutrition app and therefore know the profile of the salad. Lindsey went the extra mile and provided me with the ingredients profile for all of the salads and bowls I was interested in from Fresh. Having all these Fresh offerings in my app means that I can conveniently and knowledgeably order from Fresh and not be chained to my own kitchen for meals. Bottom line: thanks to Lindsey s good-natured follow-up, most of my future spending at restaurants will be at Fresh. Great food and service! Dietary restrictions: The abundance of salads and bowls means that people that are gluten-free dairy-free have some good options. Same with those with a chronic kidney disease dietary discipline.

Good food and attentive service. I appreciated that they specifically asked about food allergies, which shows attention to detail. I had made a reservation an hour and half before arriving, and while the host did confirm my booking, he curiously asked if it had just been made. I found that odd after all, does it really matter whether the reservation was made two hours or ten minutes ago, especially if theres availability? That aside, the hostess who looked after us was wonderful and made our experience enjoyable.

I came with a group of four people to the restaurant and we had a reservation for a table inside. The staff graciously switched us to the patio when we requested it, as they had room. After we sat down it took quite a long time for someone to come over to give us water and inquire about our order. One of our seats was dirty so it was a bit of an unpleasant wait for one of us, especially with all the flies. But once our waitress came over she quickly cleaned up the mess. Our waitress was friendly, knowledgeable about the menu, and aware of allergies, which was great. To start, we had the Dragon Broccoli. Not worth it for the price. Some enjoyed the spice, but others found it bland. Consensus on dinner was that it was good. I had the cobb salad and enjoyed it. Someone else had the Buffalo Wrap and also agreed it was good. Plating on the wraps and the burgers left a little to be desired. The plate was too big for the meal so it slid around a bit when being placed at the table. Again, we had problems with the service when one of us asked for mayo (extra charge) and it took so long to come that we were basically done eating before it arrived. I personally found that our waitress was only quick when we were paying, where she quickly came over to check on us and see how we were doing. Fresh wouldnt be my first choice for a dine-in experience just based on the service. However, I would order takeout, as overall the food was decent.

Nice place for a perfect summer day. My server Aylis recommendation was watermelon quencher which was perfect! Their food has subtle taste, which is perfect for those days when you want to have something light and fulfilling

I visited Fresh Kitchen at Eglinton with my wife and we had a wonderful and delicious dinner. The main highlight was the Liquid gold latte including their dragon broccoli and squash tacos. We were taken good care by Adrian at the table who was very cordial and friendly and made sure we had a good evening at the restaurant. Came here with mom and sister for a brunch as it s one of my sister s favorite places . and it did not disappoint! Everything we got was delicious. I always get the protein tofu bowl from here and it is 10/10. I absolutely love it. The smoothies are also delicious. I was a bit hesitant ordering food from a vegan spot as a non-vegan, worried that the food would be a bit bland, but the food is incredible. I highly recommend trying this spot.

I experienced the worst service in this restaurant! We entered the restaurant, placed our order, and sat at a table to wait for our food. A few minutes later, a waitress approached us and asked if our order was for dine-in or takeout. She informed us that we couldnt sit at the tables if we had ordered takeout, though no one asked us this when we ordered. She then rudely asked us to leave, claiming there was no room for dine-in customers, even though the place was nearly empty. I will never visit this place again.

I frequently eat at all Fresh locations. The food is always good and nicely portioned. Took a while before we were served water. The drinks we ordered arrived before the water did. Unfortunately, when the servers changed shifts/tables, the customization I added to my clubhouse wrap wasnt there. I asked for no alfalfa sprouts and hot sauce instead of ketchup. The kitchen messed up on both. Im never a fan of alfalfa in the wrap because the flavour overpowers the other ingredients in the dish, leaving a grassy bitter taste. I believe the server we had before the switch is at fault since she didnt serve us water and didnt put in the changes even though she asked. The person after the shift switch was the manager, Rohan, and he was very kind and attentive with his service. Thanks again for your service, Rohan!

I went to Fresh Kitchen + Juice Bar to enjoy some happy hour snacks and drinks today. I really enjoyed my Big Green smoothie and onion rings! Rohit who provided the service to me is definitely one of the best! I would recommend anyone to Rohit for the best restaurant experiences! Soba noodles were way overcooked and mushy, tables were sticky, bathroom was dirty, malfunctioning and not stocked. And it seemed understaffed. All of these things point to poor management and lack of pay/compensation.

We visited this place with our friends. First off: it is a place you take your friends who are like minded, such as vegan food. The selection was superb. We had difficulty choosing one over the other. After the food arrived at our table, the first impression was that it was well put together, appetizing. The taste was phenomenal. We had a variety of food so that we can share each others choice and get a taste. What we liked: selection of drinks (not alcohol...!!) and the food (which, is the reason why one goes to a restaurant for...!). The ambience was nice. Our service was great with a smile on her face. She came and checked with us midway - twice, I might add - and she served us as if it was her home where she looks after her guests. All in all, it is a nice place. Highly recommended for Vegans. Vegetarian options: Tumeric drink with Ginger is highly recommended. Wheelchair accessibility: While we did not need the access but I saw it had access everywhere, including the wash room.

Wanted vegetarian food on a patio. We had great service from Jaqueline. She was friendly, knowledgeable and fun. We were seated at a lovely table on the patio; which is sheltered enough so you don t feel like you are eating in a parking lot and open enough to feel comfortable. The food was really good, our party had the cali burger, the BBQ ranch burger, a beach bowl and a favourite bowl and everyone loved their food. Good portions. I would definitely recommend Fresh for a good vegetarian/vegan meal.

Fresh is always a hit even amongst non-vegans. The patio is gorgeous and they serve super fast. I am vegetarian and even my omnivorous partner loves fresh. The brunch bundle and the daily happy hours are crazy good deals. Adrian is the sweetest! We see him almost every time we go and he has great energy and is super friendly.

The fresh brunch bundle is unbelievable value. Food is always delicious and the smoothies are so refreshing! My favourite combo is the Avocado Grilled Cheese with a Date Almond smoothie. Shoutout to Adrian for serving my partner and I so frequently!

I had lunch here with a friend, they had a great bundle deal for 2. I really enjoyed the Goddess Bowl. The waiter Adrian was kind enough to serve us!

The server had a really bad attitude, and I don t appreciate that kind of bad attitude. She was arrogant and rude, and it made the whole experience bad.

I love all the restaurant interior and patio design and Food !!! It s way better than Planta the vegan restaurant in downtown. They re just full of oil to create flavour. Here is much more delicate and delicious. Highly recommend. Food

The menu is all vegan and offers variety. Cauliflower bites was the best. The burger and the bowl are super nice.

Fresh offers good, clean food and makes it fun. They have been at it for years. If you want to feel good about what you are eating, Fresh is a great stop. Enjoy!
