Ate at this spot 2 days in a row since working in the area. Food is really really good! Had the jerk chicken, stew chicken and curry goat. Tony even gave me some of his scotch bonnet hot sauce. Large portions, rice and peas were perfect. Coleslaw was correctly wet and tasty. My favourite was the stew chicken.
Great food. Huge portions. Budget friendly. Friendly really sweet server.
I dont know how this place got so many good reviews. I got an oxtail yesterday and what a waste of money, time and product. It had no taste what so ever. Should of known better when there was alot of oxtail still available after 5:00 pm and no one else was in the store. One of the worst Jamaican restaurants in Toronto. Never again will I go there.
Great taste, value, and service. My new go-to jerk spot. Here's the lunch special. Tasty.
Excellent portions for the price. I got the medium $8.99 jerk chicken and was very tasty. Forgot to ask for ox tail gravy, so be sure to ask for that over the chicken or could be drier than your taste. Personally, Ritz still serves a bit more juicy/kicked up jerk chicken, but I was more than happy with my order here. They have lunch specials for $5.99 for any chicken dish and I will be sure to return for these! For the price, this is a really good meal!! Service is also kind!
The chicken soup is a lil weird with Okra but still good. The Kaldereta tastes like my mom’s! Weird pairing it with coleslaw tho.
One of Toronto's hidden gems, truly a diamond in the rough. Authentic tasting and price point is fair. The jerk chicken was really good along with the coleslaw. Rice and peas were good but the five stars are for the fried chicken which was the best fried chicken I've ever had. Will definitely be going back to try more, if only I lived closer.
I found my new favorite lunch spot on King Street. Super tasty jerk chicken with a side of slaw. Looking forward to tasting more on their menu!
Came twice both times closed.
Place is a gem. The food is sooooo good. Highly recommend the jerk chicken.
really good jamaican food
Love this place! Come here everyday
Such comforting and amazing food
Absolutely authentic & amazing food, service, and pricing. Hands down, my favourite place to eat in Toronto. I will definitely be coming here again!! There is love in this food.
I like to have rice n peas n gravy and its no problem : ) yummy coleslaw n plantains too!
Real tasty Jamaican food. Had a patty, jerk chicken, oxtail and curry goat. Everything was on point!
Very and nice people who S working there
Like the stew beef!
Slow cooked, delicious foods and friendly folks! Love this spot, it s a neighbourhood favourite.
Picked up a Jerk Pork Large for lunch Today. Friendly, courteous service. The Jerk Pork was tasty with a good size portion. Will be back again!
Friendly service & good affordable food. Its one of the few no fast food restaurants left on this strip so if you have a craving for some chicken curry or jerk chicken give this place a try.
Passed by this place so often and finally went in for a lunch special - jerk chicken, rice and plantains. Food was delicious and affordable. The staff were super friendly. Will definitely return to try other items on the menu
The chicken fell apart in your mouth and was juicy with an amazing flavor. Over the rice and veggies was perfect.
My new place for goat curry and jerk chicken. Sooo gooood. Staff are really nice and the place is very clean
This is the Jerk spot if youre in Etobicoke, its a no brainer for me and my new to go spot when I want some Caribbean food!
Jerk chicken was fantastic
To expensive for a low income area
Excellent selection, amazing tastes. Never disappointed.
Very nice place enjoyed the food very respectful owners and worker go there all the time
Good food
They have coffee
I usually drop through once a week for their delicious oxtail and king fish. Rebecca is an absolute sweetheart and always encourages me to try new things.
I don t know how they got such a high rating. Had the jerk chicken and it had no flavor and the chicken was either old or spoiled, because it had a weird taste. Was really hoping it was a gem I could visit regularly.
The food is tasty and plentiful although the price is a bit on the high side. I think the large is a pretty good portion but $12.50 (tax included) is more than I feel it should be. I think closer to $10 is more reasonable. The small is usually enough food, but again, it should be $7 rather than $8.50
Amazing food! The jerk pork is a must try and service is wonderful
Amazing spot, Jerk pork (first time ive ever had it) I had no idea pork could be so tender and delicious.
This is the real deal. Curry goat is amazing
Great food. Jerk pork was tasty.
Been here twice so far, had the city chicken, and the jerk pork. Both were great. Will be back again
The fried chicken is probably the best in the city. Jerk chicken, rice, and coleslaw were spot on. So good. Parkdale and liberty village, Im jealous.
This is one of those little mom and pop spots that when you find your so stoked about it Nicest people with limited seating and small tables so dont plan on bringing a lot of people here ... but ordering a lot of food would be worth it because its not only super tasty but priced very fairly for Toronto
