Its such a lovely place, great service, and the size of the burger. Whew. I ordered a veggie burger, and it was absolutely delicious, and worth having again. Thank you for your food and friendly service, Shiva. :)

Food is truly magnificent , and filling staff very friendly , they make you fell like your in a 5 star restaurant . I will be coming back real soon .

I recently had the pleasure of enjoying one of the best burgers I ve ever tasted. The patty was cooked to perfection juicy, flavorful, and seasoned just right. The bun was soft yet sturdy, holding everything together without falling apart. To top it off, the side of golden, crispy fries complemented the meal perfectly. Whether you re a burger enthusiast or just looking for a satisfying meal, this burger is a must-try. I ll definitely be back for another one soon!

Food Poisoning Writing this review at 2:46am December 18 because my husband got a serious food poisoning from your store. You just can t imagine how frustrating it would be when seeing your husband vomit more than 10 times and couldn t feel better. To be clear, on December 17 my husband didn t have any food in the morning before he came to this restaurant to have lunch with his friends then he keep feel worst and worst since the meal upsets his stomach all evening. I m calling Toronto Food Safety Inspection in the morning. Please stay away from this store.

First time coming here but the mushroom burger was absolutely delicious and the owner was extremely friendly Parking: Paid street parking in the front of the restaurant. It might be a bit difficult to find since it s Yonge street

Can never go wrong with grill gate, burgers are the best, sandwiches are amazing, Ive yet to try the pizza however which is next on my list. I used to visit the Richmond hill location, however this one opened near my house recently and I visited a few days ago and it definitely did not disappoint! Got about 5 tables to sit in if you want too or just do takeout. I definitely recommend to people who havent had this

This is the best place for an amazing burger in North York .

The burger was just delicious (had a spicy cheeseburger) both the patty and the bread was so good. Creates a very tasty experience. The only thing i can suggest is to add more side dish to the burger, such as onion rings or sweet potatoes etc. However the fries that comes with combo was also crispy and tasty)

Burgers were great, top notch. Service and atmosphere was great as well. However, they dont have a good selection of sides or appetizers. If you are interested tasty and filling burgers, this is the place. If you are looking for a north American burger experience with onion rings, shakes, and desserts, then this is not it. I had a great burger and thats what I was looking for. I will certainly come again and bring friends and family.

I can t say enough good things about this Grill Gate location at NorthYork! From the moment you walk in, the aroma hits you, and you know you re in for something special. We had tried their burgers and steak sandwich before which is highly recommended but this time we ve ordered their Pulled Beef Pizza combo which was so delicious, the crust is the perfect blend of crispy and chewy, and the toppings was fresh and generously applied. The staff is incredibly friendly and welcoming, making the whole experience even better. Hands down, the best pizza spot in town it s a must-visit for any pizza lover. They recently added live music, so if you re aiming for a relaxed, inviting vibe, enjoy it!

Had the Big Deal burger and it was fantastic! Just as we were finishing dinner, the live music began and added to the ambience.

While the service and presentation were great, we felt the food fell short of our expectations. We ordered the beef and chicken philly cheese sandwiches. They were presented well, but the filling and bread were too dry. It needed more sauce/cheese/flavour and more filling overall. Spent around $50 with drinks and didn t think it was worth it.

Amazing burgers. Nothing else to say other than incredible. The burger patty tastes like it s seasoned, something I find lacking in other burger shops. The Philly cheese sandwich is massive, even for a hungry person it s hard to finish. But my god, those Persian spices in the nest really elevate the flavor. 10/10

The best burger you can try in Toronto.

Dropped in to satisfy a burger craving over lunch. Ordered the Classic Cheeseburger over the Gourmet Cheeseburger, at the recommendation of the server. Great portion overall. Bun was warm and nicely toasted. Beef patty was a hefty portion with a slight crust from the flat top grill and was complimented nicely by crispy onions. Between the patty and sauce, found the flavour reminded me of a Kafta kabob, making for a unique and memorable burger. Can t wait to go back!

We absolutely love this place. The vibe and the food make it worth the trip from downtown every time. Their philly steak is an absolute must-try juicy, flavorful and definitely their stand out dish. We ve also tried the Pizza Mizza and the burger, which were also amazing! Highly recommend this place for anyone craving a great meal and a welcoming atmosphere!

Very generous portion sizes and the meat in their sandwiches is cooked perfectly! Very tasty. I usually order a sandwich with fries and then put the extra meat that overflows from the sandwich onto the fries. I m full after eating the sandwich so I take the fries home and get another meal out of it

Had the spicy mushroom burger, and it was amazing. There is something about the grill/smoky flavour to the cheese that adds a great depth. Burger was very saucy and filling/greasy, so not for the faint of heart. Great flavour on the meat too. Nice spice too; usually spicy burgers are underwhelming, but not here. The staff were welcoming and very nice.

I m really happy that Gril Gate has finally opened a branch near my house. It saves a lot of time and gas. As always, the food is delicious and of high quality, with excellent service. The owner is very friendly and kind.

I was disappointed to find out that they ve changed their recipes, and unfortunately, it was not for the better. The original Philly cheesesteak sandwich, which used to be one of my favorites, now comes on a loaf of breakfast toast instead of a baguette. The marination and ingredients have also changed, and the overall quality of the food has definitely dropped. While the staff were friendly and the service was decent, it s unfortunate that the food isn t what it used to be. This restaurant was one of my favorite Iranian chains, but if the quality stays the same, I won t be returning as often.

The food was good, but one of the staff was super unsanitary. She was working the register and kitchen at the same time, touching everything with just one glove! She was touching the fridge, menus, drinks, cleaning tables, touching the pizza board, and even the pizza she was serving with the same gloves!!! Major food hazard! I ve been here more than five times, but after seeing this, I don t think I ll come back again. Gloves aren t that expensive please change them more often!

Tonight we went to this amazing restaurant, it was incredible. I ordered a steak fillet sandwich, and my spouse ordered a pizza. The taste was excellent, and the restaurants atmosphere reminded me of Tehran. The staff were very warm and friendly. I really enjoyed it, it was a great night.

Best Philly steak Ive ever had

Pros: Great customer service, Nice presentation Cons: Very poor burger. The burger was falling apart because there was way too much mayo and lettuce. Taste was also really just passable at most. For a $20 cheeseburger I was expecting an outstanding burger experience. This is likely a $10 burger at most. My advice is lower the price of the burger to around $10, reduce the mayo and lettuce for more happy customers.

It was my first time in Grill Gate. I ordered mushroom cheeseburger and it was delicious! Every ingredient was fresh. Service was good! Place was clean and quiet. Parking is on street and we had to pay for it. I highly recommend this place if you want quality burger!

I really wanted to love this place given the high rating, but it missed the mark for me. Im struggling to understand how this place is rated so high. I do want to start off by saying the customer service was really great. I made a few special requests for dietary needs, and they triple-checked with me to make sure everything was correct and they were very friendly and warm. I appreciate that because thats not the experience at many other places! Now the food. Ill give the disclaimer that I am vegan and I ordered the veggie burger, which I understand is obviously not their specialty. The veggie burger had good flavour but was falling apart to the point I couldnt finish it. In their defense, this is the case with a lot of veggie burgers, but still not the best eating experience. My partner got the Philly cheesecake and said it was good (not amazing, but good), the portion was generous. He also said the bread was pretty good. The sides are really where things fell short. I got a salad, my partner got fries, and we had half of each. For a $20+ combo each, we were expecting better. The salad was iceberg lettuce with some croutons on top, and the fries were frozen (seemed like Cavendish) and hardly cooked enough. They were not crispy, but lukewarm and limp. If thats whats being offered, thats fine if its priced accordingly, but it was way overpriced for what we received. I dont want to drag anyone because I like supporting local, and its clear there are no bad intentions here. Maybe this is a style of doing burgers and fries that I dont quite get, which is okay. However, I felt the need to provide honest feedback so things may be improved. I cant speak to their regular burgers which I assume is what theyre known for, but while they have veggie options, I would recommend that vegetarians/vegans go elsewhere as the sides wont make up for it.

The best burgers in town

Fabulous burgers! The beef patty is chock full of beef flavour and feels like its fresh as it doesnt have that pressed, frozen texture. To top it off, the bun is the hidden gem. Lots of sesame seeds for added flavour and not that shiny, greasy potato bun thats popular at other places.
