Quality food here. Their shredded chicken and hainan chicken is amazing. No disrespect to great fountain (which is the most popular spot in the food court), because I like their portion size, but if we are talking about purely flavour and price, this place is so much better

Sure, the ambiance of a Chinese food court isn't white linen fine dining, but you're going exclusively for the food. I had a delicious bowl of laksa soup with a fried pork chop ($13.99). The soup was satisfying on its own but how can you resist a pork chop topping?! There was an egg, fish balls, fried onions, chili and gluten included to round out the bowl and two kinds of noodles underneath. The broth was homemade - they ask you to wait 20 min while they prepare it. Don't let the time discourage you -- the broth was rich and thick with lemongrass and onions. The shop keeper kept asking me if I really wanted it spicy -- but this 鬼佬 likes it spicy. The soup came with a cup of cold sweet tea. My dining partner had a bowl of beef brisket and tendon soup with a lot of noodles. The broth had good beef flavour, and a step up from pick-any-pho restaurant in the area. We had taken a walk down the food court earlier to grab a jian bing snack at YuanYuan so I had no room for dessert -- although the Macao-Portuguese sawdust pudding was calling my name. This little restaurant is definitely on our lunch radar from now on. Next time, if I don't order another laksa which is almost bound to happen, I'll get the Hainan chicken rice.

A bit of a hidden gem for sure. Wife found & suggested this place so I went and picked up something for lunch. Wife got the Hainanese chicken (which looks really good) but I, of course went for the beef. I couldn’t really decide so went for the tendon & brisket, but definitely looking to try the offal at some point as well. Service was good and friendly. We’ll be back to try other items on their menu for sure.

There are pictures of some of their menu items on the left in case you aren't sure what you are ordering. Beef broth was tasty, noodles were firm, and vegetables were fresh. If you request the chili paste oil, warning that it is quite a kick. Order comes with a cup of cold spiced tea. Refreshing on a warm day.

They are really slow. I ordered the pad Thai and had to wait for them to boil the noodles before frying. Also, all their offals are stored in separate bins because I think they were all cooked separately. So even the beef Offal noodle took a long time to assemble since they had to go into each bin. But the food is really good. The Pad Thai noodles had a nice bounce since they were boiled fresh. Each type of offal had the perfect cook. Their hot sauce is also a homemade garlic concoction. This place isn’t “fast food”, but if you order ahead, it is definitely good food.

I originally wanted to try a nearby competitor but was dissuaded by their long line. Super glad I gave HK Special Kitchen a shot instead because I was served the biggest, steaming hot bowl of laksa that can easily feed two people! It came with a generous amount of toppings including chicken, fish ball, egg, and tofu puff (the best topping bc it sopped up all the soup). The gentleman at the counter may seem a little rough around the edges but he’s actually super kind. Although it took a while for my order to be made, I can tell that the auntie really puts her heart into it and is meticulous with what she’s serving.

We tried out this food court restaurant for the first time tonight based on the positive reviews. I only post reviews if the restaurant is really good or really bad. Their food quality, portion, and price way surpassed my expectations. Just like what the other reviewers said, their food is deeeeeelicious! Oyster omelette - just excellent. Hand pulled hoinan chicken - chicken was moist, not over-seasoned, but I found the rice to be just average. I think I got accustomed to the oily rice from other restaurants. Pad thai - not your typical pad thai, made with glass noodles, very flavourful. Baked Portuguese chicken with rice - very authentic and tasty, chicken was very moist. HK style (fake) shark fin soup - the soup texture was too thick but the flavour is right. I would have preferred the meat to be shredded a bit more rather than the chunks. The pad thai and oyster omelette were my favourite tonight. You should call ahead to order. We called ahead and were told it would be ready in 30 minutes but we waited close to 45 mins. The chef and lady at the front were very friendly. Will definitely return.

Surprisingly good! Tried the House Special Handpulled Hainanese Chicken on Rice; Baked Pork Chop with Portuguese Sauce on Rice (no cheese); Pan Fried Fresh Oysters Omelette on Rice & Chicken Pad Thai at this 港之味 eatery inside the Dynasty Centre Food Court in Scarborough. The Hainanese chicken was very tender, the Portuguese sauce was not that spicy but was very aromatic with the pork chop. The Pad Thai was made with the glass noodles, which is not the traditional type of rice noodles that's in use with other restaurants. It had the special kind of sauce which really made it tasted like the Malaysian or Thai flavour. The oyster in the omelette was made with chopped pieces from bigger size oyster. All the food items were executed well and tasty. Wouldn't believe an eatery in the food court could have this high standard of food quality. (Be aware - their food may have MSG.)

Echo what the other day, the Hainan Chicken Rice is super tasty. The chicken was tender and juicy that paired well with the different sauces, while the rice was well seasoned and complimenting. Also, the chicken to rice portions were well balanced and filling. I was able to comfortably have a last bite of chicken and rice. Lastly, the included ginger tea was both unique and refreshing. Do note that it is usually run by one person and maybe the occasional two, so expect to wait a little longer for your food.

This place is nice. They don t have a two storey menu list. Instead, it s roughly 30 items and reminds me exactly of the food stalls in Hong Kong. Seems like a husband and wife team. It s $9 (including tax) for a boneless ginger chicken rice. It s roughly two dollars more than the other stalls, but the amount chicken you get it is well worth it. The brown savoury sauce makes the rice so fragrant. Feb 2023: Price is now 9.99 + tax for the dish They provide a sweet ginger tea drink instead of soup. It is very refreshing and perfect if you re trying to eat healthy! UPDATE Feb 2023: I had their brisket noodles. Pretty darn good... Upgraded to four stars. Ill just avoid rice dishes for now. June 2023: Panfried chicken with minced meat taiwan style was pretty good too

I heard that the Hainanese chicken rice here is delicious, so I stopped by to try it today. Looks good! Ginger flavored chrysanthemum tea, my first time drinking it, it was pretty good! The chicken is delicious! Smooth and chewy , with no bones . I always prefer ginger and scallion. This ginger and scallion is quite spicy. I like it. It should be freshly made to have this effect. The rice is chicken oil rice, which is delicious but too sticky. Overall, you can feel that the chef has done it with intention . Worth coming again.

They dont have hundreds of items for you to choose from because the chef lady only presents her best her best dish. I normally just order whatever she recommends for the day , so I never need to worry about what to order. Shes very passionate about making food and the taste is phenomenal comparing to her competition at the same food mall. Every once in while she will surprise you with some special desserts off the menu. You may spend $2 more for the meal, but at the end of the day its well worth it.

See the people introduce this food court provider from youtube, say it specially on big bowl noodle with vary meats there, the problem happen when I order, 4 items need to change with my 6 order foods ( may be covid-19 and not busy on business, insuffent food type ), I told the store owner I dont eat beef or any soup broth about it because I am allergy it, when I home to start my dinner, dark color soup and full of beef smell, just give up the soup and eat the noodle and meat, holly...I need to throw out over half of my noodle and dish, terrible they are still raw and hard to chewwww, later an hour start to diarrhea, they dont know how to cook, should be the chef gone.

I tried the Hainanese chicken rice house special (the more expensive one) and I have to say it was pretty damn tasty. Soft, moist and flavourful, it was great! It s one of my favourite dishes in general, so finding a place that does it well is amazing! The portion was super filling and I can t wait to go back to get it again! It s a takeout food court stall but that doesn t mean it can t get 5 stars for tastiness =)

My friend raved about this new eatery located inside a foodcourt. So I gotta try their signature boneless ginger chicken today and it was delicious! It comes with steamed rice or rice noodles. To my surprise, it comes with a cup of sweetened ginger drink instead of the standard tea. I cant wait to try their soup noodles!!

Truly a hole in the wall inside the Dynasty Centre food court. Call it what you may but this Gem of a find does a really good job with the baked rice. Nice flavourful fried rice base with the perfectly cooked chicken and savoury sauce topped with a cheese topping seared to perfection. All the flavours blend perfectly and I especially enjoyed the little bits of pineapple to mix it up and ties everything together. Will come back soon to try out the soup noodles as they also look super yum
