Most strangest restaurant you’ll ever go to surprise the Toronto police don’t check up on this shows what kind of city this is
Constant fighting and yelling, a lot of strange activity in and around the bar. Very obvious drug dealing/ using all around, and a few stabbings and shootings coming from this place.
Karaoke night. Wayne and his partner hosted...it was someones birthday, so fairly busy. But folks were socially distanced and everybody was having a great time.
Traditional fare without the fanfare. Tender Braised Sweetbreads Mirepoix served with a hearty export ale was a simply devine start to our meal. Generous platter Chateaubriand would make François-René blush. Insist on the Omelette norvégienne, not on the menu and it takes time but it is worthy of the wait. Enjoy a snort of brandy merdique in a toast with the locals while it is prepared. Magnifique!
Came here with a group of friends, one of who suggested this place. You have been warned that this is a slightly sketchy dive bar. If you already had a couple of drinks beforehand, it would make it a bit easier. Cheap drinks though - that's the bonus
Cool owner & staff, relaxed, casual, jukebox, pool table, great crowd of people, well maybe excluding "B",LOL, has patio, no smoking policy, "GREAT" Breaded Chicken fingers, large portion @ fair prices, outdoor parking, live bands periodically, cheapest beer prices, Wheelchair Accessible ,Snack Bar, Sports T.V.,Video Game,close to Howard Johnson if just in town, Mins. of The Queensway.
This is my "hangout". May look sketchy to some but I feel at home in this little dive. I don't recommend any of the food but the beers are cheap and the patrons are "real" people. Not part of the hipsters running Parkdale. This is PARKDALE at its finest. :-P

Ever want to live in a movie where you are lost and enter a bar filled with strange character not knowing what will happen next. Then this is the place to be.

Real cheap dive bar. Place is as expecting but whats really not acceptable isnt the restaurant itself but the crowd of loudmouthed morons it attracts.
Casual down to earth vibes, reasonably priced drinks. Patio in the summer and no yuppies in sight. What more could a girl ask for?

Local dive bar... Basically contributes to grime in an otherwise very gentrified area. Remnants of Parkdales past that lives on, seemingly for now.
