Though the food smelled like food smell added in it but tasted rotten when we ordered . It was a nightmare for me and my family to consume food from this place. Beware of ordering from this place. We ordered from DoorDash the beef tehari was so soogy but attar was added so that people won’t understand the smell. But we consumed and had food poisoning next day. Same for walima roast the layer over it was stuck like a magnet only a food cooked 5 days before would be like that. Can be reasonable but not consumable for sure.
Visited Khazana Queen recently and loved the experience! Their Bangladeshi-style Chinese food is a unique and delicious twist. The chicken fries were crispy and perfectly cooked, and the rice was flavorful and well-seasoned. Together, they made a satisfying meal that really hit the spot. Definitely recommend if you’re in the mood for something different yet comforting!
Amazing atmosphere with delightful and flavourful dishes of authentic Bengali cuisine! The best restaurant to taste delicacies of Bangladesh in Toronto! Would definitely recommend to try it out.
We decided to try out Khazana Queen after hearing rave reviews from Facebook groups and friends alike. With my uncle visiting from Ohio, it seemed like the perfect opportunity to check it out. We ordered Beef Tehari, Kacchi Biryani, and Beef and Chicken Korma as sides. Unfortunately, none of the dishes lived up to our expectations. My main disappointment was with the Kacchi Biryani—the meat was subpar, and I didn’t feel compelled to take another bite. The Tehari, which came highly recommended, was also a letdown. It was overly mushy, and the distinct flavor of mustard oil, which everyone raved about, was barely noticeable. On a positive note, the lady who served us was very pleasant, so I’m giving the experience two stars overall.
We absolutely loved their service and food. We did out anniversary dinner there with some friends and they allowed us to have a buffet of our fav foods. Excellent service and that good old taste of food from Mimi apa. Loved every bit of it. Thanks for hosting us.
Don't go for the fake review, the food is good for sure and place is also beautifully decorated and clean and nice. The fuchka shot is best in Toronto for sure, but the chinese quality is decreasing day by day and price is also increasing as well. We ordered extra shrimp and only for 6 shrimps it was $20, for two shrimp plates we paid $40 which was very unreasonable. And also the wait time is way to long which makes people impatient. I would suggest them to give faster service and also reduce the price otherwise people will stop going.
I would say this restaurant in Bangla Town is an upscale restaurant with great ambiance and top-quality Bangladeshi cuisine. The owners are very caring; you will feel like you are a guest in someone's home, being served delicious homemade dishes with utmost care.❤️
Ordered Goat Tehari(Haiji Biryani) , Fuchka and Chinese combo . Food was average . Chinese combo was best of the lot . Tehari was overpowered by mustard oil and low quality rice and meat .No where even close to Haji Biryani . Service was subpar and very slow paced . Wash room experience was horrible . Back door to the wash room completely blocked by full of Groceries . You had to step over to goto wash room . Stairs to the wash room was dirtiest ever . If you want a good family restaurant experience I wouldn’t recommend. One good part was that the server had always smile on his face.
Vinnie was very nice
One of the best kachi biryani in Toronto. A very clean atmosphere. Oh, try the burhani
The kacchi biryani was very tasty
This is the worst service i am having in canada. Waited for 40 mins and then they are saying we don t have the food so we are making it again so i have to wait extra 30 mins. Why do restaurants accept order if they haven t got particular food we are asking for? Such a ridiculous service.
Great food, and very friendly staff!
Food is really good
Their duck kichuri and shahi morog pulao is a must try! Uncle and aunty are always very welcoming and makes us feel like home
Haji Biriyani (mutton) & Chiken roast polao was very delicious...and good quantity.
They are very friendly and welcoming. The best ones in Bangla Town
Best tehari in town! A must try!
The environment is comfortable, the service is very friendly. The weekend special mutton kacchi is tasty but they offer very limited servings, might call first before you drop by. The fuchka is good and different from other places. Tried Tehari two times and it was not consistent. The Chinese platter was also decent.
Best Tehari and Fuchka in town .
Best Kacchi in Toronto
After enjoying thoroughly few repeated catering orders this is our Second visit right to the restaurant in a week. Our friends n relatives, every one just loved the super delicious n yummy food (A to Z), appreciated the all round atmosphere and the great hospitality from the team. Wish all the best to Khazana Queen for a roaring success and confidently recommend to anyone for a remarkable experience here. Thanks.
I am writing to share my recent experience at your establishment. Unfortunately, it did not meet my expectations. The service was notably slow, with a wait time of 45 minutes for our food. We ordered the tetheri and chicken biryani, but I found that both dishes tasted quite similar, making it difficult to distinguish between them. Additionally, the quality of the meat was disappointing, as it seemed to be of lower quality. Given this experience, I am unlikely to return. I hope this feedback is helpful for your future improvements.
I have been ordering from Khazana Queen for long time. Their price, cooking and Qty is so good and make me to give regular order. Almost every week. My kids they like their foods. Always fresh and never have face any food problem. Food always fresh and make happy customer. Owner of Khazana Queen take care of his customer personally and always makes sure the quality have no compromise. Any one and their family can try their food and you will not disappointed. I reccomend Khazana Queen to my freinds and family and become a Happy Customer. Keep up the great work Khazana Queen
Old Dhaka tahari no test same like our country, no same tahari colour, same like fried rice.....
I stopped to get a little takeaway, the saleswoman was very cold and seemed not to want to waste her time. I had to pay to go pee, which means it wasnt easy to concentrate on ordering. Outside of meal times of course but very bad experience with a lot of waiting.
The food was good, and the taste was amazing. However, they constantly change their prices, which is really confusing. Additionally, the service and communication were terrible.
Best Kachchi Biriyani in Canada. I have never tasted such good biriyani in Canada. Every thing that I tasted was excellent. The waitress was cordial and helpful. I had an amazing experience. Only note will be I have seen this trend for Bangladeshi restaurants the moment they get popular the quality of the food drops. I hope they can maintain it.
A great place to take out or dine in. Great service and food was very tasty. Had the best fuchka and tea in town.
Awesome mouth watering and super tasty food.
We had our Anniversary Dinner at Khazana Queen. It was awesome.
great experience we enjoyed alot .The chef sanjeev kappor was very nice .
Try the duck bhuna and khichuri. It s spicy, flavourful and just too freaking good. The food also tasted very fresh.
Nice
last time I order twice . The beef tehari was good But today ,i got the food rice was totally over cooked . i only have only 3-4 spoons . i had to throw this. Food : 1/5
The ambience is cozy and inviting. I had their famous fuchka shots. I just loved the presentation, and the tamarind sauce deserves 5 star.
Takes ages to serve. Also biryani rice and tehari rice were the same. How come both dishes rice is similar
Amazing staff and great treatment. Food quality is pretty decent and well maintained.
Well its my first time eating out I was informed that they cannot take my order as they are attending to another customer having a big party. They should have hung a notice in that case that they would be not be taking so-called common customers. Not sure if I am missing something, is the business changing paying specific attention to a few. I am kind of spellbound in todays experience.
Great hospitality, food and portions!
We casually entered for dinner at this location. They had an event going on but were open for diners. Ordered the kacchhi mutton biriyani and the portion were generous for two people. Even the pieces of mutton were decently big. Would highly recommend this place. The owner and the staff were very warm and gave us complimentary zarda Pulav and gurer payesh. We had mango lassi too. I took one star away from service coz we didnt see any high chairs for babies. Also, there is always scope for improvement! Wishing the owner all the best and keep up the good work!
We recently had a get-together of IBA batchmates at Khazana Queen. We ordered Bangladeshi food comprising fish curry, beef curry, vegetable, deep-fried eggplant slices, meshed potato and dal. The food was delicious, portions were large and service was excellent. All of us enjoyed the dinner thoroughly. If youre thinking of eating Bangladeshi food, try this restaurant. Youll not be disappointed.
Amazing Bengali spot! Food was delicious, highly recommend the Dahl and the pani puri! Pilau is also very flavourful! Service was great, definitely check this place out!
Wow. Amazing Bengali cuisine. Highly recommend!
The fuchka was 9/10, but the Chinese combo was worse than any other Ive ever tried.
Please don t eat their mash potatoes I forgot the name but that causes me very sick to the point I had to go to the hospital they said it was good poisoning and it was very awful I ve been to the washroom 5 times a day! This is so bad I feel like they don t clean their supplies. NEVER EVER AGAIN I SWEAR
Follow @bredgyeats for yummy food pictures! Dum Briyani - Long grain rice thats coated in a delicious, savory and slightly fatty sheen of oil, and is cooked perfectly for a slight chewy texture, and you can feel the individual grains. Lamb potions didnt match the price and was small compared to the amount of rice, but was very tender but drier on some leaner parts. Rice has a slight tangy fruitiness from the tamarind seeds, along with a melody of spices. Served with a hard boiled egg, potato and 2 slices of cucumber.
Yummy deshi food at a good price. Loved the beef sizzling in their Chinese combo and the mango lassi. They gave us complimentary dessert too!
We needed some lunch and the menu looked interesting. Won over despite the deserted look, we had an assortment of dishes. All were wonderful. Ive had lots of south Asian food but this saw my first time introduction to Bangladeshi food. So good. Eat here.
The food is unique and delicious. Keep the quality of the food that way, server always smiles.love it.In Shaa Allah see you again
Had lunch there today with bhaat-bhorta and beef bhuna plus daal. Everything was super yummy and in good portions. The place is also nicely decorated.
I thought their food was very good but after ordering today the food was so bad
I always order Hazir Biriyani from here. Trust me Khazana queen is serving the most authentic Hazir Biriyani in Danforth. The taste is just authentic. Im also a great fan of the Kacchi of Khazana queen, nowadays they prepare it only on the weekends. They really make this weekend kacchi in the authentic way, the taste is totally puran Dhaka-r authentic kacchi. Last but not the least, chicken fry and chinese combo of Khazana Queen is the most authentic Bangladeshi chinese food Ive ever had in Canada. I love the pricing of the foods of Khazana Queen which is cheaper than other restaurants but the quality and quantity is just great.
Absolutely loved the food that we had. Authentic Bangladeshi food and I ve been craving for it in Canada and I finally found my go to place.
The authentic food at this place reminded me of my home and of course my mom . The hospitality services by Satnam was worth appreciating. He made the naan available as per our preferences which was up to the mark. It is a must visit place.
If you want to enjoy authentic kachchi beriani in Toronto then you can khajana Queen. They are really good.
Their walima roast and kebabs are exceptional!
Brother is a very good person Bhabhis cooking is excellent. They represent as a good Bangladeshi should. I ate Tehari today Mustard oil Tehari is my favorite. Their service is innovative. Food quality 5 out of 5 and presentation was awesome. The owner is cordial and serves his customers with a smiley gesture.
Unfortunately a place i will never come back here the food was so bad specifically the kachi muton biryrani was so bad we couldnt eat at all waste on $22 the fuchka and borhani was okay you can say average the service was so bad too slow service went at 6 got our foods and 6.50 unbelievable late sad
The food was good. No complain about that. We ordered fuchka shots and daal puri. We wanted to taste more food but the restaurant was busy so we were told we have to wait more. So, had to leave. Though the server girl was good but the food came late. They should keep up with customers food order no matter how busy it is.
We tried the teheri. It was really bad. They should make it better. The flavor was quite bland. Disappointing. I hope they make it better for everyone.
I got a takeout. It was a mutton biriyani the picture I saw in the menu is completely different what I got. The rice is overcooked I dont know how they are running a buisness.
This is the worst place ever. Don t eat here unless you want to get food poisoned.
Food is super tasty and presented beautifully. Might I add that there fuchka is out of this world, iftar platters are the best I had in Toronto and the service was great!
Today in btn our shifting houses, we chanced upon this restaurant. And were bowled over by the staff service, ambience and food. Especially, a special mention to Sat am, who is super courteous, prompt and hospitable. We will for sure recommend this place to our family n friends. One Must try sabz biryani and paneer makhni
Great food and friendly staff
Food is amazing here , my go to place for Bengali mutton biriyani
I usually dont write reviews but i have taken extra efforts to let people aware about all the fake 5 star review this restaurant has. The food here is slap on the face of bangladeshi cuisine. They are ruining the image of bangladeshi food by serving the worst kind of food. I had ordere top 3 food items through uber eats and instantly regretted it. Could not finish half of this and had to throw away remaining food. Uber eats order no: #41F06 on 4th April 2024
Awesome experience! Great vibes. Genuine and authentic Bengali food served. Friendly owner and staff!
First time here. Decorations are nice and service is good. We had chotpoti, singara and Cha. All were served hot and in a quick time although we went during dinner time. Chotpoti can be improved by keeping little bit watery and adding bit more tamarind.Well try their mains in the next visit. Overall pretty good experience.
Food was awesome, staff and service was amazing. Really loved everything. Definitely going back to eat there again. Only washroom was bad. Needs to be renovated
Took too long. Maybe you need more chefs in the kitchen and more servers. The poor guy that s serves also has to cook. That s crazy.
Absolutely terrible service. The food was decent. Would have ordered more but wanted to try the fuchka shots as an appetizer to gauge the food. We waited 30 minutes for chai and 50 minutes for 2 fuchka plates.
Mutton Kacchi and the tehari was excellent. Fuchka was super tasty. Staff and environment are also excellent.
Since its new the service took a long time.. the server was a little lost. however, the food was good Vegetarian options: There are many veg options
A team of Six friends of us step in to the restaurant. We ordered several items. The food quality was excellent. It was really delicious, as a realtor I have to travel different places and enjoy the food almost everywhere in the GTA. But this is the Best of Best. We will definitely visit again.
Those who gave 5/4 star reviews ,100% sure these are paid reviews we ordered beef tehari & haji mutton tehari. quality 2out of 10. We asked for salad , they forget to give us. Food : 1/5
I used to love their food so much that I used to recommend it to everyone. I was a very regular customer ordering from them mostly by Uber but day by day their food quality is getting worse. And day before yesterday was worst! For the fried chicken they gave me 3 small pieces and all of them were burnt. It was almost black in colour and of course couldn t eat. For the chicken roll, I know how theirs are but this time they literally put few pieces of chicken in a day old paratha and wrap it like that! I mean If you don t have that item available you could simply use the app to let the customer know so they can choose something else but this way they just lost customer s trust completely. I would no longer recommend it to people. I would not order from them myself.
services is very good specially service bu Vivek
Its one of the best Bangla foods . Just loved it
The place started off well, as I ve been here multiple times with friends. My last experience 2 weeks ago was not at all good! The phuchka & chatpati was not at all tasty, however, the moglai paratha saved the day. I took an order of tehari & morog polou! The tehari was absolutely disappointing! Meat & rice portion was very imbalanced with few meat pieces that were very dry, hard to chew and too less in quantity to the rice portion. The Morog Polou was okay, nothing to mention about! Overall, very disappointed experience!
The food is really tasty & delicious, I ate Moghlai Paratha, Beef Tehari, Duck Bhuna & special tea. The service is very good.
Great experience with the food and service. Owner s very generous and welcoming. Highly recommend the Bangla Chinese combo as it tastes very similar to the one back in BD. Tehari was good too. Got a free complimentary drink as first time customers.. Will come back again.
Ordered via door dash so can only talk abt the food. Chicken roll was good, biryani wasn t very good.
Yesterday we had a dinner here. Food are excellent with great taste. Service was awesome . Magical Bangladeshi taste . Thanks to everyone . Food : 5/5
Good bangladeshi version of Chinese food.
Definitely one of the best places on Danforth, and definitely the best fuchka I had by far. Also tried Mutton Kachhi which was as fresh as it gets and taste is really top class. Buddies tried the Bangla Chinese food and enjoyed it thoroughly. Dont miss their Borhani, it was perfect!
The food was nice, the old Dhaka Teheri was good it had a nice aroma to it (mustard oil aroma) very authentic I felt like I was In Old Dhaka! and the owners were very friendly. Recommend this place for you and your family to have a great dinner!
Delicious food , awesome service.
I asked for vegetable singara they served me beef. I dont recommend going there. The tea was not hot.
Food takes little longer time to serve otherwise everything was perfect. Vegetarian options: Mixed Food : 5/5 |
Unfortunately the best Tehari in this Town . Atmosphere was superb with eyes attracting decoration. I had say the food quality was excellent. First time I visited here and Thank you for great services
Excellent food, love supporting local businesses. Great atmosphere music and south Asian food, will come back for sure and recommend!
Great atmosphere, the owner is a very hard working woman. If you like authentic home made south Asian cuisine you must try!
I ordered several times and every time it was amazing and of course reasonably priced.
Magical food and service! Highly recommend. Food : 5/5
We were 40 people in groups and service was good well organized the service boy was very humble and polite food was deliceious the owner lady was prompt
I love the food here. The Beef tehari is amazing I have also tried the beef and omg it reminds of me of my moms cooking! Glad to have found this place hope they open up a branch downtown.
We have take out plain polau, chicken roast, mixed veg, beef curry and chicken kabab for 25 persons. Food quantity was good enough. All the items were very tasty, our guests loved it. Parking: You can park near metro and walk 5 min
The food is basic, the place is small and unhygienic; I gave $50 tip and she pocketed the whole thing
Such an authentic restaurant, the service is amazing and the food even better. This place feels clean and the people make it better. The Chinese is the best, I recommend. The chicken fry is also exceptional. I am in love. Going to be a loyal customer.
Their Chinese combo is mouth-watering, fresh and reasonably priced. I ordered for 31st party and I am highly satisfied and pleased by the authentic Bangladeshi taste and large quantity. I would love to order again.
I 100% recommend this restaurant, one of the best!!!
I love this place and 100% would go back the food was good and the service was amazing i recommend !!
The best restaurant I ever went to. The food is so delicious and amazing. The service is awesome i recommend going!.
I thoroughly enjoyed the Fuchka shots at the restaurant a delightful burst of flavors. The decor was impressive, creating a beautiful ambiance. The overall interior design added to the dining experience, and the tasty dishes showcased authentic Bangladeshi flavors. Highly recommended!
This woman who owns this place is narcissistic and steals tips from workers, is fake with customers, the food was just stale and not really worth it
Undoubtedly one of the best Bangladeshi restaurant in Danforth. If you are craving for Bengali Chinese ,their Bengali Chinese combo will definitely meet up your expectations level!
Most of the time, I order food online. But foods are delicious and very affordable.
Mimi Apu is truly an authentic culinary queen for Bangladeshi cuisine. I had her Chinese combo (and my personal favourite) and I was completely blown away because she replicated the flavours of the Bangladeshi Chinese cuisine. Which further proves that she has an extremely diverse palate and knows exactly how to build those flavours. Truly amazing and treated me like her own daughter. Whenever I want a clean home cooked meal, I go to Mimi Apu!
Food portion is not enough and fried rice tastes very bad. The quality of food is not up to the mark. I dont know how the rating is 4.7. Highly not recommended. Please do not waste your money.
Beef tehari was really good!
So spicy and loaded with green chillies. Our Beef Tihari came with 40 hot burning green chillies in 1 plate. Seriously? Food
I love there biriyani and fuchka and Laban ông! It was amazing best fuchka and kabab in Toronto!!!
Excellent quality of food at good price. Service was very nice and the cleanliness is top notch. Highly recommended for those who are craving for deshi chinese and all sort of Bangladeshi food at one place. I had the combo with fried rice, chicken fry, beef chilli, and mixed veggies. It reminded me of good old Bangladeshi set menu. My husband had rice, fish, daal and bhorta which was very tasty as well. We also took chow mean parcel and had beef tehari few months ago which were also good.
Only thing good about this place is the food that too when you get it. You have to go in and wonder when someone will come greet you and ask you what you would like to eat. Owner has an attitude like she is the Queen lack of staff not friendly with customer at all.
I had the Chinese combo from the menu was super delicious. Would like to go back to try the other items as well. Had to wait longer, but the food was worth the wait.
Amazing food! The whole experience from start to end is great. Great atmosphere and the prices are fair for the portion size. Doesn t matter what I get I end up liking it. From my experience, Khazana Queen is the best restaurant in town. I would request everyone to taste Khazana Queen s food at least once, then you will understand what is the real taste of shahi khana like Kachi biryani, beef Tehari , snacks, Bangladeshi Chinese food and all that. Yes finally I found mouth-watering food in a restaurant.
Best fuchka & tehari in danforth! Everything she makes tastes amazing.. Great service and atmosphere! Obsessed with Mimmi Aunty s tehari. If you re around please check the place out.
Amazing food
We went for lunch today. We ordered the deshi chinese platter and polao roast. Both items are very yummy and service was impeccable. We have been Mimmi bhabi s customer since 2012 and her food has been always so yummy. Best wishes in their new endeavour.
The set menu needs little improvements. Polau and is excellent. Authentic Theharii.Great service.Toronto Bangladeshi community needs this to spread the popularity of Bangladeshi food.
Went for lunch at this newly opened restaurant its nicely decorated and service was great. Food was absolutely delicious! Can highly recommend this restaurant and will definitely be back!
Very nice staff and fantastic food for a great price! Also, a really cool atmosphere as well! Very comfy chairs.
Very delicious food People keen on pleasing you Thats what makes for a good experience Food : 5/5
I recently dined at this restaurant, and I must say it was an exceptional experience. The food was absolutely delicious, bursting with flavor in every bite. The hospitality was top-notch, with the staff going above and beyond to make us feel welcome. The clean and inviting atmosphere added to the overall enjoyment of our meal. I cant wait to return for another delightful dining experience!
One of the best tehari you can find in GTA. I also had khichuri with duck which was also delicious. A must try place.
I had the shrimp while my friend ordered jerk goat. Both was amazingly delicious. The service was great! Nice place to try Bangalore dishes.
The food is amazing I ate mutton Tahari Its really good. Very clean and very nice atmosphere Food
Food was too good and delicious and they maintain quality well .Enough space to sit and environment is very friendly . Recommended
Authentic Bengali restaurant (best so far) in Toronto! Ordered the first time in Uber Eats but a must-dine in person for the next time. Old Dhaka-style Tehari is 100% as it says, with perfect temperature, taste, and spice. I will recommend it to all my friends and family here. Also tried the chicken roast (with pilau) and the chicken biryani, the chicken piece in the biryani was awesome tender, and smelled fresh! Its hard to retain the same quality for always but fingers crossed for Khazana Queen! The price is competitive and maybe the best in town too.
We went at the closing time unknowingly but they still accommodated us. Service is top notch. Food we tried was chinese combo which had sizzling beef, fried rice, 1 pc chicken fry and veggies. It tasted really good. Took me back to my childhood days. It tastes exactly like chinese food in bangladesh. So good.
Initially we went for chotpoti but later ended up having dinner and tea too. The chotpoti was better than the other restaurants in Danforth. Their Chinese was the best, then the walima roast and lastly beef tehari. Tehari had good amount of beef and not spicy at all. Personally I prefer spicy for tehari. The tea tasted exactly same like the tea we had in BD tongs. The lady who served was very generous. They need a little time to serve the food so if you are very hungry order it as soon as you enter the restaurant. well recommended. Parking: You can park at Lowes and it s a walking distance from there. Kid-friendliness: Didn t have any high chairs for the children
Loved the Tehari and Singara
The new Bengali Restaurant KHAZANA QUEEN at Danforth Bangla town exceeded my expectations with its authentic flavors and cozy ambiance. The menu offered a diverse range of dishes, and each one showcased the rich culinary heritage of Bengal. The attentive service and warm atmosphere made it a delightful dining experience. Highly recommend trying their signature dishes! Best wishes for Mimmi bhavi and Arafin bhai for their hard work and wish a grand success in their business.
Wonderful experience last week at Khazana Queen. The food is out of this world! Ive never had food with these kinds of flavours before as Im not too familiar with the cuisine, but Im a huge fan now. The staff were super accommodating, very friendly & you could see the pride they had in all they did. Will most certainly return!
Their food is exactly like it was back home! Just try the beef tehari
