We celebrated our anniversary at Lucie and could not be happier. Outstanding service and great food. The restaurants atmosphere is lovely. From our coat check to being seated, we were treated very well. And to top it off, we were given a lovely letter for our anniversary as we finished our meal. Overall, a fantastic experience, in one of the cities best restaurants.
We celebrated our anniversary here and it was just an amazing experience. The staff was very friendly and attentive. We ordered the tasting menu and everything was delicious. The bison was so smooth and melted in my mouth! The calamari was also delicious. The wine pairings were also well thought out. We definitely look forward to dining here again!
Went there for a business lunch. The service is excellent from coat checking to table service. The servers are friendly, knowledgeable and attentive. Food is great. We ordered Le Canard and Le Boeuf - excellent. We also shared a dessert. The restaurant also offered pallet cleaner (delicious), fresh bread and macron (lemon flavour and also delicious). Granted it isn’t cheap but well worth the money.
An outstanding experience from start to finish. A formal and warm welcome to one of the most beautiful spaces in the country. We opted for the tasting menu with the caviar add-on. My partner and I aren't the most sophisticated or experienced when it comes to this level of dining, and frankly were a bit intimidated at first. However the staff was eager to walk us through each step with fun and insightful explanations. You could tell they shared our excitement. Truely a magical night, and the most delicious meal we've ever shared. We're so greatful for wonderful service and spectacular presentation. We hope to return soon.
Great experience! It was a delightful celebratory dinner at Lucie and everything was well taken care of. The food is amazing - presentation, mouth watering, and interesting combinations. Wine pairing was nice to have.
Great new entry in the Michelin restaurant in Toronto. I came here the other night, I sat at the bar and Remy was the bartender. Super kind and polite. Service top notch with all the staff working together to provide you a great experience.
In general, my friend, my partner and I enjoyed the food at Lucie. Some dishes were quite decent while some of them were a bit random. The squid appetizer and the beef wellington (that I shared with my friend) were made to perfection. Even though beef wellington tends to be heavy, their version tasted quite light. However, the lemon dessert tasted too sweet (even having paired with a mint sorbet) and it overpowered the dish. That said, lemon desserts are generally hard to make. The "surprise" appetizer also tasted strange. The flavours didn't come together and I didn't quite understand the idea. The servers were quite attentive and we generally appreciated the service. We would still think this is a good french restaurant in Toronto.
It was such excellent dining experience. Everything was so detailed and so respectful. We really enjoyed the tasting menu. It was meticulously planned and it flowed really well. Me and friend were just excited to see what’s coming next. The lamb dish so yummy with best reduction sauces ever! It was well worth the $600 for 2 price tag. Things will only get more expensive with economy worsening so I decided to treat us. What a pleasure .. I would go back 2 or 3 times a year.
The food feels about 4.5! The steak Wellington with foie gras is definitely a specialty! The seafood scallops felt a bit mushy. I really like the lemon flavored dessert. I also like the chocolate-flavored macarons I got for my birthday today!
Everything about this place I loved, food, service, price was all good
2nd Visit Oct In a restaurant like Lucie you don t mess around choosing items off a menu, especially when Chef Arnaud Bloquel has created the most exquisite tasting menu. The service team and sommelier will take a few moments to describe each course & wine in all it s splendour, the ingredients, components, flavours and inspiration, providing us with a connection to the chef and restaurant overall. The level of service and hospitality is so elevated here, even though busy on a Thursday it seems that everyone on their team is fully dedicated to making your entire visit feel like a special occasion. Excited for the next visit!
Originally from France, I usually have high expectations for french restaurant in Toronto. Lucie restaurant was amazing! We tried for the first time le Pethivier and it was perfect! Well cooked and the meat was excellent. The chocolate dessert was amazing and not too sweet. It was overall a great experience! The owner Yannick was lovely and welcoming. We will definitely come back for the dinner! A must try for people looking for a good french restaurant in Toronto!
Had an amazing time, amazing food and very friendly staff
This restaurant exceeded all expectations! The food was absolutely delicious, with every dish bursting with flavour and beautifully presented. We got the tasting menu and you can get the sommelier to pair wine with each dish. The staff was attentive, friendly, and made us feel so welcome. I can t wait to come back and try more from the menu. Highly recommend!
When creativity, quality and exceptional skill come together, the result is an unforgettable dining experience. Congratulations to the chef and the entire team for delivering such exeptional flavors and an outstanding level of hospitality. Food
Absolutely stunning decor, amazing staff and some of the best food in Toronto. If you want an authentic dining experience, I would encourage anyone to come and see for yourself. One of the best restaurants I have been to and I must say I am impressed. Definitely will be returning soon.
The address on Yonge is the % I recommend this place! Lucie sits in the Michelin star echelon without the painful price tag. We had a truly incredible dining experience.
Dining at Lucie was nothing short of a delightful symphony for the senses! From the moment we stepped in, the experience was elevated, with each detail thoughtfully crafted to perfection. The food? Outstanding! Every dish struck the perfect balance of flavor and presentation, leaving the palate wanting more. Portions were generous yet refined, and the wine pairings were spot on like a well-choreographed dance that added an extra layer of magic to the meal. The little touches oh, the amuses bouche were whimsical surprises that made each course feel like an event. Even the citrus hand soap in the bathroom caught our attention, adding to the fresh, elegant vibe to our lunch. And then, the music. A fabulous blend of French contemporary tunes with the classics, setting the mood just right. But what truly stole the show was the service. Thoughtful, attentive, and incredibly accommodating when it came to allergies, making us feel pampered from start to finish. Lucie is not just a restaurant, it s a recommendation I ll be sharing far and wide a must-visit for those who appreciate a dining experience that goes above and beyond.
The service was impeccable. Absolutely amazing . I cant say Ive had a better service anywhere else ever. Michelin star service. Good was amazing . Complex flavors , unique . We did the collection wine pairing and it was amazing. Worth every penny if you can afford it . The only thing is it took way too long, it was over 3 hours for just me and my Habibi . But otherwise, it was perfect ! Tres Bien !
I had a girls night out at Lucie last night. Mediocre experience. Our server was most likely new on the job. He seemed utterly confused. The cod was very fishy, the truffle pasta as an app was great. Beef Wellington was very average and tasteless. We barely touched our food minus the apps. We waited a long time in between servings and also our tea was almost cold by the time our deserts arrived. This Restaurant is not very busy and my experience definitely explains why. Deserts were very dull. Presentation was great. Cocktails are decent. Wine list is very average again. I would not return note will I recommend.
Went on a Friday during lunch time and there was literally only 4 other people in the whole restaurant. It was absolutely empty at lunch which should have told me enough. The service was great. The place has a good esthetic. The presentation is good. Had the three course lunch. The first course was great, but the main and dessert were underwhelming. If things remain this way, there is no way this restaurant will remain open (Response to the owner) Thank-you for the response but I go to many many restaurants downtown for lunch that are busy. So your statement is completely false. That being said it doesnt matter how busy or not busy your restaurant is. The fact is... When the food is good the restaurant will be busy. And unfortunately the food was underwhelming. I have been to many french restaurants and the food here was not memorable.
The experience was unique and unforgettable. The service by the entire team was outstanding, we felt very special and taken care of from arrival to departure by every member of the team. We had the Menu Emotion, no word can describe how succulent it was. The name is accurate, it was emotion after emotion with each dish. We had the wine pairing which I highly recommend, the sommelier was on point for every dish pairing. Will go back with no hesitation.
Kid-friendliness: Staff were friendly except for the host. We were a walk in and were asked if we had a reservation and we said no. It was 6:30pm and only 2 tables were occupied. The host hesitated and then said, would you like to see the menu first to which we replied, no its fine. Made us feel like we shouldnt be there. He was pretentious. My husband and I are in our 50s, we were dressed casual but still nice. We have been to many French and high end restaurants and were never received this way. It was unfortunate. Even if the meal was delicious and priced right, we will not be returning.
The food so great and the service excellent !
Thank you Lucie for the great experience, from service to food. The care and quality in every aspect was executed beyond my expectations! The beef wellington was the star of the night, see you again soon.
A great French restaurant in downtown Toronto. Tasting menu only. It s a destination restaurant. Amazing culinary experience.
Fantastic restaurant all around. Food was great. The ambiance for lunch was amazing. Wine list is impressive. Most importantly Hannah our server was lights out amazing. Fun, friendly, knew exactly when to come to us with questions/options and was just a delight.
Im not sure where to start on this review. Well to say the least, it took me about 2 weeks to decide on a place to eat. My decision did not let me down. I chose this place because of the connection the Chef had to the food. Ive traveled all around and have been to many fine restaurants and places to eat. To compare this restaurant to others, well you cannot. If you have ever been to Montana or Wyoming, you know that you cannot describe the views. The art you get at Lucies, is comparable to the views you see. You cannot put it into words. The service itself was as you would expect, amazing. The staff is knowledgeable about every dish that is presented to you. What the chef, the staff, and the amazing mixologist does for you; is to say the least an art within itself. Now I am not very good at taking pictures, but pictures would not do the dishes or drink justice anyway. For some reason google would not let me post pictures.
IN LOVE WITH THIS RESTAURANT!!!!!!!!!
Flawless
We had a great time and an awesome fine dining experience. 100% recommended .
Everything was spot on. From a warm welcome and comfortable smiles around the people at Lucie know how to do it well. They are passionate about their approach in everything from the front of the house to the kitchen. I can only talk so much about how good the wine was and spectacular each course of food made me feel. Packed to the brim with flavour Chef Bloquel and his team do a great job in squeezing essence of every ingredient to the final milligram, their sauces are teeming with flavour. One might find the decor a little cold. The service staff makes up with their warmth, their passion, gentle smiles, and making you their centre stage. I want to thank Yoaan, Chef Arnaud and his team, Monsieur Yannick, Thomas for giving me his best wines, to the lovely servers Akshay, Alessio, Dorian and rest of the team who made it memorable. I feel happy to see this level of service and hospitality in the city. Single Best fine dining meal I have had in Canada.
The food and service was amazing. The presentation and quality of the food is great. The servers were so attentive and kind, giving such a welcoming feeling to the experience.
We had a beautiful evening at Lucie: great service, delicious food and flavourful wine- all of it and the atmosphere created to entertain and give an unforgettable experience to its guests. Recommended special: Le Pitivier (Beef Wellington a la francaise
Amazing atmosphere and knowledgable staff. The food was perfect from beginning to the end. It was one of the best night out we have ever had in years. Thank Lucie you made my day.
We went to celebrate our 20th wedding anniversary, and the experience exceeded expectations. The food was amazing, the service impeccable, and the sommelier very knowledgeable. We will definitely return
Took Thai friends to Lucie for a birthday-celebration dinner. We have eaten in some of the worlds best restaurants and think that Lucie definitely deserves a spot among them. Had the Le Comptoir de Lucie course, perfect small portions, for seniors like us with smaller appetites. The courses were nicely explained by staff upon presentation, beautifully plated and had an exceptional combination of flavours. The lamb was one of the best we have ever had anywhere, as was the scallop. In all a great dining experience. Lucie is a Michelin recommended restaurant, I think that they a worthy of a Michelin star.
Excellent culinary and curated service experience.
Had an absolutely phenomenal experience. The food and service were outstanding and really made you feel like you were dining in Paris. Everyone was super friendly and excited about explaining the dishes and making sure every aspect of the dinner was enjoyable. I would highly recommend.
Beautifully executed, the team at Lucie knock it out of the park every time. LOVE this restaurant. Food
One of the best restaurants I have been to.
The food at Lucie is so well prepared to perfection. The portions are perfect and the foie gras outstanding. The staff are professional and reflective of the top drawer food Lucie serves. Highly recommend you try it. Dietary restrictions: The staff was super attentive to my allergy restrictions and prepared the same as my other guests with modifications. So appreciative of the attention to detail.
Although the food quality is good, it does not justify the high prices. Unfortunately, the atmosphere is unremarkable and the service is inefficient. Furthermore, the menu selection is restricted, with only two set options available. Consequently, I feel what i paid for three people is exorbitant. NOT RECOMMENDED
What a terrific experience at Lucie. Amazing food wonderfully presented, and the hosting was impeccable. Highly recommend.
This French restaurant is an amazing addition to the financial district arrray of fine dining. With top notch management and service, and French chef you will be overwhelmed with the level of service and the quality of the dishes. A must see experience if you re in the downtown core! Bravo to Yannick and the team!
Yannick and his team have created a great dining experience, but more than that: they are committed members of our community and make it a place that is better, not just better-fed
Very Bad service and not recommended
Lucie is truly best in class. From the elegant service, attention to detail and sensational dishes, we loved it all. I was most impressed by how the chef finds a way to put a twist on the most classic French food. Bravo!
First visit to Lucie: exceptional food, impeccable service. A memorable night. Will be back!
The chef/brigade performed with brilliance. The food was nothing but perfection every plates were delicious and presented beautifully. The service was attentive, friendly and knowledgeable. A memorable day!
Fantastic experience, cooking at a Michelin level that brings a little breath of France to downtown Toronto. The food was flawlessly executed and the service was impeccable. This is a new go-to place.
What a fun experience! A beautiful atmosphere, stupendous service and very creative food. We were served a number of amuse bouches from the kitchen. A really great and unique experience.
Pure and Absolute Perfect! Lucie you once again took me on a journey of edible perfection!
10/10 I went here with my boyfriend and the service, the ambience and the pace of when they delivered your food was spectacular! It definitely felt like a taste of Paris in August Our server name was Dorian, he was absolutely splendid, he explained all the dishes throughly and simple, he handled each unique plate with delicacy. You can tell he genuinely loves his job and is passionate about food and culture. Request him! He won t disappoint you Lucie thank you !!!
applied techniques but the flavor is mediocre and the character is missing... the raspberries tasted better than the rest of the dessert
The dining experience adds to my belief that no place of taste operates on this section of Yonge. Upon walking in and seeing the intrepid interior design we should have picked up the signal and left. Everything aside from the mains were in the form of paste. We would have been able to appreciate this expression had the flavours actually mingled well. The mains were more reasonably executed but the wine pairing tasted putrid. The duck breast was missing the layer of char. Desserts tasted juvenile. The conclusion: the crowds supporting this establishment are casual diners desperately looking for a place to call modern French and company-sponsored events. However as a fine dining establishment, the place is as far from a Michelin star as an Applebee s.
One of the most outstanding, perhaps the most outstanding restaurants that we have ever been to. The service and ambiance set the stage from the very beginning. We needed some help with the menu and our server did a great job of answering our questions. Then came the food. Amazing! We were so pleased with the unique tastes, presentation and with the quality. The owner stopped by and checked in with us. He shared the story of the restaurant and his familys French heritage. All-in-all, we had a marvelous dinner and we highly recommend Lucie. It is pricey, but worth it.
Lunch was absolutely spectacular, from the wonderful food to the artistic plating. Even the bread was memorable. I heartily recommend the lamb and Le Citron for dessert. I hope to return often.
Absolutely an outstanding dining experience
Amazing restaurant with impeccable service. What a terrific lunch. Dietary restrictions: Vegan options are wonderful. Food : 5/5 |
While Ive been a big fan of Lucie since it opened last year, this past week I hosted my first event there. The team at Lucie did not disappoint. They worked with me to put together a wonderful menu (including accommodating the food restrictions for some of my guests), hosted a beautiful pre-dinner cocktail hour (including creating delicious and creative non-alcoholic options) and paired terrific wines with each course. The service and food were, as always, absolutely exceptional. Its wonderful to invite friends and colleagues to a place you love and be able to relax and enjoy yourself, knowing everything will go off without a hitch and your guests will be incredibly impressed with your choice of restaurant!
A great dining experience in the financial core. Beautiful French cuisine delivered in a gorgeous setting. We sat at the bar and enjoyed the tasting menu and pairings! Perfection.
Service was incredible, but the dishes were hit or miss.
Great meal and wonderful service, thanks to a terrific team.
I recently tried August in Paris, a sensational four-course menu. This dining experience at Lucie should be at the top of your list! It showcases the Chef s classic French cooking heritage. If you re a seafood lover, you will love Le Calamar - Atlantic squid, green pepper pesto smoked paprika, with squid ink & balsamic reduction - absolutely delicious Also Les Saint Jacques - Scallops, chanterelle, roasted almond with Granny Smith apple cider reduction For meat lovers, L Agneau will be very satisfying - loved this roasted Ontario lamb saddle with a unique green olive cream, chickpea & reduction jus The dessert is an absolute Showstopper! La Noisette - pastry, hazelnut praline espuma chocolate sauce with vanilla ice cream This is an authentic French dining experience you don t want to miss! Completely blown away by the intricacy of the dishes & genuine flavours. I will be dining here again and again!
Excellent food, excellent service. Yoann and Juliette provided exceptional service and wonderful experience for my fiancée and I. We will definitely return! Dietary restrictions: Able to accommodate dietary restrictions.
Lucie is absolutely stunning restaurant! The moment you walk in, you can feel the elegance and charm. It s perfect for a nice dinner out, with a really sophisticated vibe. The staff is incredibly friendly and attentive and the food is something else each dish is not only delicious but also beautifully presented, making the whole experience feel really elevated. It s the kind of place where you can truly enjoy both the flavors and the experience. If youre looking for a special place to spend the evening, Lucie is definitely a must-visit.
good service, portion was a bit small but its yummy
I love this resto! If I could think of one word to describe it, it would be impeccable. What was really special for me was that I am a vegetarian and they basically redid the options for me and it was so delicious. Also with the canapés and the amuse-bouche and things like that, it s just an experience you don t get all the time so while of course it is expensive, I think it is so worth it if you want to treat yourself. I also noticed that the woman on the table next to me was pregnant and they also ensured that all of her dishes were safe for her to eat and made a accommodations for her as well. Honestly, it reminded me of being in an episode of The Bear where you just know the staff behind the scenes is working so hard to make sure you have the best experience. I loved it and will be back! Vegetarian options: They made me ratatouille and even replaced every ingredient in the canape and amuse-bouche for me. It was so special.
Our second time dining at Lucie and was a truly memorable (and delicious) experience. Our meal was curated with such fine detail and the service was very attentive. We will absolutely be back a third time to try the Beef Wellington!
Creative and tasty French cuisine tasting menu at Lucie Restaurant from chef Arnaud Bloquel. The highlights were the scallops and the wine pairing.
I recently had the pleasure of dining at Lucie Restaurant in Toronto, and I can t stop raving about it! From the moment I walked in, the cozy and welcoming atmosphere made me feel right at home. The decor is charming, with beautiful details that give it a lovely, intimate vibe. The service was incredible our servers were friendly and genuinely passionate about the menu, offering great recommendations. Now, the food: absolutely delicious! Each dish, from the savory fois gras to the decadent desert was a true delight. You can really taste the quality and care in every bite. If youre looking for an amazing French dining experience, Lucie is definitely the place to go. I can t wait to visit again!
It is second time at Lucie. Lucie is named after the owners grandmother; a sweet origin story. Lucie is now a Michelin recommended restaurant. The servers were quite attentive. They took the time to explain every dish and how to enjoy it. I appreciated this because it helped us understand how the flavours were infused together. This was missing during my first visit. Appetizers: Zucchini Flower - Packed with umami, the zucchini flowers are stuffed with a fish paste accompanied with a rich seafood broth. This is the newest addition to the menu. I loved this because of the seafood. A tip for the restaurant - you should warn patrons about the strong seafood flavour because some people may not be fond of the smell. Le Boeuf- One of their most popular dishes. My friend and I agreed that this is an acquired taste. Its not for everyone. It is definitely not your usual beef tartare. Mains: Le Pitivier for two- The beef wellington was a show and it gave us the opportunity to meet the chef. We loved the sauce and the beef was quite tender. I loved the fig and beet pairing. Overall, it complemented the dish. One thing we would like to recommend- more fragrant puff pastry. Dessert: Le Citron- My girlfriend enjoys tart flavours, so she had this. La Noisette- This is the true star of their dessert menu. Why isnt Lucie promoting this dessert more? Im surprised on Google, its mainly photos of the Le Citron La Noisette is essentially a choux pastry paired with ice-cream. Simultaneously, it is a hot and cold experience. Side note: Like a true French establishment, the butter was excellent. Their sourdough bread are packed with olives and it was a nice touch. I am interested to return to try their lunch menu.
Decided to celebrate our July wedding anniversary with two of my friends, so we picked a few restaurants and used a paper bag app to decide which one to go to. The paper bag doesn t lie, and Lucie was our chosen destination. The experience at Lucie was inviting and had a calm, relaxing atmosphere. I arrived first, and the staff, including the General Manager (GM) Yoann, were very attentive. Our server, Juliette, along with Yoann, provided excellent service and made us feel welcome from the start. Juliette showed us the drink menu. Out of the six of us, only three are really into drinking, so they selected a bottle of red wine to share. Juliette then provided us with the menu and explained each dish in great detail, which was very helpful. For our starters (Les Entrees), my wife and I chose Laubergine Violon and Le Foie Gras. The Laubergine Violon, according to my wife, was a bit salty, but I found it to be a delightful mix of flavors. The Foie Gras was creamy with a great texture, a perfect start to our meal. For the main course (Les Plats), we picked Le Pitivier for Two. This dish was outstanding. It was like a beautifully baked Beef Wellington with a nice color inside, and every bite was delicious. When it came to dessert (Les Desserts), we opted for Le Citron and La Noisette. The Le Citron was beautifully presented and every bite was a delight. La Noisette was equally impressive, with rich flavors that rounded off our meal perfectly. The overall experience at Lucie was amazing. They even provided a few extra surprises for us, although I was too busy taking photos to pay close attention. Despite that, the attentive service and exceptional food made it a memorable anniversary celebration. Lucie is a fantastic place for a special occasion. We thoroughly enjoyed our evening and would highly recommend it to anyone looking for a memorable dining experience.
Great tasting restaurant, a lovely addition to the culinary experiences in this city. We did the tasting menu which was 6 courses (4 mains, 2 desserts for $195) as of writing. Very creative and unique dishes with good tempo and progression between courses. The canapes/amuse bouche were nice and interesting combinations that I appreciated. I think the courses were definitely the stars of the show and each one was well thought out and well balanced (especially with a glass of red!) Service was great, nobody minded me being a little chatty, bread service was delish, the olive bread was one of the best bread services we ve had in the city. Overall, I would happily come back and hope that my next visit will be as good as this one.
What a lovely surprise! The food was perfection and the service was excellent. This is now one of our favourite restaurants in Toronto.
I had a superb dinner here last Tuesday. The restaurant staff went to great lengths to ensure our meal was perfect and that we were well taken care of throughout the evening. The food was without exception delicious, perfectly prepared and served, and presented beautifully. I highly recommend this restaurant. Items pictured: Amuse Bouche including maki and Foie Gras cones Appetizers: Le Foie Gras and Le Calamar Mains: Le Pitivier for Two Desserts: Le Citron and La Framboise Complimentary dessert - marshmallow with salted caramel macron
Hands down one of the best restaurants I ve experienced so far.
Way overly priced and I can t even remember what we had. Very un memorable
To celebrate the Chinese Qixi Festival, my boyfriend and I decided to have dinner here. Overall, I really enjoyed the atmosphere, the service was excellent, and the food was delicious with great value for the price. A big thank you to the restaurant for all the delightful surprises! We chose the three-course Table d Hôte menu ($130/pp) and added a cheese course ($32/pp) for each of us. The flavors were all impressive, and it s worth mentioning that the cheese came from France and was of high quality. However, the portion was a bit large, so I would recommend sharing one cheese course between two people, especially if you re drinking wine. Yes, I highly recommend trying the cheese. Le Boeuf: Beef tartare with caviar. The flavor was very subtle, and the ingredients blended well together. Le Foie Gras: The foie gras mousse was smooth and paired beautifully with the side dishes, enhancing the rich sweetness of the foie gras. Le Pitivier for Two: Wellington beef, with a delightfully flaky pastry, tender foie gras, and perfectly cooked steak, all accompanied by creamy mushrooms. Each bite was truly satisfying. Originally, I wanted to try the tasting menu, but I chose this menu specifically for this dish, and I think I made the right decision. I would definitely return to this restaurant just to have this dish again. La Noisette: A profiterole filled with vanilla ice cream and drizzled with melted hazelnut chocolate sauce an absolute treat. This dessert was incredibly satisfying and delicious. I highly recommend it. Le Café Moka: A coffee and chocolate-flavored dessert that was beautifully presented and had a rich texture. If I hadn t ordered La Noisette, I would have said this was the most delightful dessert I ve had recently. My partner and I ordered a bottle of red wine, and the sommelier recommended an excellent bottle that paired perfectly with our dishes. We were thrilled with the choice. I think my boyfriend and I will definitely come back to enjoy the Wellington beef again and explore other dishes. Vegetarian options: Do have vegetarian choice
We had the most amazing time at Lucie! The August in Paris Tasting Menu was stunning. The food and the wine was incredible. We had the best service weve ever had at a restaurant. Our server, Dorian, was absolutely delightful, and the GM, Yoann, was so kind and attentive. We cant wait to go back!
At times when Haute Cuisine Parisian nostalgia sets in, there is Lucie, downtown Toronto, for an authentic French gastronomic experience. I foresee Michelin stardom in the future.
Nice restaurant with great food and good staff. Sitting in the bar is great but the tables looked nice as well.
Our most beautiful gastronomic discovery during our stay in Canada Finally, truly French cuisine, of the highest quality, with high quality products, cooked with inspiration and refinement. A real joy after three weeks of cooking in restaurants that are sometimes listed in the Michelin guide but do not have Lucies level. Thank you for the exceptional Pithiviers.
Superb experience. World class. I ve been at some of the finest establishments in the world, and this is among them.
It seems odd to say but this restaurant is so good, the pricing makes it seem good value. unabashedly 5-stars. Ive lived New York for over 3 years now and have eaten at over a hundred restaurants. This is better than all.
Pretty cool experience. Everything was done very well visually. Flavours were composed very well with a variety of techniques executed. Foams were all very interesting. Only one item was off and it was the Rice crisps were not crisp but perhaps because it was the end of the night. Excellent use of seasonal vegetables in every dish. Thanks for the great experience.
Fantastic night at Lucie for their August in Paris menu. Highly recommend!
Enjoyed the August in Paris tasting menu! Every dish was beautiful and had great flavour. The drinks were well made, and service was very attentive.
Where do I begin? In fact, I don t.. why spill the surprises and food that awaits when you go. This place is on its way to a Mich Star hands down. The service, atmosphere, and conversation was top notch. The bartender/server explained every dish fantastically. He was a true friend by the end of the dinner service. A must go to spot for any foodie lover. 10 stars is I could for all around experience.
Outstanding dining experience! The service was timed to perfection, professional and extremely pleasant. Every dish and every bite was a burst of flavour, from the appetizers to the desserts. The Beef Wellington was delightful - a highlight on the menu. Lucie is truly a gem in Torontos dining scene.
Our first dining experience was exceptional. From our initial greeting by Louis, to our wonderful server Juliette, to the detailed explanations of all of our food presentations, we had a wonderful sensory dinner. The champagne cart was unexpected and very well done. We both had the Lucie Royal champagne cocktail, which had a refreshing tartness. We selected the Table dhôte menu and began with white asparagus, which was delicious! My wife had the whole Nova Scotia lobster. Fabulous!!! The scallops and chanterelle mushrooms were exquisite. Dessert s were the lemon square and the valrhona chocolate. Just amazing. Our dinner was well paired with a Sancerre white wine. An excellent dining experience. We will definitely return and wish you all much success.
There is so much to write about this restaurant that we dont know where to start. Everything is exceptional, starting with the welcome. We arrive and we already feel like were on friendly ground and we already know that the experience will be sublime and when the dishes start to arrive the exception is confirmed. I could tell you about it again and again, instead I recommend you go there and meet Yoann, the manager and Arnaud this chef, this artist with their team who know how to make you have a wonderful time. Lucie surely the best restaurant in Toronto. I challenged my friends in Montreal to find a restaurant like this in Montreal. Surely a future Michelin star. A memorable experience in this restaurant, which well deserves a distinction. Refined and generous cuisine, a very fine wine list, punctuated by attentive service. Thank you Chef Bloquel and Mr. Bigourdan for your welcome!
Without a doubt, the best meal Ive ever had in Toronto. Top 5 meals in my lifetime and weve traveled A LOT. Every aspect of the service, food, cocktails, ambiance and overall experience was 10/10. Wouldnt be surprised if this place gets a Michelin star. This restaurant is a MUST visit for all foodies and cocktail aficionados. Thank you to all the incredible servers who made my birthday extra special. My husband and I will definitely be back!!
Wow, wow, wow! From the moment you walk in to the moment you leave, this place transports you to a fine dining French experience, with a modern flare. The staff are all perfect and on point and the food and drinks were way over a 5/5 rating. Thank you! I cannot wait to come back!
Truly an amazing experience at Restaurant Lucie, and Im not just saying that because we share the same name! Everything from the beginning of the meal to the end was well executed and extremely impressive. My husband and I opted out of the tasting menu this time around and ordered the Table Dhote as he had his eyes on their beef wellington and my goodness am I glad we got that. The outside pastry was flakey as you can hear that light crisp when your knife first hit the crust, but it turns soft, oh so soft as you get to the beef. Words cannot describe the joy we felt as we were indulging in that wellington. Hat off to the chef, youve done wonders. Other items to recommend from the menu would be the la citron and la noisette dessert. A light but delicious piece to finish off a great meal.
Enjoyed an exquisite dining experience on a Friday night. The food was extraordinary, beautifully crafted and executed with attention to detail. We opted into the cheese platter as well which really opened up the palate. The cocktails are also worth mentioning, the gentleman had personally crafted some himself and the martinis were on an entirety different tier. The hospitality was second to none. Highly recommend experiencing dinner here.
One of the best restaurant in the world. Absolutely incredible.
Amazing! Beautiful presentation and balanced flavours from both the kitchen and the bar. Excellent service from the moment you walk in to the moment you leave. Very accommodating for allergies and dietary restrictions. Shoutout to Louis and Remy for taking great care of us.
Lucie is so far the best restaurant I ve tried in Toronto. The ambiance, the service and the food are amazing. Eating at Lucie is an experience that everyone should try. The dishes are delicious and the presentation blew me away at every bite. We really liked the little surprises offered by the restaurant like the amuse bouche or the canapé. I would also highlight the particular attention we received on the our nut allergy. They checked every time for every dish to be sure no nuts would be present in the entire meal. I want to say thank you to the entire Lucie family for an amazing night.
The food creativity and taste were outstanding, the service was impeccable. Lucie, our server, was excellent, attentive, friendly and knowledgeable . Johan was very welcoming and provided genuine experience. Love the artwork ! Très belle soirée
Great food and service. Total worth the price.
Great service. Amazing food. My head was somewhere else so I asked the chef to decide for me ... what a great choice! (No filters applied to my photos)
Experience was beyond excellent and much more than what I was expecting! Adly provided the best service. Thank you! I will be back FOR SURE! Food
What a treat! The staff were all attentive. We had the 6 course tasting menu, loved every bite! Show stoppers: - Asparagus - Prawns - Duck - Citrus dessert We re with Charlie s Burgers - the wine paired well with post of the dishes, but we were all about being upsold on wine pairing too. Very happy to splurge. Thank you for the great bday dinner!
You must try this restaurant. The food is exquisite and the service impeccable. 5+ stars!
Our server Sebastian was engaging, knowledgeable and a joy for our evening. The Comptoire de Lucie wine and food pairing was outstanding. The elegance and timing of the chef and all staff was impeccable! Thank you so very much for this wonderful experience. A la prochaine!
Usually dont write google reviews but every single dish was a piece of art so I had to write one. I will definitely come back!!
Warning to the public super shady restaurant with illegal procedures your pay system is illegal if you didn t know. For any employees who work there please report this! I have made a report myself. Also who asks for sensitive information such as sin # over email? Please learn the laws of Canada Ontario it s quite different from France! Thanks and I hope you change for the better! Photos will be uploaded shortly to provide proof of my accurate statement thank you so much for your feedback tho
Amazing experience at Lucie. Everyone was really attentive and friendly - felt really at ease. The food was great - the ingredients are of high quality and wonderful combination. I never thought I could say this, but it s like an explosion of flavor in my mouth! Highly recommend!
I discovered this restaurant while searching for unique culinary experiences in Toronto and Im very glad to have brought my wife here on a special occasion since we had an unforgettable experience from start to finish. We tried their Menu Émotion and every dish was captivating to our eyes as well as our palettes. A special shout out to Raimey who took the time to explain every dish and how each ingredient complimented each other. Every dish was carefully crafted and neatly presented to create a wonderful dining experience. Thank you to the staff for the memorable experience. It is something my wife and I will never forget and this restaurant will forever have a special place in our hearts. We look forward to coming back in the near future!
Unreal food. A la carte menu is top to bottom delicious. It s also a LOT of food so come hungry. Capped off with amazing service from Lucy(ie?) and the GM. Can t wait to go again.
Very enjoyable, excellent staff, atmosphere and most of all, the food. We had the Taster Menu, every item was a very delicious party for my tastebuds. The wine parings were perfect. A beautiful treat for a date night with significant other. Go, bring money, enjoy amazing food. Dietary restrictions: We sat down and they immediately asked about allergies. I let them know that I am allergic to porc. They adapted each dish that had bacon, geletin, etc so that it was not on my plate at all. Amazing.
Sublime
An incredible gastronomic experience. Exceptional cuisine, fabulous presentation!
My wife googled best new restaurants and found this gem. If they werent the nicest people I might be tempted to rate them low to keep our possibilities of being able to get a seat higher. Vist this place soon before they get a star or two and then it will be impossible to get a seat. We sat at the bar for the counter four course tasting menu, different from the longer one at a table. Four courses...if you dont include the canapés, amuse Boucheron, palate cleanser and the final treat that comes with you bill. All I have time to say is...attention to detail...thats what sets them apart from the rest of really good restaurants in TO. Youll know what I mean when you go...like the wall paper matches the menu. The off the menu apple pie old-fashioned was served on a Staub skillet...I could go on. Thanks for the perfect evening guys!!!
The food was outstanding, I savored every bite. Lucie offers warm and friendly service and the atmosphere is cozy, warm and yet stylish. I loved the champagne cart and the kir Royale was divine.
an exquisite menu and atmosphere; the restaurant has worked hard to perfect their craft and it shows, in the little details on the plate to the attention given to wine pairing. we had such a delightful time here!
My husband and I had lunch there by luck. I didnt know the place and absolutely loved it. The food was fabulous. The service and vibe are great. I am looking forward to coming for dinner to try the degustation menu. A fabulous place in downtown Toronto that deserves to be jam-packed at lunch and dinner every day of the week!!
Great French culinary experience! We usually think of french portion being little but i really like each and every dishes we ordered. We went for a la carte menu selection! Entree foie gras was an exquisite taste with the bread and butter! Pitivier (Beef wellington) was top-notch! Desert Noissette was phenomenal! Highly recommend! Enjoyed the moment!
Restaurant name: Lucie Restaurant address: 100 Yonge St, Toronto, M5C2W1 I came to this French restaurant for lunch yesterday. One of the main reasons why this restaurant attracted me was because of its super high ratings. I was curious to see why this restaurant got such a high rating. Now I I think this store deserves this rating. What I had for lunch was a three-course set menu. I liked the black truffle chanterelles as an appetizer. It was delicious and delicious. It was paired with eggs that made the taste softer, and there was no fishy smell from the eggs at all. Todays main course was originally supposed to be scallops, but after learning from the waiter that the scallops were sold out, I chose lamb. The taste of the mutton remains tender and chewy at the same time. It is fully flavored after being marinated, and the accompanying vegetables are also fully seasoned. I personally like this dish very much. Today s dessert is ice cream and mousse cake. The presentation is beautiful, but the dessert tastes a little too sweet. It needs to be paired with tea or espresso to eat it. All in all, this is a very good restaurant that can make you enjoy the meal. Diners experience the atmosphere of the Old World and I will be returning to this restaurant again in the near future to order a few dishes and savor them.
Their tasting menu is top notch and so delicious, the presentation, attention to detail and service were on point. The overall experience was incredible. I would recommend this restaurant to family friends and clients.
Tasting Menu Excellence I recently had the pleasure of dining at Lucie Restaurant, and I must say it was an unforgettable experience. The Tasting Menu was a journey through flavors, textures, and creativity. Each dish was meticulously crafted, and the execution was flawless. Plating Perfection The plating at Lucie is an art form. Every dish arrived like a canvas, with vibrant colors and elegant arrangements. From delicate microgreens to precisely placed edible flowers, the presentation was a feast for the eyes. It s rare to find a restaurant where the visual appeal matches the taste, but Lucie achieved just that. Raimey s Mixology Magic Now, let s talk about the drinks. Lucie s beverage specialist, Raimey, is a true artist. His cocktails and mocktails are nothing short of spectacular. Raimey s attention to detail and passion for mixology make Lucie s bar a destination in itself. Highly Recommended In summary, Lucie Restaurant is a gem in Toronto s culinary scene. Whether you re celebrating a special occasion or simply indulging in fine dining, Lucie delivers an exceptional experience. From the first bite to the last sip, you ll be enchanted by their creativity, flavors, and warm hospitality. Highly recommended!
Restaurant in the heart of Toronto, warm welcome and impeccable service, offering high quality dishes! I highly recommend this restaurant! Big crush on the Pommard delight and the Saint Jacques.
I just moved to Toronto and this place has became my favourite spot. Great cocktails, superb food and amazing service!!!
Excellent service that goes above and beyond what you get in Toronto. The tartare was special and the beef Wellington was insanely good. But the desserts especially the chocolate one were to die for.
Very disappointing. I don t know if it was an off night but the restaurant was half empty even though it was a Saturday evening. With so few people it totally lacked any atmosphere or a positive vibe. The food was not impressive however the bill was. Over $500 tor two people with a three course tasting menu. Would not recommend to a friend.
Lucie Restaurant I had the pleasure to experience the food / service / atmosphere it is outstanding experience highly recommended .
Last night I had the pleasure of dining at Lucie. Overall an absolutely amazing experience. I enjoyed the Table dHote menu. I decided, after a great conversation with recommendations with our server, to go with Le Foie Gras, L Agneau, and Le Citron for dessert. Highly recommend!!
My entire dinner experience at Lucie was wonderful! It started right from the moment I walked in. Warmly greeted at the door and escorted to my table. My dinner date was slightly late but I was made to feel very comfortable whiled I waited. I noticed the framed black and white picture of Lucie and a little boy. The restaurant is named after Yannick s grandmother (the owner). I will let you figure out who the boy is. The evening began with a champagne cart with 3 different options to choose from. Followed by an amazing, specially curated vegetarian option for me. Each dish was beautifully presented and our server, Raquel took the time to explain what we were about to eat. Bravo! My pictures have not fully captured the incredible presentation. A true art form, indeed. The highlight was when the Chef himself came out to present us with the house made cheese Just when we thought we could not possibly eat anymore, they served us a piece of marshmallow with the tiniest macaron to end a perfect evening. Sigh! The staff were wonderful, taking great care to meet all our needs. Thank you. Don t wait for a special evening to visit, just go and experience the fine food, ambiance and service. A great addition to the Toronto dining scene. Vegetarian options: I let them know in advance that not only was I a vegetarian but also allergic to a few things. They created a special menu for me. Very accommodating given some notice. Dietary restrictions: They are all over any dietary restrictions. I had no problem whatsoever and I had a few
5 stars all around! If you are in for absolutely unforgettable experience of masterly crafted and authentic French cuisine look no more- Lucie does it well! Thank you team Dietary restrictions: Pescatarian has no problems to choose and enjoy many options.
Fantastic dining experience offered by the team behind Lucie. The staff is incredibly knowledgeable and friendly, the food is exquisite both in presentation and flavour. I personally had La Rutabaga, Le Homard and Le Chocolat and I cant stop thinking about this meal!! Highly recommend! Food
A gastronomic experience worthy of the greatest tables of France in the heart of Toronto! From the personalized and warm welcome from a highly qualified staff to the attention and level of execution of each service, my experience at Lucie was simply magnificent. My highlights: The Hudson Valley foie gras mi-cuit, black truffle, pear confit, a beautiful tribute to the Yannick s terroir (the owner) of south-western France, executed to perfection with a perfect balance in flavors and textures. I am usually not a fan of black truffle and I must say this was prepared to perfection (did I say perfect?). The Ontario Nipissing Farm quail, black truffle Sweetbread, salsify confit, reduction jus, a French classic at its best, beautifully executed with perfect cuisson and seasoning. The 66% Valrhona chocolate, toasted buckwheat, passionfruit sorbet, a decadent ending of beautifully crafted chocolate mousse with an outstanding combination of flavors and textures from the sorbet and the caramelized tuile, it was to die for. I unfortunately did not take any pictures of my meal as I was in a business meeting, but I would recommend anyone who wants to experience top French culinary art in a warm and welcoming yet highly professional atmosphere to go to Lucie s. Thank you to Yannick and his team for their passion, dedication and hospitality. I am looking forward seeing you again soon. Dietary restrictions: N.B. I have several food allergies and so did my guest, and I must say we were cared for in the most welcoming and accommodating way. This really goes a long way.
May just be THE most decadent dining experience in Toronto. Thank you Yannick to you and all your Front of House team who ensured we felt welcomed every moment of our visit. The food is plated beautifully, visually playing with your tastebuds even before you actually taste it. Le Foie Gras with the Black Truffle and Pear Confit was insanely delicious not to mention my Lamb Saddle with the Green Olive cream and the Chickpea reduction jus. Oops, I can t believe I skipped the 3 exceptional Canapés (that Soup!!!) and the Amuse-Bouche, all delicious and again a wow presentation on each. Finally, the table-side completion of my Le Noisette dessert was the cherry on top. Over all you surpassed all my expectations, delivering an incredible dining experience in a gorgeous environment (loved the shelves in the wine room). Thank you to Chef Julie (and your team) and for coming to our table. Bravo to all the team at Lucie. Merci. I look forward to seeing Michelin on your door very soon.
Time and time again, I m never disappointed with my experience with Lucie. Their menu and dishes are well thought out and very delicious. The only nitpick I have was the marshmallow as I found it to be too sweet for my liking. I prefer the à la carte menu over the tasting menu for its better value, but you can t go wrong with either.

Long live French gastronomy!
Truly an culinary experience of excellence
We tried Lucie yesterday and were absolutely blown away. From the moment we walked in, we were warmly greeted by the manager and the owner, Yannick Bigourdan. The decor is elegant and reminiscent of Paris. Yannick, who has multiple successful restaurants, brought in world-class and award-winning Chef Arnaud Bloquel and Sous Chef Julie Guenat. We decided to opt for their tasting menu, which comprised items from the land, garden, and sea. Its obvious why these chefs were brought in. Every bite was crafted to create an explosion of taste. My standouts were the scallops in black truffle and citrus emulsion, their very creative version of steak tartare, and the duck breast. You have to have a cheese course at a French restaurant; they served Delice de Bourgogne cheese turned into iced cream with pear confit, just wow. We ended our meal with a wonderful creation from Pastry Chef Nanaa Sidibee. We were so impressed with the service, ambiance, and overall experience. In my opinion, this is by far the best French restaurant in Toronto and will definitely earn a Michelin Star soon. Bravo to the entire team at Lucie. We will surely be back soon.
Restaurant Lucie isnt just a place to eat; it s a deep dive into the art of fine dining. The atmosphere is as refined as youd hope for a top-tier Toronto spot, setting the stage for a meal you wont forget. Every dish we tried was a clear display of the chefs excellence and careful attention to detail. We went for the chef s tasting menu, and it was stunning. I can still taste the flavors of the scallops with chanterelles, roasted almonds, and the sweet sourness of the apples with cider emulsion. This is just one example of the many flavorful dishes that delighted our palates. The service at Lucie was nothing short of spectacular. Watching the team work was like observing a well-conducted orchestra, where every member played their part perfectly, ensuring a seamless and beautiful dining experience. In a world where its tough to find a truly standout dining experience, Restaurant Lucie shines bright. Its a must-visit for anyone in Toronto who loves to indulge in the finer things and enjoys a meal where every dish is a work of art. It really is something special.
Amazing restaurant. Atmosphere, staff, Wines, especially the brilliantly created menu. Have been a few times now and always amazed, the food is spectacular. From the moment you arrive you are welcomed with a warm smile and your culinary journey begins. A must try. Wheelchair accessibility: Street level access. No stairs.
Great experience dining at Lucie a second time. Food was fantastic as well as top notch service. Beef wellington was amazing, must try. Highly recommended
If youre seeking an unforgettable culinary experience in the heart of the city, look no further than LUCIE, a French gem that promises to tantalize your taste buds and elevate your dining experience to new heights. From the moment we stepped through the doors, we were greeted by an air of sophistication and warmth. The ambience was inviting, with soft lighting casting a romantic glow over the elegant decor. It was clear that attention to detail was paramount here, as every aspect of the restaurant exuded an understated elegance. Our server, fittingly named Lucie, immediately made us feel at home with her gracious demeanor and impeccable professionalism. Her genuine warmth and attentiveness added an extra layer of charm to our dining experience. Additionally, the Spanish server, whose name we regrettably did not catch, was equally professional and friendly, further enhancing our evening. Now, onto the star of the show - the tasting menu with wine pairing. Each dish was a work of art, expertly crafted with the finest ingredients and bursting with flavor. From delicate appetizers to sumptuous main courses and decadent desserts, each course was a culinary journey unto itself. The wine pairing complemented each dish perfectly, elevating the flavors and creating a harmonious symphony on our palates. What truly set LUCIE apart, however, was the impeccable service and genuine hospitality of the staff. Despite the upscale atmosphere, the staff were approachable and down-to-earth, creating a welcoming environment that felt anything but pretentious. We cannot recommend LUCIE highly enough for a special night out in the city. Whether youre celebrating a milestone or simply seeking an unforgettable dining experience, LUCIE delivers on all fronts. From the exquisite cuisine to the impeccable service and charming ambience, this French restaurant is a true gem that deserves to be experienced time and time again.
Service was great, starter and main was so good, we were a group and we ordered all the menu to share all together, everything was yummy, and pricy for sure.
Lucie exceeded all my expectations and provided an unparalleled dining experience. From the moment I stepped in, the tasteful and elegant decor made me feel both welcomed and pampered. The staff at Lucie went above and beyond. Their impeccable knowledge and attentiveness made me feel like the most important diner without being overbearing. To my surprise, the owner himself took the time to introduce himself and personally express his gratitude for choosing their restaurant, which added a special touch to the evening. The food: Every dish was a work of art that tantalised not only the taste buds but also the eyes. Each plate was visually stunning, building up anticipation before the first bite. And when I did take that bite, the explosion of flavours was absolutely delightful. I especially appreciated their thoughtfulness in offering a generous selection of bread to accompany the meal, encouraging guests to savour every last bit of sauce on their plates. It demonstrated their commitment to ensuring that every morsel of food was enjoyed to the fullest, without any hint of pretentiousness. Overall, this dining experience at Lucie surpassed all others and will forever remain in my memory. I wholeheartedly recommend it to everyone as a must-visit establishment.
Exceptional dinner last night at Lucie, service was attentive but not overly so. Tasting menu was well balanced and featured some great twists on the classics. The standout was the wine pairing and the obvious passion of Morgan the Somm, a real credit to Lucie and I imagine is going to do wonderful things with the wine there! Oh and if you are lucky enough you might get some exclusive table side poetry.
Best place to dine in,work. Nice ambience friendly staff.
The service and atmosphere were pretty good, extremely attentive waiters, although at times felt that they tried too hard . The waiter scoffed at our order when we asked for the salmon appetizer, and he said that he could make salmon any day, and recommended the foie gras. Otherwise, the food was extremely salty. The rabbit amuse bouche tasted stale, the soup was like drinking salt water, and the bisque on the shrimp was also extremely salty and thick. Overpowered a lot of other flavors. Unfortunately, the scallops were a bit overcooked and rubbery, and the lamb was quite chewy with a gamey taste.
Dining at Restaurant Lucie was exceptional! The food, service, decor, atmosphere and kind genuine hospitality. This is now my favourite French restaurant in Toronto. You must try the Le Citron dessert- the mint sorbet is do DIE for!!!! The sommelier is very knowledgable and I really enjoyed the wine pairing with my courses. Thank you to Yannick, Yoann and Julie for a marvellous experience. I cant wait to visit again :)
One of the best place in Toronto for French cuisine. Love the service and food is exceptional. Quill and lamb are noteworthy, chef has done an outstanding work and when we see the plats, they are like panting you won t to mess around. But thank you so much for the experience. And we see a new addition in Micheline guide.
I went back to Lucie for lunch with a friend. Good Hospitality (accueil) by the hosts. We chose the set lunch menu and did not regret it. I recommend in particular the Lamb (for its delicious sauce) which I matched with a Cahors! Attentive and friendly service, good atmosphere, excellent food. We enjoyed Lucie and will be back!
What an incredible fine dining experience in Toronto! The service and food were both phenomenal. The menu selection that the chef created was delectable and wine pairings for each course were very complimentary. The staff were attentive, just the right amount, but ensured that from the beginning until the end of the service experience our needs were being not only met, but surpassed. I highly recommend it!!!
We went for lunch; the food and the service were exceptional. Really superb experience. Will return (and return, and return).
What a lovely experience! The food was amazing, french luxury with a contemporary perspective! the service was the true wow factor, the staff were detail oriented and attentive, and knowledgeable . The ambiance was exquisite, lively yet refined. Would certainly be back!
Wonderful experience from welcoming to leaving. Lucie is able to marry a Michelin-like cuisine with a down-to-earth authentic and friendly yet excellent service. Fantastic wine menu and a knowledgeable sommeliere who makes excellent recommendations. If you are looking for a fine dining experience without snobiness, Lucie is your place.

C est vraiment délicieux Main Sole: if you are fish lover, you must try the sole, fish was very soft and juciy, dish was nice matching with white wine Lobster: Arabica sauce was amazing, very deep bisque flavor. Of course, Lobster was perfectly cooked soft. Desert choux: best choux I ever had. cocktail: Highly recommend this cocktail, lavender flavours was absolutely delightful. I highly recommend lucie if you are looking for french cuisine. we will back soon. Thanks for Giving us Amazing experiences in Lucie
Our small group had the pleasure of being invited by the owner for a small tasting menu. All of us were very impressed with the quality and presentation of the cuisine whilst keeping food restrictions top of mind for the select few. The service was on point, the employees were efficient. Lucies decor is visually stunning yet comfortable. Its clear that Yoann the General Manager and Yannick the Owner have a very strong passion for providing every guest with a warm and hospitable environment to dine in.
Took my family here to celebrate my parents wedding anniversary. What a great French culinary experience there is to find in the heart of Toronto. Try their tasting menu if you decide to come here for the first time!
Fantastic experience at Lucie. Incredibly attentive, charismatic, and knowledgeable staff. We were a table of two for Lunch, and we tried: Duck Confit & Foie Gras Burger, Lobster Croque Monsieur, Lemon Square & Chocolate Mousse. Everything was outstanding. For me, the Duck Confit & Foie Gras Burger was perfection.
Very happy with the food and the experience. Highly recommended.
Truly amazing restaurant!
Fantastic tasting menu and service is outstanding
4.9/5 Exceptional dining experience with fantastic service and superb food. This is our new favourite restaurant in the downtown core. Their menu consists of two Prix Fixe options. We chose the $130 option, which felt like a lot more than 3 courses with the small bites they offered us in between. They have an elaborate wine list and a great cocktail menu featuring unique drinks. I cannot recall the names of the drinks we ordered but they tasted wonderful. Every dish was beautifully presented and delicious. It was truly an exceptional dinner. Side note: I would skip the optional cheese plate as this was the only item that was a bit underwhelming. I would highly recommend this restaurant for a special occasion!
Very average food. Lobster weird texture too soft as if not fresh. Near Bay St. only recommend if dinner is on company card which is likely the source of high reviews.
Wonderful experience! Warm and welcoming environment, offered coat check, luxurious cocktails and amazing bites.
Girls night and the table ordered the tasting menu. The service was fantastic. Girls being girls meant lots of pictures throughout the night and the staff were so accommodating. I had mixed feelings on the food. Overall good. Strong start with a hit/miss in the middle because of personal preference and an alright finish. Prob would have ordered the 3 course meal instead.
Finally a real French restaurant in Toronto. I came to try the new tasting menu with my girlfriend and it was incredible from start to finish! The service is really attentive and discreet. Thanks again to the whole team.
What an amazing addition to the Toronto dining scene. We celebrated a wonderful anniversary dinner at Lucie. Impeccable service and the food was to die for. We sampled most of the table dhote menu and it was phenomenal. The appetizers especially were outstanding. We will be back to sample their tasting menu soon.
Such a wonderful evening at Lucie. The tasting menu was an absolute dream. The flavours and exquisite presentation was beyond our expectations. Such a beautiful room w that is modern but still has that classic French feel. The staff were incredible, attentive without feeling intrusive. Highly recommend.
Food was good for French food, the fixed price makes it helpful to narrow down your choices. I thought the service started out really nice - server was friendly, patient (while we couldn t decide our wine). However, as the time went on it just felt like they didn t care & wanted to upsell at every moment. For example, I noted that it was my husband s birthday. The server told me they don t do candles or sing - that s fine. But really did not do anything special for his birthday.. other restaurants where I pay the same price or more, they at least provide with an extra dessert, sparkling wine, etc. Not that I expected it, but I was hoping there would be something. Secondly - my husband asked to switched the glass of wine from red to white, only if it hasn t been poured yet. The bill at the end had the extra charge of wine that we asked to remove, and the server gave is a passive aggressive comment about how my husband shouldn t have asked another server on the wine because it makes it confusing. Sure, understandable but surely for a fine dining restaurant you guys must communicate? We also did not give any attitude - we merely asked if it was possible to switch if i wasn t too late.
I was a guest at an exclusive wine club on Monday, 16 October. We were greeted upon entering the restaurant and shown to our reserved area. We were served a delicious champagne along with elegant amuse bouches. Once seated the service began with the special manu. The presentation throughout the meal was elegant and sophisticated, every part of the meal was exquisite and a delight. The champagne and wines served with the courses were perfectly paired. A wonderful addition to the Toronto dining scene.
Simply the best French restaurant in town! Chef Arnaud concocted the tastiest menu. The best way to try is to indulge with the 3 courses menu for dinner. Lucie is a must try for lunch or dinner downtown!
It s hard to talk about this restaurant without seeming hyperbolic. When you take someone out for a special occasion, especially fine dining, you just hope that the place won t let you down. Lucie delivered and more. This resto is a well deserved 5 stars. My partner and I spent nearly 4 hours at the table and there was never a dull moment. The tasting menu was a deliciously engaging adventure from start to finish, filled with surprises, and we were left properly stuffed! My partner who is a martini aficionado says that the drink is forever changed for him. Definitely try the cocktails! The service is almost other worldly. Fascinating to see a small army take care of us with such precision and warmth from the moment we entered to the moment we left. The owner even took the time to converse with me when he saw my guy was outside. Aldy, our main server, was brilliant and truly provided us with an unforgettable night. Just put yourself in his hands and enjoy the ride. Thank you to the Lucie team for the pride you take in your work and for the expertise you demonstrate across the board.
Restaurant Lucie: A Culinary Gem I recently had the pleasure of dining at Lucie, the fine French cuisine restaurant that has taken our culinary scene by storm in its short three months of operation. From the moment I entered, I was met with an air of sophistication and a warm, inviting atmosphere that set the stage for an exceptional dining experience. Yoann, Managing Director made me feel very special. Lucie has truly redefined the meaning of excellence in both service and cuisine. The dedication to perfection, from the front of house to the back, is nothing short of inspiring. Now, lets talk about the food - an art form in its own right. Each dish presented was like a canvas, skillfully crafted with precision and creativity. The scallops, a masterpiece of their own, were a symphony of flavors and textures. The sear on the scallops was immaculate, revealing a delicate yet decadent interior that practically melted in my mouth. It was a true celebration of the sea, accompanied by a sauce that balanced richness with acidity in a way that still has my taste buds dancing in delight. And then there was dessert. The chocolate creation paired with passionfruit was nothing short of heaven on a plate. The chocolate was indulgent, while the passionfruit added a bright, zesty note that cut through the richness. It was a perfect marriage of flavors, and I found myself savoring each bite. What sets Lucie apart is not just the delectable food but the passion that emanates from every plate. Its a testament to the chef Arnaud Bloquels dedication to the art of cuisine. I thoroughly enjoyed my experience at Lucie, sharing it with a friend who was equally enamored. Its not just a meal; its a celebration of taste, presentation, and the joy of savoring something truly remarkable. Im already planning my next visit, eager to introduce more guests to the magic that is Lucie. In a world where dining out is not just about sustenance but an experience, Lucie has set a new standard. Its a destination that beckons, promising culinary delights that linger in the memory long after the meal has concluded. Bon appétit! Estelle C.
Lucies is a little gem in the heart of downtown Toronto. We had a beautiful evening and felt like we were in France for the time of a dinner. The cozy atmosphere, the impeccable service and the fine food set it apart as a standout dining experience.
Great restaurant with authentic French cuisine and an impressive service! I went last week with my wife and a couple of friends and we were the last ones to leave. All the food was delicious and its very rare to find a place with an excellent service in downtown. Luce is a must! Food
Best French Ever!!! I wish I could give more than 5 stars. The ambiance is very welcoming. Amazing food and service. Staff are extremely knowledgeable and make great recommendations. Parking: There is plenty of convenient parking available in the area.
These guys get it. The service is truly professional, food presentation second to none, and the taste is incredible. I highly recommend it for a birthday or anniversary when you want to make it memorable.
Best new restaurant in Toronto this year. Exceptional food with great flavours and presentations. Super friendly and talented staff. Wonderful ambiance. Cant wait to return!!
Amazing food, outstanding service and superb atmosphere. Head to Lucie for your next night out you won t regret it.
Simply the most amazing restaurant I have visited in a while. The food has a fresh approach. Very well presented and served. Worth the trek down from Richmond Hill. Will visit again as often as possible. Adly looked after our group impeccably. Thanks Lucie for a great Saturday evening.
One of the best French fine dining in town
Thank you!! What a good job
we ordered 5 tasting menu. They are amazing!! I wish Lucie can get the Michelin award next year
This place is awesome, great service and wonderful dining experience! My boyfriend and I tried the 7 course tasting menu and we had spectacular tasting experience. Definitely recommend!
Hands down, best restaurant in Toronto
Took my partner here for her birthday dinner and the experience was amazing! We had the full tasting menu and would highly recommend this choice. The standard wine pairings were all great and would suggest doing this as well. The only miss was the dessert course, which isnt abnormal in my experience for tasting menus. This place is going to become very popular so get in while you can!
A fantastic experience from À to Z!!! Wonderful service, fantastic wines and meals, great location!!! The best fish I had in 4 years and the deserts are just... Crazily good!!
This is a gem in Toronto. Exceptional, Stand out food and service that is unparalleled. The drinks were some of the best I ve had in the city. Can t recommend this place enough. Worth the price!
The food is good, but not worth the price paid. The service is very slow. Its not worth the detour, unless the service and value for money is changed.
Had a tasting menu dinner here. Phenomenal food, with a french twist. Impeccable service, you can tell the servers have been trained very well! Will definitely return!
A great place to spend date night, delicious and and really attentive service!
the burger is phenomenal, coming back soon to try the dinner tasting menu
Excellent overall experience. Tasty menu offerings and an exemplary wine list. Will be returning.
Went for husbands birthday! We had such a great time. The food was different from anything we have ever had and we will certainly be back again. Staff were attentive and knowledgable and gave so much guidance when ordering. Cocktails went down easy! :)
Loved the food here and service was exceptional. Can t wait to come back and bring my family.
A friend of mine highly reccomended I check this place out so I came here after work hours for some drinks at the bar with some work pals. We tried the new bar tasting menu, which is was actually beyond my expectations, it was quite delicious. Everyone loved the atmosphere and the service was amazing. We will be back here again very soon.
What a wonderful experience here from the moment we walked to the moment we left. WOW
All around amazing! Atmosphere is phenomenal, service just outstanding, and the food is the cherry on top. Definitely recommended.
First time visiting today with girlfriend. Great food and amazing service. Definitely recommend.
Took my husband here for his birthday and it did not disappoint. Weve tried all the highest regarded tasting menus throughout the city and Lucie is a contender. The evening started off with a warm welcome that extended through our meal as the staff were passionate, enthusiastic and pleasant. We opted for the tasting menu. The first bite was a caviar creme filled choux pastry which was divine. Every dish presented thereafter was well executed with sauces full of complex rich flavors. The quantity was perfect as my husband and I left full. My advice is to dine here before they no doubt receive a coveted star.
A restaurant with exceptional food and outstanding service, Lucie is a love letter to France in every bite. Chef Arnaud manages to capture the child like wonder of eating a sweet with his exceptional desserts showcasing impeccable skill and mindful flavor pairings. The lobster was our personal standout from the savory courses among the 7 course tasting menu. If the armagnac and arabica coffee sauce could be bottled and sold, I would buy it in bulk. For the sweet courses, everything from the valrhona chocolate to the zesty marshmallow bite blew us away but the framboise stole the show with its tarragon sorbet complimenting the raspberry beautifully. I will be back for another inspired dinner. Thank you for making our anniversary exceptional, team Lucie. A special shoutout to our server Remy who made us feel extremely comfortable.
Celebrate for my birthday here The Armagnac and arabica sauce on the lobster was absolutely amazing. Red wine butter sauce is a perfect match with the scallop! clementine sorbet goes 200% well with the Valrhona chocolate!!
Came here a week ago with a few friends and tried the tasting men and a bottle of a Spanish wine, and everything was divine. Especially the fois gras and the lamb. Not the mention the service was impeccable and the ambiance of the restaurant overall is very classy yet welcoming. Will definitely be returning!
Wow !
A jewel of French cuisine w Impecable Service
The food is outstanding in general. The service is relaxed and luxurious, yet on point and precise. You are here to take it in, just sit back and enjoy the journey. I highly reccomend the Foie Gras and the Lobster. The café blanc for dessert is also quite a treat.
My husband and I had a truly spectacular meal at Lucie! We loved every moment of the very thoughtful, savoury and delicious experience. The food is art! Almost too beautiful to deconstruct- but absolutely worth it for our taste buds! Service and ambiance is a lovely and welcome change to Toronto s fast paced, noisy and overly packed dining experiences. Thank you for a very satisfying evening!
Im conflicted here. Our food (we got a paired tasting menu) was delicious, and the wine was fantastic! You can tell that Yannick spared no expense when it came to finding his chef and back of house staff--top notch! Extreme praise for the back! My conflict comes when talking about the front of house. I chose this place to celebrate my partners birthday because I had assumed it would have the same pedigree and ambiance as Splendido, his former Italian mainstay on Harbord. It did not. We were there on a Saturday night at 7--prime time for any respectable eatery in the city, it shouldve been slammed. It was empty. There were two or three tables with people in them. One looked like a retirement party and the other was a very short lived meal by what looked like people just passing through. The bar was completely empty and it was quiet. Despite all this, our server still took his time to come greet us and our pre dinner cocktails barely arrived before our food did. The server, while friendly (maybe too friendly?) seemed a bit old fashioned in some of his humour and hand holding while explaining the menu. Stuffy is the word that comes to mind when thinking of the service here. It wasnt bad, but it wasnt fluid. Im pretty sure no one folded my napkin while I went to the washroom, either. Its the little things... The lighting... well, there was none. Youd expect tables to have a small cute light. Or at the very least small fixtures around tables to make the mood more intimate. Instead, there was a drab darkness to the whole place without much warmth. The place settings were odd--a slippery piece of black leather that kept moving on tables that looked out of place given the food that was being served. Maybe Yannick blew all of his budget on importing the chef and gm? Maybe the lack of vibe can be explained by the location? The deep financial district on a street usually frequented only by tourists. But just up the street, lenha was full and warm. I really wanted to love this place. And by the website and food, youd figure they were gunning for a star, but it seems that the greatness of the food (the saucier here is a magician) was counterbalanced by the lack of attention to details in the dining room and a drab location (something they really cant change, I know). For the same money, I couldve had a hell of a time at Prime Seafood Palace, Grey Gardens, or Le Select. I think this places main intention was feeding the corporate lunchtime crowd or an older generation more used to bright and quiet dinning rooms and not to host a romantic dinner date. Edit: Thank you for your heartfelt and genuine reply, Yannick. I m glad you re improving and will most certainly let you know when I go there next.
When you want to have a great food experience you have to eat with all your senses. Lucie definitely provided this great experience. The food was fabulous. The presentation of the dishes were impeccable and the service was fantastic. Situated in downtown Toronto I would highly recommend this place for anyone wanting to have a great dining experience.
One of the best restaurants in the city, running an incredible tasting menu, that manages to be clever and traditional all at the same time.
One of the best experience in canada. I guess better than alo according to food. A full experience of french cuisine. Bring you back to france. Amazing cocktails
The food is beyond imagination, definitely worth the price! The team is so great, special shoutout to Adly, he is super!
First time at Lucie last week, and we are already planning to come back next year! An incredible experience that begins as soon as we walk through the door, the atmosphere and the smell transports us to France. Thoughtful and succulent dishes, special mention for the lemon for dessert. The service was impeccable from start to finish, a big thank you to our server Adly for this dinner!
Wow. What an incredible meal and our server, Remie was literally the best ever. So knowledgable, fun and helpful. Could not recommend the food here enough. Michelin star coming soon we feel.
Quite simply exceptional!! Not Michelin star yet but very sure it is coming!! (Only been open 5 months!) Ramie our server was unbelievable and amazing knowledge of the menu and the restaurant! Absolute asset! Look forward to coming back next time we are here from the UK!
