Very poor attention to food being served . A good friend received painted paper mixed in with her hot food. Very disappointed .

I had an excellent sandwich. I also spilled my coffee absolutely everywhere. Like imagine the most embarrassing spill that could ever happen. Evvvvvverywhere. And the staff was so extremely kind about it, and even brought me a replacement coffee.

The flavors are so well balanced, tastes great!!

After viewing the blooming cherry blossoms in High Park, have a simple lunch at a small shop next to the park. The shop is small, with about 16 seats. It is family-run and provides Western breakfast, sandwiches, soups, salads, salads, and cakes. While waiting for food, the layout is in a traditional Western-style coffee shop, with flowers on the stage to add a touch of warmth. The food quality is good, freshly prepared, the portions are moderate, and the prices are reasonable. The waiters are cordial and courteous. It is a comfortable and leisurely place to rest.

Such wonderful ladies working here, so kind and welcoming. They make you feel like family here. Brunch is always amazing, banana bread is incredible, everything is just phenomenal Kid-friendliness: The women who work here are absolutely amazing and so welcoming to our toddler. They always come by to say hi specifically to her and remember her name. At the end of our meal they ll ask if she s all finished and give her a cookie so thoughtful and so caring to children visiting and dining here

This place rules. It s cheap and simple and pretty tasty. BLT: lots of Bacon, lots of mayo, and she even seasons the tomato. How can you go wrong?

Loved this small but cozy lunch coffee place! Big menu to choose your brekky, brunch or lunch from. I had California Melt with Rye bread. It was so good! I will go back there many more time for sure.

Courteous service, food ok

Fantastic and friendly local lunch counter. The hot and cold sandwiches are really tasty. So are the baked goods. But my favourite is the Eggs Florentine.

Such a rip off. $15 for a 4 bite sandwich.

Nice ambience, feels fresh, the food was great.

I went into lunchbox to buy a small bottle of water and decided to get a nice little pie as well as my wife and I were about to picnic in high park. The total was $9.05 even though the pie was tiny but I figured it must be good at that price. Imagine our surprise when we looked at it closer during our picnic and saw visible mold growing inside the pie. Beyond gross! Unless you want moldy overpriced pie, I wouldn t recommend lunchbox.

Vegetarian options: Picked up a rosted vegetable sallad with feta that was really good. Dietary restrictions: No problem getting a glutenfree option.

I often had breakfast takeout here during the pandemic. Food was always topnotch, service friendly, and a relaxing start to the day across the road in High Park. Also the banana bread is to die for.

I ordered a tuna melt from Skip. The tuna was rotten. I took 2 bites and almost threw up. I am still smelling it in my house.

Lunchbox is easily one of my favorite places in TO. The lovely peeps here have a sense a community which they show when you come in and they remember you. Love it here.. Kid-friendliness: Their menu is extensive, so Im sure the little one will find something to have. The snacks there will for sure get the kids going!!

Cant believe this small cup.of fruit is $11.50. Ordered from uber eats. Also roasted veggie salad with feta is overpriced $16.50. Better options out there than this unfortunately.

Nice tuna sandwiches and staff

Tuna salad and smoked salmon sandwich were absolutely amazing.

Tasty soup and sandwich shop plus pastries and desserts. Food is freshly prepared and can be made to order. Very attentive owners and staff. Clean and bright shop. Can tell there are regular customers here. Eat in or takeout.

Amazing food, so many options, nice feel, and great location, and to add onto that, they have great staff that are really nice! It is a great place to get a snack or a brunch, you have come to the right place.

We lived in the neighbourhood for a few years before we discovered Lunchbox and once we did it became a real family favourite! They have really good home style lunch options. The mushroom fontina melt is my fav! It s great to have a place like this nearby for a quick, healthy lunch option, especially when working from home.

I tried to ask for a refund and the lady was yelling and rude and hang up on me. I ve had an English breakfast 100 times before and never did it smell or taste like that. Had two bites and threw it out then got sick good thing I ordered the tea as it calmed my tummy after. My day is ruined as I m now sick and the restaurant pretty much stole my money

Delicious lunch... So handy to pick something up here and cross the street to picnic at High Park.

Good hearty bowl of chilli!

I tried out this place during lunch on a weekday. I had their cheese crossiant and pina coloda smoothie. The crossiant was okay. The smoothie was very good. Perhaps on the more expensive side at $12 including tax for both. Its not bad having this lunch on the go. There is a washroom but for only paying customers.

First time ordering from them ordered 2 breakfasts the eggs were not over easy they were hard and the home fries were over cooked burnt but on a good note the strawberry and banana smoothie was delicious a little too expensive but delicious but I have to say I wont be ordering from them again

The key lime pie was not melted well and it was past it s shelf life. The aluminum taste seeps into the expired baked good. I know they can do better and clear out old products. Breakfast was good.

Go here its a lovely spot. I think may be family owned but not sure, either way the food is delicious and so are the desserts

Wife and I had lunch here on our first date at high park 10 years ago. Five stars for sentimental value but great spot right by the park.

My family and I just had the most amazing Thanksgiving lunch and pumpkin pie. Everything on the plate was perfectly cooked and perfectly seasoned; and generous portions too. The coffee is amazing and the staff is super friendly. Couldnt recommend this little neighborhood spot more. Good food, made with love.

Love this place! So friendly, such good food, fair prices. People who really know their customers too. I am a particular fan of the bread pudding (might be giving away a secret, but psssst, its the croissants). Also the walnut bread, the soups the chilli. I could go on.

Had to make a last minute order for a 10 person meeting. Noralyn was super organized, had everything ready on time, packaged perfectly for transporting, was very responsive through the whole process. I really appreciate all her help and customer service. Thank you!

Excellent food, very tasty, and a country feeling.

Ordered through Uber eats and will not be doing so again. Overall this place seems pretentious and overpriced. Avocado toast is a basic sandwich. Could easily throw together the same for less than $3 and salt it properly. Barely worth it on a two for one deal. Waffles were soggy, not crispy at all, and the whipped cream was powdery like it came from a can and was chillec way too hard. Tuna salad is mostly lettuce and the balsamic dressing container leaked all over my stuff when I was replating. Overall an experience I could not recommend. Maybe its better in person I dont know.

My favourite place for lunch in the area the sandwiches and soup are always so gooood. Perfect when craving something cozy

This is a diner style restaurant, serving all day breakfast. The staff are great, the prices are excellent, but the food is just okay. Ordered the Jr Lunchbox, with the homefries (which were unseasoned), eggs, and turkey sausages (overcooked). Wanted to try something local, but this place was not for me

The roast beef sandwich was delicious, but it used to be thicker. More like cafeteria, not a deli.

Pre-ordered +20 sandwiches to have a gathering at High Park. It was so easy and each sandwich was individually bagged. Everyone thought their sandwich was delicious.

Lovely small breakfast/lunch joint. Decor is eye popping to really let yourself wander from photo to photo hanging on the wall. Food is delicious and served warm. The chilli was served delicately but fill me healthily. Bathrooms were as expected for a small restaurant that seems to be refitted on a budget. Would come back on and empty stomach.

I have eaten in this place three times and each time has been a great experience! the restaurant is small, but welcoming, the staff is very kind and nice. the kitchen is of high quality. the food is always very good. They use high quality ingredients and it is really a pleasure to eat here. Last but not least, music playlists are always great selections! Highly recommended!

I ordered online from doordash and they did my order wrong. I ordered eggBenedict with salad but they put fries with it. Also i ordered 20oz of coffee and mentioned please have creams and sugars on the side and they gave me a small size coffee with no cream and sugar. And how do we eat without utensils really? It sucks big time to order fron this place. Ugh.

Okay, so the location is not so bad, employee is not bad either. The problems is their equipment and silverware. They are dirty, not cleaned thoroughly. I ordered a smoked salmon omelette and they brought it out without the smoked salmon..... Like are you serious. I guess ordering out is much better, but my opinion I wouldnt come here again and the owner is stingy, Im assuming who the owner is.

Nice looking menu and ratings were great a year ago but I can understand the latest poor reviews. Service isnt too friendly and cleanliness is definitely an issue. I had the salmon avocado salad and it looked great, fresh ingredients except for the salmon. If the salmon had been fresher it wouldve earned 4 stars.

Went for lunch. It was quite good. I can see why the cleanliness and clutter can be a problem for some people but all around fine for a quick lunch. I didnt notice anything dirty when I was there.

This place is run by such nice people and the breakfast is always so good. When I m in the area I always try to stop in slow down and enjoy my time there. Great place to go if you re into walking in high park.

Generous breakfast! Great coffee, homefries are a bit over done for my liking but you get more eggs and sides than most places for your buck, my partners omelette was good, very filling meals in a nice cozy space too. The regulars are entertaining oldsters the staff looks practised at being patient and accommodating with.

Have been going here steadily for about 2 years with my wife, and we are always satisfied with the food and service. Theres a very friendly, chill, and family-inclusive vibe there which is nice. The prices are very reasonable too, especially in contrast to more expensive breakfast places around Bloor West, and their banana bread and other baked goods are awesome. They even bring samples to tables every now and then which is a definite nice touch. These people are great owners; if youre in the area you should keep this place in mind for sure.

Eggs Florentine were delicious and the mushroom/spinach omelette had amble portions of both in it. Hashbrowns were done properly, fluffy with a little crisp. Staff was friendly and courteous (dishes out a free smoothie sample) and the prices beat similar brunch menus. Great spot.
