Very expensive !!!!!!!!!!!

A party of 12 of us attended Mademoiselle for our annual Christmas dinner. The food quality was top notch but the sequencing of the serving was absolutely awful. From start to finish our meals took over 1 hr to be served. In one case, the lobster spaghetti was served cold. In another, the steak was so undercooked it was blue. Now for the good....the atmosphere was beautiful and the server was excellent. Where Mademoiselle fails is that they are not able to effectively handle the serving of large parties to ensure people are all receiving their food at the same time and that the food quality is constant. Our server was amazing and she was genuinely concerned with our dissatisfaction at the food service delivery.

Okay I m not gonna lie my first time here was NOT five star but it was understandable and here s why: They were EXTREMELY busy, it was a Friday night and the bartenders were impossible to grab their attention, they only served those they knew. Evidence of this was I was standing there for 10 mins and not one bartender came or gave any eye contact yet a lady came up beside me and got her drink within seconds. I was told it s because he knows her . It took me 30+ mins to get a drink due to this and it really turned me off the place for a while. I was visibly annoyed enough that a kind gentleman told me go upstairs service is better at that bar ordered a simple drink rum & coke, the bartender told me Oh, he can make it for you and pointed to his colleague which I found odd, I asked him if he s able to make it he said yes and I further asked why didn t you? He simply shrugged That was my first time ever here and it did make a big impression so I didn t return for MONTHS. Since then I ve been back twice, sat at the sushi bar, we had a nice view of the kitchen, great drinks and food. This last time I came much earlier on a Friday night and I must say, the service was awesome, food was incredible and everything was above and beyond, I think I transcended when I ate that salmon I would ve licked the plate if there was no one watching. Fantastic drinks as well, I m glad I gave this place another shot. As for the late night service if the same difficulty to service higher crowds is still a stumbling block with this establishment, due to lack of eye contact or just selective servicing that remains to be seen

One of my many visits - loved my bartender Jessy . Such a wonderful person doing his job amazingly. Thankyou for the hospitality and the best margarita sour 1What a crazy monday I had in a long while in Toronto. literally felt like a saturday night . Music , service , and MARGARITA Were absolutely fantastic . Definately coming back soon .

My friend called to ask if she could purchase a dessert for take out as they didn t want to dine in and host said yes. Upon arrival security refused to let them in. She explained that they called the host and they were just doing take out. He demanded they call the host and let them know he won t be letting them in. The host came outside and told him she told them they can come purchase the dessert. He did not care. He said no because he did not like the way they were dressed. Mind you it is -10 degrees outside so they are dressed to keep warm. My friend asked if he was really refusing her money and he said yes. Solely based on their outfits. We respect a dress code, yes. But 1. They were simply getting a takeout order then leaving. 2. It is literally winter, they have to wear their coats etc. and please do not say bouncers are responsible for the integrity of the club when it s no secret that Toronto bouncers are more focused on pocketing cash for individuals wanting to skip the line rather than doing their actual jobs. The host was trying to let them in but I guess the bouncer got the last word. They simply just left because what do they look like begging someone to spend their own hard earned money. Will never go this establishment. Believe all the TikTok s and google reviews. Serious discrimination.

This place is INSANELY pretentious and not for people looking to actually have a good time or be social. The bar serves real crafted cocktails and has a pretty atmosphere for photos that s about it. Place is a wannabe sugar daddy/baby central. If you re looking for a manther or to feel like you ve time travelled to the 90s this is your spot. It s ok for a pre drink because there was no cover but not the main event. I ll give 4 stars for that but don t stay too late cause it gets weird.

This place is definitely overhyped and falsely advertised. The vibes are so off. The security, seating and service is terrible, to put it politely. We booked this place almost a month in advance, and had a lot of exciting plans for it. From the moment we were greeted, we were extremely, disrespected. We had a couple rounds of drinks for all the girls before we realize that it was a completely toxic environment. I regret spending a penny here. I have to make some sort of video or awareness because it s beyond right for them to rip people of their experience, money, and leave them having a miserable time. Please do not trust social media. Everyone we talk to was miserable and admitted they did not like the place.

The bouncers / security at the door are racist. Which is ironic because they re black

Odd night. Had drinks from the bar while waiting for our table to be ready. cocktails were great 10/10 ..Got seated & sat at our table for 20 mins, with no water, before our server told us someone else was going to serve us. Then the new server also took long.. Ordered a sushi roll from someone else s table. we didn t end up staying. No one even apologized. Strange.. Vibes are great, sushi was okay. Came here a few months ago and had lobster mac & a steak, it was really good. I d still recommend this place but the servers for the most part have an off vibe. Very meh service.

Although the place looks nice me and my husband didn t have a good experience there one of the waiters was very disrespectful and kept on ignoring are table, we waited 50mins just for lobsters, spaghetti ,oysters and sushi

The food is good. The crowd is... Ill leave for you to decide. Sound is incredible... Id go back just for the music and sound system. Nowhere to dance, though, and with the music... sometimes, its difficult not to get up and dance.

Terrible Service and Rude Staff We had an awful experience at this restaurant/bar tonight. The waitress, dressed in black, was incredibly rude and unhelpful. We asked for water multiple times, and she completely ignored our requests. It was clear she had no interest in providing good service or helping us in any way. Instead of addressing our concerns, the staff treated us disrespectfully and made us feel unwelcome. The lack of professionalism was shocking, and we left feeling embarrassed and disappointed. This place seriously needs to train its staff to treat customers with basic courtesy. Would not recommend!

Amazing experience. They apparently switched management and to that round of applause.. I have never experienced customer service quite like this. Very caring, patient and did everything possible to accommodate our party of 5. Thank you so much and We will be back.

Delicious food and great vibe as you and ee in my photos - picture worthy place!, yes its an expensive place but everything we tried was great - lamb chops, Lobster Mac N Cheese, oysters, the trio plate of calamari and stuff, ALL DELICIOUS and worth it!

Music is way too loud to speak over or even hear yourselves. Food was decent was severely overpriced. We got the octopus, king st roll, and hamachi jalapeños. Service was great, but I asked my waiter to bring out something for my bf whose bday we were celebrating which was never brought out. And when we asked for a shot for the bday boy, waiter said he d bring it out for the whole table and cover it but then put it on our bill. He did waive it when we asked, but definitely check ur receipt before paying. Other than that, Tony was amazing. He did talk to us and shared some laughs though.

The place is visually appealing and great for taking pictures, but the food leaves much to be desired. It s clearly designed with Instagram in mind, but unfortunately, the service and quality don t match the aesthetics. If you re looking for a spot with loud music and a nice backdrop for photos, this could work. However, if good food and service are your priorities, there are definitely better choices out there.

I love mademoiselle and ive been a lot but wow the service from Hua takes this place to another level! She is so honest and attentive. It feels like family!

I had the WORST experience at this place. The owner was rude and confrontational, speaking to customers in an aggressive manner. The place seems to attract a lower-class crowd, and the overall atmosphere was far from welcoming. The treatment I received as a customer was poor, with staff being unprofessional and inattentive. I would not recommend this restaurant to anyone who values respect and good service. I certainly won t be coming back.

Came here last week Friday for a night out with friends. Reached a little after 10 Enjoyed the meal the food was good. The space is beautiful decorated. The only turn off is the music is way too loud. You literally have to yell to talk to the person sitting right beside you. Even ordering from the server with them leaned in close to us, we could barely hear each other.

Great atmosphere and yummy food. The wait time for food and the bill was extraordinarily slow. I d recommend as a bar/club but not a restaurant.

I recently visited this restaurant and was extremely disappointed. Firstly, they don t have a parking spot, which made it very inconvenient to get there. Secondly, their hookah menu doesn t have any prices listed, which is very misleading. I was shocked when I found out they charged $200 for a hookah. This is outrageous and feels like a scam. Such practices should be a crime and deserve serious consequences. I won t be coming back.

the service here was absolutely terrible! borderline horrific let me elaborate more on what was supposed to be a good night out: so me and my 2 other friends went out for a girls night, we all ordered the Lobster pasta, all was fine and well. until a Big fly landed on my friends lobster, we tried everything we could to get the fly off of the lobster but literally it would not fly away no matter how many times we tried to shoo it away. so we politely called our waiter over and said hey there s a fly on the lobster and it won t fly away, by this point the fly probably had been crawling around my friend s lobster for 2-3 minutes. also let me point this out, we didn t even ask for a new lobster tail! we just showed the waiter in hopes that maybe she would suggest getting my friend a new lobster. so the waiter then proceeded to tell us that the flys being in the restaurant are inevitable and because it s hot outside they re going to come into the restaurant, and the fact that it landed on the lobster was something that my friend could have prevented & the restaurant is not held accountable for that. she made the biggest deal and was being very very disrespectful for absolutely no reason! she made me and my friends feel very very uncomfortable and we had no reason as to why she was being so incredibly mean to us when all we did was show her a fly on the lobster. why should my friend be forced to eat a lobster that a fly is crawling all around in? not fair! the waiter ruined our whole experience and made us feel very uncomfortable! Mind you we re all coloured Folks, not sure if this has anything to due with our terrible experience but it sure does feel that way! absolutely unacceptable and i would love if something would get done about this!

Absolutely wonderful experience at Mademoiselle we were asked when we arrived if we were celebrating anything and just mentioned it was my cousins birthday at the end of the meal they bought out a complimentary strawberry gateau with a sparkler and a Happy Birthday sign for her was truly incredible. Massive shout out to our server Brie we had our 8 year old daughter with us and at a place as swanky as this it would be easy to just ignore kids but a he had the bar make her the fanciest mocktail with a light in it and she even created some chopsticks for her to use with the sushi we ordered .so incredibly touching and appreciated! Highly recommend!!

Terrible music that is masked with live performance on a Monday Arab night. No place to dance, no dress code, too crowd and too many women. Every part of the club is sectioned off, just completely terrible. First and last experience!

Love this place, definitely a go to in Toronto for good vibes and quality late night food! The music is always on point. Check them out on Monday night for Arabian nights with shisha and belly dancers!

Was a little hesitant based off the mixed reviews but actually had a pretty good experience! We were seated on the top floor but the servers were so nice, constantly checking in and everything had arrived pretty fast! Drinks were good but the food was a 3/5. Music was very loud so you can t really hear people at your own table but would probably go again for good vibes and drinks!

Do not go here. Food was bland, underseasoned, and overpriced. For a high end priced restaurant only having a virgin mojito and virgin caesar as mocktail options is embarrassing. I asked for the bartender to make a sour mocktail and was served what I think was just one pineapple juice and soda water. Thank you, bye. We ordered oysters, which were $30/half dozen and were smaller than your average buck a shuck, and didnt even come with spoons for the sauce. Ive had better food at a pub. Only positive was that they comped our bill.

Made the mistake of coming back to this $ithole! Big mistake! They screwed up my reservation and were complete illiterates about it! Gangsta Paradise. Apologies for the lack of a better term but my friends and I were quite perturbed during our dinner at this restaurant. It was my first time and expectations were high given all the hype about this place. Heres the reason for the 3 stars and not 1: The Good: The hostesses were super welcoming and friendly and seated us at a great table. The food was on point with a good variety we had the ribeye steak. We were served by Kennedy who was so attentive and really took care of us - outstanding service I must admit. Additionally as a former restaurateur I noticed the impeccable level of detail and thought in their design which definitely serves to create good vibes. The Bad/Ugly: Unfortunately the hard work of the staff was undone by the crowd. It turned very bloke heavy as the evening progressed which is fine, however they sat a group of very rowdy and obnoxious group of guys beside us. Their physical posturing took a turn for the worse when one of them approached our table for no reason and said that our table belonged to him and that we should leave. We were minding our own and this man unleashed verbal abuse on us for no reason. I called the manager to complain and at this point this man threatened our group with bodily harm. The security was quick to respond and Karl the head of their security took charge and calmed the nerves. However the security personnel at the restaurant was quite chummy with this group maybe because they are vip or big spenders or whatever. I have to say Ive never experienced this type of incident in the thousands of restaurants Ive been to in more than 70 countries. You cant blame the restaurant for the behavior of the crowd but you can blame the restaurant for attracting and welcoming such crowd. It was rough, distasteful and in the end a waste of time and money for us. If youre looking for a nighttime adventure then give this place a try - I expected a classier experience!

I tried the octopus it was amazing ! The food is great and atmosphere was awesome. One thing is the service is not good there s a girl Lexus, bumped into me rude to me and the bouncers aren t nice aswell. For that reason I will not be back. But the food was great , hopefully the service improves.

Whenever I m in toronto, I love coming to Mademoiselle. The staff are always amazing, and all know me by now. Food is always lovely, pricey but worth it. Great for photos, as the decor is stunning. Overall would recommend, I ve never had issues but have heard different perspectives. The photos are some of that I took, the multiple times I ve come.

I visited for drinks and dancing around 11 PM on a Friday night. The place is beautiful. We secured a booth upstairs and ordered a few bottles of white wine. The vibe was fantastic, and we enjoyed dancing to some decent house music. However, it was quite hot upstairs, and I found myself sweating. I spoke with the manager, who promptly brought over a fan to cool us down. The DJ was secluded in a corner on the other side - would ve been nice if he was more integrated to enhance the atmosphere The service was impeccable 10/10 though it was a bit warm upstairs.

Gorgeous space, but confusing execution. Food was lousy, and the entire place was wayyy too loud. Are you a restaurant? A bar? A club? All 3 at once was just not working here.

We had reservations and were not let in. Did not get to eat. Had to find somewhere else to go. No reason, the bouncer just stated no same day reservations . Then why allow the reservations on the website?

We were served by Jayla, and unfortunately, our experience fell significantly short of the five-star standard we had anticipated. Despite the restaurant being relatively empty, our food took over 45 minutes to arrive. Additionally, our drink orders were consistently forgotten. My friend was asked three times if she wanted another drink, even though she had ordered it 30 minutes earlier. Service throughout the evening was lacking; table touches were nearly non-existent, and at one point, I had to approach the bartender directly to request a drink because Jayla was nowhere to be found. This was a recurring issue until it was time to settle the bill. When we stepped out to the bathroom, Jayla came rushing after us with the debit machine, insinuating that we were not going to pay, which was both disrespectful and embarrassing. Additionally, Jayla brought over the debit machine with a pre-set amount and did not disclose that gratuity had been added to the bill. Upon returning home, I noticed that an auto-gratuity had been included without any prior notice or disclosure. We were a party of four, and it is unusual to encounter such a policy with a small group. Moreover, when I requested a receipt for business expense purposes, Jayla informed me that it was not possible to print one. This lack of transparency suggests that she might have been attempting to conceal the added gratuity to secure a larger tip. I would appreciate the opportunity to discuss this matter further.

Beware they will add gratuity to your bill without telling you, then make you fight for your receipt. Do not come here unless you want to be robbed!

I called and made a reservation on the Summer Greek night but was not told about the $200 Greek experience fee as emails are usually sent to your mailing list about the Summer Greek Nights. When I brought the additional fee up with my waitress, she didnt know how to respond and said that she was going to get the manager. 30 minutes later, the manager came over to us to let us know that the $200 charge was the price of the Hookah. That was a lie because if that was the case, the waitress wouldve have let us know that initially. Additionally, there was already a charge for Sheesha/Hookah on our bill already. The manager compasated our first round of drinks but covering a $19 drink vs a random $200 is not even comparable. We also were charged an automatic $60 gratuity for a party of 2! Their website states that gratuity is usually charged at 18% for any parties of 6 or more yet we were a party of 2 and were charged a $60 gratuity. I frequent mademoiselle often to lounge at the bar and was very disappointed at the mischief and dishonesty. Imagine going to a restaurant, having 2 appetizers, 2 drinks, and getting sheesha, and ending up with a bill over $400 that the wait staff couldnt even explain.

The decor it s pretty cool. I was there just for the drinks but they had a dining area, drinks and attractions.

The added gratuity without telling your customers is craazyyyy we were a party of 2 company policy states gratuity for 6 or more, were we dining with 4 ghosts? Not sure. The service doesn t even match the added tip as the waitress lacked the simple skills required to do her job (forgetting drink orders, food took extremely long to come out and was cold.). Pay attention to the negative reviews people! I didn t and now I regrets it. Do not come here!

Immaculate vibes. A lot of entertainment, it s a supper-club. Drinks are on the pricey side (as expected), but you can get my go-to vodka-soda for 12$. Fridays are house music!! Don t go there thinking you will have a fancy silent restaurant dinner. Go there if you want to have fun and good food.

Honestly very unimpressed. Wasn t expecting a lot out of a king street restaurant but this was far below expectations . DO NOT DINE HERE YOU HAVE BEEN WARNED.

If you want to spend your money on low-quality food while also being treated like a homeless person, this is the place to go.

Beautiful, delicious, fun!!!

The food was fresh and delicious. Served hot. Our waitress was excellent and knew her job well. We split a tomahawk steak between three, and it was cooked perfectly. As for the atmosphere, it speaks for itself.

My night couldnt have gone better thanks to the team at Mademoiselle. Not only was the staff attentive but they were extremely adaptive when more guests showed up than I had expected. They took the time to bring out sparklers and cake for my birthday and made my guests feel extremely welcome (they even held my gifts for me.) The food was stunning ( my favourite being the Tuna Tartare and Arod Roll) and the venue itself is wonderful for large parties and events. 10/10 would recommend. Thank you to the GM Michael and the entire team for making my night so special

We actually just followed a crowd in and to our surprise they were having Mediterranean Monday and we had a ball bringing in my birthday, drinks a little weak but nice.

26.06.2024 Came here for an after party for my friends birthday, ordered bottle service and everything was fine until guys from the next booth started approaching us. We tried to mind our own business, but they didn t like that we didn t pay attention to them, so one of the guys grabbed my friend by the wrist and grabbed my shoulder, saying you know who I am, right . Very confusing. I was trying to get his hands off of us and he yelled I own this place and walked away with a bunch of the other people to the second floor. Then one of his buddies tried talking with my friend, who was with her husband that night. Once she politely asked him to leave he immediately started giving her the middle finger, not once but multiple times during our stay. We tried talking to Management, unfortunately they did nothing because apparently all these men were affiliated with the owner and could do nothing. Absolutely ridiculous that the owner let himself and his friends behave this way. Absolutely sad that management can t even tell him to behave and stop harassing guests. Will never come back. If you are planning to have a great night - don t ever come here.

Rude staff- wouldn t let us back in to finish dinner!!! My blazer, my purse, my friends were up there. Moth after was harassed by a drunk group of guys who were apparently the owner with his friends. I regret I didn t call a police that night. Disgusting experiences Absolutely don t recommend!

Excellent experience ! Best steak Ive had in a long time and the service was good and our waiter very friendly and entertaining. Great spot for a date night or cocktails with girlfriends.

Had an amazing birthday, they serve caviar here 1 of 3 places I went. Love this place so elegant.

The venue is aesthetically pleasing, the DJ is really good, the atmosphere is great. Service was good. It is an expensive place for dinning, but it s one of those places, people dress well and you just have to go with that mindset. July 2024 I had an appetizers, a main course, 4-5 beers and a cocktail, with tax and tip I landed just under $200 and was satiated. Why 4 star? Quite simply, my cod fish was burned (nice crust of black carbonization) and too much salt to make up for the overcooking. The sushi I had was excellent.

Had the worst racism experience on a Monday night at this place. The bouncers wouldn t let us in because one of us were wearing shorts. Right after we walked a few steps away, another couple wearing shorts walked right into the bar and they told them right in front of us we ll let you in once they leave from here It s 2024 and I can t believe this stuff still happens. Cannot believe I went through an episode of racism in 2024. Just coz we were brown, we werent accepted in this club cause one of our friends was wearing shorts, but then they let another person in wearing shorts right after us. Got told I can t enter because I was in shorts and they have a dress code. Totally fine. But then the bouncers proceeded to tell the guy behind me don t worry you re in shorts but we will let you in once they (me and my friends) walk away. It s so clear that they don t want people of color in shorts but the white dude in shorts was just fine for them. Just check the other reviews it s not a new thing for them they seem to be known for this. If you re a KKK member it might be the best place for you though

Menu is so so. COD to salty. Branzino was good. Vine good. Atmosphere as Restoran is so so. Probably good place after 10pm to get few drinks at bar. Otherwise see no reason to comeback to this place. There is is better place to spend pleasant evening.

Last night I celebrate my family birthday our server was Ruby she was amazing and kind she explained everything about the food and helped us to pick our favourite food. The food in general was tasty we ordered chicken and fish I loved, fries was a little bit dry but in general this place worth it.

The STAFF were super friendly and nice which is always appreciated in restaurants in Toronto considering some other places are snobby and look down on you with negative assumptions of how you look. The FOOD was DELISH!! lobster spaghetti 10/10 as well as the Tuna tartare and mussels!! ATMOSPHERE is gorgeous! good music, nice decor, and washrooms were clean and great for pictures! Wow this Restaurant was Gorgeous, I think it s safe to say it s only a vibe when they have an event my experience was nuts, now I understand the rating . I thought it was the food NOPE the food was amazing the problem is the waiters toke forever to do everything because she s to busy talking with her fellow waitresses, we went on a night where it wasn t busy and was basically ignored, I m a whole LEO and couldn t get her attention, it was my friends birthday, the food wait time was long mind me there was a total of 6 ppl in there and only we ordered food, the food time toke so long to come out we clearly ordered drinks to pass time, as night went on it s time to pay everything was fine, we paid and was waiting again another hour to get the bill and to pack up are food my friend laid down less then 3 minutes after here comes a big security guard from the door on us cussing her to get up making her feel defensive he was very disrespectful made her get loud, he did bring her some water then was taking are $70 drinks that we already paid for off the table we where not done yet, he basically kick us out because we where waiting 100 years to get are bill and food wrap up and I would never ever come to this restaurant ever again, like wow not worth it at all. You guys need to train your security guard how to speak with woman period,he shouldn t be hovering over us like he s got a weapon, and screaming at woman on her birthday at that, he clearly doesn t respect his mother or his girl and should never be getting that close or speaking to anyone like that period. One of the first restaurants Ive tried in Toronto and it was amazing. Ive heard the female servers are extremely rude but we had a male server who was really friendly and never made us feel rushed. The food and drinks were delicious. I tried a couple different types of sushi and had an espresso martini. I look forward to coming back.

I loved everything, the atmosphere, the food and the service.

I was at Mademoiselle last weekend with some co workers in town. We so badly wanted to like this place but we re let down. Food was mildly passable, service was fine but the clientele we encountered were a mix between what we thought were drug king pins, wannabes and women that are attracted to that demographic. The manager told us they recently started enforcing a dress code to keep the riff raff out but that they were having issues enforcing it. With so many options in the city, I don t want to be scared going out for dinner and spending upwards of $1000. Will stick to yorkville going forward.

I dont like the reservation system at all! I booked a table on the phone and I MENTIONED we may arrive a little late so please keep our spot and they said ok, but they didnt.

Good place to visit in the evening

I went with my friends for my bday dinner, there was five of us, we had a reservation and they got us one small table. We were all struggling trying to make the appetizers and drinks fit. We ordered the mademoiselle platter as the main course which couldn t fit on the table and on top of that when the food came, everything was cold. Only thing we had that tasted really good was the oysters, other than that Won t even mention about the music selection definitely not coming back to this spot.

This review is specifically for Mediterranean Monday s: Overall, atmosphere of the restaurant is great. Gorgeous decor, didn t mind the crowd. Staff were so lovely, service was pretty good. Our waiter made great recommendations. Food was decent. Music: it s not really Mediterranean night if it was mainly house music. I think it depends on the DJ, but it was mainly English and house with the exception of some Arabic songs that seemed like they were played because they re trending on TikTok. If you re middle eastern expecting full on Arabic music, you won t find it here. I would give Monday a 4/10, perhaps a regular day would be better! Not a fan of house music, but if you are, the DJ is pretty smooth and creative with the transitions and lighting.

Very few places I have been to are run this well and are this fun, where you can eat great quality food, have drinks, and even party into the later hours. Regrettably, my recent experience at Mademoiselle Restaurant fell far below expectations, primarily due to the disrespectful and discourteous behavior exhibited by the staff. Despite the allure of the establishments ambiance and cuisine, the treatment my family and I received was deeply disappointing and disheartening. Upon arrival at the restaurant with my service dog, we were met with unwarranted resistance from the security personnel stationed at the front door. Despite explaining the necessity of my service animal, we were abruptly denied entry, with no consideration or accommodation offered. The manner in which we were treated was not only disrespectful but also reflected a blatant disregard for basic human decency and legal rights. The attitude displayed by the staff throughout this encounter was nothing short of disgraceful. Their lack of empathy and unwillingness to adhere to fundamental principles of inclusivity and respect left a lasting impression of disdain and disillusionment. As a result of this distressing experience, I have no intention of patronizing Mademoiselle Restaurant in the future, nor can I in good conscience recommend it to others. In conclusion, while Mademoiselle Restaurant may boast an appealing facade, the deplorable conduct of its staff tarnishes any semblance of charm or sophistication. Until meaningful steps are taken to address and rectify the issues of discrimination and disrespect, I cannot in good faith endorse or support this establishment. UPDATE: The business seemed to respond saying that they follow the law allowing service dogs however when I was there security told me that regardless of my dog being a service dog or not, it is private property and dogs of all kinds are not allowed. Funny how they take the time to respond but don t even read the review

The overall atmosphere of the restaurant is nice I was there for drinks I didn t try the food it looked and smelled delicious. The upstairs bar has poor service and takes forever to order a drink. The bartender with the tattoos on his arms and neck was NOT friendly and was purposely serving others avoiding to take my drink order. First time going to this place I must say I wasn t my fav very pretentious crowd. Not the best vibe in the city.

My wife and I dined at Mademoiselle for our 20th Anniversary, and we had an excellent time. The food was AMAZING , the service was A+ and the atmosphere was awesome. We are already planning our next visit.

3stars for the atmosphere 5 stars for the food quality 2 stars for the price-super expensive 1.5 stars for the one waitress who was being rude because she had to serve a table with black patrons. Funny thing is she didn t realized she was dealing with lawyers, nurses, chemists and more. Yet she thought she was better than us. Made my birthday a little uncomfortable and upsetting but we shrugged it off and requested for another waitress who was absolutely amazing and worthy of the tip.

Having visited this venue a couple of times in the last 2 years, I can say with confidence that the staff/customer service has only gotten WORSE and their prices are far too high. The last time I was there was really just the last straw for me. I dont know who you people think you are but the group I came with was treated embarrassingly bad. We kept being told we couldnt take videos (were there to have a good time and were spending money, who are you to tell us we cant take videos?), couldnt go by the dj booth (but shortly after another group went). The level of pettiness and entitlement was absolutely sickening. You should consider training your staff and teaching them to show some respect towards your guests. If Mademoiselles customer service is the new normal for the hospitality/nightlife industries, we should honestly just have the parties at our own houses.

Owner is a weirdo and very rude. No one bats an eye when they see it because they want to keep their job.

Great atmosphere, excellent food and service. Very good wine selection. Everything is delicious, and the lobster spaghetti is very memorable - the pasta tastes freshly made and the bite is exceptionally good. The peanut butter bar is also a good choice for dessert and has a good balance of sweet and salty.

The customer service from the waiter honestly was the worst I ve experienced in a while. I went to celebrate my birthday with friends and the waiter left us with nothing good to say. The food was mid. This restaurant is purely for aesthetics.

Had family visiting from the states and brought them to Mademoiselle to celebrate their birthday. The service was bad, food cold, all came out very far apart, the waitress did not even know we were celebrating a birthday that s how disconnected the experience was. Our seats were in a corner and no one paid us any attention. From the time our plates were taken to being able to pay totalled a wait time of 1 hr 15 mins. Twice their Pin pads did not work (rebooted) then our waitress would disappear for another 30 plus minutes after each attempt. I regret taking my out of town guests to Mademoiselle and ruining their birthday dinner. I do not recommend.

Went there with a group of friends and the complete worst customer service we have ever experienced in life! we were all visitors to toronto & this place was highly recommended to us but sadly from the beginning to the end we were treated so poorly. The bouncers made it known they were segregating us due to our BLACK skin & did not acknowledge our reservation and let around 50 people in before us while we were put to the side until space was made . Once finally allowed in we were yelled at to walk faster as if they were bothered by us getting in. In the middle of the dinner i had stepped out to give a friend an ID & was yelled at by all workers in the front about be disturbing with my in & out of restaurant. food was great but would NOT recommend for BLACK AND COLOURED PEOPLE as they seem they only want a particular group of people in even though my friends and I spent over 4k.

Had a dinner here for my wedding with the crew. Owner came out and provided the whole table with drinks on the house. Memorable night for sure! Thank you!

Honestly, eat before you go here. Do not expect top quality food. I got served the worst shrimp cocktail I have ever tasted in my life - how do you mess up such a simple dish? Slow service but the waitresses are overworked, so. I would return for drinks only.

I decided to drop into this club on Thursday Jan 25/2024 around 1:00 am to order a drink at the bar. At the time the owner of the bar was doing a performance on the bar whereby he was opening a large bottle of champagne. At the end of his performance he decides to take a chair at the bar and put it down on the floor beside where I was standing. He then proceeds to push this chair in front of me and purposefully pushes me out of the way with the chair and at which time I fell backwards onto the ground, Bystanders around me that witnessed this event helped me up in shock and the owner Peter just walked off like nothing happened! I am shocked and applauded at how an owner of a club can treat a customer this way! This is absolutely disgusting! Jeffrey thank you for responding to my post. The food is good, and the service is OK but must be better, especially for a place with those prices. The worst of all is that they give you a maximum amount of time that you can be at the table and after that you most leave. When we complained, they said we could go after to the bar area upstair to continue our celebration. When the time allocated to us expired we were told we had to vacate the table (even when we were still ordering), then when we tried going to the bar upstairs, we were told by security that we cannot stay on that area because it was reserved. So basically, they lied to us, and that killed our experience at this place. If you plan to go there, keep in mind that your time will be limited even if you are still ordering, and despite the hundreds of dollars bill you will always get at this place

My friends hair caught on fire and the manager escorted us out in order to not cause a scene.

If you cannot offer reservations after 12 am stop taking them on open table. Security asked if I have a reservation..I didn t, I made one on open table and he still didn t let me in. Tried to take this issue to management no one bothered replying. Haven t visited since then. Edit- this did not happen this past weekend. There wasn t a line up outside the bouncer just didn t want to let us in because we made the reservation on the spot.

Despite the horror stories I went to this resturaunt to grab a bite/drink. Could not be in the establishment for more than 10 minutes. It smells so fishy - keep in mind they serve a lot of seafood but this was not normal, it engulfs the place. People s body heat in addition to the fishy smell is a terrible combination. They should improve ventilation to manage the stench.. Also, replies from this establishment under poor google reviews are so unprofessional/childish, it s laughable

Fun late night place.

We went for dinner for valentines date last night with my husband. We reserved the table in advance and paid for it the day before to secure the table as they asked us. But yet we had to wait for 40 minutes, weve got one each complimentary champagne but still we were hungry as we reserved it for 8:30 and we had the table as 9:10, plus we still have to wait for the food to be served, kinda disappointed for this. Whats the use of reserving and paying in advanced if you have to wait. Food is great though. Music is too loud that we cant hear each other, we were expecting to be a bit less loud the music. Tips is mandatory and they dont give you options wether you liked it or not, we love to give tips if we are happy about the service but in here its already included and you must pay it, which cost almost 50$. Not coming back ever again.

My friends and I came here to celebrate birthdays. The birthday girl and I enjoy all kinds of seafood and my other friend only has an allergy to fish and shrimp, which we did not order in order to accommodate his allergy. Our server noted the allergy at the beginning of our sitting. When the food came out, it was amazing. Everything arrived one after the other and every bite tasted delicious. We were eagerly digging in until the birthday girl suddenly noticed there was a shrimp on top of the dish. We immediately notified our servers, who said a manager would come over to assess the situation. My friend went to get some allergy medication as he started to get an allergic reaction. In this time, no manager came to our table. All the dishes were cleared and our water glasses were empty. The manager finally came over and asked if we were going to order another bottle and said if not, they had another reservation at the table so we needed to leave. This response was shocking- it was completely unprofessional and irresponsible. We eventually got our bill. Thankfully, the restaurant took the dish in question out from our bill and one server offered us free dessert but at that point, we felt the establishment didn t care about our needs so we wanted to leave. I expect more from a restaurant charging $100 for one cocktail. Beware of this restaurant s lack of sensibility and care for their patrons. I m just glad my friend is okay and don t get me wrong- the food was amazing. Which is such a shame because the management handled this situation so poorly. As you can see from my photo, they noted the allergy so there is no excuse for this experience. Edit: In the owners response, they had to make mention of the exclusive alcohol used in their restaurant (B10 Belvedere) which, I have to add, has a far less rigorous filtration process than its competition, Grey Goose. I get it - they have patrons who are willing to spend a lot of money. Cool. What does that have to do with the fact that their kitchen put shrimp in TWO dishes we ordered after telling your servers we have a shrimp allergy? And then, your manager had the audacity to tell us we need to leave to make space for another reservation when we were already waiting for our bill... It would appear the owner is missing more than one point here. They say, Money cant buy you class and that point is made astonishingly clear at Mademoiselle, another mismanaged establishment in Toronto where you clearly cant pay to get good hospitality either.

Right from the moment we stepped in, we felt unwelcome. We are a group of three brown individuals, and it seemed like we were racially profiled. The coat check and security took forever, and we had to ask multiple times for a table. Eventually, we were given a corner table, and the waitress/hostess took a considerable amount of time to attend to us. Mind you, we weren t asked for another round of drinks or food. I understand if you d like to frame this as a high-class resto-bar; however, we shouldn t have been judged by our skin tone or race. I mean, why would we step in if we couldn t afford this? We are white-collar working professionals, and we dressed up decently enough to attend this place. On a positive note, we thoroughly enjoyed the music and ambiance of this place!

During my recent trip to Canada, I met up with a friend for dinner, but unfortunately, the experience left much to be desired. From the moment we arrived, the reception from the staff was quite unpleasant. They were dismissive and deliberately mispronounced my friends name, claiming they had no record of our reservation. Eventually, we were seated, but the server was disorganized and kept forgetting our orders. While the food was enjoyable, the steep price of over $400 for two people was hard to justify. When it was time to leave, I encountered an issue retrieving my coat. Despite providing detailed information about it, including the brand, color, and the hanger number I had photographed earlier due to their lack of coat passes, the staff insisted on further proof, even questioning the coats size. This seemed unnecessary, especially considering the restaurant was nearly empty, and it felt as though they were singling us out. I almost left without my coat because our Uber was waiting! Phone came on after I charged a bit, showed them photo and they went oh it s really yours. The entire ordeal left me with the impression that our treatment was influenced by racial bias. we wouldn t be accused of potential coat theft if we weren t black women. I cannot in good conscience recommend this place. Additionally, the restaurant had an unpleasant odor, and the cocktail was terrible!

My meal was delicious. I ordered the chicken tryffle with fingerling potatoes. The portion was good and the price was reasonable compared to other items on the menu. The service on the other hand was disappointing. The servers were not friendly ( perhaps we didnt look like high rollers). My friends had ordered a selection of appetizers and I had ordered a main dish. I had asked that they be served at the same time. My request was disregarded and I ended up waiting while my friends ate. I had to remind the servers, there was no apology forthcoming. All in all, for the prices of their food and beverages, they need to better train their staff to exceed the expectations of their customers.

Celebrated a friends birthday here. Food was honestly amazing. I was actually surprised. Lobster mac and cheesed was to die for, steak and lamb chops cooked perfectly medium. Service was top-notch.

Its a nice dinner spot until 9pm. We enjoyed our dinner time quietly with attentive service but everything changed from 10pm. From 10pm, they turn the music high, lots of party people start coming in, and shortly your server is gone missing for a while. We wanted to order a dessert and ask for a check to get out of there but, had to wait for a long time to order the dessert & bill and the restaurant was not even fully seated. Id say, sushi rolls & branzino were excellent caviar baked potato was tiny and felt overpriced. The other foods were moderately ok considering the price. If you want to dress up and take a lot of IG photos, this is the spot.
