Amazing food. Large portions!
Googled fish and chips this place came uo when walked in everyone gave us dirty looks and lady behind counter snarled. Do not come here! No fish and chips here

Value. I have been eat octopus whenever I can for a long time and Morning Star wins the octowar. I got the large serving which seemed preposterously large 2 large tentacles on a platter of boiled potatoes, carrots and broccoli. I never have understood how some places screw this up: boil octopus until tender. Then grill. The octopus and veg were great. The ambience is of a Portuguese neighborhood bar: zero pretension. The service was super friendly and the price…under $40 for giant serving and large draft and 18% tip. I’ll be back

HiI had a good time, going to get brunch with my girlfriend, we enjoyed ourselves and very much enjoyed our server Jemekaa. She showed us some wonderful things we can take pictures of. Overall it was a 10/10, definitely recommend.

Amazingly affordable serious meals. The grilled squid came with a fabulous garlicky sauce.

Must have gone on an off day. The beef a casa hit my plate before hitting the grill. A matter of fact we had 8 beef a Casas at the table only one was cooked properly. First and last time......

Great food at unbelievably low prices. $12 for steak with fried egg and hand cut fries. Comes included a bowl of olives and a basket of bread. Amazing service from Fatima. Thank you.

A horrible experience. The lady who served me and my friends had no sympathy at all, it seemed like the world was against her. I brought an already opened bottle. The food was horrible and poorly served. When I asked for the bill, he told me straight away. Until I told you, bring me broken down. I do not recommend this l9cala to anyone.

Tiny gem hidden away while worth the visit
Not a large menu, most items (if not all) start with Grilled meat of some kind. When I asked if they had Pepsi the waitress said yes, immediately followed by only gingerale or sprite. They seemed disorganized and not too pleasant. Food itself was good. Seems they brought their children to hang out at one of the tables unsupervised. Great for the regulars I suppose.

Decent, Decent, Decent!!! No Toronto attitude, just good people making an honest living in this Cantina. Fantastic prices. Cosy. Tucked away from the maddening crowds. 99 % non-vegetarian( in case you needed to know.)

Real home cooked food! Every week they have a special dish prepared. Last week it was quail, the week before it was rabbit. One of the citys best kept secrets! draft 2.50. Lunch 13.00. Bring your apetite, the portions are big.
Fantastic Portugese restaurant very remotely and quietly located. Very good prices with even better portions. Great alcohol selection and amazing food. Would highly recommend!
It s was very upsetting to call the restaurant to ask for information and be treated poorly on the phone. My child has allergies and my family was making a reservation to go there. The woman that answered the phone was very rude. As bad as my Portuguese is her English was no better, she bluntly told me that if my daughter has allergies to feed her pizza or French fries and hung the phone up on me. I have never been treated so badly by any restaurant when I call to get information. I will never step foot in that restaurant ever. Very Angry
