A big shout out to some of the amazing staff there including DK Tyler Sean, Natalie and the rest of the staff. The food was so hot and the atmosphere was friendly and inviting any questions I had were quickly answered and they seemed engaged in making my evening amazing. Vegetarian options: Polenta mushroom many salads all look amazing.

Its unpleasant. They admonished us about Canadian tipping because we looked Asian. And they laughed behind my back. Seeing that other Koreans have written similar reviews, it appears to be obvious racism. I have not seen kindness anywhere else. Very rude. They arbitrarily took my friends money and forced a tip of over 20%. If you provide poor customer service and ignore them, do you deserve a tip? We came to Canada as exchange students, and this is our first time at a restaurant with such bad service. Please go to another restaurant nearby. Especially Koreans.. Don t go anywhere due to Instagram gambling or other nearby restaurants because there are long waits.. We did that too and got a big nose injury.. The food is also crappy.. Bye . If the staff hasnt been replaced, I recommend not to go.

Chic and classy ambiance. The plants are a vibe. Food and cocktails are on point. Our server Christina was absolutely lovely and went above and beyond for us. I will be a repeat customer for life. Highly recommend.

The wife and I went by Paris Paris last night. We were super impressed with the food, atmosphere, and service. Extraordinary wine list and 10/10 on the steak frites. Will be back!

What a wild ride, I guess we shouldve looked at the other reviews before coming here but we went in due to their HH sign for 50% off bottles of wine (which turns out to be only on bottles over $100, which are few and far between). We really wanted bubbly and there were no $100 options...one for $95 which the server promptly said no to apply it to the happy hour and walked away immediately to give us a min without us wanting a minute. No biggie, we just got a glass instead of a bottle. This started our short lived journey with Kayla. The biggest and most comedic point to this visit was Kayla. Kayla was not only rude and miserable to us from the get go but she also hated every other table she served. Dragging her feet that echoed throughout the restaurant and hating every moment of her life as well as hating every table (including us) that she served. I have never seen anything like it before. We only stayed for the shortest amount of time due to how uncomfortable it was to be served by her and to see how she served other guests. I hope Kayla can find happiness, peace and enjoyment in life cause it sure isnt at Paris Paris. Unfortunate as the place seems like it has potential, hope they find some people to care about the place.

Food was awful for the price. Worth about half, the server was underdressed and didn t say excuse me/wasn t polite and didn t check on us for even water. Take your family/loved ones elsewhere

Horrible food. Ordered a charcuterie and got a tiny plate (as seen in the image) that was not aesthetic at all. Some very primitive-looking pickled veggies, a few inconveniently-sliced blocks of cheese, and some salami. Very small and nothing special for $30.

The Sea Bream and Calimari, Fois Gras, Mushroom Enduve Polenta with the best Prosecco ever. I dont normally leave reviews because I am more often than not, disappointed. my experience at Paris Paris was not the case. it was neither a waste of time or money. we were greated and made to feel welcome by the lovely gm, elle, who from the start made it her mission to make sure our experience would be a memorable one. The service was brilliant and food exceptional, we dined on the beef tartar and the lobster spaghetti. the wine paring suggested by our service Jana was perfect. with such a vast wine list its nice to see staff trained and knowledge in their product. we will definitely revisit Paris Paris on our next visit to Toronto.

I sincerely cannot say enough about my experience here. I attended a wedding yesterday here which was absolutely stunning. The atmosphere is beautiful and the food was incredible!! The staff were kind, generous, thoughtful and attentive. Every single thing we ate was incredible. The food was served family style which was super cute and nice. I truly had the best time and will drive over an hour again to come here. Thank you so much!

Went here today for drinks but left after one as the service was terrible. Staff have no interest in coming over to begin with, and then the waitress for our table was very rude. Attitude was appalling, seemed like she couldnt be bothered to service us and made no effort to come over at any point to check if needed anything else. At the end no thank you or goodbye, just walked away from table after taking payment. Wouldnt recommend this place

Though the atmosphere was quite pleasant, the food was overpriced for the quality, and unfortunately, the service was lacking. We had to signal a bartender to ask our server to come take our order, as no one checked in on us. Meanwhile, the table next to us received prompt attention, including being offered water and regular check-ins. Our experience felt neglected unless we actively sought assistance.

My four girlfriends and I dined at Paris Paris this past Friday (Oct 4) for a bachelorette dinner between 8:30-10:00pm and unfortunately we had a terrible experience because of our sever. Didn t catch her name but she had brown hair, blue eyes and was just miserable from the start. Shes wasn t knowledgeable of the menu and rolled her eyes when we asked questions about which dishes to try. Then she lied about the auto gratuity policy and insisted a table of five required a 20% when the website stated tables of 6 or more. When billing out, she prompted the machine to 20% and when I challenged her, she insisted until I asked the manager . All in all, won t be be back and do not recommend. There are much better places on ossington with regards to service and food.

The food was mostly just ok (for the price), but they had a really really good lobster pasta dish. Its also a beautiful location and good service. But given the price I could understand someone not enjoying it.

Came here for brunch, it s a nice place and the food was ok. But the staff were not friendly especially the receptionist, giving me attitude because it s almost last call. And when I was trying to take photos of the bar where close to the entrance, this guy not sure if he s a server or bartender he s like be careful when you take pictures like be careful of what? This place looks nice but that s about it, food is meh, staff are rude, won t be coming back.

I visited for the first time last week, and it was a terrible experience. Don t get me started on the $12 charge for a small can of beer it s a total rip-off. Despite the pleasant ambiance, the food was disappointing, and they seem dishonest. The charges on the receipt didn t match the menu prices. I ordered a breakfast sandwich that tasted bland and appeared to have just been thawed. To make matters worse, the menu listed the sandwich at $19, but my receipt showed a charge of $22, plus an additional $2 for regular condiments. When I questioned this, the waitress was rude and condescending. Im glad I checked the receipt; otherwise, I might have missed the overcharge entirely.

Great atmosphere for a weeknight, busy but not too busy, and warm and attentive service. However, the food was awful. I tried the chicken, the shrimp, and the bread / butter. The shrimp was nasty, and I ate one and left the rest of the plate (sorry, nasty is really the only word I could use to describe it). The chicken was edible, but too salty. And for the bread I expected a lot more. It was too chewy, the crust was not crunchy at all, and it was just unfulfilling. The butter was good though, Id eat that again. I would only recommend going here to get a drink after work and sit on the patio or something. Do not eat here, you will be disappointed.

Went to Paris Paris yesterday and everything was perfection. Earlier in the day it had rained but cleared up so when we got to the restaurant the greeter was kind enough to check whether the patio was dry and even wiped the table and chair for us. The server was very attentive and checked on us multiple times without it feeling overbearing. The food was very delicious. We got the arugula salad, the corn croquet, beef tartare, bread + butter, oysters, calamari. The stand outs were definitely the salad and the croquet. The beef tartare could have used a little more flavour. However overall it was all delicious. Definitely would go back some time soon!

I visited this place for a drink with a friend. It was nearly empty, we chose to sit on the patio, which was also more than half vacant. Despite the lack of customers, the waitstaff displayed a lot of attitude and seemed incredibly rushed. The prices were steep, with glasses of wine priced at $16 and $19. What made the experience truly unpleasant was the feeling that the staff was eager to get rid of us they aggressively cleared our plates. But the icing on the cake? Despite the ample empty seating, they seated a couple at the same table as us. I had lots of shopping bags on the bench next to me, leaving no room, and frankly, I didn t want to deal with it anymore, so we decided to leave. The couple seemed embarrassed and kept apologizing as we left. A poor decision by the staff ended up ruining the experience for four customers, definitely can t recommend this place.

Trendy bar serving all sorts of drinks but with the menu mainly concentrating on wine. We stopped for a quick drink (old fashioned) which was made well, if a tad too sweet. They do also serve food and theres also outdoor seating too.

Paris, Paris located on the trendy Ossington strip between Dundas W and Queen W is a large, open atmosphere wine bar with the largest patio on the strip. I attended with a couple of high school buddies who were new to the whole vibe in my neighborhood and I wanted to ensure we all had a great time. Service was the highlight of our visit with Natalie, our server, providing impeccable service with a fantastic sense of humour combined with a professional demeanor. I ordered a bottle of red Portuguese Douro on Natalies recommendation and it was superb after about 45 minutes of decanting. My friends ordered beer and seemed quite satisfied. We actually didnt eat a lot with my one friend ordering steak tartare that he really enjoyed. Only room for improvement would be more diversified wine offerings especially some of the amazing 2016/2019 Bordeaux, and Spanish Riojas that are available at reasonable prices. A great evening and highly recommended any time of year. Thanks, Natalie!!

Not impressed with this place at all. I was surprised considering it s always packed. The drinks are pretty pricey (what isn t anymore though ). The menu offered spritz and a snack, I was expecting a more elegantly plated snack and a slightly bigger portion. I instead, received a paper cup with 4 olives. We also ordered the Burrata, which does NOT come with bread. Literally just burrata slapped on a plate. So we had to order bread which was hard as a rock and impossible to bite into let alone enjoy. The bread contained seasoning that did NOT go with the burrata, so I m not sure what they expect you to eat the cheese with. And the waiter was rude. For two drinks and cheese with toast the meal was over $100. Not a place would return to or suggest to anyone, unless I don t like them.

My coworkers and I came here for dinner after work and as a large group we had to order from a price fixed menu. There s house bread with whipped butter, beef tartare, a salad, fries, peri-peri roast chicken and shrimp. The house bread is thick sliced and multigrain, pretty difficult to bite for me the beef tartare and shrimps were pretty salty for everyone at the table. We ve got one piece of chicken and one piece of shrimp per person. Not sure if that s worth $55/person but the restaurant service and environment sure was nice!

I was disappointed in the place. Food was okay but nothing to write home about. There were no other customers in the place since they just opened up for the day. I didnt want alcoholic beverages just water. They gave a four ounce glass of warm water and that was it. I felt the prices were a little steep.

I came here strictly for the food, not the drinks. OMG! Unpopular opinion, but the Roasted Chicken was out of this world, with the Grilled Argentine Shrimp as a close runner-up!

Our exerience at Paris Paris with their pre-fixed family style menu was excellent! Their reservation manager Maisie was excellent at coordinating our large party reservation for my friend s bachelorette dinner and she was quick to respond to questions and emails. The food was pleantiful, flavourful, and delcious, everyone left full and satisfied! The resturant had a great vibe, however it is on the louder side so it was a bit difficult to talk to everyone at the table. Overall it was a great time and would definitely go back again!

This is a great place to have a bite and drink with some friends. We tried the beef tartare, fried calamari, with the arugula salad which were such great combos (bonus with our cocktails). We were very fulfilled and would come back again in the late evenings when the sun sets!

Almost everything on the menu was very expensive. My friend and I had drinks ($20 for a basic cocktail) and fries, and later had dinner somewhere else. The music was too loud.

Paris Paris always has the best hospitality! The staff are attentive and friendly. Cocktails and wine selection are great! The patio is huge and fun in summer. Best location - right in the heart of Ossington!

So if you want to come here for food, you better pick another place. My friend and I didnt know that it is a WINE BAR when we arrived there because from the street it looks like a restaurant. On the menu it said that the items were shareable; however, when the dishes arrived, the portions were sooo small. For the price they charge we expected something bigger and better. Like yeah, it tasted good but definitely not enough if youre hungry and sharing. And again, pricey. Also, the menu list is very short too. Thats why only 3 stars for the food. The wine list was good, though. Plus they had a promotion. Something like all the bottles are half price before 5:30. That was nice. The service was okay. Not the best but not terrible. We also ordered the selection of cheeses but when I asked the server what the cheeses were (cheeses names), he didnt know that, so again, 3 stars for the service. Could be better. I liked the atmosphere and interior design, though. Plus it looked liked they had a huge patio, so maybe its a good spot for day drinking in summer. Not sure if I want to come back but overall I give 4 stars (in fact 3.5).

I gave a 5 star review for my first visit, see below. Im downgrading to 4 stars, because my second visit was quite disappointing. My second visit was more like a 2.5star visit. Black cod and roasted chicken were cooked well, but way over seasoned. It was pretty much inedible. The black cod dish didnt come together on many fronts. The sauce was burnt, causing it to taste bitter. Also the lentils do not go well the fish. _____________________________________ Came here as a party of 11. First and foremost, the service was impeccable. She was very attentive and friendly. She was always available within minutes for drink orders. Did a great job of clearing the table between courses. New table setting for everyone between courses. We ordered four of each of the following dishes and had it family style; warmed olives, bread, charcuterie, salad, grilled vegetables, tuna, Argentine shrimp, beef tartar, fries and chicken. Everything was pretty good. But surprisingly, the chicken was the star. It came out hot. It was very moist, even the white meat. The flavor was really good. It was a bit spicy for a couple of people who arent spicy food eaters. The chocolate mousse and merengue desserts were good too. The interior is very well designed - feels very open and airy. The potential negatives would be that its quite loud inside - hard to have a conversation without feeling like you are in a nightclub. Also, its a bit pricey, but doesnt feel overpriced.

Went for lunch, the atmosphere is beautiful, and great location. But the server failed to ask if it was our first time there and when we ordered our entre, it was $28 for 1/2 chicken with no sides. The food was also very salty. I wasn t impressed.

Friends and I walked in without a reso on a busy night and were instantly sat which was nice! Drinks were brought out quickly after ordering, and the server asked if we were ready to order food to which we replied we need a couple more minutes. Not sure what a couple means to her but she did not come back for about another 20 minutes. I myself did not order anything to eat, however my friends food was apparently very mediocre and not justifiable for the prices. After dropping off the food, the server did not come back around to ask how the food was or if we needed anything else, also despite multiple empty glasses on the table. After about 45 minutes of waiting for her to come back I actually had to leave for other plans and ended up having my friend cover my tab for me. Nice patio and overall atmosphere, but the very casual vibe we got did not justify most of the prices.

I went to read while it wasn t busy and though being left alone to read is lovely I had to flag the waitress down to order food (she seemed surprised) and I had to ask for my bill twice despite being empty. Had I gotten better service I would have spent more time and ordered much more. I ordered their tomato salad with Barata cheese and a half order of bread. The total of these three things came to $41.50 pre tax which is a bit obnoxious. Formal, intricate dinner places don t serve such cost high meals. With a 4oz glass of wine and tip, the bill came to ~$81.00. It was good, but price alone is why I will not be going again.

This place was okay. Everyone has been saying to go here and it was fine. Food here is okay very basic but it was good. I got the arugula salad that was rlly good! I would just come here for drinks next time they have a selection. The service was okay, server was a bit slow getting our order. It s on a great street lots of shops around.

Went on Monday around mid afternoon and service was terrible. We got seated right away but we didn t get any server approach us until we asked for one. They didn t offer water until the nice blonde lady came by. Then our supposed server asked if we also wanted water. We didn t get served for 30 mins after getting seated while they sat other customers, they immediately served them. Super disappointed with the sub par service. Drinks were ok but charcuterie was mediocre at best.

Hosted my birthday at Paris Paris on a Saturday and had the price fixe menu. Was very impressed with the amount of food and the fantastic service for my guests. Will definitely host more events with them in the future

I organized dinner for 11 women at Paris Paris as part of my sister s bachelorette celebrations and we couldn t have picked a better spot! The set menu was incredible with so much food (oysters, hamachi and beef tartare were standouts). And service was impeccable (thank you Hannah!). Thank you to reservations manager Maisie for being so communicative with details. I ll definitely be back and would recommend to anyone for a fun and delicious meal in Toronto.

Good restaurant We were looking forward to the fries. It was ok.. Nothing like the fries you got at Manita or Union. From both restaurants that was the true frites.. Calamari was really good and the breakfast and the Ruben sandwich was good. Overall thumbs Food : 4/5

Had my sister s bachelorette dinner there and it was a 10/10. The food was amazing, and they went above and beyond to help accommodate all food restrictions. Looking forward to going back soon. The atmosphere is pleasant, an overall good environment to catch up with friends and perhaps have a drink. However, the food was incredibly disappointing. We ordered the beef tartare, deep fried calamari, and a butchers cut steak frites to share. The beef tartare was too oily and too finely chopped, creating a mushy texture and greasiness that resembles a raw dumpling filling, and a flavour profile that completely masks the taste of the beef. The bread that came with our tartare was also burnt (All you could taste was oil and burnt toast). The steak frites were overly salty, and the steak was overcooked (we asked for medium rare and received medium well). Not to mention, the potatoes were incredibly oily (their frites are more like chips/crisps - kind of like thin hickory sticks). The calamari was the only decent dish but still disappointing for the price we paid. The calamari tasted as if it was in the fridge or freezer for some time, not fresh at all. Luckily, it was accompanied by some delicious deep fried cauliflower (In all honesty, I could order deep fried cauliflower as a standalone dish). Not much to say about the service, as everybody was friendly and attentive. However, nobody went above and beyond either. Overall, not my favourite place in the City. Especially at this price point, you could get way more satisfying meals and drinks in the city for less.

I ordered a Campari Soda: the first round had too much soda and a little quantity of Campari. The second round was better because I asked for the cocktail to be stronger. So, if you go through the same situation, be ready to ask. My friends ordered white wine, an aperol spritz and beers. Everything fine. Then we went for some sourdough bread with creamy butter and a portion of black and green olives. It took so long (at least 20-25 minutes) that we had to remind it to the staff members twice. Let s think about it. There was nothing to be cooked in that order. It could take less, just olives, butter and bread. It maybe was a complicated day. Nevertheless, the staff had always a very kind attitude. The atmosphere was chilly, so well decorated. A bit lousy, but great. Good prices.

Great atmosphere, service and wine! I was wary from the reviews but I truly find them unfounded. My server Daniel was amazing with his outstanding wine knowledge and recommendations. Due to him, the wine we chose paired so well with the meal I ordered. Definitely will be coming back!

What can i say about this place? Sometimes you have expectations and sometimes theyre exceeded! Thats where paris paris comes in. The place is twice as nice as paris, just as the names suggests. The drinks are as warm and as inviting as the staff who will not only draw you in with their siren like personalities. Theyll keep you the with great service and a menu too good to be true. Want to surpeise that special lady in your life? Bring her here. If paris paris got any more legendary they would have a repuration that would rival those of the greek gods of Athens. What a wonderful place. Im here often.

Had my birthday dinner with 16 people in total, and Paris Paris did not disappoint. We had a set menu which was very reasonably priced with copious amounts of food. Great, attentive service for such a large group. Highly recommend!!!

One of my favourite restaurant in Toronto, Oyster and beef tartar is worth it to try here.

It the worst dinner in my life. We ordered calamar and Lobster pasta and they called it sharing plates. But the lobster pasta is so small for sharing and the price is 58 dollars for 8 small pieces of Lobster. We spent more than 100 dollar for one appetiser and one main dish and one non alcoholic drink and one beer. The prices are ridiculous. The server girl was rude and came for us just one time, because of that we couldn t say anything about our dishes before. This restaurant left us very disappointed.

We said we wanted a cake for surprise! The guy brines in plates and forks before being the cake! Lol

I loved my dinner at Paris Paris! The food was exceptional and the service amazing. Everything was so tasty, never felt happier! Great atmosphere, enjoyed every moment! I will highly recommend this place to family and friends, and Im returning soon to celebrate my birthday in April.

Shared a charcuterie plate. For $30, it was not worth it. 3 tiny pieces of cheese & assorted meats. No olives, fruit or nuts as is the offering with these shared plates. Very disappointing.

The food was very tasty!

Was excited to try this place after hearing good things, but the food was borderline inedible (which at this price point is pretty preposterous). My boyfriend said his pasta dish tasted like someone ashed their cigarette on spaghetti and my $30 maitake mushroom wasn t much better. The girl running the front desk was slow and seemed pretty incompetent, and service after that was minimal and impersonal. The worst part may have been the atrocious lighting in the whole space that made everything on our plates the same unappetizing yellow colour we couldn t even tell what was what in our meals. We were in and out in 20 minutes flat. Really did not feel like the Valentine s Day date night we were hoping for.

They will serve you dirt in your wine and then try to gaslight you into thinking it s normal. We have drank a lot of wine and never had dirt in it.the staff we mentioned it to was super rude and made us feel awful for ever mentioning the dirt but it was a bunch of dirt in two out of four glasses and we also received no service. We had to flag someone down to o even get another drink.

its a really nice location with a fun vibe. Unfortunately I did not think the food was worth the price point, nothing special or especially exciting that we had.

The ambience is perfect for a Friday night drink. It s always full so would recommend reserving a table in advance. The drinks are good and pricey. The food is pricey too and the portion size isn t that great. However I tried two sides which were their famous bread & butter and the corn croquettes. The bread was hard but the butter was fresh and tasted nice. The corn croquettes were amazing. Loved them!! We ended with the pavlova for dessert and quite liked it. The service was good. Overall I had a good time but I found it expensive. Can definitely come here to grab a drink just for the vibe!

We stopped by here while bar hopping. Drinks were delicious and the oysters were fresh and great too. The service was fast as hell! Will be coming back to try more drinks and dishes.

Cheated by the servers two times that the small pudin flan cost $8. I ended up finding out it costs $4.5. Even though this place looks beautiful from outside, the servers don t seem to be honest. I would not recommend anyone to come to this place. On August 10, 2023, the owner of this place even further wrote on here to deny the fact of the dishonest act of their staff. Because of what? Because they want to do business. I never visited your restaurant before and I dont know you so why do I have to write bad about you? I kept the receipt and you did have the small flan. Your staff said the small pudin flan cost $8 and eventually charged us $4.50. You are a very dishonest business person and would do everything to protect the dishonesty of your staff. I would again will never recommend anyone to go to your restaurant. And on that day me and my father visited the restaurant, I notified one staff that A MAN IS SMOKING IN THE PATIO UNDER THE UMBRELLA BUT THE STAFF DID NOT TELL THE MAN TO LEAVE. This restaurant let people smoke in the patio. What a BAD BUSINESS PRACTICE.

Not so great on the service. For a wine bar the servers knew very little about wine and didn t really take the time to talk about the wines.

Both my friend and I got food poisoning from here! Beware the mushroom dish, they served us some mushrooms that did taste a bit funny but they were a variety Ive never had before so I didnt know they were off. And you just assume that if you pay $30 for a mushroom dish it would be at least be fresh.

Definition of style over substance: service was fine; aesthetic was good; but food was very disappointing. We ordered 4 dishes - 1 was good (beef tartare) 1 was mediocre (although it tasted massively of vinegar), and the other two were not good at all - specifically the mushroom, which gave two friends pretty violent food poisoning later that night and the entirety of the next day. Good for a drink but avoid the food.

The servers treated us in a really rude way and there was hair on 2 of the plates and when we let them know they said ok. Didn t even apologize. The food is very overpriced and I got the grilled shrimp and fries which cost me 60 dollars. 30 for 5 small and raw and bad taste shrimp . 15 for the fries. Tax and also 20% forcible tip. And I asked for the bill 5 times before we got it. It was the worst experience I had in a restaurant

Stopped in for a quick drink and wish I planned to eat. The place is beautiful and the vibe is fantastic, Matt the waiter was so much fun and full of information about the wine and food but also about the history of the place and how it used to be ossington tire. The atmosphere, the service, the vibe, the dishes, the decor, everything is great. Small downside, however, the lobster spaghetti at $58 per dish, listed on the menu as a sharing dish, is misleading. We would have expected a real dish for two. Which was not the case. Unfortunately, lobster spaghetti is a dish that is not very filling and can only satisfy one person and not two...Disappointing, Very disappointing...

Came by this area on a weekday, for lunch. I loved the airiness of the place. Very high ceiling, with open windows, front and patio tables with umbrellas. Over lunch time, I could see patrons were picking up as the surrounding area was still quiet. The service was perfect as it was not overly attentive which gave us enough time and pace to decide what we wanted and to eat. The food was great. It was unique and I wish I took more pictures. Had the drink below, don t remember what it was, but loved it as I was not looking for a sweet drink. The buffalo fried seafood was a great starter which had also some cauliflower in it. What a nice surprise. Paired with the aioli, it was a great opener. We also had the breakfast sandwich which was 2 hashbrown sticks and a homemade sausage soft egg sandwich. I loved it! This was a great dish to be shared as the sandwich was quite hearty as the sausage patty was quite thick which was filling. Unlike, premade sausage it was homemade so was a unique flavor and texture. The hasbrown, oh my. Think of a mashed potato in a 2x2 KitKat sized stick which the outside encapsulating it was crispy, brown and perfectly made. Really enjoyed it with some ketchup. Never had hasbrown like this. I wish I took a picture before devouring it.

Paris Paris has such a great ambiance. Amazing spot to grab some drinks and food in the Ossington area. The beef tar tar is definitely recommended.

The food and drinks were decent, but I couldnt help but feel they were well overpriced for what they offered. What really bothered us the most, was their decision to keep the doors and windows open on such a chilly day, into the evening; As a result, our entire party were freezing throughout our meal. I politely brought it to our servers attention, but couldnt do anything, until the party sitting in front of the window, left for the night.

Nicole was a great, attentive and patient server! My friend and I struggled to decide on a wine to share and Nicole was easy going with it all while kindly sharing her knowledge. It was my first time visiting and the fries and croquette were incredible! The tomato salad was very garlic heavy and therefore, delicious. I would get the bread next time to mop up all the yummy sauce.

Some sweaty looking bartender wearing a fitted overcharged me for my charcuterie board. Be careful when you come here. Paid 29 dollars for 16 pieces of cold cuts. It should ve been 19 dollars. My recent visit left much to be desired. From the moment we sat down, it took an astonishing 20 minutes before anyone approached our table to ask if we wanted a drink. This level of slow service was quite disappointing and set the tone for the rest of the evening. What struck me the most was the lack of clarity regarding the restaurants identity. It seemed torn between being a bar/lounge and a serious restaurant. The confusion was evident in the overall atmosphere, which failed to create a cohesive dining experience. They need to decide on their direction and make it clear to customers - Are they a fun, well managed restaurant that takes pride in their food and service or the Belfast love of Ossington for people looking for a fun atmosphere, drinks and a DJ. While I understand that food can be subjective, I must admit that I found the quality of the dishes to be subpar. I believe that for the amount charged, guests should expect a certain level of culinary excellence that was unfortunately absent. What was particularly concerning is how poorly the restaurant operates. The slow service not only affects the customer experience but affects their bottom line. It was shocking. As tables began to be seated around us, it was clear this was an ongoing theme. The slow service, lack of identity, and underwhelming food all contributed to a less-than-satisfactory experience. I hope that the management takes this feedback constructively and works towards enhancing their offerings and improving their operational efficiency.

Do not recommend. First off - OVERPRICED! secondly - The service is a joke here. Absolute joke and they will try to over charge you wherever they can. Just got home from eating here with a group of 6. When myself and my boyfriend were ready to leave (needed to leave the group early to go home for work next day), I asked for our bill, but was told they do not split bill for parties larger than 6. Okay fair. Thats standard. I asked the server if i could pay for my portion of the bill via card. He said yes. He calculated our total of the bill and added the auto gratuity on top. I also added our items and the tip to ensure he was correct, and it came to the correct total. We paid 127$ for 3 drinks and some starters. He did not give us a receipt. We left the group. Later when the remaining group tried to pay for the rest of the bill, the server brought a bill of what we paid for, and the bill he presented to them was missing 2 of the drinks we DID in fact pay for. So the rest of the group had to pay for 2 extra drinks that we ALREADY paid for. We got exactly these items: 1 french fries 1 calamari 1 shrimp cocktail 2 aperol spritz 1 modelo The total came to $106 dollars before the tip. So please tell me how we didnt pay for our 2 drinks? According to the server we missed 1 aperol spritz and 1 beer. That is inncorect and honestly I feel they are trying to scam money out of wherever they can. Terrible. We were served by the blonde guy and we were seated in the most left corner of the patio, against the fence line. Will never come back. **** UPDATE: I emailed the Manager about the experience and they never responded.

We came for drinks and some small bites as we had dinner prior and were thankful that we ate before. We had been meaning to check out this place as it always looked like a great vibe passing by. We were seated inside as it was raining and patio season was over. The atmosphere was a bit underwhelming once we were inside, but the staff and hostess were very friendly and inviting. We got a portuguese wine, which tickled our fancy, but found it appalling that they sell the same bottle in their attached wine shop for 2/3 the price. The markup on wine when dining in is expected (I miss Europe..), but charging $25 for what seems like an uncorking fee is outrageous. We ordered the mixed cheese and charcuterie board which was not worth the $29+ cost. Ossington is home to so many better options for better value. Likely wont be coming back. Overhyped. Overrated.

I was extremely excited to be back in my home town and I was in disbelief from the moment I arrived. The waiter greeted us, took our order and then no one would tend to our table. I felt like student in class constantly having to raise my hand to get service when the restaurant was not busy. It was frustrating given this used to be the spot we would fawn over.

I do understand the appeal from far away. Up close, its almost like a car crash and you cant look away. I would direct most concerns in service to its management, or lack there of. Based on the performative responses from ownership in the reviews its obvious they dont value their customer or staff, just optics. Its laughable that places like this and the people that run them call themselves restauranteurs. Dont be fooled like I was, there are much better places to support in this neighbourhood.

Overpriced menu , non attentive server and cutting corners . The place decor is very chic but they are trying to cut corners on everything. The fries are served in a food truck style paper bowls , the paper straws were so worst that I had to give up and drink my cocktail straight out of the glass. They have a big dinner menu but it is so overpriced that I only saw people ordering fries because that was the only cheap item in the entire menu . Please switch to cloth napkins instead of paper napkins for dinner tables. If you are expecting us to pay that price then provide the service too. Our server was extremely busy and didn t pay any attention. She left the credit card machine and went away for a good 15 mins. We are very disappointed.

Went to this place to celebrate a couple of our friends birthdays and I was pretty disappointed. The atmosphere is really nice and has that dark, neon light vibe and they have really good service as well. We were running late to our reservation and called ahead and they were fully understanding which I appreciated. I just dont understand how the food is priced and what theyre going for. We ordered the steak beef tartare and that was probably the best thing on the menu. For mains, we ordered the lobster spaghetti, roasted half chicken and full rack of BBQ Back Pork Ribs. The lobster spaghetti was really plain and definitely didnt feel like it was worth $58. The roasted half chicken was on par with a Costco rotisserie chicken, it was probably more bland than a rotisserie chicken but the meat was cooked properly. Lastly, the ribs looked nice but it was way too salty and just cooked too much. The sauce was what saved it somewhat but not worth it. It was disappointing since we wanted a nice dinner. The dessert was pretty good though, I liked the mousse cake. We also ordered a few drinks which were pretty good but nothing noteworthy compared to the other bars on Ossington. Overall, its a big no for me. Dietary restrictions: We told them we have peanut allergies

Music was loud but the vibe is very relaxing although not intimate enough to have a conversation. but the main issue that I don t understand is the pricing and portions As someone pointed out, it seems like there seems to be Cost cutting and that does seem to be the case. We ordered sides and expected the lobster pasta to fill us up but I guess not. The lobster pasta looked nothing like one in the reviews and we were in fact given 6 tiny pieces of what I could assume was frozen lobster in a bowl I would have paid maximum 30 for rather than 60 for. I don t understand why it s in the shareable part of the menu since me and my buddy finished it in 5 minutes without being full . I would have been better off buying a full meal for 60 dollars rather than this. The other dishes were good although I don t think the prices lived up to the portions or hype.. all in all this meal costed 150 dollars? Yikes I would love to give them a chance again but no

We had a wonderful experience at Paris, Paris. We were a large group, and the server was amazing. We had a number of food sensitivities in our group and these were accomodated seamlessly. The food was abundant and delicious. Atmosphere was a tad loud but other than that everything was terrific. Vegetarian options: Were solid.
