Just picked up some Sunday lunch as takeout. Wow. I havent had a kale salad, so good, in such a long time. Really well done and looks nice for brunch.

A hidden gem in the junction. The food was fresh. The service was fantastic and made me feel welcome. Recommend trying both the chicken and the brisket. The chef has a wealth of experience it s only a matter of time before this place blows up.

Stumbled upon this place while looking for lunch and decided on the brisket sandwich ($14 after tax). Was very happily surprised! I didn t realize it would be actual smoked bbq brisket but apparently it s smoked in house. You could definitely taste it! It was very filling and super tasty. The staff were really kind as well. Excited to go back and try more items from the menu.

The smoked chicken sandwich and boeuf bourgignon puff pastry pi were amazing!

Amazing little place with delicious food! We had a chicken pie, a chicken sandwich, and the soup of the day and it was all extremely tasty. Portions are very generous, prices are reasonable. And the coffee is great too! I hope they will be providing metal cutlery and real mugs for dine-in customers in the future, as the pie was a little hard to cut with wood and plastic cutlery (but totally worth the effort!) Pi Cafe is an absolute gem tucked away in the heart of the Junction! From the moment you walk in, youre greeted with warmth and charm. The owners, Bonnie and Al, have created a cozy haven where every detail tells a story of love and passion for food. The decor is a perfect blend of rustic and modern, with wooden tables and a selfie-worthy green wall that adds to the inviting atmosphere. And lets talk about the food! The pies are fresh and flavorful, and the poutine with its unusual ingredients is a must-try. I had the pleasure of trying the Beef Bourguignon Pi and the Moroccan Roast Vegetable Poutine, both of which were absolutely delicious. The flavors were unique and perfectly balanced. And if youre not in the mood for pie or poutine, the sandwiches are equally mouthwatering. To top it all off, the Lime and Raspberry Pi was the perfect sweet treat to end my meal. And lets not forget about the drinks! The Organic Elderberry Hibiscus Tea was a delightful blend that complemented my meal perfectly. Overall, Pi Cafe exceeded my expectations in every way. The food, the atmosphere, and the service were all top-notch. I cant wait to come back and try more of their delicious offerings. If youre in the area, do yourself a favor and stop by Pi Cafe you wont be disappointed!

Most delicious pie ever!!! I had the easter dessert pie and the filling was creamy, the shell was crunchy and the topping so velvety. The perfect combinations of the flavours! Still drooling writing this review. Bonnie and Al are genius!

I ordered via Uber Eats today, my first time. I read the reviews which were stellar. Sadly, my experience was not so wonderful. I had the chicken sandwich which was overwhelmingly smoky - it was all I could taste - and the wrapping had come loose so some fillings were in the bottom of the delivery bag. The beet/kale salad was mostly kale and not much of it. The (free) brussels sprouts were hard and cold. I rarely give a negative review but, given that I spent $30 on a lunch that was very dissatisfying, I was compelled to do so.

I had the Morrocan vegie pie and it was delicious .I wanted to stop at one but was too good to resist

Did a quick stop here and were greeted by friendly staff and a delicious aroma. The cabbage roll soup was wonderfully chunky and thick with great flavour - perfect for this cold, blustery Toronto day. The beef pie was also delicious, with nice puffy pastry, made to order right out of the oven. Lots of fresh, wholesome ingredients here. Looking forward to returning for repeats and to try new things.

Finally tried the food here and was upset with myself for waiting so long. Sides are so delicious, especially the brussel sprouts. I havent tried the pies yet, but will definitely be back often.

The owners were very helpful when making suggestions on what to try. They were also very warm; both of them stopped by to see how we were enjoying our meal. We even compared our preferences/approaches for brining and smoking meats. The food was served hot and serving sizes were good - we were full when we were done our meal. The restaurant has a very laid back feeling, is very clean, and there was nice music being played in the background. We will be back and we will be telling our friends about Pi Cafe!

Had a lovely visit here with the wife. The side salad was exceptional, and the pie was evenly cooked with a flaky crust. I had the beef bourguignon but would take the Moroccan vegetable pie next time.

I live in Leslieville and am often in the Junction. I was so pleased to find such an original cafe that I visited twice in one week. The first time I had beef pie and salad then worked for a while and then a had a brisket sandwich. The second time I had a chicken pie and kale salad yum yum yum! The pie was so original and good! And the sandwich was amazing especially the fact that is smoked by the chef. I actually purchased smoked half chicken and beef brisket to go and used them for dinners. I am sad to see some negatives that are so critical of a new and original business. But I guess everyone has a right to express their opinion Additionally shame on those negatives with zero constructive feedback. This place is so well priced and unique hats off to the owners for adding to our amazing foodie centric culture in Toronto!

Pi is the new pizza :D Just popped in the other day for a quick snack while in the area. What a discovery! Amazing coffee, even more delicious quiches and a very cozy atmosphere. The owners were so nice too. Cant wait to go back for more :)

So excited to have this new cafe in the area! There isnt much in the way of cafes near Runnymede and Pi Cafe is AMAZING. I had a beef bourginon sandiwich and it was to die for! Bonnie is so cute and nice and Chef Al is a master in the kitchen! Highly recommend and I love that I can pop by on my way home and take home pies for dinners for the week :) GO CHECK IT OUT!!

Heard about this little cafe from a friend and social media. The pies and briskets they posted looked so good my wife and I had to go down (from Markham) to try it and we were not disappointed! We tried their beef and chicken pies, absolutely delicious! Wanted to try their smoked beef sandwich but was too full for it sadly...cannot wait to try it next time though!

My family and I really enjoyed the food from Pi café!! we really loved the smoked chicken asparagus mushroom cream pie and the potato Nicoise salad. Everything was delicious.

The puff pastry in their amazing savoury pies is perfect. If you want a complex slightly spicy pie try the beef. But if you want something creamy and cosy then try the turkey! Owners are lovely and welcoming, new favourite spot in the junction!

The food at this place is literally so good. I cant recommend it enough. Plus they have wifi and a great atmosphere. Be it for lunch with a friend, or a quiet meal while you work. Will definitely be coming back!

Very cute new cafe that just opened. The staff was very friendly and the food was amazing! We stopped in here for a coffee and got tempted to try their pies! I got the chicken creamy one and my husband got the beef one and WOW! I actually liked his a little more so I will be getting that next time. The chicken one is great too, but the flavours from the beef one is just perfect to warm you up on a cold day. Thanks, will definitely come back and try the sandwiches!

Delicious smoked brisket sandwich, made with care. Every element of this was thoughtfully put together, right down to the super tasty tomato! The potato salad nicoise was also beautifully made. My husbands roasted veggie sandwich was also fantastic, and hearty. Ill be back, and you should go! This food is the real deal.

Very impressed with the sandwich (brisket) and soup of the day (cabbage roll) I had here - both definitely exceeded my expectations. Was a little bit expensive, but the quality and quantity of food made it worth it. I look forward to trying the pie next time!

Stopped by to try Pi Café for a late lunch and had an awesome experience. It smelled amazing as soon as you walked in and had a lively community atmosphere even though it was a quiet snowy day. Had the smoked chicken + featured soup combo and everything was perfectly seasoned and incredibly flavourful. Charming team working the space too! Will definitely be back to try some more of the menu - a great addition to the neighbourhood!

Just stopped there for the first time and picked up meat pies and cold salads. All excellent. I am a fan of meat pies and I would say the pies were the best I have ever had. Really. There are also sandwiches on the menu, so I will try those next time. My more self interested plug is, if you drive west to work past Runnymede on Dundas (I do), get your coffee there. There isn t much coffee on the north side of Dundas in that area.

if i had the options to give zero stars I would. Dont even waste your time getting the pies here I ordered the beef and chicken mushroom pies and a smoked beef sandwich yummm...sounds good right, yea well it HORRIBLE between the crunchy crusty dry brunt pies and the over rated sandwich (just go to subways) I was extremely disappointed. slightly confused on all these good reviews but I believes its either friends and family trying to boost the ratings.

Pi Cafe is amazing! Bonnie and Al, are super friendly, and their Red Thai Curry Smoked chicken soup was out of this world.

Had the brisket sandwich and soup today and wow was it ever so delicious and ever so tastey! Hands down one of the best new spots to come enjoy breakfast lunch or dinner! Pi Cafe opened a few doors down from us and weve been looking to get over and try and today was the day. It was fantastic!!! We ordered a smoked brisket and a smoked chicken sandwich. Both were so juicy and flavourful. The bread was great as well, with the toppings we wanted. We also shared an order of the Truffle potato wedges which were also fantastic and love the drizzle on top. It was the perfect lunch to re-energize us and keep us going through our day. While we took our order to go, the cafe has a great atmosphere to sit down and is so clean. The owners are welcoming and friendly and we look forward to many more visits and trying the entire menu. Well priced and quick service too! A great addition to the neighbourhood!
