Really recommend shawarma.

Where do I begin? Your website promised centuries of Middle-Eastern history in every bite, but all I tasted was disappointment. Your shawarma? About as authentic as a plastic palm tree in Toronto. And lets talk about your staff. Rude doesnt even begin to cover it. The woman was a breath of fresh air compared to the guy, but they both need a crash course in manners. Communication skills? Zero. Customer service? Zilch. The chicken and beef shawarma? A far cry from the real deal. No pomegranate molasses sauce seriously? Thats like serving pizza without cheese. When I dared to ask, they looked at me like I had three heads and started chatting away in their secret language. Classy. Zero stars for the chicken shawarma, one for the beef, and a generous three for the souvlaki. Congratulations on your historic knowledge shame it doesnt translate to flavour. Five stars for cleanliness and atmosphere? Sure, if youre into eating disappointment in a well-decorated room. The order was 1 Chicken Souvlaki Plate, 1 Chicken Shawarma Wrap and 2 Beef Shawarma Wraps guest #038 9/21/2024 8:30ish PM. The total damage is $60.26 before tax and tip! Thats right, I tip!

I dropped by here for lunch after visiting AML Auto Service across the Street. I had the most delicious and amazing Chicken Shawarma Wrap at Pita Land. Everything was super fresh. Staff is very friendly.. One of the regular customers recommended I add Tahini sauce and Id highly recommend you do too. The quality of the food here is outstanding. I love the potatoe bowls and the the chicken shwarma on fries/rice. My only complaint would be that its expensive, but the food is very tasty. Food : 5/5

Good quality

Expensive poor quality wraps. Asked for a small, they only had large (15.00). Lettuce wet and rotten, chicken was crunchy and old. Was not worth the money and was honestly awful.

I called the store to order my sandwich 20 min before coming, and I asked to make sure the sandwich is ready when I get there cause I had to leave and when I got there the girl told me that it wasn t ready and I had to wait at least 10 min. I got my money back and left.

Would give 0 stars if I could. Placed order on Uber Eats at 11:01am with an estimated pickup time of 5-12 minutes. I arrived at 11:15am and was told that my order would be an additional 25 minutes. The restaurant was empty, not serving any other customers, so why would 3 shawarmas take 40 minutes to prepare. Order was cancelled but the employee had accepted the order through Uber Eats in the mean time and now I am charged almost $40 for not receiving any food.

The fellas that work here are some of the nicest and best there is and theyre cooking up some of the best shawarma wraps in the city even my folks love them and the food.

Lets start with my first pet peeve that would make me never return which IS NTO THE CASRE HERE Customer service. At this establishment they have the best customer service in food I think I have ever see. Good jobs guys!!! Pleasant, friendly ( yet they wont tell me what they put in those potatoes... yummmmm) and trust me when I say their lentil soup IS DELICIOUS! The had a large chicken shawarma sandwich. The portion size was excellent and it was one of the best shawarma Ive had. The potatoes are amazing too.

Great location. Tasty, amazing value (big portions sizes and lots of sauces), and the workers there are very friendly. Super clean too! The potatoes and salad in the plate option are very yummy. Vegetarian options: Falafel and potato options

They are not Turks, they are Arabs and they open restaurants using the name of Turks and they are very expensive and the portions are very small.

I love this place! The chicken plate from here is delicious and the chicken shawarma is incredible. If you want something healthy and flavourful, this is the spot.

Wow! Just went here for the first time, had a falafel wrap and it was really excellent! Service was superb, place was incredibly clean, and lots of parking available! This might become my go-to pita place! Vegetarian options: Their falafel is -really- good, very seasoned but not spicy!

Coming from Ottawa where there are more authentic shawarma restaurants than Tims or McDonald s combined, my expectations are set high. While I can only review the shawarma sandwich I had, I must say it s the best one I ve had yet in Toronto. The chicken was fresh and lean, toppings were fresh and the garlic was great. The only negative (which isn t even actually negative, more so just odd) thing I can say is I was offered tzatziki on my sandwich rather than tahini, but like I said more so just weird to me. The service here was exceptional as we were met with smile and friendly face. Based on other reviews I believe it may have been the owner who served us. The restaurant was very clean, bathrooms included, which is often rare in a fast food environment. When I told the employee where I came from he knew being from Ottawa I would have to be impressed and I agreed to review if I was satisfied. So here I am, a satisfied customer reviewing your restaurant. The only small thing I can say that may be negative is $10 for a shawarma is a bit more expensive than I m used to, but that s not at the restaurant s fault and I fully realize where I m from because of the amount of competition between the hundreds of shawarma spots plays a roll in pricing. But again different regions, and not at all a factor in my 5 star review. Thanks for the great lunch!

Bad bad bad place

My son and I popped in here for a plate of food - buyer beware all the toppings are at an add on cost and our meat plate was 80% rice. And I even paid an extra 5.99 for extra meat. The server was very nice but should have been transparent about costs and what little meat we had tasted great. But value for your money is not here.

The location ran a promotion on social media of various deals on their meals that stated mention this post for redeem The clerk at the store had no idea of the promotion. Would not honour it even when I showed him the screenshot of the deal What s even worse is that I even reached out to Pita Lands corporate email to inquire about this and it has been a week without reply. That s the problem these days, everybody wants to run a business without knowing how to run a business, just in it for some quick cash. I certainly won t be giving any to this place.

The food is really tasty but the portion size is an issue - please see the picture of the 5$ potatoes that we got in take out - they are 3/4 full which is a bummer to say the least

This is the best tasting and also the CLEANEST shawarma restaurant I ve been too. The people hear really care about hygiene and the quality of food and service. Great job guys keep it up!

I visited this Pita Land location recently and was really impressed with the quality of the food. The Chicken Shawarma Plate was tender and spicy while the Beef Shawarma Plate was super tender. The portions were quite large. The falafels were crispy and stuffed with veggies! The samosas were good although they could have been a bit crispier. The service was very good despite being very busy (visited at noon). The ambiance is clean and uncluttered, basically what you would expect for a fast food experience.

Very friendly ownership, always delicious, hot, sizeable meals.

I ate some beef shawarma today for dinner with beef kebabs and it was so delicious .

I got large order of 7 shawarma and 3 plate. They gave good quantity unlike other location, where you would be still hungry after having a plate. Usually large order would get less qty but they made it worth every penny. Lady prepared it very good as if she cared for the customer and the way they advertised. Not going to any other location. This is my go to location from now on.

The quantity is not worth the price you pay for . Particularly this location then other they added handful lettuce 4 thin slice of tomato 5 cucumber slices

My wife and I have enjoy there tasty shawarmas.There mild and hot sauce are home made. They offer more Mediterranean food as well. The staff are very helpful. Its a very clean to sit and eat. Come in you will be glad you did. Vegetarian options: You get to pick your toppings. Parking: Theres never any issues on parking Kid-friendliness: Clean and spacious.

Went there for dinner. Food was delicious. New flavours in the shawarma plate. They were generous with their sauces. Owner was nice as well. Over all great experience. Will definitely go again and try new dishes.

Finally got the opportunity to try this place as it is new in the neigbourhood (Leaside - Longos plaza). Glad we did as the food was delicious! Shawarmas were very tasty and good selection of toppings and sauces. Generous serving sizes. Loved the garlic potatoes, yummy. If you live in the hood, you need to check it out, and willing to bet it will become one of your regular places to eat/order from! Owner was very nice and made great suggestions. Only drawback for this place is that it is a bit hidden in the north end of the plaza and there is no signage from the street, so its easy to miss unless you are looking for it. Came to location at 10:40 pm and was told that the restaurant is closed when it still should be opened for 20 more minutes. Unacceptable and wont be coming back.

Basic toppings like green/black olives, cucumbers were extra on a shawarma wrap. The barely grilled the shawarma, it was very soft to bite. Their hotsauce is lacks flavour or character, and the barely toasted my wrap. All in all the place is expensive and bland. The place is clean, and newly renovated but thats as good as it gets tbh. Wouldnt recommend, Toronto has too many quality Mediterranean style restaurants that outdo this place.

Stopped in on a whim today not knowing what to expect and wow it was amazing. The food and service where both impeccable. The Pita I had was best Pita I have had in a long time maybe ever and my partner s Shawarma was delicious.

Everything about this place is great. The food tastes amazing, the service is incredible and the cleanliness and organization are spectacular.

The food here was decent but the quantity is too low. I ve tried a lot of shawarma places in Toronto and this had the least quantity with the most price. If you want a good shawarma or chicken on rice don t come here unless they improve their quantity or price.

I would not recommend this place. I ordered their most expensive chicken offering, and when I was asked what toppings I wanted, I included green and black olives. I was not told these were extra by the man who asked me of I wanted all toppings. It was only after I paid that I was made aware that there was an extra cost for these (a separate charge for each colour of olives too...). Which is ridiculous on its face; no other place charges you extra to toss a few olive slices onto your meal. But more concerning, they did not absolutely nothing to remedy the situation once I expressed my shock. They were rude and dismissive. I would not recommend this restaurant. If you are in the area, consider other options for Middle Eastern food that engage in more reputable business practices. Some nearby restaurants are: Naan and Kabob across the street, and Lazeez Shawarma on Overlea Boulevard.

Pitaland Leaside is wonderful!!!! The food is epic and so delicious. We ordered catering from Mr. S the owner of this restaurant. Such a great experience, the owner is super kind and professional and made an amazing spread for my annual holiday party. Definitely order from here and you will be wowed by the taste and presentation of the meal!!! 5 stars!!!

Second time here with my son. He loves your chicken shawarma and selection of toppings. I keep having to tell him that we cant have shawarma everyday! Always consistent!! I come here almost everyday for lunch during the week. Very tasty and real ingredients are used. Prices are reasonable for the quality.

So good, I just had to come back! Brought my 9 year old turning 10 next week and he ordered the beef Kabob. He got some on his face but the man behind the counter to wipe it off free of charge. Great service!
