Pita Pit & Second Cup Café in Toronto

Came here with family and was confused what to order, due to lots of chicken options but to our luck the witty guy on front Mani showed us different types of chicken and made recommendations instantly we know what to order and serviced us very nicely. Cant ask for more. AMAZING!!!!

Went to the restaurant at 10:35 but they told me that they open at 10 am and had to wait 10 minutes to be served. Since I was on break from work I couldnt wait. Was disappointed because if they are open since 10am I dont understand that 40 minutes after they are still not ready to serve orders.

Not much to say but that I had a piece of red velvet cake here while waiting for my bus and the next week I had the worst stomach flu/bug I ever had. Went to the doctor on multiple occasions and they believe it was from the food I had that night. My friend on another occasion after also had the carrot cake there and had the same problem. We think probably they keep the desserts out for too long as my slice of cake was very dried and the frosting was inedible (I only had a few bites before I stopped eating it). Anyways, as great as the service is I really think you guys should skip this place and go to some of the much cleaner and nicer places like Hazukido in Union station now that the food courts and stuff opened up. TLDR: If you want to risk getting extremely sick go to this cafe.

I ordered a chicken shawarma pita. It was so good, I think one of the best I ate so far Manprit was so easy to talk with and gave me good suggestions. I also ordered a mocha frappe from second cup. I didnt knew which to order, I just said chocolate and cold and I got a great recommendation from Krizel and it was so good They are professionals and I really like it

In today s age, pita restaurants in the downtown core have reduced significantly, much to my disappointment. Thankfully, Pita Pit is still here and serving amazing healthy options! Wish Google had also options for negative stars and the max stars will go to this pita pit location. Horrible staff and service. Literally degrading the PitaPit reputation. They just lost my business forever.

Good ingredients and pitas but you have to battle with the employees to get the pita you re after. Employees are extremely stingy with the quantity of ingredients they give you. You ask for cucumbers you ll see 3-4 tiny cubes. You ask for olives, you may see 2-3 tiny slices. You consistently have to ask for the same ingredient multiple times for them to give you an adequate quantity. Not very efficient. You ask for avocado or humus spread forget about it they ll spread on the equivalent of a quarter spoon. Please retrain your staff on the proper quantity of ingredients your customers should be supplied with, especially when they pay for double meat, etc!

Recent Addition of PP is very welcome for the neighbourhood. PP is excellent. Always fresh, tasty & healthier options. Service is also very friendly & amazing. MGR Kritika is always smiling & all her staff display great customer service. So happy its opened & literally 5 min walk from my condo. Highly recommended! We ll be back often Update January 2024: Mani & Yami were excellent with their service & making of pitas. Mani is very professional & personable. Pitas were delicious!

Most staff are welcoming and friendly, but I had one encounter with a staff. Shes the old lady and she doesnt seem friendly at all. One time I even saw her using her phone while her work mates are working hard. Hope the manager address the attitude of this employee. Overall food and staff are great just not with this one staff I encountered.

I love this place, the staff here are very friendly and efficient, This is a great coffee shop if you re in the area. My coworkers like the smoothies here, and I like the iced coffee , they also have a banana bread that s delicious as. One of the best shops I ve been to in Toronto. When I came here the atmosphere is very relaxing friendly staff and amazing customer service. The food is very good and I love the latte I order Vanilla Latte with oat milk. Came here on a chilly day, had the largest cup of cappuccino, delicious and generous portion, good to the last drop ... it drove away all the winter blue .. very nice ambience and friendly staff !

I recently had the pleasure of enjoying a delicious ham and cheese melt sandwich and a cup of London Fog at Second Cup Cafe 39 Bay St branch while taking my online class. The experience was absolutely satisfying in every way. The ham and cheese melt sandwich was simply delightful. The ham was savory and juicy, and the cheese perfectly melted and gooey. The bread was toasted to perfection, and the overall flavour was just right, not too salty nor bland. It was a perfect light meal that kept me energized throughout the class. The London Fog was just as impressive. The tea was of high-quality, and the subtle hints of vanilla and Earl Grey just made it divine. It was the perfect accompaniment to the sandwich, and I could feel myself relaxing with every sip. The ambiance of Second Cup Cafe 39 Bay St branch was lovely. Great place. Good vibe with friendly staff with latte art.

I regularly go here on weekends in the evening. Why this second cup is understaffed. I noticed on Saturdays only two people work until evening. U should have at least 3 people, knowing ur location, its usually busy on weekends especially with events at scotia. I see only two same people working on Saturday evenings. I feel sorry for the old lady and her workmate. Kudos to these two people for having fast and great service!

I thought I had had the best cappuccino in Rome, Italy until I came to this place. Nihan was extremely helpful and made my capuccino just the way I like it but exceeding my expectations. The staff was also very friendly and engaging. I would give it six stars but only have five.

Iam a regular costumer of pink berry at second cup 39 Bay Street, I use to get a regular with toppings but yesterday it seems there is a weird taste it s just like a vanilla soft ice cream from the ice cream truck on the street my $9.32 was wasted, it is not the same of what I expect it s not a yoghurt it is soft I cream Pinkberry must make action on this pls .. iam so disappointed ..

Awesome customer service from AMAANA, we were about to buy a bag of coffee and after scanning our points, she recommended that we can redeem our points and not paying for it, which was great awareness, and not only that, she offered us a free coffee to try as well!! Great lattes and friendly service! Would be 5/5 if the ambience was different. Right now it feels like a bright and silent cafeteria. Might be fine for the morning time, but after 4:00pm, I think dimming the lights and/or having more of a yellow/warm undertone and also playing some music (like coffee shop jazz) would make this spot more inviting and cozy. After this time some people just want to come and relax with a cup, chat with friends, go on dates etc. If these two things change you ll definitely find me here more! For now, I do mobile pick up and I m always happy with what I get. Staff take care of the drinks here with love! Update: location is now playing music which has made me want to come back more! Looks like Reno s are in the works too.

Worst coffee I had in Toronto. I got myself a cappuccino with coconut milk - the coffee was tasteless and milk was sweetened (I never add sugar to my coffee) We also ordered raspberry chocolate cookie (dry and not fresh), butter tart (not bad but for me personally too sweet) and brownie (same as previous- not bad but a bit too sweet)

The best coffee shop ever! I really like their FRO CHO, with whip cream and drizzle! Plus the friendly baristas and super great customer service! Really good to visit this place!

Well, I always wanted to go there, so I did. Not what I was expecting not gonna lie. Service it s very attentive and kind. I didn t like that is kind of lonely. There is not much going on and we had some strange characters coming in that made me feel a little unsafe, so I left fast

The Pita Pit Artists are good but still have much to learn. Would recommend they spend a day working at the Barrie or Huntsville locations.

Staff is friendly and gives great service. We always stop here for our morning coffees before a trip to the island.

Sorry but your sandwiches taste horrible. I just got a turkey pesto mayo sandwich for my breakfast, one bite and i feel pukeish. Your coffee is great though.

Travelling from England and stopped here briefly with my partner, service felt unorganised but the atmosphere was lovely. Food was great too. Theres a hispanic gentleman there who got the orders slightly wrong but we didnt mind, he was great and we hope he finds good success.

Really great place with good customer service and food tastes really good ; both the coffee and the wrap was good really enjoyed being here , will definitely come back. If you re around or live nearby its a must go place.

As a Second Cup aficionado, this is my first time visiting this location and I would say this is one of the better locations I ve visited. Staff were friendly and kind and everything was fresh. Their English muffin breakfast sandwich was delicious and perfectly heated and they will even serve your coffee in a ceramic mug if you ask. Coffee was freshly brewed even as late as 7:30 pm.

Everything is consistent. The salads taste really good and so is the coffee. The classic cold latte is really good. Mocha is decent too. 5 stars for the ambience and service.

Went here after a concert at Scotiabank arena and the service was amazing, even with the rush. And the food was delicious too.

I came here because of the late closing time and good reviews. The views from the store arent great but it was fine as the venue was spacious and light.The staff were friendly and efficient, they used decent teabags and the place was clean. The WiFi was awful, which meant I had to leave earlier than Id wished. But it seemed like a popular local for customers, so if you dont need wifi, its all good Id recommend

They are really clean and good spaced coffee place . I usually have a white latte and or dark cholaye latte but being summer it s not possible so I had a banana strawberry smoothie and they made it super fresh.

We came in from out of town with kids for an event and stopped here for a treat. Besides having a lovely selection, the staff were super helpful and kind, cutting a large piece of cake in half to share, getting water for our water bottles, etc., and smiles all around from staff!

Second cup is always understaffed and the waiting lines are horrible. They are under servicing their customers by refusing to pay more staff.

Nice location to stop by when youre coming back from lakeshore. They were super busy at the time but it was during an event and the staff handled it like champs. Food and drinks were delicious as always!

I love this coffeeshop! From the barista to the owner, everyone is absolutely great. Their drip coffees, americanos and pistachio lattes are delicious! They make my morning every time I go in with their beautiful energy and great barista skills!

Very kind and hardworking people who served us and decent prices for good quality food. The manager even gave us a free sample of their banana strawberry smoothie, which tasted wonderful. I recommend this location highly and their smoothies for sure

Convenient spot for a socially-distanced coffee, smoothie, or pre-made sandwich if youd otherwise be killing time in Union Station. Feels safer than the GO concourse food court, since theyve got everyone packed into one section down there (though they are checking vaccination papers for entry).

Right next to Union Go bus station, the coffee is really good.

Unfortunately, this location was the victim of a break-in that resulted in their payment machines being out of service. When I didnt realise I didnt have cash to pay with, the owners response was kind pay us later. That type of mentality is not usual for a big city and shows how kind, trusting and wholesome the team is here. An excellently run business and they have gained a huge advocate based on this experience alone. Great work guys!!

Me and a friend went here for a coffee and to meet for a get together. We sat on the outside patio. The servers were very kind and brought us our orders outside. And let us sit there literally till closing. And politely asked us to leave when they closed. Coffee was great. Had a very nice experience.

I love Second Cup but every time I get served and then I was told that I have to leave in X minutes because they are about to close it is really bad, just because they have to warn about it beforehand. That happened to me to today here. I hope it wont happen again.
