I absolutely love this place. Food is fresh and love the fact that we can have breakfast all day long. You should try making your own omelette and add swiss cheese + portobello mushroom (good quality) + bacon! Amazing combination. Also their Caprese salad is so good. They also gave us free cookies. So happy to have found this gem.

Highly highly recommended. Food is great, especially the chicken shnitzel is just amazing. Prabesh the waiter is very nice and friendly, and so as the manager who greeted us and gave us cookies on the house! My wife is obsessed with their omelette, i will keep coming/ordering from here for sure, glad i found this gem

Had a wonderful time here, Gail was very friendly and helped us get seating in their heated backroom area. The vibe was very cozy and the food was 10/10. Make sure to try their chicken schnitzel dishes and especially the banana bread french toast!

We had a great time !! The manager, Gail was so friendly, she enthralled us with her many stories and made the whole evening memorable! I had the spicy chicken sandwich and my wife had the Schnitzel platter ..both were excellent as was the wine recommendation...she gave us cookies to sample at the he end, and we were hooked...we had to buy some for the way back. I have been known to visit as many restaurants as possible, thereby having a rule to visit each one only once....but I think Ill need to make an exception!!!

The hostess Gail was so sweet and funny! It really brightened our experience from the start. The back patio was warm, cozy and well decorated for the holidays. We had the spicy egg Benedict, schnitzel Benedict, chicken and waffles, and banana bread french toast. All of them were so delicious.

This was our first time and we will definitely be back. The atmosphere, the service and the food were all awesome. I had classic eggs Benny and added fresh avocado slices and my Hubbs had the Dads Breakfast. Everything was delicious. Their Hollandaise sauce is sooooo good. They have a super cozy back patio too! We were a large group (~ 35 people), they seated us at the very back in a heated patio - keep in mind this was November! They provided blankets too! Their service was amazing given our large group with lots of chaotic, excited young children!

Was my first time at Ramona s. The manager Gail was phenomenal in her engagement with customers and operational organization of the staff. The food and selection was excellent. The price was good and well worth it for the quality. I will definitely go again and highly recommend.

I went for Brunch this Sunday and it was so wonderful. The space is so inviting and homey. The service is so quick. The staff are so nice and sweet. The food portion are huge and affordable. And the manager Gail is such a bubbly sweetheart. Cant wait to go there again. What a gem of a restaurant

We love Ramonas menu! They offer a great selection and the food is always delicious in perfect portion. If you are bringing children, I highly recommend the Leaside location. They may not have a kid menu BUT the staff are always so kind and friendly to our daughter. Last time we went, the chef decorated her blueberry pancake to make it look like a face. This time though we didnt get a special pancake, the staffs came to check on her and gave high 5s. Way to make us feel special and taken care of. Great food and great service!

Top notch food and hospitality at Ramona s kitchen! Our hockey team came here as a large group after a tournament. The staff were so warm and accommodating towards all our needs. We had over 15 kids and it was not an easy service but everyone was in such good spirits and made us feel so welcomed! We can t wait to come back!

The weekend manager hostess was so sweet! She stopped us walking by and got my kids to help her decorate the tree outside and gave them treats. So warm and welcoming, just in time for the holidays to boost your mood up! We were just walking by on our way home, but can t wait to come back to try their food, the menu looks delish!

The Nutella shake was the best I ve ever had. Visiting from Seattle. They sat us within 10 minutes even with a line. Everything was delicious.

Quite honestly one of the worst restaurant delivery experiences I have had in recent memory. Ordered the spicy chicken burger, fries, onion rings and chocolate chip cookie and per the pictures, the chicken was flat and frozen in the middle, the fries were soggy and had no seasoning, and the onion rings were half raw with bready dough.

It was Sunday morning, and we decided to test a new breakfast. We chose Ramonas Kitchen based on their great rating in Google. The atmosphere, service, and food were great. We took a table in the backyard. It was cozy and beautiful. I definitely recommend it here for having a break or brunch.

Gail the woman with the glasses at the front blocked our path and said not a baby inclusive atmosphere on Saturdays it is too busy. Despite me saying we brought a baby here before, she responds not on Saturday. Food is good but apparently no babies on the weekends. Kid-friendliness: NOT baby friendly

The reason why I gave you guys 1 star is just because of your host. The one with the pink glasses. She was rude, and we felt favouritism all throughout. It was pretty clear she wasnt interested in having us around. Not only that we were standing for almost 30mins, saw a random couple go in and she didnt even bother to tell us that the couple called before to book. When we asked, she didnt even look at us to talk. I have never been treated like this so I took some time to understand if was favouritism or if im jumping to conclusions. I talked with few other people(employees) there and they saw the whole thing and kept apologizing for her attitude. The other staff were great and super nice. When we got to our table, the host came in to the room multiple times asked every table if the food was good, but didnt come even ONCE to our table. This wouldnt have bothered me so much, but her vibe was definitely off and it showed on her face. I most definitely wouldnt recommend this restaurant to anyone, sorry.

There are few restaurants which deliver so well across multiple fronts: delicious food; friendly and prompt service; lively atmosphere and great value. My son and I recently went for brunch and left feeling completely satisfied. I highly recommend the blueberry pancakes which are the fluffiest and tastiest I have experienced. We had brunch at Ramona s for the first time today and were blown away by the food and service. Everyone we spoke to was so lovely and eager to make sure we enjoyed our meal. We had the crab cake benny with spicy hollandaise and dad s breakfast with French toast. Both were lovely. This was such a nice brunch that even though I happened to get stung by a wasp (we sat on the patio) it was still overall a great time and we would return

Great first experience here. Gail greeted us at the door, seated us quickly after giving us the choice of where to sit. Servers were prompt and friendly, checked on us frequently. Love the hollandaise sauce! Visited again and got the Chicken Schnitzel Sandwich with spicy sauce. Tasty bite with soft tomato, delicious avocado, and a spice that hits late. Our go-to breakfast is the Spicy Chicken Sandwich with an over-easy egg - Spicy, delicious, saucy, fantastic!

Service is very poor. Period. Waited for an hour and fifteen minutes to get our order on a not-seemingly busy Saturday morning with people who arrived after us getting their order 15-20 mins before us. Asked for the order status at least 3 times before we received it. For this reason alone, I would not recommend this place. Coming to the food, nothing special about it. Good tasting eggs and bread with home fries, but not worth waiting an hour and fifteen minutes for. Dietary restrictions: No accommodations for dietary restrictions

First off, I want to mention Gale (the hostess) was so entertaining and personable, she needs a raise! I loved it here. I got the chicken schnitzel benedict which Ive never seen anywhere else. It was delicious! The tri coloured fries were a nice touch. If youre getting 4 or more mimosas, make sure to just buy the bottle of prosecco, which works out to being cheaper. Ambiance was great - we sat in the back room which was very cute but I would recommend changing the fluorescent lighting. Otherwise no complaints about this place at all, would recommend for brunch!

Have you ever dined at a restaurant where everything on the menu is top notch? This place can do no wrong and its unbelievable! Excellent food, the BEST homefries (tri-colored homefries consisting of golden potato, orange sweet potato, and purple sweet potato). Gail is a gem of a host/waitress. She truly makes it so welcoming and homelike. 10/10

Lovely brunch spot!! The head hostess is the sweetest most accommodating! I ve already been here 3 times in the past month. Everyone is so polite and welcoming and the food is so delish!! The portions are very generous as well which is always a plus!! Do try their chocolate chip cookie, they are so moist and perfect balance to have at the end with your coffee. Will be back always :)

Fantastic food, good atmosphere, fast service, and extremely friendly staff! But the best part about this brunch spot is the food! The Banana Bread French Toast with strawberries, walnuts and Nutella was fantastic! And the Nutella Hot Chocolate was also amazing. Ive since shared this brunch spot with my family and theyll all be going in the future.

We had a large group (8 people) for Sunday brunch at Ramonas. I was a bit worried about getting a table given that it is a popular spot on the weekend, but the staff at Ramonas was very accommodating. They told us we could call before we came and get put on the wait list. When we go there we did not have to wait. We were seated in their back patio which was a nice setting. I will look forward to sitting there again. The food was spot on for brunch - eggs and sausage, french toast, eggs benny...all the classics. And all yummy. And the portion sizes were generous which was appreciated by the teenage boys in our group.

Food was delicious, great portion and amazingly memorable. Wait time however was more than 30 minutes for two egg dishes.

I love it here, the food is fresh, tasty and just wow!!!!! The service is friendly, attentive and even change mother nature for us by blocking the sun that was hitting our eyes. The hostess gave a good laugh with that one! 11/10 would recommend coming here!!!

Ramona s is simply a top notch destination for brunch. This was our first visit but we live in the area and will be back - often. Two of us chose the Classic Benny and our guest had the Dad s Breakfast. Everything on our plates was delicious and the coffee warrants a special mention. Theres paid parking available along the street, so be sure to find a spot. The restaurant has a cozy neighborhood vibe, with limited seating both inside and on the patio. Fortunately, when we arrived for brunch this morning, it wasnt crowded. I really liked the interior and ambiance. The menu is user-friendly, especially for those who, like me, struggle with reading small print. Theres a wide variety of breakfast options. We tried the signature Moms and Dads dishes, both of which were very filling. Kudos to the chef everything was perfectly cooked and beautifully plated. The highlight for me was the Lavender Matcha Latte. Well definitely return to try more items on the menu. Given our overall experience, its no surprise this place has such a high rating. I ll be bringing my friends next time.

I came here to get an Uber order and was told to wait, then a woman came and told me that I had to go outside and wait there, she came to me with a very bad attitude, then I said I wanted a coffee and I wanted to sit down, she did not fulfill my request, I perceived this as racism, I did not comment on the food and drinks, I just wanted to tell her about her disrespect.

Just had a lovely breakfast outside on the patio with a friend.Perfect way to start a Sat.Moms breakfast, perfectly poached eggs, rye toast, tri colored fries and coffee, Gail made sure to say hi and make sure we were happy with everything. Ill be back !

We were looking for a nice brunch place and saw good reviews. We were not disappointed. Lots of good brunch options - the food and coffee were great and service was excellent. We sat inside but they appeared to have a nice patio at the back as well. We will be back with the kids in tow next time.

My friends and I had an amazing time here and Gail was such a delight. When they found out that it was around the birthday of one of my friends and me, they surprised us with a birthday song and cute little candles lit on cookies! Okay first of all their Benny menu is insane that s what brought me here. But their staff and service is what really did it for me. They were so lovely really brought the hospitality to a 10/10. The hostess was so kind and she had a vibrant and welcoming energy. We got the crab cake Benny and chicken schnitzel Benny and it was 10/10. I also love that it came with a side salad and the roasted potatoes also had some carrots. Delish. Bring your friends and the front patio is dog friendly!

Great experience at Ramona s for brunch today. They have a dog friendly patio so we took our pooch, Mav, along with us. They truly looked after him, from bringing him a water bowl to getting him his own breakfast . A small bowl of excellent quality treats we could feed him while we ate. Food was absolutely delicious and service was speedy, but not too fast. They also have a lovely patio at the back. Highly recommend

Found this neighborhood gem while visiting Toronto and it more than lived up to its excellent reviews!! Gluten free buns was the lightest and airiest I have ever had and was a perfect complement for the turkey burger and sweet potato fries. Highly recommend if you are in the Bayview/Manor Rd area. I ordered the two for one fish sandwich on Uber Eats was it a little bit worried that it was going to be soft and not crispy by the time I got to my house as I do live a little bit of a distance away from the restaurant but it arrived super crispy and tasted amazing. Would definitely order this again and would be interested to see how much better it would be if I ate a fresh at the restaurant

Fantastic little restaurant! Super friendly and attentive. We were brought in right away at a nice table near the front and were served immediately. Food took no time at all and everything was fresh and delicious. The quality of the product was nice and you could tell they cared. Will definitely go again! Thank you Gail! Brunch/Lunch date was great shared a few plates since it was our 1st visit we were recommended the spot. The garden patio in the back was perfect atmosphere. The service was great, they were very nice and even give you a fresh baked chocolate chip cookie when you come in. And they use milk chocolate chips, instead of semi sweet like a lot of other places, so thats already 5 star behavior. Food was really nice, filling, tasty, my mom got a Caesar salad (it was normal and good -- too many restaurants try to reinvent the wheel with Caesar salads, save the kale for something else). I got a breakfast poutine with sausage added. Coffee was fresh, and the place was busy on a Sunday afternoon. Definitely recommend and will be going back.

I visited on Sunday July 28th for a friend s 40th birthday brunch. I knew the food was delicious (having visited during the winter) but I had no idea how lovely the back patio was. This will definitely be one of my go-to spots for brunch/lunch now that I know about the patio! We were a large group and the food amazingly all came out fresh at once, and everyone raved about what they ordered. A must try in Leaside!

Amazing Nutella pancakes and spicy eggs Benedict!!

Have been wanting to try forever and was so pleased that a friend and I found ourselves just down the street today. Here on a Saturday at noon. Busy but no wait which was nice. Lovely hostess with fantastic pink glasses. Even warned us to sit on the outside of the four top table as the a/c tended to drip on the inside seats. Nice heads up! We sat at a table right beside the line (open kitchen). This kitchen was running so well! Calm and efficient. The owner was behind the line, not cooking but expediting and keeping the ship even keeled. So great to see! We ordered mimsoas and a Schnitzel Benny to share as we had never had one before and they looked huge! I have to say, chefs kiss!! The chicken schnitzel was perfectly breaded, not over cooked, not greasy at all, crispy and juicy. Nice tomato and mushroom sauce and the cheese was melted enough to stretch. The eggs were cooked a lovely soft poached. The Hollandaise had a a nice acidity to it and was light. Multi coloured homefried potatoes and a spring mix salad finished it off. Portion was large!! If I had any complaints it would be the Hollandaise was lost/over powered by the tomato sauce and that the potatoes had no seasoning at all. The mimsoas were made with fresh orange juice and were so good! Service was attentive and friendly. Full 5 stars all around! Ill be back to try some of their other Bennys!! (Sorry. Pics are after we split the meal already - we EACH got a full schnitzel so that pic is just one of them.)

Love this place! Just happened to walk-in with my sister and I am happy we ended up here because the service and food were excellent. The host, who greeted us at the door, went above and beyond, Ill be back just to chat with her, shes so friendly and welcoming. I had the Chicken+Waffles and my sissy had the Crab Cake Eggs Benny, everything was delicious! Highly recommend!!!

Ramona Kitchen is a flat out 10! I came in for a weekend visit and I was unaware where to eat. I don t do the tiktok research so I checked locally where food was and I check the stars and went for my own judgment. 1608 Bayview Ave remember this because Ramona s is the spot by far. The food is a 10, the service is so good, actually great. They are very clean as well. I ordered the Dads Breakfast and I never take food home, but I left with some extras because I was stuffed! It s a filling meal and a great deal. All I can think was we need this back home. Much love to Ramona kitchen, this is my spot every time I visit Toronto now. (The meal came with blueberry pancakes too)

Guys. Please listen to me. Pesto is simple to make, but these guys have this finesse where it s really out of this world. I ordered the grilled pesto chicken sandwich, and let me tell you There is nothing dry about it. Amazing taste. It s fresh YET the service was reasonably fast. There is an uber deal for it and deals on other sandwiches. I highly recommend everyone to try it out. To the owner, please keep doing what you re doing. Amazing job! Quality is amazing. Portion is good. It s filling without that disgusting feeling of heaviness.

I must start off by saying the food is amazing the thing thats really making me rate this low is the cook was coughing all over the place onto the food didnt cover his mouth once nor did I see him wash his hands which is absolutely disgusting I got a salad and my friend got a burger they were great but we kind of hesitant to eat it because of how the cook was coughing and wiping his face with his hands we felt awkward to send back the food because he was coughing and there was only two people in there service was nothing special but needs to be more sanitary especially regarding coughing spreading germs Ive worked in the restaurant industry and being a cook and wearing shorts has never been acceptable nor a hairnet so Im very surprised how this cook is cooking like this its not up to normal standards and I probably wont be going back as Im already starting to feel run down I should have trusted my gut and just sent back my food.

Western Benny (was good but want to try normal Benny next time). Dads breakfast was a huge portion of food and great. Challa French toast was amazing. Been a while since I had a good French toast.

What an exceptionally lovely brunch experience today at Ramonas The best brunch weve had in Toronto, with warm personable service, and food that tastes absolutely delicious. We had the chicken and waffles, which was amazing. The waffle was the perfect sweetness and the chicken on top was crisp, full of flavour and light. Youd think that all chicken and waffles should taste like this, not sure how they make it look so easy. The breakfast burger was the best breakfast burger Ive ever had. The meat, bacon+sauce flavour balance, tricolor fries and salad were exceptional. The Lavender matches latte was amazing as well, very yummy and light. Last but not least...the milk chocolate cookie was divine. I could come back JUST for the cookies lol. Thank you very much Ramona, Gail (I hope I spelled your name right!) and all staff for all your work and lovely experience you provide. We will be back soon!
