Another hidden gem located at Parliament and Wellesley. The prices are very reasonable and the quality does not disappoint. The food is amazing; authentic curry, a burger that I dream of weekly. The club sandwich is one of the best if tried ever.

I lived in Toronto when I was a student between 2012 and 2016, I lived in the building next to the restaurant and I ate there Alfredo pasta and brusheta 2 times a week for the 4 years I lived there and it was always the best, it s been 8 years now that I moved back to my country and the taste is still in my mouth, thanks for the memories and hope you never closes so I can visit now with my wife and baby .

Now, this place is fabulous . The prices are reasonable. Were here almost every other day. My partner goes here for lunch without me sometimes, and I get jealous Im not with him. Must try everything on the menu. I even have a favorite spot to sit in. Far corner by the front.

I love it here! Reasonable and classy. We are repeat patrons- and will be back again. The only possible thing which could have been improved was with my party member who needs 100% gluten free foods, due to very serious health concerns, celiac being one of them. Perhaps in the future the food preparing staff and the waiters can have a pre-planned alternative for some of the dishes. Health concerns are very legitimate and are quite common after all, and I love my people very much, would like them to have an easy time ordering and feel confident without having to explain and put forth much effort and possible embarrassment during dining as it s a cosy establishment and people hear things and tend to look over.. mind you Toronto people have quite good manners for the most part. I would try this place if you haven t been yet!! Dietary restrictions: Just a couple easy substitutions could possibly be available, and perhaps a separate cooking pan or something. Thank you very much.

After being on lockdown these people are still serving the best food in my neighborhood. Always great to be at this restaurant. Wheelchair accessibility: Just go, they will take care of you.

It is not a fancy place at first glance, an old-fashioned restaurant. But for me, its a must-go place with the home style and delicious dishes, welcoming servers, reasonable prices for great portions, and a warm atmosphere. Amazing!!!

Went there on a weekday lunch. The food was nice with large portions. However perhaps because it was a weekday, there was only 1 server for perhaps 20 people so service was slow.

Staff actually know their regulars, even if they havent seen you for years they never forget you! Huge shout out to Ruth! Food never fails! And Ive been going for almost 20 years!

Great spot for a dinner meeting. The service is good, not in a rush to get your order or get you out. The prices are amazing. The carrot cheese cake is reason enough to make it a place to go. Dont pass it up, it guarentees you will leave with a fond memory of your experience at Cranberries.

Went for our first family dinner last night and everything was perfect. The Mango Shrimp were delicious, and our Roast Pork Special and Chimichangas were scrumptious. This will definitely be a regular spot for us

Used to be a great restaurant but not anymore! My partner and I used to go to this restaurant years and years and everything was amazing but recently their food quality decreased. Today we went again, we had curry chicken with pineapple and chicken with cranberry sauce and we didn t like it at all. And that was the last time for Cranberries Restaurant. Definitely not going back again!

Phenomenal staff and delicious food. What more could a hungry diner want? Its my favourite place for brunch with friends. The wait staff are so attentive and youre never left wanting for anything. I think the only thing they wont do is roll you out of the restaurant after eating too much! I wish I could give 10 stars for the service......it would be well deserved!

Still affordable...great variety of dishes..hard to say what I like best...clubhouse sandwich is a classic, quesadillas are super tasty...beef dip wont disappoint...sweet potato fries with the cajun dip is a must....portions are legit...so far my favourite dessert is the carrot cake cheesecake.

Whenever I make my way into Toronto this is a place that I must dine at. Food is always delicious and the service and atmosphere is what keeps me coming back. Brunch or dinner options are always tasty and delicious .

The waiters were so nice and welcoming, the food was alright Im not planning to come for the food again. The atmosphere was lively and almost rustic.

Its the people that work there that ruin it Problem is, half the staff is great, and the other half are real jerks that act like they own the whole block. Norhing like a waiter making you feel below them. Has happened too many times, I give up.

I came yesterday with a group of 20 and Ruth, our server was amazing!! So organized, friendly and accommodating! Food was great, I would definitely go back!

I wish I had read reviews before ordering lunch from this restaurant today. I had the Beef Dip with a Caesar Salad and Garlic Bread. The tepid sandwich which was mostly bun was likely just luncheon meat, and the Jus reminded me of a really watered down powdered gravy. The Caesar salad which was a wilt-y gloppy mess, had the type of parmesan that is the heavily processed powder that will outlast cockroaches which you can buy in a shaker at any grocery store. Its only redeeming quality being that it had actual bacon on it. Im fairly sure the garlic bread never even looked at a clove of garlic, and was basically just buttered bread that touched the pan for all of 5 seconds. Im not sure if its bad cooking, or bad ownership, but I wont order from here again. I dont expect perfection from food that was delivered, but even still this was badly below the mark for palatable. I will now have to now go apologize to my wallet, tastebuds, and my stomach which is still hungry, because I couldnt be bothered to eat it.

Love Red Cranberries One little thing, the chicken parmesan with Linguine Alfredo is way too garlicky! A hint of garlic is okay, but dont let it dominate a tasty dish. And it comes with garlic bread!

After living in the area for almost a decade and saying well go check it out some time, we finally did just that. I really wish we hadnt put if off for so long. It was a great meal. Nice, quiet (but not too quiet) restaurant with incredibly friendly service. Aheeshan (hope I got that right) was our server and really made us feel at home from the time we entered the restaurant. Well definitely be coming back. Pre-pandemic prices too! Side note, they have specials written all over the walls that arent on the menu. Dont miss them. Some are daily and others are everyday specials but all of them are great deals! And if you have something you want and it isnt on the menu, just ask. They accommodated all of my requests (even pickled jalapenos for my sandwich which is pretty specific but they had them!).

This place was a really great place. I didnt know what to expect but the service was great and the food was even better. The starter was absolutely amazing and the main was pretty good. Its an Amazing place. The best part is that its not a big commercialised chain. Very delicious meal it was.

This little place is old school gem.be it Monday wings or just to grab a beer but best is thanksgiving turkey one of the best you can have around this area .

Ive tried various items on the menu and have not been disappointed once. If you are a burger lover like myself, their burger with cheese & bacon is definitely one of the best burgers in Toronto. The cost, with excellent skin on fries and burger including fixings, around $15. And of course! The Service! They always get above the going rate tip from me. Take out - No Problem! And no, I do not know anyone that works there nor the owners.

The food is delicious! Brought the whole family and each picked completely different types of cuisine and it did not disappoint at all.

Wonderful neighborhood feel to the restaurant. Food is excellent and beautifully plated. Our brunch of pancakes with maple syrup, fruit and whipped cream was delicious and for $11 a great deal.

The restraunt deserves a 5 star in my opinion considering many factors. The service is great, the food is awesome. Something about it makes you wanna go back. The feel is warm and Homely once inside. The only down side is the location, we walked by a few times before we stumbled into this amazing place. Not that we were looking for it we were just hungry and wanted to eat. You can easily pass-by it given its location. Having said that, for those who know and appreciate the place always keep going back . You can make a reservation too if you need to.

I was introduced to this restaurant during a good friends birthday celebration. We booked the party room hall and I was served by the most beautiful and efficient waitress Ruth. Ruth s smile was contagious even through the mask, she was on point with the orders (mind you there were about 20+ of us). The food was delicious and the portions were fulfilling. We had the choices of a handpicked menu created for the birthday man! The food was served on time and it was delicious. I had the salmon which was cooked to perfection with a side of mashed potatoes and green beans. I usually take pictures but this plate looked and smelled so good I dove into it without hesitation and remembered too far in to waste my time with a photo of it you ll just have to take my word and leave me a note if you found this helpful

first time here, and wont be the last! wish i could give 10 stars! the servers were super nice, and very informative about the menu, they created such a great atmosphere, and experience. food was amazing! great potion, great value. Im not really a fries person, but they have the best sweet potato fries ever, the ingredients are so fresh, you can taste everything. my husband doesnt like salads, but he finished his ceaser, before his burger. lol considering this place has been running for over 20 years, the interior was very vintage, charming and clean, must try this little Gem on parliament.

It was 4:15pm and the waitress was not interested in providing a menu, water nor taking my order. Eventually, after about 15 minutes she approached me. She was about to finish her shift so I placed my order asking if mild wings meant they were plain and she said yes. They wings came with a sweet sauce on them and I complained. She said she didn t understand my original question and thought I wanted the sauce. I let my companion eat them but I gave 6 wings back for the waitress to wash the sauce off and refry them. I got 5 different wings back and I will never go back to Red Cranberries again! All she was interested in was complaining about her day.

Love this place. It is like Cheers but is a dining experience. The staff are so friendly, the food is fantastic and the service is great. The only complaint I have is that the portions are too big believe it or not therefore leaves no room for dessert. Been here six or seven times prior to the writing the review.

We re from San Francisco, visiting Toronto the first time. This Red Cranberries restaurant was recommended to us. Although we will be in the city for a few days the incredible very tasty (fell home) menu, nice service and a very friendly warm atmosphere made us to plan to go back there again.

UPDATE The last 5 months Ive been ordering the food has been getting worse and worse. The food doesnt seem to be freshly cooked anymore and the taste is really bland Also, the prices have increased a great deal which is not good when the quality of food has decreased Thats why Im downgrading to a two star Hopefully things will improve. I will try again in a month or so I ORDERED The Greek CHICKEN and rice And a open flame grill steak Its sad i didnt discover tgis place before the pandemic.... But Im hooked now... And Ill be there to dine in as soon As we all can So refreshing taste and the steak was unbelievable amazing taste Im hooked on this place now Prices are very reasonable also

I don t know what happened to the service there but I kept giving them chances to improve their level Of service from their waitresses especially the red head lady. I was not impressed with her level of service. She took Our order then left us hanging never even asked how our food was nor refilling our water. We had to ask the bus boy for that and for our bill at the end of our dinner. Three times they struck out. Food was delicious but service sucks! If you re not a regular they won t pay attention to you.

Lovely place for brunch

There is this server that works there. She has so much attitude it s not funny. I ordered a banquet burger. Of course I thought a banquet burger was just cheese and bacon. Boy, was I wrong! Not to mention that the burger was not fully cooked. So I asked the server to take it back and give me what I ordered. Oh my gosh, the attitude that she had. And then wanted to charge me extra on top. Just ridiculous. However, there is another server that works there and she is simply amazing in every way. From now on I won t be going back to this restaurant unless she s working. She truly goes above and beyond.

Just went for the second time.. as good as the first. Yeah, the decor is maybe a little dated, but I dont eat the decor. Friendly service and certainly great food. Between my family and friends we have tried 6 or so of the dishes and all have been excellent, with huge portions and very reasonable prices. The daily specials are an added bonus. Wonderful homestyle cooking. I wonder how I missed this place.. but now I have a new place to go

Quite simply one of the best little places in the city. Its not fancy, but the food is delicious, WELL PRICED (the last value for money left in Toronto?) And always served with a smile. This isnt for the Instagram crowd, theres very little flash, but youll find a loyal crowd of locals and a ton of Elton John on the radio. The only reason I give this place 5 stars... Is because they wont let me give it 6.

Loved the food and waiting staff there. The restaurant had a very homely atmosphere. The seating arrangement is very simple. The music played in this restaurant is very MOR. They play music that falls in the categories of AC, soft rock or old RnB/Soul. Overall, the perfect place to go to when you dont feel like dressing up to much and just want to your time with family/friends. I loved it. I will be back soon.

If you want to feel like you have stepped into a real neighbourhood restaurant, look no further. We have been in town for two weeks and have been eating out every night at some of the fanciest restaurants in the city after each work day. We were visiting a friend around here so wanted to find some good comfort food for lunch. Not only is the food AMAZING, the server (I wish I had gotten her name), was like being served by family. She made recommendations about the food and we took all of them. Literally the best wings I ve ever had. It was like magic. Thanks so much for an amazing experience and making an excuse for us to come back to the neighbourhood!
