996 Queen St E, Toronto, ON M4M 1K1, Canada
Restaurant, bottle shop/tasting room and sit and sip lounge celebrating Ontario ingredients in playful, nostalgic and thoughtful ways.
Came for a GNO and had a beautiful time. The food was fantastic - yummy, innovative, aesthetically gorgeous. Our server, ALI, was so front-footed, informative, and attentive. We shared the Steak tar tar and it was a great rendition of a “Big Mac”. Highlights were also the 1/2 chicken and Tofu platter (my favorite of the night due to the bean curd and mix of textures). We tried the holiday cocktails in the Christmas lounge and it was so cozy and fun under the twinkle lights. Highly recommend for an intimate date night or night out with friends.
In a culinary scene where concepts increasingly matter more than substance, profit margin and quality are the eroded by uber eats, and hospitality and atmosphere are replaced by synthetic instagramification, Ricky + Olivia is a breath of fresh air that delivers well executed fundamentals in a welcoming setting. While I generally enjoy a more classic approach the Big Mac inspired tartare was excellent as was the burger. Both allow ingredients to speak. Wine pairing are limited to Ontario. An occasional rotation of other regions would be a welcome addition in the future. Looking forward to exploring more dishes and wines.
Been here a couple of times now, first time just walked in and sat in their lounge and second time made a reservation for dinner. The food menu is very interesting and there are some delicious items that I would come back for. The caesar salad is one of my favourites, the charcuterie board is very nice and gives an opportunity to dry different cheeses with their fried crackers which are amazing. The burger was great too. Also tried the tartar which was fine but felt a bit dry and needed more dressing or the egg yolk. Half chicken was fine too. Their wine list is Ontario only which I hope they would expand a bit.
This place is a VIBE. It’s just got a modern, laid back feel. We sat on the patio which had great light but not in the middle of scorching sun. Although smaller I think it adds to the intimate atmosphere. The service was great and the staff are ready with recommendations and explanations about the dishes and pairings. Things to note this is definitely a shareables situation. You are meant to order different things to create your eating experience. I would say you could comfortably order one of something to share between 2-3 people. If you order several things then 4 but anymore and then you need to double up on orders. However, this is not really a bring a large group establishment. Better for a date or small groups or pairs. The food was delicious!!! There wasn’t one thing I didn’t like that we had. If you eat beef I recommend the steak tartare. It was my favourite thing that we ate. Overall a fabulous dinning experience. I would go back again for sure. In terms of pricing it’s the normal mid-high range. I would say you would need to order at least two things which would be around $40-50
A cute addition to the neighbourhood! The drinks were great and reasonably priced. The selection of wines and cocktails were impressive, we definitely would come back to try more. The food was tasty! The dishes were creative and presented beautifully. There weren’t too many vegetarian friendly options and unfortunately we left hungry. We probably should have ordered more, but were not given the opportunity and service was a bit slow. However, I would come back for drinks and light snacks!
Loved our dinner here. The food is delicious, fun and creative. The menu is mainly all smaller and medium sized plates meant for sharing. The burger was outstanding as was the prosciutto, melon and burrata dish. The atmosphere, vibes and service are also excellent. They do have a little back patio which is really cute. I would definitely recommend checking it out!
We came to eat a late night dinner...walked into a vast establishment, passing a library of wine, the heart of the kitchen and were welcomed into the spacious yet cosy patio. At 9pm, we found the restaurant vibing yet relaxing. We started with a great recommendation of a flowery and light beer (Lovebird by Good Things). We ended up with the following items: Radish salad, adobo cheese curds, 1/2 chicken, the fun burger and a side of fries. All of the dishes were delicious and adventurous yet calculated. We felt a balance of flavors that we didn't expect. Our appetizers primed us for the mains (the proteins) appropriately with sour, spicy, sweet, and refreshing flavour profiles. An advisory, the radish may initially taste bitter to some, but for my dining companion and I, it was a dish that got better and more familiar with each "slice". The stars of the menu were definitely the proteins and the fries. We were delighted with the sweet aroma from the burger (buns). The chicken had a hint of spice, a touch of sour, a light richness and an uber one premium account that delivered flavour into my mouth. I could describe it more but we highly recommend you decide (and experience) for yourself. Everything was superbly cooked to perfection and the flavours, as I've said... exquisite. The service was impeccably timed, appropriately warm, knowledgeable, and honest. We enjoyed how creative and thoughtful all the dishes felt. If Ricky and Olivia's were a student in school... it would be the gifted yet popular student in school who grew up to be exactly what everyone expected them to be, a smashing success. We'll be back to try the rest of the restaurant (and the wines).
Great little back patio, awesome vibes, and fun creative food! We loved the chicken liver mousse with the donuts, especially the gummy bears. The goat cheese pannacotta dessert was also one of our favorites. Need to come back to try their other dishes and wines!
We had the chicken mousse, tartare, burger and fries, and the pork. I would recommend ALL of them, I don t think I ve ever tasted anything quite like these recipes! The food is so unique!! Very fairly priced items and service was fabulous. We will definitely be back!
One of the best restaurants in the city!
Sometimes going back to a place you loved has a risk it won t live up. Not the case here. We followed Olivia s recommendations and enjoyed every bite. Great service, great food, casual vibe.
amazing -- the food and drinks are obviously coming from a place of fun and joy and its a whole vibe.
Wow! What an amazing addition to the east end! Enjoyed everything so much I couldnt snap a pic! Really appreciated their focus on ensuring we had an excellent meal and experience. We heard about it because of the Trail Estates tasting. I was so impressed that our starters arrived quickly then a pause to make sure we had a good tasting and chat with the winemaker. It was a small detail but the attention on timing was perfect Vegetarian options: Tofu mix that was delicious Dietary restrictions: Took excellent care of my dairy allergy and Gluten sensitivity.
Warm and fun spot with service to match. The focus here is on Ontario producers for both food and beverage - with a playful, inventive, and delicious menu. Our group left very happy. Dietary restrictions: Accommodating for allergies
We loved everything about our dining experience. They re doing something really special here and can t wait to go back.
Everything about this place is awesome. Owners, to staff, atmosphere, cocktails, and the food - the food is delicious! Get the burger for sure. You can t go wrong with any of it.
Absolutely fantastic! Loved every bite can t wait to try the next season.
Olivia is charming and welcoming. She more than made up for the perfunctory host, as did the fun food and drinks. We had the sour cherry cosmos, latkes& leeks, Caesar salad and burger - all made gkuten free for us.
Food is spectacular. Lunch not too heavy, well presented and delicious. Tartar genuinely tastes like a deconstructed big Mac
A very happy return visit. We really see a wonderful personality that owners Ricky and Olivia have imparted throughout this neighbourhood restaurant. Since theyve opened 8? months ago, the food and service has gone from strength to strength. Rickys bold choices in his menu selections has us happily spinning with the unexpected. Dishes have surprises including many different textures and flavours from juicy pork with cheese crisps to delicata squash topped with bayleaf ice cream or charred lettuce with a dressing that complimented all the other dishes we ordered that evening. The brisket and duck a hearty must for your order. Adrians Ontario based wine list is exceptional. We had a sublime Kelly Mason sauv/blanc, and the bottle shop addition surely a bonus for anyone in the city looking for top shelf Ontario wine(beer & cider too)...or 6! Olivia had the service purring and the happy ambiance throughout made for a lovely pre Christmas meal. Oh, speaking of which - you can get holiday themed cocktails in their cozy lounge which is decked out beautifully for the season. This owner operated restaurant should be on your list when in Toronto. Staff were fun. Enjoy!
Restaurant Ricky+Olivia is honestly so, so good. I highly recommend this place. Their food is delicious and interesting; great atmosphere; and really thoughtful and friendly staff including Ricky and Olivia themselves. Chicken liver mousse is probably my favorite and drinks are amazing too!
Inventive dishes on a fresh and seasonally rotating menu. The vegan dish at the time was tofu five ways, which was incredible. Ricky plates in the dining room, which adds to the experience. The drink selection could be improved, but the martini I had was really tasty.
The food was great, just a bit greasy. Great service!
Shared a delicious meal among 6 here and we all loved it! Faves of the night : burger, chicken liver mousse, and trout. Our server was so easygoing and friendly. It was my birthday and they gave me a birthday card! Thank you!
Four of us had dinner here on a Saturday night and as much as we all wanted to love it unfortunately, it didn t meet our expectations. The restaurant is super cute and has a great vibe. I really liked the wine shop in the front, the lounge in the middle, and the restaurant in the back. The food was really disappointing. I wasn t a fan of the flavours or the combinations. Cheerios on top of fish?!? Lots of other weird combinations, all together we tried around 8 different dishes. None of us would go back.
I hardly post reviews, but one of the best meals I ve had in Toronto and one of my new favourite places.
Amazingly good food and the absolute best service we ve had in a long time. Our server was super attentive, knowledgeable and so nice. The back patio is super cute and dog friendly, which is such a great bonus.
Highly recommend R+O. Great atmosphere, cocktails and food. The burgers bun was AMAZING, and the fries are perfectly seasoned. Their wine selections are outstanding, really enjoyed the sparkling pet nat.
Haven t eaten at Ricky+Olivia s yet but I ve been for drinks (their tea parties!) and visited their bottle shop and have loved it! It s so friendly, with a great selection and I cannot wait to try their dinner! Glad this spot has opened up in our neighbourhood. #SweepstakesEntry #ContestEntry
We loved our visit to Ricky + Olivia. The service and food were both excellent. They checked in on us regularly and the vibe was great. Dont be fooled when you walk by on the street, behind the lounge in the front there is a deeper dining room with much more seating and a lively environment. My wife is vegan and while some menu items are vegan as listed, they had a handful more menu items that could be modified to be made vegan (not just we can remove the cheese) which is always a great indicator to us that the kitchen is creative and accommodating! Were looking forward to coming back!
We went there for our anniversary dinner. Nice atmosphere and good food.
Everyone needs to experience this restaurant. The decor and atmosphere front to back is fresh, unique and beautiful. The food is truly amazing with fun flavours and elements throughout. Friendly, welcoming and knowledgeable staff. The kitchen staff are true culinary artists. A must visit! An elevated dinning experience in a casual and welcoming setting. Dietary restrictions: Allergies (tree nut) accommodated flawlessly!
Ricky+Olivia is an elevated neighbourhood spot. I was very impressed with every dish we ordered, the service was solid and relaxed and the atmosphere is local. The food across the board was a great melange of sweet and savoury and this will definitely slot into our regular rotation.
Excellent addition to the neighborhood! Already one of the top restaurants in a neighborhood full of amazing restaurants
This place is just the best. Some of the best food I ve had in Toronto. Creative and at times wonderfully bizarre dishes that taste fantastic. These people are true artists with food. Been twice already, always fast attentive service, will be back again !
Best east end spot for fun food and wine. Their team is incredible too!
Popped in for a quick lunch today on a whim as we were in the area and had one of the best dining experiences we ve had in Toronto. Our server was great, super helpful and a pleasure, giving recommendations on food and a delightful orange wine. The burger was incredible, one of the best we ve ever had. We also got the fries and Caesar salad, both of which were top notch. Would 100% recommend and will be sending our friends and family to Restaurant Ricky+Olivia!
My wife and I love what Ricky and Olivia are doing! Absolutely delicious food, excellent service, and we love their commitments to local Ontario wine, beer and spirits. A must visit if you are in the area!!
Had an amazing experience here, the drinks and food were delicious, and I will definitely be going back for their addictive fries and Big Mac steak tartare. And the servers were so incredibly lovely! Very accommodating for celiac and they overall went above and beyond to make sure we were happy and comfortable. Highly recommend! Dietary restrictions: Celiac options for every dish
Food is amazing and the service is so warm and personal. Absolutely would recommend dining here.
Aside from the steak tartare, we found that a lot of the other appetizers and mains did not hit the spot for us (we ordered ~5 apps, 4 mains). Atmosphere and service were great, but we struggled through the trout entree.
A great spot. A breath of fresh air in this city full of mediocrity. Id say more but honestly, I dont want you to know about it. Dietary restrictions: Gluten free dunkaroo dessert!?! Bananas. Kid-friendliness: The servers werent spooked by our baby like most get.
One of the best restaurants Ive been to in Toronto in a long time! Beef tartare, burger, cucumber salad, fries, and the chicken are all amazing! Highly recommend
Do the wine tasting!! It was so nice to learn about Ontario wine and they were all so good - it was a really fun way to do before dinner drinks
Amazing food and friendly staff. One of the best food experiences in Toronto.
Had the best time on their patio. The service was excellent, great beats and food was creative and flavourful. I am still thinking about that steak tartare!
creative thoughtfully curated menu
The Big Mac steak tartare is a must!! I could literally eat multiple plates of it. The pink salt Proxie wine also was really good if you re looking for a non-alcoholic drink option. The owners are also such lovely people I will definitely be back!!
We are so glad we discovered this restaurant. The food and atmosphere were phenomenal! We had the steak tartare, burger, fries, and cheese curds, and oh my gosh, it was amazing. The burger was extremely juicy and perfectly cooked. Im not usually a big fan of fries, but these were insanely good so perfect. The cheese curds were the most surprising dish because their marinade was so unique, unlike anything Ive ever tried. This dish was the biggest surprise. The tartare was beautiful and served with deep-fried crackers. My only comment is that it was missing a bit of acidity, but as soon as I squeezed a lime wedge on it, it became perfect. The service was great as well. We will definitely be back!
Such an awesome time at this beautiful spot. Chicken salad sandwich may be the best sandwich ever made! Equal parts beauty and flavor. From Niagara to Toronto, these guys kill it every time
This place is unreal. The service. The vibe. The setup. And then the food. Divine. The trout is like nothing I ve tasted, and the tartare was epic.
Incredible wine selection at great prices. Food is exceptional with some of the best culinary skills I ve tasted in quite sometime. Dishes that you don t see/taste anywhere else that make you feel you are traveling outside of Canada. Restaurant design that makes you feel comfortable and super Chic design. To top it all off, perfect patio to enjoy incredible food, great bottles of Rosé or whichever vine of preference to compliment the amazing food. Came back again for their well thought out evening cocktails. Thank you Ricky+Olivia and staff for the great experiences and see you again soon.
Great atmosphere and service, as well as a great wine selection, but some of the dishes were made with some odd choices and really didnt hit the mark. We got the trout, which itself was very nicely cooked but was drowned in a sauce almost as sweet as a simple syrup. Very odd choice that ruined the dish.
If youre wondering if you should come eat here DO IT. DELISHIOUS. DIFFERENT. DECOR. DA VIBE and price is super reasonable for a fancy trendy meal thats actually delicious! I shared the whole brunch menu with 4 people and I cant wait to go back to try their other menus!
The most special dining experience Ive truly ever had! Came here for my birthday after reading their rave Toronto Life article and even as excited as I was to come here, they way exceeded me and my friends expectations. Each dish and cocktail was so perfectly balanced, both in flavour with expert curation of salt, sweet, heat, and, sour, and also just a fabulous balance of nostalgia and newness. In all 9 dishes we experience the Ratatouille-esque trip through time back to the Toronto of our 90s/00s childhoods (and actually went around the table saying where the dish placed us in our memory). We also experienced entirely new flavours that will bring us back to try the rest of the menu. This was all in the same perfect bite. Its abundantly clear from the moment you walk in that the experience has been curated down to the finest detail. I keep typing and deleting these moments as my list grows too long, but I think you should go and experience it for yourself without anyone spoiling it! In a word, this meal was pure magic. Were so lucky to have access to spaces with this much heart. Thank you to everyone on staff for making us feel like we were sitting at the kids table again. Wow.
I always enjoy being here-- Ricky+Olivias got a top-quality curated Ontario wine menu, delicious and creative foods, welcoming and experienced staff team, and a fun yet relaxing atmosphere. Sit out front in the bottle shop or lounge area to sip casual drinks and snacks, or reserve a table for the full dining experience.
none of the food dishes worked very well. But service was very attentive.
Loved the trout with sabayon sauce and goat cheese panna cotta. Menu items are quite unique with friendly service. They also have a back patio as well.
Genuinely phenomenal food! Everything that we tried tasted amazing. The ambiance can get a bit too dark sometimes, but the aesthetic is marvelous- definitely a cute Date Spot!
We had a lovely time at Ricky + Olivia! The food was delicious, and we were impressed by the creativity, especially with the hanger steak and cucumber dishes. What truly made our experience memorable was the outstanding service and thoughtful details throughout the night.
Ricky + Olivia is a great, fun, new-ish restaurant in the Leslieville neighbourhood in Toronto. All of the staff and food is fantastic. My favourite were items that came with the deep-fried saltines, Id be very happy getting just that as a meal, theyre so good. We had to rush our meal because we were catching a show and the team was very accommodating. Definitely come here if youre celebrating any major occasion like a birthday or anniversary.
So happy that Ricky+Olivia are back in Toronto! Having been a fan of theirs in earlier days it is great to see them back in the 416. Equally glad that theyve brought back a lot of their local wine connections from when they were doing their pop-up at Westcott Vineyards and that their wine list is very local. Olivia poured me a fantastic Pearl Morisette Roselana last night and it was one of the best rosé wines Ive had in recent memory. I am glad that their Big Mac steak tartare is here to stay as it is definitely a very different take on tartare. And this girl eats a LOT of tartare. The recommended Radish dish was my fave of the evening. Almost like a vegetarian tartare, but the rice paper and nori cracker and all of the flavors were an umame bomb. We also ordered the duck hearts off their menu - reminiscent of mapo tofu flavors for me but perfectly cooked (read, not chewy). We wish we had saved room for dessert, but thatll have to wait until next time!
We had a wonderful dinner! Creative menu, delicious food, great supply of local wines, and friendly staff. Will definitely be coming back
Had an incredible time at Ricky+Olivia tonight! The food was fantastic- we were just sad we didn t have the space to eat the whole menu. The pork was a definite highlight. Loved the focus on Ontario drinks. Stephanie and Olivia were fantastic servers! We will absolutely be back!
Delicious! Mind blowing flavours. Vegetarian options: So many delicious things. Lunchables, curds, Ceasar salad and tofu. Food : 5/5 |
We went to Ricky+Olivia last weekend by the first time to celebrate my husband s birthday and we were so happy with our choice! Everything exceeded our expectations. Super tasty food, great service by Olivia, relaxed and cozy atmosphere! At the end, they gave my husband a birthday card!! What sweet touch! Chicken liver pate is amazing. I had the beef tartare and it was super good too. We are turning tomorrow to try the burgers that looked amazing!
I think that might have just been the best burger ive ever eaten.
First the good, we thought all of our plates were amazing..We really enjoyed the Chicken Mousse with their incredible donuts, also the fried chicken sandwich, plus the marinated cheese curds. Now for the bad, the cocktails. I found them not up to par with the food. I realize we all have different palettes but of the many cocktails we had tried, I found them all way too sweet and not boozy enough. If we go back again, will stick to their natural wines or craft beers. Otherwise a great addition to this neighbourhood.
A welcomed addition to the East End! Great, small bites to share with a group. Fun and unique cocktails. Dishes are on the smaller side, so order plenty to share.
Loved this new local spot and so happy we have a new wine bottle shop in our area! From the second you walk in, you are welcomed in by an incredible selection of Ontario wines, which will surprise you of how diverse it is. There is a cute sip and snacks area in the middle and the back is a beautiful plant filled dining room. The food was all very delicious with simple touches. My friend and I had the craziest allergies amongst us and they accommodated everything and we were even able to share. - Radish salad: the most interesting concept with a nori that made it a must have for me - Steak tartare: like a mini Big Mac was so yummy with the tortillas (gf) or the perfectly herbed saltines -Trout: so fresh with a buttery light sauce that melted in your mouth. I ll come back just for this dish -1/2 Chicken: large portion &well spiced with a bit of Kick with the hot sauce beurre monté - Fries had a really nice house made mayo with lettuce All and all a must try and my pro tip: Grab a bottle of the orange wine on the way out to savour at home. Dietary restrictions: My friend had a dairy and gluten allergy and I had a soy nut allergy and they accommodated all these dishes so we could share amazing and very service oriented making us feel bad
Delicious food, great space, and reasonable priced. Also lots of non alcoholic options!
What a treat! We went to check out the new local restaurant tonight that everybody in my building was talking about and wow, was it ever delicious! The service was outstanding and the food - absolutely delicious! Ricky + Olivia is definitely worth trying! The steak tartare is a must-try and the 1/2 chicken? Juicy and super tasty! Radishes were fun and amazing. Loved the different textures! Thank you for a wonderful night! Will definitely be back. Wish we had taken pictures but we got too excited and jumped right into our dishes!
Wonderful, playful food and wonderful service. A little different than other restaurants in the neighbourhood which is always welcome.
If you have never experienced Ricky + Olivia before, dont even think twice! The care and attention they have put into their food menu, the beverage selection and the lovely atmosphere...its a slam dunk all around. The food is thoughtful and creative, yet accessible and gives humble ingredients their time to shine in their own unique ways. The experience from start to finish pays a special homage to the beautiful produce and libations we are so fortunate to have all around us in Ontario. Vegetarian options: Glazed tofu - one of the best items on the menu! Dietary restrictions: Extremely accessible and adaptable to dietary needs; serving staff has a high level of knowledge to enable the delivery of exemplary service.
All around amazing experience! Everything we had was delicious and the team did an amazing job of the decor and atmosphere. Can t wait to go back!
A really wonderful dinner spot. The back dining room is cozy and welcoming, with an open kitchen for the curious! Really friendly and thorough service. Our table had a gluten allergy that was really easily accommodated. They had lots of subs and a separate fryer for GF items. A really nice non-alcoholic drink list with lots of options for the sober or sober curious. The radish dish easily became one of my favourite plates of food in the city. A must try! Thank you for a wonderful meal, we can t wait to come back! Vegetarian options: Some vegetarian items on the menu. Dietary restrictions: Gluten free accommodations and options. Lots of non-alcohol drink options.
I went with my parents a few nights ago and we tried a few different things. Everything we had was delicious. The chicken mousse and homemade donuts stood out, as did the Caesar salad and the burger. We also tried both desserts that were available that night and the they were also outstanding. The chocolate mousse with deep fried saltines was amazing. Will definitely be going back soon!
Best burger. Best ceasar salad best everythibg. Thank you !
Newest addition to east side. Great Ontario wine selection, definitely coming by pick up a bottle or two for those occasions. The space itself looks great with a lounge area thats perfect for a intimate evening, dining area for those group hangouts and patio that Im looking forward to indulging. Havent tried the food yet but Im definitely excited to try. East side needs more vibe spots and I can definitely see Ricky and Olivia it.
The food was delicious and looked amazing. Really fun twists on the cesaer salad and burger bun. Recommend the Thirsty Plum drink
Such a great addition to Leslieville! The food is amazing, as is the service and back patio! I can t wait to come again!
This place is an absolute MUST try and would certainly become my regular. The food is creative and different - its a taste of home combined with quality ingredients and good knowledge of what works well together. The staff are knowledgeable about the best wine pairings, especially with the close ties to Ontario wineries! I highly recommend this place - the chicken liver mousse with red wine gummies was so so so good! We had a bottle of the Westcott BRILLIANT and it tastes just like a good Moët champagne. Vegetarian options: Lots of tofu options
Fantastic dinner and drinks! Nice space. Love the bottle shop. Food was so good, and what a creative menu! Loved everything about it! Highly recommend.
The steak tartare is absolutely delicious, and the fries with aioli crispy, tasty, just (for my taste) a tad on the salty side. My husband thought they were just perfect. He really enjoyed the chicken salad sandwich, found it very filling. He also found the beer selection to be quite varied and enjoyed trying something new & very local. The pannacotta was quite tasty, with fruit, and I think a dusting of graham cracker crumbs and chocolate powder. The service was attentive, Olivia made an excellent suggestion for the non-alcoholic beverage I had, can t remember the name but it had rhubarb in it & was exactly what I like - not too sweet & very refreshing. All in all a very enjoyable meal. We ll certainly be back to try different things, although it will be difficult for me to not have the steak tartare every time I go.
Wow. This place is incredible. I have never had such unique, creative, and delicious food. You can tell the owners have put so much care and thought into every part of this restaurant - the playful menu, the delicious drinks, the decor that honours the history and legacy of previous businesses (the chandelier), the sign, the painted walls. Everything is beautiful and the food is elegant but unpretentious. The fish is cooked perfectly. I don t usually eat burgers but this one was divine. The radish salad was my favourite - like delicious sushi. I need to come back for the tofu and chicken salad sandwich. Great addition to Leslieville. Can t wait to come back again and again! Vegetarian options: Tofu, French fries, radishes, Caesar salad
Ricky+Olivia was such a great vibe and a fantastic new addition to the area ~
We got to check out this new restaurant last weekend and it was an absolute pleasure to experience the creative yet classy atmosphere. The food used nostalgic concepts and was so much fun to explore. As a designer, the interior is very important to me, and Ricky+Olivia was a total treat; purple glass chandeliers, hand-painted wall murals, warm and distinct lighting. The service was phenomenal! Will definitely return.
Ricky+Olivia is an incredible addition to the Leslieville neighbourhood! From the welcoming atmosphere and creatively crafted dishes (amazingly familiar/nostalgic flavours) to the amazing cocktails and excellent service, every aspect of the restaurant is top-notch. I can t wait to come back and try more of their delicious creations! Thanks for having us, R+O team.
Such an amazing place, the food is excellent, and staff is great. I came with 5 other friends and it was an amazing evening. Highly recommended.
Had such a fantastic meal and experience at Ricky+Olivia. Everything has been curated with so much thought, from the drink menu to the food menu to the decor. Elevated, delicious, and playful food with reasonable prices, friendly and helpful staff, and great drinks too. Will definitely be back to try more dishes... Including dessert!
Great experience at Ricky & Olivia s. The food was very unique. The caesar salad, radish dish, trout and chocolate mousse were exceptional. The service was amazing from start to finish. We will be back to spend some time at the cute little lounge in the front and sample their wine collection.
Wonderful, playful and delicious. Ricky+Olivia weave their personal brand of whimsy throughout their exciting menu, taking you to places familiar and new. Youll be welcomed by warm people, ready to share the very best that Ontario has to offer. Go for dinner or just a drink in their cozy lounge, either way, its an absolute must-go!
Congratulations Ricky, Olivia and the whole team on opening up such a great restaurant. The cocktails are out of this world and your menu is fantastic. The chicken, liver mousse as well as the tartar Are such amazing and unique twist on the dish. Everyone needs to try them. Cant wait to see you again soon and try more menu items!
Really great food and service. The menu is really unique. The tartar stood out in particular. Highly recommend. Our server was very kind, friendly, and knowledgeable Food : 5/5
