This is my first google review. There were no burgers, no fried chicken, no Biriyani, and no NAAN. At this point I had to ask what they even had available. They shouldn t be advertising these items on the windows if 80% of their menu was unavailable, or should consider closing early for the day. **UPDATE** After we left the restaurant, the only worker that was there locked up the door and left in a haste after us, we re really starting to think she didn t want to prepare our actual orders because she had more important things to take care of after I guess..

Located at the busy intersection of King/Roncesvalles and Queen St. Is a wonderful little gem. Visit during the afternoon of a November Saturday. Only one other patron present. The attendent was patient as we made up our minds about what to eat. We ordered two chicken shawarmas and they were delicious! Plus you get buy one get one half off. They were made with care and he brought them right to our table. The best chicken shawarma Ive ever had. I highly recommend. Buy two, save one for later. The restaurant was a bit cold (it was only 9 degrees outside) but it was clean. The prices between the menus were different, they didnt correspond. But there are various middle eastern/Indian dishes and foods to buy. As well as Korean menu options. If youre in the area I encourage you to have a visit! Vegetarian options: Vegetable shawarma, vegetable plate, falafel plate Wheelchair accessibility: The entrance is sloped so its wheelchair accessible.

Theyre $10 grilled chicken shawarma is to die for. I have yet to find out what the secret sauce is. Definitely high quality food. This is definitely my spot. And the friendly stuff really do go above and beyond for a great experience thank you guys. Authentic.

I waited 20 minutes for shawarma and salad to be prepared, even though there was no one else at Roha s. I could have gotten a steak at the restaurant next door for the same time and money.

I try to support local businesses, but we ordered the butter chicken dinner that did not come with rice, a chicken shwarma plate that came as a wrap (and I was charged for the plate) and a beef burger that we asked to have NO condiments except cheese and lettuce but instead we got a chicken burger, the bun was cold and there was lettuce, cucumber, tomato and some sort of sauce. The same sauce i believe on my shwarma which tasted like french dressing. Oh well, I tried. They need to decide what kind of cuisine they are serving. Having nachos, club sandwiches, chicken biryani, shwarma, chicken fettucine alfredo on one menu using a rearrangement of the same ingredients is not very good.

I paid $15 dollars for 6 small ieces of chicken in 8oz of butter sauce and one nan pita cut in 4 pieces. How is this a propper meal for $15

Wanted to stop by this restaurant for awhile. It was an excellent experience. Even though it has sex trafficking. They were very kind. They treated me with respect. We really, really, termdeously appreciate the efforts. Very grateful for all the efforts of everyone who is trying to find me... I really appreciate someone being kind and integral.. mom I know your looking dont give up!! There is and answer its the weakest time line... we think. Lmao not crazy just cant believe that that women that interacting with is my mother who I know loves be beyond belief! Not the officers pretending to be my mother. Love you mom and miss you dearly!

Love the Indian food here! Have been there twice and ordered first the butter chicken and then the Bengali breakfast. Worth it every time.

IT WAS SO GOOD OMG. like as a student, seeing that kind of pricing for that type of shawarma was so nice. plus their service was great, they really took their time cooking it, and it was really well-made and it was delicious. ME AND MY BROTHER ATE THE TIGER SOMETHING SPECIAL SHAWARMA AND IT WAS AMAZING. I just wish I lived closer to it so I could eat there more THEY HAD THE TWO SHAWARMAS or I think breakfast menu items, FOR BUY ONE GET ONE 50% OFF thats why I put for each person its 1 to 10$ cus of that!!!!

Yesterday feb 13 I work close by and decided to try the new place. Yesterday was my second visit. On the first visit I Ordered chicken Biriyani which was very delicious and I told all my coworkers about the place and the food . So yesterday I I took my coworker And ordered the same dish but chicken Biriyani did not taste the same as it did before. It was not only very bland but it also looked stale. The salad served was smaller in portion then my first visit. I usually am not a picky eater and don t comment but today I felt very embarrassed because I had bragged so much about the biryani to my coworker who also found the food very bland.

I m sorry guys, but that was very disappointing. The worst shawarma wrap in Roncy. The meat (beef) was good though and the owner (?) was very friendly. Everything else was bad, I can t believe they charged me 15 bucks for it. Wrap was very small, there wasn t enough sauce, the pita was stale and everything was cold. Like a sad subway sandwich pretending to be shawarma. Really wanted to support new business in the area but ended up feeling ripped off and disappointed. Please do some research, train your staff and put some soul in your shawarma, now it s not good at all.

I don t know how to describe this place wow I went and ordered Hyderabadi biryani as biryani is my favourite and a shawarma wrap it was I think the best biryani and wrap I ve had in Toronto the counter man was super nice the place was cozy and comfortable and was just very hospitable. Make sure to visit must try 10/10 if ur passing by or a food cravi

I only provide reviews when I feel a restaurant warrants five or more stars, even though this place has just opened (its in my neighborhood..used to be a Greek Kebab place I visited occasionally) I would give it six stars if I could since the food and service here is truly exceptional. The chicken biryani is actually the closest to what my mother cooked at home that I have ever found in a restaurant. I also tried the butter chicken, I dont eat chicken often but I will now since the butter chicken is addictive. The service is as hospitable and welcoming as Ive ever experienced (and I eat out a lot). I strongly recommend this place and wish them the success they deserve.

Horrible place!!! I placed an order over the phone and confirmed the time for pick up. I drove all the way there, and arrived at the agreed time. When I got there the order was not ready. They told me I have to wait 20 minutes. We placed orders not to have to wait! But they couldnt care less. The following week, I called and spoke with the owner of the place and explained what happened the week before. Just to give them another change, I placed another order reminding him of the importance of customer service and how valuable time is for everybody. He said not to worry that the order will be ready. Well, I went there and again, nothing was ready! Not even an apology! He couldnt care less. He simply said to come back later! My time is valuable!!! Their lack of manners and complete absence of respect to customers are blatanly obvious. There are plenty of restaurants in the area. I would never go back to that place and do not recommend this place at all!!! I give them ZERO stars!

Such a lovely spot! Came to grab take out last week because I was in the area for an appointment and the owner was so sweet, I also had the best butter chicken that they made fresh. I ended up eating it all and they gave me some for free to take home as well, such a lovely extra touch that they did not need to do at all!

Chicken biryani and Curry chickpeas, both the dishes, quite authentic taste. If you are looking for spicy biryani Rojas Kitchen is to go for. I loved the biryani however it was a bit hot for me as I eat milder. The portions were great for the price. A $10 dinner is quite affordable. Would highly recommend it.

So, the place kind of skims you in a few ways the butter chicken combo only comes with one side, so butter chicken and rice is the whole combo, $18, and with a pop youre paying $20 for a pretty small serving size they do include a salad but it isnt substantial I would say the music they play is nice but there are too many points where they are trying to get more money out of you, I was asked if I wanted a drink 5 times and it became very tedious its clear the restaurants intention is to make money, and Im sure the rent is high, however it just made me day a little worse going here for a small serving size plus cold butter chicken

This place is a massive improvement from the poorly run Gyro Bar that used to be here. Samosas are just the slightest bit salty but the biriyani and butter chicken were great! The aftertaste of the biriyani was what i was looking for the most. New favourite place for food. Good job to the hard work Memo (I hope Im spelling that correctly) and his team are doing. Im excited! Please check this place out. Im not a bot, I swear. Loved Dil Se but no so much Dosa. This place is so much more convenient, has way better prices, and respectful staff. Should also mention that they do a variety of food well. Not just the biriyani or butter chicken (even if thats what Im going back for).

The food and service were great. The cashier/servers were so sweet. The restaurant was very clean and offered biodegradable products which is super cool. I m a vegan and they had a good amount of vegan/vegetarian options but I had the veggie burger and a side of fries which were pretty good so I d give it an 8/10. My mom had the butter chicken with naan and she loved it. She s closer to a 9.4/10. Her only issue was it was slightly salty for her taste but she was happy to eat it. My niece and brother in law had the chicken shawarma wraps and they were both tearing it up. They both gave it a solid 9/10. My sister wasn t hungry so she got the veggie samosas and she gives them a 8/10. Overall I say the service, food, atmosphere is a 4.8/5. I d definitely go back and recommend it to others!

Made a spur of the moment decision to finally try Rojas. Im not at all disappointed. Ive been craving chicken biriyani so I treated myself to that this afternoon. Fantastic! A huge portion of VERY delicious rice (Ill get a couple of meals out that), fall-off-the-bone chicken, a small salad, and a drink. Very reasonable! And the two ladies there were lovely, very friendly and helpful. Ill definitely be back. Their website indicates FB and IG pages but the links just send you to FB and IG, so I hope they get a social media presence going soon.

I ordered a chicken biryani and pop and it came to over $18. For this I got a can of pop with my takeout. I also received a huge take out container of rice and a small salad on the side. With the rice there was like 2 pieces of chicken. Got a piece of leg and a small piece of thigh. For $18 dollars I expect a lot more chicken and a lot less rice. As for the flavors there was a lot of bitter spices and it is hard to eat unless you are use to it.

Being a biryani fan wanted to try this out. Ordered a full portion of lamb biryani and chicken biryani . Lamb biryani was very tasty & authentic. Chicken biryani- well balanced spice and taste. Portion of rice and meat combo is very well balanced. Good for meat lovers. Each biryani comes with salad. Would definitely return to try out the butter chicken as that caught my eye. Finally, staff and owner were well receiving and friendly. Would definitely recommend to try this place out..
