Modern California style bistro and cocktail bar.
Wonderful late lunch. Found Season Six wandering Ossington. Very welcoming friendly service. Impressed with gluten-free options. Enchiladas Verde were delicious!
Wow so good! The waiter/ bartender was so nice!! ✨✨😊 He was so helpful and kind to us and so attentive. Will be coming back and super gf friendly 🤤
I happened upon this restaurant walking around town and boy am I glad that I did! The positive experience started with the service and some great recommendations for which dishes to select. The beet appetizer had a Greek dill feel. The rigatoni had a slight peeper kick which was perfect on a rainy night. 10/10 go try this place for yourself!
We had an incredible date night at Season Six. From start to finish, the service was excellent, and the food exceeded all expectations. We started with the grilled shrimp with chimichurri, which was perfectly cooked and full of flavor. For the main course, I went with the brisket, which was tender and delicious, while my date enjoyed the enchiladas, which he raved about. For dessert, we shared a decadent chocolate torte and a unique crème brûlée with white chocolate and orange, both of which were outstanding. Our drinks, a mezcal margarita and an old fashioned, were crafted perfectly and paired well with the meal. Overall, a fantastic experience, and I highly recommend it!
Walking up Ossington looking for a place to pop into for a drink. Season Six wasn't overly busy, so we jumped in. Sat at the bar for a few drinks, the bar staff was very pleasant and friendly. They had interesting seasonal specialty cocktails that we had to try. They were fantastic, to say the least. The vibe was very chill. Everyone in there seemed friendly. Would love to go back for dinner sometime.
these $6 fried stuffed olives had no right to go so hard. they served and left no crumbs. the ratatouille esque dish was sooo good too and huge for $8. we got 2 pitchers that were incredibly delicious and satiating. service was fast and the plates were beautiful. wow. farm to counter being this affordable is insane value. thank u for existing
Came with my sister and mom tonight for dinner! I asked them to accommodate a dinner size portion of of one their starters. Ayano and Mack were so nice to accommodate me! Great service, super friendly. So cute in the restaurant and the food was fantastic! I was also happy that we could make a reservation on a weekend. Will be back! Also, love anywhere that serves fresh oysters!!
Absolutely fantastic food and great service. I also liked the layout and atmosphere both inside and on the patio. Regarding food our group got the seasonal salad, rigatoni diavola, beef brisket for mains and various starters and everything was very tasty. I'd definitely revisit too.
Such tasty foods!! and really good value for money - portions were great for the price which was a nice change for Toronto. Knowing the menu changes regularly I can t wait to go back. Gluten free - almost everything was gluten free and if it wasn t could be made gluten free.
I wish I could leave a review of the food, but the restaurant canceled my reservation without contacting me first. Charming.
Season Six hosted us for our company holiday party and we had an amazing time! The service was excellent, the food was delicious, and the portions were generous. Will be back!
honestly amazing food and ambiance. I came here for a friends birthday and absolutely loved it. The staff is so friendly, personable and kind and make the experience memorable. 12/10 experience and I cant wait to come back !
Great experience.
Would give full 5 stars but they uses ice from the shaker for my old fashioned. The ice is already started its dilution process and will continue to dilute the drink quicker. Please use one ice rock for better drinks.
We were excited to try this place after seeing positive reviews and the promise of fresh, farm-to-table food, but we left feeling disappointed. The dishes lacked the freshness we expected they tasted more like frozen ingredients and the flavors were overly heavy and unrefined. For the price, there are nearby options that offer much higher quality. While the service was friendly and attentive, the ambiance didn t add to the experience; the music felt distracting and out of place. We appreciate the privilege of dining out and are grateful for that, but in hindsight, our evening would have been better spent elsewhere. 2.5 stars
It was our second time dining at Season Six. We discovered this place over the summer while walking in Ossington, and everything was perfect then, so we decided to have dinner there again last week. We went with high expectations, but unfortunately, this time, the meal left us disappointed. We ordered the Spanish Artichoke Dip with king crab, but it was served with lobster meat instead. The beef tartare was heavily topped with chives, overwhelming the flavor. The fries were crispy, though the garlic mayo was just okay. The steak we ordered medium-rare arrived overcooked. The rice with the enchiladas was cold, and the overall flavor didn t meet our expectations. However, the Crème Brûlée was delicious.
They got it right all across the board. I have a big event coming up next month and will be choosing this restaurant to celebrate and dine in at. I think that should sum up the way I felt about my experience today, truly cant say enough good things about this place.
Food was great! Loved the ambiance. Service was good. Hoping to go back in the future.
Great vibes and wonderful cocktails! Shout out to Lucy (bartender) for making me a custom Cynar based cocktail!
If a delicious, filling meal is what youre looking for, this is not the place. Food was lacking, dry, and flavourless. Poor service, and overall one of the worst experiences Ive ever had at a restaurant. We were so happy to finally get our bill and leave.
We had a private party here and we had a bartender named lucy. Honestly i had the best time because of her energy and i hope to see her again when i return!
this food was amazing and mac was so helpful. he struck up great conversation and was kind enough to light a candle on a dessert for my friends birthday.
Great spot and wonderful service. The muhammmara was good, loved the fresh veggies with it, but it was a little strong, might have been better a little milder flavor, maybe too acidic or salty but still good. The portobello al pastor was just terrible. The rice was a little undercooked and cold. The salsas were really nice but the portobello flavor was like kimchi with mushrooms. Maybe I should have tried a different dish.
Great vegan dish! Cant believe it was gluten free
I was walking by...i gotta check this out. Friendly service amazing cocktails and delicious appetizer i definitely will return with my pals
Fried sesame eggplant is worth raving about Non-pretentious spot, reservation optional. How refreshing for ossington The asparagus was forgettable (tasty but no stand out flavour or texture). Risotto verde could ve been more flavourful! Service was friendly, benches were slightly tight. Otherwise had a great time!
Cute spot and great service but the food was a bit over salted for my taste.
Beef bourguignon is a must try. Other dishes - so-so. Service was weird, the steak overdone, the beef stew (or boullion, whatever) was extremely oily.
Met up with some family members for food and drinks on a Saturday evening at Season Six. When we arrived it was pretty quiet, however it filled up later on. Drinks were great and the several appetizers that we ordered were delicious. Great vegetarian options. Will definitely be going back to Season Six when were back in the neighbourhood. Vegetarian options: One of my family members is vegetarian and really enjoyed the appetizers we ordered. The rest of us (non-vegetarians) really enjoyed them too.
great vibes and great food. came with friends and each had small plates to share, but they were big enough for a full meal. would definitely recommend the buratta with risotto and the asiago spinach/artichoke dip! all the staff were lovely as well, and drinks were delicious
Pit stop while bar hopping to recoup a bit. The kitchen had closed so our server suggested ordering food from the Mexican place next door and he could bring it to us with our cocktails. Top tier suggestion - also how lovely of him!
Would I come again: yes, gotta see next season Sunday mid afternoon stroll looking for a late mini lunch and hello there Season Six. Sat outside with the refreshing watermelon spritz for the bev. A tasty and decent portion of the grilled shrimp and the Muhammara dip. Then the Fried eggplant taking the main stage was a great choice. Honestly thought sizes were gonna be pinch but surprisingly it was more than enough.
Really great service shoutout to Chris the bartender that served us. He was super cute and made a super slay surprise me mocktail!
This place was perfect for our business staff party-! We were there for the brunch menu but it was also available to order dinner menu-! Every single menus were great but we loved the Rose Pasta the best-! And also the server(bartender) was so nice and friendly but not bothering u-! Highly recommend-!
Went to have dinner there with a friend. The restaurant is nice, but not particularly special. The service was very good. Their cocktail were delicious too. Foodwise, there were ups and downs. I highly recommend their osso bucco, as it was super tasty. The other dishes were fine, but nothing out of this world. However, stay away from that crème brulée - it was wayyyy too sweet and heavy.
This place is insanely good. The food is amazing and so fresh. Brunch was divine. You must try this place!
We got to celebrate a friend s birthday at Season Six and enjoyed the seasonal delicious food including their vegan options for dinner. Their drink selection is also worth mentioning. The chocolate cake was the crowd favourite. Prices were really reasonable especially considering the quality of produce used. Highly recommend and will be back to try famous their brunch! Vegetarian options: Had portobello mushroom al pastor with asparagus and spanish rice and salsa trio which was light and had great flavour
Lovely place with delicious food and extremely nice service. Ordered burrata sandwich brunch. Burrata was very fresh with real tasty soft middle, perfectly paired w fresh sundries tomatoes. I added side salad (souse was good), potatoes and side scrambled egg. Enjoy every peace. Mimosa cocktails also were nice.
We had a great dining experience. Rigatoni diavola and sesame fried eggplant were so delicious! Definitely coming back to try the rest of the Season Sixs menu. Food
Such beautiful food and people! A warm, lovely place
We order the oysters, tartar and steak. Nothing is tasteful, totally not worth it
Not worth it. Food are not teasty!
Fantastic visit. Menu has depth but is also concise. Good vibe with music selection. Ario made us some fantastic drinks! Food : 5/5 |
Wow so good. Great wine selection, the chicken dish blew me away and the team couldn t be more welcoming. Definitely coming back :)
Ayano and Rey were absolutely amazing they gave an incredible service to enjoy my time here. thank you!
Food was delicious. The lobster pasta is really spectacular and loved the beef tartare and dips. Only comment on the service was that they don t bring clean utensils between courses which I d expect at an establishment like this.
What a great find in a wonderful neighbourhood. Axel greeted us upon entering and never stopped being attentive. He provided great recommendations. The appetizers, the main meal, and dessert were mouth watering...kudos to the chef. The music, atmosphere and food will have our party returning soon.
Hello! Im writing to personally thank Season Six for allowing me to host my joint birthday party at their venue. Their event coordinator, Alina, meticulously planned the night, coordinated with the staff, and ensured that every single detail was taken care of on my behalf. Thank you, my friend! On the night of the party, the staff members Ayano, Lucy, Mac, and the security were so kind and warm all night. I have nothing but praise for them, and Im so grateful for their help throughout the evening. To be completely honest, all of the attendees of the event called the night perfect and the best party theyd ever been to. And I couldnt agree more with them. So, thank you, thank you, thank you, Season Six! To the owners of the restaurant Im so grateful you opened my most favourite spot in the city. Ive got nothing but love for this place, and I highly recommend you visit it soon. :)
Awesome place on Ossington for lunch or brunch. Big hearty salad with fresh tasting ingredients. Great menu. Would recommend.
I celebrated my birthday at Season Six over the weekend in the back room with about 15 guests. The staff was very accommodating, service was amazing and everyone raved about the food. We will definitely be back!
We live right on Ossington and eat almost everywhere on the strip. This spot is hands down top 3 spots to eat on Ossington if not Toronto. I think they may need to market better or do something to showcase the quality because not enough people know how good the food actually is. Easy review. Food
The amazing staff at Season Six helped host a birthday dinner for our 25-person group, and it couldn t have been a better experience. From the beginning they were extremely helpful and welcoming. They let us set up some decorations, kept our dessert in the back for us, and even set us up at Spaghetti Disco afterwards. Even though I m sure our large group was a bit stressful for the servers, especially in the beginning, they were always so kind to us and we really can t thank them enough. Also such a great atmosphere at night! Can t recommend this spot enough!
A pretty place to eat and drink well without breaking the bank!
The menu is very creative. Very fresh meals with delightful cooking style. I really enjoyed my dish.
Amazing service. Lucy is exceptional!!
Lucy is best!
Brilliant spot with gorgeous food!!
Food was incredible, Lucy was amazing
Season Six is a really cool restaurant with delicious food. Staff are all super nice, very courteous and attentive. Food was so delicious. I got the Asiago dip, burrata, and the cauliflower - all so delicious. And the chocolate torte was so good we had to get it twice. Beautiful Spanish wine available as well. Overall a great experience. Recommend for a chill night out with good food.
We attended as a large group (14) for a friends birthday party. Season six was able to accommodate us all surprisingly comfortably in their semi-private back space area. The food - a farm-to-table - style of menu kept things homey and delicious. A nice variety of options that were both visually appealing and filling! The staff was wonderful in helping us store and bring out our birthday cake for dessert after dinner too.
Tasty
Got the spinach artichoke dip and rigatoni. Overall, fantastic flavours, would ve loved to get more focaccia sticks with the dip but otherwise the food is phenomenal and the vibes are fantastic! I would recommend this place for a girl s night!
Came here with a girlfriend for a mid-week dinner and it was so lovely! We shared plates and had great wine in the cozy + cool atmosphere. Will return:)
SEASON SIX is a hidden gem! Every dish is fresh and heavenly, creating a delightful taste journey. The cozy, retro ambiance with red lights sets the perfect mood. Special shoutout to Axel his professionalism and friendly service made our night memorable. The cocktails? Simply fantastic!
Very interesting set of tart cocktails, exquisite cream brûlée
Okay! This place is prime. The food is crazy good, the drinks are amazing and we had Lucy as our bartender and she was absolutely amazing, super knowledgeable and a super bubbly and friendly person. Will be back because of her
Great ambiance, and service, in a cool part of town! Will definitely go again.
Enjoyed my dinner here. Cozy, nesty, humble and vibrant. The beef bourguignon was delish. Just wished the beef was traditionally chunky . The vegan cauliflower dish is packed with some great spices and flavors. Loved that our server knew what was in the food. Will be back at S6 soon. 4.8/5
We came here for dinner on a Wednesday night. I had the beef bourguinon and chimichurri shrimp. The ambiance was nice and laid back. The staff were down to earth and genuinely friendly. Thank you for providing us with a great experience at your restaurant
Really disappointed in this restaurant.. first, the server knew NOTHING about the wine list despite there only being like 8 wines. Couldn t say if the Chardonnay was oaked, knew nothing about where they were from or what they were like. I ended up trying two wines and both were just not good in my opinion. Our main arrived before our apps which was frustrating. When our app did arrive, it was only one that we had ordered, and we had to ask for the second one. The food itself was extremely expensive for the quality. The scallops in our pasta were not seared or anything, and the Brussels were just thrown in, and it was $36.. despite all of this we had an 18% gratuity added to our bill automatically. Wouldn t return.
Me and my breadrin came through from London 2 man steppin, met Lucy at the bar, was calm styll it was live, big up this bar.
Skip for takeout and delivery. Dishes not as advertised or photographed. Wild mushroom risotto had no mushrooms for example. Poor value and quality control for price.
Delicious food! Except service and cozy vibes. Gorgeous place. Highly recommend
went here with my girlfriend for valentines day last night and all i can say is wow the food was literally amazing and the staff was so so sweet and one guy had a really sick microsoft shirt 10/10 experience tbh!
It s a little bit over price for what it is. Service was good, but the dishes not so much one main course was cold. One was good. The starters were medium as well. kind of disappointment.
Season six does it again! This place is wonderful and I love their concept of sourcing in season ingredients for meals by changing the menu 6 times a year. This is my third time there, we ordered the baked Brie for an app (delicious but wasn t life changing 3/5 stars), chicken leg and risotto bowl (good but far too heavy on risotto for my liking 3/5) and the pork belly (WOW this was phenomenal, I would go back here 1x a month just to have this meal it was that good 6/5 stars!!). Last time I was here all dishes were 4 or 5 stars so I think we possibly chose the wrong dish for our pallets but will 100% come back
Season Six was a great little spot for an intimate dinner, we were sat in a small booth with sheer curtains which was absolutely perfect. It was fairly quiet but it was a Wednesday evening. The cocktails were great and the food was delicious.
Too bad they close early on Thursdays. Great place to grab drinks
We had an amazing server who was great with our big table. The food was good and so were the drinks.
A natural wine bar.. without any skin contacts? Service was good, the space is nice, but wine selection was meh.
Popped into the restaurant unexpectedly and was pleasantly surprised. The food tasted amazing and the service was great. Our server was attentive and very caring. The establishment had a very nice intimate vibe with great disco music humming in the background. It was also nice that we weren t rushed out at close. Would absolutely recommend.
Service was okay and food was good! Not too dissimilar to the nice sit in restaurants in the area.
Great atmosphere, great cocktails and tasty food. They made a great spicy margarita. Very nice Ossington strip location. Small settings which added to the experience.
I recently went to season six for dinner alone. I m not very used to dining alone but the staff were very friendly and accommodating. My server was Sophie, she was extremely friendly and on top of all my needs. I would Definitely recommend this place to my friends.
Had the best service on Friday night. Mac is a consummate pro. He did that thing where the server anticipates your needs before you even knew you had them.
well sized portions (not too big). good food, good drinks, friendly staff. you could tell all the ingredients were super fresh and super high quality
The team at Season 6 are so lovely and made our anniversary so special! Great food, cocktails and vibes
I came here once, at a different location on ossington, where you had to go down a flight of stairs and it was mostly salads and wow, one of the best glow ups I ve ever seen. I wasn t sure if the meals were going to live up to the price but they really did. The salad with the tuna was refreshing and it had enough olives so you could have an olive in every bite and that is truly appreciated. The scallops in the fettuccine were seared to perfection. Scallops are tricky because sometimes they get over cooked and it s just rubber but this was spot on. Excited to come back, especially during the next season when the menu changes!
Amazing food, atmosphere and staff. I ve been twice, once with my partner and another time with a friend and the bartender was so lovely and remembered us from the first time and gave us complimentary desserts! The food is so delicious and it s great that it s all seasonal based. Great selection of natural wines too.
Beautiful bar with comfy chairs, we only stayed for the 1 beers bit definitely going back again
Pretty solid experience here. Overall good meals. Had the grilled garlic shrimp, Burrata salad, scallop pasta, and risotto. Everything wa sheets and cooked well. (Burrata salad was a little heavy on the sweetness for me). We also had the crème brûlée which had great flavor but was underdone - it was safe to eat but hadn t set and was still warm. Still don t regret getting it.
While the menu seems pricey, the quantity and quality of the food and the wines are exceptional! I do recommend this gem!
We had a fabulous lunch: great food, service, atmosphere. Really a great place!
The decor and ambience was lovey. The service was as expected. Unfortunately the food was overpriced and basic-bad. We had a scollop pasta for $36 dollars - it had three medium to small sized scallops and the pasta was awful; it tasted dry as if it had been microwaved. We had a chicken and risotto that was overpriced and tasteless. The niçoise was also way over priced and the tuna was flavourless. The drinks were ok. We will not return. Based on our experience, I am baffled at their current rating.
Really delicious seasonal menu! There are definitely some hit and misses on the menu, hence the 4 stars, and since the menu is ever changing it can be a bit of a gamble. I would recommend not getting their version of any ethnic food as its just not going to be as good, but everything else is delicious!
The food was good. We had the oysters, beef tartare and the pork belly. What we really didn t like was that when the bill came, the waitress handed us the payment terminal with the tip screen asking for a tip. Then we noticed that the bill already included an automatic 18% tip. The fine print said the 18% tip is included for groups of 0 or more - why 0? Maybe I would ve paid 18% myself if the service deserved it but automatically adding it, NOT telling me it was there, and also handing me the payment terminal with the tip screen asking for another tip was a big turnoff. The food was okay but the tip experience lacked transparency and honesty. The staff should ve done the right thing and told us upfront. We paid it and left.
Great place
Came here on a Friday night outing. Really enjoyed the fresh ingredients and such, however, felt like I could have made these dishes myself. Service was pretty slow and the server didn t take into consideration my gluten allergy that I mentioned. The rest of the evening had some painful stomach issues. I presume the beef bourguignon had a rue base made with flour.
Food is good, vibe is great - highly recommend it!
Super cute little restaurant, the decor and ambiance were amazing! We got the shrimp and baked feta apps from the summer menu which were incredible. The mains (summer salad and chicken basquaise) were good but not 10/10. Would be a great drinks and apps spot:)
Cute little spot on Ossington, love that they re farm to table! Everything tasted delicious and super fresh. Their menu changes seasonally, so keep that in mind if you re looking at the menu beforehand!
Nice atmosphere #Toronto
Téo was a very kind caring server, super patient with our indecisiveness in choosing what to order and took extra care to ensure I knew what I could order according to my allergies, which I didn t even have to ask about as he saw my note I left on the reservation, appreciate that so much! Food was great and it s honestly one of the cutest restaurants I ve been too, such a vibey atmosphere. Drinks were great, even my mocktail was delicious, not too sweet! Dietary restrictions: Quality ingredients with intense flavours mean simple recipes that are much easier to adapt to be allergy friendly!
Pork belly main absolutely slapped. Good pints too. Go for it king, it s worth your time. -N
Very average food, service was unfortunately not great when we went. Felt like they forgot about our reservation and last minute threw up a table in the corner. Back room in the corner beside a large loud party. Hostess was really nice, was definitely a management screw up. From other reviews our experience doesn t seem typical though.
Very nice atmosphere. Food was good but felt hyped up and did not inspire. Also tip was automatically included, but we were prompted to add tip - which I did without thinking - only to realize after. I think that is not an honest move by the business and I did not appreciate that.
Super friendly staff.
Despite the excellent food and initially perfect service, my experience at Season Six Restaurant was ruined by the behavior of the manager. He acted totally inappropriately by humiliating an employee in front of all the customers. This was not in keeping with the role of a manager and left an extremely negative impression. Unfortunately, because of this experience, I dont intend to return to this restaurant in the future. It is essential that management takes steps to ensure a respectful and professional environment.
The food was great, the waitress was very friendly, and lunch with my wife was very good until the moment that a bad employee, I believe he is the manager, started treating an employee very badly in front of us, this is not the role of a good manager, this has always been a restaurant that I used to go to with my wife but from today we will not go anymore, our waitress was extremely friendly and she was humiliated by the manager, please review who is managing this restaurant. My wife and I decided to expose this situation because we really didnt like the managers attitude.
Had a great night here! The food is really quite exceptional for the price, the atmosphere was great for dates; lively and professional.
Wonderful ambiance and yummy food; in season, fresh, and just the right amount.
Walked by on Friday night and got two seats at the bar without a reservation. Had drinks and an appetiser. Smoked rosemary negroni was very nice.the burrata was delicious. The staff are very welcoming and the inside of the restaurant is beautiful. Would go again, probably best to make a reservation.
One of my favourite restaurants in the city. Food is amazing - love the rotating menu based on seasonal ingredients. Also, portions are quite vast.
Great food, great vibes.
We ordered a cesar salad which was really good and a chicken dish but the chicken was too salty. We asked our server and they have changed it without any questions but the second chicken dish was too salty as well, so they removed it from our bill. The service and ambience were good and we enjoyed our time there.
I never went inside this place because it looked like a low key, higher end, hipster tiki bar, but a friend said they had excellent French food....and he was correct! The service, energy, and especially the meal were all excellent. We split the mushroom risotto & osso bucco, and their take on the beouf bourguignon. The sauce, flavour, and portion size were all great. Definitely returning.
Spot on! Vegetarian options: Can accommodate with pleasure Dietary restrictions: Can accommodate with pleasure
Hosted my husband s bday this past weekend at Season Six, and it was beautiful. We had a large group for dinner, and then drinks afterwards. The staff were hospitable, and kind. The food was delicious, and the drinks were flowing all night. Special thanks to both Brook and Mac for making the night a great one. Will return in the future, and would highly recommend this stunning spot!
We walked without any reservation and we were served right away on a busy hr. Polite staff, and great food. They also adjusted my food based on my dietary restriction which so rare these days. When I get an excellent service, I have to leave a review. Thank you for making my date night with my husband memorable.
this place is the best!! i organized a surprise birthday dinner and the staff at Season Six were so accommodating and friendly throughout the planning process. the food is to die for (especially the beef bourguignon) and the drinks are delicious as well. the vibe is a perfect balance of aesthetic but not too fancy. if youre thinking of a cute fun dinner on Ossington or if you want to host a larger dinner, i would 100% recommend choosing Season Six. We will 1000% be back <3
Had an amazing night at one of their night events! Their food during the day was suuuper amazing and our server was super sweet!
Nice people Brook and Laura, food amazing, great drinks, cool atmosphere, fair prices for large portions. My family and I will come back FOR SURE!!!!!!
Fresh and flavourful! Id been meaning to try out this spot and glad I did. Placed a custom order online, picked it up in person, and absolutely loved it!
Plates were not very tasteful. We took 3 sides, Brussels sprouts were overboiled, almost mashed. Aloo gobi tasted like tomato sauce. drinks were ok. Decor is nice, nothing more.
This restaurant deserves all your money. Every single dish is so good. So well paired. I ve yet to have a dish that I didn t love. The tastiest combination of food. Absolutely stellar
Love that they do seasonal dishes. I think this lends itself to how tasty their food is, they definitely start with good ingredients. There was a little mishap with one of our meals but it was quickly resolved. The service felt mediocre, longer than expected wait times to order and get the bill. I would go again, especially to try their spring or summer menus!
Season Six is worthy of six stars. Charming Brook and Lara have pulled off a sublime experience of texture and taste. The space is comfortable and clean. The food, changing seasonally, is farm-connected and well executed. Sips are binge-able, especially the Mule. Fun service with Chris.
Unprofessional staff! Long wait for pick up order.
Food was pretty expensive for the quality and the service was stilted and awkward. Seemed like the staff were trying but it just didnt come together.
I was sad that the paneer was no longer in season but decided to try the salad instead. I am a vegetarian foodie. I have probably eaten at all or most of the vegetarian restaurants on this city and I honestly have to say that that salad is nothing short of culinary genius.
I never had a martini before, then Brook, the genius of Season Six, explained to me that a Wet & Dirty, which sounding like my ex, is a balanced mix of vermouth and olive juice. Now, martinis are officially my favorite drink and Ill definitely be back for one or two more.
Simply delicious! This is a gem on Ossington, cannot recommend it enough. So many options to choose from, but the Pork Belly was perfect. Cant wait to go back
New menu review May 2022: menus change every 2 months but this is their first radical change to a more conventional, more expensive menu. No more bowls. Rice was too soft (waterlogged) in the pork belly dish ($28). Lovely maitake mushroom dish heavy in orange flavor. Highlight: the grilled flavoured Japanese eggplant ($25). Casual service.
I truly do not understand the good reviews on here. Its been a long time since Ive had to leave a bad review. But the food here was bad enough that I have to. Went here for dinner Friday night. The chicken and risotto was bland, and frankly it just was not risotto. It was rice in a broth. The vegetarian dish (miso eggplant and grilled mushrooms over sweet potato) was even worse. Super salty, overcooked. Just bad food. I gave 1 star because the drinks were good. Service also wasnt great. I mentioned to the waitress that the food wasnt edible and she asked if we wanted it packed up to go...... This establishment should not be making food, let alone charging people for it.
Great, tasty and fresh.
Good lunch spot with solid food and very good service.
Lovely atmosphere, fantastic service, delicious risotto and one heckuva dark n stormy. Ill definitely be coming back.
Amazing interior, people, cocktails, food, and atmosphere. Food was unique, interesting, and tasty. Cant wait to return!
Great food and service ! Axell took a great care of us
Great food and reasonable priced, wish you could add a few pasta dish Vegetarian options: Lots salad selections
BE CAREFUL: The food is delicious and the portion size is magnificent. You will probably need a nap after . Music on point, decor and aesthetic lovely.
Totally disorganized! Waited much too long for a table considering the number of patrons dining, nobody seemed to care whether or not we were there We finally decided to go sit at the bar where yet again we were ignored while we Watched the sole bartender totally overwhelmed with orders We were finally lead to our table only to be left there for another 20 min while we watched the server standing there staring into space I finally asked if they can take our order By the time we got our food the hot plate was lukewarm Taste was mediocre but def not hot Ceaser salad was underwhelming and summer salad not much better Service was not worth the money paid, will def not be returning
Stopping in for dinner with a friend. It is small and is tucked in among the restaurants and bars along Ossington Avenue... so be careful not to walk past this hidden gem. The service is very welcoming, upscale without being pretentious. The menus are rotating and the wine is local, the server made wonderful recommendations for our taste and pairing for our meals. He was honest about the portion sizes and ensured we enjoyed the most for sharing versus ordering too much. This was smart because we were also able to enjoy dessert for the full experience! The inside is fairly small and the décor is pretty and light in the front. There was some additional seating towards the back where the vide was darker - better for a date. The bar area is intimate. The washrooms are in basement and were very clean.
Lara is the best!!! So sweet and nice and hooked us up with from a freezes
Great. Just great.
Good food
Amazing menu Always delicious
Great cocktails!!
I Was there for a drink and some appetizer mid-afternoon on a Saturday. One server (guy with European accent) was extremely disorganized (I had to put in my drink and food order twice and the drink still came wrong - both after a 20min wait) and was super rude to the other female server. It was very disconcerting overhearing their conversation. The food seems decent here but service has a long way to go - do not recommend.
Wonderful experience! Very polite staff. Food is great and cocktails are spectacular!
Very pleasant experience and delicious food!
Best customer service ever had and the chef was so polite and making sure everyone is satisfied. Thanks for the amazing service and best of luck in your Business.
Amazing food and atmosphere, would go again and recommend to anyone. The Pork Belly was amazing!
After enjoying a stoll down Ossington for our first time, i was picky about finding a restaurant with the right food and vibe. We happened upon Season Six. Absolutely delicious food. Hubby and I both had the big summer salad and it was so fresh and tasty. We also each enjoyed their yummy cocktail . Loved sitting in their outside patio but when the wasps started to bother us, the owner moved us inside which enabled us to enjoy the booth and the indoor vibe. Highly recommend giving it a try. Hubby also said their coffee was good too
Delicious and accommodating! Nice people, healthy portions, good times.
The beef brisket is to die for. Jk. The Uruguayan Air Force Flight 571 survivors wouldnt even eat here :)
Fantastic food, way above the local standards and yet priced about the same. Great, kind, intelligent service too. Thanks for the experience!
For great vibes and delicious food!! Come here
If you ve been there before and loved it, be cautious before you return. Prices increased, quality decreased, and they seemingly changed the concept of the restaurant (no more boxes and ability to make your own bowl). Waiters don t know the menu - asked how certain ingredients are cooked and was brought something completely different. Same with wine - they brought a red instead of sparkling white and kept insisting that this is what we ordered over and over again. Wait times were also too long. Sad because previously it was a beloved place where I brought a number of friends and clients.
Mac was amazing!!! Such a sweetheart; loved the energy he brought and the incredible service!
Sorry guys, but I can t believe I paid that much money for that food. Ordered the chicken, I think the kitchen team forgot about gods gift to man: salt. Also I don t think half the ingredients listed were in the dish. Service was pretty good but seems like more of a bar now.
Great drinks, amazing bartender and a nice vibe!
Delicious pork belly with pineapple rice and chili cucumbers! Spacious outdoor patio.
Insanely good food. Was definitely not expecting. Get the brisket, you will not be disappointed.
Had a great time here last night! The green pea risotto is delicious and served in a generously large proportion for an appetizer. Their bartender, Axel, is a sick guy who could made an excellent version of any cocktail. Ill definitely be back!
the food at this restaurant was mediocre at best. For the price point of these meals, the meals should have been much much better. If I could give this restaurant a 0/5 stars, I wouldve. Although, the taste of the food was the least of my concerns. The service here was HORRIBLE. Not only did they not offer any non-alcoholic beverages, or not know how to prepare basic cocktails like a Manhattan or Sprite with vodka, they were incredibly rude. They had us paying for the meal before even offering us dessert. After requesting a dessert, one of the waiters insisted that we only got one for the whole table (which was not enough) and before we could even finish it (within minutes) a different waitress reached over and took it off of our table. Keep in mind we spent around $600 for this meal. I would urge everyone reading this review to chose a different restaurant because this one is NOT worth it whatsoever.
I was walking by with some friends and thought of trying this place. The weather was beautiful and we sat outside. I was feeling like having any alcohol, the waitress suggested hot cider, I tried it and it was a perfect combination to the chilly weather. Service was fast and friendly!
Excellent. The shrimp with chimichurri is a must try.
Cute place, friendly staff. Very noisy kitchen chatter and ran out of chicken at 5pm.
I booked out Season six a few weeks ago, for an evening with some friends. The venue itself is great and provides a solid space for upwards of 60 people. However, the problem I had was the overall customer service and poor communication from the owner. Lets just say he could use some improvement in the soft skills department. Even so, I gave them a second chance by offering it up as a suggestion to a friend who was looking to book out a venue for their birthday. History went on to repeat itself and the owner made it clear that professionalism and communication is not their strongest skillset. OVERALL, if you want a great venue, but dont mind communicating with someone of pretentious and patronizing nature, this is your place!
Was talking by and decided to check it out as it looked cozy and inviting. The food and cocktails were delicious and the staff very welcoming. I will definitely be back.
Just came here for drinks - Very cute spot for late night cocktails, loved the ambiance and the waitress was super helpful. Apparently they change their food menu six times a year based on local produce available/grown. Will definitely head back here to try out their food. Service
We ate dinner here last night and everything was fantastic!!! My cocktail was really cool and unique, and all the dishes we ordered were delicious. I love that they change up the menu every two months and feature seasonal ingredients. Their prices are also very reasonable for fine dining.
One of my new favourite spots. The most delicious, cozy meal in a dish. I had the pear brie dish to start, braised beef dish for main (SO GOOD) and the creme brûlées for desert. Will definitely be coming back to explore their other seasonal dishes. Also love the interior design and disco ball in the back bar.
