We always come this place for drinking tea or coffee. All servers are lovely! As a Turkish it feels like home!

The server is great, they are very nice and welcoming ( Sahar and Nahal served us very nicely ) however its enormously overpriced. You can have a full meal of kabob in any resturante with their simple omlet breakfast. And also you can get same brunch in other cafe resturante with coffe and tea refills with lower price in same area like Cafe Landwear.

I would highly recommend this place, and Steve (DJ) is also awesome, including the bartenders. The bar is pocket friendly and there are awesome vibes at this place.

We were there for breakfast. Cappuccino was one of the worst ever, it was from a premix machine and not fresh. A waste of $6, I left it after my first sip. The only option they have for toast was a cheap white, no whole wheat, no multigrain. The shakshuka was not at all as in the picture advertised on their menu. Would definitely not go back.

Brunch is not their thing. Came here with high expectations due to the reviews. Got pancakes and some bennies. The pancakes were doughy in flavour and topped with a few pieces of banana and strawberry slices (and some unappealing sprinkles adding random food colour splashes all over the plate). Definitely NOT what I would call pancakes with fruits. As for the eggs benny, they were disappointing too. The two English muffins were 4 bites each. Hollandaise sauce was almost not present (and most likely not home made but maybe I am wrong?). My dish had some pale and oversalty salmon, not of great quality. Bennies were served with fries and some pieces of greens and one slice of tomato with no dressing. Well known brunch places can serve you the same plate and wow you for much less.

They brought the food so late i ordered a salad and eggs and they brought the eggs first and they brought the salad after 20 minutes but the food was good

Ordered on Uber Eats and was highly disappointed, the food looked nothing like the picture on the menu. Its advertised to have grilled tomatoes and peppers with yellow Persian rice and we received one sad small piece of tomato and a tomato paella kind of rice. We also ordered the fresh bread and received one piece of pita bread. $50 wasted, dont waste your money and go to Queen Of Persia nearby instead.

I asked for 2 glasses of water, and she gave us 2 bottles of water and charged us. I was getting food, and drinks but just wanted water. I think the restaurant is desperate for business and they re just pushy and rude. The food was OK, but the portions were small, the price was too high and nothing special. Not going back here.

This place is Absolutely perfect. I went there a few months ago with a friend & we loved it so much. The waitress (I forget her name cause I forget easily) is amazing, kind, helpful, friendly and making recommendations. We went again yesterday with another friend, no regrets. She remembered me! It s homey, friendly, the food was just wow. Delicious, we got the family platter, appetizers, and of course the Turkish coffee with sweets. Nothing tasted bad because we were just chatting and eating and complimenting every bite we took. They didn t rush us at all, as a matter of fact it was closing and she signaled for us to sit back down, don t rush, keep talking. I love love love everything about this place. I highly recommend it. Excellent Mediterranean cuisine with flavour themes from Turkey, Greece, and other Arabian regions. A truly underrated hidden gem that belongs in the best restaurants of the mid-Toronto. The bbq platter is incredible flavours reminded me of some really delicious food I had while travelling in the Mediterranean. The interior is funky with a relaxed atmosphere. Servers were very attentive to details.

The service and food was all okay. I m not rushing back.

Hyped and overpriced!

Dont order the Senso special deluxe sandwich! Its a Ripoff! For $16 you get a grease drenched english muffin, so small it that it only had 1/2 slice of tomato. Ten Potato frits next to it and a small slice of pineapple. Horrible!

The turkish pizza is what drew me to this place. It looked really interesting from the photos, so my partner and I came in here one night to try one. I had seen photos online, and on their window, so I was surprised and disappointed it wasnt on the menu provided. There was also a QR code menu you can look at (and order from) however, and I saw the pide on the menu. So I asked the server if we could order it, and she said we could, so I was happy about that. The one in the picture I showed her had pepperoni and an egg. When it came to the table, however, it didnt have the egg for some reason but we ate in anyway. The pide was okay. I love cheese, but dare I say it was TOO cheesy. It was a much thinner crust than I had expected, so the dough to cheese ratio was off. The pepperoni was sliced super thin too. Unfortunately I hate to say it but the service was quite bad. My partner asked what kind of beers there were on tap. The server didnt know, and pointed to the taps. Maybe she was new, so that was fine. My partner walked over to the taps and had to point to the one he wanted. I ordered a vodka soda, just a regular bar rail. I even saw her born Smirnoff vodka, but I was charged for a premium vodka (Grey Goose). More importantly though, despite being the only ones there on a quite night, the service was somehow incredibly slow. The server was more interested in her phone than serving. In fact, when she brought the menus over, we were ready to order right away because we knew we wanted to try the pide, but she said she was going to go outside so shed come back. The reason she went outside was to talk on her phone.

Friendly service. The kobide platter is delicious and I always add on a side of baba ghanoush! Simply delectable. Fresh meal with healthy ingredients and very tasty.

We had good time here (St. Clair Senso; even didn t know they have other branches!) But here are some notes: They didn t have all the menu available; we went there on Sunday but they didn t have their something Kebab which was weekend only option! The drink menu was the same not all the options were available (maybe we were unlucky that day!) The food was good and delicious no complaints but not the best The indoor temperature was high and it was humid as well since we experienced a nice shower that noon and of course we were sweating, they tried to help us with a tiny fan but it was just a nice try :) We appreciate it tho! PS: I didn t want to note all these here cause they were so nice to us, but since the owner shoot me some words first, I found it necessary to respond.

Ordered a cheeseburger combo (comes with small fries & coke) Cheeseburger was swimming in cheese sauce and I think Tatar sauce, very weird ! I was expecting a slice of real cheese. I thought the white sauce was mayo but it had green stuff in it. I had to scrape off all the sauce to be able to find the beef patty, the burger patty itself tasted nice but it was the size of a McDonalds kid s hamburger but the bun was the size for quarter pounder beef burger . The fries were tasty but I counted about 15 fries in my container. Where are the fries ? For the price and portions it s not worth it at all . Will not be returning after my first visit Regardless if the had a promo with Uber for buy 1 get one free . Both combos weren t even worth the $15 . Still confused about the tartar sauce and cheese sauce on the burger

I had the pleasure of dining at Senso recently and it was an unforgettable experience! The service was impeccable and the food was mouth-wateringly delicious. Id give this restaurant a five star rating without hesitation. Highly recommend if youre looking for a memorable night out!

This is a chill cafe in heart of Richmond hill on the corner of 16th and Yonge st. I was on diet so I didn t get food and just enjoyed their tea and coffee which was great. But I could see people s food, pastry and cakes and they were quite tempting. I liked the interior. Set nicely and pleasing atmosphere with a good music that could be a bit lower on the volume. The servers were all polite and attentive and we were happy with them. I got a cappuccino and my friend a latte and we both enjoyed it. If you re looking for a coffee shop that has its own taste and wanna enjoy a good coffee, tea and pastry in Richmond Hill, I strongly recommend this place. There is also a Persian restaurant beside it called Senso kebabland. You can switch from the cafe to the restaurant if the pastry doesn t properly help with your hunger!

After wanting to go here for a while my friend and I decided to give this place a try. I ordered green shakshoka and it looked nothing like the picture on the menu. I basically got three eggs with some spinach in it. The bread which was served with was also cold and stale. My friend got a lux croissant and it was served to her with wedges. We told the server that its supposed to come with a salad like it says on the menu and she said that we chose wedges but she didnt even ask us in the first place. Also, there was a hair in the croissant. Overall, we were not so pleased with our meals hence why I rated it so low.

Honest review: Honestly, just trying to help ! I went to the bar for the first time for Halloween. I was chilling and I ordered a drink. Sat for a bit, then wanted a drink of water. When I asked the bartender (and the cashier who seemed like the owner) they forced me to buy water. They were rude and I don t think this place deserves any lovin. Take care and thank me later. Food is full of flavor and decent portion sizes. Had kebab platter 2 last time I visited. It was delicious. Enough for 4 meals!

Pictures are deceiving. Portions are so small it s basically like ordering off a kids menu. The chicken wings are a joke.. it s smaller than a chapstick. Even the waffle with Nutella was awful. They give you half a drizzle of Nutella and 4 of the thinnest/tinniest slices of strawberries.. it basically was a plain waffle at that point. Oh and the burger was even more of a joke.. it was pictured as a stacked juicy burger and when it came to me it looked like a car ran over it, it was so flat. Don t go here. Honestly, save your money and go where they won t give you peasant portions.

Didn t like the breakfast. Everything was burned. Service is bad, rude. Too expensive. Do not recommend. Let me write more this owner have too much confidence when he talks with the customers. She thinks that she can argue with the customer just because I have my own critique. Hahahahahha ridiculous don t even bother to go there.

The food you cook under the name of Turkish food has nothing to do with Turkish food or even food. It is called sausage pita. Selling hot dog and pita in gold is not acceptable as a tradesman and the money you get is not much, shame on you, I will say it everywhere.

This restaurant was highly recommend by the St Clair residents group. We decided to order takeout last night for the first time and the food was delicious!! So fresh and tasty!! We had the beef kabobs and chicken mushroom pide. Will definitely be ordering again or going in person next time.

A great place for brunch, lunch, dinner or takeout

I had a lovely dinner here last night! The vegetarian Pide was absolutely delicious! The babaganosh was amazing with the freshest bread! Definitely a do again.

Good Turkish food with friendly service and a relaxed atmosphere. Kebab platter, Alinazik kebab and beef pide were all excellent. Relatively new addition to the neighbourhood and I hope they stick around.

I have been to this restaurant a few times now; it is consistently delicious. The service is absolutely top notch, a good wine selection, and the food is so good! Highly recommend.

Breakfast is okay but extremely overpriced. Eggs Benedict, for example, cost between $18 to $24 and they don t come with home fries. What they call Classic Bennies for example don t come with anything but bread and hollandaise so I scratched that off the list rather quickly. I mean I get COVID and inflation etc. but please I think this is too much to pay for eggs. The hollandaise was good, as were the home fries we ordered on the side (for an extra $4 which made one order of Bennies come to $28!!); however, eggs were over poached and not runny, the salad was skimpy and a bit wilted and the fruit was past it s prime. Place has great potential, but I don t think we ll go back for breakfast.

Our group of 4 had an incredible experience at Senso. From their salads to their kebabs to their delicious deserts (must try the ice creams and their baklava) the the food was authentic, flavorful, and well balanced. 100% will be coming back here often.

Great little spot off St. Clair. Set up for small live music sessions and has a friendly neighborhood hangout feel. Food service and quality was great. Reasonable prices. Sometimes you can get your fortune told after your Turkish coffee. Been there a few times and would go back again.

This is an absolute GEM on St Clair West & Christie. Great drinks selection available. Perfect to grab a beer with the guys, or wine + cocktails, a meal with friends after work, or a relaxing outing to wind down your day. I walked into this place looking for a venue to host my event not knowing what to expect and had an amazing time watching a live band. The staff was very helpful, friendly, polite & accommodating, I told friends about it and they loved the Patio, Pizza, service, atmosphere and wine selection. Definitely my favourite spot in the neighbourhood. Will DEFINITELY stop by on a regular basis for the food, drinks and everything they have to offer.

Overpriced, Koobideh sandwiche. Supposed to have hummus in it which it did not have. No waitress came to the table to ask if everything is alright. Tasty sauce and fries. One sandwich costs $17.98 before tax tip and service. It literally costs only $5 top. Food was good though. No doubt on that. It does not contain hummus only. I recommend reviewing your price. I know that inflation is crazy. Hope all works out.

Came here for brunch, the actual food were WAY DIFFERENT from the ones shown on menu. Except for the long waiting time, the scramble eggs wasn t done appropriately and wasn t even warm. The toasts and croissant taste quite mediocre like those from wholesale shelves not sure how they got a 4.3 google review, but their other food might be so much better?

We went there for second time (this time for Mafia event) and, we had a good experience. Customer service was on time and perfect, food quality was acceptable and price was ok. (Our order : Falafel Salad, Lahmajun, Margarita) This is place is recommended.

The fresh fruit juice are delicious! We tried cantaloupe juice and pineapple shake, both very tasty. The environment is cozy. Staff is nice and friendly. We ll definitely go back.

My family reserved a table for Wednesday evening. The restaurant was closed with no sign or reason for not opening. When we called the restaurant, a woman started yelling at my daughter. We were very disappointed & inconvenienced, especially since we booked after seeing all their promotions.

Delicious food, clearly made with love! We ordered a few different Turkish pizzas and brought them to the park for a picnic. Such a nice break from Italian-style pizza. Even my picky two-year-old loved it. Will be back to try more from the menu.

Had an enjoyable take-out meal from Senso tonight. Ordered a cheese-and- spinach pide and a kobideh kebab platter. Both dishes were very good -- pide was nice and cheesy with a crispy, buttery dough, while the kobideh kebab was well-seasoned and served with a nice vinegary salad and bulgur rice. My only comment for improvement would be the kobideh kebab didnt seem well-grilled -- it was cooked through, but for a supposed grilled dish, it was missing that charred crispiness.

Great place for Middle Eastern food! We ordered the Kyimali pide and beef kebabs. Their beef is so rich in flavour. The pide is very cheesy and the dough is very delicate and delicious. We ll definitely be trying other dishes from this place.

One of our hobbies is eating out. If you, like me, pay attention to many things to choose a restaurant other than having delicious food, this restaurant is for you. Unique features of this restaurant include Delicious and quality food, cleanliness, comfortable chairs, soft music and excellent and lovely lighting, polite and friendly staff and finally a reasonable price compared to the quality. I suggest you try once to become a regular customer like me.

I love the food at Senso. Though the first thing I ever had was their coffee. Sweet and bitter Turkish coffee with homemade baklava is heavenly. Im not usually a fan of lamb but the Kofte is perfectly spiced and portions are just right. They even have a pepperoni pizza to sate the picky eater while the rest of the party can try different eggplant variations or well cooked lamb, beef and chicken dishes. But the thing I love most is how Sana the owner/chef has embraced a live music program. They have a super cool Thursday night open mic and then uber talented musicians during dinner on Friday and sat. Highly recommended!!

They have one of the best restaurant environments in saint clair with pretty reasonable prices. You just have to taste the food yourself to see what i mean when i say that they re one of the best restaurants in town !

Its not just the friendly service, excellent Turkish menu, the cool cocktails, or the Live music, its everything! So happy to see such quality restaurant in our neighbourhood. Today we had the SPECIAL which was a delicious burger and a beer for $11, plus we had live music to enjoy with our meal. Needless to say, but we stayed until closing and had a few more cold beverages. Highly recommend our NEW addition to the St. Clair Avenue West neighbourhood. SENSO!

Food was good. Service was good. A small error was made in my order but they corrected it immediately. I would definitely go there again.

I ordered the feta cheese rolls and the Kiymali Pide. Both were delicious (the pide was amazing!) and reasonably priced. Staff was also very kind and welcoming. Will be coming back!

Excellent food and very friendly service. I would definitely recommend this place. Ive been here for both dinner and brunch. My only complaints are they could use another server during brunch as the 1 working was very overwhelmed and the cutlery could be polished a bit better. Removing the unused wiring and installing the light fixture covers properly would improve the look. Ill definitely be back to try more of their great options!
