Slayer Burger in Toronto

Ordered two burgers, truffle fries and poutine. The food wasn t really good and we also got a sauce with MOLD Luckily, we noticed it and hadn t tried!

Excellent service by the guys working! Highly recommend to any person who likes metal! Great food and excellent spot.

Tried the slit mac with onion rings on the side, its superb. Size of onion rings are big and so crispy. Staffs were friendly, they give you options on what to order that you can enjoy. Over all this place is a must visit and food is a must try. Kid-friendliness: Enough dining space to roam around..

Yoo boys what happened?? This used to be the BEST burger joint east of the river. The slit burger was insane, now you guys changed the menu up and it seems like a different bun, and the burgers arent as good and the seasoning tastes different. Plus the dip that came with the fries is gone? The fries I got tasted old and stale. I dunno what happened but this sucks man. So disappointed Edit: Replying to that response. Sorry man but the slit burger is no longer listed anywhere on the menu on the website or for online ordering. Im not talking about the Slit MAC, just the regular slit burger. Seems to be gone and the websites dont give an option for making your own. Not to mention the slit mac is crazy expensive and doesnt come with fries. Its like over 30 dollars for 1 burger and fries after tax? If two people are going out I might as well go to the keg or a full sit down restaurant. There is an option to ask for the sauce online, however you used to get it automatically and there was no warning of this change. But regardless, the quality just wasnt there the last couple times weve been in, and thats in addition to the menu change/confusion. Ill be back in to give it another shot. Ive eaten here countless times and told tons of people about this restaurant, trust me I wouldnt leave a negative review if I didnt feel like something was off.

Slayer Burger on Queen Street East is one of the best burger spots in Toronto! The burgers are always fresh, juicy, and full of flavor, and the fries and milkshakes are the perfect add-ons. The atmosphere is casual and inviting, and the staff are super friendly. Definitely worth a visit if you re in the area! Mac and Kevin are great

I was excited to see the wagyu burger on the menu, it was delicious, I loved the aroma of the truffle. Had it with a poutine, it was the best poutine I ve had in Toronto and comparable to the poutine from my hometown in Quebec.

Great burger spot. Good choice of burgers on the menu. The fries are great and the onion rings are some of the best Ive ever had. Bonus points for the slayer sauce. Buy an extra tub for dipping!

I was looking for a good burger in Toronto but couldnt find any as good as the ones in Brazil. Then I ordered Slayer Burger online and realized it was exactly what I was looking for. When I found out the chef is Brazilian, it all made sense lol everything is so good!

And to the guy whining about the severely undercooked raw burger just shut it ya whiner and enjoy a place in Canada you may be able to actually get a properly cooked burger instead of the hockey pucks youre used to eating.

The best out of any fad smash burger joint Ive tried in Toronto. Not only do they wonderfully stand out among fads (hellooo, SLAYER??) But the burger patties are smashed to the perfect degree of caramelized, the buns are best-in-class, the onion rings are perfectly crisp, and sliced at just the right thickness. RUDY, HAPPY, BURGERS PRIEST, and especially BURGERDROPS just aint metal enough to smash like this.

This place is overpriced and overrated. It milks the Jeff Hahneman aspect to mask this. Service isnt great either. Cheap beers at counter is best thing about it

Over priced and underwhelming. We bought a double smash burger combo and slayer chicken burger for pick-up, total cost was $51.26, without tip. I know prices are up, but I can get a small crispy chicken combo and junior bacon cheese from Wendys for $15 bucks and be just as satisfied. When Im spending $50 on burgers I expect a mind blowing experience. Fries were generic frozen crinkles and the burgers were ok, nothing special. They definitely werent slaying it.

The burger and fries here are great and fantastic thats why I always order here every time I have a flight in toronto.. Food tastes great here! Burgers are super flavourful and not dry at all. The food is delivered to your table by one of those fun robots! Only about 4-5 tables there but just enough for this corner spot! It was steadily busy for take out and dine in. Definitely a great neighbourhood spot and cant wait to come back to try the milkshakes and the secret menu!

Just got the idea when I was driving back from Burlington to Newcastle. As always it was a totally satisfying meal and eat in experience. Great metal music also ! Ya I ll definitely come back .

It was ok. Riverside Burger taste and price is better. This place charges extra to make it a lettuce burger instead of with a bun... I think it was $2 extra. Paying extra to get lettuce instead feels like a rip off. The overall price was a little more than other burger places.

Great burger, tons of flavor and a very soft bun - but a bit pricey. $13 for a single patty smash burger.

I am addicted to the salad, I love burgers, dont get me wrong. The arugula and cabbage are always fresh, its got great crunch, chewy goodness with the pistachios (excellent flavor, I would honestly guess Iranian pistachios), chickpeas and dried cranberries that are excellent, not too sweet and not waxy. The beets are fresh and not mushy, perfect texture. And then top it off with a huge chunky of feta, rolled in black seasame. The dressing is lemony, light and not too sweet, the maple just tampers the acid. I find it odd that I cant pass up the salad at the burger joint.

This was the best vegetarian burger I have ever had! I recently became vegetarian and it s been difficult not to crave a burger or smell of a juicy burger. Their vegetarian burger was sooo good that I had to get another one. Definitely recommend

Dropped by for the single slit burger which was freshly cooked for us. The patty has good quality beef and a nice potato bun. Wouldve personally liked to see a more lacey crispy smash and some pickles in their default construction of the burger to cut the fattiness. They have a cool rockstar theme to the restaurant. Clean space and good music. Staff is efficient and arent particularly friendly. Ventilation could be a bit better.

The place is nice and the service is good but the food I tried was not very good and they had a spicy sauce but without flavor and worst of all, it was cold, I always recommend that in a restaurant the sauces and dressings for a hot meal They shouldnt be cold, that cools all the food.

They waited long for deleivery driver i waited there already for 10 minutes and after that they look for my order and then started preparing even they were four workers that time..one of girl was just watching here and there..not even tried to make the food which im taking ..very rediculous

I searched for a place that served salads as well as homemade type burgers and tried Slayer yesterday. I was very impressed with the design of the open kitchen. The staff seemed really happy and were very helpful. The music and decor made me feel like a teenager. The menu selection was interesting with offerings like brisket ( which was excellent). I was very happy with the food and the attentive service, but I was most surprised by the outstanding Caesar salad. So fresh, so generous, with a delicious world class caper rich dressing and melted parmesan wafers that brought this dish into a category of its own. Wow between the soft and tasty bun laid a smashed beef patty with lettuce tomatoes cheese slayer sauce and pickles. And possibly other sauces but it was awhile ago I went. What I remember clearly is the friendly staff that made me feel like Ive known them forever lol. I loved it

Was really looking forward to trying this place. Got a veggie burger, poutine and milkshake. Veggie burger tasted and looked pretty burnt, the poutine had the smallest drizzle of gravy, I had to make my own gravy when I got home with it. Milk shake was okay, not the best but it was probably the best out of the whole meal. For the price I definitely wouldn t order again, I d rather A&W over this place tbh.

Slayer Burger! I got the Slayer Burger itself. Honestly, nothing too special. Patty wasnt too juicy, bun is higher quality ish than normal. Onion rings were good, but dark (perhaps the oil). Their super hot sauce is excellent. For the overall price point, I wouldnt be rushing back for a while necessarily. Also additional topping such as lettuce tomato etc are 75 cent each.

Im changing my review from 5 months ago (which was 5 stars). Man has this place gone downhill. We order once a week for the past year. Between the uncooked burgers, missing items, and chicken that has increased to $28 for a burger and fries (is that a joke)..theyve now also made the milkshakes wayyyy smaller. We will stop giving then our business now that they are completely ripping people off. Would not recommend.

Good burger. Fries are from frozen. Watched them pull out the bag of them. Chipotle mayo is good. Ambiance isnt my favorite. But thats ok. It lines up with the rock and roll theme they have, but its not somewhere Id like to dine in at. The outdoor patio in the summer however, would be.

Not sure what the issue is. I have ordered a hamburger. Stating I do not want cheese. Makes me have a bad time with my girlfriend when they add cheese when I ask for no cheese. Burger places would save money if they were not waste money putting cheese burgers, hamburgers do not have cheese. Cheeseburgers due.

I like this burger place. The burger tasted great, even with the cheese, bacon and caramelized onions the bun didnt fall apart. The hard rock/metal music playing in the shop might not appeal to everyone though.

The lady working at the store is very rude she is not wearing hair net or gloves and I saw she was asking an Uber delivery guy for thermal bag isn t she suppose to follow her rules first?

I will start by saying that the quality of food at Slayer is very good. No question about that. I m just flabbergasted that the fries in the attached photo is $8.50. Almost $9 for that?!

This is my second time at slayer burger. And I got first degree burger as usual. However, there is no foie gras at all in my burger. I searched every layer of my burger and I am sure they missed the foie gras because it was not like that in my previous visit. I don t think this is how you suppose to treat your customer, and I think without this ingredient this burger doesn t deserve a 45 dollars at all. So disappointed, you should check the burger in front of the cashier to make sure they put the ingredients right???!!!I cannot believe this will happen and I have trusted this place, I don t think they worth my visit and trust anymore.

Absolute favourite spot to grab a burger or a take holy burger kit. The take home kit turns out just as good as the real thing.

The (double) slit burger is quite possibly the best smash burger in Toronto. Cheesy, meaty, nice soft potato bun, sauce is awesome.

I just came back to my office with the most expensive lunch from a fast food place ever... Ordered a beef brisket, and asked if they added bbq sauce or anything else on it..the answer was no... WOW.. so much bbq sauce that it is actually a wet sloppy mess... so there is $14.99 plus tax down the drain.. actually inedible with all that sauce.

I got the ``Slayer Special`` with DoorDash. Paid $19.00 for the worst burger I have ever eat. Sorry but I have to write that. There were barely 10 grams of meat, thickness of a paper, overcooked and dry. Felt like I was chewing a cardboard. No cheddar, paper thin dry meat. By paper thin, I am not exaggerating it was so thin I laughed so hard. I am not happy with the ``Slayer Special``, not recommend it.

One of the best burgers Ive tried, had the slayer burger twice now, no disappointments, tried it at the metro convention center during Toronto food drink fest, then went to the actual restaurant, really good service, would highly recommend if your in the mood for a good burger.

Ordered through Uber Eats. Our burgers were very tasty and the fries too. I gave 4 stars because they forgot the extra fries in my order. Uber refunded me the fries, but man, I really wanted those fries ..Sorry no photos, I ate my food too fast ..I d definitely eat their food again and hope they don t forget part of my order next time .:-)

Expected the chicken burger to be a whole lot bigger than the website pictures shown. Overall, the burger with the signature sauce and Passion fruit milkshake is really good.

Its Fine. Not bad by any means, but... Pretty expensive for what you get. The burgers are extremely smash burger style, so if you only get one patty, its super thin and crispy. Which can be good, but in this case it just felt like the buns and toppings overpowered it and it just felt like you were eating a BLT and now and then you noticed the burger. Onion rings and milkshakes were the absolute highlight. If I came here and only got sides and a milkshake, it would be a 5 star experience.

Burgers: good. Fries: okay. $13 Salad: Slayer Burger should be embarrassed. The entire salad, container included weighed in at 235g. Edit to answer the owner: this is what the salad looked like when I opened it. There was some feta and 3 slices of tomato. This was not what I expected for a $13 salad - definitely a sad side salad instead of a meal.

Expensive, however...charcoal bun is a great inclusive menu option. But overall, burgers are juicy as expected, ingredients fresh and not processed, menu is not saturated and simple. You might leave with a lighter bank account though, again price wise is a bit steep but quality is very competitive.

I visited this place a few times already since I love it so much! Their foods are consistent and suits my taste well. The staff is so friendly as well and knows what to recommend to its customers. My favorite is their Slit Burger with truffle mushroom and caramelized onion. It is so good! Would definitely recommend this to my friends!

Food is always solid but they obviously didnt want to work late so they kicked us out at 1045 when they closed at 12 which forced us to walk with our food. Not cool staff.

This was a horrible experience, i was hoping to get a great burger, the price point is on the higher side for their combos. The meal cost me $61 for three combos, first, the bread was stale, it crumbled in my hands, the meat was burnt, unless you like tasting chard meat, fries were over cook, the onions were not pealed properly, its was a bad experience for me.

For 20$ i think there are better options. The food tasted like generic Costco frozen burgers. Same with the onion rings, it tasted like cafeteria food. I think their flagship Slayer burger needs more than bacon. It honestly lacks character and depth. On a lighter note, the dip that came with the onion rings were great.

4/5 Stars Really good burgers, most of the burgers are double patties because the patty itself is thin. Amazing fries (curly) and the sauce they have that comes with the combo is very delicious. 100% will go back again. Also, the food wait time is very fast and you won t be let down with how fast your order comes in. Only downside is the price, but as expected, every burger gourmet you see in Toronto will be as a pricey as it looks. Good place!

Worst front staff, too much attitude and wait time exceeded by 20 minutes still bad responds when asked how much long i have to wait, be careful dealing with this kinda front house people

Great burgers and fries!

They cook their vegan burgers on the same grill as the regular burgers and the front counter dude confirmed it. My friends regular burger was not good, the smash burger barely was a burger. Also the front counter dude prioritized uber eats orders than customers in house.

Sadly the slit burger did not Slay The burger was small, and the meat barely covered the bun. The fries were cold and flavorless. For 20$ a meal Id rather have a Mcdonalds burger.

I literally did not shop here I went there looking for the old Chinese food restaurant that used to be here actually drove past it once or twice because it was a long time since Ive been to the restaurant was sad to find out that they no longer exist at least thats what I was told but maybe next time I will try this business! I was literally looking for a nice soup place that night!

Slayerrrrrr This place is unique and food is good. Unfortunately they didn t have the lager :(

Fantastic burgers, however the standard fries alone arent that great. Honestly tasted like frozen store bought fries. Get the poutine instead. Also wished the portions were a bit larger, but overall really good food. I would recommend giving a try.

Great Burgers and Great Poutine

Tried a couple weeks ago and was impressed! A new local favourite! The service was great (ensured our order was fresh despite some confusion with online pick up order) and burger and fries were delicious.

First time here on the weekend. Staff very friendly and service was great. Burgers themselves were good quality and tasty. Some burger joints out too much salt on their meat, these burgers are great just the right amount. Would recommend the Slayer burger it was great

Incredible burger, the slayer sauce is fantastic and the fries were great. I got the Slit combo, it was the perfect amount, I hate feeling too full when I eat and this was the perfect serving size. I will have to try the slayer burger one day though

Excellent burgers, great service, reasonable prices and they have Slayers greatest hits blasting on the sound system when you walk in?!?! Folks, this place is a no brainer. See photo for confirmation.
