Enjoyed dinner with some good selections.

Suffering from indigestion after having their Stock Steak Frites for lunch. Fires were super greasy, they have probably re-fried them. my Americano was served in an 2oz Espresso cup. The black truffle on the pasta has no flavor at all. desserts, not worth trying. The interior was nice though.

Came as group 18 people Bad reception Ask for few different drink get No as an answer. Fiid was supper expensive,ask3d for so.e shrimp appetizer satuee theyvsaid No even though they have shrimps. Very rude arrogant manager jeep argue with us about their chef is so passionate about the lousy menu and emotional if any customer asked for any different changes with the order You must eat what ever the chef likes who cared what customer like!! Then asked to take out some orders out to go, manger said you cant take out food. Never again Then they asked us to pay for 3 people that didnt show up.! Waooooo Worst ever restaurant I been to. I ordered steak with butter chef said he must use oil with red wine because it is italian dish. Then steak came totally tasted like beef liver . Very bad taste. The keg is 100 times better. My family and I have been loyal patrons of Stock Bar for years, as it has always been a special place for us to enjoy quality time and great food. Unfortunately, our most recent visit left us quite disappointed. We had a reservation for brunch and, upon being seated, were immediately told we had a two-hour time limit due to another booking at 1 PM. While I appreciate the heads-up, the delivery felt unnecessarily aggressive and unwelcoming especially at the start of our experience. The food itself was okay but not as memorable as it once was. Portion sizes have noticeably shrunk over the years, which was also disappointing. Additionally, we were seated in a corner away from the bar area, which we ve always loved for its ambiance. I asked the host if we could be moved to a free booth I noticed, but before she could respond, another staff member curtly said it was reserved for the owners mother. I completely understand the need to prioritize certain reservations, but the tone and lack of alternative solutions made the interaction feel dismissive, not reflective of the warm, accommodating service Stock Bar used to provide. The overall atmosphere of the visit felt rushed and transactional, as though the priority was turning over tables rather than providing a relaxed and enjoyable dining experience. This was especially evident when our waiter stood behind me, waiting for me to finish my plate creating unnecessary pressure to leave before we were ready. Stock Bar has always been a place where my family felt welcomed and valued, but this visit lacked the charm and hospitality that made us fall in love with it. Regrettably, I ve decided to cancel our upcoming New Year s Day brunch reservation, as the sentiment we once cherished has been lost. I truly hope Stock Bar can address these concerns and return to the level of service and quality that has made it so special over the years.

We had high hopes for this place but was left extremely disappointed. The food was far from acceptable. The pizza was lackluster, and the appetizers were even worse. Our group of five ordered three appetizers, two drinks, four mains, and three desserts, and the bill came to over $300. While were willing to spend that amount when the food is worth it, this was not the case here. Despite the attractive presentation, the dishes lacked flavor and taste. This was definitely not the dining experience we were hoping for.

I m writing this review at 7 am, 7 hrs after we left the restaurant. I am still throwing up and excuse my language, but I need to be honest about the kale salad which caused food poisoning and the reason is that the kale wasn t properly washed. Herb s and vegetables bacteria can cause food poisoning and long lasting nausea, and sometimes fatal. I will take a necessary action against this irresponsibility and negligence of customer s health.

Food is good. Nothing special but done well. The only disappointment was the bone marrow, which had very little marrow and was overpowered intensely by the mustard seed. Our waiter was just okay but the other service staff were on point! Ie clearing plates, boxing up leftover, brining extras etc. Stunningly beautiful restaurant, good atmosphere and good vibes. A nice mix of people. Would come back!

We had the octopus and bolognese. Both dishes were flavourful and the portions were very good. The service was attentive though slow at times. The atmosphere was very lively and busy. The seats were comfortable and the decor is very nice.

My friend and I met up for dinner here last weekend. It was my first time and her second. She ordered the steak to which was not cooked properly and contained a thick strip of fat. When she asked to server to send it back and order something else he told her it was the cut of steak and theres supposed to be that much fat on it and because she ordered it medium well, thats how tough its supposed to be. I have worked at a steakhouse and all I heard were excuses from the server. It gets better. She orders the half chicken. It took forever to get to the table and when it did, it was cold and the inside of the dark meat was undercooked. When the server came to the table after a server assistant cleared the plate away, my friend told him about the temperature of the meat and it being undercooked. He went on to tell her that its supposed to be that way because the aus jus is hot enough to cook the meat. We must have had stupid written on our foreheads to receive such an ignorant and arrogant explanation as such. When we asked for the bill, he told us that our tiramisu dessert was on the house because of the inconvenience. The steak was taken off the bill but she was charged for the undercooked chicken which could have made her sick. At no point in the evening did a manager come over to offer an apology for not one but two bad entrées. It looks like based on other reviews, this establishment cant cook a steak properly.

The Sunday brunch is the worst brunch I have ever had. The pancake is not fresh at all and crispy chicken is not crispy, tastes like what I bought from Loblaw .

At the first floor, Stock Bar offers a top-notch deli with delicious meal options and an irresistible display of sweets. On the second floor, youll find a sophisticated and comfortable restaurant, with a varied menu and an excellent wine list, where the staff greets you with great courtesy. A perfect spot for a comfortable dining experience that fits seamlessly into our routine.

The food was good, but the prices were a little higher than the quantity of food offered. The staff was very friendly, and it was a great location to spend time.

There were 4 of us dining and we will never return! Staff mentioned that it was a quiet evening for the restaurant. The wait staff were very unfriendly and constantly rushing us. We waited a very long time initially for service! We first asked if the cheese board priced at $21 was large enough as an appetizer for 4 people, which the waiter confirmed absolutely! Three tiny pieces of cheese arrived as we laughed in disbelief! The main course portions were very small which would be alright if not so OVERPRICED! The entrees were very basic, nothing special. With all the great restaurants in Toronto, this one was a huge disappointment!

I recently visited Stock bar to celebrate a birthday, but the experience was disappointing. We brought our own birthday cake, but we were informed that we couldnt use it and were required to purchase a cake from the restaurant instead. This policy wasnt made clear when we booked the reservation, and it really put a damper on the celebration. We had our cake with us and felt this rule was unnecessarily restrictive, especially since we werent informed beforehand. It would have been appreciated if the staff had shown some flexibility or at least communicated this policy ahead of time so we could have made alternative arrangements. I hope you consider being more transparent with their policies or handling such situations with more understanding in the future.

Steak was too chewy! Drinks are alright. We brought a birthday cake for a birthday party and they told us they won t serve it no matter what!

Service and atmosphere fantastic I ordered lobster and shrimp roll and pasta carbonara. The lobster and shrimp was delicious. Pasta not so much, very dry and the pancetta had a very odd taste. I was disappointed with the pasta, but I will definitely go again

The food is so delicious. I would recommend the cheese board and the mushroom pizza . As well as, the dessert is something you would love to try.

Celebration of an important day..Birthday of the soul of my life..the climate was perfect for rooftop. The pizza and raviolli was amazing..tge perfect Italian food...we can understand the difference between authentic Italian pizza and the others. Drinks were additional stars on tge rooftop. Thanks Robin...our host who was patiently answering all our dietary restrictions to get the best food.

Its a nice place to hangout with friends and family. Staff were friendly and menu was good.

The rooftop patio at Stock bar is our summer fav! Love coming here every year. We celebrated a family birthday a couple of days ago! Absolutely great service, both the Peppe and Salsiccia E shisito were every bit delicious!The Halibut served with spinach was seared to perfection ..the Prosecco paired well with the fish! Great vibes and ambiance. We love dining at Stock T.C

So disappointed. We visited with a group of 7, having made a reservation in advance. While the food was decent, the service left a sour taste in our mouths. Our waitress seemed overly eager to rush us through our meal, presenting the dessert menu immediately after our main courses without saying a thing. When we didnt order dessert right away, she swiftly removed the menus and presented the bill, again without checking if we were really finished. When questioned about the rush, she cited an upcoming reservation, claiming we had a two-hour time limit. However, we had only been there for 90 minutes and still had plenty of time left. We felt disrespected and hurried, like we were being forced out. The waitress apologized, saying they are just trying to accommodate the next party and proceeded to collect our payments. Her manager soon after appeared, apologizing and saying we were welcome to stay as long as we liked. By then, the atmosphere had been ruined, and since our bills were already settled, we didnt exactly feel like continuing to order more of their $20 cocktails. This is a restaurant that quite blatantly disregards customer satisfaction. Dont celebrate a birthday here, you will feel far from special.

Gorgeous restaurant with really good food and drinks. If youre looking for a bit more of an upscale experience, this is the place for you. The prices are also extremely reasonable for what you get. Would recommend.

A staple neighborhood Italian restaurant never disappoints with delicious food and very good wines and cocktails in a spacious room and breezy outdoor patio. I especially liked the Oaxaca cocktail and the mushrooms.

I rarely leave a review about restaurant however this spot deserves a review for having the most overrated food price and drinks. Price point wasn t bad or at least in-line with current market price for well designed restaurant however quality of food and execution was very poor. Tuna tarter, well portioned however very fishy, which means not fresh and not dressed well, I had to request a side of peperoncini to mask the fishyness and lack of flavour, their so called household burger royale from freshly ground meat from their partner Cumbrae was very fresh and top quality meat and perfectly grilled at my request of medium however construction of burger was poorly executed for $25 burger that came with no side, burger should never be too wet and fall apart half way through the bites. I know its ran by owners of Terroni which I ve always loved as Toronto s go to Italian, maybe i should have got pasta or pizza which never fails but I happened to return less than 24hrs ago from 2 weeks of southern Italy and needed a break from traditional Italian fair. By the way, I did manage to provide my input on freshness of tuna tartar to the server and he ended up not charging on the bill. Which was consolation to experience that our table was having. I just wish that when restaurants price point their menu at certain level, I expect matching level of cuisine, very unfortunate to experience poor quality execution when I expected high quality from my previous experience at Terroni

We went to an event here. noisy. so noisy. Hard talking over a lame DJ .it wasn t your playlist. Dude if you are pumping tunes through an in house system do your interface right. your sound was thin and distorted, so distorted. But stock is about the food right. Was the Australian meat pie really suppose to come off like a soup? Yes it was that wet and salty. Impossible to cut into the pastry with a fork, as no knife was supplied. The filling soaked the puff pastry, which i m sure tasted wonderful before being drowned . The Pasta bar with the parmesan wheel. That will make up for it! The flash of the presentation: swirling freshly cooked pasta around the interior of wheel. Such Showmanship. Nope. The taste of the parmesan was a mere after thought after the pasta was over dressed with olive oil(?) and burying the pasta with romano before the minimized parmesan swirl. Topped off by being handed cutlery by the working end, not the handle. Overly complicated conditions on what our remaining ticket could buy for desert. Although desert, the eclairs. oh wow great! the macaroon was overly sweet and heavily flavoured. no light touch here. Like the pasta, overly seasoned. now all this mediocrity would be acceptable, except the price and the implications that this was sampling event. i assumed wrongly that i would sample from each station for my prix fix . Not the case . to have done so would have doubled the advertised price, as after my three supplied tickets there were three more stations to sample in order to fill up my passport to enter the draw. So over priced , poor service, horrible atmosphere. mediocre food. and please tell the staff not to reply Amazing to every question answered, this place simply is not Amazing

Good meat, unfortunately very noisy, conversations are loud.

The rooftop patio is really quite lovely. It is spacious and most of it is covered. The menu is quite big and everything we ordered was good. Nothing was truly spectacular but everyone was happy. I will say their burger is quite good! Service was just fine. We had to wait for our server a lot and he didn t check in much.

4.2/5 A nice venue for a dinner out. We visited on a Friday evening. The outside patio was fully booked so we were seated on the second level. It s quite a busy place with many booths and tables. The decor is beautiful and the servers were attentive and pleasant. We started with the Calamari Fritti, which was hot and crisp. Simple but good. For mains we tried the Albacore Tuna Alla Plancia and Cavatelli Ai Frutti Di Mare. The tuna was an okay dish. The sides of escarole and cauliflower, as well as the red pepper purée sauce did not compliment the tune well. We wouldn t order this again The Cavatelli was good. The seafood was fresh and the white wine sauce was flavourful. For dessert, we tried the Stock Rocher. The rich and creamy chocolate combined with the hazelnut gelato was scrumptious. The portion is quite large so I would recommend sharing this one. Overall, it was a good experience. Given the great Italian food options available in this city, I m not sure that this one particularly stood out, but a nice dinner or brunch spot if you re in the area!

The place is nice the patio is good. But the table service is the worst, they don t let you choose your table and force you to seat where they want. Everything was good but the service ruin the experience.

Absolutely awful. Made a reservation for 4 people August 4th 9pm for my birthday for drinks and appetizers. I got a text from stock saying my table was ready at 8:50, we notified we were in the way. I got there a few minutes before 9 and checked in, one of the hosts informed me that my table would be ready in about 5 minutes, I asked him to double check because I got the text saying it was ready at 8:50. He said that that must have been a miscommunication on their part. By 9:20 they began informing me that they were waiting on another table to settle up. At 9:30 I asked the host if they could check on my table, they then told me that they have already sat Courtney Martin at her table of 6, I told her no I m Courtney Martin and it is a table for 4. After that we were finally able to sit down. We received multiple apologizes and a glass of Prosecco on the house. Which was appreciated however don t even get me started on the food. We ordered the cheese board and tuna tartar. The cheese board was 3 portions of about a tablespoon sized portions of cheese with two thin as paper cracker sheets and a swirl of fig jam. Not much of a cheese board for $21. Tuna tartar was better but oily, mid at best. We left as soon as possible and went to Cibo a block away instead.

Server expected a large tip from MID service (took forever, ignored us, didn t ask about food) better service could be found at a Tim Hortons up in barrie. Came to STOCK s rooftop patio for dinner, and overall the food and service were good. We ordered the burrata, tagliatelle alla bolognese, and a pizza. It was mostly average for the price point, and we wished the pizza had more toppings.

Pasta, bread, desserts and more all prepared strictly by hand. Excellent cuisine and friendly staff. Here you can eat but also buy made in Italy products. Highly recommended!

Came in a on a Thursday night. Jessica was our server and while she was a super friendly server, the kitchen took an hour to get our food out. The wait took so long we basically lost our appetites. Ordered at 9, food came out at 10. If the food came out in a timely manner the experience would have been better

One of the best experiences out this year. Spectacular space in the old post office. A1 food (we had 2 x pasta dishes and the lobster roll ( the best ). Attentive service all while playing yacht rock (google it) music in the background at the right level - the atmosphere was perfect. We went for a date lunch - will be back for that food and try the bar. Owned by the people behind Terronis apparently so thus ... brilliant. Go - nowhere better in the Yonge / Egliinton area (and a nice get-away from the construction that plagues the intersection to the south!)

TLDR; Service was trash, food was not worth it/not great, atmosphere was okay (minus the natts). If you are not YT - just avoid. Honestly, had high hopes that at the beginning of my visit with friendly hostesses and bartenders, but ultimately our server is the main reason I won t be returning. Service: We were mostly ignored from the time we were seated. Seated at 8:20, order was put in around 8:40pm, app (only one) came at 8:50pm and mains didn t get to the table until 9:40pm. At 9:37pm, when we asked the server how long it would take (and we only asked once) - they argued that I waiting until you were done your apps and I thought it was apps first then mains. There was barely anything left on the plate and the tone/energy was not appreciated. After we got the response we did - my friend and I felt so uncomfortable just being there. It did not feel welcoming and we had lost our appetite. Food review: Steak was barely warm and over seared on the top (left it behind). Not worth $68 (imo). Pasta was room temp but taste/value was okay. Ultimately, we were forgotten and so was our food. My final thought: The server only made a quick and insincere apology when it came to time to pay the bill. Its easy to dismiss this as a bad day but the amount of check ins the same server was doing for the other patrons were much more than it was for us. Making me conclude that my money was not wanted for other reasons. You decide.

we went there for my friends birthday, the atmosphere was so nice, but two of the waitresses was kinda rude and we felt like we were bothering them when we asked for any kind of service. We got steak frites, i could eat a better steak at home to be honest. The tenderness, texture and the taste was so average, even poor, some of us including me, didnt take more than 3 bites. Desserts and cocktails were good, its a nice place but the attitude of some the waitresses and their quality of food should be improved. Id still go there for a nice time, desserts and nice cocktails.

What a terrible way to spend 400 for two people on a calm and small dinner, midweek. while it was blazing snow everywhere outside in a snowstorm stock bar decides to lock all the doors by accident and then give an oops. I m sorry apology as they let you in to which then they tell you that if you have a reservation you should go to the third floor, my team, and I head to the third floor only to then wait for 20 more minutes prior to then taking the initiative of being what we thought was demanding, however, had this not occurred we wouldn t have not been told that the third floor was gonna be closed in about 10 minutes and that we should be served on the second floor. However, we had reservations for the third floor at that time so we were shocked. my team, then went to the second floor, where we continued to wait until we walked all the way up to the kitchen to ask for reservation services to which then we were helped. However, the whole process of being sat down took almost an hour and 40 minutes. so just imagine yourself going to restaurant having the exact reservation, making sure that the reservation is even confirmed by telephone and then getting there with your entire team, your family, or your guests, and having this type of runaround meanwhile this restaurant/bar charges, nothing less than premium service, go somewhere where they will actually treat you decent. ESPECIALLY since they will continue to charge you prices for dishes. The response from the team is also extremely inappropriate, we did not go through the market, we went to the restaurant. Instead of blaming paying customers, I suggest learning how to train your staff for proper customer service practices.

We had an amazing dinner at stock the food quality was great and reasonably priced not so expensive as every item we ordered was fresh tasty worth every penny. The wine list is very extensive and reasonably priced compared to other restaurants and their cocktails are delicious and generous in pour . The service is impeccable the hostess and the whole team. Hats off to stock for their quality service and attention to the customers which is almost a treasure to find. Thank you all

Good Italian fare, great views from the rooftop, nice decor, and importantly, they don t do tipflation - which in my opinion they deserve support.

Skip Stock TC and head to Eataly or Oretta for a more authentic and delicious dining experience. Better quality, flavor, and atmosphere await!

Food was great, service was amazing and the atmosphere was good.

Was going to visit another place for dinner but they decided to close early. Stock was across the street so we thought we d try it out. Did not realize their closing time so apologies to the kitchen staff. Had we known we d never go to a place so close to closing. They sat us right away and we had the lovely Eliza taking care of us. Eliza s recommended an appetizer and desert and she was on point with both. Food was good, my wife really liked her Stock salad, my Frutti de Mare pasta was OK, I was hoping for a more tomato flavour but my fault for not reading the menu more carefully. The Canaletti was a little toothsome for me, probably needed another minute for cook time. Desert was excellent. Service however was the highlight. Eliza was fabulous. Will always ask for her when making reservations for future visits. Grazie!

Server didn t explain the price difference in water and brought us three bottles of the most expensive option. Also not being able to make alterations isn t a hit, this isn t great thing

Excellent, dont remember eating better Italian food anywhere (visited Italy 15 times over the years).

The service was grudging and the pizza and carbonara were well composed but a bit too salty. The zucchini flowers, funghi salad and seared steak tartar were exceptional.

Exceptional quality & service.

Food was decent, and our server was good contrary to some of the other reviews left here. I felt that the tables were too close together, which normally I don t mind but there was another couple beside our table that must have been food critics of some sort because they had another server attend (could have been the sommelier) to them throughout the evening. This person would wedge themself between our tables with her backside right next to our food, and when she would come by with wine my partner would have to constantly lean away to avoid getting hit with the tray. Our server was great but either the tables need more space in between or whoever the server was tending to the other table needs to be properly trained as she did not excuse herself once throughout the evening. I found it to be incredibly rude and invasive. Please sit your critics somewhere else if you are going to be tending to them so frequently in this manner.

I ate on Saturday, I ordered the stock steak, medium, it was chewy like a chewing gum, most of it finished it way in the napkin.

We always come here and it never disappoints. Food is always great. Jessica is an amazing waitress. Highly recommend. Will come back for sure.

Food was great. Came here for a business lunch. Service was very slow and this was on a Tuesday at noon, very few tables were busy so no excuse for our server to take so long to take our order. Also forgot to put through items we ordered. Overall disappointing service but fantastic food. I think these issues are easily resolved and perhaps our server was having an off day. Might come back for a second try and update this review if improvement in service is noticed.

Super cute spot! They have a picturesque patio as well! Highly recommend for drinks and appetizers. They have a really good menu if you are into wine as well!

Amazing atmosphere food and drinks are a bit on pricy side

Upon arrival, we were served sparkling water to which I declined and said I do not want sparkling water however, flat is suitable. We had no clue that we were being charged for this and a glass was already poured for me. The atmosphere was beautiful, we dined inside the restaurant rather than on the patio as it was quite chilly! The calamari was extremely delicious! The service was pretty good from the beginning and continued up until dessert. Once dessert was consumed, we waited for the server to check in on us for a whole hour. Absolutely no exaggeration. I was so tired I was yawning. Finally, the bill came and we were able to leave .

Gelato and oaxaca cocktail (not for the faint of heart)

The place looks nice but the booking system is a mess and we got pushed from 6:45 till 9. That aside, the food was on another level of disappointment. We ordered about 6 steaks all chewy (insanely chewy) and the rest of the food was okay but wouldn t have it ever again ! The staff are nice, except for the lady on the phone who was horrible but our server and the gentleman who greeted us were both very kind and helpful although they took the heat for the system messing the booking and the food being so bad. It was such a massive disappointment that we waited to celebrate a big event there and ended up disappointed, waiting, and then have a chewy steak, lukewarm calamari and octopus, and an average carbonara. Such a terrible disappointment living so close to it yet not enjoying the food at all. Not doing it again.

Stock is amazing restaurant with amazing food but the best part is Angie. She goes above and beyond for her tables and I was super impressed by her service. Make sure to ask for her when you go.

I ordered 4 recipes including plain coffee . I must say coffee was the best.

This was my first visit. Food taste was good, portions were decent, and service was fast. However, there were zero accommodating changes allowed to any orders. Nothing. The dishes are served as is, and thats that.

I had no issues with the team servicing us. My issue is with management and people who pick up the phone and lack customer service experience. I made a booking on the rooftop for 8 people for my birthday dinner (the big 30) a week ahead of time. One day before I edited the reservation to include one more person, totaling to 9 people. Received a confirmation. On my birthday, I thought, let me call and confirm it s still outdoors. To my surprise the lady on the phone says no it s indoors . So back and forth she informs me that I should have called because making an update to the booking online automatically moves it indoors. So I tell her that it did not say this anywhere and I was not prompted. Knowing that it is my birthday and I have 9 people now waiting to see what we do about this, she proceeds to state something alongside it says so in the policy, you should ve read it . Long story short, she was not helpful, I hang up and my friend calls to see if there s an availability, the booking is moved from 6:45 to 8:30 pm. Still okay.. we go to the restaurant at 8:30 and we wait there until 9 PM to get our table. I speak with the guy seating us and he apologized and served me a free prosecco. Very nice of him but it does not eliminate the fact that management completely acted unprofessionally. I rarely write reviews but this one I cannot keep in. It was my birthday, a group of 9 and the carelessness involved is unacceptable. Again, nothing against the staff servicing the tables. Just some decency of taking accountability of such a screw up is appreciated next time - specially on special occasions.

Read the negative reviews and then read them again. This is hands down the worst food Ive had in the city. I wish we had read the reviews prior to going. We were a table of 9 and everyone who ordered steak barely ate it due to it being incredibly chewy and inedible (think gristle not meat). I was so disappointed and asked if this was a common complaint to which they said yes. They took mine back and removed it from the bill. I felt bad for our server because as soon as I mentioned the steak being terrible I got the impression that he likely has to have this conversation frequently. Dont waste your money. The rooftop view is nice but not worth the disappointment.

Our 1st time at Stock. Loved it.

Quality steaks and friendly staff. We had their NY strip, and it was perfectly cooked and delicious. We also loved their mixed mushrooms and potatoes! The only downside was that it can get super loud during dinner as it gets crowded, and we could barely hear ourselves.

Granted we went on Sunday at 745 - table was real nice and they accommodated a party of 6. My party had some starters including tartar and squid- mains included a pizza, cheese burger, pasta and steak with fries. Nobody was blown away by the food - my pork chop was tough and cold. Please try better with a $50 pork chop.

We had a good time for brunch, good food, and service. Will definitely be back. Steak was under-seasoned surprisingly, but we added salt and enjoyed.

Came here for the beautiful long weekend to sit outside and enjoy the warm sun on the rooftop bar. Such a hidden gem just slightly away from the city hustle and bustle. We ordered drinks (one cocktail and one red wine) and both were great! If you like lemon with a hint of earl grey the cocktail (Tè Freddo) is quite well done. We ordered a cobb salad and a pizza (mordatella e pistachio) to share. Arguably one of the better pizza doughs in the city with a light fluffy crust! All in all, a really great experience and I can totally see this space being useful for a private dining event for a larger group for hosting events or something along those lines. Will be returning!

The space is beautiful and the cocktails and dessert were good but service and food was just okay. The portion sizes especially are ridiculous and we werent warned that some of the appetizers werent shareable. Also for a place that doesnt slice their pizza as theyre originally Italian, the menu is a random mix of different European regions and the pizza itself while okay, definitely didnt taste super authentic.

Culinary Absolutism! Stock T.C is a fantastic addition to the Yonge and Eglinton dinning scene. Cozy yet cool interior design, eclectic wine offering, savoury dishes - it offers the North Toronto crowd a bit of downtown without the long commute. But, theres something else this manufactured establishment offers, and its rare - no add-ons, no substitutions, no changes, no complaints. Dont like potato - you get potato. Dont want feta on top, order something else. You want hot sauce, hope you like chillis in oil cause thats all you will get. You can almost see the soul of the waiters body leave them when you ask for an additional condiment - knowing they will have to confront the uncompromising kitchen staff with the request.

Don t care about pick up orders at all. Told me wait 5-7 min, I waited over 40 minutes. What a joke of this place it is.

This place never disappoints, especially the scallop crudo.

I went earlier this week as I always walked past it. I was pleasantly surprised by the deli counter and the cafe area. There is SO MUCH FOOD! I had the banoffee pie and it was delicious! Service was great too!

Food is good, consistent throughout all my visits but the service is so bad, almost every time I have come in. Seth s service was really disappointing and non-personal on my latest visit. We were out for a birthday dinner. He barely checked up on us or asked any questions throughout our dinner. Then proceeded to place a dessert menu in front of us without having asked us if we were interested or even checked up on how dinner was tasting. I keep saying I won t go back because of the service but I give in because of the food and am left disappointed every time.

I went for my birthday dinner! Initially we had a large party booking 10+ people and the restaurant was very responsive and honest about large party rules/restrictions.. they made the booking process very seamless! Once arrived, our party size was smaller however the food was excellent and it was a very calm yet exciting atmosphere, it was my first time there after referred by a friend and will most definitely be back! - Thank you Stock Bar!!

Second time coming here, the first time for brunch. The atmosphere is really cool with some great decor. Customer service is on point and the staff provide great recommendations. The food was really good, the only reason for four stars is some of the dishes are incredibly small and you would think a $25 hamburger would come with fried (that would be $12) extra. For the brunch if they are still serving it I would recommend getting the chicken and waffles (hopefully it becomes a regular menu item).

One of the managers took money from the employee tip jar to refund me for the difference in something their improperly trained employee did not scan an item in. Then started loudly arguing with me. Taking out of the tip jar for a price adjustment is illegal.

This authentic Italian restaurant in Midtown is truly unique. The first floor boasts an Italian supermarket and deli, while the second floor transforms into a vibrant restaurant and bar. The meals, whether meat or fish, were not only delicious but also wonderfully fresh. chocolate soufflé for dessert was a delightful highlight! The atmosphere is lively, and the place was bustling with customers. It might not be the ideal spot for those seeking a quiet meal due to its energetic ambiance. Personally, its my favorite place to be. This is an Italian restaurant located in Midtown. The first floor is a supermarket and deli, and the second floor is a restaurant and bar. The food was delicious and fresh, both meat and fish. The chocolate soufflé dessert was very delicious. The inside of the store was a lively place with a good atmosphere. It may not be suitable for people who want to eat quietly.

We enjoy checking out the grocery downstairs when we re in the neighbourhood. Had never been to the bar upstairs until now. Absolutely love the atmosphere fans of the building. Spent more time admiring the lighting and light fixtures probably than the food beautiful tile mural also. Recommend the seafood, very fresh. Pasta was an 8/10. Would return, brunch options look good.

Service insane quick quality crazy all authentic ingredients

Food was very bad for the price, I think Im still chewing the medium rare steak two days later. Out of our group of 14 people, not one person enjoyed their overly salty food, nor did anyone enjoy the condescending host, very undeserving of the mandatory 20% tip and 2% event tip.

First time visit, recommended by a friend. Service was absolutely top notch, however the food was somewhat very average and nothing to hurray about.

Previously I ve had good experiences at STOCK BAR and it is a place I like to take my friends when they visit Toronto. However, my most recent visit was quite disappointing. Unfortunately, we received poor service from our waiter which has left me and my friends feeling offended and unwelcome. One of my friends who invited us for lunch used an $100 gift card to pay for a portion of the meal. Afterwards, the waiter made it obvious that he was concerned that we wouldn t pay the tip on the original amount and we felt very patronized. I ve been to other restaurants where if a gift card was used, the waiter would kindly remind us that the tip % would not reflect the original tab - we wish that could have been the experience we had at STOCK. Of course, we paid the full tip based on the original total, but we left with a bad taste in our mouth and the atmosphere of our group had been dampened. Definitely hesitant to be bringing friends and family here in the future.

My waiter guy with bald head and British accent - worst service ever. I asked for a topping removed on a pizza and he became very rude about it for no reason. Mentioned the chefs put a lot of time into designing these pizzas . I walked by the kitchen it s a bunch of 20 year olds. Failed to accommodate me and embarrassed me in front of other guests. Told me this isn t one of those spots you can just pick and replace toppings, we re a lot more high class . Food was alright I d say 6/10, service ruined it to a 0/10

I was amazed by the unique concept of STOCK BAR. The entrance through the grocery store added to the experience. The atmosphere was welcoming and elegant, with delightful aromas in the air. The menu offered a variety of delicious dishes, expertly prepared with fresh ingredients. I ve always believed quality and simplicity over quantity and complexity. The staff was attentive and knowledgeable. The presentation of the food was impeccable, and the pizza was outstanding. I highly recommend visiting STOCK BAR as soon as possible.

Absolutely love the ambiance and historic features of the building! Industrial rustic decor vibes. I had the ground squash and seafood pasta. Both were delicious. Excellent customer service. Vegetarian options: Yes available. The ground squash was delicious. Parking: Not easy to find. Especially during busy hours.

The 3 star rating is for the pizza. The atmosphere and service have to date been good but the pizza here (similar to their sister restaurant Terroni Price Street) leaves a lot to be desired. Crust like cardboard. Order anything but the pizza.

Honestly, great atmosphere and great service but very disappointed in the food. Id prefer a night at Terroni (since its part of the same group). Our octopus starter had maybe 5 tiny, tiny chopped pieces. For the price point, I was expecting a bit more quality. Having said that, again, the atmosphere and service were great - perhaps we just ordered the wrong items and should have stuck to their more popular dishes. Desserts were on point. Will give it another shot this summer when the rooftop patio is open.

We had a wonderful evening here. The ambiance is decadent and cozy. We had the mortadella e pistachio pizza which was divine. These are real Italian pizzas where the crust is thin and crispy and the flavours of the fresh toppings are vibrant; not smothered and lost in a sea of sauce and cheese. The pistachio flavour and crunch was a delicious pairing with the mortadella. Loved it. They only make Caesar s on Sundays, by the way! Haha, I found this unique quirk funny, even though it was what I had originally wanted to order. We will definitely be back.
